Review The All American Diner - New Delhi

I absolutely loved spending time at the lovely American like diner. Their breakfast options interested me the most. I enjoyed blueberry pancakes and cold coffee for my breakfast. The staff is generous, I asked them for eggless batter for the pancakes and they prepared a batch for me. I went there again for my dinner which was scrumptious. I tries the tomato soup, a salad and a choco lava cake for dessert. I’d recommend this place to all, specially for their great chilled coffee, garlic bread and pancakes.

Perfect place for a heavy sunday brunch. We tried the Egg Benedict - amazingly juicy and buttery Chicken and bacon burger - one of the best bacon burgers, must try for bacon lovers Classic chicken and cheese burger - This one was also good Chilli dog - didn't like this much (it had beans in it for some reason) Overall it was too good. Must try the Egg Benedict

My go to place for Sunday breakfast. Perfect menu for people who like European taste. Good coffee and prices are reasonable.

I was tempted to have Indian breakfast but decided to go as American as possible. I had the soya steak burger which was really tasty. I find a lot of local burger places don’t have sour pickles for their burgers but this one did and it was perfect for the American style burgers. The I had to have the waffle sundae. It was pretty good. Sweet and refreshing. Creamy ice cream melted on a warm waffle definitely hit the spot

What can I say about this place that hasn't already been said. This is such a great place with awesome lip-smacking food. I usually go for breakfast here, sit outside and enjoy the weather. Their milkshakes are really great and must try especially the mango chili shake. Omelets are great too perfect in texture and tenderness. Also do try their mushroom pot pie. For me, it is the absolute show-stealer. 100% recommend this place.

Went to Indian at the sixth and I think I found the buffet amazing. There were multiple varieties in veg and non-veg. Although loved the starters better than the main course. Drinks were okay I ordered citrus fruit punch from mocktails and it tasted like 'tang' for real. Experience was nice. I digged in salads of multiple kinds but there were chaats too. In main meals they had saag, laal Maas, chicken curry, fish fry, pasta of two types, two potato dishes, etc. The staff was kind enough to give us hot chapatis. They had tea and coffee as well. The dessert corner was obviously my favourite however would appreciate more if the there could be better selection of fruits (excluding pineapple). Dessert corner had a cake, orange pudding, mousse, and some other kind of finger pastries. All of them tasted amazing no doubt about that.

It has a great ambiance, gives out a very western vibe. The service was a bit slow, could be because we went really early, around 7am. This place is a nice option if you want to have an early Breakfast. Seems a bit over priced though. Pancakes are a must try!

Good place to hang out but reservation is an issue for indoor sitting. You would have to wait for 30 to 40 min. In case you are comfortable sitting outside it’s fine ( provided weather is good 😊) Food is good and all American cuisine options

A great place to have breakfast and if you want to have the classic American diner feel. It's located in Indian Habitat Centre and a little tough to locate for a first timer since the Centre is so huge! The interiors are done well and gives a typical American diner feel! So I whatever I ordered is in the caption in the pictures. The burger was average, nothing special to it. Got more of an Indian feel rather than the Mexican ! Sandwich was good and fulfilling. Fish fingers are again nothing special. But! The chocolate malt shake is one of the best chocolate shakes I have ever had . It is Heaven! This is a definite MUST order if you ever visit this place. And only because of the shake , I visited this place again the next morning for breakfast . The breakfast was good . Overall it's a perfect ambience for a Sunday breakfast! But be there by 7-8 or else you will find a heavy waiting! Cheers!

Great place for a variety of food specialties! There was a change in ownership, so the place is now known as "All Habitat Diner." The vegetarian burrito and house fries with cheese are absolutely delicious. Also, the iced tea was great. The service provided was amazing.

Had a great time here after ages, eating the old favourites such as Sunrise Skillet. Food quality has remained the same over the ages however so has the service standards wherein it takes ages for food and drinks to be delivered.

It has been renamed as the Habitat Hub, so search it using the new name. Eating here is an experience altogether. The ambience of IHC, the service, the food and the presentation lived up to the expectations.

