We ordered the fried rice from this place and had an amazing experience. It was really freshly cooked and had a great taste. It came along with many accompaniments. I liked it a lot. It was fresh and healthy. Totally loved this place and is recommended for health freaks and asian food lovers. Must try place!

Another of the many good Pan Asian places that Delhi has now. We started with Spicy Chicken Dimsums and Prawn Tom Yum Soup. Both tasted amazing, the Dimsums were soft and juicy while Tom Yum was done perfect. Next up was Thai Style Chicken along with Drunken Chicken Noodles and like earlier, both these were amazing. The Chicken waa soft while Noodles were brilliant. Neat service and good ambiance.

Cute and cosy space! Delectable food! We had Philadelphia cream cheese dimsums (so good that we had another round), four season vegetable dimsums (I’ve had better), dynamite shrimps (great taste and portion), silken tofu bao (you might want to get some extra chili mayo on the side), vegetable khao suey (good as always)! In cocktails we got Ginger Roger (3/5) and Tea Punch (4/5) both gin based! They also serve Erdinger beer which is awesome!

Trust us, we don't need Chopsticks 🥢to eat Asian food.. We tried an Unbelieva Treiyaki Bao with exceptionally cooked Dim Sums and of course Drunken Noodles are all you need to get High on food. Rating: Teriyaki Bao - 4.5/5 You Dim Sum, You lose some: 5/5 Drunken Noodles - 4.5/5

Located in Block 8, the cafe is very conveniently located for anyone exploring the wonderful lodhi art district. If one ever finds themselves wandering around the many artworks of the lodhi art district, this cafe is a must visit. The service is super fast and the decor is brilliant and cozy. We went on a rainy day and it felt extra wonderful. Ramen and Vietnamese Iced Coffee are must tries from here

The food is sublime. The ambiance is indeed intriguing. Their alcoholic beverages need a little more alcohol and flavor. The washrooms have an interesting sign (s) that portray the stereotypical man and woman washrooms…I feel that in todays contemporary time..one needs to be mindful of the misogyny…for there are other genders.. Otherwise do come, visit, eat…my personal favorite is the pork bao.

Great flavour and variety. Large serving sizes and killer decor. Loved everything about it. Also, it isn't eye-wateringly expensive.

Yum food, must try their korean fried chicken bao, teriyaki bao, drunken noodles, Penang curry. Although was a bit disappointed by the portion size, and when I ordered a crab bao they didn't have the crab.

I was amazed by this place. I haven't explored lodhi road much and that's why I had missed out on this place. As soon as I opened the gate I was awestruck by the beauty and the ambience. The red color and the lights and the crowd as well. The staffs were courteous and they got us fritters with black bean jam and sambal which were too good. We could keep on going . We started with the drinks and we had ordered - tender coconut - thai lemongrass - this was refreshing to the palate To start with we ordered - black pepper pork bao- the presentation was really good and the pork was cooked properly and it was juicy and the peanuts gave that crunchiness. - fiery asian bbq chicken - this was also presented well and that too on a leag. It was fiery.. For mains we had -Udon noodles (chicken) - it was different and good - Nasi Goreng - You get options for skewers such as whether to go for chicken or pork - Tiger prawns - cooked well and fine For dessert we had - crispy honey fried noodles with ice cream - I had it for the first time and I just loved the crunchiness and sweetness. My experience has been a very cherishing one and I realky loved the service, ambience, food and the place.

Ping Located in the Posh and Quaint Locality, Lodhi Colony, Ping Cafe Orient is truly the Hidden Gem that has outshined the neighborhood with an outstanding dining experience. A Cozy Cafe that reminds you of Asian streets that serves Authentic food over an edge. This was my first visit to this place and I am so looking forward to my next visit there. Once you are seated and have a look around, it instantly reminds you of Downtown streets of Chinatown. The interiors have been kept keeping the same essence in mind. You will see lantern hangings down, Chinese calendar, wooden chair and table and few sofa chairs for families. The Bar is small and compact at extremely left end with a see through live kitchen on the opposite right end. Coming down to Food, I need to Highlight that they are my personal favorite now as they have served us Perfect, delicious and presentable food that's simply DIVINE. We began our Luncheon with their Recommended Mocktails and Cocktails and they were undoubtedly the best we had. We tried 2-3 drinks and out of them this one was the best. Thai Lemongrass Cooler: Just one word for it DIVINE. I haven't had such a refreshing, sublime and beautiful drink ever. The Lemongrass flavor was outstanding along with the zing of ginger and every sip made it taste better. In fact, it was addicted, wanted to repeat this drink. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Chestnut (crystal) Veg Dimsums with chives and burnt garlic Beautiful ❤️ to look at and mouth melt-in these dumplings were appetizing and tasty. The burnt garlic kick left a powerful after taste on the palate. Peking Gazebo Chicken Dimsums My personal favorite, these were pan fried and had a galze of a beautiful sauce that made it finger licking good. A MUST TRY. Thai Dry Chilli Chicken Being my favorite dish, not many restaurants have justified the Authenticity of this classic dish and must say that it's one of the best Dishes here throughout my dining experience. They have nailed the dish to the core. Dry red chilli, glazed onions in Beautiful marinated chicken cubes made this THE BEST CHILLI CHICKEN, I had so far. Spicy Korean Chicken wings The most difficult thing about our luncheon was to grade which dish was the best and this is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and SECOND BEST DISH OF THE DAY. Dark glaze of Korean sauce on fried Chicken wings made it HEAVENLY. They were juicy, crispy, sticky and DIVINE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. AIR FRIED Pomfret: This is what I will call DISH OF THE DAY. Spectacular presentation, this fish just couldn't have been beautiful than this. Coated in a coarse sauce of Thai herbs and seasonings, this fish was LOVE. Juicy, crusty, delicate, and flavourful, It's one of the finest dish. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Drunken Chicken noodles We paired this dish with Pomfret sauce and what a combination it came out. Flat yet thick, these noodles we're saucy and nice. Loved it over regular noodles which are available around. Jumbo prawn sizzlers A SEAFOOD lover PARADISE, this Jumbo Prawns are to DIE FOR. I am in dilemma as everything they served us was flawless. Cooked tender soft with burnt garlic and Thai herbs, this prawn sizzler was awesome till the end. I LOVED IT. Poached pears in red wine, with star Anese and scoop of Ice cream Little overdone for me, this was bursting will flavors. I loved every bite along with a scoop of ice cream and the spiced flavor. This place had a charisma and an OOMPH to it. We loved it to the core.

