Review Kylin Experience - New Delhi

Rantim Chatterjee
Bringing the best of Oriental, Kylin Experience is one of the finest dine-in with an assortment of Chinese, Japanese and Thai retreat. With their specialized menu and especially the extra-ordinary Sushis, our weekend got overwhelmed with an astonishing visit at the outlet at Mayur Vihar. Once entered, the casual, vibrant and colorful ambiance comes into notice. The saturated and warm lighting themed with grey tone of chairs and tables are greatly synced. The food is a wonderful mélange of fresh, healthy, seasonal dishes bursting with flavors. Profounded with their menu we started off with, In FOOD we had, ➊ GARLIC CHILI FISH. As fresh and authentic it could be. Perfect crisp of the batter and utterly supple texture of the fish. The blend of garlic and chili was well balanced. The overall taste was appetizing. ➋ WOK TOSSED CHICKEN WITH BULLET CHILIES. The most favorable dish in terms of the amalgamation of chilis and finely soy sauce tossed chicken. The taste was absolutely tasteful and with added peanuts, it was alluring. The presentation, however, could have been taken more care. ➌ CHICKEN AND CORIANDER SIEW MAI. The greatly stuffed and authentic chicken and coriander filling were astonishing. The Siew Mai batter was smooth and drooling. Finely tasted and aptly quantified. ➍ CHICKEN AND CORIANDER CRYSTAL. The taste was equivalent to the Siew Mai but the texture of the batter and the blend of taste was comparatively less appealing than Siew Mai. SUSHIS. ➎ PHILADELPHIA ROLL. Salmon & Philadelphia Cheese Uramaki with Cucumber. The color texture of the Sushi looked alluring. The Salmon tasted amazing with the sushi filling of mild-tasting fresh and simple cheese and cucumber. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED* ➏ PRAWN CALIFORNIA ROLL. Tempura prawn roll with lettuce, chili mayo, and Schichimi. Prawn is always been the most the lovable ingredient and it did taste splendid in the sushi format. The prawn tempura has a fine blend of chili mayo and shichimi spice which gave a fine spicy yet tasteful quotient. ➐ DRAGON ROLL. Crab Stick, Salmon, Tuna, Avocado, and Cucumber with Mayonnaise and Teriyaki sauce. One of the most fantasizing variants of the sushi they offer. The Salmon felt absolutely fresh and exquisite as an add-on in this sushi. The foremost likable quotient is that it was overwhelmed with lots of mayo and teriyaki sauce on the top which was quite drooling. *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED* ➑ FRIED ICE CREAM SPRING ROLLS. Quite a distinctive preparation of even the simplest of recipes. The roll batter was fried and filled with cold yet drenching vanilla cream, which was astonishing overall. The taste was eventually delightful. Moreover, the experience was quite a happiness worthy with the eccentric food menu especially their Sushis. The staffing was quite prompt. The aura and the experience altogether worked like a charm.

Awesome Skybar @ Vasant Kunj... with great food, cosy Ambience, DJ music, Shisha n smoke, yummy starters and meal options. Good options for both alcoholic n non alcoholic drinks. I loved being there.

Sweet Corn soup was average... chicken bao was very dry and not good at all... but the California roll, hot stone bowl (very spicy), khao suey were yum... coconut ice cream was not available so we had to settle with chocolate mousse which was ok....

Went to Kylin for dinner with my cousin's and found it to be a great experience.... The ambience is good with unique Asian decor. Their staff is polite with fast service speeds. You must try the Bibibop bowl and their dumplings are excellent. The menu feels fresh and authentic with a plethora of choices for everyone. It's a great place for a family for lunch or dinner.

Possibly the best restaurant serving Asian cuisine! I’m glad that I finally made my first ever visit her and I’m sure to keep pouring here very very often for they offer:- 1. EXCELLENT SERVICE 2. EXCELLENT QUALITY 3. EXCELLENT QUANTITY 4. EXCELLENT FOOD, VARIETY and FLAVOURS 5. EXCELLENT HOSPITALITY ABSOLUTELY, value for money. Need I say more? Coming to food and drinks we ordered- •WOK FRIED DICED CHICKEN WITH SMOKED CHILLIES- an amazing and scrumptious appetiser to start with! •VEGETARIAN PAD THAI NOODLES- I’ve lost the count of number of times I’ve tried Pad Thai at various restaurants but these were just unbeatable! •SAWADEE BOWL- lamb in Thai flavours with sticky rice was again very flavourful •SENTOSA BOWL- chicken in ramen noodles, yet again a great preparation •STRAWBERRY VIRGIN MOJITO- totally refreshing and rejuvenating! •KINGFISHER BEER- the usual, chilled •LEMON SODA- again very refreshing and served to us on the house. •CHOCOLATE COFFEE MOUSSE- divine! I’m overwhelmed with their hospitality and wish to keep trying the variety in the menu! ALSO, I would like to mention that Mr. RAJAN GUPTA was a great server and host! Absolutely, RECOMMENDED!

The GirF dineout is not valid on seafood. Then the hot stone bowl did not have sufficient meat pieces. But otherwise food was amazing and so is the ambience.

Great food close to my house.
It's a very well kept and professional space. Reminds me of the classics like chopsticks or China pearl but in GK.

Nice ambience for a sit down lunch. Love their sticky rice bowls, dimsums and sushi. Nice place to take family, friends or have a work lunch. Location is also convenient.

