Review Continental Dhaba - New Delhi

Pushpak Vaish
A very old joint in kailash colony . Appreciate sardar ji single handedly working at this age from cooking ,packing, opening closing shop . God bless him πŸ™ and his family . Eating here since teenage days. Appreciate his efforts to continue the work and putting his efforts, time ⏲️ and hard work in it

I ordered dal makkhani and naan and got complementary sping rolls which tastes so good. Aslo the afgani chaap was delicious. Must say dal makkhani was best of all.πŸ˜‹ Great quality and quantity at afordable price.
Aditya Mittal
It is a delivery/take away joint only. There is no seating arrangement. They take around 20-25 minutes (approx) to prepare your food in case of take away. The food is good, although a little oily. The price is also good for its portion size. I have tried mostly vegetarians foods - dal makhni, paneer bhurji, kadhai paneer, shahi paneer, paneer tikka, etc. I would recommend their dal makhni and paneer bhurji. Also try their paneer naan.

Take out as place too small very well priced Known for butter chicken and dal makhani chicken tikka Naan and tandoori roti adds the pink coloured onion achar and pudina chatni Also good helpings Piping hot dal delivered by home No half plates of dal!
Dr.Karan Tangri
Sardaar ji at continental dhaba prepares excellent tandoori chicken and chicken roll. He is decently priced too!
VIKRAM KHANNA
Just spectacular mutton seekh kebab rolls πŸ˜‹πŸ‘Œ
Avishek Das
Food is good though a little costly. Recommended for family dinning.
Arjan Bedi
Best butter chicken and dal makhani in the neighborhood.
Aseem Kumar
Their butter chicken is too good with garlic naan
Ajay Karkara
Awesome food and polite person , best service
Kanica Punyani
Tasty keema paratha.must try
Hiten Kumar Meena (Kishu)
Very tasty all of this item
Harsh Vardhan
Ok food.

Awesome place must visit....

It's not a place where you would wanna Dineout... You could order in a meal or may takeaway .... The food is decent and you could try the Roasted or the Afghani chicken for a snack and then the Butter chicken - Malai kofta in the curries .... The taste of the food has change over the years some for the better and some for the worse ....
Karan Raj
This is supposed to be 4 piece seekh kebab which is more look like a kebbab has been shrunk & taste pathetic.. Such a waste of money to order this from
Pratik Das
Owners rude... Worst delivery system...... Very unprofessional and useless take away outlet...
Never order here you will only be disappointed with your decision.
I ordered for one paneer dish and 3 rotis they first said the order will reach soon..and still they had the audacity to take 3 hrs to make the order and i when i called they said the dish was sold out and the rotis were unavailable.
Horrible, if u cant run such a business why do it.
Raghav Pangasa
Best butter chicken I have had at home. The chicken tikka roll is great and the Fish tikka is easily the best I have had in Delhi. Simply love to order from here.
Roshni Saini
Visited this place yesterday for a quick bite and ordered a Chicken Tikka Roll. This is a small shop mainly for takeaways and delivery and you need to eat the food while standing only. The roll had the rumali roti base and the filling tasted like a homemade Punjabi Chicken which was something different and was served with onions and green mint chutney. It was not at all oily as many other rolls tend to be oily. In short a healthy home made chicken roll.Β

There service is slow as we had to wait for 30-40 mins for our order to get ready but rest was ok.

Food : 3.5/5
Taste : 3.5/5
Value for Money : 3.5/5
Service : 2/5

Amazing place. In existence even before I landed in Delhi in 1993. Thanks to Continental for my first experience with Tandoori chicken. Smooth texture, buttery taste and juicy chicken ...defines appropriately about the quality served.
Their Tandoori Paneer is equally awesome. How well they manage to diffentiate the marination of chicken and Paneer is best not to be discussed but taste is ultimate winner.

Another winner is Afgani Chicken. Simply awesome.