Each dish we had was top notch. Best SE Asian food I've had in Delhi. Recommend the Beef salad, wok fried pork belly, duck steamed rice and the pork Teriyaki bowl.

Went to this cute cafe this week for lunch. Was really surprised to see pecking duck in their menu and were surely going to try it out. We started with some soup:- Clear chicken soup with burnt garlic :- this soup was fantastic and a must try. For starters we tried Spicy korean bbq chicken wings- they were just superb and really tasty. We loved it. Dynamite shrimps - the shrimps were very fresh and serves with some very good sauces. We loved this one too. Smoked pork skewers - if you love meat then you will like this it does not have much spices. For main course we tried:- Drunken chicken noodles:- this one was on a non spicy side with good quantity of veggies and chicken. Pecking duck:- we were totally blown away to eat such good quality pecking duck in India. The duck was cooked perfectly and the sauces were very authetic. We ended our culinary experience with a special coconut and jaggery Icecream. We are not exaggerating but we have never ever tried such a tasty icecream ever before.

This place is a street style cafe having a vibe of Thailand streets. The vibrant and chic interiors ,English calssic music and bright ambience makes a person totally ecstatic. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. The place serves authentic Asian and the staff is helpful if you are not sure about what to order. The menu has extensive range be it vegetarian/non vegetarian(be it seafood)or if you are calorie cautious. We started our lunch with "Thai lemongrass" cooler which was highly refreshing, slightly sweetened and had a pungent flavour of ginger. The mocktails are freshly made,no use of premixes and it refreshes and rejuvenate. "Crystal vegetarian dumpling with chives and burnt garlic" Were opaque, presented beautifully in a traditional cane basket and were tender soft. Each bite had a crunch of chives and garlic was burnt to perfection to blast maximum flavours. "Peking chicken dimsums" The dimsums had a micro thin coating, handmade and so fine when it comes to finishing. Topped with homemade sauce, they tasted heavenly and were very light. "Dry chilli chicken" Very rare to find such authentic chilly chicken with minimal usage of oil.The bullet chillies were fire packed and chicken was tender. The sauces were apt and it was cooked to perfection. "Jumbo prawn sizzler" This is heaven for sea freight ood lovers.Such Jumbo prawns enter the table with crackling sizzling sound.Flavoured with butter, pepper and garlic, this one is a showstopper. "Air fried pomfret" Feather light and my personal favourite. It has Thai basil and herbs infused and is topped with a bit of sauce which complements it like hand and glove. "Dunken chicken noodles": These are named such because the theory is that these spicy noodles are perfectly accompanied with an ice cold beer and also that they are a great cure for hangover.Flat rice noodles were spicy, light and perfectly made. Coconut and jaggery icecream:Very exotic and yummy, this reminded me of bankok streets immediately.Simple flavours of coconut and jaggery chilled to perfection. This place is like an addiction. Each dish is well made and these people strive for perfection.

The ambience was extremely peppy and the experience was supplemented by the prompt service and good preparation of food. I tried the shrimp in dynamite sauce, chicken teriyaki bao, nasi goreng and nutella banana spring rolls. The preparation of the dumplings could definitely be improved and the accompaniments provided with the nasi goreng should be looked into.

It was a very quaint and authentic Asian cafe. Loved the variety of food they served. I had ordered cheese chicken dimsums and asian bbq chicken, both were really delicious. I am definitely going to try this place out for dinner sometime. Worth a visit when you're around lodhi road or lodhi art district.

