Review Hybrid - New Delhi

Kunal Khurana
Having been going to Connaught Place all my life for a bite to eat, it was only recently that I had started exploring the food trail at Tolstoy Lane which happens to be adjacent to CP & I can't fathom how in the world did I miss this amazing place until now! Hybrid is situated in a corner building in a nondescript street end but the moment you enter through the doors, you will be in shock & sheer awe of the place. The magnanimity of the restaurant is rivaled only by the spectacular interior designing. Right from the Batman logo hanging on the wall to the cool seating arrangement, warm ambient lighting & what not! It is a multi-storied establishment & I chose to sit on the terrace which was again spectacular in design & functionality. The staff was spot on & immaculately mannered, our ordered food arrived well within time & the plating was a big thumbs up! We ordered a plethora of dishes, right from the vividly colorful salad to Dahi ke Kebab, Hybrid styled chicken wings (a great starter in my view), etc. But what stole the show were those awesome & out of the world wood fired owen pizzas! I ordered two varieties & both of them were a blast of taste. They were arguably the best pizzas I have ever had. We rounded off things with a generous serving of red velvet cake which was pleasantly delightful & light to eat. Overall, a great experience & I have been recommending everyone I am meeting to come here if they haven't already done so

Went there this weekend and I must say although the place would look like a shady one.but,Ull be surprised as soon as you step in it iz damn kool top notch interiors huge bar space you have a lot of options to sit at the bar top, down up on the terrace and dont you worry about the heat coz u wont feel it at nyt as they hav big fans and it has some kind of mist coming out of them which can be irritating to ppl who wear specs.music is amazing to the ear not too high not too low.Food is finger licking good!!!n drinks are also decently priced at they also have variety for non drinkers!!from my side itz a must go on a weekend d place would make u happy!!And also ull feel lyk sitting on hill station if u sit on the terrace!!grt job done.

Nice ambience and music. Very easy parking. Not too lively on the weekends but not bad for a group party.
Gaurav Talwar
Good place that offers nice ambience and good music. Just be careful not to go in shorts during your weekend visits.

First time at hybrid. Had an amazing time, food was average. Interiors are dim and nicely done. Service was very good. Worth a visit, need improvement in their food department..

Hybrid is a good place to party if not great .
No complaints with the food , drinks and hookah !
Tried achari paneer tikka , roasted vegetable pizza and murgh tikka. Everything was cooked to perfection and had great flavours. The hookah flavours are good too.

The only problem is that the crowd over there is very thin . Even on sunday nights its half empty ! So that kills the feel a bit. Otherwise its a combination of good food , good music and great ambience.

A very lively and at par place for chiller weekends with your friends. They serve some amazing Hukkah and also their Sangria is exquisite. The plus point is, I personally liked their courteous staff. I would give it a thumbs up.

Hybrid, Janpath is a great bar-cum-restro situated in a quiant location away from the hustle and bustle of mainstream Connaught Place. Getting here was a challenge, as it as away from Janpath in Tolstoy Lane in a conspicuous street with very little lighting. I went here for a friend's birthday party.
The starters were disappointing, to be frank, as even the regular stuff such as Cheese Balls and Hara Bhara Kabab weren't cooked properly. The Hybrid staff were trying their best to maintain a decent level of service.
The main course offered interesting options. However, for a large group of around 30 people, the dishes were constantly becoming cold and losing their original taste because of the same.
The music was quite literally a Hybrid- a fusion of the latest EDM hits along with a live percussionist on the Tabla or Dholak. An interesting concept, but became a little too loud for people wanting to converse.

Aditi's Nugget of Advice- Go for the interesting hybrid DJ and the drinks, surely not for the food.

went here with my cousins gang..we had a lot of fun!! good place to hangout..but crowd was not much even on friday night..on our request dj played punjabi songs and we danced and danced..food was yummmmm the pasta and chaap was to die for..we were 10 ppl so we ordered a lot of food and drinks..everything was tasty just the service was a bit slow other than that a good place to visit :)

Hybrid is a place to party and have drinks on any friday or saturday night. Its a huge place with two seating areas. It had a beautiful rooftop which is closed these days.I went last saturday night and it was packed. The music was good and the service was quick. We ordered malai brocolli, chicken ceasar salad and chilli soya chaap. The malai brocolli was a bit bland as i have better versions of this dish at other places, salad was normal but the chap was great. The chili soya chap was oriental version of regular soya chap and had ingredients like that of honey chilli potato.Coming to drinks the martini and LIIT was good too.Overall a happy saturday night with decent crowd, good music ,good staff and happy vibe!

I'm here while I'm celebrated Agyasta Band 6th anniversary.. Interiors was osm n lighting was seriously Gud n music was also good. Service is also fast n fud was yummmmm..

Went on a Saturday night for a friend's Bday Party and the night was awesome at hybrid. It's a big lounge with designer interior and innovative menu. We tried crispy vegetable, fish fingers, chicken malai Tikka etc. And everything was really gud and tastes well. Though we were more busy on the boozing and dancing part. I will give 5* for music, ambience and service.

Hybrid is spread across a large area. The interiors are plush with leather upholstery and based on the concept of time travelling. The place transforms into a party place by the night.

The staff is courteous enough. We ordered

# Cheese Balls- were very crispy and served with mint sauce and mayo. I feel they should give some other dip to team up with cheese balls as mint chutney is too mainstream and mayo is too heavy if you are already hogging on cheese balls.

Some red sauce pasta which was delicious

Lamb sandwich

We concluded the meal with my all time favourite Darjeeling tea.

The prices are on the higher side.
Happy Cravings :)

The ambience was quite appealing. The cafe is quite large.
The food is not up to the mark.
We ordered mocktails out of virgin mary was the worst. The virgin mojito though was average but not perfect.
In snacks we had pizza which was abthin crust and was not bad. Chilly chicken though was fine....