Absolutely loved my visit here. The staff is courteous. We were welcomed by chef and guided for our table. The have a good siting area with soft and cosy sitting. Over all entire food was good we tried a lot of options. Lamb burger is something you should not kiss and if you take alcohol do try mint bailey something you should not miss at all..

Recently went to this hidden gem in Indian Habitat Centre. Beautiful ambience and great hospitality is their USP. We opted for their Vegetable Confit which is basically veggies sauteed in marinara sauce. A really good option for those on a healthy diet as it is quite tasty too. We paired this with a cappuccino. We had a hard time in deciding the burger and opted for the chef recommended chilli bean burger which was not a bad choice at all. It had a really good presentation complemented with some potato wedges and a portion of salad. In beverages, we opted for the Traditional lemon Iced tea and  Iced cappuccino both of which looked good and tasted even better! We rounded up our meal with a couple of desserts. The blueberry cheesecake was absolutely melt in the mouth stuff. The pineapple upside down cake was presented very well and the taste was also very good. Overall, really good food. Would surely visit this place again.

The All American Diner has a great ambiance and it definitely is very retro and american it its sensibilities. It opens early and is one of the few places marketed for its breakfast. The food is average though, my friends and I mostly go for just the feel of the place and it’s located. The prices too are steep.

I had a good dinner at this café yesterday. I must say they are taking good care of Corona precautions. <br/>I was only disappointed with the special ice tea, it was way too plain. Rest of the food was good and healthy.

I have been to this place once while at IHC but I would def want to go here and have an elaborate brunch .. totally love the vibe .. what I had was a fish steak which was great; and a chicken spaghetti .. the taste was really good..

Love love love this place!! A perfect, go to place!! Service is a little slow but it's totally worth wait!!! The bartender made us the best drink upto out liking. Recommendations are good. However wait time is a bit much and seating can be increased to cater to that. But all in all, Best Place in Delhi..

Delhi’s all time favourite- The All American Diner. It is located inside the Indian Habitats Centre which in itself is a great place to visit. The place has got amazing ambiance and perfect vintage feel to it. They’ve also got outdoor seating which is great. Went there on my Birthday eve and it was great. We ordered Peanut Butter Shake, Penne in cream cheese sauce, mozzarella sticks, Grilled chicken caesar salad and Buffalo chicken wings hot and spicy. Everything tasted really good. A must visit place !

The All American Diner is located inside Habitat Center which in itself is a good place to visit. The eatery lives up to it's name with a perfectly sophisticated vintage American interior and loaded menu. I have tried a handful of desserts and coffee hear and absolutely loved it. I am definitely going to explore some more items -- will update the review. A must visit!

I went there on the day of holi so I easily got the table. This place reminds you of the cafes you see in old Hollywood series. The interiors are done flawlessly. The place is totally Instagram worthy. <br/><br/>The menu was extensive. I had ordered waffle sandwich, disco fries and spaghetti. The portion size was enough for two people and tasted great. Though I felt the prices were a bit higher. <br/>Rest everything such as ambience, staff and service time was really up to the mark. <br/><br/>Highly recommended place. <br/>Keep up the good work ❤

It is always good to start a day with healthy and variety of breakfast. AAD has all a person needs to have in morning with variety of platters, juices, fresh fruit bowls, coffees, muffins, cakes etc etc....

Located at a very beautiful place that offers some authentic american breakfast with some really good ambience. All the items on the menu is really good and tummy filling. Been there for quite a few times now . I just love this place.

This has been my favourite ever since I went thwre for the first time.<br/>I am a vegetarian, so didn't have a lot to opt from the menu, but it the portion size will satitate you and if you are lovwr of meat, sausages etc (sorry for my limited knowledge on non veg) you'll love it.<br/>Nice combos of breafast menu.<br/>Coffee in all variations available and their shakes are even better than those of Starbucks!<br/>I love their tiramisu shake the most.<br/><br/>Just that its always crowded, so dwlivery could be slow, but the music won't let you feel that its been ti mne from you placed the order.