They have changed their location and has gone in side Lanes of Kailash colony but they haven't lost on their quality.
Harsh Chaudhary
Worst Mughlai Food I've ever had.
Daal Makhni tastes like it's made at home and not in a good way. Paneer tastes half made like they had no idea even though it's cheap it's still not worth the money.
Manu Gupta
Chicken biryani, rolls and butter chicken are tasty dishes which I like most from their huge menu.
You can ask for Home delivery for which they might give an excuse and deny. However if you live nearby you can always collect food.
Ravi Ganesh Venkatraman
Ordered chicken tandoori and naan... same great taste! Keep it up !! Naan becomes soggy when delivered.... anyway around this? Any ideas? The chicken was well spiced (not over spiced) and had an old amritsari type flavour! Nice easy simple food for a nice homely evening!!
Jayant Gupta
This place shamelessly mixes non vegetarian food with vegetarian food and sadly even with the breads (by using the butcher knife for cutting the breads). Only explanation the shameless manager/owner sitting there has to offer is that we are not a vegetarian joint and we use same utensils to cook both veg and non veg food. I highly doubt if such places also have any valid food and safety license for operating a takeaway kitchen.
Anukriti Puri
Continental is my preferred take-away option for Paneer Tikka and Chicken Tikka. I order these two dishes quite frequently from here and I have never been disappointed so far. The chicken tikka is always tender and fresh and the paneer tikka is soft and fresh. Both are low on spices as well on request - just the way I like them!
Mansi Saini
We ordered paneer and various naan like garlic naan, butter naan and many more. The quantity of paneer was good but its taste was very bad and the naans were also bad.
Karamjeet Singh Lamba
When Karam can stand and eat Kathi rolls, you should realise how good they are. Missing mutton seekh kabab, Chicken Kathi roll and pishori chicken.
Shobhit Bhargava
Tried their chicken Tikka and also Paneer. Both were excellent. This is a great place to order in some dishes when having a party. Serving size is good and delivery was on time. Will surely be ordering more from here.
Lakshmi Raj Rathore
The food arrived very late and we had almost lost hope it was going to arrive at all. You'd think after arriving that late the food might at least taste good. But it did not. The naans we ordered were not even cooked properly and was most edible only by a dog. I have no idea what recipe of butter paneer masala they follow but it was tasteless. They have a very careless attitude even towards complaints and if you're having a bad day, please don't order from here since they'll make it worse.
Ashrit Talwar
Small take away place but decent food . And value for money as well . Their Peshawri chicken tastes pretty nice . Order online or on the phone and I think you won't be disappointed.
Shiva Pandey
The quality is going down. This place used to serve the best food in kailash colony but since the time it has shifted to back side the taste has gone worse
Girish ૐ Sachdev
Value for money. Fresh.

Must try mutton seekh rolls, panner roll.
Butter chicken is different.
Only take away.
Great tikkas. Fish was fresh and yummy

Try the rajma from continental dhaba - its brilliant !! Yes Rajma !! Even the rolls are really really good as well. These guys have been serving consistently good food for years !!

Follow me on Instagram @SPICEITUPWITHSAM

A typical Punjabi cuisine... starters are very tempting and tasty... specialists in take away only and known for timely deliveries... Happy eating...
Gvenkatraman61
Ordered from here since over 10 years.... awesome food! Afghani chicken brilliant and do too the aloo zeera, though the aloo zeera is a bit heavy! The chicken tikka roll is excellent (I ordered it without dressing/ onions etc.). Nan gets rubbery if you order it home but us really crisp and great tasting if had there. Hygiene too is high. Owner sits there and monitors closely!
Jagdeep Jaswal
Continental dhaba is ultimate place for ordering food. Plz open more branch in filling NCR and ignoring comments of up/bihar peoples. Great taste of dhaba.
Abhinav Grover
Nice food but if you order home delivery then be ready to wait for 1& 1/2 hours for the food to come. So i suggest a take away rather than home delivery since it has happened 2 times with me
Rohaan Sharma
Love this tiny place at Kailash colony. The tandoori stuff is excellent and love the malai chicken tikka here. Excellent value for money and good service. Home delivery and eating option in the car also available. The rolls are amazing, the chicken tikka roll and mutton seekh rolls are super and are a steal at less than 100 bucks
Tushar Sangwan
We ordered food around 1:30PM and the food took us an hour to reach even though the place is like 2 minutes from my house..
The delivery guy forgot the drinks.. The breads were cold..
The food tasted decent(nothing to complain about there)

Probably not ordering again
Anuj
Ive been eating from this place since last 5-6 years.
It is one of the best take away joint in kailash colony.
Dal makhni is the best.
Both quality and quantity is good.
Shivam Chanana
I have ordered from this place a couple of times and I have found the food to be strictly average. Dal Makhni wasn't creamy enough and Butter Roti was actually quite hard. Maybe I'll try some snacks the next time. The delivery is quick though.

