Review Bo Tai Qutub - New Delhi

Anita Anand
The place is lovely. We sat outdoors, overlooking the Qutub in semi comfortable seating with lots of plants around us. The food was very good but the service needs help. It's hard to their attention and they quite slow.

Probably one of my favourite restaurants in all of Delhi NCR. What I tried this time: šŸ•Signature Pizzette: A crisp Pizette topped with shaved asparagus, finely sliced avocados and parmesan cheese. Light, delicious, and excellent way to start your meal. šŸ” Distended Chicken Nam Prik Pao: Batter crisped chicken bites tossed in a Chilli Jam. A flavour šŸ’£ of Umami goodness and light sweetness. šŸ„ Medley of Frangible Mushrooms: Assorted tempura mushrooms tossed with scallions in a light dressing. Delicious, crisp and juicy. šŸ„Ÿ Cream cheese dumplings: The bright colour pop šŸŸ , coupled with the rich cream cheese filling is a delight. I personally love dunking it in chilli oil. šŸ¦€ Mango Soft shell crab with Rocket: A spicy fried softshell crab with a beautiful rocket salad and toasted coconut leaves your lips tingling šŸ„µ šŸ« Belgian chocolate tart with coffee mousse: Breaking the barrier of average desserts in a savoury menu, the Mousse was par-excellence šŸ’« šŸ¹Pom Tam Cola: A surprisingly refreshing blend of Pomegranate, Tamarind and Cold Brew Coffee. The blend of flavours is pure genius šŸ§

Dined in as we were around the area and have heard a lot about this place. Our dining experience was good due to the service and the drinks they served. 1) Ambience- 3/5 - Its a good hangout place for college students. The vibe was good and refreshing. 2) Service- 5/5 - Our noodles were redone as we didnā€™t like it first time. 3) Food- 3/5 4) Drinks- 5/5 We loved the drinks but the food was not that great. Itā€™s a Thai restaurant whereas the food was not that close to Thai. We really like the Thai green curry but no vegetables were added in the curry. Didnā€™t like the dumplings and the noodles were not at all nice.

A delightful experience with a view of the Qutub Minar. Pretty ambience and great food! We made prior reservations for a Friday afternoon but I guess you could just walk in as it was not crowded at all. Some fancy drinksšŸ¹to start with and PiƱa Colada was my fav. Pretty gourmet style food without compromising on flavors. The charcoal shrimp dumpling were my personal favorite. However Iā€™m pretty sure my family would differ and give Sushi the first place. A close second would be the pineapple fried rice which even my parents who are trying it for the first time seem to enjoy a lot. The chocolate fondue šŸ«• was the cherry šŸ’ on the cake. All in all an afternoon well spent with family. I would have given 5āļø but one less for the slow service despite less crowd. Great staff! Certainly pricey but could certainly try for a special occasion.

This place is very fancy. The food was very good. We came early and the kitchen didnā€™t open until 6:30. The dynamite shrimp was amazing. One of the most expensive meals weā€™ve had in Delhi but very tasty and authentic Thai food. No high chairs I wouldnā€™t recommend bringing a toddler.

Really good food. We ordered prawns, dimsum, sushi and everything was awesome. Thai chicken was average. We had their special cocktail which comes in round glass and that was also very nice but very less in quantity. Rooftop is well lit and set. Music is too loud, I mean you just can't sit and relax so we left after eating. Somewhere they need to understand the difference between club and pub.

It's really an amazing place for enjoy the great ambience with perfect food.. if you're really in pasta pizza or Street food style so this place is not for you. If you're coming for a perfect date, or coming for the international menu so this place is perfect for you. I've enjoyed my foodšŸ„° and photo sessionšŸ¤. I wanna give 5 star for service.

Great place, amazing view of qutub minar. It's a fab place for date nights.

Bo Tai is in a great location. The restaurant is on the second floor to where you take the lift. It's half indoors and half terrace. Inside the music is rather annoying and mostly a steady pounding. They need a music consultant, for sure. Soft, elegant jazz would quite transform the atmosphere. Choose your seating carefully. Our place was quite wet. There's also quite a jet-like noise from fans and the breeze can hit you forcefully. Forget your hairdo. The food is decent. Cocktails are very nice and dessert is pretty good.