Riverdale and Archies led me to this place. I was looking for an American diner like I saw in these series and found this amazing place.<br/>The ambiance is pretty lit. I started with a platter that had wings, nachos, prawns and a scrambled egg breakfast platter. Along with that I had a coffee.<br/>The meal was heavy and satisfying.

Chocolate Silk Pie was okay as well!

Fantastic breakfast/brunch place! The retro interiors and music give a genuine feel of an American diner, so 10/10 for the look and feel. Coming to the food, we ordered Belgian Waffles, Bacon & Eggs, Cheeseburger, Non veg samplers and Spicy BBQ Cheese Dog. <br/>The quantity was enough for four people, and the quality of food was good. The waffles were warm and fresh, and the cheeseburger was spicy and rich in flavour (recommended). <br/>Ordered 2 shakes, Cocoa shake and Walnut shake, both were good in taste and quite filling. <br/>Would definitely recommend this place for a Sunday outing! Worth the time and money.

So, I finally visited this hyped place of Delhi which offers really good vibes and food is also good, but this place is actually quite expensive. Ambient perfect, food good.

Lovely ambience and great breakfast buffet

A peaceful workplace with a huge American breakfast menu to choose from. Loved their Irish coffee and Mint coffee. You can customise your coffee too as per your taste.

This amazing coffee (aalok special coffee) was made by Alok ji and Devender ji. Special thanks to both of them.

Absolutely love the ambience. However, beware- there's usually an hour's wait here now a days. Waiting time can go over 2-3 hours on public holidays, Saturdays and Sundays.<br/><br/>I was a little disappointed with their breakfast buffet though as it doesn't have an extensive menu.

After being long time on my list,finally went here. It’s great place fr breakfast. Have awesome options for healthy food. Though its super costly but ambience and food makes upto it. Staff is quite courteous and place is good. I tried their salad ceaser, three fold omelette and iced capuccino. It was all yummy.

Huge waiting time, terrible service, and utterly disappointing food

One more Saturday and a restaurant. The All American Diner restaurant is located inside huge building (ground floor) of India Habitat Centre (IHC) in Delhi. It is a small cosy place with a drink table & sofa-table seating arrangement. Interior of the place have retro American look and feel. Since it was a Saturday so we had to wait for 30-45 minutes for table and while waiting for the same we placed our order which included Long Island Iced Tea, High Volt Thunder, Sunrise Skillet & Non-Veg Sampler.

Had a great Experience!! Food was satisfactory and the service was good. Server Alok kumar did a great. job

One of my favorite places for breakfast. The pancakes, waffles, burgers, scrambled eggs everything is amazing. The only concern here is the service, but the staff is friendly so the wait gets a little bearable. They have a lot of breakfast combo options, so everyone can order their own plate and share. Banana split is a must try.

I went to this place for breakfast early in the morning, the ambiance and the outdoor seating is great! I had ordered stack of multigrain pancakes and vanilla waffles. Both of them were served with a variety of syrups and was the perfect option for morning breakfast 👍🏻👌🏻

Beautiful place, amazing retro decor. Perfect place for brunch and dinner. But be ready to wait till an hr if you go a weekend. But the food is totally worth it. Loved the iced coffee and omelette. Will love to visit again.

Morning meals are not normally everyone's sort and individuals in Delhi for the most part go out for early lunch. <br/><br/>However, changing the dreary routine is rarely terrible, isn't that so? <br/><br/>The all American diner is a spot which has been on my "go to this spot list" since for eternity. What's more, I am in reality glad that I at last made it on Republic Day as I suspected it is perfect to visit a social environment, yes that is the place it is located! <br/><br/>The cafe has a retro American theme simply like you may have found in some American films or series, it's a similar vibe all through. <br/><br/>The arrangement in faux leather in red and the Wurlitzer jukebox playing a few works of art just helps me to remember some extremely old American motion picture. <br/><br/>You can settle on the Buffet breakfast or you can go for ala-carte.. <br/><br/>The spot is perfect in case you're in the state of mind for shakes, burgers, pancakes and waffles. <br/><br/>This is what I requested, <br/><br/>Cappuccino, wicked shake, fruit salad, Belgium waffle and a spicy cheese toast. <br/><br/>Completely infatuated with the waffles, much the same as I needed progressively golden and crispier! Furthermore, the shake was fantastically astonishing . <br/><br/>Cappuccino was actually how I requested that they get . Ultimately, the hot cheese toast was so solid and steady. I could detect enhances in those little bits of toast so superbly!