I think this is a nice quaint place in the Lodhi market . Very nice with what he has done . The decor is eclectic and the music of the 90's which is divine .... not the greatest as I do believe 80's was .... You come here for the food ... he has played around with flavours ... and spices chillis and taste which have a comforting experience .... this would be one of my regular hangouts if I lived in delhi .... don't miss the Dynamite Prawn ... an off take from PF Changs .... but much better .... I could not even eat at PF ... try the pork in the Bao .... have fun

All those who attended us were so courteous; more importantly they were not just serving the food but were quite well versed with the basic knowledge of the dishes and this was quite impressive as they were actually able to advice on what we should take..some of best dimsums, hoisin Duck spring roll, roast pork skewers, red snapper biryani was a great take on Indian Biryani etc we had after a long time. Good job guys

Under the aegis of Dine Fest, tried out - Ping's Cafe Orient last night. A three month old oriental bistro, it is located next to Lodhi Sports and is in the same premises that Ploof used to be in. The decor is charming, the staff polite, hospitable and unassuming. The food was delicious. Light, elegant dim sums. The Ramen was interesting, but since I cannot claim much knowledge or experience of it, await someone who has to approve it. The beef mince with holy basil was zingy and the bamboo shoot, pok choy, cashew - stir fried vegetables were crisp and fresh. Portions were a tad small, so to be ordered accordingly.

The food is good but the service I must share is really bad. They charged double the bill by mistake and it's been more than month ,I have not got the reimbursement.

Pings Orient Asian in Lodhi Colony. The Most third class Restaurant in Delhi with shameless service, oily food, minute portions, misleading information from staff and really bad service. They need to either overhaul or close down. Not sure how restaurants of this calibre survive with such quality of good, where plates are full of leftover oil and such misleading service. When you place an order they say, its Jumbo Prawns, when you get them, its few tiny bits scattered around. Veggies are more grassy than vegetables. Small Portions and just dropped on the table. Sticky rice itself seen to wonder, if its sticky to stocky. Service Staff does not understand the Menu, they misguide you, tables are too closely packed together. It was not even a busy evening, with guess spilling over that one can think of an exception. Absolutely a Bad experience....Never Again.

Lemon grass cooler was an awesome mocktail and so was the food.

After lockdown we visited this restaurant to celebrate my mom's birthday. One of the best meals and restaurant service in recent times. Proper hygiene and safety measures were followed. The food, service and courtesy right down to the gate keeper needs a shout out. Ms Julia who served us was sweet and professional. Thank you Pings Orient Cafe for the best time. Must visit

I became a loyal customer to this restaurant after my first visit itself.

The prawns crisps, sangria, noodles and dumplings are worth living for.

The vibe of this place is absolute chill and you’ll see everyone chit chatting with their group of friends and not being nosy about what you’re upto (the music and food does that) ❤️
Stepped out for dinner after 5 months and it was totally worth it. Delicious food and courteous staff. Dim Sums are a must try.

With such a high rating your responsibility to provide perfection is higher. Your Raw Papaya salad had the raw papaya part right, but then that was it. The taste was flat. Granted the mini shrimp essential for making this maybe unavailable in India, but the sweet/sour/ tangy/ fishy/ chilli .....taste was totally missing. I'm sure it must have been one of those days, as your Khao Suey was outstanding. Good Luck. Stay safe

Went here on a Saturday evening. There were quite a few empty tables when we reached but we were told all tables were booked. We could either wait for 20-25 mins or finish dinner in 45 mins since the next reservation came in then. When we asked how their service was, the usher didn't respond for a while and then said it wouldn't be more than 10-15 mins per dish. We chose the latter option and got seated.

The waiter that served us was polite and courteous. We ordered the prawn tomkha soup - piping hot with just the right mix of salt, sweetness and sourness (it was raining in February and was quite chilly then).

Next came the lemongrass chicken, again, tasty and juicy chicken. Good portion size.

Next, we ordered the drunken chicken noodle, nicely made too.

We finished with poached pear with vanilla ice cream.

The food is quite good and leaves you wanting for more. We definitely over-ate here. Service is slow, don't go here if you're required to finish your food in '45 mins' (there were tables empty all the time we were there)

Would definitely go back here but not without a reservation.

Went to Ping’s for the first time and the experience was not at all good.
The staff is not at all good or helpful. We were there at 7:15 and only 3-4 table were occupied and rest was empty. They had given us very cramped and corner seat. I asked if we could sit on some other table, THE STAFF DENIED GIVING US TABLE AT 7:15 SAYING THAT THEY HAVE RESERVATION STARTING FROM 9. They have reservation for 60% of their cafe when it was empty. What nonesense
The food was not great at all.
We ordered
Chicken teriyaki bao : average m. It had like 2-3 drops of sauce as garnish n rest of the boa was bland

Teriyaki chicken mean in a bowl : it was not at all good. First it didn’t mention it had egg, i am allergic to egg. Who doesn’t mention main ingredients of dish ? That is basic. Plus it didn’t taste good
Not at all good experience
The Vegetarian Travellers
We had Stir Fried Veggies with Udon Noodles and Thai Spring Rolls along with Lemongrass Iced Tea and Thai Iced Tea.
Everything was perfect. From the serving to the food portions to the drinks.
We even tried Nutella rolls with banana for dessert.
Strongly recommended.

