Ordered dal makhani & Chicken Curry from this restaurant & all i can say is this place serves the best Dal Makhhni & Chicken Curry in town. The blend of spices was perfect & both the dishes were just A+ , you can go for it
Food is fantastic, Have been visiting this restaurant since last year, have tried most of their dishes & can come to a conclusion now that the taste & quality of food is notch higher than rest.
It's th perfect place to order your meals from. Not just pocket friendly but also up to your taste buds. You will for sure get that ghar wala swad.
Rajma masala and paneer bhujia are the starer dish.. Must try it once. I wish them best of luck.. But service is very mild.. Otherwise everything is funtastic food nd lacha partha.. I loved it..
It is a small dhaba situated in BK Dutt Colony and gives competition to Veer Ji Dhaba in Vegetarian items.
The dhaba offers seating to very few customers and mainly focuses on home deliveries and take aways.
Must have's from Vijay Dhaba is one and only, Dal Makhni with Lacha Parantha or Tandoori Roti, whichever bread suits your taste buds. The Dal Makhni is a rich delicacy offered at Vijay Dhaba. Being a meat eater and having only non vegetarian items in the diet I have not tried other items offered by Vijay Dhaba.
But I would definitely keep this in my calling list for dal makhni-rush.
I'll admit we were a little worried eating at this place when we first saw it, but the chef was a real pro and cooked us a beautiful fresh meal in front of our eyes! It was of course all a little spicy but delicious. PS. There was no menu, we just asked him to cook what he wants...
The atmosphere is perfect if you're looking to eat in an open restaurant on the street, at the entrance to someone's home :))
amazing, local, simple food. they were experts!
they only made a few dishes and it was done amazingly. the cook was so nice, him and his mum made exactly what we needed. i don’t really like spicy food and he made it according to my preferences and it was perfect!

Me and mother visited this place at 10 PM, when my mother was craving for a good ghar ka khana. Based on the reviews and pictures, I was eager to try there food. And it was THE BEST!!

We happened to stumble upon this place by chance, looking for an inexpensive place to eat, and inexpensive it certainly is.
Food is generic and has a homely quality, despite the characteristic overload of butter in Delhiite cuisine. The service wasn't particularly outstanding, but it wasn't anywhere near bad either. And they accept payment via UPI. Not worth going out of your way, but definitely an option to consider for a nice, cheap meal if in the area. 7/10
