Review Indian Grill Company - New Delhi

Abdul Basit Raza Siddiqui
This place is great alternative to Barbeque Nation. Good ambience and excellent staff. Buffet price is reasonable. I was not able to book a table at Barbeque nation just got this as recommendation in ads and it is amazing Trip advisors says that they serve halal. The numbers on menu doesn't work so I think Walk in is the only option.

The ambiance and the food is really awesome and the service was quick too as well during the eve of Christmas when there were a lot of people in the restaurant.
Amy Varghese
Pleasant ambience and good food.. I tried the non-veg buffet here, which consists of on-the-table barbeque among other things, at a moderate price.. the service was also prompt..
Bhatia Neeraj
Food was good specially snacks and buffet.dessert was a bit off for us .And in drinks we tried snake bite .it was worst .staff was very good .

Nice ambience... service was good and worth for money

Very good place to eat with friends and family, lot of varieties are available here.Staff is also very supportive.

This restaurant is newly opened. It is small and looks like a fast food cafe. The menu is limited, the crew is efficient, energetic and determined to make it a success. My kebab was well cooked and the chef is obviously well experienced. The manager is friendly and determined to give good service. Seating is for 30 covers with comfortable seats, good lighting, very modern and clean. Not at all what I expected, but my simple meal was good, and I was pleased I had gone. The kitchen is also on view and is kept very clean.

Very authentic north Indian cuisine casual dining restaurant. Personal attention given to every table by managers, staff and the head chef even during busy weekend evenings. Our custom request for an item excluded from the menu was met with a great zeal. The starters are so tempting to ask more...my primary reason to visit each time. Service staff is alert at all times and we find everything near perfect. The variety of food is actually better than a five star buffet. Our first time experience was fantastic and second time was even awesome. We've found a perfect destination for our family and business clients to have a great dine-in experience.

Nice place. Go for buffet here. Around 600. You can eat hell lot of things in buffet. Snacks they serve you on table. I liked the grilled fish and prawn very much in snacks. Buffet mutton was not cooked properly. Dessert were god

Mouthwatering Buffets at affordable price !! Got to know about the place through a friend. Its situated on the outer circle and has a nice entrance. Inside its much smaller than expected. The ambiance is standard with a prompt service. I have been here several times, and once i even hosted a sales party for my team. The food is good though i always feel barbeque nation has a larger variety and better preparation. The starters are awesome and the chef will always entertain your custom requests The main course is simple yet elegant and you will always leave full. Deserts are nice All in all a value for money restaurant !!!

Brilliant food! Opted for their buffet spread. The 'Live on table grill' starters were delicious. I stuffed so much with the starters that I couldn't do justice to the main course. Deserts were perfect. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some good grilled food.
Kanchan Panesar
Very similar to the concept of barbecue nation and pirates of grill yet stands ahead with the service they offer. Menu is pretty much the same as their competitors, which I guess should be improved upon. Food here is better in terms of taste and flavours. Buffet is priced decent and is recommended from my behalf

Nice place for bar and dining for small groups upto 10, as they don't have setup for bigger groups. Rest the staff was very helpful and food was great too. Other thing I didn't liked was, they didn't allowed some of the persons to sit either when they arrived a bit early from the time booked, saying kitchen is not ready.

Located at Connaught place this place offers nice selection of kebabs both veg and non veg and varieties of drinks along with buffet which is not heavy on the pocket. Ambience is also good. One should prefer seatings on the first floor, the ground floor feels a little crunched of space.
Deepak Bagai
Truly liked the food served out here. The restaurant offers buffet menu with on the table live grilled starters. It is a highly recommended place for families and groups. Located in M Block on the outer circle of the Connaught Place area with Rajiv Chowk Metro Station and Barakhamba Road Metro Stations being the closest ones.

The food was decent not excellent I liked the choice of beers they had. The environment is like a restaurant unlike other buffet grill outlets out there. Food is cheaper bbq nation there is an early bird discount on Saturday when the food is very cheap if you order it before 12:30
Mukesh Gupta
Went there on my birthday. Very much on the lines of BBQ Nation, but must say great service!! Must go, if having hard time finding spot and barbeques, pirates of the grills of the world
Karuna Koul
Courteous staff, Prompt live grill and great decor service. Lunch buffet is heaven. Chicken soup, chicken biryani,Bbq and brownie chocolate are really delicious.
Raunak Rajpal
The food is good, but I would still prefer going to Barbecue Nation. This is just for the fact that they offer a drink with their buffet, which is a must with the type of food served.
Mukul Kumar
Pathetic service.
Bad food. Avoid this thing.
With food quality so bad, staff is also very annoying, trying to push people out on a buffet booking.

Few buffet options exist in CP, atleast which I know. This was one of them. Located in M block, it's right next to the Ministry of Beer and GT Road Restaurant, so the competition is tough!

¶¶ Ambience: It's a nice looking place. The lighting was a bit too fun perhaps but that's just nitpicking.

¶¶ Service: SLOW! Half of the appetizers were on time whereas half of the variety was served after we had filled our tummies with the first lot. Definitely need improvement here.