Whilst the food was good and the cocktail was very good. What disappoints is the attitude and miscommunication.
If an outlet doesn't want to offer discounts then it shouldn't opt to be in that game but if it is then it shouldnt change the meaning of discretionary at their convenience.
Their menu clearly states a Discretionary service charge. So when a customer tells them beforehand even before printing the bill and their server agrees after that if they come back stating that one can either choose the discount or the service charge- is unethical and in my opinion degrading the guest.
To top it the outlet was warm (temperature-wise) and we had to request 3 times for the ac to be sorted. They weren't too happy to solve that either.
Name of the corky server - arun

The highlights of my meal were a few starters I was aww struck by namely korean chicken barbeque wings , with a delicious sauce and perfect crispy wings. We tried the pork bao's which we had heard so much about. The pork was crispy on the sides and soft on the inside , stuffed with sauces n a bao. These are the two must haves in starters. Main course I had a red snappers fillet with garlic red light curry perfect to be had with steamed rice. In sweet I had a poached pear with caramelized walnuts and a big scoop of vanilla.

I captured some happy faces and those were my family's as they had a gala time here. We chose freshly pressed juices as this is a perfect weather for oranges, also fresh juices are a feature we hardly see in restaurants these days. Starters we had were chicken cheese dumplings which were moist and gooyey from inside and soft on the outside , piping hot. Don't miss the veg lumpia rolls which are cigar shaped goodness filling of veggies n cheese. Their portion sizes are good for two. Main course we chose chicken nasi goreng , with chicken satays, yum sauce , wok tossed rice and egg on the top. Sweets are a weak point for me but when you have Nutella banana rolls with rich vanilla ice cream who can resist? . Lovely experience here 🥰

When you dine in Delhi's finest restaurants, you relish certain flavours. I tried tried a number of dishes namely
Chicken sui mai :- soft and served hot ,also look like open dumdums with a lot of filling inside.
Chilly fried chestnuts :- chestnuts are crunchy in nature and the chef did the right thing by marinating and tossing them with chilly oil.
Pad thai noodles :- it's a meal in itself and is so saucey I didn't feel the need to add any more sauces. I paired it with a glass of coke and enjoyed to the late bite.
Sticky banana pudding:- a jiggly wigly soft sponge cake made out bananas with a dolope of Ice cream.

Must visit!

This place has such a great vibe! The ambience is fun, quirky and young. There many tables in a small place but so well placed that noone intrudes on your space.

The wait staff is very well informed, and can really help you choose with nice suggestions. The service took just the right time. We tried the fried potato, Khow suey - top notch

Absolutely delightful place !

Had a lovely lunch today at Pings. Fab ambience & courteous staff. The food was fabulous, except the Tom Kha soup, which albeit tasty was a little cold. That’s why the 4 stars. All in all, a fun afternoon at this hidden gem in Lodhi Colony Market.

Best Asian food in Delhi. Their dim sums, baos, mapo tofu etc were to die for. I felt like I had traveled to Thailand, it was that good!!!!!

Ping's Cafe
One of the top choices to people to like having asian cuisine.

It is located in south delhi. Decore is chick and elegant. I tried quite a few dishes out if which i really loved Ramen filled with gaint black mushrooms, noodles, spring onion and chicken chunks.

Kombucha- aha! I loved it. This fermented drink is better than any cold drink. Greattttttt!

Brocolli and almond dimsum - veg people.. you gotta try this out!

Nutella and banana spring rolls- fabbb dessert!

Overall, i will recommend this place for asian cuisine lovers.

Enjoyable but thoroughly forgettable meal. Polite, helpful staff and attractive interiors, though again, nothing really stood out in particular. The peach sangria was tasty - do try if you're looking for a drink recommendation. Will probably be back at some point in the future because the food was well prepared and reasonably priced but wish there was some reason to give a stronger recommendation.

Absolutely loved how crunchy and juicy the Korean Fried Chicken Bao was.
Ambience is really cozy and perfect for lunch with friends, staff is courteous too!

Loved the food! I visited it for the first time by finding it on zomato while I was in lodhi colony.
I ordered a Juicy Lamb Dimsum, Korean Fried Chicken Bao, Red Thai Curry with Sticky rice and a Nasi Goreng.
I loved each one of the dishes. I would love if the portion size if the dimsum was more since it had four small dimsums costing around 300-400.
The thai curry had the perfect taste. The Nasi Goreng was amazing and I totally loved the bao which had a sweet and hot taste at the same time.
Definitely recommend visiting.

So I went here for a lunch with my friends. Loved the authentic food they serve. Vegetarian and non vegetarian both are really tastyyy. The staff is also very polite, loved the service. And talking about the decor, it’s lovely, And It went so well with the Christmas theme. Loved it. Highly suggested.