Nice hangout place with great food , drinks and entertainment at central Delhi lajpath . Hybrid Hybrid Hybrid Hybrid Hybrid Hybrid Hybrid Hybrid \/

Had a lot of expectations from this place. I was let down. The service was pathetic. We went there around 9 pm on a Friday and the staff were not pepped enough to serve their customers. The pizza didn't have enough chicken toppings on it despite being a chicken pizza. The drinks were arriving late though it wasn't crowded.

Something different..brought Jaan to nightlife in Connaught place..great ambience..junked..retro look...great pub life feel..if you want to have silence.. quiet .. be there between 7--8 PM..otherwise late night ambience will be high decibel music..liquor..dj..ultra mod..crowd.. great place for ladies to have kitty in afternoon..
Vikrant
It's a bit costly but it's worth it. Hybrid has outdoor seating available and also offers live music. The ambience is really nice and most importantly it lies away from the crowded CP area. The food quality and service are both excellent. A 4.5/5 for hybrid

This place had the audacity to ask me if I was coming as a couple....
It's by far the most boring place... It SUCKS DONKEY BALLS.... Horrible... I would suggest get booze and food and have it at home...
I would have given ZERO... Or may be negative if zomato allowed me..
Shipra A. Vij
Went their on my Husbands birthday and its a wonderful place. The best part is that its slightly away from too crowded Connaught Place inner circle and takes away the hassles of parking.

Loved the music and food. Staff is courteous.. Perfect Place to spend your Saturday evening and have a wonderful time with your friends..
Deepak Naudiyal
I went last Saturday in hybrid...with friends for small get together....trust me guys is the best place in c.p for party.. service staff are very friendly. I had hybrid martini which is really good..and .food also really tasty...but the best things of these are music which is outstanding DJ simiz..play music really well...good job hybrid. Thanks for everything...recommended place... @

Good place to hangout with friends.Food is pretty ok. This place is good mainly for drinks n music n not for food lovers.AMBIENCE is pretty decent.

Not a place I would again. Reasons being:

~Poor Service: Even when there was not much crowd around 8.30 PM on a Friday night these guys could not remember to deliver orders on time and cater to a handful of tables.

~ Food: So, overall the food tasted good but what was disappointing was the toppings on the chicken pizza. I mean hardly 2-3 small cubicle chunks on one slice. Like really? And, when asked about the miserly topped pizza the server told me that this is how they serve it.

Food that I tried - Cheese nachos, Veg pizza, butter chicken pizza, dahi k kebab, LIIT, and couple of other drinks.

Veg pizza and dahi k kebabs were really good! (y) [additional 0.5 for that]

Apart from that the ambiance is good. Cannot say much about the music being played or the live performances (if any) because by the time I left the DJ had only started to play some numbers and that was around 10 PM. So, time yourself when visiting here.

Just another tip - change your photographer. Gone are the days when people preferred too much bright photos with flash light glistening in their faces making them look fair! :|

P.S. Beware of the parking guy in the NDMC parking lot! He is a thug, asks 100 bucks straight away whereas the parking rules clearly say 20/- per hour and 100/- for the entire day!

They serve the best sangrias and the lip smacking lebanese cuisine .
Dj Barkha generally plays on friday nights and she's amazing .
I don't like the terrace though . They could make it better and more happening .

Wowww place nice ambience , lighting, food service all was excellent , it's been my 4th visit to Hybrid since last 2 month and all the time it was a amazing experience the server were helpful the bar people give priority to there regular visitor all the time...its a place must visit for every one...

Kind of a same place like others in Cp with those warm white LEDs, but yes, a spacious one with interesting comedy nights every monday. It was a gala time out there.

Visited on a Wednesday night. Sufi night with hiten pawar, can't miss. Go for chicken Seekh , yummy and so soft. Amazing Ambience and Music is the icing on the cake.

What I love about the place is the live band, it just made the vibe of the place amazing! But coming to the food, their fried prawns, pepperoni pizza and red wine sangria are pretty good! I also tried the fish and chips which were ok.

Hybrid, was suggested to me by one of my friend and it was totally worth going there.
I went there on Friday evening and the whole atmosphere was so fresh.
It was a bit difficult to locate this gem as it was in the lane just besides the honda showroom, but it took me 15 minutes just to find out this Lane.

The whole ambience was beautifully done. Hybrid written in golden wires, Dusky ambience and rustic interior was adding glitz to the atmosphere.
One of the best thing about this place is that it has ample amount of space around 8500 square ft. with an open terrace so if you had not done a prior booking you will still get a seat here.
Later did I came to know that this magistic restro bar belongs to one of famous restaurateur Mr. Priyank sukhija.
I ordered :
1- Mexican fries
2- Indiana Paneer Pizza
3- Vege Bolognese Pasta
4- Chilly Cheese fries
5- Veggie Dog
For Drinks,
Red wine Sangria and Caipiroska

I too had sheesha here and to my Suprise it was one of the best sheesha I had.
This whole costed me around 5600 bucks inclusive of all the taxes and vat.
I totally enjoyed being here and would definitely recommend this place.
Ambience- 4/5
Food- 4.5/5
Service- 3.5/5
Value for money- 4/5
Overall rating- 4/5
NOTE : Service was a bit slow here.

A nice place for office goers tucked in the bylanes of Janpath...nicely done interiors and seating arrangements, tasty food (choice is a bit limited though) and a decent collection of booze more than makes up for the parking chaos. Must try - chili basil fish and seafood risotto. A word of advice, do not take your car esp on a weekday, getting a parking spot can be extremely messy.

Located on the Tolstoy Lane of Janpath area, this restaurant was recommended to me by a friend of mine who happens to be a frequenter of this place. I visited it a few days ago and found it good. The ambience was fine and the interiors were well designed. It houses dishes from North Indian, Italian, Asian and American cusines. These were the items that I tried-

Hybrid Classic Onion Rings- These onion rings were spicy and tasted good.

Roasted Stuffed Mushrooms- Fresh mushrooms mixed with parmesan cheese tasted nice.

Dahi ke Kebab- Served with mint yoghurt dip and tasted excellent.

Assorted Bruschetta Breads- A decent amalgamation of tomato basil, fresh mushrooms and roasted peppers.

Mezze Platter- Not very nice , I have had far better ones before.