The place is lovely, the ambience great, with a view to qutub minar. It was beautifully lit up. The food and drinks were great, though the waiter didn't know the drinks menu very well but then he hot the bartender who obviously knew his stuff. Overall great experience and also good value for money and service. Thank you.

1st impressions were decent but had a frustrating experience with ordering via the online ordering system. The food was excellent though! However service was a bit disappointing. I was expecting a much better experience for the price point.

We came here after visiting dear Donna and glad we changed venues . From service to drinks and availability of sheesha was a plus. There was a private party so entire staff was sucking up to them but still they were managing our orders . My friends told me they have really nice food but we only had drinks this time . Dj refused to take any request because they only wanted to play what the private party people wanted. In this case you should close the club for the rest but they let other people in. Even thought there were few mess ups , I would say the staff was still accommodating and I would like to visit them again .

Attended my friendā€™s Bday party. Non veg Starters were good especially fish and prawns. Vegetarian snacks were in short supply. Bar is just ordinary while I was expecting it to be something special and highlight of the evening, most of the mocktails were high in sugar. Loved the exotic veg in Main course however chicken curry was extra salty. Desserts were disappointing except choco tart. However the ā€œ lighted Qutub Minar ā€œ experience is so mesmerising and beautiful that it makes one get attracted to this place.

Indeed a fine dining place which is best suited to have romantic conversation and endless chats with friends! Entrance was quite exciting and gives you the exciting feel with the stack of wine bottles. Place gives you the quite luxurious feel. We have ordered Full moon cocktail, elder flower cocktail and gin and tonic cocktail. In main course we have ordered sticky rice, Thai curry and red curry with cashewnut and fried onions. In desserts we have ordered mango icecream and tart! Staff was extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. Visit this place once atleast! Thankyou guys for serving us.

Good experience, best location, with Qutub minar view.

Visited the place for lunch with a friend and loved the location - you can see qutub minar from the establishment. We opted for the inside seating - obvious reasons (Delhi's summer). We started with scallop carpachio, Stuffed mushrooms with corn and cheese (loved them) Chicken florets Dumpling - veg and chicken shrimp (amazing colour) Larb kai Warm corn coconut salad Crab cakes Jackfruit taco (mouthwatering) Butterfly shrimp with couscous (delish) Deconstructed paneer dish with fried veggies cheese and rice This was all gobbled down with few of there signature drinks. In the main we got the Thai red curry (veg) and lamb chops with Au jus paired them with some steamed plain rice and it was just divine!!! The dessert thought we were full could not be missed - we ordered the mango icecream with kabocha pie (fabulous). Full marks plus some on the presentation - everything was meticulously presented. Staff was courteous, quick, knowledgeable and took extremely well care of us throughout the visit. I would love to visit again for dinner and njoy the outside seating. They also have Valet parking is available at the establishment.

Very good overall experience . Good food and ambience . Good view.

Average food. Worst service. Make sure you check your bill. Staff is incapable of handling a busy night!! Not worth the money or time, better to order in Noshi and spare yourself the trouble.

Great cocktails - wonderful music - pleasant ambience.

After a long hiatus of 7 months we finally ventured out for fine dining as it was my daughter's birthday. We chose Bo tai as it had outdoor seating and we love the food .All safety measures were taken. We excitedly orders from the digital menu. To our dismay what we got on the table was 2 plates of cold dimsums and 2 bowl of cold soup . They did promptly replace it but the second round wasn't hot too( aren't dimsums steamed fresh andhot ) The staff was sorry for this butbthe chef says that they got cold on reaching the table (šŸ™„šŸ˜€ surprisingly). The 2 star less fir this .
But the main course was amazingly yummy . The girls loved the pad thai and sticky rice . The staff compensated for the starter disaster with a complimentary chocolate platter for my daughter's birthday .They also gave a discount which wasn't asked for . nevertheless, thanks .
The 3 starts are for the staffs response and awesome main course .the ambience and safety measures also call for appreciation .
The 2 star less so that they don't t repeat this again and improve on the excuse of the dimsums getting cold on reaching the table šŸ˜€šŸ™„.Overall we enjoyed our first dinner out after so many months and looking forward to many more lovely dinners which will be flawless.

