Initially little difficult to find it due to street location but thanks to my northeast friend who provided me way!! It is one of the favourable restaurant for North East people in Delhi !! Few vegetarian options but, good for pork enthusiast!!! Here's good and lucrative decoration of bamboo products & well cleaned toilet as well as comfortable sitting dining tables & wifi facility!!

Lots of signature cocktails to go with authentic Naga dishes. Light, non-oily, healthy, and delicious. The smoked non vegetarian platter is a quick and easy option to taste some fiery smoked pork with Naga chilli and spicy chicken. The boiled rice, chicken curry with bamboo shoot, and the fried meat chutney went well together. Also ordered a plate of rosep aon (vegetables cooked with traditional herbs) that offset the meat dishes with its bitterness and herby flavour. Service was perfect, interiors were warm on a winter night and lit up with Xmas decor. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

A little difficult to find, among the alleyways of Humayunpur. But in the end, they always make it worth your while! A cute restaurant, with amazing staff.. They serve some amazing Authentic Naga cuisine. Their smoked pork with bamboo shoot, Chicken liver and gizzard fry, pork ribs, the thalis, the chutneys everything is to die for! If the fish fry is available, kindly do yourself a favour and don't miss it!

It's definitely hard to find, but the effort is so very much worth it. We ordered just a few dishes, a fried pork, a chicken in sesame curry, a tomato & fish chutney and rice, but the two us were completely full and some more in just that !! The fried pork was simply amazing, almost burnt charcoal like texture but soft and sweet meat inside the bite sized pieces. The sesame chicken was entirely something else, the closest one could think of it was like mustard based bengali gravies but still very much a different thing. Not spicy in mouth, but tremendous heat. The chutney was truly firey and and rice mixed with it could be a meal on its own. And finally the rice !! Small grained, a it red in color and rough textured but incredibly soft and flavorful. Overall truly a foodies place, set in a cute warm small basement with wooden tables and beaches.

Located at the end of a narrow lane. This restaurant is serving us with Naga cuisines. Why to visit Hornbill restaurant? You may visit this restaurant to enjoy ethnic food (Nagaland) and to get a Naga dining experience. If you wish to add booze, you may try their Rice beer (a gluten-free beer-like beverage) which is not mentioned on the menu, so you may ask the waiter for the same. P.S.: They are also listed on Zomato for doorstep delivery.

We came here on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t crowded at all. We got the Chef’s Chicken, Sema Thali and the Smoked Pork Sausage with Sticky rice. Also got a Zutho to drink with my meal. Everything was very flavorful and delicious! We loved all the food. The daal was really home cooked and comforting and the pork curry had incredible flavor. The pork itself was soft and crispy. The Chefs Chicken was also incredible. Like eating wings but with some cream sauce and onions for that Indian kick. Will definitely order this again! Zutho was also nice and refreshing and went well with the meal. Great place for Naga flavors, highly recommend this NE Indian restaurant to anyone nearby! Will definitely be back. Advice for staff: would be nice if you could explain the menu a bit more and offer any recommendations. Might be helpful for those new to Naga cuisine.

I've gone to Hornbill multiple times now, and each time has been a memorable experience! The vibes are great, the waiters are friendly, and the food is the stuff of dreams! You do not want to miss out on their Ki paa and Zutha!

Hornbill beckons all pork lovers who desire their smoked meat with a dash of bamboo shoot and bhoot jolokia. These guys really know how to deliver Naga cuisine both in terms of quality and quantity. Although not explicitly listed on their menu, be sure to enquire about the availability of their rice beer for it makes a worry appetizer before the food arrives!

If you are craving for some naga delights while in delhi then go for this place. The pork here is good specially the fried one and the ambience is so homely.

i had my initial apprehensions as my friends warned d food is very spicy..bt i was definitely in fr an amazing experience...we ordered the fish and pork thali..every dish was served at the right temperature and tasted mashallah...the dal was thick (as i like it), the fish had the right amount of bamboo shoot and of all the boiled gourd was a refreshing taste..hornbill uses authentic ingredients and food was served in traditional serveware...a must visit for people with open tast

Sesame seed smoked pork & chilly smoked pork with rice are the best pork I have ever tasted so far...it's heavenly.. While writing this I am already drooling thinking about it
Priyanka Nongkhlaw
We ordered the thali. The dal was OK. The rice was soggy. The pork curry was full of fats. One tiny piece of a very sad boiled cucumber. Next time you go, pack water. Coz you will have to buy a tiny bottle of water for 20/- worth for 10/- outside. Such a disappointing dinner experience we had. But I must add, the pork ribs were good and so was the ambience. Other than that... Just sad.