Hummus Pita- Similar to the ones I have had a lot of times. The Pita bread did not seem very fresh though.

Malai Badami Brocolli- The mint chutney certainly enhances the flavor and it tastes good overall.

Altogether, It was a nice experience dining here at Hybrid.

Tried this place on a comedy night. Started off with a hukka(ask for a recommendation, they mix flavours to suit your taste) and some beer. Their veg items are as good as their non veg items, ambience is average. Table reservations are optional.

Went on a Monday night. The whole area has changed with Informal and hybrid lightning up the area. Hybrid seemed appealing and inviting. Stepped in. Was given a decent place. The ambience seemed great. Mondays are comedy nights and we were just in time for the same.

The place was set for what i would have hoped to be a scrumptuous meal. And then the nightmare started.

We ordered two soups along with crispsy vegetables. We also ordered two pizzas and 3 cokes and a mocktail. Special instructions were given to the waiter to serve drinks with main course.

A 10 minute wait. Cokes arrive out of nowhere. I requested the waiter Mr. Uday to take it back to which he clearly refused.. like really?? Why? After much persuasion he promised to serve new chilled ones later. (The cans have not been opened yet). Then soup is served. And along comes the mocktail... hello.. did we have a conversation a few minutes back? My whining fell on deaf ears. I demanded the mocktail be taken back. He took it and placed it in a refrigerator. Now comes the crispy veg..

Please serve my main meals i wanna go back home. Then pizzas are served. And the mocktail.. from the ref. The waiter Mr. Uday clealry refused to provide a new mocktail and insisted that nothing happens to a mocktail when it is refrigerated. I was fuming now and called for the manager. His colleague was decent enough to provide a new mocktail and apologise for the rude behaviour. I never bothered to get my now warm cokes changed. Asked for extra ice and wanted to finish off amd run back after a ruined evening.

The food was ordinary. The service.. need i say more. Until they make a turnoaround and total change in the service standards, i dont think this place will last for more than 2 months. Was my first and last visit!

This place situated at the nook of Tolstoy marg is getting popularity now a days. Located in hustle- bustle free environment of cp make it a perfect place for partying.
Starting from entrance to interior whole decor is of mechanical parts giving look of sort of warehouse, seats appearing to be of iron but were comfy leather couches. Very spacious... live percussionist along DJ makes it more happening. Place have elaborate menu nd extensive list of drinks. Service was prompt nd staff was courteous. Food was served well in time and plating was done nicely.
We ordered various drinks all very really gud. From salad to Dahiya ke kebab, sphagetti in paneer tikka masala all very delicious.
The place is worth its aura. Overall experience is good.

A place definitely worth the hype located on the Tolstoy Road! It has outdoor and indoor seating, you can also go for semi private areas indoor. Went there on 24th June 2016 which was friday and it turned out they had a Bollywood night on that day! This place is absolutely a place to be at night because it would satisfy both kind of people: One who love dancing with drinks and one who like chilling!
With great ambience and decor, one who hates loud music shouldn't go there.

Drink & Sheesha: I ordered Signature Hybrid Martini which was watermelon, rose & ginger infused with vodka! It was a perfect refreshing drink with the right balance of fruits juice and vodka :)
Thumbs up to the sheesha with great smoke. We didn't have to tell them again and again to change the coal as they did it on their own timely

Since it was four of us, we ordered quite a lot of food.
>Chargrilled Chicken: Beautifully barbecued chicken with various stir fried vegetables was a delightful plate with great plating.
>Chilli Paneer Pizza: Worth the money!
>Amritasari Murg Tikka: Commendably flavours served with basic green chutney and onions
>Paneer Makhani with rice and naan: Being a spicy food lover, it was way too sweet for my tastebuds so I has to add excess of seasoning
>Mutton Rogan Gosh: It was one of the best mutton dishes I have ever had. :)

Overall: Worth visiting at night with special bollywood night or sufi night but a bit more expensive than other places offering same details in Connaught Place!

Visited this place on 24th june friday doe rhe bollywood night. Enjoyed alot as we were 13 people. The staff is good amd also the ambience. Food was amazing. Bollywood night was also fun. Best part about this is place is that it is far from the crowded inner circle

Located on janpath it's a lounge with a huge dining area. The food was okay but the ambience and music is good. Love Thursday nights there with none other than hiten
Deep Guha
Hybrid is elegant and the food is quite innovative. The decor is schick and the leather couches are comfortable, not to forget their open terrace which is a cherry on top. Went here on a thursday, when hiten demonstrates his percussion magic along with their talented DJ. Sangria and hefeweißen were nice to start the eve. Methi chicken tikkas and aranchinis played the role of perfect starters. Dahi ke kebabs could have been a bit better. Broccoli was hot talk among the vegetarians where as I personally loved their hummus which came along their non-veg mezze platter. The star of the eve was undoubtedly their prawns with assorted veggies which had a hint of mustard and tobasco, delicately handled and presented beautifully. Must have !!

The service was prompt and an extra server was standing just for us to fulfill any of our wishes. More shots n sangria and we were ready for the night. Lovely experience.

The Thursday night outing decided upon this conveniently located and snuggly situated cafe : Hybrid was the place to be.Gold lit, dusky ambience, wooden decor from walk to walls and a live percussionist along DJ : the mods be set right. Maybe coz we turned out to be the early ones - the emptiness was a big out off, but until 10pm. Service being so agile and quick ,despite the increasing crowd was a pleasant turner.
We started with
•Pitcher of Red Sangria
•Beer
•Bailey's Irish cream - the presentation and quality was brilliant!
•Lime margarita - quantity and presented beautiful!
FOOD
•Honey Chili Soya Chaap - as brilliant and first an invention I see it as , the sesame sprinkled crispy spiced dish And Soya chaap!! This one paired in looks n taste so well with Sangria!
• Cheese corn Arancini balls perfectly sided with a base of sour cream and herbs - love it.
Dahi Kebab - lacked out a bit on the salt within and could have used more of the chaat masala on top but paired with the mint chutney, not the best but good!
•Broccoli as tandoor and done up in rose petals and yogurt and sprinkled with almond splinters - excellent..
• King prawns ciabatta - an added knife is definitely needed to cut them to bites of buttered bread and along the juicy spiced cooked prawns - MUST - Brilliant dish!
•Marinara Salad - prawns, squids, scallops along hot greens, cherry tomatoes and herbs along lime juice - MUST MUST!
As the music started along with the percussionist Hiten Panwar adding along too, the place livened up just perfect :)

I visited the place on a Saturday night for a friend's party , it was filled with people who were just enjoying themselves , dancing and having fun with their loved ones. I ate many types of pizzas and also many platters including the hummus and pita one , I tried multiple mocktails and loved all of them when the DJ played Bollywood songs we all couldn't help but dance and the night was amazing and fun-filled !