After being recommended by a lot of people, I finally made a plan to try Ping’s. The vibe of the Café was pretty chill and the neon lights just added to the ambiance! We were served crispy chips with blackbean sauce and spicy sambal sauce. The menu looks extensive and they offer quite a variety. I tried -
• Ramen - The ramen was extremely bland. I asked the host if she could give me a spicy broth (which I read could be customised on one of the reviews on zomato itself) , she said that they could only add green chillies to it. Since I had made up my mind to try the ramen, I ordered it anyway. The fried garlic, chilli oil and previously served side sauces came to my ramen’s rescue!
• Bibimbap - We went on the recommendation of the host this time and ordered this dish. It looked pretty and extremely appetising. Just the flavours were not going well together in this meal in a bowl. The kimchi perhaps was too fermented because of which it failed to hit the mark. Overall we just couldn’t have more than a few bites.

The host noticed and offered to change our dish. She was sweet enough to replace the dish and we ordered a takeaway of ‘Teriyaki chicken bowl’. Now that was excellent! And definitely a must try!!
Overall, I hope they can offer some customisation to the ramen specially because otherwise there is hardly a difference between a ramen broth and pho broth (which again is on their menu).

Follow my food journey on Instagram at AllThatSheAte!🌸

Well you know how fantastic a restaurant is when its jam-packed on a Monday afternoon as well. This place is literally a gem when it comes to authentic oriental food. Firstly the ambiance, its just so cozy, lively and casual. The staff is so friendly and such a prompt service. Finally the food, its just to die for, every bite of every dish was so flavourful and each dish was so unique in itself.
As soon as we sat down, we were served some light crackers along with a few amazing sauces Black Bean Jam, Sambal, Flavoured Chilli Oil and Coriander Black Bean Sauce, the pre-appetizer was so fantastic that I couldn't wait for our actual orders to come.
We tried:

Pork Char Sui Bao: Visually the dish looked so appetizing, melt-in-mouth, sweet and sour pork belly (best pork I have had till now,the fatty layer of the pork was so awe-inspiring), encased in pillow soft, freshly steamed baos topped with sauces and crunchy peanuts. It was just heavenly to bite into those baos. Must try for every pork lover.

Fiery Asian BBQ Chicken: Thinly pounded chicken breast charred to perfection, well balanced combo of sweet, sour and spicy.

Nasi Goreng: I tried Nasi Goreng for the first time, and absolutely loved it. This Malaysian rice dish is a wholesome meal with tons of flavour. Seafood, chicken and pork fried rice with fried egg on top along with pork skewers (again the best pork I have had till now) and gravy.

Crispy Fried Honey Noodles with Ice-cream: Loved the different textures, flavours and temperature difference of this amazing dessert.
To conclude it all, Ping's is one of those restaurants where I can say for sure that every dish that comes out of Ping's Kitchen is absolutely amazing

Ping's Orient Cafe
Lodhi Colony Market
New Delhi

A stone through distance from the high fashion street of Delhi the quaint Lodhi Colony Market nestled this vibrant oriental cafe.
A bigger picture of the Orient is experienced through the menu touching every region of the Orient.
After our high street Diwali dash of exploring we ordered -
A Thai lemongrass cooler , a sweet tangy punch of refreshing taste served in a glass that reminds one of a roadside orient cafe.
Our Teriyaki Chicken Bao was a fluffy cloud meeting the well seasoned chicken, teriyaki flavouring coated the browned pieces of chicken inside and outside. The Mayo and Chilli sauce complimented it well. They serve it with an interesting assortment my favourite being dried soya beans and fried onions adding a chrunch to my Bao.
Our main course was humble a Drunken Chicken Noodle , flat noodles with a lot of notes of sweet and Chilli from the basil and spring onions ,making it the perfect fix if having it after a few cocktails. The cocktails menu is worth exploring over a leisurely time for a meal.
To connect with the different notes of the drunken noodles we ordered a humble Chicken With Chilli. To our surprise it blended so well with the higher notes of chilli in the noodles that we pushed ourselves towards dessert.
Our choice was Nutella & Banana Spring roll with vanilla ice cream. I was sold out on Vanilla ice cream ( my favourite ) and talking about the springroll ,a whole banana Nutella coated and deep fried without calling an ambulance we ended our meal rolled in Ping's love of serving love through food.

Looking forward for them to open their outlet in 32nd Milestone, a food journey worth the traffic!

#foodie #orient #asianfood #loveforfood goodfood #loveforasian #lovefororient #nonvegetarian #foodgasm #foodlover #asianawesome #foodisbae #goodfood #goodlife #asianishealthy #clickeatshare

Visited Ping's some days back. Quiet little cafe, quite popular though - people kept tricking in all the time. Nice decor, though a little cramped. We ordered the chilli fried water chestnut as appetiser and a Mood cocktail. The water chestnut was average as the covering didn't really enhance the chestnut taste. However the cocktail was good. A little overpriced in my opinion.
Will definitely be going back to try more of the very interesting menu.

