The place is very nice and the food is very delicious. We had momos veg thali(must have), watermelon juice, and lemon orange juice. All the things tasted so good I just wanted to keep eating and never stop but I had to🥲. Note:- the place is in high demand and the wait time is almost around an hour or so in the evening.

Honestly, this place serves authentic Nepali food. What ever we have ordered, they have served with real authentic taste and there was no waiting or delay with service. Don't miss sel roti, tongba and nepali thali because you will regret if you miss tasting them. Each steward is well trained and I really liked their professional service..This is one of the few places which serves tastiest and authentic food. #Tongba :: Excellent and deserves 5star as it was not sour when I had (few pointed that it was sour when they ordered it) #selroti:: 4.5 /5 (I love the dum aloo too) #porkmomos (jhol) :: 5 star and my mouth is still watering if I recollect the taste and the each bite I had

Had a really great time, food was excellent, we only had Jhol momo and Kothe momo, but both were delicious. Especially the Jhol momo were to die for. Their ambience is good, with great music playing in the background. Budget friendly too, and not too crowded. Recommend for everyone.

Well I was lucky this time to get a seat during this visit.The food is just awesome specially below items-Lha special kothe momo, Aema Datsi, Watermelon and mint and Orange and Kaffir lime.

Must visit place for authentic Nepalese, Tibetan food.waiting time is worth the taste. The food is soo good that it's just like a feast for your taste buds. The attending staff gives exact descriptions that first timers like us can choose from wide variety of dishes. The ambience is perfectly matching the overall vibe of the food.

We went for an early lunch and reached at 1pm, however it was full and had to wait for 40 minutes and got our table. Place is good and Vibes were Nice. Quite vibrant place, we ordered chicken jhol momos, kothe momos, veg noodles, chicken wonton and schezwan chicken. Also ordered watermelon juice, mojito. Service was little slow and it takes time to get it. Watermelon juice was ok, nothing that great in that cost. Kothe Momos, jhol momos were good and fresh. Shezwan chicken quantity was less, overall good experience and can be tried again.

One of the best places to eat authentic Nepali food. I haven't discovered a better place than this. Though it is located on a first floor in a narrow street, finding restaurant shouldn't be that tough. Foods served here are freshly made and taste awesome. Service might be slow, as they prepare fresh. Best recommend options are - Kothey momo, Jhol momo, thakali khana, Nepali khana and Sadheko momo. If you like momo, this is a place to treat yourself with some undeniably delicious foods. This place is really busy on weekends, so please ensure you reach at least an hour before and reserve your table as they don't take reservations through any app.

I saw their cafe on Instagram and I decided to come here. I would say it was worth coming as I really like their service and the authentic Himalayan Cuisine. However, I tried Veg, but I’m sure their Non-Veg is also finger likking… We had Jhol Momos and Sedake Momos which as amazing in taste…Juicy and filled with veggies. Their Mojitos were also refreshing. Please visit just before 1pm, so that you can get a seat as we went on Sunday. I thing which I feel can sone is that orders should come one after another so that you can have them hot. We ordered and got both the dishes together due to which one dish wasn’t hot when we had. Rest, it’s a must visit place

One of the best place for Tibetan and Chinese food. Loved each and everything we ordered for us. During thr rush hours its packed and one might have to wait for but the wait would definitely be worth it. It was for us. Everyone should definitely try the food at Lha Kitchen.

Located in Humayunpur, Lha Kitchen is the perfect place to go if you are looking for authentic Tibetan/ Nepali food. And believe me when i say the wait time( usually 1-1.5 hours) is totally worth it. We ordered pork ribs, Buff roast, Phaksha La, steamed buns, pork kothey momos and Tongba and yes, the food was pure magic❣️ And the service is great, and they have extremely cordial staff which elevated our dining experience.

Some places do live up to the expectations of the hype. This place has some lip smacking Tibetan and Nepali food, we ordered the Jhol momo which were amazing and served hot. Chicken kothe momo were cooked to the right temperature and had just right texture and scrumptious in taste. Tip - they have long waiting even on weekdays starting from 7:30 pm due to space issue. Visit early to avoid waiting

I heard many good reviews for this restaurant and then we went to this place, it was okay and cozy then I ordered Chicken Jhol momo and my friend ordered chicken shabalay.<br/>Jhol momo was tasteless, it was like mustard sauce with momo and shabalay was okayish.

Stumbled upon by chance when a friend had ordered food from here during the ongoing lockdown. Since then have ordered multiple deliveries from this place. The food is just amazing. The chicken and the pork momos are out of the world. The pork roast, shredded chicken in hot garlic sauce and the lobo chicken are sumptuous. The tingmo or the tibetan bread is quite interesting and reminds me a little of the goan bread - poi which i have been missing for a while now. Cant wait to visit this place as the ambience looks awesome as well but till then the deliveries would be regular !!

