Really good place for vegetarians in Karol Bagh.This is a nice clean dhaba serving tasty vegetarian fare...the interiors are basic ...the service is fast and super efficient .Will visit her after lockdown again.
I was expecting the food here to follow in the old Southern tradition but was pleased to find the menus trending in a contemporary direction with emphasis on lean, fresh and organic fare -- while still keeping with Low Country/Southern convention. My favorite dish at the Ocean Terrace Restaurant, in fact, was shrimp and grits topped with a tasty tasso sauce and loaded with locally netted Georgia white shrimp,which are positively unmatched for flavor.
The chef and his staff are staunch advocates of the farm-to-table concept, sourcing produce, meats, poultry and dairy products almost exclusively from Georgia organic farms.
Where else would you go to enjoy the authentic preparation of Dal Makhani. The famed Tera Hotel of Karol Bagh is one gem of a place that is serving authentic Dal Makhani slow cooked over 48 hours to give you that makhani dal rich in both aroma and flavour. And the butter naan....as per the name. It is butter naan ..and a gud butter naan♥️✌️...and they also give us lemon, onion and green chilli and I loved the simplicity it created when having a bite but still a different edge to taste

Together the combo is superb and I think this daal MAKHNI should be combined only with butter naan and not butter roti ...naan has a chewy taste... !!! .

Located in Gaffar Market,this famous old Dhaaba like hotel is the place to be if you want to eat fresh,hot food that’s not too expensive and tasty at the same time.The Dal Fry and Chana Masala are great as well as the Palak Paneer.With enough seating space,you don’t have to wait for long and the food is served fast as well.Absolutely worth it.❤️

Ordered a special thali. The packing was good. Thali had Shahi paneer, dal Makhani,mix veg, 2lacha paratha , raita ,papad. Dal did not tasted like makhani, but Shahi paneer, and mix veg tasted good.and the parathas were perfectly cooked, raita tasted fresh. And the papad was packed nicely, it was still crisp. It was totally value for money.
Almost 4 decades old, this little heaven in Gaffar Market, Karol Bagh is a must try out. Speciality: Special Kali Daal, Sahi Paneer, Laccha Parantha, Kadi Pakoda and many more.

Always go there whenever I am in Karol bagh. Though service is slow.
It has been a hot favourite of my family forever and some safe dishes to order here are
1. Butter Paneer Masala,
2.Dal Makhani and
3.Aloo Gobhi.
Safe because these dishes taste the best unlike their Kadi pakoda and palak paneer.
Lastly don't expect a very 5 star like environment since this is a dabbha style setting and not as great in terms of Ambience :/

Tera hotel dikha mera order gaya khana aaya dal makhani kadhai paneer tandoori roti khaya khana pet to bhar gaya bt food was ok it ws not just too good nd it was not too bad. According to the price the quantity served was less over all it was good but i wont say i am a lover of that place
Best dal makkhani since my childhood and still going strong rather stronger, the quality of tandoori chopdi roti which i get here isn’t available anywhere in the universe it seems
Best Dhaba food in Karol Bagh. Born and raised in Karol Bagh, this place was our staple joint approved by my father for its value for money and great taste. They still replace a roti if not made well or simply just because you want it to be crunchier. Daal makhani and almost all types of paneer gravies are still my favourite. Don’t expect too much hygiene but it’s good enough for the place. Courteous staff and quick service!
I have had my dinner for consecutive 3 days during my trip to Delhi. I have tried the Thali, Malai Kofta and Paneer Paranthas. The Thali is good with 2 lachcha paranthas, rice, dal, mix veg, shahi paneer, bundi raita and papad. The tandoori paneer paranthas were good in taste with adequate stuffing of paneer. I liked the taste of the gravy of Malai Kofta but the koftas were too small and not that soft.
Visited this place with my brother while our visit to the Delhi. We were in this area and looking for some good food. We gave this place a try as it was near.
This looks like an old place located near ghaffar market and it doesn't look that big but they also have sitting facility on upstairs and when you enter this place then you can see how crowded this place is.
Coming to the food, they have very simple north indian menu serving vegetarian food. We ordered Shahi paneer and butter roti. The Shahi paneer was mentioned as their speciality and it tasted good with balanced flavors, the paneer was fresh and soft as it should be.
Overall it was good dish. The service was very quick which is a plus point. This is a good place to eat if you are in this area and looking for vegetarian food.👍👍

It's a small simple hotel in Karol Bagh.New in Delhi, I was told about its famous dal makhani by a friend here.And I did not regret it, at all.
The food was very yummy.Being a veggie lover the kadhai paneer tasted tasty and the dal makhani was yummm.It had a different flavour that was indeed worth the hype.The Naam was good.In total the food was very good.A visit you will not regret.The price is also reasonable.

The Pure vegetarian and 'Dhaaba' style outlet is a cheap fix in Gaffar Market in Karol Bagh.Multiple floors exist in the small hotel but a constant crowd is seen waiting patiently for their turn to sit.The crowd usually comprises decent families but sometimes there are workers from the nearby shops as well.Its fast service is one of the hall marks of this place as it competes with its adjacent Frontier Hotel.Food is extremely tasty and if you're hungry,the taste goes up a notch or two.The Chana Masala is great and along with Dal Fry&Palak Paneer,you've the three best dishes.The breads are always crisp and the rice is well cooked as well.The staff is good and they take a great pride in their work and keep up the high standards of this place.

I just loved this placed for Shahi paneer , tandoori roti and Dal makhani ...these are also responsible specialties they claim and indeed , it's true. Cost effective, sitting may not be very comfortable. Since it's Karol bagh and in main market , car wont a good idea to reach here. Ricksaw or metro . Metro station is around 1-1.5 km away from this place. In the evening it will be very crowdy area the ideal time to visit this "dhaba " would be 8:30-9 pm , as you would get place to sit .
Superrr Dal Makhni!! Food is decent, but dal Makhni double tadka a must try! If you tight on budget and want to have dhaba style food in Karol Bagh, this should be your choice !
I visited this place after my shopping at gaffar. Is one of the best and cheap place to calm ur hunger down. I ordered a dal makhni, channa masala , butter naan and butter rotis. The bill that i got was 220 which is very affordable.
I think, this was the best dal I had after long long time.

Really good place for vegetarians in Karol Bagh.
Visited for the first time had dal tadka, aloo naan, paneer butter masala and green chilly parathas. Dal was simple yet flavoursome. Paneer butter masala had a dollop of amul butter on it. Tasted really yumm.. didn't like the aloo naan otherwise paratha and normal naan were good.
Service is quite quick. It's a family restaurant. And the food is simple yet delicious and not too heavy on pocket too. I liked it.
If you like north, Indian vegetarian food, this is the place and they are one of the best Dal makhani in the town. Must have, and must visit.