Always been a fan of their Paneer Tikka and keep trying it out once in a month. Located in the Kailash Colony Market, Continental Dhabha can be a great option to go ahead with if you are looking forward to having an affordable North Indian Meal.

To make you aware with some of the really nice preparations of Continental, a list comprising some of my favorite items goes as follows-

Paneer Tikka

Boneless Butter Chicken

Chicken Tawa

The Paneer Tikka is always a delight, butter chicken comes in great portions and the Chicken Tawa can be tried by the spicy food lovers.

Altogether, ordering from Continental Dhabha is always fun. Their service is good, dishes come well packaged and to top it all, it is easily affordable.

FINAL-

FOOD- 4/5

SERVICE- 4/5

VALUE FOR MONEY- 4/5

OVERALL- 4/5

I had some doubts when first visiting this place because of the name but i was gladly surprised. Good services and good food and great prices. Portion sizes were also very nice and generous. Please dont judge by the name and come and try as you wont be disappointed.

Located in the Kailash Colony Market, Continental Dhabha is a nice home delivery joint for North Indian grubs. Mostly referred to as an economical option for a desi meal, Continental Dhabha is a place that despite some flaws still manages to deliver a good eating experience. The varieties are not that elaborate and the service out here is prompt. They deliver really quick in the areas nearby.

Ordered the following items from them a few days ago-

Paneer Tikka- Spicy and nicely flavored. A good one overall.

Boneless Butter Chicken- The pieces were a bit chewy but the taste was fine.

Chicken Masala- Goes fine with the roomalis and delivers a likeable taste.

Altogether, Continental easily manages to be a good home delivery joint of Kailash Colony.

Further enhancements is duly recommended though!

FINAL VERDICT-

Quality- 3.5/5

Service- 4/5

Affordability- 4/5

On the Whole- 4/5

Mouth watering dal makhni, if one is a true vegetarian then you cant really miss out on this place. Try their dalmakhni and kadhai paneer, its bascially take away only
Aditi Singh
Continental dhaba serves some great rolls and tandoori items. Their gravy options are also pretty good, but not as good as their dry items. The best part is that if your are a regular customer, then they deliver on a bill of 150 also.
Yajur Mahendru
I was in Kailash Colony at a colleague's place for some work during day time and thats when we all ordered rolls from Continental Dhaba. We got ourselves Paneer Roll, Chicken Roll and Mutton Seekh Roll. I really liked the three types of rolls. The maida roti was so thin which it made a perfect wraparound for the stuffing. I will recommend this to all.
Kripi Sharma
One of the best take-away, pocket-friendly, north Indian joint to order from in Kailash Colony. My regular order of Dal Makhani, Shahi Paneer, Paneer Tikka never seem to disappoint me and my peeps.
Abhijit Anand
1. He takes 2 hours to deliver to GK1
2. Rude, indifferent staff
3. Tandoori chicken is fine. Stay away from the daal and sabzi - floating in oil and no taste.
Satyam Shah
really disappointed !! with the food quality ,sahi paneer nd paneer lababdar (worst )
pls dont for these 2 !!
thanks
Siddarth Anand
They have the best rolls in town, do try mutton seekh and chicken tikka rolls, mutton handi is also worth trying..also the rolls are very economical. Do try this
Bandajee
go for paneer tikka or keema naan my Personal Fav. from this place plus the sardarji uncle looks like the cutest santa claus iguess thats something :P
Shabnam Malik
Continental dhaba is one of the best pocket friendly take aways in greater kailash locality. The food is pleasant tasting and is definitely an option for a quick meal. The food prices lives up to the value and their paneer butter masala and chicken korma are delightful. However the food is delivered late sometimes due to evening rush, so it would be advisable to order half an hour earlier.