Ping's Oriental is a very bright place full with positive vibes. As soon as I entered one person greeted me with a broad smile on his face. At a glance you find the restaurant very well organised one - neat and clean. You can make your eye contact with the chef while they are cooking South Asian Delicacies for you.
We started our food journey with freshly squeezed orange juice and Thai Lemon Grass Cooler along with Cheese Lumpia Rolls and Spicy Chicken Dumplings. No doubt the mocktails were very refreshing and starters were very delicious and authentic in taste.
We took slow Simmered Fish and chicken with chilli and mushrooms along with mushroom spinach sticky rice and Hakka Noodles. Both the dishes were finger licking and mouth watering.
We finished our food journey with coconut Jaggery ice-cream and poached pear with caramelized walnut and ice-cream. The deserts were really icing on the cake.
The ambience of the place is really awesome. The behaviour and service was more than satisfactory and the authenticity in the taste of the food was marvellous.
The place is a perfect 5 out of 5 scorer in my view.

"Ping's Cafe Orient" Just like its name, it does really gives a ping to your taste buds. Located amidst the busy roads of Ping's cafe Orient,13,Lodhi Colony,New Delhi. this place has a fairly simple and a basic set up but inviting enough for the passers-by who wants to pause for a bit and relax here to restore their energies n mood.!

To begin with, we ordered; Thai Lemon grass Cooler mocktail and Cheese Lumpia Rolls which served as a brilliant starter. It was a crispy thin wrap stuffed with goodness of cheese. And the cooler was ultra-refreshing with a lime twist to it and served with freshly crushed lemongrass on the top.

For main course, we decided to go with Chicken chilli and mushrooms. This was a great combination of crunchy cubes of chicken with button mushrooms in a spicy sauce. And a Chinese meal Is incomplete without Noodles so we ordered Hakka noodles an old classic favorite for any Chinese or even a non Chinese lover. The noodles were perfectly wok tossed with fresh veggies and the sprouted sesame added a kick to its smoked flavor.

And ufcurse, a meal is not a satisfying one if you don’t wrap it up with a sweet something. So to meet our sweet course, we thought of trying Coconut Jaggery Ice cream. And I can undoubtedly vote for it now. It had a rich and creamy texture to it and was perfectly sweetened. A lip smacking dessert which you will remember for a long long time.!

All in all it was a great experience at this restaurant. We had a soul satisfying meal and we were also very impressed by the humble staff who were guided us well through the menu and took good care of us.
Keep up the good work @ Ping's Cafe Orient. I would love to recommend this place to my friends. Do hop there for a quick and a happy Chinese meal. One is bound to have a good time.

The location is right behind my house. Its a good restrobar with good ambience and good food but overpriced. Very quiet place with lowest footfall because prices are at par with five star restrobar only.

Want a cozy and comfortable Dine?

Just heard from a friend regarding this cafe. Zomato rating was also good.
Decided to give it a chance ambience, verity and service all are more then good.
Food quantity is justified to its price and quantity. May be everyone is not agree with me.
The presentation of food was very innovative and upto mark for such kind of place.

A must try 👌👌

It was my first timenin the pings resturant. The taste of the chicken dimsum and the prawn dimsum was fantastic. service was excellent, super good no doubt about that. I order a ramen bowl of pork where there was only vegetables and 5 small pieces of the pork the was very less noodle on my bowl actually I can say it was like giving me vegetables and pork with little bit of noodles for name in order just to show off which i was very disappointed. With the portion n the quality of food. I wound dare to lie to everyone the price of the food and the portions of the food served is very unreasonable. Then I order chicken fried rice again thinking that at least I fill my stomach with the rice as the ramen bowl was a waste of it nothing to eat. But another disappointment thing happen again the chicken fried rice I order was like veg fried rice I did not even see chicken meat in it if I am not mistaken I hardly got to eat 3/4 small pieces of chicken along with my rice

Dear management team please don't make your guest feel disappointed in the first experience in your restaurant.

Lastly don't worry I will come back again soon

The food is good here. It will cost you between 2000 and 2500 for two people.

So I really feel Pings has depleted a bit in terms of flavours and quality - I’ve never had an experience thats anything less than a 5/5 here until a few times very recently.

Nevertheless, I do like the cocktails here and the Philadelphia Cream Cheese Dimsums are to-die-for!

Hope my next visit is as good as all the first few times I visited or I’ll be very disappointed as someone who recommended Pings to all my friends!
Smart Foods
The food and ambiance was on point. They served my kid with three bowls of salt crackers. Duck bao was amazing healthy to be more precise. Philadelphia cheese dimsums tasted excellent, my 4 year old was not the fan of it however he ate the udon noodles with prawns like crazy.
Watching my friends land up here every other weekend for some wholesome meals, I decided finally I must check the hype put myself. Unfortunately, I only had the time and luxury to order in. A while back I had ordered pad thai noodles from a restaurant which tarnished the image of this dish until I decided to give it another shot. Boy was I in for a surprise. I'm probably in love with the dish now thanks to these guys. Cooked to perfection, packaging on point and flavours all across the board were lighting my palate up. Definitely going to make the time to dine in if not become a regular take away diner.

