Review Vip Rdx Restobar - New Delhi

The warm atmosphere, friendly service, and comfort food make it an ideal spot for family gatherings. Non- vegetarians must try Afghani Chicken, Chilly Chicken & Mutton Curry. Vegetarians would love Paneer Tikka, Chilly Potato & Dal Makhani. Highly recommended for family celebrations!💯

Excellent food. We had Galouti Kebab, Fish Tikka, Kalmi kebab, dal makhni, rumali roti. All of them all fascinating. Highly recommended.

The food was great. Grilled fish definitely had a bit of western flavour. Kali mirch chicken tikka was a very unique dish which we tried and it tasted good too. However, nothing was worth saying that it was too good, everything was just good . Ambience was nice.

This Place is nice. Atmosphere and vibe is good. They play music, which we can enjoy while having food. A lot of options are available for drinks, if someone doesn't consume alcohol, for them too options are available. Servicing is good.

Tastes great! Eating something delicious right now? ... * Really good! Here's something else you could say instead of delicious. * Wow, [this food] is amazing! ..

Taste wise it is very good. However it is difficult to find the sitting place.. Normally people take away and eat outside the restaurant or on their cars of in cars.. They have multiple sitting locations just ask the manager to get the sitting or you will have to wait for some time.. Chicken korma must try Galoti kabab must eat. Yummy

One of the oldest and popular outlet for non vegetarian. The place is located in a DDA complex and almost 70% of the market is occupied by RDX. RDX or Rajender Da Dhaba is quite a popular place and is mainly known for it's chicken curry. Apart from non veg the place also offers vegetarian cuisine as well, both the kitchen's are separate. The place offers dine in service as well as they provide service in your cars. You can enjoy food in your car. Not a friendly place for bringing young kids. The place is generally crowded throughout the week which makes a difficulty in finding car parkings. My recommendation for non veg will be chicken burrah and chicken galoti; for vegetarian will be kadai paneer. The dine in facility also offers hard drinks, no hard drinks served in cars.

VIP RDX is just besides the famous "Rajinder da dhaba". Nearest Metro Station is Bhikaji Cama Place (Pink Line) which is 10 min walk away. But I got down from AIIMS Metro station (Yellow Line) due to some reason. But when I reached, Rajinder da dhaba was closed for the unknown reason. I especially came to this area to explore Rajinder da dhaba. But, then I noticed VIP RDX and they had good dining area suitable for family, kids, couples, friends, etc. I ordered Mutton Galauti Kabab & Shawarma Roll. Galauti Kabab was juicy, there was a hint of spices in it..I loved it. I ate kababs with roomali roti.. the combo turned out to be pretty good. Shawarma was also good. Overall, I loved the food & ambience.

Me and a couple of friends were here past week or so it was late like 11.30ish... there was no place to sit and the servers were also not in any mood to welcome us. We stood at the bar for 10 mins or so then got a table and even then the staff was bickering among themselves that who'll take the order and clean or what not. We had catch hold of em to take our order... Pathetic.

Coming to food it was very mediocre. We had dal makhni, chicken rara boneless and masala soya gravy. The soya was uncooked. Rest were just ok.

All in all, it's an ok joint to find food late at night.

This place claims to be the legendary Rajinder Da Dhaba. A lady almost hijacked us (me and my wife) saying we need to sit open air (amidst many people who were eating just sitting on the floor around the restaurant premises) or go upsairs sitting. Thinking about the cold weather, we decided to go upsairs through the narrow passage. Having doubt we asked the waiter whether it was the same. The waiter beautifully lied us with a smile. The price of each menu was unreasonably high and not at par with quality. To end the climax we were presented a bill with some 10℅ service tax! I asked its clarification from the waiter. Soon he cancelled it with his pen, which was actually a smart way of taking tips. We came down and asked the counter whether it was the same place. They first avoided us and later admitted that RDX and rajinder da dhaba was not the same. I somehow felt the dhaba people was aware of these thing and was also passively involved. Anyway, people should be cautious of such fraud. And I thinks its a part of the restaurants responsibility to alert people to keep their good reputation.