Everything about this place speaks out to be authentic Thai cuisine!
A bit fan of their Thai green curry
Was amazed with the rice dumplings :)
Thanks for delivering safely

My best friend and I chose Bo Tai for our first night out post the pandemic induced lockdown, and we loved every second of our visit there. The food was as close to authentic Thai as you can get in India, and our cocktails were amazing!!
Credit goes to our server Mr. Shivam, he was very considerate with his suggestions, and made the dinner a very good experience.
Thank you to Shivam and the team at Bo Tai, excellent cocktails and an amazing ambience outside!! We will definitely be back here soon :)

I ordered for prawn Thai curry, Tom kha soup and veg Pad Thai noodles a few days ago. Firstly they sent Tom yum instead of Tom kha, the soup had an oily layer on top. The pad Thai was not authentic rather tasted like Chinese noodles. The prawns were the worst they were actually stale. Had a really bad experience and regretted wasting my money.

This place was on my list from a long time.
The place looked classy, as expected.
Staff was courteous, as expected.
Quality of the food was very good, as expected. Price of the food was expensive, as expected.
Presentation was no different either .
Everything was as expected except for the view from the outdoor sitting and the taste.
Lamb satay was dry and chewy. Tom-Yum soup was more of a shorba(yes i know the difference)
Spinach fried rice were basic .
Pad thai ware actually very good.
Deserts were average.
So this place recommended for a experience/rich experience.
Food lovers can skip.

Follow my page on Instagram and Facebook for collaboration and promotions contact
#eaterstreet
My newest experience is @Bo tai
Thai food was something I didnā€™t like earlier may be I never tried it at right place but if a person really want to enjoy good Thai food this fine dining is the place to visit in Mehrauli, giving a view of Qutub minar, though the day I went there it was raining heavily n I couldnā€™t make it to sit outside.
So here what all I ordered

For starters Smelter Rice flour dumplings.
chilli, sampalak - they were delight to my eyes, little purple in colour, very small size dumpling but the taste and the filling of those dumpling was at par. Little crunchy on outside, the chef must have toasted them a little bit and absolute smoothness inside. Rich in flavours, sesame sprinkled on the top of it with little sweet n sour chutney on top .
Mere perfection

In drinks
orange lemonade-a simple drink , I would say little over rated . The flavour of orange was spot on ,made up with orange, lemon and soda

Image-3- Virgin pina colada- Served in very authentic way. The flavour of coconut was refreshing. A good drink to compliment with starters

Image-4- Red Thai curry with
Veg spinach Fried Rice. Absolutely amazing red Thai curry ,the richness of the curry was spot on, it was creamy ,flavour full with lots of vegetables inside. Perfectly seasoned. Fell in love with it . Spinach Rice was cooked perfectly with corns. Highly recommended.
Quantity was also good

Last but not the least
Image-5- Coconut CrĆØme Brulee. Very good presentation. I could hear the sound of breaking caramelised sugar on the top of brulee. And once you dig in to those two little peace of coconut it will take you to diff place. Amazing taste , right amount of sweetness, it was so creamy and cold . Tried very first time and fell in love. Highly recommended anytime .

So thatā€™s all I ordered
Really want to thank @bo tai for amazing experience.
Would definitely go back on one fine day
Perfect place to enjoy a dinner date or family dinner
The Street Stalkers
Went to Bo-Tai, for a lunch.
This was the first time after the lockdown has been lifted.
The place was maintained well for social distancing. And also all the necessary precautions were taken properly.
The food was amazing as always!
We ordered, Avacado Salad, it was tasty and was garnished well with Seasoned Coconut.
For Starters, we had Stuffed Mushrooms, if youā€™re a vegetarian - you should definitely HAVE this one.
We also had vegetarian Dimsums.
For mains we ordered Thai curry and Jasmine Rice. And this was so tasty! Surely worth it all.
The only thing you look forward to during pandemic would be precautionary measures being taken while ordering outside food. Thanks to these restaurants for making our lives easier. The Thai curry and dimsums were to die for!