I really like how the place is done .. the service was good as well the food.. went there on Saturday evening ... it was good experience. ..
Ananya JaIn
Went with family for celebrating dads birthday. It seemed pretty off, some laid back DJ playing edm to an empty house...the food was not that great.
The bruschetta was very bland- hated it.
The Arrabiata pasta was awesome
The Thai Curry was okayish
Veggie pizza was pretty good
The drinks (virgin mojito and apple cooler) were just fine

I think it was so dull because there was hardly any crowd...and the DJ was boring.
Mukul Ichplani
What is der to say they did't have magners ,absolute, red lable but yes a live insect in my pizza had great expectations from dis place but .....

Really nice ambience, less rush which makes it perfect choice for Saturday evening, service fast and good, they take care of your recommendations. And yes happy hour discount..

Perfect place for party or to hangout, loved the place had heard about it a lot so it was kind mandatory to just go there. Food was very good i loved chill chicken, plus hookah was very impressive and well prepared. I loved the terrace it was very well buit, a big terrace for party. The place has it's own cool. Must go guys!

Nice place to hangout. Very spacious and lively. The band performance was superb. The singer was amazingly talented. Great ambience. Would love to visit again. Mix of pub and caffe.

Thats called a perfect place for a party or a get together.
A great happening place to hangout with your friends. Their terrace bar is very attractive which is only operational in the eve of the weekends.
Great music with the great food and service.
There are different bands who perform on the weekends. Usually it is difficult to find a table in the weekends so better to get it reserve before you reach.
Varun Jain
We went to Hybrid in a group of 12 people, and the same old drama of 50% sitting only greeted us at the entrance like in few other new lounges..
Anyways, inside we ordered some drinks and starters which were ok.. They were playing Trans music pretty loud.. All of us were wondering why they r blowing up the place with music that nobody can dance to..
It all became extremely boring (read dead) by 10:30-11.. We even tried calling a few places around in CP but since it was saturday night so no luck in any decent place..
Then we realised why they made this super boring atmosphere, when at 11:30 a guest dj (dj barkha) steps in and starts playing bollywood numbers which gave the place a steroid shot..
Wasted everyone's 2 hours just to highlight the DJ..

Hukka- 4/5
Food- 3/5
Service- 4/5
50%sitting drama - 👎👎
K.S
Yet another 'lounge' bar in the cp area and is essentially a watering hole with 'event' nights which is best enjoyed on the weekends. The decor is interesting and probably the best thing about the place.

Otherwise, The menu is a mix mash of all possible cuisines - the food ends up being bland and unappetising while the cocktails will make cement your belief that's it's best to order rum and coke or vodka with sprite.

Overall, if you're in the area and somehow end up at hybrid bypassing all the other places in the area - hope it's on an event night with good music!
Ritu Jain
Hybrid is an okish place!! Most of my points go for the food! Good ambience needs an improvmnt of music!! The good part about it, is its location!! One dosnt have to get stuck in the massive traffic jam to move out at night!!
Shiv V Bhargava
Hybrid is an awesome place to visit with friends. The ambience is absolutely perfect and the feel of the place is pretty refreshing. The food and drinks are a bit overpriced but it's worth a visit. Do try the shots and the non vegetarian menu.
Pratik Goel
We went there almost 2 weeks ago, went for early dinner and the place was dead, there was no one there, the drinks menu also didn't offer much variety, the food was good, but we were told that place is amongst the best hotspots in NCR and that was disappointment.
Deepika Kothari
Located well in d centre part this place has good options for vegetarians..loved d jalapeño poppers...good service good food...n yes good sheesha!! street jammers rocked d evening...over all had a good time there...but i wish u guys could upload all d pics tat u click on fb n not few selected ones!

This nook off Tolstoy marg is suddenly transforming into a party corner , with two hip lounges located next to each other. The best part about hybrid is the space , great layout and plush overstuffed sofas. It hurts me to rate this place so low because I have been here in the evenings with friends for some drinks and fun and this place had never disappointed me , but I guess the real test for the place happened today , a weekday afternoon , when I decided to drop in for a light lunch.

First thing that disappointed was the faded printout in a dirty plastic folder , which passed as the menu. The total attitude of the staff was very casual and uncaring , throughout the one hour I spend there I was not even offered a glass of water. But the bigger disappointment was the food. I ordered for a portion of Prawn Minestrone soup (₹280/- all inclusive ), after waiting for upward of thirty minutes what was served was a less than half a bowl of broth garnished with two ultra thin bread sticks , no sides , well that is ok , the real problem was the broth itself , slightly diluted tomato purée , seasoned with salt and I guess little cracked black pepper , with some bland frozen prawns cooked into it , an absolute let down . The soup or rather the heated tomato purée with bland prawns left me in no mood to try anything else , so just walked away.

When designing these places as party HQ's the promoters should also keep the lunch crowd in mind or a simpler solution , just operate in the evenings as lounges and night clubs and not try presenting them selfs a good food place .

Will still recommend the place but just for an evening of fun and folic with nice music and stuff but defiantly not for their food.

ENJOY

One of the gems in the CENTRAL DELHI , This one locates itself on the Tolstoy lane JANPATH, NEAR the HONDA SHOWROOM, the rustic interiors gives them an edge over the others , the prices aren't even that high , service is good , u can have semi-private areas for a group or a family, they have a pretty amazing setup on the terrace as well, they have a wide variety of liquor and mocktail, they have a lot of starters that u don't really get anywhere , cheese croquettes(don't remember the name) , hummus n pita , chicken sticks.

