Nestled in the heart of Connaught Place, Desi Villagio offers a unique dining experience that transports you to a distant era. The restaurant's ambiance, adorned with antique pieces such as stone coins, stamps, and telephones, exudes an old-world charm that complements its theme of a rustic village. Upon entering, we were greeted with Jaljeera and masala papad. The kebab platter presented to us was having hara bhara kebab, gloti kebab, and the exceptional crispy kebab. Each piece was meticulously crafted, bursting with flavors. Moving on to the main course, the dal makhni stole the show with its perfect balance of richness and creaminess. The paneer rogan josh and chaap rogan josh brought a spicy twist to the meal with bold flavours. However, the amritsari kulcha and lacha prantha outshone the choor choor naan, which lacked the traditional filling. While the naan and kulcha left room for improvement, the overall dining experience at Desi Villagio was really great.

A place in the city which takes you back to the village life & I really Like The Theme of this Cafe. First They serve you with welcome drink which was really great. Then I ordered Tandoori khumb mushroom, Afgani chaap,Paneer rogan josh with Laccha Paratha all the items are Really good in taste. At the end I ordered a Dessert gulab jamun with Rabri That was really amazing. Overall it was a good experience. Must visit if you love desi vibes

I recently visited this village themed restaurant with a typical Desi vibe. Food is quite delectable from starters to main course. And a Welcome drink is complimentary along with some Papad. I ordered multiple items like Bharwan Golgappe, Galouti Kebab, Mushroom Masala, Biryani and everything was up to the mark. I was looking for the Desi Village theme restaurant near my office. So I got to know about this place and then visited this place in CP. I was welcomed with a chilled shikanji and spicy papad and it was charges free. Then I ordered paneer tikka, chaap tikka, Chaap Rogan Josh, Veg Biryani, Mango mastani lassi, and Gulab jamun. I loved my entire meal from starters to my desserts. Atmosphere and ambience was awesome. It's little expensive but worth money once you have your meal there. It was satisfying for me. They serve you 6 different types of pickles with the main course. If you're looking for something different and unique then this is the best place to enjoy with your friends, family, or birthday celebration.

People please avoid going to Desi Vibes in CP as I recently had my very bad experience there. I suffered through a stomach infection and food poisoning. I just ordered a rara chicken with tandoori roti and I am wishing to sue Desi Vibes now. As I discussed with other people , they told me the same that Desi vibes in CP doesn’t serve fresh and generally use the old kept non veg. Even I feel the variety of pickles they serve were also not fresh. Hence , resulted in my bad health. So either it’s coronavirus or not, just don’t visit Desi Vibes in CP.

So after very long we went to this place in c.p. We ordered achari Paneer tikk in the starter which was so delicious. After that we ordered dal makhni and tandoori roti in the main course which was also yum..! Located in a very prime location, Connaught place, this place has very much desi vibe as its name suggests. The interior is completely a village setup, which will attract people the moment you enter the place. After settling down, they will serve a welcome drink in the clay pot, which adds to its charm. The welcome drink was good. Coming to the food we ordered, murgh afghani as our starter, and, it did not disappoint us. Murgh afghani was so soft and perfectly cooked. The quantity was good comparing with what we paid for it. It can be a must-have if you are visiting this place. Next, we ordered 'chef ka man pasand parantha', which consists of chicken, mutton and cheddar cheese. It was heavy and one or two will be sufficient for anybody. They serve different kinds of pickles as an add on with the parantha which adds some extra taste. I must talk about the service which was very prompt and fast. I would recommend this place if you are around Connaught place and if you are fond of north Indian food like me. Food- 4/5 Ambiance- 4/5 Service- 4/5

We went as a large family group for dinner. Reservations were made through Zomato app. The resturant called us in affernoon to confirm same. The seating is comfortable and cosy. Ambient sound is easy on ears and allows conversation. The decor is rustic Punjabi with old stamps, daggers, earthen ware. Staff is courteous and attentive. We ordered vegetarian food. Service was reasonably quick. For 12 people, are bill was around 8k.

