Review Coast Cafe - New Delhi

Another gem of a restaurant that serves delicious South Indian food. I want to try all their dishes. Besides its pleasent ambience, the service is great!

This place is perfect to satisfy all your seafood cravings. As soon as you enter the cafe, the smell of fish and prawns transports you to the coasts of Kerala. It looks amazing in natural light, especially with all its greenery. I had their prawn moilee, and it almost brought me to tears. It paired very well with their perfectly made parotta. I also got the chicken pepper fry, but it was pretty disappointing. The chicken was really dry, so much so that I couldn’t even finish it. It’s the only reason i have docked a star from the rating. I will definitely be visiting them again.

We had Mustard tossed fries, peanut butter and chocolate cold coffee. Very nice ambience and good food. Beautiful green surroundings.

Great cafe with cozy vibes. Visited in the morning time for a coffee and chit-chat with a friend. Portions are small and the pricing is a bit steep but the overall atmosphere and ambiance are great for couples, friends catch-ups, meetings, or soul-finding. Not much for families with children. The staff was polite and warm but the moment we asked for a bill, it seemed in a hurry to wrap up and get rid of us ( didn't liked that).

Perfect place to catch up with old friends we got ice tea and shaken cold coffee both tastes amazing. Ambience and atmosphere were perfect

Nice place for lunch when at Hauz Khas Village. Kerala dishes recommended. I tried taco, appam, stew, chicken and fish.

Coast Cafe is a gem in the heart of Hauz Khas. The restaurant serves Kerala cuisine, and the ambience is beautiful- the lighting, the furniture, they're all absolutely gorgeous! The menu features a wide variety of dishes, from traditional Kerala staples like fish curry and appam to more modern fusion creations. We had fried calamari and beer batter fish tacos. Really enjoyed the food!! The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. In fact, I'd like to specially mention the wonderful gesture of the staff- I spilled my drink by accident, and they were very kind to replace it with another. Big thanks to Coast Cafe for this! You won our hearts :) All in all, Coast Cafe was wonderful. And we're definitely going back again!

We have been going to this quaint cafe for a long time. Love the mushroom pepper fry, coffee and Malabar parantha

Malabar fish curry was awesome! Malabari parotha tasted like a joke version of lachedar😕Appam was decent. Service fast, food hot, rest room clean. Would recommend for the curry anytime.

Best for sea food, amazing service, on point taste, little pricey but you won’t regret. Must try, appam and churros!

We went to Coast Cafe for an early dinner on a Sunday evening, and it was truly a vibe. Beautiful interiors, great lighting, heavy cutlery, cloth napkins. The first floor is a cafe; dining is on the second floor. We ordered the mushroom and Avial side dishes, the vegetable stew and Malabar fish curry for mains, two portions of rice, and a Malabar porotta. This volume of food was just enough for three people; the portion sizes aren’t small, but they aren’t huge either. The vegetable stew was a little under seasoned and on the sweeter side, but everything else was perfection. The fish curry was cozy and coconuty; perfect comfort food when paired with the rice. The porotta was buttery and flakey and went great with the stew and the Avial. The mushrooms were substantial and very meaty. If you’re a fan of Malabar coastal cuisine, I’d highly recommend this restaurant.

What a wonderful hidden gem of a place Coast Cafe turned out to be! We went there and were pleasantly surprised to find a wonderful ambience and some authentic coastal food. We ordered the chicken tacos and fish fry and absolutely loved both the dishes. Of special mention are the tacos which were wonderful! A definitive must-visit place hidden in the HKV area of Delhi. Too good. ❤️👌

Great South Indian food (mostly keralite food) as always. Amazing ambiance and courteous staff. Mutton Sukkha, Appam and Fried Calamari rings here are my go to food.

Coast Cafe in Hauz Khas Village has a fine fine look/feel, they offer Candle Lights on each table which makes this place a perfect one for a romantic dinner night. They have ample options for Sea Food. Coast has an exclusive Balcony Area for a smokeup which is well lit with lights. We ordered some Mexican Tacos & they were good. Highly recommended, but in the evening!