Their pizzas were amaaaaaaazing .

This place has got a nice ambience! quite crowded on a wednesday night. good place to grab some drinks, but a big no for food and service. The terrace setting is an attractive thing and the overall interiors are really nice that really attracted us towards this place. galauti kabab were burnt . Chilly chicken was ok. staff was ignorant.

Hybrid is no doubt a fantastic place. Great ambience, super tasty food, nice staff and what not, it surely worth a visit.
I loved the lavish seating pattern, the lights and a wonderful looking bar! Interiors are the first thing which makes this place attractive and food being the second was also really nice. Lots of variety and everything was better than the other. Loved it.

The place is well located and has a hep ambiance. The seating is very comfortable and terrace is cool too. The lights are nicely done and the DJ takes over the place after 10pm and the ambiance changes completely. There is nice crowd pouring in at all times and the staff is also well placed in and around the tables.

Coming to the food, it might not be the right place to give your taste buds a treat, Booze and Sheesha are okay. The Sheesha service is nice and have dediacted staff only to manage sheesha which is good. I ordered a mezze platter and crispy salt and pepper vegetables for starters, the mezze platter wasn't good as it missed many essential elements of a platter. The serving portion was again very small and the hummus was lumpy-grainy. The Crispy veggies were nice and decent.
Post this I ordered a Penne White Sauce and Paneer Makhni served with Butter Naan. The Penne White sauce was good, lots of cheese in there with a nice blend of mushrooms and cherry tomatoes. The Paneer Makhni was decent too, very suitably spiced and sweet to the right point. The Dal Makhni too was ordered, again served with Butter Naan and it wasn't that good. The essence of dal makhni lies in the time that it has been soaked in the vessel but this one wasn't that good which is obvious as Hybrids runs itself mainly for pub and not for fine dine. All in all I found the place decent enough to go with your buddies for a cricket match/standup/Dj over a couple of beers and some light snacks to go with.

Taste 3/5
Ambiance 4/5
service 4/5
value for money 3/5

So me and my friends decided to visit this place as there was some stand up comedy event happening every monday.
So we entered around 9:30pm and the restaurant was almost full coz of the event. We got a nice table and ordered 3 Bira pitcher as the restaurant never had kingfisher ultra pitcher or Erdinger pitcher to our surprise there were no pints available of kingfisher/Erdinger so we were left with no option but to buy pitcher probably a sales gimmick!!
Next comes food ordered chx caesar salad along with veg cheese balls which the server forget to order hence we waited for 35min for a veg starter!! Then came the chx caesar salad which had only one beat this one skin of lettuce and rest of the salad had rocket leaves!! This was shocking when i asked the server where is the caesar dressing and lettuce he was like this is how we prepare our chx caesar salad so I literally threw a fit and asked them to change the salad. The picture u see is of changed salad! The server even showed me the menu saying it's mentioned that a twist is given to the salad but i was like u havnt mentioned that u will be serving a greek salad in the name of caesar salad so we decided not to have dinner here. Considering the wow service and food was served!!

I visited Hybrid located amidst government offices on each of it's sides, at Tolstoy Lane, Janpath. To my surprise, a Bloggers Become Boss competition was being run at the dining facility with A fellow blogger Rohini Gauba running hybrid for a day. She curated a special menu for the day. The way she introduced and welcomed us all, made us decide to give her dishes a try.

•Beverages

1) Hybrid Vodka Organtini

An amazing one of it's kind, signature cocktail which was a concoction of Frost frozen vodka, orange, lime & jello. Never had a drink with frozen vodka before and this particular drink tasted amazing. MUST HAVE

•Food

1) Speedy Nachos With Chicken/Paneer Chunks

A very simple yet tasty recreation of your regular nachos. The taste of the chicken and paneer both were well balanced and even the seasoning was perfect. Would've loved if the quantity of sauce and chunks on top of nachos was a little bit more than what we got.

2) Paneer In Soya Bharwan Kebabs

Again an amazing fusion of vegetable seekh kebabs stuffed with paneer in between the incisions. Tasted good and presentation was even better.

3) Nargisi Kofta With Tomatango & Cheese

The dish of the day for me. The gravy of these kofta's would give any fine dine facility a run for its money. Very subtly flavoured and the tangy flavour of tomatango gelled superbly with those melt in the mouth Nargisi Kofta's.

•Desserts

1) Cheescake Sundae Pot

A superb end to a wonderful lunch at Hybrid. This dessert was complete package itself. The sundae pot had fresh fruits, chocolate cake and cheesecake with multiple sauces and apples to top it off. 10/10 for presentation and taste.

Thanks Rohini for being such a wonderful hostess and giving us a memorable day. Wishing you all the luck for your competition :)

Go Win It ;)

Ambience- 4.5/5
Food & Beverages- 4.5/5
Service- 4/5
Value For Money- 4.5/5
Overall Experience- 4.5/5

Hybrid & I have had a strange kind of relationship. While once I was invited to its launch party (was unable to make it though), wasn’t able to pay them a visit them since despite craving really badly for it. Last week finallyyyyyy got a chance to visit it when CP, being in heart of Delhi thus equidistant from all of us places, was chosen as a place for rendezvous by friends. Shying away from the hustle bustle and loudness the inner-outer circle outlets attract during the weekends, the quaint Hybrid away from all that seemed like the perfect place to play host to our meet.

Located on the Tolstoy lane, almost on the verge of being considered out of CP foodie scenario, it was the concept of a changing place according to the time and demand of the customers that had stayed in my mind ever since I got the introductory mail from them for their launch event. The place changes from a café during day time to one of the hippest party places at night time. As is the well known fixation of Mr. Priyank Sukhija with superheros incorporating something of them at all his places in one way or another, this one has an amazing Bat-logo near the entrance made entirely from mechanical parts. Infact the whole place is swarming with industrial tit-bits like locomotive design next to entrance, seats appearing to made of iron/steel, various quirky designs on the wall also made entirely using mechanical parts including the name of the place boldly mentioned in the same style at the far end of the dining area. The terrace seating follows the more conventional approach though with typical wooden furniture in white and other bright shades. Covering thousands of sq. ft., the overall span of this place is impressive to say the least.

