It was weekdays evening so place was empty i was only there.
Had fish tikka, butter chicken and butter naan.
Fish tikka was excellent, chicken chicken can be better, naan were soft and crispy.
Love their Dal Makhani, its simply out of this world... smoothest dal malhani ever eaten... is even liked by children... love their butter chicken as well. Recipes are well cooked...never overdone
Old world charm, good quality food....huge quantity which we rarely get to see now...distant seating so does not feel stuffed or overcrowded even when full... owner's supervision and professionalism....must visit for casual north indian yummy dinner with family
My favourite restaurant since 25 years. Best food items are malai tikka, Dhaniya Adraki chicken and Butter chicken. Must try for all - Dhaniya adraki chicken.
Ordered chicken tikka and chilly chicken dry and found both of them to be good and tasty. The qty of chicken tikka was less but chilly chicken had good qty. It was warm and delivered to us in time. Everything was more then satisfactory this time.

Visited this place recently. Their seating and ambience was great. Their staff was very good. I had boneless butter chicken. Taste was very good but quantity was a bit less considering the price. I even had chicken curry. The quantity and taste both were great for this. Overall a very good place.

Whenever i am craving for some indian food and i am crossing malviya nagar i tend to get something packed from Chic Fish. Iv rarely dined at this place and usually have taken take out. Though they have a decent dine in place as well. Airconditioned. Nothing too fancy but works for a family dinner.
Coming to the food-
Rara Mutton- decent sized pieces of mutton in a keema gravy. The gravy isnt overspiced and was kept subtle.
Dal Makhni- once again . Subtle flavours. You can actually taste butter which should be the core .
Took a few breads all were good.
So basically Chic fish isnt one of those fancy restaurants which is designed to blow your taste buds but on the contrary its one of the safest options. Their taste has remained constant from years. The food is not spicy and nothing overdone. You might feel a desi feeler to the food. Its the best choice when you are in no mood to experiment and just want a smooth dinner .

Chic Fish is an old fox for North Indian in this area. It's one of the restaurants I've grown up to enjoy often. It's established for such a long time speaks in itself of it's taste and quality.
The restaurant has a special place in my heart as I have grown eating the food for the last 30 years but somehow the quality of the food is different on different days. Food got delivered today cold as ice, upon calling they replaced the food but again no taste and to add to it the Malai chicken tikka was half uncooked.

One of the spots I have visited throughout the year . While the food is good I would suggest taking take out or ordering online from here coz recently the place have become a spot for kitty parties. Last two times I was there It was bothering but I stayed for the food
Fish tikka tandoori. Well mixed with the masala and well grilled which becomes heavy and fulfilling to eat. Can be taken with the family . Wonderful crowd
Their chicken tandoori leg is a masterpiece. The service onsite is courteous and the delegation very structured. Mutton dishes need much more work, but chicken is well handled.
Our dinner couldn't have been better.

I am not sure why I am putting this review as this place doesn't need reviews. I am visiting this place since my childhood and have been a fan of the below dishes. Per my say no one can match up to the quality and taste of the below items in Malviya Nagar.

i had ordered dhainya adraki paneer for the first time replacing the all time favourite shahi paneer a vege delight...it was just amazing surprise and i highly reccommend to try as corriander and ginger a healthy ingredient in food for better digestion.

Quality is good...ambiance is good.worth the money.. Food taste is also nice..great place to visit..didn't have much of expectation bt was more than what i expected.
Chic Fish has been serving delicious kebabs and mouth watering curries for years now, and never fails to disappoint. The leftovers from an order home are added to meals for days after, often just the gravy! We recently tried the Phirni and were pleasantly surprised by the same.

Among the oldest places serving yummy North Indian food. Going to this place since Childhood and haven't had "Paneer Tikka" as tasty as they serve anywhere else. A good place for a Family dinner or Hangout. Ambience is ok and service is also quick.

Food was awesome. They need to work on cutlery. Different sizes of water glasses at table and spoons were stained.
The fish masala was delicious must try. Fish and chips was also good, but was disappointed by its quantity as compared to the price which was pretty high. Only 2 fillets of fish were served. Other than that the taste was very good.
One of the oldest and the best places to have butter chicken. I have been visiting this place since 10 years. The taste has been of the best ones across the whole Delhi.
Wonderful nostalgic experience , used to hang out in chic fish when I was very young , it was a simple restaurant , now it's a swanky restaurant , awesome food I can only rate vegetarian food which I had but my friends had non veg and they were raving about it. I tried the dal makhani and kadai paneer both were great in quantity and delecious in taste , also the nans were lovely with kilongi which is now rare to find in restaurants so all and all a great experience

I have been going to this place since long. Food is really good. But there is a problem with the portions. The tandoori chicken had a tiny leg piece which was broken. Never opt for mutton as all the three pieces were actually bones and fat and no meat. So that was a total loss.