Ordered delivery once to my office and the food was pretty decent, nothing like wow but just good enough to eat. The prices are a on a higher side as compared to many other restaurant and the restaurant should deliver the food of good quality if they are charging high.
Dr. Amit Vij
If u want burnt kebabs n stale smelly fish tikka please do order from here , tried here for change of taste but pathetic experience , Il stick to regular ones , v bad horrible experience. Ordered just now n had a bad experience
Satyam Varma
I ordered my dinner from this Dhaba and they took almost 1.40 mins for the delivery for just 2.3 kms. They promised 35 mins and when I made calls for the chase they had one answer...delivery boy is on the go. He will be there in max 5 mins and when the delivery boy came he told me they gave me the order just 10 mins back. So the people were lying...
Shilpa Malhotra
Given the dearth of dhabas which deliver in East of Kailash/Greater Kailash, the Continental dhaba gets the rating it does due to its sheer presence and not owing to the extraordinary Mughlai food they make.

Average tikkas, average dal makhni and average chicken curry, butter chicken, and there's the average everything as well. The tomato gravies are hideously orange. Order rotis only if you're brave enough to have hard and dry rotis. The delivery time takes anywhere between 45 minutes to an hour. The veg pulao is the delectable surprise though.

If you don't like spicy, make sure you let them know!

Saurabh Gupta
Its just a take away but I bet it has the best tasting chicken roomali roll in town. Juicy and curry soozing out on every bite and the flavors, excellent. I have never eaten a chicken roomali roll this good. Sheer bliss. All chicken tikkas are good too.Β

Stay away from mutton, but for their chicken roll - 5/5

Ambience - takeaway
Service - 3.5/5 (Due to high traffic)
Taste - 4.5
VFM - 4/5
Rohan Sama
Great value for money place if you're ordering in for home delivery. Don't have much of seating arrangement. Sizing is generous. Food packing can be clumsy on rare occasions. However, the time taken to deliver spans a minimum of 30-40 mins. Hence order accordingly.

Mentionable dishes: tandoori chicken, Afghani chicken, paneer dhaniya adraki, tandoori stuffed paranthas
Wohkhaanevaali (Influencer)
Get food delivered from here quite a lot... Really like their shahi paneer .. And I believe tandoori chicken too .. but being a vegetarian I have no clue :p

Have you had food from this place? If you have not then you should. But, this place comes with its own riders.

1. They serve tasty Indian Food. Their rolls are delicious and too huge for a single person like me to have at one go. Ask them to make the rolls in rumali roti and to add an extra layer of their pudina chutney. Trust me, you will be in another world. That taste is worth the time and money.

2. Their gravy items are delicious. My favorites remain their butter chicken, chicken afghani, chicken adraki and kadai chicken. In veg items I like their paneer lababdar and paneer butter masala. Their rotis are always very warm and fluffy and soft. Browny point for that!!!

3. Their rates are very decent. Their quantity is brilliant. Once I had ordered lunch for 8 people. In 1500 bucks, everyone had eaten their meals, and there was food left for the next 2 days. Of course, the appetite depends from person to person.

4. Their service is bad. Once I had gone their to order rolls. It took them 45 mins. So my suggestion. Ask them to deliver. Or if you have enough time, then wait.

5. You can't eat there. It is a takeaway place but they have a small counter to stand and eat. Else, sit in the Kailash Colony park and eat.

