Review Giani's Di Hatti - New Delhi

Shireen Malik
Small seating area but serves the purpose. I ordered chole bhature, which was not very heavy, bhature were light and paneer stuffed and chole was also not very spicy. But bit overpriced. They also serve rajma rice and varieties ice-cream. Also had their mango shake, the quantity of which was very good for a medium size glass. The taste however was average because of added artificial syrup. The place is very crowded, so visit only if you can tolerate traffic.

I had the pleasure of visiting Giani Di Hatti, famous for Rabri Falooda . The rabri is rich, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet. It provides the perfect canvas for the falooda noodles to shine. These noodles are made fresh, ensuring a wonderful chewy consistency that complements the rabri beautifully. What truly sets Giani Di Hatti apart is the essence of tradition. As one of the oldest outlets for falooda, the experience feels like a journey through time. Also the journey to old Delhi is tiring but this desert lifts your spirits. Giani Di Hatti is a must-visit. It's a delightful reminder of the rich culinary history that has made it a beloved destination for generations.

Though I am not a fan of deep fried things, yet I have been told that this place sold on of the best Chole Bhatures in Delhi. Bhatures are lite and easy to chew, even if you don't eat fried, you would not hate them for sure.. apart from this they sell ice cream and their best seller is Rabdi faluda. They have logo of Giani's ice cream but it's unsure if they are the same or different.. It's situated in middle of old Delhi so Accessibility is difficult for sure, cars can't reach here, nearest metro is Chandni chowk. Don't go beyond breakfast in summers, it's highly humid and hot there..

I went here in the night around 10pm and tried their rabdi! It is one of the best rabdis I have eaten as they serve it fresh laced with some rose flavours and crushed ice! They have serving in both glass and disposable paper cup ! They also add a little bit of semolina to the rabdi and it’s worth the hype and taste! I will definitely come back here for this one
Paramjeet Singh
Tried their very famous Rabdi Falooda and I must say it tasted fantastic. Rabri Falooda was very thick and rich in flavours. Falooda is a Mughlai cuisine version of a cold dessert made with noodles and Rabdi. It has origins in the Persian dish faloodeh, variants of which are found across West, Central, and South Asia. Giani's packaging is very good with good Hospitality.

Just a few steps away lies this Giani's outlet that Is the birthplace of a major ice cream chain. I ordered chole bhature which was surprisingly nice and it comes at a cost of 90 rupees per plate. They have a small seating place but it does the purpose. I also tried faluda that costed about 100 rupees but i have had better so won't recommend.
Mohd Naeem
Very delicious and sweet rabdi falooda. 🤤🧋 but a very big problem is online payment are not accepted.
Pritish Poswal
Probably one of the best Moong Dal halwa you can find in Delhi. Topped with a good amount of dry fruits. it's a true delight. The halwa is prepared fresh regularly and you can see the process of preparation there. The taste is awesome with perfecr flavours, sugar levels and it is well cooked. Along with moong dal halwa they also have gajar ka halwa at same price too. They take cash for payments remember that. Overall a must try place if you love garma garam halwa in winters.

Worth visit once, it's bloody difficult to reach this place even by foot. If you can tolerate chaotic traffic worth visit for Chana Bhature
Gaurav Wadhwa
Famous for their rabri faluda, and its a must try. A refreshing and filling experience. Sweetness is well balanced and taste is awesome.
Tanuj Shukla
Had rabdi faluda for 100₹ here, for which it's known for. It has elaichi, ararot made faluda, rabri, and Rose syrup. Ask them not to put ice in this. It would spoil the taste. One of the bystanders told me their quality has degraded. I can relate, even though I haven't tasted it before.
Nisha
I went to Chandini chowk for some wrk , I came across Giani di Hatti on my way , have heard a lot about this place specially for its rabri falooda ,so I gave a try ,. Honestly it was not expected as I had high hopes because of hype , i had ordered 2 glasses which costed 200 rs , taste was not good and my glass was mostly full of ice and less of rabri . 😐
Ruchika Saini
The worst one, I had so much high hope from this place as its one of the most famous faluda in whole delhi but it doesn't even worth a single penny... So bad in taste n too much costly.. One cup of rabri faluda was for 100rs n if someone offer me it again in 20 rs even thn I won't drink it so the whole point is don't ever try this place n save ur money 💵
Abhishek Dalal
Good food value for money.