¶¶ Food:
- Chicken Tikka: Yum. Never disappoints.
- Fish Tikka: Good! Soft and succulent.
- Paneer Tikka: Above average.
- Mutton Seekh: Nice! Enjoyable.
- Chicken Wings: Not good! They tasted funny!
- Salsa Potatoes: Nothing special.
- Fried Gobhi Poppers: These were divine! I'd say better than the non veg options!
- Gobhi Masala: Nice!
- Veg Noodles: Thick and well cooked.
- Phirni: BAD! It had gone sour!
- Brownie: Not as gooey as I had hoped.
- Ice cream: Saving grace!

¶¶ Overall: It was a nice one-time experience. Probably not the best buffet I've had. But oh well, you gotta try everything atleast once!
Fries Before Guys🙌🏻
The place is pretty close in matching the standards of BBQ nation.the starters are amazing the food is good ,tho there is not much variety .staff is polite and it is a pocket friendly place.
Madhi IAS
Very pathetic place. They had limited items on the buffet. The name says grill company but there's no live grill on the table. They just serve the food. Right from the potatoes to the chicken, the taste was bad with too much masala in everything. Utter waste of money. The review is Based on my experience a year ago. Dunno how they have improved now

The only plus is their ambience.
Nazish Abid
It is now customary for Saturday afternoons to have buffet food and it was now time for me to try my hands at IGC. So first of all the ambience of this place was a big turn off. Now coming to the food the starters were just okish and nothing great. Few dishes in main course were like the consolation of the entire affair . Desserts were absolutely disappointing, especially the caramel custard and mousse. Similar buffet places in the city have much more to offer than IGC. Not a great place to have buffet food.
HR
Indian Grill Room serves only buffets for both lunch and dinner. Similar to the format of barbeque nation, they serve a wide range of starters including kebabs followed by an equally large spread of main course and dessert items.
However the flavour of the dishes is not up to the mark.
Saurabh Pal
Thumbs Up👍
great in terms of Barbeque - awesome! accompanied by a wildly spread buffet. from Sigree on the table to traditional minimalistic decor with good professional service has made it one of the most wanted for those who loves live grill kebabs! wide variety of kebabs - and really tasty ones. A must Try for foodies! you will love it.

Prakhar Tandon

We were here last evening for dinner and ordered for non vegetarian meal.

To start with starters, the chicken lollipop served was dry from inside which does not comply with my taste. With the grilled food, the chicken and fish preparation were good and tasted delicious. The prawns were a disappointment for us, but mutton kebabs were the catch of the day. Coming to the main course, the mutton roganjosh was good and butter chicken was average. However, we could not try the other dishes. The breads served were crips and hot, just what I seek for. At last we had our hand on the sweet dishes. Out of all, we ate brownies, pastries, phirni, fruit cakes, and a few slices of fruits. Overall some of them were delights to the taste buds, while some were not.

The service was at par and the ambience was calm, and well lit.

Overall, it is a one time try as the cost for this meal is a bit too high. But I enjoyed my meal and time here.

Bon appetit.

Poor ambiance with dim lights food is not so tasty. Can improve service as well. Not variety of dips just regular tikkas nothing innovative but yes they play good music
Vandana Iyer
Brilliant food! Opted for their buffet spread. The table grilled starters were delicious. I stuffed so much with the starters that I couldn't do justice to the main course. Deserts very perfect. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some good grilled food.

Food: the food was okayish. Starters were good except for the chaap but the main course was pretty bad. Paneer sabji was pretty bad and cold. Please dont try the watery butter chicken!! Desserts were okayish..brownie was nice. Chicken soup was pathetic.

Ambience: an average ambience with poor lightning system.

Service: service was slow. Probably the fact that we reached around 3.. Which was a little late for lunch played a role but then they should stop accepting customers if they cant serve them well.

Overall an average experience. The place compares no where close to buffet places like barbeque nation, barbeque company etc

Good food good service. We had a reunion there. Everyone had a great time. We had the entire ground floor so lots of fun. Food quality very good especially potato salsa, fish n chicken lollipop as well as tikka. Noodles and fish in black bean sauce were good. In sweets loved paan kulfi and kiwi mousse. Ambience can be improved. All in all a good experience at a great price.
Raunak
We went on a friday night as an alternative to BBQ nation as it was totally occupied. The buffet was cheaply priced. Starters and main course were good. There was a good variety of nicely prepared dishes. The staff was courteous. However, dont expect too much from the ambience. Moreover, the desserts were poor and played a spoil sport.
Shivani Garg
Food is really tasty here.Ambience is also good.Service is fast for all the food items.Nice to visit for a change.A place where is barbeque served with Indian taste.
Sonam
Had a horrific experience today!!!

Food was pathetic and stale. Very poor service, zero points for management and Hygeine.

We somehow managed to swallow the starters. While having main course we ordered a cold drink and found this.

Please go to this restraunt if you want to spoil your day!!!!
Rashika A Pandeyy
Like all buffet spreads, they have quite a number of food items to offer, classified in all categories, starters, main course and desserts!
Food is above average, ambience is fine!
What I have felt in my couple of visits here is that they rush you through the starters, I kind of felt under pressure to say fine I am done with them, you may remove the grill!
A special mention to the dessert spread, treat to the taste buds!
Sonal Arora
Worst buffet I ever had. Very low quality food. in veg they have very less starters ...Corns were tasteless.... Chicken wings were Raw...no live counters....Even lime water was very bad in taste....Not worth a single rupee.