I think it's a wonderful place pretty cheap and the food is really awesome ... I really liked the shrimp salad .. Thumbs up to the food

The first time I went to horbill was in 2016.. back then the service were very good and the foods were very delicious.. but now the servicing has become very bad and the foods are not that good anymore. It's high time the owner and the helpers upgrade what's needed.

My sister and her guy were in town and they wanted to have home cooked food. Delicious chicken and pork. Me being as lazy as always thought of taking them to Hornbill instead and voila!! What an amazing experience. The Naga cuisine of smoked pork and spicy chicken just blew me away. Love food love hornbill. Wishing you guys all the best.

I felt at home from the moment I sat down on the oriental seating arrangements. Food is well cooked and yummy yummy to the taste buds. I personally liked the presentation the most and I believe I will frequent this place henceforth. The rice beer, served in wooden mugs big enough for a bear hug, was the main attraction to our gang of five. Definitely a must visit for quality foodies. Good place, good food, good service and super atingba Thank you Hornbill!

This place is exactly what Safdarjung Enclave needed the most - A nice ambience with good music, warm staff with good serving skills and brilliantly cooked authentic Naga food. We are so glad that you exist !! Maintain your standards everything else will fall in place :) good luck guys..

Absolutely amazing naga food

My first time in trying proper Nagaland's Cuisine. A different experience.all together! Started the meal with rice beer which tasted amazing. Ordered smoked pork with Bamboo shoot and axone which is the state's authentic dish. My friend's warned me not to smell that particular dish but promised me that it'll taste great which exactly had happened. Totally loved the pork ribs and is highly recommend.

Zutho was over-fermented. Chef’s Pork & Chicken with Seasonal Leaf had stale vegetables and rubbery meat.
Jennish Moirangthem
Miserly quantity for miserable quality! What a combination! There are way better restaurants serving the same kind of cuisines you are looking for. Avoid this restaurant if you don't want to be disappointed :)
ZEENA
Ambience is cute but small so you have to wait sometimes.
The dishes were delicious and the staff were courteous.
Lemba Meitei
Pinch of salt is heavier that ₹.480 smoke pork and bamboo shoots. Beside the taste was not that great. Please order from other restaurants. Atleast you will save money or enjoy good meal. But not from this restuarant.
Chumbeni Ngullie
Would really appreciate if you guys make the delivery service available around central Delhi area( to be specific- MAMC ) ☺️. Love the food 👌👌
Tessa Trakha
The food taste horrible plus the quantity of the pork 2 piece. After horrible experience with the food. I have stop ordering from here.

Order at your own risked.

Hornbill used to be our go-to place for good Naga food. But the taste and attitude of the staff has detiorating these past few weeks. Portion of pork ribs was way lesser than before(ordered a week ago). The pork in the smoked pork with axone and bamboo shoot we ordered ystd was anything but 'smoked'. It was straight out stale meat. Expected much more when I'm paying 480 for a dish. You need to up the quality of the food and also train ur staff to listen to customer complaints and feedbacks if you want to retain loyal customers.
Pooja
Ordered Pork Axone with Bamboo shoot , and I’m sorry ! Never ordering again ! We got 5 PC’s of pork , oh wait let me rephrase - we got 5 pcs of pork FAT , only 5 percent pork meat . There was No Flavour , no spice , nothing ! Ordered food after 3 months after Covid and I’m sorry to say I regret it totally . Never ordering again . And I know it’s Covid time and I should be polite but I’m paying for a certain service and I expect edible food . I’m a big fan of Naga food and to make it worst this had some certain smell . Very dissatisfied and disappointed.
Zira Colney
Too expensive for the taste and the portion.

