Review Artusi Ristorante E Bar - New Delhi

If you love Italian and want to indulge in some authentic dishes then head to Artusi. The place makes their own pasta, owned by an italian, it's in the top 10 best restaurants in India list! I loved the pastas, meats and desserts here. The food goes excellent with the wine pairing from their vast wine menu. The service is really good as well.

Beautiful restaurant lovely food and great vibes. Must must visit if you Love authentic and rustic Italian from Emilia-Romagna region of North Italy which is the most famous for its Parmesan cheese and Balsamic vinegar and the Parma ham and awesome hand made pasta. Owner is an Italian and is a truly passionate guy I must admit. A high end, elegant and classy affair.

Fabulous Mother’s Day lunch! They even honoured our Zomato Gold vouchers! Super food- great portions! Good service! Full marks to the chef! Pasta was a little bland but with a little personal tweaking came out great!

The food here is delectable in choice and taste. It's refreshing that they do not (repeat: do not) have pizza as an option despite being an Italian restaurant. The variety of pasta and sauces are balanced with the quantity of food to be consumed in order up be fulfilled without becoming a glutton. The meats, vegetables, and breads are there for those who prefer little or no pasta. The dessert and drinks menu is not extensive but sufficient to cover all bases of Italian desserts. The one area for improvement is that they do not accept RuPay credit/debit cards here. Especially when the Prime Minister of the country is busy promoting an Indian based payment system that is now accepted in Singapore, Dubai, And various regional countries, all merchants that accept debit cards should accept The Indian home grown payment card like RuPay.

It's a quaint little place serving authentic Italian food. Each dish we ordered was delicious 👌 Though the size of servings was a little less for the price, but u can't complain when it tastes so good. Wine cocktails were great but the champagne cocktails not so.

I think the place has very authentic food. Stick to staple Italian dishes which are quite enjoyable. The dessert choices could be better. They don't match the main course standards.
Srishti Bhardwaj
Loved the place and the food. The staff was humble and knew their job. Would love to come back whenever I crave Italian!

It was a very nice experience in artusi truly authentic italian food

Perfect Italian restaurant in new Delhi. Enjoyed everything thoroughly.

So dinner here was not just having dinner, it was an experience in itself. I am still amazed at what a lovely evening it was, being at this place. The waitress asked us if we would like to start with sparkling Italian white wine. We ordered two salads, going by what they recommended, and along came the wine glasses. It was quite thoughtful of them to get us cold tomato soup shots and complementary breads with sun dried tomato sauce. Coming to main course, we ordered risotto with mix vegetables, pasta and red wine. The dessert was a perfect ending- we had pennacotta. Amazing authentic Italian dishes with good wine and jazz music playing in the background, with a beautiful ambience and good sophisticated crowd, would just make your evening, would it not?

Everything is too slow, veg food not good. Can’t give zero else would give, needs a full overhaul to improve

I was given choice of 7 to 9pm or 9:30pm to 11pm for Valentine's day. And the reason was, because sir it is valentine's day. #Fail and FU. It's valentine's day, not a damn meeting you geniuses

From the ambience, class and wonderful decor (shiny white linen) to the excellent food and some of the best service i have received in delhi. Place oozes class and is not as overpriced as some other "comfort food" joints. Homemade pasta is a game changer. My 18 month old was as comfortable as i was (she was running around the place and the staff just smiled and humoured everything, the staff were so accomodating; all in all a fabulous experience and we'll worth the money

The food is lovely and has that finesse that one expects from any fine dining Italian restaurant. If you're in the mood for some heavy Big Chill style food then this is not the place to go. However, if you're up for fresh ingredients, sumptuous servings yet well proportioned dishes then please do try this place out.
We had the Tomino, melon and prosciutto, crostini, loads of different pasta and risotto (we were 10 people), Panna cotta, tiramisu, affagato, fried cream, chocolate mousse and white wine.
There wasn't a single dish that I did not enjoy!

I heard form lots of people about this place, one of our friend been here two years back.
Good

Olive oil, tabel breads, fresh truffle

Needs improvement

Flavours fo all pasta, consistency in food

Absent staff, Average food

The heading pretty much defines our experience in this over rated excuse of a restaurant.
The food also could not compensate and was very average.
Shweta
The owner almost forced us to order off the menu claiming that there is no way we wouldn’t like what she was practically ordering for us. The waiter failed to explain the dishes to us,and predictably the food was bad. We informed her that we didn’t like what she made us order to which her response was “that’s impossible !” The least she could do was apologise Several tables had arguments with the owner, and she failed to pacify any of them.

The dishes were perfectly cooked. Seasoning and flavours were amazing!
We ate pesto pasta and risotto. The risotto was especially great!
Loved the meal

Artusi has been a famous name in GK-2 and specially south delhi for its fine dining experience and amazing food. I went here last year but forgot to write about it.