A pretty old known name in a new set up. The VIP RDX situated on the back side of the otherwise highly visible Rajender Da Dhaba / RDX, the place is must if you love good food. The interiors are nicely done and ambiance is friendly, you will find people from all age groups, families, friends, office goers, everyone. Coming to the food we ordered:
Rara Chicken (Boneless): Great dish. Rara chicken is what you need to order if you want to move away from the usual Butter chicken and want something which has variety of spices to tangle your taste buds. The chicken was nicely done and had enough gravy. Very good. 4/5
Rara Gosht: Even better than the chicken. Rara Gosht has amazing taste to the gravy and the mutton pieces are soft and tenderly done not under cooked like most places. Must try if you crave for a mutton dish to go with your breads or rice alike. Highly recommended. 5/5
Fish Tikka: Very tasty. The fish was very tender and had good spices. Not sure what fish they used. However, I would like them to have more pieces, they serve only 4 pieces and considering the price, 6 would be ideal. 4/5
Missi Roti / Tandoori Roti / Garlic Naan: The breads were very good. Missi roti was tasty although they overdid it a little bit. Garlic naan was very good to taste as well. Tandoori roti was usual but was soft and stayed so even when slightly cold. Good.
The staff was good and so was the service. Upon requesting they even agreed to give us discount considering some of us have been regulars the the old place.
Overall this is a very good place to enjoy good food with good interiors and nice ambiance. Will recommend.
Overall: 4/5Price range: Average ($$$)

Food was great but staff was pathetic.. I got cold roti and when I asked the reason he said 'ase hi Hoti hai' also they were rude when I asked for cold water and refused on the face.

The food is really yummy but prices are a bit high. Indian food lovers must visit this place, have been there like 10 times still can go again. Must visit!
Follow @happy.caloriess on instagram

Been visiting the place since childhood, a place where food is make with love, love their chicken masala and at the same time you cannot ignore the galauti kabab which are served with ulte tawe ka Parantha ... Speciality of Lukhnow.

Famous for galauti kebab, biggest disappointment was galauti kebab. Tasteless, not properly cooked was soft from inside and crispy outside but no taste at all. After so much hype totally disappointed.

It is very near to my place. Ambience is really nice. Being in centre of south delhi it is one of the good option to go with friend or family. Rates are lil high but food is good.

I don't know why people make a hipe about this place. I found this place average.

But being a well known, they have to maintain the restaurant area as well..

I found this place too yuck and dirty from backside. I request the management to take care of the health of their customers instead of keeping the money in pockets.

Everytime you make a mention of this place in front of a Delhiite, he/she will always tell you that this is one of the best places serving amazing food.

After hearing very good reviews about this place, I decided to go there on a hot summer evening (which was a big mistake given the unbearable heat). When I entered the complex I was surprised to see the number of people who were there (swipe left). The restaurant had an hour waiting so people decided to have dinner on their car bonnets, the footpath and the stairs.

There are 8-10 shops of this restaurant in the complex and every shop serves different dishes like one serves tandoori dishes, other serves gravy, yet another serves starters. At the back they have tables out in the open so that people can eat there.

Everything that we ordered was delicious. I have never had better Galouti kebabs in my life and the Chicken curry was very well cooked with the flavors on point.

I'm sure it must difficult to manage such a huge crowd and also maintain the quality of food at the same time. Hats off to them for this.

I couldn't finish my food because it was very hot, but the next time I would prefer to sit inside the restaurant and enjoy the food.

Overall I absolutely loved the food. The seating arrangement is something that they could work upon.

Service is a bit slow. Quality and taste of food is good. Mutton Curry and chicken curry is delicious. Staff is courteous. Drinks menu is limited. Would definitely visit again.