I ordered for a chicken bamboo shoot, the delivery was quick however when I opened the box with excitement there was hair inside. It disappointed me because I was expecting a good service.I had to discard the food without having it.I would appreciate if you can get back to me and I want a refund or service recovery.
Rajesh Khwairakpam
What's going on Hornbill.. today I ordered pork with bamboo shoot through zomato. You took the full charge but not a single piece of bamboo shoot in the curry.
Kathakali Chatterjee
Tried Naga cuisine for the first time, the "Smoked Pork Curry" was awesome! If the location could be a bit better, the joint would do really well!
Sarthak Arya
Went there with my north east buddies, I’m new to this cuisine so sometimes its a hit or miss with me like i still don’t like taste of rice beer but the food was great specially the chefs chicken and ao and sema thali 😍, I’m also a sucker for spicy food all the thali’s came with dry fish tomato chutney which i also fell in love with Ambience was calm and relaxing. Definitely my top place for having north eastern cuisine
Ezung Malo
Good Naga dishes.
Siegfrid B. Sangma
The food was good... but the packaging was mishandled, where the daal had spilled all over the parcel. Therefore the rating of 3, instead of 4.
Raymond Singh
Food was average. Not upto the level i was expecting it to be though. The pork was too crunchy and oily. And the pork curry had too much oil in it. Need to simplify the dish
Sakshi Singh
It's a Naga cuisine restaurant where I couldn't find anything wow but I believe it's all about taste of a particular individual
So for me it was a huge wastage but other people may like it totally depends upon person to person.
Arlette Irankunda
I had an opportunity to visit this place and i loved it...it was a different experience. I love pork and my taste buds were satisfied.

The place is cozy, the lightening is perfect and the service is great. The only flaw is that the fried food is a little bit oily. However, i will definitely come back
Pamtwi
As a northeastern who is a big lover of pork, this restaurant is a life saver. We had so many dishes, from smoked pork thali to chef's special pork dish. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal, went back home fully satisfied. The prices were quite reasonable and I look forward to visit the place again soon
Nishant
A very good experience. Went there recently for lunch, I ordered the bamboo chicken with raja mircha and the axone chutney. The bamboo chicken broth was amazing and the raja mircha was adding such a nice flavour to it. I also liked the experience of trying axone. The one thing I did not like was that the chicken was way too overcooked, it was super hard to bite into and had lost all of it's flavour and texture.
Kheshe
I have ordered Smoked pork tali and the Pork was delicious however the quality was little less. Would have rated 5 stars if the quality of the rice and the boils were little more.
R Choudhury
All the thalis are quiet good. Its a cozy place but the sitting arrangement is personally not what i most ppl would like a lil uncomfortable. Dishes like gizzard, pork ribs, thalis. Price point is a bonus
Nishtha Lama
I’ve always ordered from this place and liked it but last night, the fish curry had so much salt like someone had dropped a whole packet in there. The tomato chutney could do better seriously.
Hunaty
Not so attractive ambience but the food served here is awesome... One of the best naga cuisine I've visited so far in Delhi... The pork innards was damn 😍😍 so well cooked and tasty, fresh pork with bamboo shoot is a must try... Chicken innards were great but they serve more of liver and very few gizzards.. Well for Smoked pork with axone it really disappointed me, I even found bamboo shoot in it and it didn't taste much difference except the fact that it was smoked pork and the other was fresh pork .. They served it with very small amount of axone..
And coming to boil, It was served so cold and unfresh.... Yet overall experience was good... I really enjoyed the food... Thanks to such outlets for serving naga food... The service was amazing, I totally Recommend Northeastern Foodies to pay a visit...
Hornbill team keep it up...

I came to this outlet on the recommendation of a friend so had a reasonable expectation from the place, also being from the north east had high hopes of finding some authentic Naga food. We went on a Sunday so the place was packed but we were lucky to find a table without having to wait, we were seated in a traditional style low table and stools to sit on. The ambiance was good and represented the Naga style and culture. The menu had many kinds of cuisines and also thalis of indigenous tribes of the state. We asked for help as we did not know some of the cuisines and the waiter was knowledgeable and was able to explain the items. After ordering we had to wait for 15-20 minutes which was reasonable to time to prepare as we ordered Pork Thalis. The food served was hot and delicious with good amount of quantity. The vegetables were boiled just like it should be and there 5 different types vegetables and 1 chutney provided. One area where they can improve is that they can provide some mouth fresheners after the course.
Pipi
Ordered chicken gizzard and tomato fish chutney today evening. Chicken gizzard was quite good and reasonable price compared to other places, but tomato fish chutney wasn't good....there was no any sign of dry fish, just tomato and Chilly. You guys should try dry fish chutney from Oh! Assam....and make a comparison.
Teshang Marak
Worst experience ever. I ordered pork with bamboo shoot and it was delivered pretty quick. Nine minutes to be specific. Which leads me to believe that I was probably served leftovers from the night before. The dish got spoiled after a couple of hours. Froth and bubbles started forming. When I reached out to complain I was told that it was way too late to get help because didn’t contact them right away. Regardless, if the pork was cooked fresh it wouldn’t spoil in 2 hours. Disappointed and never ordering again from honrbill.