The ambience of the restaurant is fantastic. The food menu looked very tempting and I decided to order the following:

1. Squid Ink Pasta: A good pasta but didnt live up to the excitement of black squid ink pasta, the sauce was a light silky citrus butter garlic sauce which didnt give the pasta the elevation it required, but was still a decent pasta.

2. Lasagna Bolognese: Excellent flavour, rich tomato sauce and overall incredible. (Must Try)

Overall I recommend people to go here for the experience and some of their food items are amazing, hence must try and take your loved ones here.

Artusi has the ability to transport one to italy.

I came to Artusi for the Sunday brunch. The menu was full of fantastic options. The food was of exquisite quality. The courses kept flowing in with the unlimited sparkling wine
. I really enjoyed myself here. Thankyou Artusi for transporting me to Italy for this Sunday brunch.
Anita Jaswal
The food was too little for the price, definitely not enough to fill one person per dish even with all the complimentary bread. We ordered a vegetarian lasagna which came layered with potatoes instead of pasta which was very upsetting because everyone knows a lasagna is supposed to have pasta sheets in it! Thankfully the service was good and they replaced our order but still very disappointing helpings and food.
Yousuf Saeed
Highly overpriced and average food. We ordered a pasta with salmon - the pasta was too al dente or undercooked, and there were tiny slivers of salmon here and there. Won't come back, as its no value for money. Thanks any way.
Rushali
Very disappointed with Artusi. The crostini appetizer was basically a bruschetta. The seabass in the main course was ridiculously rubbery!! The mushroom risotto was too heavily loaded with cheese. They forgot about our maincourse chicken order altogether! The selection of red wine by the glass was also quite mediocre. The only saving Grace was the chocolate mousse. Other than that, really not worth the price.
Gaurang Mehta
Really poor stuff for a supposedly fine dining restaurant. Half the food was floating in butter, the other half tasted like rubber. Poor service. No attempt to rectify a visibly crap experience. Overpriced and absolutely not worth it!

Must have: Butterhead in raspberry vinaigrette salad

Food: I ordered buttergead in raspberry vinaigrette salad. I am really fond of european salads which are high on nuts. This one is poured with pine nuts and to top it up, goat cheese. If you love goat cheese, this one’s your deal. It’s so good, I am a thousand percent sure you won’t be disappointed.
I also ordered Traingoli verdure, it’s basically stuffed pasta or ravioli. The unique bit is that it is green in color because the dough is made out of spinach. Filled with mashed roasted vegetables and topped with red sauce and aubergine cubes. I wasn’t sure of what pasta to order and this caught my eye, I loved it. It’s so light to eat and you don’t feel like you’re having pasta or something heavy.

Ambience: Oh lovely, this place has candles light. It automatically takes my heart away. The place has a romantic italian vibe to it. I’d love it every single time.

Service: I did face the same zomato good dish not discounted in the bill at first issue that I do a lot many times. But the recommendations are on point and I liked how sweet and careful in general you’re treated here.

This is just the perfect place to dine peacefully in the rush of Delhi. I went there for Sunday brunch and literally both the food and service were simply amazing. The cocktails they serve are on the point. And Feroz the manager there is one of the most courteous man in this industry. Thank you for making my Sunday special.

I had a fun filled time over cocktails and mocktails, fine wines imported from Italy at Artusi Ristorante in GK 2.

Service is very good whether you are the only table or the restaurant is full.

Started with an Italian breakfast followed by lunch. Enjoyed the vast variety of selections. From the imported Italian cheese, organic fresh green salads, in house baked breads, hand made pasta, ravioli, triangoli, variety of authentic Italian sauces like Carbonara with Bacon and Egg, Aglio Olio e Pepperoncino, Pesto Genovese with Italian Basil (fantastic taste), Arrabbiata with spiced Tomato. The selection from the fish, poultry and meat. Followed by the amazing desserts Panna Cotta, Tira Misu, Sorbet, Gelatos and so much more. I have just mentioned a part of the whole. And of course Italian coffee to finish off. This is such a great way to chill out! I reached by 12 and left at 4pm!

Perfecto!
The food, the ambience and the service! We had gone for a Sunday brunch and enjoyed every bit of the menu. With three cocktails and a divine menu to offer, they serviced us with the best. I do think it is a perfect place for those first dates and family dinners.
The music was stellar in its choices of songs. I love the little bar they have in the front of the entrance.
Ayesha Adlakha
Had a wonderful dinner of Tortellini alla Panna and Lamb Chops. They were both equally delicious and beautifully presented. It was just two of us and the portions were perfect. Remember to carry a shawl or a jacket though because the air conditioning is AGGRESSIVE! But this place is an excellent choice for celebratory dinners in my opinion and the ambience really sets the mood for a good time :)

12/2019: Changing wait staff has lead to a big decline in service. One guy in particular, often near the entrance, treats you like dirt if you walk-in without an appointment randomly on a weekday.
Can’t say anything nice here, I’ve been turned away by that guy enough times now for no real reason, even with tables available (since the other staff I’ve come to know we’re ready to walk me in and prep a table).