Not even close to barbeque nation in terms of variety and service ....the staff if not professional and looks like members of a dhaba...too much suffocation in the restaurant and they give excuses that it is due to the grills....was my first and last visit
Vineet Vikram
Once I tried to explore other buffet restaurant than barbeque nation and i reached here. Starters was quite disappointing as chicken was hard and even after asking for making it juicy they didn't bother to change it. Main course was also quite average only thing was attracted me was desserts.
Foodie_Biker
Great buffet place to be in CP. Love the ambience of this place and the service. Variety of food is quite good and prices are competitive as well. Loved the buffet served specially Chiken Tikka, Fish Tikka, Prawns and Chicken Leg peice. In the main course must have is Dal Makhni and Methi Chicken. Deserts are amazing including Chocolate brownie and Muffins.

today being Sunday we were in mood to have some chilled beer and get some good food so opted for Indian grill company. We asked for some starters and main course food. The food was excellent and we enjoyed leisurely during the day time making Sunday beautiful.

I went to Indian Grill Company Cp for a friend's birthday treat. Just like every other buffet restaurants, it had live grill for starters. You can have a single drink for the whole lunch. I had veg while others had non-veg. What I liked about this restaurant was the food was according to Indian tastebuds i.e d food was not bland. The veg starters were mouth watering specially the veg kebabs and spiced potatoes. While in the non veg section the chicken wings, fish and prawns were great too. I didn't like my mojito it was too concentrated. The main course had variety of dishes like chicken Briyani, Mutton roganjosh, Peshawari choley, noodles etc.
DESSERTS: We tried feerni, Brownie with Ice cream, pudding( not good), Pan kulfi
SERVICE: Service was nice and staff was humble.
Masaba Cooks
Sunday experience - Food was over and under cooked. Service was not appropriate at all. I was regular customer of IGC but that day just waved off all the good memories all at once.
Biggest flaw was that they didn't even rectified when we complained. Truly not upto mark.

I would suggest not to go there more than once.

🙁

I love buffet places. Happened to visit this one for a retirement party of a relative. Ambience is same as other buffet places although I don't know why its low-light. I hate low lighting. Comfortable seating.

Coming to the food. The starters are all good. Chicken Tikka, Seekh Kababs, Prawn Tikkas, Tandoori Chicken, Mushroom Tikkas were my favorite. Didn't like the Paneer Tikka and Malai Chaap as both lacked flavour for me.
The main course was usual. Dal Makhani and Chicken Biryani were the best of the lot.
In dessert I loved the Kulfis as they had a lot of variety. Espcially the Pan Kulfi. One of the few good ones I have had.

Service is a bit slow. Staff is polite and courteous.

A bit expensive according to me. Worth a visit though.

RATED 3.5!
Astitva Pratap Singh
Definitely one of the best live grill plus Buffet restaurants out there. I am a regular customer and the taste is great no matter when I go.
Megha Mongia
Food is very tasty. We had veg n non veg both as per family members preference. Staff is polite especially Chander Mohan. Very polite, efficient n his smiling face will make ur day. Potato Salsa, Salted Crispy Corn n Tikki in starters were awesome.
Ritu Bhatia
Rubbish serivice and snacks , waiters were standing and not serving, kulfi wass horrble and stale.
Only 2 snacks served with very slow service,
Main course was Oki types.
Dont. Go here opt for barbque nation or jungle zambooree
Abhinav Agrawal
Tasteless food, worthless place. I was a repeating customer, but after today's experience would never visit again. Highly non recommended place, better prefer their competitors.

I went there on my birthday 🎉 and it was as an amazing experience they have the buffet system which is very good all they do is put a grill type thing on your table they kind of fix it on your table now come to what's on the grill I only had non veg there were prawns, fish, chicken, and meat everything was grilled all of the item was amazing now let's talk about the main course it's a buffet there were a lot of thing but I had butter chicken and biryani and bread all butter chicken was good but biryani was tasteless. Now after having dinner they have also got deserts which was absolutely bad 😬🙄 although a nice experience thumps up 👌🏻👍🏻

Again one of the restaurant on the concept of live grill.we had great food.quality of food was so better than Barbeque nation
We had
Paneer Hari mirch Tikka
Malai soya chaap
Achari mushroom
Potato salsa
Sabudana ki tikki
Crispy corn
Chaat papdi
Pan fried crispy noodles
Chilly paneer
Spring rolls
Dal makhani
Dal tadka
Mushroom masala
Makai palak
Paneer makahani
Moong Dal halwa
Besan ki burfi
Phirnee
Pineapple mousse
Kulfis
My favorite one Gulabjamun with ice cream
Brownie was missing

Food was great
N in drinks we had some beer
We ordered than snake bite that was worst vodka shots I have ever had n finished with Chivas regal.
Food service was good
No hustle bustle n feedbacks were irritating us while eating and prices were also not too high.
But due to low height at first floor temperature was going up .a little problematic.looking forward to visit again.

