If you are craving for some authentic delicacies from your native places like Bihar, Balliya, Varanasi, Ayodhya Gorakhpur,.....then you don't have to go there immediately, just head to #RadissonBluMarina #Cp as here #ChefPankajJha along with his team has brought them for us as #PurvanchalKaTadka #foodfestival, starting from 29thJuly to 5thAugust 2022 in the evenings at their restaurant #FiftyNine. For ten days festival, the menu will be on rotation.
The food is authentic, simple and healthy. It is an honour and privilege to taste the food before the show actually started. UP ka Tadka, a mocktail, mix of juices with nice presentation was what we started with. The famous Litti Chokha....Litti served with Aloo Chokha, Brinjal Chokha and Garlic Chutney....loved it, generally most of the people relish it, Aloo Chop, Makai Chirwa Ki Tikki, Sigri Ka Chicken Seekh....served through a small Sigri on the table, was juicy soft and awesome, Fish Fry, Pani Puri, all have a great taste.
Purvanchal Ka Meat, Desi Murg Curry,.... distinct taste, both done without tomatoes, the real "mitti ki khushboo", as authentic as can be, Rohu Mach, Arbi ke patte is sabzi in curry....steamed and then cut into pieces and done in curry, Chena Matar, Laal Saag....Lal Chaolai crisp, tasty, Panch Purab Dal Tadka. Had a wonderful meal.
Dessert....Bagiya.... steamed rice flour stuffed with jaggery and flax seeds, Khaja.... made with refind flour and sugar, flaky, crisp and good to taste. Besan ka Laddu.
All the best to the enthusiastic team for the festival!
Had a wonderful experience. Food is exquisite. Ambience was good. Service was a bit slow due to an ongoing event. Nevertheless a fine experience. Courteous and polite staffs, ready to make the dining experience as comfortable as they could. Overall a 5/5 restaurant.
Fifty9 is located in Radisson Blu Marina, CP. It's a fairly big sized restaurant with buffets and a-la-carte.
I went there during their recent Andhra Food Festival, named "Aromas of Andhra".
It's a buffet with loads of variety of veg & non veg food in typical Andhra style.
There were many options of non alcoholic beverages and starters. I tried out the Fish(Tawa Chapa) & Chicken (Menthmkoora Kodi Vepudu) in starters along with blue lagoon and lamp soup (malayi paya).
The buffet had an elaborate menu, i tried the Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani, haleem, Pulihora Annam (Tamarind Rice) and Telangana Chapal, the fish Tikka.
The food was very tasty. The south indian touch made it all the more delicious. You must note that the whole menu doesn't have a single bread piece, so you might want to order it separately.
There was Khumani ka meetha (Apricot) & Elaichi flavoured Sewayi in dessert and both of them tasted very rich and flavourful.
Their service was top class, as you would expect at Radisson Blu. The servers and the managers were equally helpful and polite. I will try out their Sunday Brunch buffet, the next time I am here 😊
Ambience: 5/5
Food: 4/5
Service: 5/5
Today I went to this place for dinner with my friends and I cant resist myself in writing review, just after the visit. As well spent evening it was. No doubt food always matter, but beside that another thing which matter is service ambience. Service was Fantastic. Ambience is quite impressive. We had their Awadhi cuisine. Well! After tasting we actually felt the actual taste of awadhi food. The aroma of spices and even very well made. The taste was truly blissful. Trust me best food I ever had. Properly marinated, very well use of spices.
We had mutton galouti kebab, veg kebab, paneer Multani tikka, Murgh ki chaap, Nazakat fish tikka, bhindi ki galouti in starters. Well! I’m vegetarian, and in vegetarian I liked everything. paneer was too soft and the spices in between was too yumm. And bhindi ki galouti was too good. Damn! I’m craving again. My friends completely enjoyed their non-veg dish. They like everything. Marination in nazakat fish tikka was too good. And very well cooked. Mutton galouti kebeb was too delicious. And they end up ordering again.
In drinks, we had, watermelon juice, virgin Mojito, virgin colada, Apple Mojito, and aerated drinks. Their juices were freshly made. Their mocktails are absolutely worth it.