Delhi is famous for many things and one of them is food. Many known food brands started from old delhi and now famous globally. One of them is giani. We have tried their ice creams so many times from various locations but fews weeks ago we visited the first shop of giani in old delhi. We came to know that they serve the best rabri faluda in town and thats really true. Every bite of this contains flavours and creaminess. Do try this out and find it your self.🤤
Anjali Sharma
They have such delicious rabri faluda and famous for it too.

The chole bathure and lassi of this place are heavenly. You have to visit this place if you want to taste the authentic delhi street food. Highly recommended!!

If you are in Delhi's Chandani Chauk and carving to eat delicious chole bhature, try this place. It serves really amazing chole bhature at its outlet. After having it, a must try and a unique dessert is Rabri Faluda.

⭐⭐⭐Quite good Rabdi falooda but not worth the hype ⭐⭐⭐

Price: Rs.90

Giant Di Hatti is one of the eldest establishment Delhi, popular for its chole Bhature and Rabdi Falooda. One of the biggest reason for such a high popularity gain for this place was their Rabdi falooda videos and posts spreading like fire on the social media platform.

Since it had gone so viral was curious to try what the fuss was all about. So went there the very next day I landed in Delhi and boy was I disappointed. Forst of all its is located in the narrow lanes of Chandni chowk which is quite difficult to reach as all uber driver throw tantrums when they hear Chandni chowk as a destination. Let's keep that aside as its not their fault.

Coming to the rabdi falooda it looks pretty good and attractive as shown on the social media no denying that but when it comes to taste its better tha. Average but I would refrain from saying it the best. The Rabdi was thick and full of dry fruits the rabdi was thick but I couldn't help but notice the thickness was pretty unordinary and was feeling pretty artificial and overly sweet. Thrown in some ice and noodles which cuts down the sweetness and balances the dish.

I might say it is just a one time try but wouldn't be going back for more.

Best rabri faluda in the city

Ohh my god but a place to have street food. We heard a lot about this place and tried chole Bhtura , malai lasi and Rabri Falooda and taste was really very amazing. Must try place.

Never thought I would loved the Chole bhature here this much also Bonus point for Rabri Falooda.❤️
Mayank Singh
Place is clean but the food is not upto the mark as per name and popularity. Lassi is freshly made and good in taste.

Great place to sweettooth..They have maintained the quality since ages. Tried their famous Rabdi Faluda ...Great faluda!!Good food great taste from many years I have tasted many items and the food is up to the mark the shop have good hygiene..This place is full of mouth watering flavours...This outlet also provided best behavior to their customers ...
Only problem is parking and sitting
No proper sitting facility is available and same for parking. It is located in city centre. So reaching here with big vehicle is a task
Shivani Chopra
The rabri falooda is amazing...It's so filling and the taste is just amazing too. Always fresh and the pricing is reasonable too. never been disappointed

My favv place for having rabdi falooda and chhole bhature🤤😍😍
I've been visiting this place since my childhood days and i cannot get enough of it🤤🤤😍😂.