This place had been on my list since forever. And I'm so glad I woke up early morning to reach All American Diner on time for a crazy breakfast spread. It's unbelievably awesome.<br/>I ordered Pierre's French toast combo and rock n roll Cappuccino.<br/>The quantity, quality and service is outstanding.<br/>You cannot miss this when in Delhi.

Forced to give 1 star these guys deserve negative, fooling people by advertising morning buffet @ 625 from 7am to 11am but in reality there is no morning buffet. The buffet actually starts at 11 am. Had to wait for more than an hour after reaching at 8:30am. The price of buffet is actually 790 with 18% tax and 10% service charge which comes around 1000 per person. Better to in 5 star restaurant

Its located in a beautiful place and the options are quite good. I think the pricing is fine as per the quantity per their service charge is quite high. I ordered the regular breakfast platter and it was amazing.

Been there recently and food was loved by my entire family. Just that we had to wait for a good 40 mins before getting the place...but overall a good experience

After waiting for 1 hour 15 min we finally got table after we spotted one free. Service should be improved specially when we paying 10% for service charges. We still paid service charges out of courtesy and new year but it could have been convinently avoided.<br/><br/>Coming to food- I ordered Spicy smoothie and 1001 Dalmation which were good and heavy. Chicken pot pie was very well prepared and tasted good. Double decker burger was something I liked the best. Overall 4 star rating for food.

Having been to this place a number of times, it's surely great for an occasional visit, but not exactly my go-to place for anything except the breakfast buffet. The buffet has a generous selection of food, with both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes being quite tasty. Coming to the specific food in ala carte, I'm not a fan of their pancakes. The other dishes and platters are enjoyable and pleasant. The scrambled eggs are especially delicious. The shakes are indulgent and tasty. The layered cappuccino with Irish cream is amazing!

I visited The All American Diner after 4 long years along with a friend for a decent lunch. Firstly we were asked to wait for close to 10 mins in order for a table to clear up which was not a problem but we had to remind the staff twice that whether a table has cleared up or not. We were asked whether we could wait outside we agreed to an outdoor seating arrangement, but their service was extremely slow. We were shifted inside the diner on account of the chilly winds, this entire process took up 40 mins, which was still okay as long as we could eat something. The staff was quite courteous. The food was okay, we had no qualms with the food as the portions were satisfactory. Now the biggest letdown on account of which I'll never visit this diner or will suggest anyone to visit this place, is the outrageous taxes these people levy. Our order was close to Rs 1500 which we expected but 450 rs for different kinds of taxes is absolutely unacceptable. Would have really asked the manager to break down the entire tax structure to us and these exorbitant prices if we were not short on time. All together this was a completely disastrous experience, will surely never visit this place again anytime soon.

This place was on my bucket list since long. Planned to visit All American Diner last Sunday.<br/>Had to wait for more than an hour due to heavy crowd, but the wait was worth it.<br/>I must say that the food is really very good. Chicken Pasta was the showstopper cooked by Ms. Amrusha (I hope the spelling is correct 🤞). I really loved their burgers as well.<br/><br/>The waiter, Mr. Shubham Gupta, who was serving us was REALLY VERY RUDE AND ARROGANT. I would like to suggest the management to train Mr. Shubham Gupta how to behave with customers. Being in IHC feels great and has a very good vibes and so is with The All American Diner.<br/><br/>It has a perfect setup, suiting its name and the food offering is good too. <br/><br/>In our last visit around breakfast time, we had French toasts and Cappuccino which was nice and the coffee was strong. <br/><br/>Eating here has always been a good experience.

The food was good overall..but the service was really slow..they forgot to serve us with bacon sides and we had to remind them twice for it..the location is beaitiful and the ambience is very warm...

Its not at all easy to find food early morning..!! Specially when you do a night shift and get free by 4 in the morning..!!