Had Malabar fish curry, appam and many cocktails. The food was yum, and it is here that I fell in love with Gin and Kaffir Lime.

Coast Cafe is an interesting mix of Continental and Kerala cuisine, a combo that is highly unusual. They offer an all-day tea menu, which encompasses a delightful selection of crepes, sandwiches, cakes, churros, eggs and pies. Coming to their conventional menu, you will have plenty to choose from. Have at, Coast Café prawn moilee, avial, orange & arugula salad, original beer batter fried fish taco, spiced up lamb burger, chunky penne arrabiata and red snapper chili curry are among the best

This place is located in HKV(Hauz khas village). It's a cute little coffee/tea place. The decor is so cute. This place is great and coffee was very nice. I am a coffee lover and was totally impressed with the coffee as well as the interior and the location too.
I had a wonderful evening and would certainly visit again!

Coast Cafe is the hidden gem of Hauz Khas Village! I can go on and on about how amazing and consistent the food at Coast is. I would recommend you go for a nice lunch as the top floor has an abundance of sun in the day which just makes everything better. My go-to order: Malabari cokum fish curry, garam chicken curry and malabar paranthas along with a fresh orange and basil burst mocktail! In my opinion, you cannot go wrong with this place if you like/want to try coastal food.

Happy eating! :)

I came to this place with my family for lunch today ( women’s day) and I have to admit the behaviour of the staffs are so not justified . They embarrassed us for clicking pics . Even when we weren’t taking pictures , one of the staff just said , taking pictures makes our guests uncomfortable infront of all guests . That’s funny , because there were other foreigners who were taking pictures of themselves and no one insulted them . It’s so weird that your entire zomato and Instagram is filled with pictures of guests and what not , I m questioning myself now were they were embarrassed too. The food was excellent but insulting a woman on women ‘s day , what a courtesy .

I was here today with my family for women's day s lunch and I have to admit this place just ruined it.

The staff with the glass was so impolite. Firstly, they have put the reserved, just to show case they are full and once you are about to leave they ll remove the reserved tag and offer you a table.

On a women's day, the staff wearing specs just embarssed my mom saying no pics allowed, you are disturbing others. Well that's funny, because it's not a hospital that clicking pictures be not allowed. The staff could have informed it on the table, but instead chose to do it infront of all the guests while being clicked.

No wait, this is not the end. The staffs repeatedly warned us not to take pictures of us. Paradoxically, your insta profile has pictures of food and god knows what. The staffs chose to insult my mother and me in every floor. 1st floor even though we weren't clicking pictures but we're just climbing downstairs, the staff from nowhere shouted don't click any pictures.

It's really sad that even the food is excellent, the hard work of the chefs is of no galore, if staffs rebuke customers.
Would never suggest atleast any Indian woman to come here. Probably, they should mention on the board that we treat only foreigners well.

An excellent restaurant in a very lively part of town. Friendly staff and great food. a visit if in this area. A little bit pricey and the portions size wasn't that large.

Coast Cafe at Ogaan has been one of my few fav cafes for their coastal flavours. (Mostly non vegetarian!)

The first time I went here, I ordered their Pepper chicken dry!! And it has remained a constant! They serve 3 types of dips complimentary - Beetroot, Tomato & Tamarind. We always have it with beetroot chutney & appams.

This time, I tried their Beer Battered Vegetable Tacos that were an absolute MUST NOT HAVE. The veggies inside were all fried & there was iceberg lettuce.. it was on a sweeter side served with Sour Cream & Salsa & a lemon wedge! Not recommending this at all.

Their HOT CHOCOLATE is to die for 😍😍 It’s so thick & rich. Totally vouching for this one. It’s the original hot chocolate, not the fake one with milk in it! :P

We also ordered, Malabari Cokum Mixed Veg Curry that tasted marvellous with the Malabar Parantha!!! We had to order one more of this curry.

Our entire family enjoyed every bit of the meal!

Cheers to the team!