A great place to go with your friends. Gives you value for money. Interior is average n space is less but it's always great to pre book your table specially on weekend. The buffet is yummy n better than ala carte menu. Price are affordable.

Below review is for buffet lunch and buffet dinner:
regular ambience but awesome food. Staff is courteous and helpful. Been there many times and food tastes same everytime with few new changes help you stay interested in dining here.

Summarizing:

Starters : Lot of varieties - they change their menu all the time without compromising in taste.
Sabudaane ki tikki, potato salsa, paneer tikka, haryali kabab every thing is perfect all the time.

main course is limited to 5- 6 items but tastes amazing.

A must go place where you will feel special.

Great Ambience and food.
Starters are especially good.
Live grill concept is cool.
Must give a try alteast once.Peaceful as compared to BBQn
Piyushshandilkar
one of the best buffet restaurant not like barbeque nation or jungle jamboree who have a look waiting queue. Amazing food specially the corns in starter. Well behaved staff who helped me in arranging cake for my wife's birthday
Devendra Singh
After Barbeque Nations, found a decent place for my hunger. Snacks were very nice and fresh. Some new items like Sabudana kababs were also a tasty stuff. Snacks were completely satisfy our taste buds and stomach, but in beverages they have some less items than BBQ. They also don't have complimentary soft drink. Main course was delightful but overall quite below than BBQN. But seats were easily available there with prior booking. Ambience was good, staff was also cooperative and humble. I am suggesting this place for those who didn't get chance in BBQN.

It was my frnd's bday and we planned to visit Indian grill this time .. had lunch buffet there .. the place is good , food yummy , courteous staff with a smile on their faces .. live on table grill was there but not as good as barbequenation.. overall a nice experience.
Prashant Mishra
ambience is good with enough seating vapacity, buffet includes variable menu fir all food lovers, desset are to go for but the main items are tandoori starters, far better than bbq nation

If you are vegetarian, We suggest you to avoid this place.

Came here to visit GT Road but it was overbooked so came across indian grill as it is only a few shops away.
Worst buffet ever had; pineapple was over spicy, champ were just tasteless, paneer tikka was also so so.
Tasted a spoon of paneer from main course it was also so so.
So, didn't even thought of trying the other things n left the place.

For confirmation of indian grill following is the billing details
Bill No. 563, 30-4-2017, table no. 30

After having visited Barbeque Nation in CP,i wanted to try some other place for buffet.Going by word of mouth,i decided to give IGC a try.Located near Naturals Ice Cream Parlour, this place is pretty big with 2 floors.
We opted for the buffet during the Early Bird hours during which the Veg Buffet will cost you 500 bucks and Non-Veg Buffet will cost you 560 bucks(taxes extra).
The service here during early hours is pretty slow as compared to other places.
First you get complimentary drinks which had the options of Virgin Mojito,Lime water, coke and other soft drinks.
The Non-Veg starters included Til Vale prawns,chicken(2 varieties) and seekh kebab.
The main course had Methi Murgh,Hong Kong Chilli fish,Awadh Chicken Biryani,Naan,Chicken Manchow soup etc.

The Veg starters included Salsa potatoes,Spring rolls,Soya chaap,paneer tikka,mushroom.
The main course had Steamed Rice,Veg. Noodles,Veg. Manchurian,Dal Tadka,Dal Makhni,Malai Palak,Veg soup.

For dessert the options were Mango Mousse,Litchi Pudding,Vanilla pastry,Gulab Jamun,Phirni, fruits.

The food was good, staff was courteous and cleanliness was on point. But for this price you can get many better options.

Overall, the place is worth a one time visit.
Ankur Krishna
My rating comes with a rider it's for the food only. The ambience would get a lower rating for sure, because it's too cramped for a grill setting. The grill items are average at best. The mutton seekh and tangri kebab are good and so is the palak chat.
The buffet is good the biryani was yum and so was the dhaba mutton. For the sweeter tooth the moong dal ka halwa and the kulfi is must.
Service is good though they took some time for the drinks and the barbeque fork.

If you looking for some place that doesn't have waiting and a buffet menu this wont disappoint.

We went to Indian grill company for an office party, we were around 30 people. The food was good, service was good, But it had the worst ventilation system. Due to the grills & coal burning the levels of carbon monoxide increases and due to no proper ventilation the whole floor (1st floor) became smokey and most of us started feeling dizzy & sick. Next day in office we got to know that half of the people fell sick, nauseous and dizzy. This thing is the worst and I will think 100 times before going there again. Even the waiters said people do feel dizzy due to smoke. Please don't spoil your name & do something.
Prabhjyot Singh Ahuja
Thank you Indian Grill Company for your good service. Yes, there are rooms for improvement but still I had one of the good evenings today.
Food was delicious and ambience was also decent.
Just an average buffet restaurant

Indian Grill Company is buffet type restaurant in M block of C.P. which serves live-grill food on the table. Nothing extraordinary to talk about as it is just like any other Barbeque Nation clones. It has two floors and the best seating area are near windows of the upper floor. Its a typical buffet restaurant with live-grills. Can be visited once. Thats it.