Delivered food portion was too tiny. Just enough for one person only. There was hardly six paper thin slices of buff in Buff Sapta. Over salted and over spicy (too much chillies) food despite I requested for medium spicy food over the phone. <br/>Pretty disappointing!!! <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>

This place was on my list for a really long time and I'm glad I covered it. It's a cozy little place with beautiful rustic decor and smiling faces everywhere. <br/><br/>We ordered the Lamb Thali, Aema Datshi with Tingmo as a side and fried wontons. Everything was extremely delicious. Loved the wonton gravy and the crispy wontons. The Datshi was the closest that I've had to the original Bhutanese Datshi and paired well with the Tingmo. The Thali was a surprise of flavours, the lamb was well cooked with flavourful gravy, the dal was so soothing and the other accompaniments were good as well.<br/><br/>For dessert we ordered a daarsaan which is crispies tossed in honey and sprinkled with sesame seeds, chocolate sauce and served with ice cream. It was amazing as it wasn't too sweet and not too heavy. <br/><br/>I would really like to give a shout out to the really courteous staff, definitely going here again.

From ambience to food.. everything in this restaurant is completely authentic. I really don't remember the name of all the food items in the nepali thali that I and my friend Sneha Shetty ordered but every dish had a unique taste including the 3 pickles. This was the first time that we tried nepali thali and we would definitely love to try again thanks to Lha Kitchen!

Wow, what a place this is! Absolutely loved the food here. We ordered chicken momo, Gyathuk, Shyapta and Schezwan fried rice. All of them were amazing. The meal ended with the dessert the name of which I don't remember. Will come back again

Went there for lunch on a Wednesday. The place has very cute ambience, very comfortable and homely seating.<br/>The service was extremely slow throughout the whole time. The place is very understaffed and cannot cater if the place is full.<br/>Trying not to feel too disappointed with the service, we ordered the unlimited Pork Thali.<br/>The pork was cooked well, in an authentic north indian curry base. It was unnecessarily spicy and filled with masalas. The curry was very disappointing.<br/>The service for when we requested second serving was very very slow. The waiter was reluctant to serve us.<br/><br/>The only good things about this place is the ambience and the music.

With the ambience in place, Lha Kitchen is like a fresh breath of air in the midst of Humayunpur, Safdarjung. Would certainly go down as a great option for Himalayan Cuisine in Delhi. Loved the spice, loved the service.

Loved the ambience. We also had a wonderful meal, for very reasonable prices. We had jhol momos (veg, which was unusual for me but tasted really good), a spicy maggi bhel, and mushroom datchi. The mushroom datchi was excellent and was the highlight of the evening.

I discovered this restaurant on a food blogger’s social media account and the photographs were quite appeasing, so decided to try it out.<br/>The menu is divided between Nepalese and Tibetan food and we tried the Jhol Momos which is essentially steamed momos served in a cold gravy made of sesame seeds and other spices. To my surprise the flavour combination was unique and definitely worth a try.

Came across this gem while searching for restaurants serving Nepalese cuisine in South Delhi and wanted to try some other place than Yeti which I've been to quite often.<br/>We narrowed our options to 2-3 restaurants and then finally ended up choosing to visit Lha Kitchen and it indeed turned out to be a great decision.<br/>The Menu offered Nepali, Tibetan and Bhutanese Cuisine, but I really had my heart set out on trying their Nepali Thali this time around, although I definitely would be visiting soon to relish some of their Tibetan dishes.<br/>Sadly, Choila and Taas that we had decided to order as appetizers were not available, so I settled for Jhol Momos while my friend ordered a Laphing for himself.<br/>The Chicken Jhol Momos were great liked the momos, loved the sauce! We lapped all of it up. So delicious.<br/>I had their Chicken Thali while my friend ordered Lamb for himself.<br/>The Thaalis comprised of the Chicken or Lamb curry, a delicious spicy well cooked curry that both of us absolutely loved, and unlimited servings of Rice, Dal, three varieties of veggies and some chutney and pickles in addition to Salad and Papad.<br/>The Chicken was delectable. I liked the dal and all the three vegetables in the thali, potato, bitter gourd and a Saag/ stirfried greens preparation. Such a satisfying and wholesome meal. The pickles didn't appeal much to my taste buds and may be an acquired taste that I may be still to develop. But I loved everything else in the thaali.<br/>The food is delicious, and very reasonably priced, the staff is polite and the service is very good.<br/>Looking forward to visiting again very soon!!

The service is on point here. Tucked away in bylanes of Safdarjung. The seating is cute and the place is well decorated. I prefer the lower seating. Had some authentic nepali food here. The jhol momo and chicken wanton in chilli sauce where bomb. Not only did they taste good the latter burnt my mouth of but i enjoyed kt every bit. I was not impressed with the pork chops at all. For some reason the hard skin or fat was on the pork chops. I am guessing that maybe it was more a traditional preparation. Definitely worth going again.

A must try place for food lovers. I tried the chicken thali today and i was amazed at how well cooked and authentic it tasted. It comes with a combo of rice , daal, chutney and some other green fried veggies. i was sceptic at first as i did not know how it will taste but with the first bite i knew i had made the right choice. Enjoyed every bite of it. They serve melted ghee on top of the rice , i would recommend u to ask the waiter for it as it is not served with the thali, the ghee made the taste even more delicious. Friendly and nice ambience with polite staff. Check out the picture of what i had for lunch today. Definitely visiting again.