The Sunday Brunch has great food/drinks and even greater service.

I’ve been going here off and on for an year now, mostly for lunch and sometimes a quick evening Tiramisu or Panna Cotta.
However, Artusi may become a Sunday afternoon staple for me now; the brunch is that good.

Finally came here for the first time after seeing countless photos from here. It did not disappoint. I got the perfect prawns, it basically has everything.

The servers were all very nice and courteous.

I will be back.

Artusi - The food is Yummmm!!
We ordered for a veg pasta in red sauce, the food quantity was limited but yes enough to Fill your belly !!!
The only thing I dint like was that , the whole restaurant was empty... it’s usally like that
Just Us and nobody !!

Service- great
Food quality- great
Taste - Super

Its a must visit place !!

Amazing food as always, the authentic and flavourful food brings me back every time. Love that they can accommodate individual dietary needs and serve delicious food at any given time.

One of the best Italian food, I have had in India. Beats several of the 5 star restaurants, hands down. The choice of ingredients, the delicate flavours and pasts cooked to perfection! Cannot ask for more. Hope you do open one in Mumbai soon. Keep up the excellent work!

Quiet and very home like ambience, not noisy at all. Great place to have lunch meetings and catch up conversations. Music though could be better, they were playing Indian instrumental, choice of music can be reconsidered. Western classical or western instrumental would be ideal.

Whilst the food here was faultless-as always- it’s the beverages that caused us much distress last night. The prosecco i was served was flat and i had to send it back and ask for a glass from a fresh bottle. My friend’s margarita was nothing to write home about; in fact she had to send it back to the bartender to get the rim of her glass salted -something so basic for a margarita. I mean come on! And the decaffeinated cappuccino was most definitely the worst beverage i have ever sipped in my life. The service was super enthusiastic to begin with and then took a sudden dip with long waiting periods. For an otherwise star-quality restaurant, which i have visited many times, last night was a bit of a disappointment to say the least.

If only I could rate it any higher.
.
Artusi is the temple of Italian food in Delhi NCR, none can second its position. Having travelled to Italy continuously for over a dozen times, each in the lap of wineries, trattorias, home cooked food, one can confidently say Artusi delivers a similar experience here. There Gran Pate, Fettuccini Ragu, Aglio Olio, Chicken Breast, Scalloppata, Tiramisu, and Crispy Fried Pastry are some of the dishes amongsts our regular orders.
If the restaurant and the experience is rated any lower then you're BigChill-ised and Artusi is a waste for you. But if one wishes to clean the slate and relearn Italian cuisine, look no further
Bravo Team Oscar

It's beautiful- the food, the ambience, it's attentive but not hovering staff, the wine, the desserts, the food, the food. Sigh. Bliss.
We are ushered into the cosy dining room which looks like it's out of small town in Italy- a few tables with simple traditional decor and soft music playing. Within 10 minutes we are sipping our excellent sangrias and waiting for our appetizers. Tonnato arrives first- the capers beautifully balancing the creamy tuna. Then come the Tomino and carpaccio. The carpacio isn't very nice but the Tomino sends our gustatory cortex into raptures of delight. The mushrooms are beautifully cooked and that cheese doesn't just melt, it adds a whole new dimension to this dish. We take a break, sipping on that second sangria. Nobody hurries or hovers as more diners stream in.
We decide on the Scallops and Giant prawns. Both arrive within 20 minutes. The prawns are indeed grilled to perfection and the scallops so beautiful, that we decide then and there that this is our favourite Italian place in Delhi.
We usually never order dessert. But this outstanding meal makes us break that rule and order the affogatto. Unfortunately, the machine is broken. So we order gelato, instead. Rather generous scoops of Vanilla, Strawberry and ( cannot remember if it is chocolate or coffee) gelato arrive. The strawberry is a little sweet, the other also doesn't stand out. But goodness, the vanilla. It is perfect- not sweet, not heavy and creamy and not "too vanilla" if you know what I mean.
We had a wonderful time and intend to return again. Thank you, chef & team!