Surprisingly, a great initiative by the Restaurant management was taking place on the day of our visit wherein a blogger like us was asked to run the place for a day. Got to know that the same thing was being followed in some of the other properties of Priyank’s too. Really loved the idea and to play our part for this initiative, we decided to order the dishes from the menu curated by Ms. Rohini Gauba only, the Blogger Becomes Boss there.

The dishes were to be brainchild of the blogger only and she had done a marvelous job of presenting some really amazing dishes in the form of speedy nachos & bharwaan kebabs for starters, spaghetti for mains and cheesecake sundae pot for dessert. Beautifully garnished, the fully loaded plate of nachos arrived first topped with salsa having paneer chunks in between. The dish acted as the perfect accompaniment to the drinks. Next to arrive at the table was bharwaan kebabs which had minced paneer inside soya chaap. Even though chaap is more of a street stall dish but it was the presentation and going easy of the spices that made it a truly restaurant quality dish. Spaghetti is something I relish a lot and the twist provided to the dish by making it in paneer tikka masala lent a very unique, indianized and spicy touch which was lapped by all.

Understanding the need of finishing off strongly to make a lasting impression, the blogger had saved her best effort for the last and her cheesecake sundae pot was not only one of the most beautifully presented dessert you ever laid eyes upon but also tasted one of the best ever. Having cheesecake, ice creams, nuts, syrups; it had everything one can ask from a PERFECT dessert. Had we tasted this right at the start of the meal, we would’ve had it for starters, mains and desserts :D

Two thumbs up for the great initiative from the management of the place and the resultant amazing experience Ms. Gauba provided us.

Finally Hybrid after a long long wait. Got a chance to visit this awesome place few days ago as I was invited by one of the contenders ( Rohini Gauba ) of the running contest Bloggers Becomes Boss. As she was the boss for a day she had curated a very special menu for the day. And when I had a look at a menu , the menu looked amazing. She did not try to go hard on the dishes instead she had chosen such fine dishes which was simple yet innovative. Talking about the interiors of Hybrid , this place is designed amazingly. These people have given a look of some sort of warehouse and also the walls had various artifacts made with the mechanical parts and those artifacts looked awesome. And how can I forget about the never seen bar. This was the most spacious and huge bar I have seen till date & the bottles were placed beautifully on the shelves.

So her specially curated menu had lip smacking dishes which included Speedy Nachos With Chicken Chunks : As the name says it all this dish was finished speedily also because it was so delicious. The chicken chunks were cooked amazingly and seasoned quite well. The chicken chunks were mixed in the mayo sauce very well and tasted amazing with nachos.

Next up was the Chicken Bharwaan Kebabs : One of the best chicken seeh kebabs I had in recent times. Perfectly chargrilled seekh kebabs stuffed with minced chicken which was mildly spiced. And this dish was served with mint sauce and onions. Loved this dish to the core.

And then came another wonder dish , Nargisi Kofta With Tomatango & Cheese : This amazing kofte had the fried egg as an outercrust and stuffed with minced chicken. The dish had medium gravy as well which was wery well prepared.

Then came the Spaghetti in Chicken Tikka Masala : On man , even while thinking about this I am craving so badly for this I cant explain that. However this dish was amazingly presented and the taste was heavenly. The spaghetti was perfectly mixed in the sauces , spices and chicken chunks was perfectly cooked.

Now the dessert , the best has been kept for the last as this is the best dessert I had in recent times. This was Cheesecake Sundae Pot. This was literally magical in taste. Made of with Red Velvet Cheese Cake , Vanilla & Chocolate Ice Cream , Chocolate Syrup , Chopped Fruits & Nuts. Every element of this dish had its own taste & the chocolate sauce complimented the dish amazingly.

And in the drinks , I tried Whiskey Sour : A cocktail made of with scotch shaken with lemon and sugar. Tasted pretty decent and it had a mild kick.

And the second drink was one of their signature cocktail Hybrid Nitro Orangtini : Made of with frost frozen vodka , orange , lime and jello. This was the one of the best cocktail in recent times for me and frozen vodka is to die for. Amazing!!

My overall experience in Hybrid was totally awesome and would like to thank you Rohini for having me there and letting me taste her super lip smacking menu. Not to forget the service was quite appreciable and the servers were courteous and polite. Had an amazing time. Definitely coming back again to hybrid.

Date Of Visit : 25th March 2016

One of the most hyped places around Delhi today!!.great for parties during weekends..the place transforms to a night club on Friday,Wednesday & Saturday nights. Always full. Good starters, great drinks & awesome ambience defines this place. They have regular performances every weekend, where they get the best performers. They have valet parking also & extremely spacious for such a huge place in a small Lane of janpath.don't allow stags on weekends & reservation is a must.

Hybrid is another pioneer from veteran priyank sukhija , the place is very well known for its huge space and its long line bar. Located separately on tolstoy lane , far from the hustle bustle of inner and outer circle the place is a calm spot to be to .
I visited them on 25th march when they had a special menu curated for the blogger become boss contest.

Ambience -
Ambience is good , visited them in the day so it was all calm which obviously i do not like . The place is one hell huge property with amazing terrace and an indoor. And their bar must be one of the longest i have ever seen .
The music they play is very chilled out and adds to the experience.

Food-
Did not try much but everything was special as they said , special curated menu.
Tried the -
Speedy nachos - nachos served with paneer chunks
Paneer in soya bharwan - perfect cooked chaap , stuffed with paneer
Spaghetti in paneer tikka masala - nice tangy spaghetti

** special mention for the dessert - cheesecake sundae pot , probably one of the best i have had . Must try!

Drinks -
A long line bar has always so much to offer , hogged on a few drinks that were superb.
Their strawberry shake is a must try and there is this one frozen vodka with orange that is mind blowing , do try .