In main we had, Champ paya ki biryani, malihabadi Subz makhane ki biryani, gosht Badami korma, Murgh dum baradari, moong dal, charbagh ka Subz korma, dastarkhawan-E- shahi paneer. From name itself you must came to know all are like nawabi name as everything we had is Awadh food. Everything was fantastic. The taste of everything was truly blissful. Aroma of spices were too good. I liked shahi paneer, kurma and veg biryani.. damn delicious. My friend liked everything but best was Gosht Badami korma, according to him the flavour of spices in gravy was too good.
We end up our meal having Shahi Tukda in dessert. No doubt, it was too good.
Overall my experience was FANTASTIC. Their Awadhi cuisine was absolutely worth it. I had fabulous time. Thank you Radisson for making our evening.
Radisson is a name which is familiar and renowned as well, it doesnt need any introduction nor does any of its restaurants needs an introduction. The restaurants are supremely designed and serve amazing food.
Recently "59" has their "Awadhi festival" going on and if you love Awadhi cuisine the its for sure not to miss on this one. Personally went there are tried out some amazing dishes which have the authenticity of Awadhi Food and flavors which will give an experience to remember. I loved each and every item i tried there and would surely recommend all to indulge into this amazing food experience.
We went to their ongoing Burmese Festival to taste some authentic Burmese dishes. So it's a buffet setup with multiple snacks and mains.
For the snacks I personally loved crispy Burmese tofu, mongolian lamb ,ngephe gyaw which are full fish fritters were ultimate and chao Tom it is a vietnamese speciality fried shrimps , again an ultimate presentation.
For the mains I just loved the kra pao gai which is sliced chicken in chili basil sauce along with pad kee mao I.e. broad rice noodles tossed in fresh veggies , so it was an ultimate combination for me.
Finally for the desserts, they have five spice chocolate mousse, the dessert has strong flavour of cinnamon so it might not suit everyone's taste.
Overall we loved our time here for the quality of food and service.
A great family place to dine in at Radisson CP which has a great ambience and also have a event going on which is the Burmese food festival.
For starters we had authentic grilled chicken satay, crispy Burmese tofu and mangolian lamb. Satay was amazing. It was purely grilled and had an amazing taste. Tofu was a bit crispy but had a amazing filling in it. Lamb was a bit spicy but had a wonderful taste. The lamb pieces were were soft and juicy too.
For mains we had the authentic fish Burmese Khao suey with some steamed rice, pad Thai noodles and Mandalay chicken curry. Khao suey was extremely delicious. It had a great coconut taste with mildly spiced. Was also going great with steamed rice. Pad Thai noodles we're also good. Not too much spicy and had a great taste. Mandalay chicken curry had a different and a unique taste a but was good.
So my experience with this menu was extremely good. Do visit fifty9 to try their Burmese menu as it is only till 15th December!!!!
Delhi Foodler's foodie points:5/5
A long life to fifty9 :)
Amazing experience during their breakfast buffet! Wide variety selection including parantha, eggs, muffins and fruit. Ratan and Shivani were great. Much appreciate their customer service! Would highly recommend for breakfast!
Had a chance to visit the restaurant & try out the outstanding & lip smacking dishes from ongoing food festival Jash-N-Awadh that would last till 4th Aug 2019! The food festival has been created with the thought of bringing the forgotten class of the Royal Kitchens of Awadh and it has very much been able to do so. The dishes have curated by Chef Shabbir who comes with an experienced background of food preparation over the last four generations. All the food were cooked in spices that has been created and brought along with the Chef himself and not the ordinary branded stuff. Hence each of dish was worthwhile indeed!
Some of the dishes that I want to recommend are the - Bhindi Ki Galauti, Mutton Galauti, Murgh ki Chaap, Nazakat Fish Tikka, Mutton Badami Korma, Chaap Paya Ki Biryani! Last but not the least the Shahi Tukda was a tip of the iceberg and a overwhelming end to an overenthusiastic food sojourn!