I love fine dining and I keep looking out for places like that. This place was on my lost from the longest time. For wine, though. And I went on Election Day. Dry day. Haha! Ordered orange juice which came in the wine glass. Something to be happy about. Ordered pasta in pink sauce which I felt was a little dry. Could have been done better. Grilled chicken and chips, which was yummy and the presentation looked like fish and chips. And bruschetta sort of starter which was nice. But, Italian could have been done better! Ended the meal with tiramisu, was delicious
What a delight. Massive European bistro feels with minimal yet classy interiors, low music volume, attentive servers and the fooooood! Hands down the best italian in Delhi. It is as “authentic” as it gets. Brownie points for the cheese platter and the crustacean bisque.
Sujoy Mitra
Artusi is an upscale restaurant situated in the greater kailash 2 m block market. The interiors give an old world classic feel and add to the fine dine experience. Though the space is bit crammed up it doesn't really make a difference as the clientele seems to be upscale too :-)
We ordered sigari and tuna for starters. The tuna did have it's characteristic smell but the cigari was soft and melted in mouth. Ravioli had all the aroma of spinach, celery and butter. The chicken breast for main course was filling with the cream sauce made to perfection. To wrap it we had the panna cotta as dessert which was crunchy and amazing in consistency. The prices are more towards the high side but as it is a class apart so there. We shall come back for hand made pasta.
Nice place, average ambience. Nearly authentic Italian food. Both the taste and quantity of portions was good. Service was great, staff well trained.

Went to Artusi Ristorante with really high expectations. Had heard positive reviews about the place but my experience turned out to be nothing like that. The service was pathetic paying no attention. I had ordered 3 pasta dishes and an appetiser. The food arrived 40 minutes after ordering. I had to send back the pasta because it was completely bland having no salt or flavour. Being a budding chef myself i completely disliked the food and the service.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Delhi! Loved the food! Service was impeccable! The seafood platter was fantastic and extremely fresh! So happy to visit, will visit again’

Tried:
Seafood Platter
Spaghetti in white sauce
Spaghetti in cheese sauce and broccoli
Chicken breast in Mushroom sauce (Not 100% sure of the name)
New Zealand Lamb Chops
Prawns

Food: 5/5
Ambience: 5/5
Service: 5/5

Artusi is truly artistic when it comes to food and service. It is always a delight to dine in there. You can order anything off the menu and there on most definately going to relish it and will be back for more.

Spaghetti Carbonara in egg-based sauce with bacon and sausages seasoned with grated cheese and herbs.
Also, this place is at the top of my favorite restaurants to have pasta. The ambiance is quite peaceful and vibrant.
Tripti Charan
One of the most authentic Italian restaurant in Gurgaon, Artusi Ristorante is a fine dine located in GK-II and One Horizon Center at the Golf Course Road. The best thing about their menu is that it is vast and also offers fresh juices including watermelon, pineapple and orange. Also they make their pastas fresh by hand and not to forget the wide range of wine and spirits they offer.
Ananya Agarwal
This is one of the finest Italian restaurants in Delhi. Needless to say, the pasta is great.

What really stood out for me was the panna cotta - so very delightfully creamy - maybe even the best I’ve ever had!
Nupur Nagpal
Heard a lot about this place with their hand rolled pasta. A friend of mine who’s a chef in uk specially recommended me Artusi in to try for authentic Italian food here in Delhi.
Maybe the issue was that my expectations were quite high.
On entering the place looks like someone’s living room. Tables are placed quite close and you can overhear everyone’s conversations. Or maybe because it’s delhi :p
We ordered 4 different types of pasta, long, stuffed, baked and short. Overall the flavour were fine. Presentation was great and staff was courteous.
Had a great evening overall.
Was I blown away with the flavours, no maybe not. If I am around I’ll maybe visit again. But will I drive 50mins from home again, don’t think so.
Nehaa Kaura
Artusi had been on our to do for a long time. But it was a total disappointment. The space is small with approx 40 covers. The tables are very close to each other - so the possibility of having intimate conversations while dining is ruled out. It was very noisy! The ambience is very ordinary. The menu is limited. The quality is food does not justify the exorbitant pricing. It’s a last time for me!

Perfectly hand knead pasta delivers overwhelming pleasure. This place lies on my list's top when we discuss good pasta in Delhi. No pizzas available. Pre booking recommended.
Akshay Mattu
Delicious food and impeccable service! Loved the whole vibe of the place. They have quite a few gluten free and whole wheat options as well!
Arijit Bhaduri
This is probably best place for luxury dining an authentic Italian cuisine. Surely there are many Italian restaurants out there. But the taste of their pastas are almost same. Very native. And I learned about that after visiting this place. The ambience was also very traditional and peaceful. The decor was also somewhat similar to the Italian restaurants shown in Martin Scorsese's movies in the 90s.
Coming to the food. I had ordered the traditional Lasagna Bolognese, Chitarra Lobster and Pollo ai Funghi.
At first glance seeing the quantity I felt disappointed. But once I started eating I realized that the quantity was actually enough. Their handmade pasta was really amazing. The mushroom sauce was also brilliant. Overall it was worth it.