One of the most iconic places in Delhi is giani's di hatti, this place is a gem and is commonly known for it's variety of ice-cream and street food. The chole bhature are absolute delight, I am in love with their chole bhature. As soon as I took a bite a whole lot of flavours filled my mouth, the bhatures were perfectly puffed to their fullest and there was less oil in it.The chole had the perfect amount of spices and desi masala in it, it was super delicious and to complete the whole dish and add up to it's flavour there is always onion rings and carrot pickle. The service is super quick and staff is friendly.
Anishka Jain
Chandni chowk is famous for it food and shopping. Desi food in chandini chowk is quite famous. And giani's di hatti is one of food outlet which I really prefer for sweets special gajar ka halwa. As its tasty and full of dry fruits.
Prashant Sharma
Very tasty and hot gajar and dal halwa are here with affordable price .must try
Yogesh Batra
This is one of the famous place in chandani chow for chole bhature so visited here last weekend with family.
They have good variety of north Indian dish.
Bhature was excellent but chole i find average in taste.
SippingGlassOfWine🍷
Visited this place as had heard enough about the famous faluda. This is the heart of Delhi and literally vvv crowdy. I didn't genuinely like the taste of faluda. It was tooo creamy and tooo authentic may be. Otherwise it can be a good option for rabri and malai lovers and all.
Rakesh Mishra
Nice place for food and spend time with friends and family ...
Mayank Bhadouria
Giani’s di Hatti is famous for there rabri faluda. it is super delicious faluda full of dry fruits and rabri
Varun Chauhan
Giani's is one of the most popular eating outlet from old Delhi. This place has a great legacy of amazing rabdi faluda. In addition, they also offer chole bhature and other lip smacking items.

Visit them and you will definitely feel like heaven. 5/5 . Highly crowded on weekends. So better plan your visit accordingly.
Kanika Pahadia
Chole Bhature is very easy find in Delhi but to search and eat the best, you gotta work hard.

Small outlet with limited seating, not the best ambiance but great affordable prices and lip smacking Chole Bhature ? Count me in :)

This place is known to serve the best and Authentic Chole Bhature in Delhi and I, personally couldn't agree more. Paneer filled Bhaturas served with Chole sabzi, Aloo and fresh homemade pickle is something you would never want to miss. A plate of this dish costs mere 40 bucks and you can ask for refill of Cholas and pickles as well. The bhaturas are made fresh after you palce the order and the immense happiness of bursting the Bhatura with your little finger and when the hot air blows out, this my friend is pure heaven. The Bhaturas are not bland and have great flavours while the Chana is literally the best amalgamation of masalas and the aromas will just have you wanting for more.

I have visited this place more than once and have always been a fan. If you plan to come to Delhi or are already staying in Delhi, please do try this dish out.

Do not forget to try the Falooda rabdi here, costs 90 bucks but it is pure malai richness and worth every penny.
Jatin Sharma
I had rabri faluda here. It was really tasty. Made of pure rabri. One should definitely come her when in Chandni Chowk. It is adjoining kake di hatti which is also very popular

I visited this place today as it has a lot of Hype for it's chole bhature and faluda so I thought why didn't ai try it.
I visited with my friends and ordered chole bhature, chole chawal and palak and Rabri faluda.
Chole bhature was priced ₹80/- . Now considering the price size is small. Chole is also not that great. This could be found on a local shop for ₹50/- max.
Same for chole chawal plate. It's seriously small portion and not that delicious as it has hype.
Then we tried the faluda. Faluda looks delicious from distance but not when u taste it. It's like having too much liquid sugar in a glass. That's too for ₹90/- .
It wasn't a satisfactory deal neither was taste that good.
Kartik Gupta
Taken rabri faluda here and it was awesome. Rabri taste is awesome when mixed with faluda. Perfect sweetness of faluda
Purav Rustagi
If you are Rabri faluda lover , you can to come to this place
The faluda here is best in town. It’s priced on a higher side of 90 rs for a glass but trust me it’s totally worth the money

The place in the evening offers Rabri faluda and halwa (which is also vet good)

I drive all the way for noida just for having this faluda sometimes in the evening.
Dilli Foods
We had tried chole bhature from here. Price was decent but it was quite okayish in taste especially chole.
Crafians
We tried their chole bhature which is really famous and the taste was really good.
We also tried their lassi which is refreshing.
Overall, a decent and nice place.
Mudrit Kashyap
They serve really tasty kulfis.
Love the taste of the kulfis
Lately the price has risen but it is okay if you wanna try something new.
Simran Lohia
While trying out all famous street food joints of chandni chowk, i tried out this place for rabri faluda. It was good but it wasn't upto the mark.
Rohit Gupta
Chole bhature are really tasty and your taste buds wont be disappointed after having them. However, they were a bit more oily for me. So take your pick. Choose gole di hatti near by if you wanna have light chole bhaturas.
Siddhesh Shirkar
Here is the place for you where giani's brand originated from... how could I miss the famous & amazing Rabri Falooda glass..
a definite go for the love of original rabri falooda \m/

Going back to our old favourite Giani di Hatti in Fatehpuri is one of a must do when we visit Delhi.