The best Pork experience of my life, yet.

Being from a North-Eastern State, I sometime crave for home cooked and authentic naga food and this where I land up to kill those craving.
Located in a corner of Safdarjung enclave, it is little confusing to find for the first timer, as it is hidden between buildings. Nevertheless, for food lovers, like me, it is not difficult to find it.
Have been visiting this place for some few years, the ambience has stayed the same. Decorated with bamboo and wood, it gives an ethnic feel. However, the restaurant is at the basement, the need to be little lighted up to give a little brighter ambience.
Have not been disappointed with the food so far. I love pork thali and pork curry. Chicken entrails was little oily, as I personally prefer dry, but it does not disappoint with the flavour. People who do not eat too much spicy (chilli) can be little cautious as north eastern people love eating spicy yet flavourful food.
Thali quantity is proportionate and enough for single person. Prices are okay. Rice beer is good.
One small drawback is the slow service. I hope it could be improved.
Overall, I would recommend people to visit and try authentic North-eastern cuisine at "The Hornbill".
**I will reserve one out of five star, for future review"

Good ambiance with great food. A bit on the pricey side but the good food totally compensates it. Zutho and smoked pork thali are absolutely amazing and my go to even when I order food home.
This is one of the places i love to go when i crave for authentic naga food. The flavour takes me back to nagaland . It is cozy and the ambience gives you a homely vibe (naga). Love how the staffs are so polite and energetic. The food was delicious , the chutney is a must try . I tried the dry fish with tomato , pork with bamboo shoot and axone. Loved everything about this place. The washroom was not upto the mark though , needs improvement but definetly a must visit place if you are a food lover and loves to try new things. ❤️
Shambhavi Akhouri
Love Naga cuisine. I've been to this place a lot many times and have absolutely loved it. The cuisine is full of flavor and lots of herbs are used. Usually I've tried Pork Thali and smoked pork salad. The proportion of Thali is more than enough for one person. I've ordered it as well and the same proportion comes. Even the price is feasible.
Francis Nazi
I really enjoyed the ambience, the staff can be more attentive and the wash basin wasn't working well. But most importantly the food is really good, i enjoyed the anishi and axone pork, it was very near to an authentic naga dish. The sides like, bitter gourd fry, cauliflower and chana salad, or the chutney was appetizing. A scrumptious experience.

I ordered 'pork with bamboo shoot', but there was no bamboo shoot 😫😭.
Quantity: Okay
Quality:Good
Taste:Okay, a bit salty..
Packaging:Good..

Excellent food and service.
Best place in Delhi for Naga cuisine.
The pork dishes are a must try for whoever visits.
Also the chicken starters are great.
I order the rice beer every time i go too, with food.

I usually love the food from here but was hugely disappointed today. Had ordered pork thali but the restaurant forgot to send me pork itself. Couldn't even contact the restaurant through any of the numbers provided on zomato since they are invalid. Please update your numbers and avoid such carelessness. Really miffed.
Achiehumtsoe
First of all, where do you source your meat from? Because this is the second time I’ve ordered from your restaurant and the quality of pork is disgusting. You can add all the bambooshoots, axones and anishis of the world but if the meat is low quality OR even worse, diseased, you’re running a racket at the cost of people’s health. Also, the meat is hard and chewy AF. I’ve had pork since I can remember and it has never been this hard. Please cook it longer. I don’t trust pork that looks like this and is this hard and chewy. Needless to say, I wasted 350 bucks tonight on Pork Khollar. Alag manu khan tu bishi bhal lage naki... hoilebi itu tu thik nai dey. Morom bara mangso olop bhal jaga bara mangibi.
Chasing Shadow
I ordered pork thali and it was just awesome ..... everything in it was too good ...Perfectly cooked and quantity is sufficient for one person .....
Ebibeni Lotha
It's not worth paying my money for the food i just purchased ". The food are too less compared to your prices ,and the taste is whack AF. Shittg taste . All you care about is Money. This little bowl for 300 rs really??