There’s no proper management out here. There’s a waiter who acts as the manager of the place and is pathetic when it comes to customer handling. When we reached we were told that there’s a waiting of 30 mins which we agreed. We told him that we are with a 2 month old baby and requested him to write down our name to which he said it’s not required I’ll call you but to our surprise he kept allowing the persons who came after us. Request the management to check on the same. Coming to the food as our mood was spoiled we really didn’t like your food at all

Very nice set up in the outer circle of CP. The theme and ambience is awesome with some collection of antique utility equipments used in rural India. The walls are covered with hand paintings of various village crafts or studded with various antique tools. Starting from musical instruments to old locks and even few old public telephones. The staffs are very cordial and the food is really worth the money. I specially liked the boneless boti kebab and the fish curry among the ones that I ordered. They also offer a collection of pickles among which a sweet baingan chutney(egg plant/brinjal relish) was unique. However, the best one was the lehsan achaar(garlic pickle).

If you're looking for a unique and #hattke place to visit, this is it. The ambience is awesome, from the table, to the lighting, even the doors look so traditional and 'desi'. They serve you a complementary drink which is kind of a shikanji, i asked for it thrice and they served me thrice which was so kind of them. They also serve you an array of amazing achars. We had the special potli kebab which was drool worthy and saag vala gosht with some naans and rotis which did not dissapoint. Everyone from the staff were sweet. Will totally visit again! :)

Desi Vibes is know for their food and ambiance. And as soon as you enter you will love the place. They will give you a jaljeera as a welcome drink. Menu contains many dishes to try. You have to try their Fish (Lahori, Ajwaeni) you will love the taste of spice added in dish. Tandoori chicken was also good with quantity (Sufficient for 2 pax). Limited beer stock ( Heineken, Brocode). Ambiance is good you will love village theme where you will see antique articles under your tables. Service is slow but you can expect breads in a flash. We came with a lot of expectation but we were totally disappointed with the service. First we ordered Murg Lababdar and they served Paneer Lababdar. Waiters have a casual attitude. We had to ask for everything..From tissues to vinegar onions. Even the finger bowl had the coldest water ever given to me any restaurant in finger bowl. Normally it is a little warm. Taste was just average. Won't suggest for anyone even if you are too desperate or dying of hunger.

They welcome us with a tasty masala shikanji, the menu is designed wonderfuly with information about the decor and menu. Food is tasty and the quantity is adequate. Went there for a family celebration after reading multiple and awesome reviews.. but was disappointed just after reaching there.. we had a booking which did not matter and we had to wait for 15 min to get a table, which can be understandable considering it was a sunday.. but once we were seated, the staff took 10 min to even acknowledge us and give us the menu.. it took them another 10 min to put glasses on our table and we only got water when we asked for after the starters were already served.. The overall service was very slow and each order was taking minimum 10-15 mins.. it took us almost 1.5 hours to finish our 2 course meal due to the service.. I have given 1 star for the decor of the place and 1 Star for softness of their starters.. though the meal was not that great.. I was expecting something better after reading the reviews.. Be advised..

The best Indian restaurant in CP.  The Menu is a great value:  food is excellent, selection is diverse, and the service is impeccable.  Me and my fiance come here almost every weekend.  The ingredients they use is very fresh.  The papadom is so delicious and we usually get this instead of garlic naan when we want to go vegan for a day. Good place for Mughlai and vegans (me and my fiance).  Manager is the best, always gracious and attentive host, we try to come here on the weekends every chance we get!

This was my first time here with my family. We came to celebrate my cousin in law's birthday. The food was good and the service was great. The only thing I would say is that during dinner time, the lighting was a little dark. It hurt my eyes in a bit and almost put me to sleep. Especially since I get food comas, I fall asleep. Its really a very beautiful place and the food is awesome.. they should provide sth like a sign board somewhere so that we know where exactly the place is ! LOL I literally just kept circling around not knowing the restaurant is just above my head..

If I could give this place a 10 star I would. Idk where to start I came here with my friends and we ordered the chicken biryani and Khas Bharwan Tandoori Tangri we fell in love. The spices were beautifully put together and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was amazing and the management made us feel at home. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to have a great meal with there families or significant other.

I am almost reluctant to write a review about this place because I consider it to be my secret little hidden gem and I kind of want to keep it that way ;) Its located in a N Block CP little hidden but dont let that fool you. Desi Vibes is clean and the food is fantastic. Order the Mutton Roganjosh, Desi Vibes Ki Khas Dal Makhani with breads...you will not be disappointed! The servers are very friendly and since they have well stocked bar, they are cool with you bringing your own. I would recommend grabbing a some nice cocktail or some desi drinks to along with your meal.

One of my favorite places to go during lunch or dinner. The waiters are friendly and helpful. They have a really great lunch menu with reasonable prices. I usually order the Butter chicken along with the Naan. The drink is a must! one of popular place in the cp for lip smacking dishes.