First experience at Artusi finally,
comfortable seating and ambiance.

Service were quick to respond and helpful with orders. loved the dry tomato sauce served with breads.
Wish some more herb leaves could be made available as they add to the flavour.

Risotto Pomodor was exquisite. Subtle taste, Simple yet delicious, I could one meal of it everyday.
Mezzelune Burra on the other hand disappointed us in taste. Quantity was sufficient however the taste was off balance. Will try a different ravioli on my next visit

My first visit in 'Artusi, GK-II'... An Italian Fine Dining ... It has a seprate Bar Area, not so big but very warm and pleasant... the restaurant interior is old fashioned but the staff is very nice..... Food is very nice also.. they have large italian food menu... almost 4 pages for different variety of Pasta... this is 'Salmon and Mash Potato' served with Olive Oil and Home Made Bread. Just Loved it....

Lives up to the hype. Exceptional food. There are carbonaras and there are carbonaras. This is where you get the best of them. A good no frills decor and the cozy ambience add to the experience.

I love there salmon in lemon butter sauce . I even like the prawn avocado salad. There pizza is also yum it's all time my favorite Italian restraunt.

We had high hopes n expected much more frm artusi. The place is tiny , very average interiors. Just wasnt appealing to us. Coming to the food , below average. Everything from the bread basket to the appetizers to the main course was below standard and overly priced. Wont be coming back.

If you are looking for authentic Italian food and don’t mind shelling out some extra money, then this is the place to go! Artusi ristorante e bar doesn’t feel like a big fancy place. Decor is rustic and old school with heavy wooden furniture that would be perfect for a mountain view cafe, not sure if it goes well with the busy gk vibe, personally speaking.

Coming to the food, we ordered a cheese platter, artichoke and pecorino salad and finally mezzelune burrata pasta. Salad was nice and fresh with decent amount of seasoning. Cheese platter was also delectable, however we expected some more accompaniments with the cheese. Dish of the day for us was definitely the pasta. It was cooked to perfection, filling was appropriate so was the sauce. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would love to go back again soon.

Great food, really cozy old timey european feel, and amazing food and wonderful service, we were served by Rajesh Kumar and he was kind enough to remind of us our Zomato Gold membership as well, no one does that anywhere else

Been there twice in the last 15 days ! Very good service and food . Wish they would add wood oven Pizzas . I understand they are using imported ingredients, but prices with alcohol very steep .

It was my first visit to artusi with my family, we were 8 of us & am amazed with the ambience - authentic italian feel, great flavours - tried their Ferro salad , Tomino , Angel hair pasta , Mushroom risotto , Spinach Ravioli , Baked aubergine dish & everything was too good.I must say what a excellent service as it was busy friday night but servers are very courteous , polite & knowledgeable. We finished our meal with their mouth watering dessert Panna cotta , authehtic Tiramisu , dark chocolate mousse & homemade gelato's. Artusi have become one of my favorite, we will definitely go back. Definitely recommend it, go for a culniary authentic italian journey😋😋.

This was my second visit. I am still not comfortable with the 'dark and gloomy' setting of the place. Perhaps the light could have had little more of luminance. Now coming to food, wise people in the food industry say that 'good food' is all about 'good ingredients'... It is absolutely true. I ordered Tortellinis and immediately remembered this 'old saying'. I don't smoke or drink but still couldn't get any flavour out of this dish. I tasted the pasta too which my girlfriend ordered and felt the taste of handmade pasta was completely over powered by thick layer of cream which was again too much for my taste. The Tortellinis were thick and wasn't of my liking. I had order the safest desert to make myself happy - Panna Cotta. It was nice. Caramelized sugar was too sweet for my taste and I think honey would have been better. Also 1 mint leaf want enough but since it offered a great depth to the desert, I asked for some more and it went so well. The manager was courteous enough not to charge for the Tortellinis and said 'perhaps one of our bad days, do come and give us another chance', which we thought was very sweet of him. I do feel sorry while writing this review and hope the restaurant management would try and source better ingredients in the future. I'll visit this place again in a while and see if I can change my perception for this place.
Brad Hutton
The service is haphazard and the food was average. For a place which is suppose to be one of the best in Delhi, I question the quality as there was nothing special about the food. The service was poor in that they continued to ignore our table. We had to request to have dishes removed.
Vaibhav Aggarwal
At the outset, I'd clarify that I am somebody who cares more for the taste than for the authenticity of the food. So I am unsure if this place would score high on authenticity but my review is in light of the above-mentioned consideration.