Worst experience. We went with 12 people hoping to have good food experience however we were welcomed with lazy and late service, RUDE staff and by the end of it when the bill came they had overcharged us for things that we didn’t even order. When we complained these same people started a fight with us. PLEASE DONT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE
Sudhapujari108
Not value for money. Starters are good but portion is too small for the cost. Gracy item is not up to the mark. Cost and portion mismatch. ☹️
Vikas Pandey
If yoh are lookin for the best mutton korma in town. RDX is the place for you. They serve one of the best varieties of chicken and mutton dishes. The place is always crowded as it is very famous among the humans of delhi. You wont be disappointed to wait 10 extra minutes once the food will enter your mouth.
Shivam Gupta
Real mughlai food i got here.
Tastes amazing, although its bit pricey compared to another joints but still it will cost rs 800 for 2 approx.
Must try mutton korma and chicken kebabs.
Apurv Singh
If you love North Indian non vegetarian food, RDX is the place to be! The murgh malai tikka and boti kebab were fantastic. The vegetarian options are okay, nothing special though. Additionally, you can avail your Zomato Gold benefits here.
I do, however, have a complaint with regard to the staff. They were not very attentive. Also, the service can be quite slow due to the rush but that is understandable.

One of the best places in the capital city to satiate your taste buds for North Indian Cuisine and non veg food. Offering a relaxed and cosy environment RDX provides you with the tastiest of North Indian Food in the capital city.

Turn Offs-
*When I visited AC was not very effective
*They don't serve half plate so even if 2 ppl go then 1 plate is a lot of quantity so you really can't order variety
*The food is on a bit of expensive side
*The food is very oily

Turn Ons-
*Friendly staff
*Yummy food

Must Haves- Chicken/Mutton Seekh Kabab, Chicken Keema, Mutton Rara, Panner Lababdar

Good food, great employees. Full value for money. Best place to have tandoori items . Alcohol is also available and it's quite cheap compared to other places of same standard.
KamnaRathore
Well, good restaurant to have mughlai cuisine. Prices are little over but food is worth of it. Service is quite fast and staff is attentive. Main thing is you don’t have to wait for your table even after heavy footfall on weekends. Food portion is also good. Over all it is worth going place.
Sahej1122
Honestly speaking this place is going down in its quality maybe due to high customer rush thier curry chicken was really greasy and rest of the dishes were also no special their spice mixes taste good though but quality is definitely declining .even pieces of chicken are not cut into platable pieces but just added to the curry for the heck of it.
Abhishek Gupta
The place to visit if you want authentic non veg in delhi. Simply the best Mutton Barra, Chicken Curry hands down. Do try their makhan naan if you visit there.

Food was good but services were very bad ,the waiters were not polite and humble . They even didn't kept proper cutlinary on the table . Need better staff

What an experience .... this place is flooded with people .... outside outlets the prices are very reasonable but the seating inside has triple the prices that is in cafe hashtag lol ... one of the staff was too impolite but the food made it up for all of it .... you just drool over it ... excellent!

Why have abs when you can have kebabs ! 🚨🚨🚨These melt away in mouth faster than ice on a hot summer day. 🤤🤤🤤RDX’s Dahi kebab is one veg starter worth the ride, served with beetroot coloured ginger and the evergreen mint chutni. Good on the eyes and marvellous in taste . Also GALAUTI KEBABS THAT JUST MELT IN YOU MOUTH🤤🤤ABSOLUTELY LIP SMACKING!
BEST KEBABS😍

Well I have been at this place many times. My all time famous dishes from this restaurant are fish fry, tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, galouti kebab, chicken shawarma and yes thier famous chicken curry(thigh part)
DelhiFoodTwist
We tried the all time favorite galouti kebabs, mutton nihari and butter chicken with mughlai paratha. Always a great time being here. Looking forward to visit here again! A gem to safdarjang Enclave, never fails to impress us.