This is a place situated in a very narrow street had hard time searching but once you reach there the ambience is very good . Nice music playing on . They have kept all the spices and pics of their different naga tribes ss display the decor is also nice with bamboowalls overall a very nice place
Perfect hommie food . Love their thalis the quantity is more than enough to fill 2 people
The price is also very reasonable
A must visit when you crave for home food in delhi
Shobana Vetrivel
I ordered a smoked pork thali online through Zomato. Got everything else but the smoked pork. None of the numbers given here work. Never ordering from this place again.
Shashwati Goswami
Authentic Naga food destination. Pocket friendly. The sticky rice is one dish to talk about. Zutho sometimes is a little too sour. The pork with bamboo shoots is just so mouth watering! The boiled vegetables are the perfect companion to the food. The akhuni chutney I can die for. Always fresh always tasty!

I chose to go to Hornbill after reading the reviews and reviewing the menu. First off, my reasons for giving it a 4 star rating...it's difficult to find this place since it's tucked away in a tiny alley. The directions and signage are vague and don't jump out at you. As a result, I ended up wandering through the alleys around and behind it for a solid 10-15 minutes before finally locating my destination of choice. The seating is a little cramped as far as leg space goes, the interior a little too much on the dark side and the servers leave some to be desired. On the upside, they offer free Wi-Fi and the food is finger licking good. While I've had northeastern food before, there were a couple of things that were a first and I'm glad I chose to try them out at Hornbill because their food really is delicious. My recommendation...keep your eyes open for the signage so you don't go hungry. I almost gave up looking for it but am glad I didn't.
Ria Biswas
excellent food. it was my first time pork with my best friend in years.amidst the crooked alley a small shack corner stands the best pork ribs in delhi.. My neww favorite place and will come back alwayss again
Daisy Mowke
Have tried their pork thali, smoked pork and bamboo shoot curry and pork ribs. I wouldn't call it excellent but they indeed do a good job with the authenticity of the dishes considering the flavours of Naga food. Service isn't exactly great either. Ambience is too dark, almost feels dingy. However, what I really liked about the place is their rice beer- tastes amazing and the quantity is more than satisfying!
Wamika Kapur
This is a nice place for Naga food, not my favourite but very nice. I tried their pork ribs, smoked pork thali, normal pork curry thali and all were nice. We even ordered their chicken thali but the chicken was very hard so I didn’t enjoy it. The way to this restaurant may confuse you since you have to go through a very small lane. The place is also small but the crowd is decent.
Amardeep Bardhan
One of the best place for Northeast Food. They provide good portion size - order for 2 and 3 can easily have it. The taste is quite authentic and one can also find the traditional dishes. I had the best pork rib at Hornbill. Would visit there again. Highly recommend.
Food - 9/10
Ambience - 8/10
Portion size - 10/10
Location - 6/10

It was just a little difficult to find this place, but the food was worth it. We ordered the pork ribs, they were so yummy and succulent. We also ordered the fish thali and smoked pork with bamboo shoots; everything was beautifully cooked and flavoursome. The place had a comfy homey vibe. Don’t forget to try the tomatoes fish chutney.
Logan Blackburn
Highly disappointed as I ordered for smoked pork with sticky rice but found stones in the rice. I had to discard the food. Please make sure you have a quality control over your food items. This is so disgusting to find stones in the food and having to chew the stones.
Twinkle Chutia
It's awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
I had pork dry fry n i tell u it was fingerlicking delicious . It's definitely a BIG YES to this restaurant. All the Assamese people out there should try this out❤.