What is the point of having table reservation on Zomato, when the cafe does not even take it into account! We stood outside for half an hour for a 2:30pm booking, and they kept following their own register system for seating people. It is an extremely disappinting experience, both on the part of the cafe, and Zomato itself. And I'm sure this is the last time I'm coming here, if this is how the system is going to be.
Pathetic!

They take pre booking and after that they don’t give you a table even after waiting for 30 minutes. Then they let other people the table. What is the point of reservation on this app.
So disappointing to face this on my Birthday.

Absolutely in love with this place. I went all alone just for the love of fish and what a delight it was! I ordered chicken clear soup and air fried pomfret in Thai basil. And what a good choice it was! The soup was so soothing and the fish was so well cooked. I relished it till my last bite! I left the place with a great feeling of satisfaction. Superb chef and I even conveyed him the same. And plus, the ambience and the staff made the place even more beautiful. I am planning to visit it anytime soon, and now this time it will be with my friends! Albeit, the fish was a bit pricy but I feel it was worth it. Keep up with the good work!

The staff was overall courteous and the food was great. Especially the philadelphia cheese dimsums. They’re a must-have. And the korean chicken bao. We asked for a non-alcoholic chocolate foam; however, they served us one with rum and wouldn’t accept that they had made a mistake. That kind of ruined our experience, even though everything else was good.

Had a great time at Pings for lunch.
We were 8 people and surprisingly thr service was quick.
The drinks and food both came in under 15 mins of order.
The taste was amazing.
Absolutely loved everything.
Definitely a must visit when around Lodhi.
5/5 for everything.

Delicious food. I tried a couple of things and everything was on point. Do try their sweet and spicy pork buns and you will not regret. The Korean fried chicken bao is simply heaven with barbecue sauce, crispy chicken and cucumber giving this dish an extra edge. And the choice of their dips will add flavours to already awesome food. And how can I forget the banana bread ice-cream 😍 I am running out of words here 🤩

Ping's is hot spot for casual dining. Serving the Asian cuisine, they actually mastered the menu. You can have all the specialities of the asian cuisine in the menu. Philadelphia cheese dumplings are my favorite here along with teriyaki chicken bowl.

Went to Pings for dinner on a Saturday night. Being a vegan it’s honestly such a pain to talk to people in the restaurant to ask whats Vegan, but Ping’s has Vegan dishes marked in their menu, which was super amazing and so convenient.

The food itself was 7 star, I order the spicy mushroom dim sums and the Pho Noodle soup. Absolutely loved both of them.

Went here for lunch. Cute little place with nice staff. Ordered-
1. Tofu Bao
2. Pad Thai
3. Kimchi Fried Rice
4. Virgin Mojito
5. Sticky banana pudding

Really good experience. Will definitely visit again.

I love Ping’s! It’s the perfect place to come for a light bite and a cocktail after an event at the Habitat Centre. The whisky based cocktails are delicious, as are the bao. Lovely service as well! I much prefer Ping’s to Guppy, where it takes forever to flag down a waiter for a drink!

Aaha! Finally a place that serves deliciously mouth watering Asian food. I have been here 3-4 times and it never ever fails to surprise me.

1. Prawn crackers with Sambhal, a seafood chakna 😜
2. PHILADELPHIA CREAM CHEESE DIMSUMS. MUST MUST TRY
3. Four seasons vegetable (you can skip in summer though)
4. Spicy mushroom dimsums, crystal prawn dumplings
5. Chicken teriyaki bao - moist and with the right sweetness of the teriyaki sauce.
6. Bibimbap, Ramen - soupy noodles are love. The taste and servings are good enough for two.

All the dishes here taste so damn good that I am really confused as to which dish to recommend and go for fist.
Great place with good interiors and even better food in quality and quantity both.
Surprise cocktails are the best thing.
Little pricey but should be given a try.

Really good Chinese food. They have a cocktail where you only have to tell your base and the bartender will surprise you. Food is really good!

Great food as always. But they really need to redo their interiors and upholstery. It’s becoming very run down. Compliments to the chef though!

A diamond in the rough, Pings is by far my favorite Asian restaurant in town owing to its quirky concept and lip smacking food! It’s not overtly fancy or over done, it’s just right with a little bit of spunk. The servers are polite and management is very warm. With respect to food, my personal favourites are the cream cheese dumplings and the khao suey. Asian comfort food without fuss at its best, I highly recommend Pings to anyone who hasn’t tried it already.

I love this restaurant. The food is very fresh and super authentic.

My favourites are their soup meals. The pho ramen khaosey and bibimmap

Can’t go wrong

5 stars for food

Beautiful Place in Lodhi Colony - Good Food, Good Ambiance

I tried this place few days back with a friend of mine during lunch hours....My best picks about this place - friendly staff, nice background music and delightful ambiance.