Its one of the best cafes i’ve visited this month. It provide a lot of good naturistic view which one cannot stop looking at😍
Moreover, they have loads of options on the menu which one can select from.
Just the only thing they add a lot of RUM to their tiramisu cake which taste a bit odd than regular one.
But still the best to go!😊👍🏻

Very simple layout spread over two floors and serving South Indian food for the most part. All the dishes we have tried have been very good and prices very reasonable. Service is straightforward and effiicient.

Best coastal food in Delhi!!! I love the appams and moilee and the tacos. I've visited this place a thousand times and it doesnt disappoint. Love their margaritas too!

It's a wonderful location for mainland sustenance sweethearts. It's situated in the hauz khas. In general experience, it was good. This place has a beautiful look, and seeing the overhang is just as great. The taste of the sustenance served was equally beautiful, the management was very good and the workers was extremely helpful and benevolent. I'd love to visit here again.

This place is an absolute treat to your senses. The ambience is beautiful, and the food is souful
We liked everything we tried. Just a little on the pricier side.

Brilliant decor and a fabulous place for brunch/lunch with all those plants and sunlight pouring in! Consistently delicious coastal food in South Delhi for anyone who likes curries and appams!

Finally visited the coast Cafe after hearing a lot about it. It didn't fail to amaze us with its fine ambience and amazing vibe. The kokum curry with Malabar paratha is a must try. We also ordered tacos, fish fry and some drinks on the side. The fish was really soft inside and crispy on the outside just how we like it. Pink ginger Mocktail could have been better since it had a really strong taste of ginger (going by its name). Overall, great place to hang out with friends and fam.
Looking forward to visit here again soon!

I was highly recommended for coast cafe from a friend and exploring different flavours of Indian food is always my interest. It is on second floor just next to imperfecto. I ordered;

Watermelon cooler: simply loved it.

Simple Prawn curry: I loved the curry but the prawn bit raw which left us bit disappointed.

Sudha Mutton fry: I had huge expectations from this one, but the mutton was dry and not fresh.

Garam curry Chicken : this was a good dish a Konkani flavours on point.

Appam: their soft and light but again cold.

Churros - finally a place which serves best churros in Delhi ncr. I have tried multiple places and always been disappointed but this time their were on point.

Considering all, I would have given 3 stars but churros earned another star. So, if you are fan of churros this place is a must for you.
Gautam S Kumar
The place did not have the ambience one would expect reading some of the reviews or seeing some of the photos. While the pictures make it look real spacious, it isn't quite so.

On to the food. We had watermelon and orange coolers, egg tacos, pasta and grilled chicken. The pasta had really nice flavours and the orange cooler was fresh. Everything else was disappointing.

I see a lot of reviews claiming the food's authentic South Indian and it is far from it. The price too is in no way justified. Neither the ambience nor the food is worth the bill.

Having said all that, I think the problem lies more with the rave reviews the place has been getting. There's too much hype and too little to back it up.

There are few places when you enter there you just say
Wow

And once you have food you take a big burp and saw

Awesome

That's how Coast Cafe is all about , you are silently welcome by Harish at 2nd floor who is not very expressive but when you will pull him for discussion he will tell you what's best to eat , when i said fish he suggested malabari fish and malabari paratha along with pink ginger drink along with green mint . Drinks were ok and can be improved but main course was awesome

I specially called Cyril their head chef and praised the quality of malabari fish he made for us , it was awesome , it was also serve with chutney of beetroot , tomato & gates and imli , beet root was the best one

Coming to ambience it's on 2nd and 3rd floor around sitting space of 80-90 people , couple of outdoor sitting for smokers , lots and lots of green plants around , they had given lift for elderlies and when I was there 70% was filled with international foodie , this has been around 5 year and my bad luck that I came today

Best of luck to owner and the entire team for creating such a warm ambience with lovely food , God bless you all , will certainly recomend to others

Tried this place for the first time and can't wait to go back already. Probably the best sea food in Delhi. I tried prawns and they were extremely delecious.

