Tried the Chicken Changezi with butter and it was yummy! The chicken was soft, and the gravy had a tasty buttery and lime touch. The place in Daryaganj has a nice, rustic vibe. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

Heard a lot about this outlet and finally could get a chance to eat here with my friends. The food is mouth watering and the service is real quick, the only challenge is that this place is mostly crowded so you have to wait for 20-30 minutes before you get a place to sit and eat. Sitting area is very basic and expect just good food, nothing else. Parking a car is very challenging around this restaurant

Located on Netaji Subhash Marg, next to Hotel Jaipur Palace, Daryaganj. Parking is only possible on the roadside, that too only during non peak hours. Seating area is limited, with a small family space upstairs. Ordered a changezi chicken(their famous dish) quarter with desi ghee and 2 tandoori roti. The changezi chicken consists of 2-3 medium sized pieces in a tomato onion gravy lathered with ghee(if wanted) and served with onions and mint chutney. The taste and quality of the dish was superb and was filling for one person. The tandoori roti also was fluffy and crispy at the same time, and could be eaten on its own. Service was quick and friendly. Overall, this place is highly recommended for their namesake dish and tasty food. Total price - 315 rupees.

This place is a paradise for non-veg lovers situated in the heart of Delhi on the main Darya ganj road. Try their Changezi Chicken which is a mouth watering delicacy. You can request to make it spicy or normal as per your requirements. Don't forget to try their shami kabab which is freshly made with soft and tender meat. Its soo soft that it'll melt in your mouth.
I tried their grilled chicken which was a bit bland, similar to any other grilled chicken.
Besides this, chicken tikka is also good.
In breads, khameeri roti is recommended. If you like sweet taste then try their special khameeri roti which is more soft as its dough is mixed with a bit of sugar and milk.

This is my go-to place whenever I feel like eating chicken especially changezi. They have out done everyone in this space with their superior taste. If you opt for Dine-in please expect to wait 15-20 minutes after ordering as they slow cook their meals for a better taste.

These are the two flagship dishes you’ve got to taste. Their special khameeri is unlike what you’ve ever had. They slow cook the khameeri to make it extra soft and buttery, no other restaurant serves this.
You can also try their seekh kebab and shami kebab; both are equally good.

Great menu, authentic taste, good service and Okay atmosphere. The food served here are of authentic taste and cost appropriately. The chicken korma served with green chutney, onion and lemon taste exactly like old delhi korma. Eating korma with puffed khameeri roti with lemony onions tastes amazing. The biryani served here tastes great, it comes with two huge chicken pieces and green chutney and raita. The biryani tastes good but it lacks the classic biryani aroma. We also tried their chicken seekh kebab, which was very delicious. Two uniform seekh kebab with green chutney and onion was so soft and tender and tasted like heaven. The staff was also very polite and courteous. You should definitely try this place out.

Chicken Tandoori was crisp from the outside and soft n tender from inside.
Dal Makhni was one of the best I've ever had. Not the usual taste, but even better with a hint of green chillies.
Special Mention- Unlike the usual butter naans, they make it with multiple thick layers which are baked crisp to perfection.

This is probably one of the most spicy & delicious mughlai dish. Chicken changezi restaurant serves quite a few Mughali & Halal non veg dishes, however the best Dish is Changezi Chicken or my personal favourite combo which is mouth watering Chicken Malai tikka with Changezi gravvy. Now you might have to push the owner to serve that combo but they do serve it on demand. Basically if Chicken Changezi is the standard version than Chicken Malai tikka with Changezi gravvy is super cool version of Chicken Changezi. They have one branch in Darya Ganj with a take away & restaurant and other one is in Old Delhi in an Area known as Churi walan. It's definitely the most delicious but watch out the calories.

Interior is good also the seats are very comfortable enjoyed while dining in with family. Talking about the price of the food is very reasonable comparing to other restaurants.
You also get good value for money here.
I would like to suggest one thing to the owner of changezi chicken to try to reduce the price of signature dish changezi chicken sold inside the restaurant further more because i think it's too expensive. And by doing that reach of the signature dish can increase further more.Rest is totally fine...

Food Coma Alert!!! Keep this in your bucket list as one of the 'Top 10 things to do' if you are visiting Delhi as a tourist. If you are from Delhi and a non veg fan but have not visited this place - Well too bad for you! They are definitely one of the best places in town to serve amazing chicken and without burning a hole in your pocket. Highly recommended !! You dont even have to wander around in the lanes of Old Delhi for good non veg as this is very conveniently located in Karol Bagh.. Do visit this place and thank me later :)