I had to throw away the food after having two spoons. There were gravels in the rice, it smelled horrible and the pork had a meagre meat with large chunk of fats. Total waste of my money. Worst experience with Zomato till date !
Vinisekhose
Really good food and has maintained their reputation for a long time now. Love the smoked pork thali and the innards. Would recommend trying those .
Keshanparidhi2474
Best place to go if you wanna eat the amazing Naga style pork
Every time the urge to eat the delicious pork and I drive across the city for this food
The rice is amazing and reminds you of home. The chefs special chicken is worth trying too.
Pema
Wow just wow
One of the most authentic place to try out
I just loved every bit of whatever I ordered
Everything is worth trying but my favourite was the pork ribs and the smoked pork Thali with the Raja mircha pickle and the fresh chopped Raja mircha. Do try their Zutho a fermented rice drink pretty similar to tibetan Chung. Totally worth every bit of your penny and also it’s not an expensive place. Great going guys 👌
Chitrangi Kakoti
A bit difficult to find but the food is totally worth weaving your way through the alleys of Humayunpur. The ambience is cozy with dim lighting. I tried the Ki Paa and the Smoked Pork Thali. I found the Ki Paa — a type of a salad — delicious. The thali is sufficient for two people, with adequate amounts of rice, smoked pork, chutney. If you like spicy food, do try their spicy chutneys. Service could be better.
Supeksha Puri
The food was disgusting. I can’t even express it , I literally pucked after taking the first bite of the So called chicken thali , I even ask Zomato to take the food back and request for a refund , which ofcourse , they didn’t !!
So disappointed with Zomato as well, is this the way Zomato treat their regular customer ?
I have no idea why is the rating of this place is high .
It was not edible and now literally I don’t even feel like eating anything !
It was so disgusting and stinky !
Bisakh Bhattacharya
Had severe diarrhoea after eating frizzly pork from here. Still battling with dehydration. Always have loved pork but this experience was not good.
Saurabh
I went to this place with taste buds which screamed north Indian. As the evening ended and platters were finished, I walked out a complete convert. The food from the north east is an acquired taste, and it is magical once you settle into its aromatic sensibilities. Hornbill is a beautiful little space, with its tribal ambience, bamboo styling, and food that never disappoints... Try Kipa for starters.
Anini Debbarman
Being a North Eastern, I search for good pork serving places. Hence I gave this place a try.

I honestly was disappointed with the service. We ordered 2 pork thalis and smoked pork ribs. The ribs were well cooked. The pork thali tasted good.

However what I disliked was the fact that the food was served cold while the table right infront of me was served with freshly cooked/warm food.

Proper cutlery was missing, despite asking few times the boy just didn't seem to understand the need of knives to cut the pork.

Some people might like the ambience just because some artifects from North East are hanged, however I must point out its darker than it should.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HORNBILL OF MAJNU KA TILL (check my review) rather than this. If you cannot travel far, please check out Nagaland Kitchen which is near by but may run a little deep into your pocket.
Ananya
So let me start by saying that my sister is a big north-eastern food fan, and she has been to this place many times with friends, and this time also, she was the one who took us here with family. It is a traditional Nagaland restaurant. The place is adorned with typical Naga artifacts, photos, posters, and trinkets. It was lovely and so interesting to see. My sister's usual order is fish curry, pork curry, rice, and yellow dal, and so, these were what we ordered that particular time too. My mom's verdict says that it all tasted exactly like home-cooked food; so if you're looking for good, traditional, home-cooked, no fuss food, you'll like this place. Fish curry and pork curry were good and a little spicy. We also ordered sesame chicken and honey lemon tea.

One thing to note, that my sister didn't mind but we did a little bit, is that the restaurant has that particular bamboo shoot smell that every characteristic Naga dish has. The moment you enter the restaurant, you drink-in the overbearing smell. It takes a little while before you get used to it. We had the same smell in the sesame chicken. It can be a problem for some of you out there who probably aren't too experimental. The honey lemon tea was nice. The staff was courteous, although, I felt that there existed a little bit of communication gap. If you're looking for plain, traditional food, this place is worth trying out.

Been ordering from this place for almost two years now. Haven't gotton bored yet. i love this cuisine and this place has delivered to its expectations 90% of the time. Their ethnic pork preparations are spot on as well as their fish, chutnies and thalis. but i don feel sometimes there is an excess of oil.
What sets this restaurant apart from its naga counterparts is that it has maintained a similar standard over a while now. I'd recommend this place to any who wants to try indian cuisine away from the usual mainstream

Heard lot about this naga restaurant and so finally paid visit today with my naga friends . Food was really nice . Everything we ordered tasted delicious, it was a first for me and I like it. Would look forward to come again very soon! Cheers👍.

How can northeastern staying in Delhi not love this place. One of the best place to have authentic naga food. Pork with bamboo shoot is love. You need to give this place a try.