If you want to have exquisite chinese, there is no other place you should be.
From starters to desserts, everything is top notch here.
Must try: Bibimbap, chilli Fish, Teriyaki chicken with broccoli and soba noodles, Kaffir lime lemonade

I had a great time in Kylie experience. Their food is yum. Although they can do better with the Dimsums. They are stiff when they should be soft and should melt in the mouth.
Thai curry was perfect. I liked it so much that later I even ordered take away!
Ankit
Delightful experience as usual from kylin be it gk or vasant. Good food good service good wine.. Perfect for casual family dinner. Worth it.

Was around GK and came across this name! Have tried this place once in Chandigarh so decided to go for it! The ambience, staff was quite humble and polite. Luckily it was aroumd 4 in the evening, so I could get a table next to the window which had a nice view of the whole market. The food was fantastic. To start with, I ordered Hot and Sour soup followed by Five spice chicken along with Chilli Garlic Noodles. The food was well cooked, luscious and appetizing. Probably, this was my one of the best experience of having Chinese food. I planned to order more but the serving was so huge that there was no question to order more. So, overall the place is great if you are looking for some authentic Chinese food. I'll highly recommend the place.
Cheers!!!
Happy Eating.
Kylin serves the best pan Asian food in the area. Must try their signature bowl meals and the basa chilli garlic fish. Would love to sample more items from their exhaustive menu.
Hitched4food
I went for quick lunch bites, so we ordered Asparagus tempura Maki rolls and Veg Dimsum's platter. I was expecting some really extra ordinary flavours as per their ratings, look & feel of restaurants. Unfortunately I didn't found the food and service above par. It was normal dimsum's. Sushi was better than dimsum's.
Radhika Kamani
Ordered the chicken tuk tuk bowl and was so happy with the order. The food arrives on time. And the packing was also good. The serving of Thai curry and rice were nice. They were not too less or too much. There was good amount of cicken pieces in the curry. The taste of the curry was aslo very delicious. The rice served along with it wasn’t the normal rice that is served by most of the restaurant but the authentic Thai rice that is to be served along with the curry. Very pleased with the experience. Would love to try more dishes

A friend and I went there yesterday for lunch and had a really bad experience. We ordered the non veg dim sum platter and requested that we only want the chicken dim sums and not the veg ones. After 15 mins we received the dim sums and as i was about to eat the 1st one the server came and informed me that they had by mistake given chicken and prawn dim sum platter. I am severely allergic to sea food so I got saved as I had not yet tried it. The server apologized and said he will replace these. Even though it was huge mistake on their end I let it go as I hadnt eaten any. After 15 mins we got our dim sums and this time again they ended up serving us veg ones, and the manager came an aplogised and said that he will get us the chicken ones quickly , but when those came finally they tasted really bad. We went in for a quick bite and we wasted over an hour receiving the wrong order and even though the staff apologised the food and service both were really bad. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Was in GK1 market yesterday evening and came across this outlet .I had tried it before also in Gurgaon so decided to try this location. On entering came to know that dimsums festival is going on by name of Dimsum Galore where you can try variety of dimsums at a fixed try.I tried there dimsums and some sushi.Liked the food very much.

Great experience at the restaurant. The food was top notch. Some of the best Asian food I've had. The taste was consistent across the board. Great service as well.

Excellent place if you like Asian food. Being a fan of the cuisine, I keep trying new places and this is one of the best so far.
First of all, the food was excellent. 5/5. I tried a meal bowl, dim sums and a chicken starter. Each item was well made and cooked to perfection and the flavours were just right.
The service was great as well but this is an area that could be improved a bit as it’s a bit slow especially considering that when I visited the place there were very few people in the restaurant.
The prices are not bad either considering how good the quality of their food and the overall ambience of their restaurant is.
Definitely recommended!
Foody By Heart
The food was very good . Was very typical Chinese food .all the flavours of the dishes was perfect . The service was impeccable . Overall a good place to hangout . I think portion were bit small considering the prices .

Loved the food here so my friend ordered delivery at home, and she ended up getting food poisoning. Please ensure the quality of the food that you deliver-it takes more to love a restaurant than to just have a good time on site!

On my visit here, I ordered for a classic chilli chicken, crackling spinach and corn, baby potato with crushed black pepper, and chilli garlic fish for the starters. Loved all of them except the baby potatoes.
Food was delicious and the service was pretty good.
Surely visiting again.

In a tussle with a friend, over the choice of a Pan Asian restaurant, The Kylin Experience (my choice) won over Burma Burma, simply on account of a much shorter commute. Otherwise, there wasn't much (on paper) to differentiate between two places with similar high ratings.

We arrive at TKY to find ourselves in an unmistakably "Asian" setting as well as in spartan company. The restaurant had a slightly festive look to it, with them celebrating the Chinese Year of the Pig. And my friend proudly declared herself to be gluttonous at that moment (one of the traits of people born in the Year of the Pig, as was listed on the Chinese zodiac-themed table mats). The ambience (including music) was soothing & is ideal for a conversation-heavy dining experience.