Mehrauli has developed as an amazing place to dine in a very pristine environment, Bo-Tai a new edition in this club made its mark with its outstandingĀ Thai cuisine topped with very innovative gin-based cocktails, the place has both indoor and outdoor setting to compliment your mood and its close proximity to Qutub make it more pretty during the day time, Tofu was the best i had but none the less every dish has its own aura, ambience is something which need little more detailing to make it one of the most premium one

Bo Tai is a beautiful outlet near Qutub Minar and from where you can actually see Qutub Minar and enjoy the beauty around the place. Its on the second floor with indoor and outdoor arrangements. As soon as you enter when you see staffs smiling faces it brings smile to our face as well. Thanks to Zeba and to her smile. The indoor has the bar in the center and it was amazing. We wanted to enjoy vitamin D so we opted for outdoor one and it was damn good. The ambience that was created and the seats gave a natural look to it.
Bo Tai is known for their Thai delicacies and living the medieval times. First we had cocktails and I must say that they have a varied collections. I had the full moon festival which has a gin base and it was so beautiful that I was staring at it for sometime and then I had a sip of it. It comes in a bowl with moon shaped opening. It was relishing with flowers. We had raw mango salad which was soothing to the palate. Then for starters we had Tofu and I must tell you guys that it was one of the best tofu I have ever had. Also, had king size prawns which were delicious and well prepared. In mocktails we had ordered pineapple one which had tonic and watermelon and rose.
For main course we had rice with stir fried veggies and red snapper. It was a healthy and wholesome. Ended our meal with Mango ice cream with crumble and one with mango pudding with sticky rice.
All their dishes had Thai ingredients and influence which I loved a lot. Thanks to Shivam for guiding us throughout when it came to food and drinks. He gave us insights about the ingredients and how it has been prepared. Also thanks to Roshan as these guys were knowledgeable and cordial. Our experience was amazing and thanks to Bo Tai for their scrumptious dishes and experience.

This restaurant is set on a rooftop looking over the local area. Beautiful modern restaurant with delicious Thai food. I would recommend the red Thai curry, the prawns starter and the coconut creme brƻlƩe for dessert. The restaurant will cater to your needs. The only downfall was the wine list. Brilliant restaurant

Massaman Lamb Curry: Succulent lamb in the most delicate Massaman curry i have ever eaten!

Wok Tossed Chicken with Cashews: Perfect blend of aromas which revealed a bit of Thai and a bit of European punch

Steamed Jasmine Rice: A staple which amalgamated it allĀ

This is one of those rare restaurants which reserves 5 star. The courtesy, politeness and service is A grade. And although the food is costly, but the taste and quantity is excellent. I will visit this restaurant one more time šŸ˜€

We visited this place for breakfast and dinner. The place is very conveniently located with ample parking space. The food at both the meals was tasty and definitely worth the price. Good quantity served per portion. Service as also good. Overall , a good place to have food . Would recommend it definitely.

Last week i ordered
I had: black forest cake form here through zomato
this was the best place for cakes. they are serving the huge variety of cakes under one roof. I really like the taste of cake. I impressed with packaging, thats was really good and delivery came on time, cake was fully decorate, designing, looking was great and price was decent.
Highly recommended.

Having an individual encounter I would state not simplyĀ CP have a vibe, so does bo tai have.. Its a perfectly made cafĆ© with immense and stunning ambiance. The staff is liberal and will make you so agreeable that you do not wish to return.
The food is remarkable. Me and my companions made some wonderful memories and this was something I was truly searching for.

We ordered crispy tofu and fried potato dish called patata bravas. It was not worth the money we paid. Their was nothing special about the dish as the fried tofu tasted exactly like chilly paneer and patata bravas tasted like creamy aloo dum. We didn't feel like putting more money and ordering something else. Not at all satisfied. But I must say the service was good, all the staffs were polite and welcoming.

Special celebration calls for a special place to celebrate it. We chose Bo Tai as this special place to celebrate a special person's birthday. No regret no disappointment there (just a little one).

I love oriental taste and flavours and the food here was an AMAZING treat to our taste buds. What friends said about the place was completely true.

The starters stuffed mushroom, corn n cheese, crispy prawns, Chicken dim sum and pork belly were made to perfection and well presented. The taste was as good as the looks, amazing.

