Review Cafe 147 - New Delhi

I visited Cafe 147 a few days ago and was very happy with the overall experience. This two weeks old cafe is a lovely surprise, tugged away in Neb Sarai where its hard to find a decent place. So happy that now there is a perfect hangout place for people where one can go for a cup of coffee, date night or simply to play snookers with friends. Loved the food there, my favourite was Minestrone rest soup, Fish & Chips with tartar sauce and Cottage cheese steak. The ambience is very hip, my favourite part was the 'Bunker Seating' area. Its just so cosy up there, it transported me to my hostel days :). All in all, a place you must visit.

Tasty food and environment with music, what else you want. Sometimes you have to wait but it works if you are looking for a good place.

This place is a hidden gem in Neb Sarai. We went there as we were too lazy to go any further. But once we were there, we loved every bit of our time. The owner was very courteous (perhaps the top quality for any good cafe). The food was delicious and the prices were very moderate. There is a pool table and two snooker tables that add onto the whole experience. And that cute friendly dog just made us fall in love with it. This is definitely going to be my favorite hangout place for a while, until they too start getting too much of crowd and the experience begins to fade.

Amazing place, amazing vibe. You can play pool, snooker, board games, bring pets, smoke or just chill out and work at the bunker beds. Food is okay too. Place is open almost till 1am, food available till 11pm.Service is good. Definitely recommend.

Restaurant mostly serve Chinese food items but this one of the best place to hang out in that area. They have two pool table, visitors can play pools and can enjoy meals and drinks (coffee, team, juice etc.)

I probably like this place more than any other place nearby my house. It was awesome from the start and ended with a bang. One pool table and 2 snooker tables are also available. A must visit place that’s all that I can say! To be on a lighter note, this is a trustworthy review.

This cafe has my heart, I absolutely love it. The way they have put so much of creativity in everything is just worth an appreciation, from the picture wall, gift shop, wall hangings, hidden surprises, spinning wheel to the sitting area upstairs everything is just adorable.

Nice fun place. Best part is that dogs are allowed. Creative interior. Food was good & music was also fine. Perfect for casual outings & pool with a few beers.

I’ve been to this place, I really like their pizza. It satisfied my pizza craving but the owner insisted to try their mocktails but it wasn’t that good. Too sugary with less fuzz in it. Chilli potatoes was OK.

Good quality and tasty food

Maybe whoever owns this place should Google “tacos” before putting it on the menu? I’m pretty sure the filling isn’t supposed to be some North Indian version of a chunky mutton curry on top of tiny rotis. And it’s massively overpriced for this utter rubbish.

Had ordered a snack from the place . A veggie underworld burger with cold coffee .the bun was soft and veggies seemed fresh . Both were fine and value for money . 👍

Loved their food and the staff is also very well behaved. A nice place in the neighborhood to just hang out and have a nice meal/coffee. Overall a pleasant experience enough to warrant another visit. They had me at their peri peri pasta itself! Will definitely recommend the place.

Very nice customer friendly and caring staff, ordered food on a day I was down with fever, they ensured the Tomato basil soup was hot and delivered fresh.

The place which is very very rich in all kinds of food is none other than this cafe.<br/><br/>The order was for the kurkuri fish which is way too good in taste and flavour. The fish was soft as it should be and the taste were nice and good.

The pasta was the order which I made. The pasta preparation was done with perfect sauces being so tossed well<br/><br/>The sauces were used in it gave a very nice taste. The food packaging was done so nicely and enough of food was served in it.

The chilli garlic paneer was the chinese food and the paneer chilli was very very spicy infact and I am in love with this kind of food<br/><br/>The paneer was soft and it was way too good in taste and quality, both. Love to be ordering the same thing again.

Thyme tomatoes olives, basil and parmesan bruchetta, this was the name that they have given to this awesome starter<br/><br/>The food was very very good in taste and the bruchetta is anyway the best kind of here. The price for the entire food was way too less. I just loved it

The white walker burger-what a name was given to this special non veg burger. I must say that the lovers of chicken and burgers should go and order this once and feel the taste myself.<br/><br/>The bun was very very soft and the chicken patty was used for making this tasty burger.