So, after a detailed study of an indulgent menu, our gluttonous adventure began with us ordering split portions of Hot & Sour veg soup and a portion of Five Spices Vegetable Steamed dumplings. The soup had an eclectic mix of vegetables that were surprisingly hard to identify, but nevertheless was a satisfying "opener" of all senses! The dumplings were perfect - soft, moist fillings & not crumbling at the first touch. The accompanying sauces, one of them with nice crunchiness to it, simply elevated the taste of the dumplings.

Keeping the Main Course somewhat simple, we decided to order an Egg Fried Rice and a Hong Kong Mushroom, Baby Corn & Spinach curry to accompany the rice. Both were well made dishes, with the chilli in the curry further opening up our senses. By the end of it all, we were reaching out for tissue papers to help us deal with the after effects of having "opened" senses!

Thus, in order to cool off, we ordered an interesting dessert - Fried Ice Cream Spring Rolls. Both, the ice cream & the pastry that made for the rolls were very well done and formed a great combo together. The sweet levels were balanced and the rolls had a nice, easy, soft crunch to them.

All-in-all, it was a very satisfying, gluttonous meal that set us back by ₹1400 (sans alcohol & with 1 Zomato Gold voucher).

I would recommend TKY for a nice, quiet, intimate & hugely satisfying Pan Asian dining experience.

Nicely big portions, good ambience and a very courteous staff in this lovely Greater Kailash restaurant. Recommended dish : Lamb in Black Pepper Sauce.

This place has wonderful meal bowls both veg and non veg. Great sushi as well. For people who want authentic experience, do visit this place!
Nidhijain2765
Decent food but they charge for( a usually complimentary )Jasmine Tea! Service can do with a lot of improvement. Hardly two tables were occupied on our visit but each time we had to make a lot of effort to catch the servers attention.
Rupalik.05
Food was good but the service is super slow. We had a wait time of about 40 min between our appetisers and main course despite of ordering both together.
Basunag1
The sushis were fantastic. The noodles were missing from the ramen noodles. I had to wait for 58mins for the food to reach my table. There are better asian food restaurants which are priced similarly/lesser and have better taste. Overall an average taste restaurant. The food is good but not great.

Absolutely lovely experience.. great choice of food and good taste .. kept its originality... I loved the presentation as well and packing ...
One thing missing was the various sause to accompany the food .. rest was good looking forward on trying more on the menu ..

My favorite place for asian food, love their hot stone bowl. I've tried most of the dishes their. Nutty chicken in starters is one of the best, Pad thai is also nice. And have their Jasmine tea in the end.

I had heard so much about this place and after the overwhelmingly pleasant reviews on Zomato, decided to visit a little before Christmas 2018.

The location is great - in the heart of N block market and the staff are very polite and helpful - going as far as to provide for food items not listed explicitly on the menu. They were extremely eager to make this a pleasant experience for us.
I visited the place early in the evening, when it was empty, so the service was extremely prompt.

The sushi (pictured here) was decent and well wrapped.

All the food was artfully presented.

However, my grouse with the place began with the second dish I ordered, a rice bowl that tasted distinctly Punjabi rather than anything close to Asian. The flavour of red chillis overwhelmed the taste of the meat and the veggies. I could taste the garam masala in the rice .
I would have ordered more, but the rice bowl really put me off trying any more food here.

Since I used Zomato gold, the price was slightly moderated and did not pinch the pocket as paying the full price may have - our bill for two people sampling the menu amounted to Rs 900.

For those looking for authentic Chinese/Thai/Vietnamese/Japanese, I'd recommend they give this place a skip. At best, sticking to the nigiri and sushi menu would be advisable.
Great place for Asian Cuisine. The Khao Suey and Bibimbap were good and fulfilling. I have seen fancier Asian places in terms of ambience though, but food mostly makes up for everything. Service was also good
Uditgupta81
The place is just wow..what an ambience...place has its own charm unlike other places...it can be a perfect dating spot or any special occasion..food is an art and crafted superbly..for a pan asian cuisine its a must visit..

If in GK1 and looking for great Asian cuisine , this is the place to bang on . Good food , nice ambience coupled with awesome staff . Enjoyed it fully . Little bit pricy but worth try .

And my foodie soul wanted Asian food today, so I went to the Kylin experience and it sure was a good one. As I was alone I couldn't try too many things, but what I tried was just delicious. To talk about the ambience this is a very nice small little restaurant with a very warm vibe.
I ordered a chicken dimsum chillie oil and teppaniyaki combo which was rice and fish in butter garlic sauce. If you like spicy Asian food this isn't the right dish but if you love mild dishes with good flavour this is just great. Flavourful sticky rice with perfectly cooked fish was a yummy combination. Can't wait to go back and try more.

Happy Eating ❤️

Follow me on Instagram the_foodie_soul18

Had a dinner for two on Monday night. We were served cold pork which we asked to change. The manager did change but something still went wrong and we both are having fever and loose motions since then.
Natasha Vatsa
it's a small outlet in gk market..had ordered passion fruit margarita, classical chilly chicken, chilly chicken dimsums, wok tossed chicken two pepper sauce, pad thai noodles, balinese, virgin mojito..food was nice however the service was not up to the mark..while serving midway the server would head to another table or the order would just be kept on the table..focus was on other tables is what i felt..visit for the food not for the service

We went to Kylin experience previously and found it good. However, this time we wanted a take away and repeated the same order we had previously placed - veg chilli garlic hakka noodles. It was an utter disappointed when we opened our package at home. The noodles were prepared in so much oil and contained negligible vegetables, you could compare it to boiled noodles with chilies. It's sad that the restaurant would treat take away orders such way. Just avoid take away at this place.