For mains we had minced Chicken with jasmine flavored Rice, Melange with wold mushrooms and sliced Belgian pork belly.
Every dish had its own distinctly delicious taste.

The courtesy, politeness and service is A grade. And although the food is costly, but the taste is excellent.
It is a very sobre yet classy fine dine nestled in Mehrauli.

Disappointments: No WiFi, small portions, no loud music (like it uses to be), NO BAR (they had their bar license revoked and it wasn't displayed anywhere otherwise we would have gone somewhere else) were the only disappointments we had.

[Couldn't take photos of all dishes.]

It was a unique and very special experience as no matter who you are, you feel so welcomed and loved. The staff doesnā€™t hesitate to explain each dish and they even give you a brief story about the beginnings of the place. Apart from that, the food is an explosion of flavours. You can literally feel the flavours change in your mouth so subtly while completing each other. We had the wok tossed diced chicken which was so well cooked and crunchy, probably one of the most well cooked meats Iā€™ve eaten. Then the massaman curry is the highlight, which is so creamy and flavourful, thereā€™s nothing like it. They couldnā€™t serve cocktails but the mocktails were so great that, we didnā€™t feel anything missing in the meal. If you want a great experience with some mind blowing food, you must visit it.

An afternoon of flavourful delights!Ā

We ordered a Signature Cocktail proposed by the mixologist and it set the mood for everything which came after that! The No-Name cocktail mixed with Elderflower Syrup was not only a visual delight; apparently it was going to be showcased at a cocktail event! We were thrilled to be tasting it before it went live on the menu.Ā

After that we just went with what the host proposed...which included:

Massaman Lamb Curry: Succulent lamb in the most delicate Massaman curry i have ever eaten!Ā
Wok Tossed Chicken with Cashews: Perfect blend of aromas which revealed a bit of Thai and a bit of European punch
Steamed Jasmine Rice: A staple which amalgamated it allĀ

We rinsed all that with another round of No-Name cocktail! Bo Tai had us transfixed!Ā

I could have written a technical review but it was more than a meal, it was a delectable sojourn! We will be back soon!

A good first experience, however the night we went, there was an issue with their bar so never got to experience their cocktails etc.
Food was excellent.Ā Also there was a party of teenagers so very loud and took away from the ambience.Ā Will have to go back to really give it a fair review.

You call it and they have it. Best range of authentic oriental flavors and served here with complete perfection in its presentation. Also the place surrounds with best in class aura and inviting interiors.

They r overpriced and the portion size is shockingly small!! The staff seems confused. Not a very nice experience.

Like all other massive group outlets, Bo Tai also provides exemplary services to it's guests... It is a very sobre yet classy fine dine nestled in Mehrauli... Good place to have a classy cocktail and dinner. Too crowded at 10pm on a Friday night. Advance booking a must. We had to leave by 930 as we had a 'one hour slot' and the staff kept asking for further order or serving what was on the table... like you can't even have a conversation!

This place has an awesome vibe. Gr8 music, super food, drinks, lovely terrace, itā€™s the full package. The plus side, place is open well beyond 1 am. They also have a private terrace for events which should be an awesome party place!
Went after reading the high zomato rating and reviews for dinner . The music was super loud and on top of it they put on us on a table right next to the huge speakers . After that we moved outside, and the music continued to be disturbingly loud. I ordered the veg dumplings and didn't really like them , they were not tasty and super spicy . The manager came to serve and I refused with a smile saying that we didn't like the dish. He just picked up the plate that was still full of the dumplings , and just walked off!!! No apologies , not even an effort to find out what was wrong . That was really crude and inhospitable . Just when I was prepared for the worst, the main course made up for it , being tasty and we all ate heartily . But throughout there was no conversation at the table becoz we didn't fancy shouting guts out due to LOUD music .
All in all ... Good food( apart from my starter), service could be much better and more tuned into the guests. The concern was totally missing . After a long time I've seen such an aloof attitude towards guests .

The best Thai sustenance in the Capital city. The spot is very good.Their climate is astonishing. We requested an assortment of veggie lover dishes on their menu and cherished their dimsums and soups. The spot is extremely worth attempting in the event that you like this cooking. The administration is astonishing and the staff is incredible. Completely prescribed!