Pros:

1. Location: Right on the main road of M-Block Outer Circle in C.P. Can be easily located.

2. Ample parking space all around

3. Service is good

4. Seating area is also good with evenly spaced seating

5. Food is more or less good (try Chicken Wings in barbecue sauce)

Cons:

1. Most of the time it is crowded

2. Starters need some improvement (was served some of the worst Prawns in life)

3. Main course is surprisingly good (try the mutton dishes)

4. Sweet dishes lack variety (in fact cakes were not fresh at all)

5. Cooling and exhaust system is a big mess (so much smoke all around with so many live grills on the table)

6. With Rs.1400 for a lunch its quite not worth the money

Overall its best to go one time only unless they make major improvements in the food. Not at all recommended if you are trying to book for any special occasion.

Came here on a whim and we were pleasantly surprised! Service even before we ordered food was warm and hospitable, the food was flavorful and everything was made very well. This will now be our go to restaurant for buffet in the area.
Tarun Bansal
Starters were just ok but I would really like to appreciate the chef Surendra Gautam who came to our table to take feedback and ask our preferences and then served us with few of his special dishes. His extra efforts to ensure the customer doesn't go dissatisfied is what will make us come back again !Infact I would like to applaud the complete staff as they were very courteous, helpful and on the toes !

The buffet is hot, fresh, and ample. The food is perfectly cooked and spiced. The service is flawless. The price is just right. Clean and comfortable environment. Definitely worth going/

After so much of discussion, we finally chose Indian Grill Company over other buffets on a Sunday. Happy to say that it was a wonderful experience. The food is amazing and the staff are really hospitable. The ambience is pretty nice.
It is a wonderful place to hangout with friends and enjoy good food.

Off all the buffets in CP, Indian grill by far is the best to be honest. The ambience, the quality of food and flavors were perfect. However I rate Indian grills 3.5 since the desserts were a nightmare. Having a fondness for desserts, I have always been very strict about reviewing my sweets. So it upsets me to say that the dessert counter was a joke. Let me elaborate in detail.

The Brownie
Brownies are supposed to be moist, chewy and fudgy. Unfortunately, the brownie that was served was dry, hard and the chocolate flavor was compromised.

Assorted Pastries
This section was irrefutably a disaster. The pastries were not fresh, it smelled awful. The cake layer was dry. The frosting had no flavor. It was just the food coloring doing its illusionary job.

Carrot Pudding
The glass in which they served were dirty has hell. I didn't want to take it at the beginning, but after a while when the fresh glasses were kept on the counter, I took one. Upon tasting I almost was in the verge of puking. It was like the first attempt gone wrong while trying to make GAJAR KA HALWA. I did not have the courage to eat more.

Its not like I will never visit Indian grills ever again. I will, 100% since their starters and main course were worth every penny. Its better than most of the buffet restaurants. Their Chicken wings in barbecue sauce, Meat Baliram, Garlic Noodles, Masala chicken briyani were out of the box. The staffs were very friendly. I only wish the dessert section would have been at least ok, I would have left the restaurant completely satisfied.

3.5 for the best food, quality of service, perfect ambience and for the disappointing desserts.
Foodie
Remarkably disappointing experience. The outer facade looked promising when we decided to step in this place. At first the attendants outside took 5 minutes to try and work out how they would be able to accommodate us (a group of 3) in their jam packed establishment. Once they did, we were shocked to see that the entire ground floor was vacant with atleast 10tables available! Why they were acting so pricey i'm yet to understand.
The interiors looked centuries old. We were hoping that the food would make up for it but it didn't. Concept wise, it was a copy of the concept of barbecue nation...nothing new there. The grills were bland and dry... The starters were not crisp either. The buffet was boring and the desserts disappointing.
All this and that too at a heavy price.. We paid approx 3k for this! Definitely not worth the time or the money.
The only thing that was worth appreciating was their Pan kulfi and their service.
Never stepping in again.

5-Feb-2017

Frankly speaking , this place was not my first choice but with Barbecue Nation getting snobbier by the day, we went ahead with Indian Grill Company today.

We had booked a table for 3 via Zomato and or table was confirmed.

The concept is similar to other barbecue buffet restaurants with table top grill.

Starters.
Surprisingly, the quality and taste of the starters was great. The spread was decent too.Special mention for Mutton Seekh, Soya Chaap, Chicken Wings and Peri Peri Prawns.

Main Course.
The soups could have been better. The spread was good in Mains too. I liked the Dal Makhni, Mutton Beli Ram and Kadhi Pakora. I did not especially like the Biryani it was too dry for my liking. The chickn in it was not bland.

Desserts.
They should work on their desserts. The spread is not big enough. The gupab jamun and halwa were good. The bakery products were nothing to write home about.

Service
Service was even, the staff was attentive and happy ti serve.

This is a good place but can get better, if they work on their Desserts section.
Foodman
Overall this is a great deal. Prices are lower as compared to barbeque nation. Food is average from starters to desserts. Ambiance is okayish and staff is courteous.
Surbhi Hamrol
The food is tasty.
They have a variety of things for vegetarians in their buffet menu.
Staff is courteous.
Ambience is okay.
They serve their buffets only on the first floor which is a shortcoming.
The starters are well served and barbequed.
Mocktails are extremely good with plesant falvour of each and every ingredient used.
My favoutite was kiwi cooler.
Reasonable pricing for a restaurant placed at outer circle!