An amazing gastronomical experience, what a fusion of all different cultures of the Himalayas, a pure escape to the Himalayan food. There is everything u want here with an earthy ambience and great music. Will be coming back to try more .

Lha Kitchen is a not so big outlet located in Humayunpur serving traditional Tibetan and Nepalese cuisine. Went there on being recommended by few of my Nepali friends and true to what they said Lha Kitchen served us with great food and wonderful hospitality. The decor inside is simple yet beautiful. One can also opt for the tables with low board cushion seats for a more traditional feel. We started with rice beer to quench our thirst. Next we wanted to order the Lha Special Pork Trotters which was unavailable so we ordered Pork Roast instead followed by Jhol Momos (Chicken) Chicken Thukpa and finally Taas. The Pork Roast was super delicious and me being a die hard pork lover, very particular about any pork dish served. But it exceeded expectations taste-wise and had the perfect meat/fat ratio. Jhol Momo was another item which tasted incredibly good thanks to the the amazing (slightly tangy) sauce that the dumplings came dipped along with. By the time the Lamb Taas came we were already full but had no plans to waste any bit of it. Another visit definitely on the cards pretty soon!

The second time I visited this place, today being the second time. The staff, the waiter and the waitress were courteous and polite. I had sel roti and aludum - alumdum I liked, sel roti not so much. Maybe, cause I have tasted and eaten better. The one I've eaten had cardamom in it and it's our traditional delicacy that we savour during dashain. The cowrie soup was ok- didn't get the aha! moment cause the soup was a little too watery for my taste.<br/>What threw me off the most was the extra 2% that I had to pay just cause I used my card. I know 2,% is palsy however it's the merchant's responsibility to pay and not the customer's. The bank charges the merchant that administrative fee so it is totally unethical making the customer pay it -just saying<br/>So, folks if you wanna visit this place, try the aludum, it's good but please carry cash with you. I

Just order lamb thali n it was the worst mutton i ever had it was more of water gravy i would say ... i called the resaturent bt seems the owner was not present so i urge the owner to please look into dat ..n thanks for ruining my dinner

It is located in a very congested area but the ambience itself is not bad. However, the food is terrible. Most of the food items we ordered were cold and looked as if they were made a couple of hours ago. The place is cheep but not worth visiting.

Beautiful place, great staff, lovely and warm vibe. A friend took me there and I had high expectations, but sadly some dishes weren't that great.<br/>The shabalya was great. I tried the rice beer drinks for the first time and they were really interesting.<br/>The pork roast was the biggest disappointment, hard and chewy. The jhol Momo's tasted great but after ten minutes the edges of the Momo's dried up and became really hard.<br/>Though I can't wait to go back again, I'm sure it might have been a one time thing. Hoping for an even better experience at your place next time.

The most beautiful place in Humayunpur serving Tibetan cuisine, add to that their amazing food. Chicken Momos were brilliant, super soft and juicy. Chicken Thenthuk was perfect, had the right portion of Chicken. Chicken Shabhalay were the best ever, perfectly done with apt crispiness and still juicy.<br/>Perfect experience!

The pork ribs were served cold, the Datchi wasn't creamy. Poor service and they tell you last minute that you're charged extra for paying by card...overall, quite a poor experience. The only reason this gets two stars is because the pork shapta was amazing

Everyone who knows me, knows that this is my second home. I eat here at least 3 times a week. With my busy schedule, cooking becomes quite a task, and this place is my saviour. So this place is located in the bylanes of Safdarjung Enclave a.k.a Humayunpur. It is exactly what us South Delhi residents needed. This place is something out of my childhood. It has a certain calm and coziness. Feeling of Relaxation. As we entered , we immediately felt comfortable. Then we had a look the menu, such authenticity. I was hoping the authenticity would reflect in the food too. And I was definitely not disappointed. Absolutely lovely service, brilliant food and a great relaxed night. The most authentic Himalayan food ,roast Pork ,Pork Ribs,selroti ,their momo were all outstanding . They are known for their Thakali but their Chinese ,Tibetan and Bhutanese are outstanding. Their summer coolers are good too Fancy drinks at an amazing price.

The Thakali just gives me feels that I’m sitting in small restaurant of Kathmandu or Birganj and enjoying that plate of delicacies in the womb of the Himalayas. <br/>Also tried sadheko momo and rice beer for the first time. I’m not a big fan of buff but still loved the sadheko version of buff momo.The moong dal, onion, tomatoes just add a lot of flavour to it. And last but not the least the rice beer was a great companion to the food and made my meal complete.<br/><br/>This place is a must visit for all the people who love Nepalese food or those who want to explore Nepalese flavours at its authenticity.

Went here with a friend. The food was nice and ambience really good. Staff was courteous. Ordered couple of starters and thakali thali which was good. With starters, i was little dissappointed, may be coz i am not used to nepali food. But i loved the momos, they were nice soft and juicy unlike momos you get in delhi. Would love to try some more dishes on my next visit.