Coast cafe is a total bliss with the perfect ambience and food.i am totally in love with their cuisine and aesthetics.
From main course to desserts I cherished every bite of it .if you ever visit Hauz khas ,don’t ever miss the chance to visit coast cafe
I am surely visiting it again.
Highly recommended
We ordered:
Gluten free Belgian chocolate cake - 5/5
Watermelon cooler - 4/5
Garam chicken curry-5/5
Malabar paratha -5/5

One of my absolute favorite place for lunch date. Coast cafe looks absolutely amazing during monsoon season. The last time, I had chicken tacos which were light and tasty and tiramisu which was an absolute delight.

If you're not a fan of all those hookah cafes, and enjoy having conversations with a lake side view, this is the place. Located above ogaan boutique, Coast Cafe is a fancy, classy cafe. Chicken was super tasty.

Everything about this place is just amazing! The ambience, the service and especially the food is exceptional. I was a little skeptical about eating south indian food in New Delhi, but I was so wrong. We ordered the Kerala Chicken curry with appam and kerala parotha. Everything was just so perfect, the flavours, the texture was just bang on. They also served us 3 different types of chutneys, they were so unique and full of flavour. Really great experience.

Taste: 5/5
Ambience: 5/5
Service: 5/5
VFM: 5/5

Konkani food has got to be one of my favourite Indian cuisines and Coast Cafe does great justice to it. I love almost everything on their menu. And while their fish and prawn curries are to die for, one of my favorite dishes is the aubergine dish, which is a must have.

I had a wonderful experience at Coast Cafe when I visited a couple of weeks ago.

The interiors are soo pretty and elegant, and so is the little balcony outside with plants and fairy lights.

The food and the drinks were delicious. We ordered the beer batter fried fish tacos, eat-with-your-hands kerala grilled chicken and malabar paratha and they were all very nicely presented and tasted really good. The gin pomegranate cocktail and moscow mule were nice as well (except the pieces of ginger in it).

The staff were courteous, food service could be faster though. But overall I would definitely be visiting again.

We ordered take away from this place, which usually has some of the better Malabari food around. However, something was slightly different this time around. The veggie cokum curry was extremely flavorful and filling in itself, the curry a little thicker than usual. The parottas were still warm and were thick. The fish moilee was very heavy and extremely thick in the gravy, which gave it a different texture. The flavors were there, but it was far thicker than traditional Malabari curries. However, I’d surely eat here again, as the taste exceeds most Malabari restaurants in North India.

This is probably the most mature place in Hauz Khas and it’s also the best food. All of their fish dishes are amazing and the prawns are great as well. Drinks are also good and reasonably priced.
Vaishnavi Jha
Not so good experience at coast cafe.
I ordered fried chicken and veg grilled tacos
Tacos was not fresh and well cooked.
The chicken sausage was well marinated but the taste was not upto the mark.
Ambience was 10/10🔥
Service was also good.

My first visit to Coast cafe on recommendation, went on Tuesday late night dinner, it was absolutely worth dinning, well splendid evening, had balanced prawn curry after such a long time with Malabar parantha, decent cocktail, prompt service & polite staff. Strongly recommend for seafood lover..

We dropped in for a late lunch after reading other reviews and were very pleased we did. We really enjoyed the food, including the Malabari kokum fish curry; it was the best meal we had in Delhi. It wasn't very busy when we were there and the service was OK. We will look to return next time we're in Delhi.

We ordered Malabar Parantha with curry, and it was so delicious. Loved the service and food was amazing!! The cocktails are good too. It’s a good place to go out for a lunch.
Aprajita
This place used to be good, though this time I was shocked at the quality of food on home delivery. I ordered red rice and Malabar Paratha all of which was fine, however the fish dish was dismal - it was the Malabar fish curry. It tasted very rubbery, the gravy was not the right consistency, and the fish seemed very old. It had absolutely no flavour or taste, and even though we ordered two units to use the next day for lunch, of course anticipating a good meal, we had to dispose it off as it was inedible.