Amazing ambience and great food. Serves authentic north indian food. A must to visit place. Conveniently located with amazing buffets! Different delicacies available for vegeterians too!

Located in the M block market, Outer circle, Cannaught place, Indian grill company is hardly a 5 mins walk from Rajiv chowk Metro station. It offers a traditional yet chic ambiance with perfect amount of lighting. The live grill is placed on the individual tables while the buffet spread occupies a separate part of the place. With a total of 2 floors, the live kitchen adds on to the feel.

They offer 6 veg and 6 non vegetarian starters, 2 soups, around 5 varieties of salads, an array of mains and approx 6-8 types of desserts along with a complimentary drink. And all that at great prices. Probably this is the reason why it was fully packed around 1.30 in the afternoon. .....

Everything was amazing apart from the serving........i think bbq is much better option for buffets....

This is the same concept like Barbeque Nation, although its much peaceful here.. obviously because of the crowd.. The food is satisfactory, the staff is nice.

Great food with a variety of Indian dishes on the buffet with a quick and attentive service and fun to grill your meat on the table. On top what a relief to the pocket!! Going back

FOOD
This restaurant is a North Indian food oriented particularly people from Northern part like the food very much.

AMBIANCE
Ambience is superb because the restaurant is decorated, staff's behavior is nice. The chef frequently visits the customers .

SERVICE
The best service is given here. Hospitality with warmth influence people to visit the place repeatedly.

VALUE
It might be bit expensive individually but the buffet cost is comparatively less.

We were approx 20 people went for lunch.
It was buffet lunch.
Starter was just ok, as we got grilled cheese, mushrooms, pineapple, and some snacks, for me a little low.
Main course- many items were there but they must add some more spices to make it tasty.
Dessert- i loved desserts as there were different flavours.

Staff - Prompt response
Ambience- a bit congested
Prices - ok

For me overall it is a good one.

Food is pretty average overall.. Had lots of expectations but was pretty normal experience... Need to improve food standards and service place..

Amazing barbecue. Surprisingly not full on a Sunday! So we were a little apprehensive about the place but contrary to what we thought the place is really good. The menu was more or less like barbecue nation (but a with little less heavy on the pocket). All in all a satisfied customer. And would love to go back again.

The service was remarkably good. The non veg snacks were amazing and lip smacking. They had a very good variety. We were so full after the snacks phase, but main course was a hit too. Even after being full, I couldn't resist not getting a plate of north Indian good food. Biryani was really good. The desserts were above average too. All in all, if you're a foodie, this place should be on your 'to go' list.

Second class version of BBQ Nation - you enter the place and there is smoke around because of the grills => poor ventilation. Anyways, we went in a group of 10 and had our seats changed because of this.
For vegetarians there aren't that many options - paneer, mushroom and potato spheres which were okay - nothing to make me come back here!
Moving on to the mains, the saving grace was dal makhani - had it repeated thrice!!
As I said, concept is similar to BBQ Nation but still needs a bit of catching up with it and definitely a lot of effort to surpass it..

Went out to celebrate mom dad.s anniversary :-) !! Great ambience and yes , awesome buffet(dinner) . Prawns r finger licking.
Thanks for the hospitality !! :-)

It's a good place for lunch. I went to the restaurant on a weekend. The place gets a little crowded. So would suggest to make a reservation. They offer good food variety. I had the veg option. They served a starter made from lotus stem. It tasted amazing. And my friends loveeedd the prawns !! After having the starters, you hardly eat the main course so we directly jumped to the sweet dish. They could include more options in the dessert section.
All in all a good place to hang out !!

It is a nice place to have a wonderful buffet.. I went there for dinner with my family.. The starters and desserts had lotz of varieties and were yummy too..veg potato salsa, chilli garlic noodles were awesome.. Assorted mousse as a dessert was delicious also.. Service was little slow.. This place is spacious and has comfortable seating.. Overall a fantastic experience..!!!

The snacks are delicious.....ambience is also good and decent enough. Their service is also satisfactory. But the main course was not up to the mark.

Please don't visit this place. Pathetic food, pathetic service. What else a person needs for dining. Grilled snacks weren't actually Grilled. Fruits appear to be age old and dried. First floor sitting was very Compact with no place to breathe. Griller fumes made it worst. Serving of bread was stopped abruptly without anyone notice. We had to fought for it to bring it back on. In short.... A COMPLETE NO No!!!!!!

Went there for the buffet, but was a bit disappointed with it. In the past, I have tried out a bunch of other buffets like Jungle Jamboree and in terms of Grills have been to Barbeque Nation, so this went kind of stale in front of those. The buffet is tiny - and I mean it. Not much variety of food, but yes, they do have a good variety of desserts. I liked the starters, but again, Barbeque Nation offers better starters.

However if we compare the prices, I'd definitely recommend this over BBQN because if you are a group then every hundred bucks count, especially if you are a student giving a party. But I definitely do not recommend it over Barbeque Nation in any other aspect, be it quality of food, variety of food, or the offers they give.

A good place to try out, definitely, but not really worth it for parties. A lot of space (much more than the CP outlet of Barbeque Nation) but it lacks the essence of a grill house.