Although, Giani’s have got multiple branches across the city now, but the Rabri Faluda that you get here is unbeatable.
This is the original place where it all started and we remember coming here even as a child.
The taste is still the same and is still amazing.

They do not have any fancy presentation or seating, but you would still come here for the love of taste.
Fooddiaries.amritsari
Visited this place on numerous recommendations and it was absolutely worth visiting. Tried cholle Bhature and their famous rabri faluda both items were drool worthy 👌👍
Anshu Arora
The old and most famous faluda outlet in delhi. Recently I visited delhi and my first priority to try giani’s faluda and it made my whole day.
Harshita
Hey Delhites
Presentating to you Giani's must have KULFI FALUDA.
You should try this because Food makes you happy 😋😋
It is located in Fatehpuri, Chandni Chowk, Delhi.
Crowded place but that doesn't affect the quality of food.
Price - Rs.90/- per glass.
⭐5/5
...
If you haven't tried this you are missing alot.
Jyoti Singh
I have tried their Rabri faluda many times and the taste has been consistent. It's not the best one for sure but good enough to make you return. not sure about other dishes though
Mansi
Giani's falooda in Chandni Chowk is one of the oldest faluda shops. It's a little unhygienic because of the flies. The faluda is served with ice, rabri which is nice and thick and a very peculiar sugar syrup. I love this faluda but the last time that I tried it, it wasn't that nice. Also, the owner is a bit mean. But they serve a generous amount of faluda for 50 INR, so it becomes a must try
Anant Natu
We had heard a lot about this place. When we went there last Sunday evening, their Chhole bhatures were sold out, but we had Kulfi Faluda. It was delicious and one of the best that I had. Highly recommended.
Do_bhukkad_
The very famous and old shop in delhi where you get different types of Shakes and Rabri Faluda and in winters you can get Halwa which is made in pure desi ghee.
Dhaval Prajapati
This outlet provides different kinds of shakes and falooda. Falooda of Giani's is very famous but i love shake much i drunk pineapple shakes and falooda also.
Prateek Goel
Nice place I visited this place many times it's Rabri Faluda is so delicious 🤤😋
It's a must visited place and have tasty yummy 😋 Rabri faluda
Nidhi Rathore
What I drank? - Rabri Faluda, Pineapple Shake.
They are the oldest shop in Chandni chowk to serve Kulfi falooda.
They put good amount of rabri and vermicelli in a tall glass. Then it is topped with sugar syrup and then ice is crushed into it.❤
The one huge glass will be good enough to complete all by yourself.😋
Mohit Gupta
Easily in top 5 places of Delhi for Chole Bhature. You can never get bored of this place.
Tip - Always ask them to make bhature extra crispy. Trust me, it makes all the difference.
Prabhat Gusain
Trust me this place is not as good as those stupid food bloggers tell you . It's just a normal rabdi faluda with too much crushed ice for anybody's liking.
I just hate when people think ohh this place is old so it's good and a big slap on those stupid so called food bloogers who promote it.
And the chole bhature are to just average
Aviral Jindal
This shop is more than 63 years old serving their famous rabri faluda. It’s quite heavy and full of dry fruits. The taste of rabri faluda is exactly as it was years back
Rating 5*
Recommendation: must try
Mandeep Singh
I had the famous rabri falooda. It is a must have if you are ever in chandni chowk. It is the perfect dessert after a fulfilling meal at kake di hatti. On my next visit, will like to try more of what they have to offer
Yumyumping
A Shop that has been here for 6 decades!!! 63 years!! Blows my mind and really makes the whole visit here worthwhile!!

80 rupees a glass! Had their famous rabri faluda!! With a very generous amount of honey!! Alot of it!!!

I loved it !! However I might not have it daily because it was quite rich and very heavy on the stomach!!