After few recommendations and reading reviews, i chose to have dinner here with family. Funny part, every second item asked frok menu was not available. Food was so bad and lacked proper flavor. Their signature dimsum was not cooked properly. May be it was bad day for me here or they crew were not in mood to serve food well as they were around closing time.
Shreys Rawat
Best Thai food I've ever had . Service was excellent , the staff was understanding and humble . Ambience was top notch as well . Zomato gold on top of that made it even better . Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to try out sea food and noodles .

Been to “The Kylin Experience” for dinner. Must say I had a wonderful experience and left the restaurant with a desire to come back not just ones but many more times. They have a unique wide range of sushi, dumplings, bao etc. I had Gangam bowl, pork belly, grilled tuna and salmon which were truly awesome in taste. The quantity was sufficient which is absolutely worth of value for money. Keep it up. Hoping to budge again very soon 😜.

I have been to the GK branch 2-3 times so far, never been disappointed. Its well managed and decorated nicely. Its comparatively small but i think they are expanding to another floor it seemed to be under construction. The food was undoubtedly good. Each time we ordered something different and everything was yum. Cheers!!

I believe anything that I say will not do justice to what is served at the restaurant. Once in a week I crave for oriental food and this place is always on the top of my list.
I have explored their menu without any reservations and trust me, when I say every time I have walked out happy and satisfied.
I have tried their
Sticky fried rice
Pad Thai noodles
Chicken in mala sauce and two pepper sauce.
Glazed fish (teppeniyaki)
Teriyaki chicken
Hot stone bowl
Krabi bowl
But one dish that has stolen my heart completely is the Green Thai curry. So i have been a loyal red Thai curry eater and this place made me consider my loyalty to the extent that now when I think of Thai curry, well, Green it is!
The smooth, comfortable and warm flavour with the hint of lemon grass in the end, takes you to food heaven.
Please go ahead and give this place a try, I'm sure you won't be disappointed with either the quality or quantity.

I am very disappointed in this place I’m generally not a review writer but this place has upset me so much that I decided to write . It started from the time we were seated ,my mom n me had to wait 20 mins to Just give the order , the basics were also not met no water was served in the meantime or through out our time there. When I asked they said staff is off . The cutlery placed on the table had dust lik it’s been there for days , the Sauces were removed from a wooden cupboard n were not even covered with a top to preserve any hygiene levels. I went to the floor upstairs to use the loo and omg it was disgusting not cleaned for days made me loose my appetite completely ... disgusting will never go back or recommend this place..

Amazing sushi 🍣 and the sake is a must try!
The staff were well informed about the cuisine and well mannered
The decor was suave. The bowls are tasty.

It was a wonderful experience at Kylin. We ordered pan fried noodles with prawns and sliced pork in pepper sauce. Every ingredient was so rightly mixed, I loved every bit of it. The Zomato Gold membership also brought down the bill to mere 1000 as Kylin charged us only for the noodles and the soup.
I wouldn’t have known if the polite host didn’t enquire about my Zomato membership.
Indeed a great experience. Keep serving good authentic delicacies.
Love Anwesha

One of the best oriental cuisines I have ever tasted.
I had heard all good things about it from everyone who had visited prior and now after visiting I attest by all the good things.
The severs were a delight, the food was amazing, the restro is a little cramped, but it’s a satellite version of the main Kylin so that’s okay.
And @Zomato Gold 1+1 is a great saver.
Shweta Gupta
Well managed, polite staff. The ambience is great. A fine dining place where the food is on point. I had kung pao chicken, chicken open bao, dimsums platter, prawn noodles and regardless of anything, everything was just amazing. Also, quick service is a plus point! Enjoyed a good, calm saturday night!

The Kylin Experience at N block GK 1 is comparatively small but has been nicely designed and has a relaxed and lively ambience.
The staff are cordial and good at their work,
All the food we ordered were perfect in taste and appearance, highly recommendable Place .
Manasa
Good place, worth a visit.

Food - 5/5 (we ordered soup, dumplings and sushi - all of them were extremely tasty)

Ambience - 4/5

Service - 5/5 (they were willing to customize as per requirements)

Price - 3/5 (given the quantity of food, the cost was extremely steep even after applying Zomato Gold)
Taruna
We had come for a little celebration for my husband's birthday, though we came late but we had asked whether they would be serving us during the late hours which they very well agreed to.
The servers were constantly standing on our head which didn't feel very good, we weren't able to have our personal family affair with them evading the same.
The food also wasn't very appealing.
The quantity has also decreased comparatively.
Renuka Kamath
What amazing food! It was a treat to eat there. Each and everything that was ordered was made exceptionally well and presented even better. The bao was made so well. Had the veg one, and it was amazing. The prawn water chestnuts dumpling is a must order! The Nasi Goreng was outstanding!