I visited this place few days back and is situated on a very busy road. We ordered sandwiches, burger, French fries, drums of heaven, coffee and beer. Service was very slow. Also, instead of drums of heaven they changed our order and served chicken balls. However, on complaining they took it back. Sandwiches were super awesome and is must to have if you are visiting this place. You can enjoy pool, snooker and other board games but you have to pay for the same. Moreover, they serve complementary dessert after your meal which is a good gesture by the staff. All over it’s an average place to visit. Dropped in here with my girlfriend. Pretty good, they have arranged the special things for us we tried the GOT CHESSE Dum which we really enjoyed.. Their Menu was pretty elaborate, The great thing here is-- Beautiful ambience - very cozy, warm and intimate feel

Got here with my lovely wife! It's true what they say a happy wife means a happy life! And how couldn't she be delighted with the Tacos, Mix Sauce CANON WITH VODAKA and KURKURi Fish ! The fish was very fresh and seasoned perfectly! I would highly recommend the Reel deal to anyone coming here! <br/><br/>P.S. the environment is very elegant and bright which is perfect for a date!

Me and around 5 of my friends are here for my birthday eve and had the best evening! They played good music. Staff was so nice and helped us with everything, constantly checking in on the table. Would definitely go back, and the atmosphere is so different and happening!

It's such a great hidden gem and the place is perfect to spend some time with friends while playing pool and watching cricket yes they do live screening and we almost watch the all India’s matches here till now and the food menu is literally diverse really liked that . The venue is very unique and stands out once u get in it's such an awesome spot plus they have a very friendly dog... Is a very good place with good food, the prices are very comfortable and the atmosphere is completely unique they arrange special date for the couples I was thinking to give my fiancé a perfect date and they arranged that in jiffy really liked the concept , the food is just delicious. I am a big time foodie and keep exploring food options. Since long time this place was on my list because I read all awesome reviews about the place. The Ambience is really good. The service is good. But maybe the day was wrong. There was powercut and it was damn hot inside. After 15 min approx the power resumed but their AC was not working so they put a cooler there. Because of the cooler it was getting all humid inside. No one would actually enjoy the food in such situation. I ordered white sauce pasta which I felt was very dry as compared to similar pastas I had in different places. The paneer cube in the pic, that was also just okaish. As i said, may be it was a wrong day to visit.

I have ordered honey chilli potato, masala french fries masala, veg arrabiata pasta and veg hakka noodles from here.<br/>Veg Hakka noodles were tasty.<br/>Honey chilly potato were too sweet.<br/>French fries masala were not crispy and masala in fries was also less.<br/>Veg arrabiata pasta was one dish that restaurant has to work upon. Pasta was overcooked and it was breaking whenever I try to take a bite of it. It was very spicy had large pieces of carrot and baby corn in it and pasta sauce in it was too used in excess.

We were walking around and came across this place, we weren't sure at first, but decided to try it and glad we did. The service was very attentive and quick. I got the Lebnah pizza and it was extremely good, quite tasty and full of flavor. We also had a salad and pasta, both were good and had nice presentation.

Cutest cafe with lots of space for our 4 legged friends to run around!<br/><br/>Staff is amazing and they interact so well with the people This was a great find by my friend who's a dog owner. I may not own any dogs of my own, but I love watching dogs and playing with them. And this was the perfect place to do that. The dogs ran around freely. And I feel like dog people are people with big hearts, so it's a very trusting and friendly environment by the staff and customers alike.<br/><br/>I'll be back for sure!

Hey this place is really awesome and so the food. The ambience looks really great. I really like the fish fingers and the fries. Another cafe that has been on my bookmark in like forever, and I finally had the time to check it out.<br/><br/>We came Tuesday evening around 5 PM hoping that it would not be packed but it was. As we were in line I tried to look for a table and was lucky enough to find one as a group of people were just leaving.<br/><br/>We ordered Tea (duh! that's why I wanted to go here, lol), English, Lemon Tea, Cheese Sandwich and Cheese Omelette. Everything was really good. The Tea were not too sweet, they were perfect. The Kitchen Art were so cute! It's making me want to learn how to do them =)<br/><br/>I can't wait to go back and try the rest on the menu!