I'd heard of this place many a time previously and finally happened to visit it. The ambience of the place is decent - to me it seemed a bit of a normal dining room kind of set up - so nothing especially mentionable to it.

Even at the start, it was quite noticeable that the service was slightly slow and the servers not very responsive. That is something this restaurant may really need to improve upon.

Anyway, partly going by the recommendation of our server, we decided to try their 'Tomino' (a combination of toasted bread with cheese and sauteed mushrooms), one of their prawn dishes, as well as a portion of pasta. While all the items were kind of nice, there was nothing particularly mentionable about it. Coupled with the slow service and the over-priced dishes (for something of its kind), this place would well settle at a 3.

Pritika Malhotra

This is the Review you must read: My partner and I had seen Artusi and loved the look and feel of a truer kind of Italian fine dine and their awards. We went today - We ordered the Reginette smoked salmon pasta and the Tortellini All Panna pasta - I have to clear it for everyone that the food is average at best. Their sun-dried tomato pesto given complimentary with a bread basket is very stale, the olive oil on the table is not extra virgin and the bread is very ordinary. Not fresh, not soft, very store bought.
Now let's come to the food - Extremely average tasting, loaded with cream and very low on fresh, soulful punch. If you think you are a foodie and like this place then you've not eaten good food in life. Ingredients seemed very bleh at best.
The Manager - He has no recommendations to give you , says everything is good. Restaurants which do this are already mediocre to start with. When we tell him the food is average, he asks us to try another dish. So I would say this manager is not the best one to be placed here. He also seemed very crude - better suited to a Haldiram's family outlet but not for Artusi.
Drinks - Ordered a Pina Colada (bad choice I know) but the drink again was good, nothing great.
All I am saying is that for 8-900 bucks for a Pasta and all the pretentious decor and bought awards, I will never go there. A 30 Rs Chole Kulche is made more honestly and has more character than anything at Artusi. All of those awards seemed very fake.
Wine Collection : I have no exposure hence can't comment. Looked and priced fancy though. ;)
Why do people go there : Well because everyone wants to come back and say they had fancy Italian. To this Italian place - I would say that Italian ancestors are crying somewhere. And the pretentious public is also equally tasteless and playing to the jumla :(

After a long wait, I finally got to visit Artusi. I had heard so much about the place, such good reviews, my expectations were at another level. I was really looking forward to it.

I was a little disappointed as soon as I stepped in. The ambience didn't set the feel for me. It seemed a little old fashioned. I expected it to be a little more plush.

We ordered for:
- Crostini Pomodoro e Mozzarella
- Spaghetti AOP
- Affagato
- Sangria
All tasted just about average.

Unfortunately my experience wasn't as I had expected it to be.

Overpriced and overhyped.food and ambience both are just ok not worth mentioning at all.didnot meet our expectations.u can get better Italian in many other restaurants.
Excellent Italian food and service! Congratulations!
We really liked the wine and the pasta! The best Italian restaurant. I would also recommend you the cheese board and panna cotta!

Tried this place after hearing about it from a few people. As soon as you walk in, you enter into the bar area which is well done, the dining area is a completely different matter though. It seems like a place from 25 years ago, with the cutlery and table linen only adding to it. The food options are also extremely limited so unless you’re a big fan of pasta or risotto, dont go here. The food quality for what you ordered is not too bad as long as you tell them to calm down on the garlic and onions.

Italian food at it's very best! The food was delicious and was served hot. The chicken appetizers were amazing and worth trying for. Penne with minced chicken was not that great..but will suggest people to try the place, it's expensive but when you get to eat such food it's worth every penny! Must visit!

Artusi is hands down my favourite Italian restaurant in Delhi! I saw this because every time I've been here the food has consistency, tastes amazing and I always have a good time here. I started my meal here by ordering for Tomino which is soft cheese that melts over toasted bread and is served with sautéed mushrooms and Italian white truffle oil. Next up was the home made spinach ravioli which was extremely flavoursome and my all time favourite. For mains, I also ordered for roasted chicken which was served with sautéed vegetables and mashed potato. I particularly loved the Tiramisu that I ordered for desserts along with Pannacota.

Second time I have been to this restaurant, and thoroughly enjoyed myself along with my guests. Started with a lively selection of breads and dips which were intriguing. Following this we had the minestrone soup which tasted so authentically home made from Italy - just brought out the wonderful flavours of the seasonal vegetables - amazing. For mains of mushroom risotto and salmon which had some minor flaws but still 9/10 each. Risotto in respect to presentation and salmon was a little dry and over cooked but that was probably due to the shape of the fillet. Finished on a magnificent panna cotta for desert. Highly recommend!