Makes great cocktails... blended to perfection!!! Am in love with their caprioshka’s... I also tasted their gin and pomegranate based cocktail which was refreshing!! For the food, we had mutton fry, prawn curry and. Veg cocunut curry... awesome is the word!!!! Great ambiance, great food... perfect experience!!!

Visited on a Sunday afternoon, this seemed like the place for a quite summer afternoon. Me n my friends were meeting to discuss some work ideas and this served the purpose well. It was peaceful with good crowd, no loud music, courteous staff and pretty decent food. Will visit again.

What a lovely place! If you love seafood/south Indian, this place will make your date night. They serve the best appams I've had so far and the prawn moilee so rich with coconut milk but perfect spice blend to cut through that richness. Their Tiramisu was also delectable. ♥️

Built over two floors, gives you the choice of seating and the lighting and ambience just add to the charm.
Can't wait to go back. :)
Malvikashetty95
WAY better than Mahabelly
The food was amazing (my South Indian soul was in bliss) as were the drinks.
They unfortunately also have an abundance of mosquitoes that will keep you company throughout you meal- Hence the 3 stars. Everything else is 5/5.
Enjoy!
Sukanya Chakraborty
Been here four times now and the love for this place never ceases! The food is simply superb! Order the eat with your hands Kerala grilled chicken and Kerala fish fry every time I go there. And the appams are like the icing on the cake. Tried almost every dish there, never been disappointed.
Anupriya Agarwal
It's a nice place with pretty ambiance and good food. The staff is well informed and gives a good good advice. We order fish as starters and some curry with appam. However I would request the staff to be courageous enough to tell other rowdy guests to behave since other members get disturbed.

Its situated in hauz khas. It is an astonishing spot for mainland sustenance sweethearts. This spot has a stunning feel and the overhang see is likewise great. The flavor of sustenance served was likewise beautiful and was served in an exceptionally stunning manner, administration was very great and the staff was extremely useful and benevolent. In general experience was great and I would love to visit here once more.

Must try their malabar parantha with sukha mutton fry, it is to die for ! Amazing coastal food, a refreshing change from the rest. Couldn't resist having two rounds of chowpati cocktail also, which was truly amazing. Ordered huge amounts of food for three, we still ended up consuming all of it. Little slow service, but the food more than compensated for it #happyfood #foodismood

The ambience is nice but the food doesn't taste as good as it should. It's not an authentic South Indian food place but more of a fusion and I didn't really like it much.

One of the best cafe for indian buds🤩. They have all western stuff with indian taste. My personal favourite is their martinis 🍸. They’re serving the best tacos in south Delhi. Always amazing for get togethers and chitchats. The food is worth the money. You’ll love it for sure 😍. Whenever you visit Hauz khas never miss this cafe trust me you’ll never regret!

A nice cosy ambience. If you want to try some coastal cuisine give this place a try. You'll definitely love it . We tried black pepper tossed prawns and mushroom pepper fry as starters and our garam lamb Curry, malabari cokum mix veg Curry with appam as main course. Curry was flavorful and appam was light like air. Overall a flavorful experience.

Wonderful ambience, excellent service and finger licking good food.

This place is beyond expectations and a great choice for a sunday brunch.

Love their mutton sukka, stew and the appams! Everything is so flavourful and made to perfection.

I also tried their banoffee pie and tiramisu, so good!

So it was my birthday and I was looking for a place to treat myself , that is when I came across this place . Firstly the ambience of this place is really good and specially I was fascinated by the stairs. The place is nice and cosy. I decided to ordered for a prawn moilee and appam as well as avial. It was really good and specially the prawn was so juicy and cooked very well. The Avial was also really good . The sangria was nice and light. Lastly I ordered for a tiramisu which was divine . I have tried it at many places but this one became my favourite. I would really recommend this place and would visit this place next time I am in Delhi .

DAMN CUTE PLACE! Amazing food and calming ambience! Love their tacos and Goan prawn curry! The staff is very friendly and they have speedy service! Really cute place to hangout and everything is nominally priced! One of my favorites in HKV!