A must visit place. One of my favourite since 2010... I love this place especially mutton barra, mutton rogan josh and chicken curry. A nice restaurant to hang out with frns n family
Vansh Anand
Great place for authentic north indian food. The restaurant serves one of the best kebabs in the city, amongst the best dishes are the galauti kebab, chicken tikka for starters and tawa mutton is a star amongst the gravy dishes. A must try for everyone in and around Delhi.
Manish.balani14
If you are a foodie and loves Non-veg, then this is the place to visit. The famous Rajinder Da Dhaba is one of south Delhi’s most iconic dhaba cum restaurants. One must try their Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Wings, Afgani Chicken, Galouti Kabab and last but not the least Amritsari Fish.
Roch Bong (Rohan Chakraborty)
Everytime I visited Delhi I thought of trying this food joint but I didn't manage to get there. But this time I manage to get it delivered. I ordered 1 galouti kabab and mutton burra Peshawari with roomali roti.everything was up to the mark. I enjoyed the food.
Yashsehrawat
I went to this place for lunch and I found it highly overrated. The butter chicken was so bad that i feel sick to my stomach. The waiters here are highly impolite. I Had to ask for things like bowl, fresh onions 2-3 times. Overall, a pathetic experience.
Priyansha Kansal
Poor service.
I ordered butter chicken, garlic nan and Mutton Galouti. The mutton galouti was good but butter chicken was pathetic. The chicken was stale. Despite telling the waiter twice to make the nan thin and crispy, i received thick and not so well cooked nan. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.
Amit Semwal
Their food quality is nice and if your are a non vegetarian then there is a lot for you to explore at this place
But you have to wait a lot for your food to get ready
Your order is not delivered at one place
the delivery is quite confusing as u have to move to certain places to collect your stuff
Chetna Surana
The food is amazing (even for vegetarians) the food is finger licking good..amazing dal makhni n paneer tikka butter masala..the breads , prantha n naan were okay bt tandoori roti are amazing... the service is good but the staff can be more polite and also they should start packing leftovers on request
Mohd Atif Sartaj
Didn't enjoyed this visit. Had to call a waiter almost 10 times to get a plate. Late service, Average Food, and a Crowdy Place. It could have been thousand times better as they were over staffed but poor management.

⭐⭐1/2
.
There are so many Rajinders in here that it becomes difficult to spot the Gold Partner. Finally I went here for a dine in experience with my cousin.
.
So we ordered Chicken Barra and their "iconic" Murg Curry along with Butter Naan. The chicken didn't seem as fresh as I expected it to be at a restaurant which is so popular in Delhi. Both the items were just fine. Nothing special.
.
The seating area here is not upto the standards and the service needs a lot of improvement. They literally made us stand next to the tables for 15 minutes because every table was occupied. Thankfully, there was a folk performance going on, we killed some time there.
.
In my opinion, you have better restaurants around, just skip this if you have a plan B.
.
Taste: 3/5
Ambience: 2.5/5
Value for money: 3/5
Service: 2/5
For the name sake, Rajinder Da Dhaba is renowned for delicious Punjabi cooking. Mostly famous for it's Chicken Curry, Tawa Chicken, Fish Tikka, Fish Fry, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Burra, Galouti Kebabs..and many more. But the service is not at par, if you're dining in. I tried RDX (an adjoining unit) and ordered Butter Chicken and Dal Makhni. Absolutely flavourful preparations. Courteous staff but haphazard service was disappointing. Also, prices didn't justify the quantity of the portions served. Still, a place to go when you're craving for pleasant flavours!

It's a heaven for NON - VEG lover 😍 as you get the best non-veg 🍖🍗 food of Delhi You will get a variety of food They are also expert in serving vegetarian food

Started with a small thela to now owning entire market itself shows the journey. You will get the best of food here. Grilled fish, tandoori chicken, chicken barra, seekh kabaab to name a few. Best time to visit is winters.
Sharad Yadav
Choose to sit in this time rather than having food outside like we typically do. Ordered Galauti keebabs, Tawa chicken and grilled fish. Galauti's were extremely tender and delicious where as fish was fine this time. Serivce was fast and staff was warm and welcoming.
Nidhilahoti0
The food is good but there is a big problem with the service, its very slow. You dont get water if you dont ask for. Quite expensive in terms of quantity.
Angad Singh
This place is a at the centre of hub at the Safdarjung food market. Though there are number of places to eat out there but I travel almost 20km to go to this place to have quality butter chicken and kabab
Bhavay Wadhwa
Really amazing food, but the retro bar is really expensive... If you just want to enjoy food, rdx is the place to be...try handi chicken from the menu
Manmeet Bindra
Good food, good ambience. Enjoyed the overall experience. Tried 2 chicken dishes and both were tasty. I would recommend this place to others

Manpreet Singh Lamba
Pros :

Awesome food.
Quick service.