All in all nice place , visit them for cal chit chats in the day and in the night for all that adrenaline rush .

A beautiful place bang on Janpath. With lovely and lively ambience.
The place is nicely done up with a lavish bar area and comfy seating.
The place has a nice elaborate menu and extensive list of drinks to serve.

We ordered a cold coffee a virgin mojito and a lemon ice tea.
All of which were good.

For the food we ordered a piri piri chicken pizza which was so cheesy and yummy. With the hit of spice and the tang of the sauce.

We then ordered a chargrilled chicken platter served with stir fried veggies and a mushroom sauce. It was nicely cooked with balanced flavours.

We then ordered a spaghetti in tandoori chicken sauce which was the special from the blogger becomes boss menu. It was nice and tasty served with two slices of roasted garlic bread.

We then ordered mains which were Stir fried Chinese greens with noodles and sir fried vegetables with noodles with cashew nuts.
Both of these dishes were simply inedible. We had to return them. They were bland and had no salt.

Other than these two dishes it was a fine experience except that the staff should be more active and helpful. The service was slow and it could have been better.

My rating could have been a 4 if the food we had to return wasn't that bad and the service was better.

Place is super dead for a Sunday lunch - service was great - milkshake was a game changer and the seats were hella comfortable I can see this place rocking on the weekend nights will have to come back soon and check it out

Discovered this place while surfing Zomato and decided to check it out given the lovely photographs and decent reviews. The place turned out to be just as described. What struck me the most was the excellent customer service! Between the two of us, we ordered a Bbq pizza which was slightly under salted and average. I'd like to try on more food before I can give it a rating. Ordered a basic mojito which was rightly balanced and a ginger ale. Few photographs enclosed.

Hybrid, a name not so common for a restaurant and bar concept but it surely has its own appeal. The decor done is a lil off beat which is quite surprising with lots of machinery kind of setup. The bar is quite big too. Also they have sitting arrangements on the terrace but its open only for Friday and Saturday.

We ordered both veg and non veg items from the menu for our drinks. The service quality is quite good and the portions served is also nice. Overall a nice place to hang out but not on Sundays as their is hardly much crowd their.

A place with a unique name justifying its name as the day progress. The staff uniform changes during late evening and the music also changes accordingly. From a typical restaurant it changes into a Night Club. A very large seating capacity to a rich ambience this is a must visit. Offering food in good quantity but a bit expensive to the pocket. Peaceout.

Overall, a great experience & I have been recommending everyone I am meeting to come here if they haven't already done so :)

This was my first time at Hybrid and it happened by chance - Got a parking spot right in the lane where this is. I was with another friend and we decided to explore the=is nice looking place. It was a sunday and the place didn't have a lot of people in it.

This will be a nice place to come over to watch a match with your friends since they have a huge projected screen which is visible from any place in the outlet. The ambience is very rustic and warm - keeps your eyes busy with all their cool installations on the wall.

The food was good but not very great - we ordered a broccoli soup, a manchow soup and then went on to get a Falafel and Hummus platter - the dips were really nice and refreshing and the falafel was very well done - not very dry as you'd expect in most places. The soups were not as comforting as we'd expected but the falafel platter made up for it.

The staff was a little lost but when they did catch our attention in between meals they were courteous. We wanted to order some drinks but the staff forgot to take our order and it felt a little weird, by the time they came to ask if we needed anything more, we were done with our meal.

It was a nice experience but they can do better work with the way they entertain guests(3/5), the food was good(4/5) and the ambience won the show(4.5/5)

Massive place. Both ground floor and roof are are big .Big gatherings for 10 or more ppl can easily be managed here.
Thumbs up for taking out this big space in cp!
Coming to the food.Food was ok.We had chilli chicken and chicken bruschetta.Chicken bruschetta had lesser shredded chicken and it was for 500!Definitely not worth.I felt prices were on the higher side for all the dishes.
Service was good though.
Also would like to mention a concern. They had valet parking and it costed 100 and the guy there didnt inform this before.Valet parking for restaurants are usually free as it is to comfort the guests. This should be taken care by the management.

Placed at the posh side of janpath, Hybrid is a fun place to be with though the dj starts very late. The service is very quick and quality of food and drinks is good. The ambience is different and vibrant crowd always! Over all good experience!

Hybrid is a nicely done setup. There food is good. But be choosy. The chilly chicken, chicken wings and Dahi ke kebab are good to start with. They have happy hours and offers on hard drinks till 9 pm too which is pretty good. The disappointment is that Sangria and cocktails don't come in the offers even though they have domestic versions of
it. Overall a good place to hangout. Good
Music on the weekends and they have a terrace too. Not to forget Hookah - X on the beach is definitely a 👍🏻👍🏻

Finally I am there at hybrid . first of all very nice ambience as we enter but it seems vacant but that was filled by the lovely live performance of bolly wood songs which make us to stand up and dance . now it comes to cuisine we order chilly chicken , peri peri pizza , grilled fish all were good and hukkah was the best . overall we all love the place and likely to visit again

Hybrid is a really nice, peppy place. I really liked the crowd here! Food was good , music was great! Service is a little slow, apart from that it was a good experience.

We were a large group so we were able to sample a lot of things on the menu. Everything we had was amazingly authentic and tasty, totally world class. We are global travelers. Can't even remember the names of all the things we has bit here are some. Thin crust oven fired pizza with exotic veggies, hummus, chilli prawns, vegetable and chicken dimsum dumplings, chettinad chicken, stuffed mushrooms, chicken Tikka, malai chicken tikka, malai broccoli, barbecue chicken etc. Finished the meal with a delicious Tiramisu.
Very good service and ambience. There is also an upstairs open bar area that is very inviting. A must visit place.

I visited this place on Saturday, although have been here earlier but I specially visited again for their newly open Terrace.

Unlike ground floor, where huge and comfy sofas welcome you, the Terrace is placed with terrace furniture, mostly. Although the weather at terrace along with music makes your mood.

Ordered basically Drinks and starters on their wait staff's recommendation, which is not bad but portions are small. And service was not so prompt.