We ordered chilli baby potatoes as a starter and enjoyed thoroughly... Blend of spicy and delicious mouth-watering dish. Next, we tasted the Silken Tofu Bao, (a bun sandwich that was really yummy but also very light). I especially enjoyed the preparation and dressing over Bao. For the main course, we ordered my favorite Green Thai Curry with rice and it was delicious.

This is a trendy Asian joint in Lodhi Colony serving a wide variety of Asian dishes. The ambiance is cosy and attractive. The staff is friendly.

Overall, a great experience and value for money. Must try once!

Small quiet place in Lodhi Colony . Friendly staff , soothing ambience and nice background music . Food is wonderful too . Had lamb dim sum , Korean fried chicken bao , charcoal skewered pork and chicken teriyaki in a bowl . All were well cooked and delicious . Chutneys / sauces were delicious enough- to be eaten on their own too 🙂
Suggestions for improvement - less oil and juicer lamb momos ( like Yeti - the Himalayan Kitchen )
A small little eatery in the silent lanes of Lodhi Colony. A great place for an evening outing when you are in a mood for Chinese. The food is pretty good and it’s my go to place every month when I want to relax and have a good Chinese meal post office

Was looking for a place to satiate my hunger for an authentic ramen bowl and most food blogs recommended this place. So my wife and I end up here last night and for starters we ordered Cheese Lumpia Rolls and Lamb dimsums. Each was delicate, well balanced and flavourful. For main course we had but ofcourse the Tokyo Ramen bowl(Chicken) and a Vegetarian Sweet corn soup. Ramen noodles were so silky and the broth was mild as to not overpower any ingredient. But the highlight for us was the desert- Poached pear with caramelized walnuts and Vanilla icecream. After ages did we enjoy a sinful desert plate. Kudos to the team! We absolutely loved it and would love to come back soon!

I came her with friends. It’s in the heart of Lodhi. Good ambience and light music are ideal for communication with friends. Nice pleasant faces on the nearby tables. The bartender whipped us some really nice cocktails. The food was good. All in all a really fulfilling experience!!

I hadn’t been to Ping’s in a long time and decided to visit today for lunch. My last experience wasn’t so happy either. Primarily because the staff is stingy and rude. Extremely unaccommodating and arrogant, especially about Zomato gold membership. There is absolutely no regard for customer experience.
In addition, the food quality has considerably dropped. Had an extremely sub standard and disappointing meal. Tahini paste was substituted with mayonnaise while the rice in Nasi Goreng was overtly deep fried and tasteless. Pork skewers were dry and chewy.
Never going back to Ping’s for sure. Tread at your risk.

Everything about this spot is intriguing and decent. Be it the area, stowing away in a less continuous and barely packed commercial center of lodhi settlement, still in the core of the city. The menu is energizing and very much curated. Their baos are excessively great. Prawns were crisp and delectable. Love the feeling.

Had to meet a friend in the evening and he recommended this place as be had explored it just a few days ago.
So, entered and i wasn't surprised with the interior as it's the same vibe that you get at any such young cafe but then it was also warm and welcoming.
we chitchatted(CC)-sat-CC-ordered-CC-ate-CC-CC-CC-paid the bill and left and all this while we never got the look that you are occupying our table - do you need anything else?
The food and drinks were refreshing on the palate and had a non spicy feel to it without compromising on flavour....
we ordered
-Vietnamese iced tea - liked it, though haven't had it before so no set standard to compare it with.
-Ping's fashioned - drink was really refreshing, though too strong for my taste buds so got it diluted
-Tofu bao - this i absolutely loved, the way tofu was prepared
-Mixed vegetable gyoza-hmmm not much to talk about as it was only fresh vegetables in dumpling cover
-Pan fried chicken lemongrass - couldn't taste the lemongrass, it was used as a part of presentation, maybe that's how it's supposed to be. But chicken was well prepared and tasted good.

As a whole the place gives a good feel and you do end up having a good time(provided you have good company).

if you are around and want to try a simple, cozy cafe....you must go here and it's normally packed in the evening!!

Food - 3/5
Presentation - 3.5/5
ambience 3.5/5
drinks 4/5
FVM 3/5
Service 3.5/5

would i go back....yess..if i am around and need a place to sit and eat...yess!

The hospitality is so bad. We booked the table at 9 and when we reached there at 9.10 they said table is not available we have to wait..for the fact we could see that there were 2 tables available but he was just not ready to give it to us. Moreover manager was extremely rude to us and it was very humiliating we are not going to that place again ever 👎
Located in a quiet part of Lodhi Colony, the restaurant is very unassuming from the outside, once you get in the decor and ambience is very nice and funky.
We ordered an assortment of dimsums- all of them were very well cooked, the cheesy chicken is highly recommended so is the pork bao. The hot and sour soup was also good just a tad bit salty.
Overall really good food and both the food and beverages are reasonably priced which is quiet refreshing in Delhi.

Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a spot of asian.

Everything about this place is interesting and nice. Be it the location, hiding in a less frequent and hardly crowded market place of lodhi colony, still in the heart of the city. The menu is exciting and very well curated. Their baos are too good. Prawns were fresh and tasty. Love the ambience.