I liked the ambience... surprisingly peaceful and inviting.
Please don't miss going there..
Pranati
The food was very nice. It was tasty, and novel. But, we found about 15 mosquitoes in the restraunt. Thankfully, none of them entered our food. Also the service was not that good. The servers not not well versed in the dishes. We ordered the tofu starter and didn't know it was so dry, we asked the server to wait a second, he didn't stop serving, but he actually bent over the table to serve my brother.
Sumegha
An amazing place to be, went there with my office team few days ago. Kyline experience is beautiful ,classy, interior are awesome, they serve authentic Chinese, thai and Japanese food. Overall the experience was nice and ambi was good. Although the service was poor. One of my friend ordered a drink, she got that drink when we were almost done. It took them almost 45min to bring that drink to the table. Giving three ⭐ to them because of the poor service they have.
Saakshi Tiwari
We came to this place for the 4th time for the love of their food. Sadly, this is gonna be the last experience here since they served us non veg instead of vegetarian food that we asked. Really really feel cheated and disappointed. Cant trust
what they serving us.
Aryaman Sethi
The packaging was really poor I must say. The whole container of soy sauce got leaked in the packet and the food got spoilt. They should definitely work on the packaging and the zomato should tell their delivery boys to be more careful.
R Garg
One of the best garlic sticky rice and thai green curry dishes that I have had till date. Definitely try these on your next visit. The staff is polite and they know their dishes.
Nidhi Gupta
Kylin experience always means good food times. I usually go to vasant kunj Kylin, but tried the GK outlet recently. Being a vegetarian its always a challenge at such places to find something different to have. So I asked the server for suggestion and he suggested Veg TUk Tuk bowl and i ordered. I must say the meal was quite nice and i was happy with choice of food till i felt a little uncomfortable a while later. After sometime i started getting a feeling of having non-veg though there were obviously no pieces. My assumption is that they used chicken broth but am not sure. So veggies please be careful.

This place is one of my favourites. I loved this place for its ambience when I visited first. The ambience has taken a hit after the second floor and open balcony has been closed down after the MCD sealing drive. However this place still continues to attract me due to the lipsmacking taste of the food it serves. The chicken kothe dumplings, chicken goreng, chicken hakka.noodles and the thai green curry are some of my favourites. Dineout and Zomato Gold have good offers for this place.

However I have a piece of advice for the management. The service can be improved. The crew seems to be too fussy whenever you present some kind of offers at the restaurant. They seem to be too rigid with rules and keeps arguing with the diners over discounts and offers. This atitude is unacceptable in a upmarket restaurant like this one. I have been to other restaurants like Mamagoto where the service is smooth like a breeze. They seem to be ever ready to cooperate with the diners. You must understand that service is what sets apart a category 'A+' restaurant from an 'A'. I would love to give this place a 5 star but will give only 4 stars becasue of the service.
Sanjeev Makhija
Excellent food/great ambience....really enjoyed the food ...true Chinese taste .... worth the money spent ....starters/main course...all were really good
Thanks
Tushar Renjhen
A very good place to have authentic chinese food. Had pad thai noodles for the first time and those were absolutely tasty. The soups and main course were also very delicious. The quantities were very filling and well worth the money!
Overall a very good experience and would definitely visit again.
Niyonika Chhabra
Chinese is my favourite cuisine and this was a highly recommended Chinese restaurant. So I had to try it. Honestly, it didn't disappoint as all.

Food - 5/5 - Everything was well seasoned and cooked.

Ambience - 5/5 - The restaurant has beautiful decor interior designing.

Service - 5/5 - The service was prompt and the staff was really courteous.
Pranjal Gupta
Been here a few times. The recent visit was flawless. Ordered 2 pepper chicken, hot stone bowl and pan fried noodles. The quantity was nice and so was the taste. Loved it.
Ankur Bajaj
The Padthai was extremely sweet. Even after raising this concern with the management they weren’t bothered to fix it. Bao was not soft at all. Dumplings were average. Staff was not courteous
Jaspreet Singh
I've been here thrice - mostly because it's a great value for money with Gold. The service is great - at times slightly slow. But that's the general vibe of the place - slightly laidback and relaxing. Perhaps, it's the same vibe that has made me visit the place thrice in less than two months.

For the mains, head straight to the meal bowls, which are really good and are much much better than almost everything else on the menu.

I'm really confused between 3 and a 4, but going ahead with the 3 for now, considering that there's so much more that can be done to make this place into a favourite for the masses.
Karan Prince
Food was awesome, quality and quantity was more than enough. We enjoyed a lot there. Lovely place. Staff was so nice and humble. Worth it. Service is very good.
Bivash Talukdar
Good family restaurant with nice Oriental theme
But the menu is a bit different than other kylin. However, the menu is very comprehensive and staffs are very courteous.
All in all you can go with family and friends
Totally safe call
Zubin Kenneth Samuel
Beautiful restaurant with courteous staff who pay high attention to their service. As for the food, we tried the Oriental chicken fingers and the Sentosa bowl. The chicken fingers were lovely with the perfect amount of spice and fresh tender chicken. The noodle bowl had a unique flavor with a nice umami aftertaste and a crunchy texture of peanuts went well with the shredded chicken. Overall, a pretty good experience.
Shaiena Kataria
Kylin is always a good experience thanks to the amazing service and great quality of food!

Zomato gold users please note that 1+1 is not applicable not sushi platters .

I ordered prawn sushi : like always loved it.
Prawn dimsums were also good but had vegetables along too... which diluted the flavour of the prawns.

Pad Thai noodles were good! If I have to compare it with side wok’s pad Thai noodle it’s a challenge.
The way kylin presented it was amazing : the peanuts were not mixed, one can add it as per their taste.
Side wok just had peanuts mixed into it so it was kind of extra.