Quaint little cafe at Hauz Khas Village that I recently discovered. The interior is simple and chic and the ambience is very soothing. Service was quick. I ordered the Mutton Sukkah, Malabar Parathas with Pepper Chicken Curry, Appam and a bottle of white wine. The food was delicious and the service is good and I highly recommend this place. Must Try.

One evening I went with my friend here..the view from the outside is OK..the inside decos is simple and clean..nicely maintained.. Since we were in a hurry we only tried tangy chicken satay and mushroom pepper fry in the starters..the chicken satay was extremely good..the mushroom was good too..we tried Moscow mule in the cocktails..it was good.. in the main dish we tried Malabari Kokum mixed veggie curry with appam..this was also good..the thing is there was no presentation in the food..the service was good and the food taste was also overall good..but i think they can improve in a lot many aspects..

This place is just WOW.
Though the food is on the expensive side but everything on the menu tastes so good especially Eat with your hands Kerala Chicken. RECOMMENDED!!

One of the only restaurants in Delhi to nail Malabar cuisine. Garam Kerala chicken curry with crisp appams is sure of bring happy tears and goosebumps. Another personal favorite is the sukha mutton fry with Malabar parotta served with chilled Hoegarden ❤ the cherry on the cake though goes to the simple minimalistic interiors with soft music not interrupting good conversations or a cozy date.

Spiced up chicken burger was amazing! Prawns salad was breathtaking! Cocktails 🍸 were balanced and tasted good enough. Ambience and crowd was sophisticated!

Lovely ambience, fantastic food & polite staff. My parents & I really enjoyed our time here. Kudos on maintaining the quality & quantity. Good job

Lovely ambience, especially for brunch. We ordered appams and curry - Coast Cafe Prawn Moilee and Rainy Day Stew with Grilled Chicken (both curries said to go best with the appams). Also tried out the "egg white appam" but would not recommend it - it was just an unnecessary frothy mess. Other than that, our meal was absolutely delicious!

Coast Cafe is undeniably one of the most authentic yet modern Kerala cafes I have eaten at. Situated above Ogaan in Hauz Khas Village, it has a lovely ambience, courteous staff, classy decor and a well versed menu. From salads and tacos to pastas and burgers, there's something here for everybody, not to mention 1 entire side dedicated to Kerala food.
Both times that I went I ate appam (pancake made with fermented rice batter and coconut milk) and the Malabari kokum (from the mangosteen family) mixed vegetable curry with coconut milk. I really enjoyed it the first time I went but the second time it lacked a bit of salt.
A good non vegetarian dish is the Garam Kerala Curry with chicken (or lamb) made with their in house garam masala mix and spicy coconut curry. The vegetarian and the non vegetarian curries tasted well together. A good way to eat this meal is if you add the curry inside the appam. I even tried the egg white appam which had beaten, fluffy egg whites on top of the appam; great for anyone trying to increase their protein intake.
A good vegetable side dish is the Beans Thoran which is just green beans tossed with mustard seeds, curry leaves and grated coconut, simple yet delicious!
Loved their beetroot chutney.
Their coffee is great too! Must go back to try other dishes their menu offers.

This restaurant is tucked away, and inside the quiet, calm ambience is amazing. The tacos were fantastic. Everything else was good, but didn't stand out.

I have been to coast cafe thrice now in the last three months. The ambience is amazing. The mains are pretty good. However, some of the curries are just the same with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options in it. The food here is quite delicious overall.

I have had churros here everytime I went. Apart from the first time, both times were a disappointment. I came here especially learning about the great churros. The second time was okayish. The third time was simply terrible. The sticks were uncooked from inside and one chocolate dip is just not enough.

Go here for the typical Kerala dishes which are tasty. Preferably skip the churros. This place is quite a nice one for a brunch, because of its lovely interiors.

Coast Cafe located in hauz khas, New Delhi is a amazing place for continental food lovers.
This place has a amazing ambience and the balcony view is also good.
The taste of food served was also lovely and was served in a very amazing way, service was quite good and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Overall experience was good and I would love to visit here again.