This place is like a little gem. It's not overly crowded and the restaurant feels cozy and old school style at the same time. We came to this location for one of my friend's farewell dinner and enjoyed the food and the environment as well. <br/><br/>We've ordered the seasonal cold coffees thing and it was not overly sweet with a punch and some other beverage that was pretty good (just don't remember other drinks' name). We've ordered the Mushroom Rissoto, 2 other pasta dish, and a Quinova salad. We've all enjoyed the pasta dishes but personally, I do not enjoy the Quinova salad as it was too dried for me but my friends really liked it. <br/><br/>We've also ordered 1 desserts (Creamy Dessert) and it is pretty delightful. The Creamy Dessert is on a more rich taste side with a slight punch of some sort of tangerine flavor. But the richness doesn't overwhelm your palate at all. I feel the dessert is more of a highlight for the night rather than the entres.<br/> One More thing to add that this cafe is suitable for both.. pets owners and gym goers.. this place is Pet friendly... just got the chance to meet the Saaya (She is cute and and I attached her pictures)<br/><br/>Overall, I would recommend this place to dine. After having read the reviews of the place, I ordered a plate of Reggae Nachos and was left utterly disappointed. The tasteless nachos were soggy like a water soaked tortilla, with no evident sauce, no toppings and no flavours whatsoever. Do yourself a favour and never order from here, upon complaining, the restaurant rebuked my claim and said, that's how they make their nachos.

Worst nachos. No jalapeno.,cheese or tomatoes or anything just chicken and a little salsa on side. Nacho <br/>khichdi is more like it. Least they can do is pack in a pizza box and not this small container<br/>

Cool new place in the area. Small cafe space with snooker tables. But owner has designed with very creatively. Loved the concepts. Food was good and staff was courteous. Service was little slow but happens with new places sometimes. <br/>P.s. best cafe on Ignou Road.

Cozy café in the heart of Saket. The owner (probably he is )welcomes you warmly and serves everyone himself. We had two bread+egg and sandwiches are fantastic. Never had one like these before. We would recommend it with Cheese. But better you come and have a look for yourself. You will not regret it.

Have passed many times, but popped in last week, first time for quick bites. Loved it, really quirky, and felt I was in a cafe in Paris. Music playing was brilliant and brought back great memories. Went back today for brunch, and although not an extensive menu still plenty to choose from. We both had the rolls, burger and pasta Really tasty. Will def be back to try one of the breakfasts. Great service and lovely staff. All in all well worth a visit, and prices are excellent.

The food at cafe 147 is second to none. Not only are they using high quality, fresh, local produce, but it is being cooked and presented to absolute perfection. Nothing is too much trouble and we are always welcomed with huge smiles and kind words. The dishes are all homemade and to die for!<br/><br/>The interior is beautifully decorated and it has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. I love all the concept with indoor games.<br/><br/>A special shout out for how pool game friendly this place is.<br/><br/>All in all, this is my favourite cafe in saket and I can’t recommend it highly enough! An absolute haven for a busy, tired mum (and everyone else)!

We had lunch here today and the food and service was superb. We are both foodie and we're delighted to discover that Cafe 147 was entirely entertaining . We plumped for the sandwiches and pasta, after some helpful advice from the lovely staff who served us. The food was delicious and fresh, presentation and service was superb, I had the chicken headshot and can't recommend it highly enough. I can't wait to go back and sample more of the menu, prices were so reasonable too. A lovely little gem which will be frequented often.

Had a wonderful lunch here with some friends warm cosy and relaxed atmosphere and staff super friendly. The food was great and loved the food especially grilled chicken and fish fingers. Good value too and never felt rushed which often do in some smaller cafes! Will be back for sure :)

Had to try this place after seeing it was  rated 4 on Zomato and it did not disappoint! Fantastic choice of chinese, Italian n Indian dishes, with an unusually wide selection of desserts and side dishes. breakfast were absolutely superb, looking forward to going back soon. I think they'll be needing a bigger space soon as this place deserves to be really popular.

We were wandering around the Saket Metro and literally followed our noses into Cafe 147. It was an excellent decision. <br/><br/>The staff were super helpful and told us it was tapas style food .. so we ordered 3 dishes between the 2 of us and we still managed to take home bits we couldn't manage! The portions are huge and really reasonably priced. <br/><br/>Everything we tried was delicious and fresh and we cannot wait to visit again to try something different.

Have visited here a few times now. Food is high quality, fresh and delicious. Got a hipster type vibe but without the queues and the ‘instagram friendly’ set you get at other places nearby. Staff are friendly and the tunes are good. It won’t disappoint!