We also ordered red Thai curry . We had it before pad Thai noodles so we liked it: it’s a little bland however they give red chillies with it- so you can add it as per your taste.

Great job kylin , see you again soon for Sunday bruch at Vk ambience . Nothing beats that.
Prantik Mitra
The authenticity in flavour is missing. If considered an alternative to Mainland China then this place is no where close. The Chef has a messed fundamental when it comes to specialised dishes like sticky rice. Moreover, the spices and condiments used seem to be ready to use products and not freshly ground which narrows down the infusion of flavour. A 4.0/5.0 for ambience and hospitality, but food brings the rating greatly.
Amit Munjal
Great food and excellent service.
Gaurav was a very sweet and helpful fellow who helped make our experience enjoyable.
Keep up the good standards

Asian cusine has now become the next best thing when one is dining out. Kylin Experience is also one such establishment which is leaning towards the fine dine section. I am always inclined towards such places which offer scrumptious bowl meals. I was recommended their signature Chicken Hot Stone Bowl in Hot Basil Sauce with Yellow Noodles. I have been harping upon Chi's take on Korean Bibimbop ever since I have had it; but Kylin' s Stone Bowl changed my perception for times to come. The Vegan Dimssum Platter was served in a delectable way alongwith their take on garlic dip/ sauce/ oil. I came acros not being overly fond of their chilly garlic noodles after they had set the standard with the rest of the menu. I was disappointed that there was no thukpa on the menu; added here as a request to the restaurant.

Went here for my mom’s birthday. We were a gathering of 8 people. Got a little annoyed because the service was very slow and the server got appetisers one by one and not everything together. Vegetarian members had to wait till end for their food to come while others were already done with the food. Coming to the mains, i had the best egg fried rice ever. just loved it. No doubt the food was amazing but the service can be little better.

Went once again with a friend, ordered Two stone bowls and chicken dimsum. Chicken chili sauce with noodles and Chicken basis fried rice. i loved the food. They were generous enough to provide us with 2 complimentary amazing mocktails. this time was super happy with the service, so updating my review.

My recent lunch at Kylin in Gk -1 N Block was a series of hits with one miss.
I walked in at 3 pm on a weekday afternoon for a late lunch and was surprised to find the place 90% full. We had to wait a few minutes to get a table of our choice.
The ambience was pleasant and semifornal. A lot of people where digging into some awesome looking food.

We opted to begin with Kylin special dumplings and asparagus tempura sushu❤.

The dumpling.. as they arrived were mouthwatering. With 5 pieces in a dish my sis and me were fighting for the last piece and wishing we had ordered the 10 piece basket instead. Yes! It was that good.

Next came the sushi and way really one of the worst i had eaten . Probably machine rolled it the rice was packed too hard and just din't do much for my taste buds. Best avoided

The last dish was thier hot stone bowl. Steaming hot very colorful and with black bean sauce.. it had us scraping the bowl for more.

The verdict a good place to head for lunch or dinner with attentive service and yummy food. Just avoud the sushi!!

It’s got a nice vibe. Definitely a good place to dive into Asian food. Prices can be considered a little steep but that’s the case with pretty much everyplace in N Block market. I believe they are still new, but what I liked was that they politely asked if I’d like to write them a review (rather than force you to do it there and then like so many restaurants out there)

Their cocktail menu seemed nice too, though I didn’t try any.

So while the food is nice, don’t expect to take ur left overs home. We had a decent quantity left from the two dishes ordered, which we got packed Ofcourse.. but when we reached home.. we realised they had taken out half the food and given us 30% of it. Sad... :) next time order a separate dish for them, if u want ur leftovers in complete quantities.

Loved the ambience of this place. The staff was very courteous and friendly. While the food took a little while, we didn't mind that since we were busy chattering away.
Coming to the food, we tried the Veg Philadelphia Sushi Rolls, which were simply yum. The Classic Mix-veg & silken tofu Dumplings was the best I've had in a long long time. Cooked to perfection with an amzing taste that did not even require a sauce with it! For the mains we tried stir-fried greens with roasted garlic, veggies with schezwan suace, chilly garlic noodles and basic fried rice. Loved all the dishes and would definitely be recommending this place for the vegetarians looking for good asian options!

Travels to Delhi are very often thanks to work, and i love to experiment when it comes to new places to eat. This time around I was staying in CR Park, so hopped onto GK for some soul satisfying food joints. Came across Kylin, the only reason i thought i should try this place was for the cuisine they serve. Asian and Vietnamese cuisine is a weakness and I believe very few places get it right. Yes, i was taking a risk, a risk which eventually turned out to be a good one.

So here we were on a weekday in the noon, waiting to dig into good food. This place is a nice and modest little place, nothing really fancy, yet a very warm vibe with a pleasant ambiance.
Since I love dumplings, it's usually a must order for me. Called for the Prawns Suimai and the Spicy Chicken in Sichuan Chilli Oil. A total sell out I would say, so flavorful.

We moved to the mains, our choice was the "Roppongi Bowl" if you are a Ramen fan then you should totally go for it. Also, the serving is very generous. So finishing of that bowl is a challenge!
Another favorite for me is usually the "Nasi Goreng", again these guys managed to nail it. They really serve good Nasi Goreng!