Great place. Nice on price, on point with the menu and variety, great service, excellent ambience and a perfect place for a spot on Sunday brunch.
Kuldeep Shukla
Located at Connaught place this place offers nice selection of kebabs both veg and non veg and varieties of drinks along with buffet which is not heavy on the pocket. Ambience is also good. One should prefer seatings on the first floor, the ground floor feels a little crunched of space.
Priyanka
Least courteous place I ever visited....hope they get trained managers....visited this place yesterday and they didn't even bother to arrange an extra chair for us... showed us the way out.....pissed off

The variety of food is actually better than a five star buffet. Our first time experience was fantastic and second time was even awesome. We have found a perfect destination for our family and business clients to have a great dine-in experience.
Kiriti Meesala
Average place for buffet and the ambience adds to it but it's pretty much looks like a barbeque nation rip off and is also priced on the same level with it !! So ...🤔

The concept of a buffet is great only if you have ample delicious options to choose from. This place had neither many options nor were the given options delicious. And for the food I ended up eating, I think I was grossly overcharged.
My entire experience was a blur of equally average tasting dishes. The two things that stood out though would be the Dal Makhani and the Mango Kulfi.
The variety in dessert was enough but the quality again was lacking. I liked the vanilla ice cream, but well...it's vanilla ice cream, I won't give them credit for making it well.
The ambience was too dark for my liking and they had absolutely no ventilation, and given that they have grills on your table, they could really use some of it.

Concept very much similar to Barbeque Nation, but can't say the same about dinning experience! the place is nicely decorated, having ample amount of sitting space, well that's the only pros thing about this place. Food is just okay, mutton Sami kebab were so hard that i add to confirm with the manager, if they are frozen and just reheated. Chicken 🍗 was nice 👍, I particularly liked the chilli chicken, perfect blend of spices.

Main course had a lot of variety, more than Barbeque Nation, but nothing great about it, just okayish! Coming to desserts 🍨- they had couple of cakes, mousse, fresh cut fruits, but we loved the brownies, they looked like freshly baked!

All in all they will have to work a lot on presentation & menu selection!

Visited this place with some colleagues on a weekday. The concept is same of the Barbeque nation. Starters were good esp crispy corn, fish and chicken tandoor . They had sufficient starters for veg and non veg eaters. We were so full with starters that we hardly got the taste of main course. Staff was courteous and quite proactive. Main course was also good and had variety. I think they could add better desserts at the end through chocolate brownie, gulab jamun, kulfi and fruit custard was good. The seating arrangement is little compact but we got a good table , so I dont have any complaints. The place is value for money and located in quite a strategic place in CP.

Indian Grill Company is a live on the table grill unlimited buffet place. However this place offers good variety of foods but it lacks in taste. Nearby located Barbeque Nation serves much better buffet in lesser prices.

Musts: desserts
Refrain from: corn salt n pepper
Food:
taste: average
quality: good
Quantity: unlimited
Presentation: can be better
Ambience: typical fine dine
Hygiene: good
Service: fast
Staff: rude
Location: good
Cost: 1300 for two..overpriced.

Date of visit : 3rd sept2016
Saturday night

So we thought to dig in some grilled snacks that night, and as barbeque nation was overfilled we thought of trying This place.

It is based on the similar concept of BN. Grill on your table, similar interiors and ambiance. So the menu was smaller than that of barbeque nation. There were no special items other than that on the menu.

The tandoori salad was too bitter, though the chef made us a special tandoori salad afterwards.

Service was okay okay..... Prawns dint taste very well.

Chicken and fish were good in non veg and pineapple and paneer tikka in veg. The potato salsa tasted different in every serving.

Worst part is they don't even offer a single drink along with it.

Over all it was just okay.

Visited this place for a lunch with the family. Options, for non vegetarian starters are many. After trying all if them could not try much of the main course. They had good desserts as well. Will go back for sure

After a long time i came across a buffet place as i had been skeptical about the quality and taste of many such buffet places but to my surprise it turned out to be a pretty good place. There were sufficient number of non veg and veg starter options some like mutton galouti kebabs and fish hariyali tikka were really amazing. The only drawback was perhaps less number of non veg options in main course which they need to improve. The waiters were very cordial but a little laid back in serving the starters. Overall a good experience and a must visit place if one wants to eat a buffet at a reasonable price in Connaught Place.

There are n number of grill house now a days , so why someone come again , definitely for service, quality , ambience, , so here it is. We are only 5-8 people having lunch, so service can be on the top. But it's average and sincere. As they can't do more ( follow orders). As they bring the starter which always feed you fast. And want to repeat them again and again. Why don't they put everything.. means u order it takes 10min to come , till then you eat whatever available. As it locate outer circle and nearby some good eatery. Need to wake as price is similar to other.