6. It is however, worth the try.
Raghav Vohra
Good place. The chicken roll is very good. And their mutton is excellent. Their service sucks a big time but their food is nice. But overall one should go and taste it once
Sidhant Anand
When I just want to eat chicken roll, I always go to this place . Seriously this place has the best chicken roll in south delhi . It is so yummy and different from all the restaurants . The price of the roll is so pocket friendly , that I always have at least 2 rolls .
Abhishek Khanna
Always liked this place for its rolls as the other stuff is quite average. Their Tawa Chicken roll and Paneer roll is quite good. I haven't been to this place in quite sometime now, but would want to visit again, specifically for their rolls.
Deep Guha
A nice place for take away tikkas or curries. Sadly , no dine in area . I had pashori chicken lately and it was wonderfully spiced up. This place is really pocket friendly and your food will be ready within 10 minutes . Recommended for a quick bite in those meat craving days.
Ashmi Dewan
Have only always tried rolls here! They are great!
Preshtha Singh
Really sad food .
I absolutely hated every bit of food from this place .
Ordered here to try out their food for once bcos in the home delivery options in Indian food they had foot ratings up here in zomato but I'm just so annoyed that I did so . Haha, well after having such bad experiences maybe the appreciation and zeal for good ones really hypes up.
I called for Yellow Dal Tadka , Zeera Aloo, Mixed Raita , Green Salad and Plain rice and wow such disgusting food for this general of an order is really hard to mess up this bad .
Yellow dal was lumpy and even after heating it felt like having some version of dal in the body of a halwa made out of tadka dal ?? it was really salty and had absolutely no taste of dal or the tadka at all.
Zeera aloo was more in the form of gravy or you could compare it with those slight sauces with food claiming to be a dry one but not providing the same , I don't even know how can any one make such tasteless zeera aloo bcos there's literally mostly 5 steps to follow for cooking up something as simple as zeera aloo but I think having the rice and green salad explained it further as they are that worse in food that even the rice was messed up beyond levels of repair , I mean seriously how did you all manage that !! the rice , even the bloody green salad was royally screwed . The cucumbers were bitter and they didn't care to check up even once before adding and sending the same to eat , if they looked fresh I could have still given them the benefit of doubt for an honest mistake . However it was a sappy old watery almost going rotten kind of a cucumber . The same was with tomatoes , it had the rotten smell when the tomatoes are overly ripe and reach the stage of stinky smell while rotting. Same goes Infact for the lemon used in the salad . Seriously how did you all manage all of it ? Do you guys rather training to cook rather Un-train or train them to provide the worst possible food there could be even for the simplest of the recipes. I'm sure you guys can manage to ruin Maggi or even just a simple bread-butter combo if asked to be cook those.
Raita 's curd had a fishy stink again . So yeah with all of these amazing food they sent us we couldn't even care a Damn to even bother to eat any of their food more than a spoon which was used for tasting bcos all of it was unbearable without repairs' hopes .
Oh and topping that their packing was as bad as their food , maybe that's for matching up and meeting the standards established by their food.
Vikram Rawal (Dillistan)
Spice up a lil bit sir! I honestly do not like anything here except the daal makhani..it the most amazing dal makhani eva!! Also a karhai chicken is supposed to be spicy not buttery or creamy...
Tomojit Basu
Spectacular mutton seekh roll. Spectacular prices. And I haven't come across too many that price their mutton fare substantially lower than the chicken preparations. Unless you'd like to be kept waiting as happens when you order in person, use the phone if you're in the vicinity.
Pratik Das (honestreviewer)
Continental dhaba is a decent outlet which serves good punjabi food. This place has no sit and dine facility. I have been ordering from them since 8 years now. There are some dishes whose taste has not changed, and have remained constant. It is situated in the Kailash Colony Main Market. I love their pudina paneer which has such a melow taste, such a soothing, flavourful preparation, the paneer in it is very moist and always fresh.
2.The Malai Kofta, is another awesome preparation, koftas are extremely soft and tender they just gel so well with the curry.
3.Kadhai Paneer, made in a thick gravy, tastes wonderful with butter naan and rice the paneer used is very fresh and completely takes in all the flavours.
4.Butter chicken is a pure punjabi dish, and this outlet being a punjabi one, there should be no mistakes while preparing a punjab origin chicken dish. To my surprise the butter chicken was too sweet, and bizarre, i hate the butter chicken here.
5.Kadhai Chicken, it is the same gravy like the kadhai paneer but the same gravy also mixes up well with the chicken also, the chicken is well tender and soft, yet mouth melting.
6. Tawa paneer, is also a very well cooked dish, the gravy is tangy as i like, fine preparation.
In nutshell : service - 3.5/5, taste - 3.8/5, value for money - 3.5/5, ambience - take away only, so why care about it.

The Best Rumali Roll in the best price...I have had these rolls very often. They have a unique freshness and the rumali's are soft and fresh & that's why i come all the way from Sanik farms to have just these :) I'm Surely craving to have one while writing here...i guess i'm going to have one today lol...:)
Other products like B chicken are average.