We were planning to try something new from the main course but almost 20 minutes waited for reply from Kitchen about the item, what it contains. And even after waiting so long Chef didn't find time to explain as they were busy.

Basically this place is good if visited in groups, where time between ordering and actual serving can be well spent.

Classy interior. Classy people and classy ambience. This is how I 'd love to start this review. More than food these guys are selling a good experience.
Indian starters and snacks were good. Rest was so-so types. But a must try place if you've got a big gang of friends and enjoy drinks more than your food.
BigFoodie_Foodblogger
I went last night (Saturday) at around 10:30. The place was pretty crowded. I liked the ambience as there are hardly any places where you can sit and eat comfortably and also enjoy the music and see people dance. So the interiors were good. There is a terrace with a bar in the centre and tables on the borders. The seating on the terrace is just for the people to sit and talk, and to enjoy the weather. The ground floor was pretty crowded and people were dancing to the music in full flow. The DJ was good.
But the quality of food was not good, neither the quantity was satisfactory.
The staff was extremely slow and least bothered about their customer. We had to look around to call the waiters.
The service is extremely slow.
We ordered some coffee shots, and they were not worth the money. The L.I.I.T. was very light.
As a whole, the service was poor, food quality and quantity was poor, alcohol wasn't worth the money.
Only the rating is for the ambience and music. That's it.
Expensive place with no services.

Last night went for Saturday night fun . I had actually expected more than it came out to be . We reached the venue around 10:00 pm and the place was quiet . We were around a group of 30 people . By 11:00 the Dj was in full swing . The ambience of the place is average . The food is below average . Chilly chicken was too salty . The fish finger was oily and drenched in oil . The chicken tikka was the only thing which I liked . The service was too poor . We need to ask the waiters to serve the snacks . They never did it by themselves . We ordered the chicken pizza AND TILL THE end it was not served 😞.
The main course was served once on the table and they least bothered to refill it . The chappatis were cold . I think the food and service is the most negative areas of this place .
The walls of the bar were full of water sepage . It really looked dreadful .
The toilets were so messy and stinking .there was no water for even washing the hands and nobody from the staff bothered to clean and look at it .
Not recommend and worth paying 👎

Huge place, with one of the best terrace seating in Connaught Place's pubs. Food quality is good, and the staff is very courteous. Hiten and Simz playing weekly on this amazing place is the icing on the cake. Recommend this anytime!

An absloute delight to be here everytime. I have been here 5 times now including the NYE this year. To start with the ambience, it is just appealing enough and classy at the same time. The service of the staff is amazing, you will always be greeted very nicely. Even in the rush hours I never experienced any delay in the service. The bar tender Rajesh will make amazing cocktails (specially LIIT). We tried lots of things in food ranging from pizza, pastas (both alfredo and arrabiata), chilli chicken, kebabs etc. Hookah is very smooth and continues for a long time. The terrace area is fabulous and very spacious. I have recommended at least 3-4 friends to host their parties here and none of them was ever disappointed. And not to miss out on the wonderful managers Shubham and Vipul who made sure that every visit was a memorable one here. Kudos to this place!!

Went there on Saturday night still it was not happening. Really dull environment. Staff is always lost and service very slow. They wont serve the brand for drinks you order but they will serve according to them. Food was overall fine. I have heard a lot about this place but it was not up to the mark.

This was my second visit and frankly both my visits have been short . The place got opened few months before and it's very near to my office. Initially it wasn't doing great but now it has started picking up with Gigs shows they have been arranging in evening.
The ambience is slight weird to my taste and it took me sometime and some help to figure out that they have this Junkyard look and appeal to the place.
My first visit was for a quick beer , the way I was greeted by the waiter turned me off, thus I gulped my beer and quickly moved to zamozza......for a better treatment. My next Visit was again a quick one where we are treated well this time and had ordered Soup , Yes, Just a soup. We ordered Minstrone And Lemon coriander soup. The soup tasted fine and just above average and I managed to capture few pics for My review here. I would still say that I haven't got a complete experience of the place and take the ratings with a pinch of salt.

I used to avoid this place, but it has become a wonderful venue for my friends.A number of things have changed for the better. The bartenders are great - fast and friendly. The DJ plays an awesome mix of all the current hits and the classics. Overall, the crowd is generally good.My friends and I have now celebrated a couple of birthdays here, and each time was a spectacular experience!

Went their on Wednesday and was fascinated by the decor and the size of the place.

Huge and comfy sofas welcome you once you enter the place.

Ordered traditional chicken tikka (was too good), mutton galouti kebab (could have been better), arrabbiata pasta (was good but nothing different) and dal platter(too good).

Sadly the portions were too small. Service was prompt.

Food: 3.5/5
Portion size: 2.5/5
Cost: 4/5
Service 4/5

This place is a bit difficult to locate , even though it is just a few steps away from janpath metro station. It is hidden adjacent to Informal . We were confused between the two but decided to give Hybrid a chance. The place was dimly lot when we entered but as time progressed the ambience transitioned to a cozy and well lit up place. There weren't many people when we were there but the staff took 20-25 mins to plate up and serve us our food. The grilled chicken wrap lacked some seasoning and it was quite dry . A little chutney on the side would've been great . The dessert - Choco la Flande was a fiesta for those who wouldn't mind a literal death by chocolate, but for me it was too sweet and tasted like diabetes . The fries served with the wrap were the things that came to the rescue of my taste buds which had been juggling between tasteless food and sudden burst of overwhelming flavour.

A place where you can sit, relax, enjoy the music and have good food.. It is one of the really nice place in cp.. Their rooftop sitting is the best place to hang out and chill.. I had gone there on Wednesday evening with my friends frm New York and we wanted to sit on rooftop (which they open only on weekends) so because of our special request they had let us sit there.. It was feeling as the entire terrace was booked for us, though live band singing was going on, on the ground floor and the crowd was enjoying that..their service and hospitality was good..the food and drinks they served was pretty much tasty..and the interiors and decoration is also amazing.. Surely a must visit place for party on weekends..