Exquisite interiors of the dining room and open bar pouring out of a Magnum size bottle of Bo Tai, Mehrauli is a Thai restaurant which we have been meaning to go for a long time. Finally we were here to squeeze a stop for a quick bite. Under the brain child of Zorawar & Dildeep Kalra and Chef Sahil Singh this restaurant is already enjoying success with innovative Thai cooking and comprehensive cocktails. This is a very sumptuous restaurant, from good food to the decor where both eating and drinking is well worth the visit.Bo Tai can be categorized as ā€˜hipsterā€™ where we get the most innovative cocktails, the perfect and soothing indoor and outdoor decor, the cool crowd ā€” it all comes together so perfectly. The bar is filled with a selection of private imports sure to impress even the pickiest oenophile, the wine collection is another plus.

Keeping it short and simple.

Definitely a try out - Average food - Real good cocktails - Service should certainly be improved upon - Great music and vibes - Chairs and meal tables are shoddy for a massive restaurants product.

A great place for fine dining.
However, The exclusivity that the people have associated with this restaurant is a little overrated in my opinion.

The drinks and food are picture worthy indeed but lack the taste that many other fine dining restaurants provide.

The atmosphere is nothing to brag about, the centralized AC dent from above was dripping water which i didn't expect from such a place

Don't expect a lot from this place. I would rate it below dramz and olive bar & kitchen which is just adjacent to it.
Manish Maheshwari
A horrible and insulting experience. This place is infamous for a snooty and hyped approach to taking reservations. They first say they are full, then offer the early evening slot only. When we went today after having a reservation, which they could find after 30 seconds of hemming and hawing. Then they tries as usual, to seat us in the lousiest table in the restaurant, back of the place, facing a service door and full of smell of fumes from recent paint polish. All the other tables were "reserved" for regulars. As if we were there because they did us a favor and we were paying with demonetised currency. !!
How does one reserve a table with a particular view when they visit the place for the 1st time ? I guess they have to work their way up from the kitchen to a good table after spending many evenings and thousands of Rs. in this overpriced joint. Funny thing was the manager Sukrit (very unhospitable and obstinate) allowed a family with children to sit around the area they were giving us a table in, totally against their policy, but was not flexible at all in giving us another table. I thinkĀ he called the security too which I noticed when we anywayĀ Ā left with disgust. Form is temporary but class is permanent. They will never have the half the class their neighbour Olive has. They can try to be happening and hip, but don't belong in the hospitality business.

We landed at this restaurant after reading good things in various social networking sites. We called to make a reservation and was greeted by loud music, from a private party happening there, when we arrived. We were shown to a room where there were just two tables, with a couple of flies constantly buzzing around. The plates were not so clean too. We ordered a number of things which were average. This included crispy lotus stem, roti canal, crispy prawns, steamed chicken etc which were all just okay. The truffle scented corn and spinach fried rice , however was simply superb!! The scallops and pork belly too were just average. The chocolate dessert was good whilst the sticky rice mango pudding was bad.

Amazing food , very friendly and helpful staff. They customised the drink for as I have described what kind of test I prefer. And they made me the most amazing that I ever had.

Sampled the Chef's Tasting Meal. An absolute stunner, exceeding all expectations. Each dish was beautifully presented, enhancing the experience. Crab, Spare Ribs, Prawn, Fish, Mussel, Lamb, Duck, Chicken. You name it, they plated it. Exotic and delectable, it was a meal to remember. We were entertaining some guests from overseas, and they were very impressed. The signature cocktails are an added bonus, as is the lovely ambiance and friendly service. Compliments to the chef, staff and management. We're definitely coming back!

This place seems customer unfriendly. I have called several times for a table but they always say come and sit on the. At stools at the bar. Do they never have space or donā€™t want us to visit ??

Decided to visit for lunch with friends and really enjoyed the food ,

A bit pricy but the food was worth it.

They make mocktails as per your preference and the bartender wont let u down.

Iā€™ve really enjoyed Bo Tai a couple of times now. The food is good - artfully presented and tasty. We had calamari, prawns, dumplings, and more. The Wine list is extensive although the usual out of stocks can be frustrating.