I was here with my son a few hours ago - blown away by the food and the service. Appetizers - Chicken liver pate with caramelized onions. - true umami flavor. Made almost into a jam with balsamic. And then my favorite - Fried calamari ( yes decadent .. but it was great)And their primi aka pasta. All handmade. Tagliatelle for me and tortellini for my son. These were handmade, hand rolled (no pasta press) and hand cut!. To die for!No secondi.. will be back! And their service is exemplary .. From their wait staff to the managers. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience!
Also our first time and you guys made us feel so welcome

Italian Cuisine is not difficult to find in Delhi, especially with every other cafe throwing in pizza and pasta on their menu. But those are all Indianised versions and the authenticity of this cuisine somewhat gets lost due to that. Apart from a few restaurants housed in five star properties, Artusi is one such place which has created a niche for itself and is being touted as one of the best and most authentic Italian restaurant in Delhi NCR. This prompted us to give them a visit and we planned a lunch here.

Was really looking forward to the dinner here and was left disappointed by the quality of food and service.

The food started on a good note with beautiful salads and ended with the most amazing panacottas. The main courses were unfortunately disappointing, especially the tortellinis. The tortellinis were too thick, letting you taste only the dough and not the meat inside. It didn’t help that it was doused in cheesy sauce making it impossible to taste any other flavours. Even the other pasta dishes did not impress.

The service was worse with waiters being missing most of the time in spite of only two tables being occupied at the restaurant. Will not return.

To start with the German lager was good. Prosciutto with melon, spinach asparagus ravioli, crostini veg, sea food platter, mushroom risotto, all have been superb. Bread served were damn soft and delicious.

Service was good but waiting was extremely long for the food. Overhyped in my opinion. The food was okayish. Ordered angel hair pasta and a custom cheese pasta. Nothing to rave about.

If there’s one word that comes to my mind when I think back about my experience at Artusi is - excellence.
Everything about them is perfect and impeccable.
To begin with the staff is so polite, professional and well versed with the menu. They are really helpful in providing the tiniest detail about food on their menu.
Before your meal begins they serve a complimentary bread basket with an array of dips that prepares you for a beautiful meal to come. As delicious as these are, I’d recommend to save your appetite for the actual order you place.
Since Artusi is an Italian fine dining restaurant their forte is Italian cuisine and they excel at it. I’d suggest asking a server to help you choose from the menu, incase you aren’t well versed with Italian cuisine.
For appetiser I tried the Tonnato- sliced chicken in a creamy tuna sauce with capers and some other spices. It was so light and silky and the flavours were so well balanced. It was my first time trying Tonnato and I absolutely loved it.
For the main course I tried their Reginette, broad noodles set in a creamy sauce . The give you the option to customise your pasta as well as the protein of your choice, be chicken or fish. And the pasta is obviously fresh and hand made.
The presentation is also very beautiful.
The ambiance is really amazing. It’s not noisy, the music is light and one can easily come here for a nice romantic dinner or even with family.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone who likes Italian cuisine or wants to have really good food. This place deserves nothing less than five stars for food, ambiance as well as service.

Wonderful authentic Italian food, home made pastas , fresh ingredients & flavours. Salads are so fresh we tried their Ferro which is rocket leave with goat cheese , pine nuts & raisins. For the main course we had Mushroom Risotto , chicken breast , angel hair pasta everything is cooked to perfection. Panna cotta is amazing and mouth watering.
Definitely recommend this place , will visit soon. Service is superb as well. Kudos to the team.

The food is good . However , the place lacks ventilation and gets a bit claustrophobic. Service is also good . A bit high on cost . Overall, a decent experience.

Tried this restaurant for lunch recently and after reading all the positive reviews about it, I was shockingly disappointed. Not a single thing about the ambience was either fancy or Italian. The breads didn’t seem very fresh. Tried their Gnocchi Amatriciana and the Cappelletti with mushrooms. The gnocchi was not as light and fluffy as it should be and there was no flavour in the dish overall, it was extremely bland. The cappelletti was supposed to be filled with cheese inside but one could barely see that and all one could taste was the pasta dough, no cheese at all. Again, a completely flavourless dish. I’ve tried dishes all over the world and there was nothing authentic about this restaurant. The dishes were frankly terrible, nowhere close to being worth their high prices and even their service suggested that they wanted you to speed the process and leave as soon as possible due to their space restrictions. Extremely disappointed, could not find one redeemable thing about this place.

Fantastic true Italian authenticity imposed of tue Italian flavours and taste to give you ride of what actual Italian food means and what’s actually it tastes like.
Had Tortellini alla Panna which was a preparation of parma ham and pork, so wholesome, so hearty which was just enough to sink my heart. A perfect pasta with lamb chunks adding slightest bit of flavour you want in your life.. ‘molto bene’ condiment with delicious flavourful dough what’s just enough to leave you drooling and wanting for more.
Staff is loving and keeps the place well organised clean and hygienic. Service is fast enough to give you actual hunger crave with these aromas around you.