Quality is fine as they are service hot and fresh. Menu is very monotonous , means someone go twice for lunch you can see 90% same . Ambience was good as we are very less people due to weekday. I don't what happens on holiday. Not good for seating at ground floor. Dessert is weaker section , but kulfi save the taste. Starter was good need to add service in it. Main course also acceptable as no more choice to add except in Chinese.
We went Indian grill company for a family dinner. We reserved the table in advance as it was weekend. Once we reached we got our reserved table. We took veg and non veg both. Non- veg was good especially chicken wings. In veg we like most the Sabut Dana Tikki. Roasted pineapple was worst in quality, pineapple was neither fresh nor juicy at all. Varieties are less as compared to Barbeque nation etc. After first round of starters they have slowed down their service as if they want us to proceed for main coarse and we have to wait long for each item, every time we have to chase waiter. Main coarse was good and breads were hot and tasty. Deserts were ok. Its cost u around 1000 per head inclusive of all taxes.

Lastly, they have added 48 Rs for mineral water in the bill, while the MRP on the bottle was 35 Rs only. As far as I know no body can charge more than MRP and they have imposed taxes also over and above MRP.

The place is average, people I found that this place lacked in a few things. Firstly there aren't many options being a grill house I did expect a lot more on the food front, as I said the taste is average.
The service however i found didn't lack in hospitality but seriously lacked in sincerity, I found one just one of there dishes was good and asked for a second service twice and wasn't served. Being a buffet that's a serious let down. Some of the main course we're from the afternoon and the fruits were a lost cause.
However my copilot found the salads and the vegetarian option to be good, I have to specially the ' Adraki aloo' curry which she says was the best.
The desserts which I had read about 'paan kulfi' was something that lightened the mood my partner ordered the 'kesar kulfi' which was average again.

Finally I went back home hungry (for a buffet), other bigger names in the grill faction do a much better job than this place. Please don't serve us cold food from afternoon I come at 8pm to have dinner not someone else's afternoon leftovers.

Great Buffet, Great Service, Loved the selection and the fact that they provide so many different gravies. Definitely a new favourite when I am on this side of town!

I am a big fan of pirates of grill and now Indian grill company is also in the list.
Food: starters have good variety, not just for non vegetarians but also for vegetarians like me. I tried lotus stem for the first time and their chilly lotus stem was yummy. Paneer tikka, mushroom tikka, chilly paneer, salsa potato..everything was delicious. They also keep bringing starters not mentioned in the menu like chilly mushroom. For non vegetarians. ...my son loved their prawn tikka, fish tikka abs chicken tikka. Main course had less variety, but no regrets for that ...we were too stuffed already with starters. Out of what we tasted Dal Makhni was delicious. Didn't like the Biryani.

Service: outstanding service and hospitality. They serve you with love and a big smile. If you ask them something. .even if it is not in the menu, they try their best to serve it. My son asked for his birthday cake ( he us used to get a birthday cake at pirates of grill). They dont make cakes but because my son asked for it they actually joined pastries from the buffet and made a cake for him.

Ambience : they need to work a little on the ambience. It's the only negative thing about the place. The overall ambience is a little boring.

Overall a gr8 place to take your family. Kids are free on Tuesdays. ...complete value for money.

Nice place to enjoy a buffet meal. You can get a wide variety of kebabs here. Ambience is amazing, fod taste is 4/5 servers are helpful and always attentive on the tabke.

Food gets a 4/5. Hospitality gets 0.5/5. I was there with a party of 7. We were not informed about the timings. When they did tell us that the buffet will be off at 4:30, there were 15 minutes left. All this while, the manager was extremely rude. We rushed through the mains and were done with dessert around 4:40. While our friends were using the washroom, this manager tried to rush us out. With no sign of politeness, I doubt the Indian Grill Company is acquainted with the notion of Hospitality.

Will not be returning again.

Good experience, been here a couple of times. The starters are specifically why i always like coming back. The price of the drinks are reasonable. Well i never have much space for the main course since i mostly eat starters. But the main course is good as well. The service is excellent, the people there are very responsive. The only thing which i think needs to be better is the dessert, a bit disappointed with thats. Rest all is good.

I have been grill hopping with my family for a few days and I must say that this place is worth a visit if you are a fan of grilled food. I loved the starters. A special mention for the prawns. They were the best I've tasted in the city so far. I found the non vegetarian main course dishes amazing. The kulfi was yum. I like the fact that the staff was receptive and the service was prompt. The people make the experience worth it.

Had to go to this place for a preplanned family outing. They had a wide spread of all cuisines in their starters as well as the main course but the food was nothing special and was okayish. Though the best part was their service. Thewaiters were so sweet and at your command the whole time and they were really happy.

Located in M Block, Indian Grill Company offers some great buffet options at relatively lower prices as compared to other Buffet places in the vicinity. The buffet starts with standard kebabs getting barbecued live in the center of table followed by appetizers and finally main course clubbed with desserts.

I chose the vegetarian package and was served 4-5 kebabs initially which were soft and barbecued perfectly. The appetizers had 3 options, palak patta chaat being one of my favorite. The main course has 5-6 choices for vegetarians with dal makhni being the best out of all. The desserts are also served in good quantity, the choices of kulfi is to look forward for.

Indian Grill Company easily scores 4/5 for its food, ambiance and hospitality, what the place lacks is differentiating factors from other Barbecue places. I also found starters and appetizers options really less for a buffet, there was not much to chose from. Main course also had general items such as dal and paneer, missing out on more exotic veggies. The place can do really well by introducing more options to chose from in their buffet menu.

Follow my food journey on Instagram- Foodie_Vakil.