My gripe with Bo Tai is the inconsistent 2-sitting rule. We had the early slot on a Saturday with most tables unoccupied until it really picked up at 9:30. We were moved on, albeit politely and a little after 9:30 where two early tables were left to languish. As it stands most tables were only getting one turn so the process feels not only inhospitable but also non-commercial from the restaurants perspective.

Anyway. I digress. Bo Tai is a gorgeous space. Cool vibe. Good food.

Made a reservation for 7:30PM and reached the restaurant before 8pm to celebrate a special occasion with close friends. We were a bunch of 5 merry folks who thought Bo Tai will give an experience of a lifetime! We promptly ordered our cocktails and starters and were enjoying ourselves, when a staff comes around 8:45pm to inform us rather rudely that our slot gets over at 9:30pm and we need to order our dinner and this needs to be carried to the bar counter post 9:30pm!! Now we were getting ready to order our next round of drinks and a bottle of champagne to take the evening forward.....this indeed came as a rude shock!! We told the staff that we were not informed of the slot system and this is so uncourteous and unethical and against the hospitality norms.... and yes this is coming from me who is an international traveler having been all over and holding a CEO position in an MNC! The staff was very rude and insisted that we will need to vacate the table at 9:30pm ....
We could not handle the insult any longer and we decided to leave at 8:55pm.... the staff seemed unapologetic and callous for their behaviour .... a big surprise ! The staff taking our payment was chewing gum and taking out payment as though doing us a favour ..... very arrogant and should be sacked! I am taking the time out and writing this long experience to caution folks what they are in store for ....seriously not acceptable and we felt humiliated! A big thumbs down to Bo Tai and may God give humility and sense of direction to your staff.

We made a reservation for 8pm on Saturday night and reached on time for drinks and dinner. We had hardly finished one round of drinks and appetisers, that their manager comes and ask us to leave the table at 9pm and tells us to have our dinner while standing as they had already booked the same table for 9:30. We looked around and the entire restaurant was empty and we or the next reservation could have easily been accommodated anywhere else in the restaurant. We thought they were joking and continued to understand what is the reason for this strange and rude behaviour to us which was an age group of 55+ years.
We were 5 (3 women & 2 men) of us and how much longer can an elderly group of people have drinks and dinner beyond ..max 1.5 hours.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO EVER Go to this place for dinner or drinks. I wish they understood hospitality and above all ethics to speak with your customers even if they were to not have any regard of our age as senior citizens.

If you want to have the best Thai food in the Capital city, then this place is for you. The place is always lit and serves amazing thai food. They have a dedicated chef for the cuisine who will take care of your requirements and requests with respect to each items in your order. We ordered a variety of vegetarian dishes on their menu and loved their dimsums and soups. The place is really worth trying if you like this cuisine. The service is amazing and the staff is great. Totally recommended!

Great restaurant with a great vibe. The food here exceeded expectations and the service standards are set apart. The look and feel of the restaurant is appealing. The drinks are the center of attraction here with the unique ways and glassware used to present them. A must visit for a experience.

I went with my family for dinner on Wednesday Night.

The place was packed and flowing with Cocktails as there was a party going next door.

We ordered for

1. TOM YUM Soup : The soup was tangy and spicy, and not kinda my taste.

2. Tom Kha Soup : It was coconut base and was better than Tom Yum for me.

3. Veg Pizette : The best thing we had at the restaurant, it was like a burst of flavours in mouth. My family didn't liked it but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

4. Tofu, Straw Mushrooms with Black Pepper : We didn't enjoy the combination at all and felt Tofu was really difficult to finish.

5. Green Chicken Curry with Noodles : A pretty regular Thai Dish, nothing great.

The ambience was soothing, but since the music was really loud we couldn't talk much. Also I didn't like their chairs much.

The staff was courteous. I am big fan of Zorawar Kalra's restaurants, especially their food preparations and was kinda disappointed with this one.

Though the place is beautiful Iā€™m however unhappy with the service... first and foremost though the place is supposed to be open from 10.30 am to 1.30 am, when we walked in yesterday at 7... it seemed to be not open to public as staff was working at cleaning and lights and music off. When asked for a table after beig told they were ā€œsold outā€... (till we walked out post dinner around 8.15 though there was only a single table sold out)..they relented and offered a table at the side where service staff was continuously moving up and down hence making it uncomfortable though the other side was empty I donā€™t know why we were offered this side..The food was good though the mango sticky rice was good but the ice cream they offered with it was a very very tiny portion compared to the sticky rice helping .