Cons :
Can work on the interiors of RDX a bit plus on the portion size of the snacks.

All in all a good place to eat for a lunch / dinner.

Nikhil Sharma
If you are a Chicken lover and you haven't been to Rdx ,then I might judge you. Jokes apart.
Rdx is heaven for chicken lovers.
The price is quite high but you can ignore that for good tasty food.
The ambience is decent.
Nitin Reddy
Not at all worth spending money and time at this place.worthless to spend your energy to come down here and put money on worthless products.
Sameer Virmani
Tried this place yesterday evening after having heard many good stories about this place. RDX was in such a hurry to deliver the order that they didn't even see what was being delivered hence wrong order came. The order was replaced after an hour and to my horror the taste of chicken lehsuni Tikka that I ordered was below average no taste of lehsun at all and pretty average marination. If that wasn't enough the galauti kebab though crispy was over spiced and I had to gobble down water. Extremely upset with the way order was handled and the food quality.
Hari Mohan Agarwal
The behaviour of the people was not good at all..the manager was so impolite in talking ..and behaved so rude.. I would suggest you find some other better place than that..food was fine
Vaibhav Gautam
The only saving grace is the food at this place. The service is very slow and it appears that they do not invest in the upkeep of the place at all.
Pujan
A really great place for Tikkas and kebabs. One should not go here for the ambience. The boti kebab was like softness and flavour combined in best form possible. The Chicken tikka was good, juicy and flavoursome. The paneer tikka was a pleasent surprise here since it is a non veg paradise basically. In all a great place to go with friends and family.
Dipesh(we_eat_sleep_repeat)
Went to RDX because i am a big lover of chicken and i heard a lot about this place.
But all i got is disappointment.

We waited for 15-20 minutes because the waiters were busy With other guests who are ordering alcohlic drinks.
I asked one waiter and the way he said "ek minute aa raha hu" with such a negative attitude. Dude i just called you in a very polite manner.

Ok for the food we ordered chicken lababdar BONELESS.
And guess what we got. Chicken with bones and that gravy wad also not good. No tanginess and no flavours.
Although he asked if we want to change the dish but we had no time for that because we were already late.

Seekh rolls were also bad. It was like you are eating maida only.

Daal makhni is the only thing i can say is a must try.
Very creamy and rich in Taste. So this 2 star us for that daal makhani.

Overall experience was not good. For such a high price this kind of food and service is not at all good.
Ravi Seth
Best place for butter chicken and fried fish. Their butter chicken is simply mouth watering; you come here on any Friday evening and you will find people sitting on pavement and enjoying food. Such is the craze for this place. Chicken and fish starters are also good here. Dal makhni is also good here. Friday and Saturday this place is jam packed. Prices are also very reasonable here.
Tanya Talwar (we_eat_sleep_repeat)
We went to this place and ordered starters and main course.
We ordered
chicken malai tikka
Tandoori chicken
Chicken seekh roll
Afghani chicken
In starters which was ok in taste.
In main course we had
Chicken lababdar requested by the worker there.
Its was really tasteless.
Atlast wr had to order dal makhni to be full.
And the rates are very high here when looking at the quality n quantity of the food.
We paid so much and we got nothing worth to have here.

Nakul Sharma
This iconic place has been one of my favorite go to spots whenever I crave tasty Galouti Kebab Rolls. By far no other place in Delhi comes close to it when we talk about Galouti Kebabs. I've only tried starters here every time because they are so amazing that we fill up only on those and by the end of it have no place for main course, so my review and rating is only based upon their starters.
Lalit Valecha
Everyone knows Rajinder the dhaba. Well I know them since past 20 years staring from a small dhaba and turning it into a giant food joint. The taste remains the same which is outstanding.
Ankit Garg
Well! This outlet might sound like an explosive stuff but contrary it is Rajender Dhaba express with a bar license & over price menue for food & drinks.