The third bowl we opted for was the "Krabi Bowl", basically minced chicken and fried egg served with sticky Jasmine rice. This one was a little above average, but nonetheless decent. I was very keen to try the desserts, but gave up on the idea, thanks to their massive and generous serving size!!!

I would recommend this one if you love Asian cuisine which is modestly priced.

Service: 4/5
Food: 4/5
Ambiance: 3.5/5
Overall Rating: 4/5

Kylin has always been one of my favourite place for having oriental cuisine. Since the kylin near me has now been taken off zomato gold one plus one on food , had to travel all the way to GK for visiting my favourite restaurant. Ordered asparagus tempura (veg. Sushi ) and Nasi Goreng.
The sushi had a very nice texture with a balanced taste and the seasoning on the crispy asparagus really added to the taste. The nasi goreng which was ordered without the chicken satay (had a strong smell of prawns which I like) , was served with a sunny side up egg, peanut sauce and another sauce whose taste I cannot recall. Overall the food was very nice and the place was also quite open and welcoming.

Mixed Asian cuisine with good sushi and Bibibop bowl. Kylin Experience has an upscale ambience with a Japanese theme, it's a great restaurant for a hearty family dinner with something for everyone on the menu.

The place had a nice Asian vibe and the staff was courteous and polite.
For starters, ordered an Oriental Chicken Finger in chilli hoisin & five spices alone with a dimsum platter. Both the starters were really nice.
For main course had the classic Thai Green Curry. Since they did not have jasmine rice, had to order sticky rice. The main course very flavourful and authentic.
Ordered Chocolate Mahajong for dessert. The chocolate brownie/fudge was not to soft.
Great food and extremely courteous staff. Especially Mr. Gaurav. Love the ambience of this restaurant.
Pad thai noodles (chicken) is a must try.

Decided to go here for Saturday lunch. Drive all the way to GK for the rating it has got on zomato. The entrance is not wheel chair friendly. However, it was pretty pleasant and airy inside. The staff was really courteous and they knew their job pretty well. That was a surprise rather. They assisted me in selecting the food and I liked it. Now comes the food. Ordered things the following things:

Balinese Mocktail - pineapple & litchi combo with lime didn’t workout really well for me. It was less sweet and flavour of litchi was barely there. However, the waiter replace the drink.
Something Citrus aromatic mocktail - was really great. The taste and aroma blew my mind away. Flavours of kafir lime was amazing.
5 Spice veg Momo - It was not at all the best momo that I have had. They taste was okayish and I would not prefer paying 5 tines for this product.
Veg Fried Rice - Was really mild. It contained small cut vegetables in it. I would have preferred a bit of salt and a pinch of more flavours.
Chicken Hot stone bowl with sticky rice and chilli garlic sauce was suggested by the waiter. It was good. I would say if you are alone then such bowl meal is just appropriate for 1 person. The taste was different and worth a try.

However, I feel there is still a lot of scope of improvement. Things like complimentary jasmine tea would be appreciated in a Pan Asian restaurant. If momos are served with clear soups then it will be appreciated by the customers.

Management - You are doing good but you should be doing great.
Signing out.

#fortheloveoffood

Food And Drinks
The food today was excellent. Tried the pan fried noodles, dimsums and pork ribs. The service by Kailashji was really warm and efficient :)
Definitely a must visit restaurant!
Chetan Chalotra
They have really nice soups, especially Tom Kha and Hot & Sour Soup. Food was amazing too. The service can be improved. The place was quite empty and barely 2-3 tables were occupied, but still the service was really slow. Their staff looked totally desynced and waiters were changing after every order not even remembering our previous orders.

The restaurant serves good service in terms of taste as well as quantity. The waiters are courteous and were of great help as we couldn't decide what to order! The service though is a bit slow. The tempura prawns didn't live upto our expectations and was a little bland. The bowls are amazing! Recommended.
The kung pao chicken and chilli garlic noodles were good too!

The worst experience I guess. If you guys are out of basic ingredients on a Saturday night then please do not entertain guests over the phone by saying "I'll keep the kitchen open late for you."
I asked for Krabi bowl and I was told it is not available as they are running out of Sticky rice. Then I asked for Garlic fried rice and was told the same. Finally I was served something called chicken fried rice which to me was nothing but boiled rice tossed with chicken and egg.
Then comes the pad thai. Oh my God, never had I had such weird pad thai noodles. Apparently they do not use fish sauce in pad Thai noodles. That was the weirdest and funniest statement I've ever heard. Prawns were almost minced into keema and thrown into the dish somehow. I would say a pack of Top Ramen curry noodles worth 10 bucks or so tastes the exact same.
The chicken in Mala sauce was an utter disaster. The chilli was burnt to the end where the entire dish tasted bitter in the mouth.
Oh and the mojito....I thought mojito's are sweet. But the one I was served today was bitter, had so much ice in it that the waiter got some more in the same jug to compensate and was literally scooping mint leaves out of the jug with a spoon! Felt more like a bitter ice cream than a drink!
And to all this when the manager was summoned he said this is not an authentic restaurant. Later he confirmed that they are not out of sticky rice and soon he sent out a Krabi bowl. In all my life I have never tasted such a weird dish. Lumps of left over rice, tossed in a pan full of keema and oyster-soya sauce and sent out of the kitchen in seconds with a handful of basil tossed here and there!
For a restaurant that charges so much I expect much better quality and attitude. Please look into the matter and come up with better excuses to serve such horrible food. Please be a little more professional.