Everytime I try to book a table at this place, they do not answer the phone and when I go there they point to an empty restaurant and say we are fully booked. They have guests coming after 2 hours and tell people physically present there that itā€™s full. Only one person in the staff understands the meaning of hospitality I only went back to this place after a bad experience because of that guy, the other staff members really need to be retrained. I will never be going to this place again as when we go to an expensive place, we pay for the experience, my food and drinks have always been good but the manager and most of the waiters (expect one) have a really bad attitude.

Beware. You cant Indian wear with open juttis. They create a real fuss if you do. Very astonishing since the owner is a Mayoite. Food experience was also below average. There were many flies in the outdoor area. Hope they make changes to their policies or atleast openly advertise it!

One of the best places I've eaten in at. I went here with a couple of companions from school for some great sustenance and extravagant mixed drinks and kid did it convey! I attempted 4 unique meats as 4 distinct luxuries in a solitary hour. I begrudged the general population on my snapchat who were having the blossom filled mixed drink at Bo Tai to such an extent I chose to go myself and attempt it....

This is a cool place to chill out, Coming from the brand of ZK. The speciality is cocktails but I have had amazing cocktails at other places too it's just that here it's presented in an amazing manner. I tried the full moon festival- it's gin based and I am not big on gin. But they offered to serve it as per their recommendation. The cocktail Äŗooked nice but was sweet.

In food I totally went by the recommendations and tired Avocado Cappracio, dimsums, steamed rice with thai curry and a salad. The food was kinda nice if you like pan asian or thai food. The flavours were bursting in mouth and really good. In desserts I liked their Kabucha tart it was superb. The best I had in a while. It was unusual made of a pumpkin.and served with mango ice cream but its a good dessert to try.

The brunch was a great experience! Loved the dimsums and the appetizer pizza. I think it will be much better during winters - will repeat then. Of course price is Very high. The ambience is more suited for dinner.

Another elegant restaurant in Mehrauli that is done beautifully and has an outdoor offering serene views. Good for parties, date nights, bashes and soirees.

The handcrafted cocktails are a hallmark of this beautiful place and they are presented so beautifully that you love their outer essence. But in my perspective the less flamboyant looking cocktails is the real signature of Bo tai. Mango Bango with prosecco, mango and apricots was just smooth and desirable. Had such an amazing bartender's poem after a long time. Negroni is good for Scotch lovers and you can almost taste the 12 year old Chivas in it. What a masterpiece!!

Talking about food, the less is more. We tried only few dishes and the portions were also miniscule so we actually got to taste the food by bites and eschew the flavour and memory of first two bites on our brains and toungues. After all that's the whole philosophy of good food. The first bite is the first impression.

So we tried the bite sized chicken dimsums made of rice flour instead of refined and a blue moon beauty it was, served with chilli sauce. The inside is almost as pleasing as the outside. Soon after we tried the jackfruit baos and they were sensational, such beautiful pieces of jigsaw were assembled together for the final perfect magnificence. Herein I am talking about the components of jack fruit bao that had few sauces, Mexican chilli, mango dices and a bit of mayo.

In salads we tried the avocado salad which was amazing but fried- not the avocado, the greens rocket leaves and kale. I prefer non-fried salads but it was well-flavoured so I had to excuse it. The avocados were less in portion but I have a Kapha imbalance so I don't intend to feel less about the salad on the lack of mexican mango- avos.

I had another prawn something but for the love of god I can't remember it right now- the name. The taste was perfection and the prawns were succulent enough just to bite above the tail.

Don't miss the ethnicity of their remarkable desserts- Kabucha tart and coconut creme brulee. The kabucha is a Japanese pumpkin that tastes so unlike sitaful and it was meshed into a beautiful dessert and served with tiny delish scope of mango ice cream. The coconut creme brulee is moulded into dry coconuts and it just tastes tempting - a hint of egg, cream and the coconut spice emanating into it from the mothership. Well it was totally worth a try and more. I do recommend this place to all if you have the budget and the palate to experience and digest offbeat.