So sharing a glass would probably be a good idea!!! :)

Shashank Agarwal
This place is very frequently visited by me. Like I visit this place more than 4 times a week. It serves choley bhaturas , rajma chawal along with the legendary rabri Faluda, milkshakes and ice creams.
Princy Tomar
I simply love their rabdi falooda. The quality and taste of their rabdi is unmatched in Delhi. I have eaten it countless times and i'm yet to be disappointed.

In this boiling summer what will you get better than the cold chilled rabri faluda of ginani . The refreshment drink for summer . You can't resist having this dessert after the hot parathas of gali.
Shivani
If you ever visit old Delhi....plz do visit this shop in fatehpuri ..Giani's di Hatti. The khoya faluda is the best thing in the world nd mango shake was also very good.
It's a request.. do visit there.😍😍
Apoorva Gokare
The Mango Milkshake is the besttttt!!!!! Every visitor to Delhi must come over to Chandni Chowk to drink this. Worth it guys!!! It's the best.
Vimmy Ahuja
If you are around Chandni Chowk, do take a tour to this place for the heavenly rabri faluda - the best till date that I have had. It is rich in flavor, it is super filling and it is icy cold. Nothing can beat the summer heat better!
Piyush|| Pinch Of Flavours
Irritated from scorching heat of sun and if uh are near purani delhi then must try these another gem of Chandni chowk ...Giani di hatti special rabri faluda and mango shake 😍😍 totally worth ur penny , fresh faluda and the rabri served with faluda is so authentic types ...uh definately in love with this place just try them out 😛😍♥️.
A big thumbs up from my side 🔥
KARAN BEHERA
Went here going by the review but trust me, there is nothing as such. I had chole bhature, faluda kulfi and halwa. Only the halwa was good. The quality and taste is not meeting the reviews. There is huge crowd and long waiting que at the counter. The staff is arrogant, rude and non responsive. Seating is small and you have to wait for your turn to sit and eat. You can actually get better quality, taste and service at any other Giani's shop near you. Going here is a wastage of time and money.
Sayan Saha
The best place for dessert i guess.. I heard the name of this place from my friend & so decided to go there. U can find different shakes, gajar ka halwa and the best part is rabri faluda. I didn't tried something like that before and I loved it a lot. It provides u with a sugar syrup with rabri and faluda on top😘 Even if u visit at 10-11pm, one need to wait to for the dessert because of its lip smacking dessert 😋😋
Ayushi Sharma
Had chhole bhatoore and lassi.
Taste was quite yumm. Chhole had a good blend of spices. Bhatoore was light n fluffy.
Accompanied with onion chutney and green chilly it is a must have whenever you visit Chandni chowk.
Lassi was light n normal sweet..

Costed RS 140 value for money..
Taste 4/5
Ambience normal street outlet/dhaba style
Quite crowded on weekends.
Born As Bhukkads
This place is a must-visit for people visiting old Delhi for lip-smacking food well it is not the ordinary giani shop that you see in your localities so dont be fooled by it. It serves rabri faluda, choley bhature, palal choley chawal, rajma chawal and many more dishes.

We ordered choley bhature which were kind of okayish and then its famous rabri faluda which the best of one we ever had although our tummy was already full by the choley bhature but still the faluda found its way which was absolutely delicious.

Choley bhature - 3/5

Rabri faluda - 5/5

Love Eating❤️
Gurpreet Sandhu
Extremely good place for quick bites! I tried the very traditional chhole bhature and to my expectations, they were really tasty. Service was also on time and the quality was very good.
Komal Soni
Finally!! The most famous place(Chandni Chowk) of the city has the most famous dessert!! *RABDI FALOODA*.. The quality of the RABDI was too good.. Though I had it in the evening but the taste of rabdi didn't degrade.. The mixture of rabdi, falooda and crushed ice was felt like heaven when tasted! Must try!!
The old legacy that continues. This place is an epitome of all the Gianis franchise in India. Gianis gained popularity from this place so we had to try here.

To our utter surprise, Gianis not only serve shakes, ice creams but also amazing Chhole bhature, palak chhole chawal, rajma chawal and much more.