Continental dhaba is a tiny place in kailash colony market with no option to dine in, but the food is surprisingly good!! I have ordered food/ been there several times. Some of the veg food items like paneer romali roll, tandoori aloo and rajma chawal are quite good. So are the non veg kebabs.
Eat With Chi By Priyanka Kwatra
The best romali roti rolls i have had so far..The mutton roll here beats khan chacha, nizam, kathi, alkauzer, qureshi etc etc..Β
One of my friend was telling me about the place since two years..finally the day arrived when 7 of us went to Kailash Colony just to have the rolls. And food was worth all the appreciation.Β
The best mutton rolls had the mutton seekh with masala and the chutney & onions were at the side which didn't make the roomali roti soggy. The best part was that we went there and had our rolls, i don't think they will taste so delicious when delivered.
The other rolls were also outstanding like the mixed veg & chicken roll.
The place is value for money. It didnt even cost us 100 per person!!
I will highly recommend the place when u are going for a party and want a great quick roll or just a nice roll for Delhi winters. Have it in the car! Sunday evening take your kids and they will love them.
Their aloo roll was pretty decent too! They also have mushroom roll which i will try next time for sure!! Happy Winters with awesome Delhi food!

Oh all I can say about this place is that they have the "BEST MUTTON ROLL" ever!!! No ambience as such and is better to do a Take Away thing.. Fast ordering and fast service.. Food is really good . Would recommend when craving for rolls or non-veg food anytime of the day.
Do give it a try and let me know about the Mutton Roll.
Aditi Varma
Ordered for the first time. They committed 40-50 mins. The food came 90 mins later. When confronted they were rude on phone and slammed it on my face. Irrespective of the food, never ordering from here again.

Really like the haryali tikka, it is superb. Not many places make this kind of tikka. Each and everything they serve is nice.

Tried there seekh roll really liked it, very different from others. But the best is the dal makhni, very rich in taste.

Overall it is the best bar be que in Kailash colony.

Have been trying home delivery joints in this area over the past few days and must say this was the biggest letdown of all I had tried. Thought of trying their mutton seekh kebab roll after going by other reviewer's recommendation but was instantly put off by its weird combination of kebab with some gravy in the roll. Deal makhni had nice flavor but was tad bit too spicy. It made me realize just how much better nearby Kebab & curries is in comparison.
Kritika Sharma
Who says that their chicen rolls are good? I have reaad about it and heard about it but..

The roll is big in size and cheap and thats all their was good about it. The roll was dry, chicken was tough. Was it our bad day or what I have no idea but this was totally not worth even 80 bucks that they charged per roll. None of us (4 people) finished our rolls even though we were hungry.

Rajma rice fan? Dont give it a second thought and order it from continental dhaba. Its next to big chill so dont expect a sitting area. Its best either toplace your order for take away or for home delivery. Plus also a must try are their Dum aloo and Ma ki Daal. Yum! The Dum aloo curry is made out of the cashnew nut and the aloo has a filling of burji paneer with lots of dhania. My mouth is watering simply writing about it.. and the dum aloo has only two pieces.. I wish to have atleast two more ;) even though im not such a huge fan of aloo's but the ones they make literally makes me want more..

Rajma Chawal am sure were invented in some kind of Food Heaven for North Indians. Ever since I have moved to Mumbai, I miss the authentic Rajma Chawal so much. This particular place is located in a shy corner and while I was skeptical about what the food is gonna taste like, these guys did not disappoint!

The moment I have the first bite of that delicious looking mix of rice and rajma, in my mouth I was transported into the same heaven that the Rajma Chawal might have been invented in. The rajma is spiced but not too much and it retains its original taste and texture. The rice was of good quality and paired well with the aromatic rajma.

I give them a BIG thumbs up...well done!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE !
Please do not waste your money at this place.
We ordered a take-away today at 745 pm.
It is 1030 pm now & the order is still not delivered.
Upon regular follow-ups, the person at the other end of the phone had the audacity of continuously lying for over 2 hours that the order was reaching in next 5 minutes !
Ruined the entire evening...

everything is good about this place ... have been going there since school days .... thought its never too late ....

You can pick any thing from the menu ..... it all tates awesome......