The Kylin experience serves good rice bowls. The Thai tuk tuk bowl is my favorite - has distinct flavours. The chicken bibimbap and the hot stone bowl are fine too. The place is a semi-casual dine in. One thing I'd like to bring to people's notice is that their menu wrongly says that the 10% service charge is compulsory and hence I did not refute it when I went there. On further inquiry I got to know from their manager himself that the service charge is not compulsory and on notifying the restaurant team in advance the charge will not be levied. I was twice fooled by this. The taxation was becoming too high due to gst+vat(on beverages)+service charge. Please take note!

Kung Pao Chicken and Chilli Garlic Noodles is a must try at this place!
Apart from that we ordered prawn siumai (dimsum) which was slightly bland. We also ordered fish teppanyaki main course which was served along with rice. Again, the dish was slightly towards a bland side in flavours.

Don't order the desserts, though tasty they aren't really worth the price.

Service can be better. It seemed like they were short of staff.

Decent place. Worth a visit.

Actually 3.5.

I visited the Kylin Experience for Small Plates Week, where one is served tasting portions of various dishes as part of a set menu for the reasonable sum of INR 1200. One 'Thirsty' beer is included in this deal, but all other drinks and taxes are excluded.

THE SERVICE:

There was some confusion in my booking, I thought I'd booked for Saturday night but it turned out to be a Friday booking. Thankfully, the staff generously accommodated us when we turned up on Saturday. Our waiter in particular was very helpful and attentive through the night.

4.5/5 for service

THE FOOD:

Since one can order the entire set menu, we tried almost everything and there was plenty of food left over. Definitely go on an empty stomach as their regular servings also seem quite large.

Soup, Salad & Appetizers:

The Tom Yum Soup non-veg had a deliciously authentic spicy-sour Oriental flavor. The Raw Papaya Salad was forgettable, a sad version of what it’s meant to be. The Glazed Vegetables in a Lettuce Wrap, Kaffir Lime vegetable Spring Roll, Veg Bao, Crystal Veg Curry Dim Sum, Teppenyaki Grilled Fish in Thai Herbs, Grilled Hot Basil Chicken, and Crystal Chicken Curry Dim Sum; were nice but I've had better exponents of each in other Delhi restaurants.

Main Course:

The Veg Tuk Tuk Bowl (Aromatic Thai Curry served with Basil Rice and Mixed Vegetables) was the only tasty main dish. The flavorful yellow curry was perfectly complimented by the soft white rice.

The Chicken Bibibob Bowl (Korean style rice bowl with Julienne vegetables and Chicken in Korean sauce) failed at capturing an authentic Korean taste.

The Sentosa Bowl of Dan Dan Noodles (Hot “n” spicy noodles with minced chicken, Bok Choy, Sichuan Pepper & Chilli Flakes) was an unfortunate medley of cold and dry noodles in a tasteless sauce.

Desserts & Drinks:

Though the Fried Ice Cream and Spring Roll are marked separately on the menu, they are one item in reality (at least that’s what we received upon ordering the fried ice cream). We were separately served vanilla ice cream with two chocolate biscuit sticks. The dessert was tasty but nothing phenomenal.

It was my first time trying the “Thirsty” beer which was quite nice, as was the MS Sangiovese Rose wine from Fratelli. Unfortunately my friend’s Bloody Mary didn’t live up to the mark and was returned.

Overall the food was average considering the high quality of Oriental food now available in Delhi. I’d give the food 2.5/5.

Went to this place on one of the weekdays and left it quite satisfied. We had ordered the kylin tom yum soup which was different from the regular tom yum soups I have had in the city. I was quite happy with the taste as well the quantity of it (considering I ordered one 1/2). We followed it with Kai bowl and it proved to be another mouth watering dish. The quantity they serve per plate is sure to leave your tummy filled and the staff is also very courteous with their customers.

I visited this place with family to try out some new cuisines and let me tell you we were not disappointed. We ordered veg red thai curry, dimsum platter along with egg noodles and rice. (Should have ordered only rice as it paired way better with the curry). It was absolutely heavenly.

One of the best Asian restaurant I have been to. I absolutely loved it. The service and ambience, everything was top-notch.
So, I had the kaffor lime and passion fruit margerita,- this is a must have.
For starters, we had the honey chilli pork ribs. Absolutely loved the way it was prepared, soft and full of taste. Then ordered a Gangnam bowl. The taste was a lil off for me but still one of the tastiest bowls and way too much for one person. The nasi goreng is once again a lot and can be shared among two easily. But it is not for those who do not prefer a strong seafood smell.
At the end we ordered a huge basket of dimsums. Yummy. Couldn't believe how good some of them were. I don't know which ones I ate so I'm sorry but I can't suggest a particular one that you must try.
So overall, really happy with this place and the food!
We really enjoyed the dim sum, bao and the chicken. The drinks were alright although the kimchi in the red star tasted off. The sentosa bowl was a bit like spaghetti bolognese and lacked some flavour.

Sushi was covered in mayo and was slimy and a bit old. Picked vinegar and wasabi of a very low quality.

Half of what we wanted wasn't available, waiter was bumbling. Even the bill took 5 staff and way too long to figure out.

Fried ice cream is a wonton wrapper stuffed with vanilla ice cream. Very misleading.

Don't come here.