Great food. The only place we have found in Delhi which makes pasta this good. The tiramisu cake was also great................................

The best Italian restaurant in the country undoubtedly.

The best in house bread quality anywhere in India

We tried burrata, alio olio peppercino,n tarfuto pasta

Everything was very good

Only one suggestion the texture of alio olio was not great as it was semolina ,I would prefer a spaghetti or any other pasta

But the whole experience was excellent

Always a pleasure to be here .. the food is great but their portions have reduced a bit.. still one of the best italian restaurants in the city .. i have a general standard order of the tomino to start with , the pate (wish their portions were a bit bigger for both of these ).. the gnocchi or the ravioli and end with their pannacotta which is absolutely amazing .. and of course the customary glass of the lambrusco ..

Great food and wine too go with it. However the ambience is pretty drab. What they lack in decor they definitely make up for with the quality of food and service.

Have been to both their outlets, the one in Delhi and in Gurgaon. The food always hits the spot. They have a wonderful Truffle menu which has been crafted very nicely. Extensive wine list. Nice cocktails and good service. The decor is minimalistic and the restaurant in Delhi May seem a little too cramped considering the tables are very close to each other.

Given the very effective marketing efforts of the restaurant, went especially for the tiramisu. 100% avoidable. No flavour, not enough coffee, not even enough rum.
900 bucks for a small portion - cannot be justified in any way. Would not recommend.

This place is awarded the best Italian restro in town multiple times, and deservedly so. The food here is as authentic Italian as it gets and its heavenly in taste. There are not many restaurants in Delhi where one can get authentic Italian food. Here, the owner as well as the chefs are from Italy and most of their ingredients used are also imported from Italy making the food they serve truly Italian. If you are even itty bitty into Italian cuisine, this place is must visit for you.

LOCATION: it is located in M-Block, GK2.

AMBIENCE/INTERIORS: the interiors of this place are also such that even before you start eating, the ambience will give you the feel that you are indeed dining at some fine dine restaurant in Italy. The lights are dim, the chandeliers classy, a very basic colour theme with arches having black and white pictures, wooden chairs, tables covered with white clothes..all provides for a very classy and elegant feel.

SERVICE: the staff here is well versed with all the dishes and if you are having any difficulty in choosing what to order, ask any waiter here and they will explain the dishes to you. Service speed is decent as well.

FOOD & BEVERAGES: it was my second visit to this place so this time i tried the dishes which i didn't try last leave for the one that i liked the most that time. Each and every single dish that i had this time was a delight to the taste buds. I had:
▪Chilled Tomato & Vegetable Soup ( 4.8/5)
▪Crostini Grilled Vegetable & Cheese ( 4.5/5 )
▪Sigari Croccanti: phyllo pastry cigars filled with puree of spiced & sweetly roasted vegetables. Loved it. ( 5/5 )👍🏻
▪Tomino: finest imported soft cheese gently melting over toasted bread with sauteed mushrooms & Italian white truffle oil. Absolute must try for those who like mushroom & cheese. ( 5/5 )👍🏻
▪Artichokes & Pecorino Salad ( 4.6/5 )
▪Strozzapretti with Aubergines: rustic twisted ribbon pasta set in a sauce of aubergine, tomato and grated Ricotta. ( 4.7/5 )
▪Tajarin Tartufo: Italian truffle churned into fresh butter is the refined condiment for this home made gluten free Tojorin posta. A truly luxurious stand out. Tastiest pasta that i have ever eaten. Highly recommended. ( 5/5 ) 👍🏻👍🏻
▪Risotto Zafferano: traditional Risotto Milanese made from luxurious Carnaroli rice & fine Italian saffron. ( 4.9/5 )👍🏻
▪Ravioli al Burro Asparagi: Ravioli filled spinach, herbs & Ricotta cheese, set in a butter sauce with sage & asparagus. ( 5/5 )👍🏻
▪Panna Cotta: tastiest panna cotta in town. Highly recommended. ( 5/5 )👍🏻👍🏻

Artusi is a good, chic & dynamic place when it comes to the taste & feel of the real Italian , the place elopes into this completely beautiful ambience from the city life.
Now comes the food , the food here is not your typical go to Italian , it needs you to have a world palate.
Out of the 6 pastas ordered as mains & 2 appetisers we ordered attached are the only two things that were worth sharing & definitely worth paying.
By the end of the night we spent a whooping 15k which pinched us seeing the taste & also knowing it’s a restaurant in GK 2. It surely needs to up it’s game in terms of flavour.