If you like to eat rolls .... try mutton seekh roll .... i can bet you would have not had them anywhere else .....
they are simply awesome ......

when ever i am nearby ... i make sure that i have that rolll its ... that awesome ... must try ......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent rolls and good value for money.

It's not about food, it's about courtesy, which this place is missing. They change their minimum order amount depending on their mood. I think better review have spoilt them. I called this place a few times, the person who takes the order is disrespectful and the owner is few steps ahead of him. It's time they should treat customers with respect.

Located next to the Big Chill it is impossible to skip the Continental Dhaba. The rich, fresh desi tandoori aroma that wafts the place, so difficult not to give a second look.
The rolls (chicken and mutton) is what I have been eating for quite some time.
Juicy, tender meat laden with no-spicy gravy and fresh coriander, these rolls are absolutely delicious. Also these rolls are sans onions and green chutney, which is good according to me. This way the rolls don't get soggy. But if you think the taste gets affected because of the missing two very quintessential accompaniments, then I assure there is nothing to worry.

Wholesome, meaty goodness wrapped in a roolmali roti comes to you warm and always fresh.

Overall delicious, top class rolls. Perfectly spiced, simple yet flavoursome meat filling, these rolls are easy on the pocket.
Varun
Awesome food...no second thoughts when ordering butter chicken or karahi chicken...but plzzzz include rarra mutton in the menu....

For me this place is value for money.. I like the fact that the kitchen is open and clean

The Owners of the restaurant, 2 Affable brothers take great pride in their business & cook up an interesting chat when ever I visit

It being a Take away joint, I normally order for snacks or quick Bites . My all time favourite at this eatery is the amazing Chicken Roll... The Chicken Roll served here is pretty different from the Rolls one eats at Typical Tandoori Joints. They cook up 4-5 small pieces of fresh chicken with a freshly made thick masala curry.. Lots of Onions, dash of Oil, very strong dose of Garam Masala, Tomato, Coriander & some special masala, and you get a thick rich gravy mix

This is then put inside the Roomali roti... The curry is just perfect to be placed on the Roti & a perfect binding for the roll & curry to hold each other. A too liquid curry would wet the Roomali roti & eventually break the roll, but this curry is just perfect

The Taste of Freshly made Curry with fresh & Juicy chicken is just amazingly refreshing..... The dip served at this place is arguably one of the best dips i have tasted. Fresh pudina chutney, not too salty & very fine taste of pudina lingering in your mouth long after you have had it .. Some restaurants, do add a dose of preservatives in the dips, as the dips have to be made in huge qtys , hence preserving them for longer period requires use of preservatives

But the Dip @Globe Restaurant really seems really fresh, & adds greatly to the taste.. The roll is absolutely juicy in every bite. For Rs 50, The Chicken Roll, is a Must Try

Other Favorites include – Chicken Tandoori, Mutton RoganJosh- Their Keema Naan is another great hit -- served with a generous serving of gravy with minced meat along with a nice, soft & loaded Naan

Location – Kailash Colony , Main Market

Ambience- take Away

So are you a Rajma Chawal fan????
Well if the answer is yes, they hit Continental Dhaba without a second thought. Its located just below Big Chill in the Kailash Colony Market and its a small counter.
You can either order a home delivery or take away from here.
Since the home delivery is unpredictable and slow I prefer a take away!
I have been eating rajma chawal from this place since 5 years now and I certainly vouch for their consistency in taste.
Its very affordable and a meal would cost you below 200 bucks.
I have personally never tried anything except rajwa chawal but heard laurels of the veg biryani too...
You may try it out if someday your tummy craves only and only for rajma chawal and seriously nothing else in the world would do!!
I rate it 4 only for the taste.

Delicious is the word for food served by this place. If you love Indian cuisine, Continental is the place for you. Being a vegetarian I can personally vouch for all the vegan dishes. The Rajma Chawal takes the cake, it is so delicious that after having had a generous helping you won't be able to resist the temptation to have some more.
The Quantity delivered is good, the only downside being that at times the delivery boy may take his own sweet time to deliver the food you would be anxiously waiting for.
I recommend it to everyone living in the Area looking for great Indian specially Punjabi food!

Nice food, fast service but kebabs were not that good! They should have more variety in mutton tikkas!