New in the area so tried this place last Sunday with my friend. Couldn't say enough good things about the place. Every member of staff is fantastic. Very friendly and genuine people. Portion sizes are great for the price and the food is fresh and delish. Visited for the first time today by chance. Pleasantly surprised by delicious food with incredible presentation and a cosy atmosphere. The staff went out their way to add any extras and make us catered for. Couldn't possibly choose between the endless options of meat, vegetarian, so had the full Jamaican Grilled Chicken n BBQ Chicken Drumsticks with all three! Will definitely be back and will try and leave space for cake next time! Thanks so much!

Cafe 147 gives you the complete home-loved feeling where you can freely enjoy with your friends. The food is outstanding, you really can’t stop livking your fingers though. I visited the place on 9th Feb. Finally a decent place on the IGNOU road. Wonderful interiors clubbed with great food and live music really made our evening. We went on a Saturday and were really impressed by the service and vibe.

Impeccable food. The staff runs the place with the perfect blend of professionalism and warmth. If you like to play snooker or pool, this is the place to be. To add to the flavour - live singers and matches leave no stone unturned to enhance your experience.

You won't find such delectable food and classic Snooker italian tables easily. Such combination sounds utopian but to believe go and check it out yourself. Must try 'Cottage Cheese Steak' and 'Garlic Chicken Breast'. These are what I liked but don't forget to go through the menu yourself. In addendum, it's pet friendly too.

I'm a regular here and I am really in love with their ambience. Being a foodie I rarely come across places where I like almost every dish on their menu and it's one of them. I have tried their Cottage Cheese Steak, Veg Hakka noodles, Peri Peri Pasta, Higgins Veg Burger and Cheese Masala French Fries which I loved.<br/><br/>If you're up for an experiment do try their Cottage Cheese Steak.<br/><br/>This place is never going to disappoint your taste buds. 😊

What should an eating place or a cafe must have? Good environment. Affordable and yummy food. Good service and a comfortable seating area right? Cafe 147 is the cafe of modern time. It has this amazing ambience which eases your mood with the finger licking food, friendly and cool staff and the snooker. Came across this beautiful cafe on IGNOU road. It's a very well planned space, absolutely loved the interior. The food is also good and worth the money spent. It's great to finally have a good vibed cafe in this area.

Best burger ever! Got the order in 15 mins and the food is just out of the world. If you happen to live in south delhi area, its a must visit cafe.

I visited Cafe 147 a few days ago and was very happy with the overall experience. This two weeks old cafe is a lovely surprise, tugged away in Neb Sarai where its hard to find a decent place. So happy that now there is a perfect hangout place for people where one can go for a cup of coffee, date night or simply to play snookers with friends.<br/>Loved the food there, my favourite was Minestrone rest soup, Fish & Chips with tartar sauce and Cottage cheese steak. The ambience is very hip, my favourite part was the 'Bunker Seating' area. Its just so cosy up there, it transported me to my hostel days :). All in all, a place you must visit.

I went for dinner at cafe 147 with my girlfriend. It was my first relationship anniversary so I wanted to make her happy. The cafe team is so cool they made the moments into a memory.the ambience, the food , the hospitality and especially the burger (i can say that they serve best burger in whole Delhi) everything was top notch..Thanks team you guys made my day and I am definitely going to come every time I get a chance.

Service is good; Good food quality; Quite tasty no regrets. Can play snooker and pool along with food and great ambience. The workers are friendly and environment is best.

Tasty food and environment with music, what else you want. Sometimes you have to wait but it works if you are looking for a good place. Surely check it out, awesomeness overloaded.

Being a fan of coffee shops, I'd say Cafe 147 is the closest place to what I call the proper coffee shop, where you can chill and have a (near) decent coffee. Staff is very friendly here and coffee is really good

Awesome place, awesome food, awesome ambience. Best cafe with reasonable price food with great quality, loved the food and yeah snooker as well.

This place took me by surprise with its decor and seating area. One of the best cafe to indulge in coffee and other delicious cuisines if you are looking for a warm place in winters.

A very real cafe, where you literally just sit & talk to friends or random people, play snooker or pool games whilst enjoying good food & ambience. Great for just some "me time" as well. Check it out.

This is amazing, my new discovery. A cafe named TheCafe147 which has been opened recently in saket, new Delhi. I and my friends were super hyped by 3 things we saw there, 1st their fabulous decoration and aura, 2nd their food and last but not the least Saya. Not a girl but the most adorable and friendly dog. A dog in a normal cafe acting like a boss. Lol Shocked? I know right!<br/>