A friend recommended this place for a lunch meeting. We decided to head for the second floor which is more lit up and empty. The ambiance of the place is very calm and soothing (until some noisy people turning up!). The staff is very quick and efficient. We ordered prawns curry and a dish in fish with Malabar paratha and appam. The food was delicious! The ingredients were of the best quality and I couldn’t stop eating! Amazing place to have lunch and end it with a filter coffee and just laze around for a while. It’s a soul refreshing experience.

(Not enough pics of food because we jumped on it right after it landed on the table)

The best authentic Mallu restaurant!
All dishes were very unique.
Ambience - Perfect.
Location- No comments :P
Food - For sure 5Star.

Bit costly though.

Perfect place for celebrating a favourite occasion.

Its a type of treasure haul as it is the restaurant where you can find the most delicious food available in Kerala. Here, you will find many variations of continental and coastal Kerala food. If you have not gone to Kerala yet, then after eating at the Coast Cafe restaurant you will feel that you are still in Kerala and are roaming around there. This is the specialty of this restaurant.

Was looking forward to coast cafe since a while. Chose a cold winter afternoon to check this place out. The first impression was made with the ambience of the place. Well lit classy interiors with table for two, facing a small terrace garden made a perfect setting. Went for vegetable moilee with appam and Malabar paratha. The hot coconut based vegetable curry went extremely well with both. On the side there was egg kuttu parantha which was flavoursome. Took a pink ice tea which one needs a taste for since it’s green iced tea, my friend loved it but it surely wasn’t my thing. The staff was sweet enough to exchange it with a simmering hot chocolate on request(one of the best I have had till date). In total a great experience, highly recommended for not just South Indian lovers but everyone.

Best Konkani food in Delhi. Highly recommend Sukha mutton fry, egg appams, fish in kokum curry, malabar prawns. There alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages are yummy. Hint- Always ask for the season’s special, it’s usually amazing.

Upscale restaurant set in a soothing green ambience with AMAZING food. The Malabar paratha was so soft and the fish curry was just heavenly!

Ridiculously satisfying food, great ambience and service. Must try the fish tacos (spicy marinade is excellent), the lamb burger, prawn moilee, goan prawn curry, apams and the quinoa salad. Great flavours, consistent taste, and satiating portions make Coast Cafe an institution in itself.

The place was suggested to me by someone and since my friend and I were hanging out close by, we decided to visit. The place has a warm vibe to it. It’s cozy and friendly both and therefore perfect for a date or if you want to just visit with friends and family. Now the food, which was actually the highlight. We ordered for Malabar parathas, malabari cokum fish curry and sukha mutton fry - all of it was super delicious, especially the fish curry. This coconut milk based curry was creamy rich and flavoursome. The fish was moist and cooked to perfection. It’s a must try if you ever visit this place. The parathas and the sukha mutton served as cherry on top of the cake. For desert we had the the banofie pie which was simply yumm. We paid around Rs. 3000 which I thought was pretty reasonable for the quality of food, the ambience and the fact that both of us had a cocktail as well.

All in all an awesome experience. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Hey so the best part about this cafe is its location, you do not have to get into the main market.i went here for lunch with my husband. I was at peace there, it wasn’t noisy, crowd was good. I have had kalamari for the 1st time and the experience was good. Kerala cuisine is a must try. I loved the food and the ambiance of course.
Must visit ✅

Cosy , fresh, beautifully done up restaurant in Haus Khas .. right in the beginning itself so don't miss it ! I was super kicked about trying their churros and they were light and yummy ! Pizza was well prepared . The menu was interesting. Makes you want to come back again. Must visit for a quiet meal :)

Nice location at the entrance of HKV & nice ambience as well. The food was good but not anything to remember. Had vegetable tacos and calamari fried, the latter was good. We also had avial, a vegetable dish with aubergines (Malabari cokum) both good. The prawn moilee and the Malabari cokum fish curry were not up to the standard. Wish they had them done better.

The staff was courteous but we always had to call them up for something or the other -- specifically they were not attentive to the guests needs. Expected a more professional service.