The place is good to eat chicken curry incase you don’t want to stand n eat on their ground floor store. Hardly any difference in quality managed to keep up Rajender signature quality of all dishes.
Staff is quick but bit boring
Zomato Gold is accepted here.
Anurag Rawat
Awesome food 😋 great ambiance non veg starters was awesome and main course was good beverages was awesome specially cocktails nice place well come again.😋😋

Bad food and chicken quality not upto the mark not satisfied with the quality of food ordered kadhai chicken chicken was stale and got it replaced then also it was undercooked

Rajider da Dhaba has become a part of family tradition in Delhi. It is a humble place, which grew from an even more humble background, solely relying on their expertise in authentic Indian-Mughali cuisine. This is definitely not a place for people with weak stomachs and vegetarians.

The mutton burrah kabab and chicken tandoori are simply delicious. However, it's is the traditional chicken curry and khameeri roti that steal the show.

The place is always full and usually people end up waiting for up to an hour. I didn't mind the wait at all when I got to taste the food. The staff is rustic and professional in the old sense of the term, so don't expect people to come and seat you by pulling out your chair. Ordering food home may better fulfill the whims of those who are looking for a more pleasant dining experience.

The place is 100% value for money.

I'll post pictures of the food on my next visit
Dr. Juhi P. Pathak
Rajendra Dhaba is a place that has been very close to my heart as we (me and my husband) were a regular visitor here during our college days when we stayed in Gautam Nagar. We often walked down just to have Mughlai Parathas, Chicken Satays and Fried chicken wings 🍗🍗🍗 Now visiting this place after a gap of eight years brought in mixed feelings of nostalgia as well as its makeover set in a fresh gourmet experience. We sat in their restaurant and ordered butter chicken, plain naan, Fish tikka and chicken Satays. The taste over the years remained unchanged ❤❤❤But it was unfortunate that there was a strand of hair in the chicken satay 😞😞😞The waiter immediately replaced the dish with three pcs of chicken (The plate had four pcs) 😢 So, had to give a bad rating because good memories do not help you earn good ratings; good hygienic food does. Thus even though the place has grown big with multiple branches and have kept the authenticity of taste intact; the quality of food, hygiene and service has drastically gone down. 😬😬😬

RDX, Safdarjung, New Delhi
.
Got a chance to visit this place with my parents and thus ended up ordering my favourite:
- Dal Makhni
- Naan
- Pina colada
.
And guess what, Dal Makhni had that exact taste I look for. The drinks was fine and naan was soft.
.
This place is Recommended !
.
With Love
Thetechnifoodie

A highly over rated , unorganized and confusing place. Firstly they have a dhaba for take away where it smells bad and lots of people eat out in the dirt sitting on the floor . Second they have a rajinder express which is attached to the dhaba and has sitting. But the staff over there is careless and shows no respect. We were having our food and the cleaner cleaned half of our table and started dusting the sofas. Also the food is overpriced for the taste and comfort they offer , for a unorganized and unhygienic restaurant they charge 70rs for a bottle of water . Third, they have a bar and restaurant named RDX.
Sidhant
There's a reason why this place is so hyped. Their dishes are simply delicious.

Although I'd say that quality has deteriorated due to overcrowding during night time, it still has that "X" factor. Their kebabs are mouth watering.

Anyone who wishes to try out non vegetarian food with a street twist should visit this place.
Vasu Talwar
The best chicken curry available in delhi in here in rdx , located just beside aiims hospital.
Huge and well decorated area , friendly staff , and amazing non veg menu that too very delicious and at affordable prices.
Rajendar never disappoints when it comes to amazing non vegetarian food. The highlight was the galouti kebabs - mouth melting and full of taste.
I recently shifted to Delhi and wanted to try North Indian cuisine at its epitome and what better dish other than Butter Chicken to start of it. A search on Google produced umpteenth number of restaurants; topping the list was Rajinder Da Dhaba. So with a ravenous stomach, I reached the busy street of Safdarjung Enclave. The entrance of the place was pretty humble, the aroma from the kitchens was tempting enough to drive straight into the main course. Waiter was at our beck and call catering to tedious explanation of the dishes.