Hornbill always disappoints when it comes to delivery and consistency. I love this cuisine and order almost every day from other Naga food joints but Hornbill has always under delivered. The food quantities are always different, they don’t look at extra requests, they don’t add spice after multiple requests. I cannot believe this is their attitude. Last night I ordered The Chefs Pork and the deep fried chicken- asked for extra spicy food . Waited 1 hour minimum- The pork was average- nothing special about it - zero spice, the chicken was so overcooked that i took a bite and tried to chew for about 30 - 40 seconds but had to spit it out coz it was so so so dry I thought I’d choke 😂 Called the restaurant but they said this is how it is, zomato support is never any help. Called the restaurant back, all they kept saying was that the restaurant is closed - even hung up on me..
It really hurts when someone in the name of authentic cuisine takes you for a ride and thinks you’re a fool to not understand their chicken. I might not be from the North east but I love authentic Naga food. So please don’t underestimate your customers, if they don’t speak your language. And don’t underestimate someone in the food business. That chicken was not even smoked to justify the texture- it was hard as a rock, it had breast peices which is so stupid i mean why will I order fried breast? Their attitude is the worst- complete lack of respect and responsibility towards the customers. Definitely expecting a refund. Will not pay for inedible chicken. never ordering again. Sticking to Bamboo hut and Nagaland kitchen.

This is the best place ever I had a Naga food in Delhi. Really excellent pork and chicken curry. I had been trying different dishes and loved them all. Even the place is super cozy, small but decent. I even tried their sticky rice with smoked pork, soo yummy... :) Always worth a visit 👍

The food here is great, and of good quality too. Especially the pork items. Food deserves a 5/5
But, I am sorely disappointed in the service of the restaurant. They kept me waiting for one and a half hours for the delivery. They lied saying that the delivery person had not arrived. Whereas the poor fellow had been waiting there from since the beginning.
Extremely disappointed with the sticky rice and smoked pork. This was my favorite place to order pork. But with my experience today, I'm definitely not ordering again.
With a hefty amount of 250 INR, there were only two pieces of smoked pork, some peculiar tasting chutney and a hell lot of brown sticky rice. Horrible.

One of my favourite place to eat Naga food, their smoked pork with axoni is the best..

One should also try the Naga rice beer call (zotho)

If this place is not in basement or in the corner it will do so good, cos for those people who don’t know the place, it’s very difficult to find in the first visit

I've come here quite a few times. Frizzled pork is to die for. Axone chutney as well. Service is a little lacking. Ambience is a little too dark. Anyway nice place for chilling.

If you are looking for some good spicy Naga cuisine in South Delhi, this is a good place worth checking out. Good location, good food and moreover my personal priority is the crowd which is good as well.

5 stars because it's some of the best Naga food I have eaten. But I don't know how authentic it actually is. Still, just based on taste (and fast free WiFi), it's a must visit.

I can't say much about the food (although the smells wafting out of the kitchen spoke volumes), because we did not eat here. Needless to say, it's a pork-lovers' paradise. We ordered quite some rice beer and I am definitely going back for more!

The food here is literally fascinating! The dishes are all freshly made and no matter whatever you stuff yourself with doesn't make you feel heavy! I tried the ki Pao as appetizers which was cold salad of pork with kidney beans with ginger & coriander, a fish thali & pork in michinga sauce! All of the absolutely awesome dishes!

Look for a visit soon again!!!

I recently ordered their meal box which had sticky rice, some frizzled pork, fried beans and chutney. First of all the sticky rice was the showstopper. It was cooked in an authentic manner. I liked the chutney and fried beans. The frizzled pork was also tastefully cooked, the only issue with that was there were only two small pieces of pork (though in the picture it looks like there were three). Increasing their number of pieces would be great. Overall it was an authentic experience.

These little places makes you feel home away from home. They managed to give you the tastes of northeast India in quite a good way.
Pork dishes are must try here. Thalis gives you lot of little different tastes of the dishes prepared in an ethnic way. Rice beer doesn't match the real taste but you can give it a try.

Ambience: 4/5
Taste: 4/5
Service: 4.5/5

The place is amazing for home food. It's rich in Naga culture. And the food served was so fresh especially the pork meat. Loved the service. I'll visit this restaurant really soon. Reminds me of home.