We couldn't get enough of their Bloody Mary's, they were so delicious. We tried the fish and chicken tacos which were top notch. The chicken satay deserves special mention as well. Overall, a fantastic meal and I can't wait to go back there again 💓

Beautiful place to begin with, great ambience. The food is delicious and the service is on point.
The coffee options are really less and would love a few more options over there.

What a fantabulous place this is!

2/3 times that I have been to hauz khas I have visited this place. The beauty of this cafe lies in a lot of things:

1. Amidst all the loud pubs at Hauz Khaas, this place is a quiet yet sophisticated gem away from the all the noise.

2. The decor is splendid. Very classy interiors with spiral staircase and bordered with very pretty balconies where you may frequent for a smoke.

3. You may go anytime to this place. If it's snacks time you go and sit on their balconies, if it's dinner you can sit inside and have a quiet dinner.

4. Absolutely fantastic food. They provide really good keralan cuisine. Their masala prawns with Malabar parathas and appam are exquisite. Right amount of spicy. Along with all of this we had good old wine.

5. The service is good too. Very sophisticated crowd.

Location - 5/5
Ambience-5/5
Food - 5/5
Service - 5/5

Must go if you are around hauz khas.

I ordered from this place thrice now. Being a fan of malayali cuisine, this place has a nice offering. I ordered the grill chicken, palak dal, kottu Parotta, red rice. Everything was bang on. Though the fish fry was different as the menu suggests but I wish they had a traditional fish fry too. Overall clean and good food!

Some places never get old and this is one of that soothing place with warm vibes.

So yes when you look for some warm feel, great service, lit ambience and great conversation plan your day/evening here.

Their coffee morning and weekend long hours are always our A-Game. Now this was the first time I experienced pleasant evening wine and dine time.

So we started with GRILLED VEGGIES & EGG TACOS and indeed this was an apt start next up was their delicious, authentic and filling KUTTU PARATHA, so this was the amalgamation of authentic cooked chicken scrambled with Malabar parantha and this tasted heaven.

Lastly we had cheesy WHITE SAUCE PENNE PASTA, this tasted just average & actually have scope of improvement.

With their sparkling wine,Evening went right as expected.
Oh Yes their wine/liquor menu is quite elaborated and have quite good options to drool on.

Cheers team you guy rock it and keep rocking.

Top notch place and top notch staff! Ambience was wonderful and green, food was absolutely scrumptious. Staff was sweet and even agreed to shift our table elsewhere because of our noisy neighbours. Very interesting take on many everyday foods. 10/10 would recommend.

Situated just at the beginning of HKV is a cute little kerala themed coast cafe!

Firstly, the ambience be it indoors or outdoors are bound to make you smile. The wide spaces, the green plants, the comfortable sofas make the perfect setting for an afternoon meal.

My favorite of the menu is Espresso Martini - can go back every single time for this, can have ten of those and still want more. It’s magical and you will just love the way it tastes.

Grilled Fish and chicken burger are next thing on my list. The right amount of grilling and the cheese makes it perfect for me.

Worth the money in your pocket always!

I have visited the place a few times now and all I can say is that this is a mouth watering treat. If you like sea food and coastal food this is the place to eat. Fantastic food, amazing taste, having this taste in Delhi is an absolute delight. My fav are the fried Calamari, Malabari Cokum fish Curry and Sukha Mutton fry. Highly recommended but yes do make your reservations this place is high in demand
#coastalfood #bestfoodindelhi #foodlovers #seafood #seafoodlovers #delhifood

I recently went here for a light brunch.
They have a fresh ambience with scrumptious food. I tried Churros, Chocolate Cake and Iced Chocolate coffee (they customised it for me), I loved everything. Churros are a must try!

Love the food and it’s one of the best cafes I’ve been to. It has a charming decor. Order anything of the menu, almost everything is pretty good. Value for money

Have been here multiple times and this place has never failed me! The authenticity of their Kerala delicacies is just beyond the awesomeness. Have tried their red curry, Kurma , Malabar porotta and appam. All these have been brilliant as ever.