I ordered Murg Makhani (the traditional Butter Chicken) along with Butter Naan. Quick service. Now I know what the hype is all about surrounding the dish. My taste buds were overwhelmed by the buttery, tasty and mouthwatering dish prepared in the authentic Punjabi Style. The Chicken was just cooked right and juicy. The spices were just the right amount with the butter on the top finishing it off in style. The Naan too was a pleasure inside the mouth, as it wasn't too chewy. Pairing the Naan with the Murg Makhani was absolutely the right start of my food journey in the Capital.

Ambiance - 3.5/5
Service - 3.5/5
Food Quality - 4.5/5
Quantity - 4/5
Price - 3/5
Overall Experience - 4/5

The food has lost its taste. Plus the biller was arrogant and arguing about zomato gold membership use. We have to actually show him terms and conditions to get the billing corrected.
And when being asked to speak to the manager we are told he is not available. Wow... Typical place for over 45+ men . Go there have drinks and order desi snacks . They also offer membership , if you like this place and want to drink frequently then better take it as drinks are expensive here without any deal .

The place is beautiful. Service was poor, the food was average. My family was kinda disappointed by their service and how long it took them to prepare the food.

There are not many good places to eat budget friendly good food in South Delhi. RDX is one of those places. Murg Barra is to die for. Tangdi kabab is amazing. A heaven for nonveg eating folks.

But it was a very amazing place a few years ago, now it has become a run of the mill food joint. Quality of the food has come down but it is still one of the best in the locality. I guess it has to do with growing demand of this restaurant and it's food.

Visit for hardcore nonveg food.

Hope to see the same old taste come back soon.

The food is good but the servicing is not up to the standards of the place. The staff is rude, not all of them but if it's your unlucky day then you might come across certain people who'll be rude to you and that'll just kill the mood. The 10% service charge that they take is not at all worth the kind of servicing they'll provide you.

Amazing butter chicken. Being a punjabi it is the only place in delhi where i could find butter chicken that i like. Also the galuti kabab are delicious. They just melt in your mouth and you can enjoy every ingredient.

I wish I could rate it lower. I went into this place with a friend who had been eating here for a while and swore by the quality and standards, and even he was disappointed. We started off with the tandoori murg, and it was quite good. Credit where credit is due. The next dish was the galoti kebab, which was also quite delicious. The texture was fantastic. It was so smooth and runny. Unfortunately, this was the highlight of the experience and this is where things start to go downhill.

The next thing we ordered was the Murg Rara (feel free to correct my spelling). The dish was so salty it was inedible. The chef agreed, and the waiter replaced it with butter chicken. Although quite nice by itself, my friend found a small piece of wire with his chicken. This is unacceptable even at the smallest diners, let alone a well established restaurant. The manager was called, and he agreed to waive the expenses for the dish. The dish and the experience still remain unforgivable.

Went with high expectations, and I hope to never go again unless basically forced. Not worth the money, not worth the hype. Like Karim's, RDX has also died over time.

The place has a very beautiful ambiance. Its interior is very nicely decorated. I went this place with my friends. We ordered dal makhani and tandoori naan. Dal makhani tasted delicious with crispy naan. The service was on time and the staff members are very friendly. Its quite expanssive for the food they serve. On the other hand the presentation of the food was really appreciatiable.
In beverages we ordered mango juice it was fine.
Also tried vegetable Manchurian with gravy. The gravy was very thick and tasted superb.
I have eaten at this place thrice . The sitting / dining area food is pathetic. The food which is served in open and has standing system is still better. Last night we reached there at 10. Mutton was already over at that time . We took chicken it was soo spicy that I could actually could not figure out taste. Basically there was no taste however I think they have the best rotis but all in all the place is definitely over hyped

An old school Delhi restaurant that can serve you the best of non veg food in South Delhi. Chicken curry is a delight and the tawa chicken is a must have. Always packed and a good place to chill but it's even better in winters.

Worst chicken seekh roll I have ever had in my life. The seekh inside the roll was extremely unchewable and hard. Neither they gave any salad or chutney along with the roll. It was a home delivery and I would suggest never order anything from this place. The seekh tasted cold from inside. It seems it wasn't fresh and they used frozen seekhs to make the roll and since it wasn't thawed properly, it was cold from within. Worst worst food ever. Money wasted