We ordered half plate of chhole bhature and half plate of palak chhole chawal which together coated us 90 bucks only.

Chhole bhature is certainly a must try here though, we didn't like palak chhole much since there was no major flavour in it.

The best thing for which this place is famous, Rabri Faluda which is prepared round the clock here.
A giant vessel containing thick rabri is eye popping for sure.
Take away of Rabri faluda cost 85 bucks and is really heavy yet really really good. Just as you could find in Punjab with real rabri flavour.

If you visit chandi chowk, this place should be a part of your list
Aleem
This outlet near Fatehpuri Masjid in Chandni Chowk has been serving delicious Rabri Kulfi & Lip smacking Choley Bhature and Rajma Chawal since decades.
Do have a glass of their Jeera Lassi. That's a must match with the Bhatura.

Presenting you to the famous Chole Bhauture of Giani di Hatti in Chandini chowk. I have orderd a plate of chole bhature with a glass of lassi . The combination goes well together. The combination absolutely delicious and pocket friendly. And at last the Rabri faluda was like cherry on top of the cake😋 The service and food was overall good ❤ and it is a must try combination😊

Located adjacent to Kake di hatti, its a place that serves my all time favorite falooda and other goodies based on the weather.
They also serve delicious gajar ka halwa and moong daal halwa in winters which are to die for. In summers, they serve mango shake which is also very delicious.

Lovely and delicious way to get a relief from the scorching heat of delhi❤️❤️😍😍.....
The place is known for its kulfi falooda and it is definitely the best❤️❤️❤️

Someone has truth old is always gold . So one of the oldest (first ) giani 's has its old taste and value which is carried out by the generations . Taste is very good and I can say not one of the best but very good as I have eaten one of the best faluda which by someone who was a hawker . But still giani's is very much good .
Sanjana Madhusudhan
Insisted on trying gianis cause of its popularity. Tried the mango shake and it was beautifully thick and had a very creamy consistency. Just what I imagined it to be. However, it was priced a little on the higher side was what I felt.
Tanmeet Singh(Captain Paji)
Giani's Di Hatti is serving their famous Rabri Faluda on the popular street of Chandni Chowk. It is a sweet dish made with milk. I find it one of the most amazing sweet dish I have ever tasted. It is also filled with high-quality dry fruit.

I could not find anything special at this place. These places in old Delhi are now just cashing their brand name. Be it Paranthe Wali Gali or this eatery. These are just like any other eating joints serving normal food. Non wow factor. visit once due to take a feel of its heritage value.

Owesome chole bhutare , chole are real treat to taste buds ,bhutare are too oily . The best is their falluda ,lip smacking 😋 , authentic place for chole bhutare lovers .

At the distance of 50 meters from Fatehpuri Mosque, is the shop of Giani di Hatti. Here you can test Rabdi Phaluda with delicious desserts. In the whole of Delhi, you will not get sweets like this. Here, with the rabdi, the faluda and milk are given by putting ice from above. which calms the heat of Delhi. You will also like carrot and moong dal halwa here.
Faiyaz Hawawala
Love their falooda here. Its always crowded. A glass of falooda with extra rabdi after a nice meal at kake di hatti is a must while visiting chandni chowk. They also have ice creams and shakes but falooda is their highest selling item i guess
Priyam Goyal
Its Rabri Faluda is awesome. I am having it since 10 years and it always satisfiy my cravings. Though its price is high, earlier I used to have this at ₹40 but now it is ₹80. But its value for money.

It is the most famous ice cream shop in Delhi 6. We tried their rabri faaloda which was amazing, it was perfect both in terms of quality and quantity.

Gyanis is one of the most famous ice cream brands, and arguably the one that is recognizable easily. Tried their most famous rabri faluda and mango shake(recommendation of a friend). And indeed it was good. The mango shake was nominally priced and one of the best shakes I've tasted. It wasn't gimmicky at all and was all about its content and taste. The rabri faluda was pretty good too, but wasn't very extraordinary that a person goes especially to try it. Would definitely recommend having their mango shake.

17th April, Wednesday

The final stop was Giani di hatti for its famous Rabdi falooda.
