Hira Lal chat corner is a very old and popular chat shop in Chawri Bazaar, it's located on a walking distance from Chawri Bazaar metro station. They have very limited variety of chats like Most famous Kuliya ki chat, Aloo chat, Aloo Tikki and Pav bhaji. But their most amazing thing is legendary Kuliya ki Chat, it's a fruit chat they cutout the inner part of various fruits like Pineapple, apple, Water melon and many more and fill the empty portion from their special Masala, chickpeas and pomegranate seeds. I'm not saying it's a die for but you can try it for something new atleast once. Their Aloo Chat is equally good and flavours are simply superb. This is a very small shop and you have to ask nearby people if you are new to old Delhi Chawri Bazaar area. Pav bhaji is also good but not the best but their aloo chat was amazing and Kuliya chat is something really unique.

I recently had the opportunity to try the kuliya chaat from Hira Lal Chat Corner in Chawri Bazar, Old Delhi and I must say, it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were out of this world! I highly recommend giving it a try at least once. If you want to know more about my experience, check out our full review on Chatorapoint's YouTube channel.

Hiralal Chaat Corner is a hidden gem of Chawri Bazar which got so many Chaat options. Tried their Aloo Chaat and Tikki as well but above that I love their Kuliya ki Chaat or say Kulle ki Chaat. Fruits kulle filled which boiled chickpeas, spices and pomegranate seeds on top. It's just mouth watering and delicious. Bit expensive but truly a nice dish to try if you never tried it before. Highly recommended!

Recently Visited this place and try their very Famous Kuliye Ki Chaat that is different from regular fruit salad as fruits scooped from inside and then they pour some special masala on them , squeeze lemon for giving tangy flavour and then adds chick pea and pomegranate as filling inside it , this plate is of Rupees 100 and totally worth ur penny. Do try their shop in Chawri Bazaar literally a real gem of Old Delhi.

This is the best place to eat good and healthy Chat. They serve fruit chat in Delhi since 100 years and their famous is Kulle Chat in which they serve chat in various fruit cutouts with pomegranate and masalas topped on top with lemon juice and its taste hell. Trust me you should try it once. They have Aloo chat, burger, Tikki and pao bhaji also. Nearest to Chawari Bazzar metro station..

here at Hira Lal Chat Corner for the famous Kulle Chaat.<br/>This 100 years old small shop in Chawari Bazzar is known for their Kulle and Aloo ki Chaat. They have other options as well, like pav bhaji, potato chaat, burger etc. but as I planned already in my mind so I ordered Kulle Chaat.<br/>This is made of scooped out potatoes, cucumbers, watermelons and pineapples stuffed with chickpeas, pomegranate seed and sprinkled with chaat masala, lemon juice over the top.<br/>.<br/>The final outcome is tasty as hell.<br/>Trust me you can't miss this place. A must try for all fruit and chaat lovers.<br/>.<br/>Chawari Bazzar Gaye aur Hira Lal ki Kulle wali chaat nahi Khayi, toh kuch nahi khaya. 🤩

Hira Lal Chat Corner is a famous street food shop in Chawri Bazar, Delhi near to famous Chandni Chowk. The shop is famous for its extraordinary invention of "kuliya ki chaat" which is basically a chaat of fruits and vegetable. They also serve pav bhaji, aloo chaat, aloo tikki, and burger. I personally tasted Kuliya Ki Chaat and Pav Bhaji and found both the delicious. Kuliya Ki Chaat is just awesome. Must visit the place. Rating 5 out of 5.

A small shop located in the chawri bazar and in the same lane as ashok chaat corner.<br/>They're famous for their kuliya chaat which is made of kuliya which is scooped vegetables or fruits.<br/>They serve chaat in cucumber, potato, tomato, watermelon, banana. It has chickpeas stuffed in the veggies and fruits and added to it is their chutney and their spice mix. It tastes like a bomb in mouth and flavors just burst in your mouth and the fruit or vegetable absorbs the flavors making it a great combination.<br/>Their burger was good with crispy desi aalo tikki which tasted good.<br/>Their aalo chaat was amazing too.<br/>A good place to grab a bite when low on budget.

Unique way of selling the fruit chat with different name , though it is already overhyped it was ok for me.<br/><br/>I would better have a fruit chat than this kuliya ki chat
Abhishek
Whenever I deboard at chawri bazaar Metro station my legs automatically takes me to this favorite of mine. Most people say that it is hyped which is indeed true for the fruit chaat but believe me this is one of the best place in this country to have some superb Aloo Chaat. Moreover the the Aloo tikki is also excellent and the pao bhaji is mediocre.
ABHISHEK TANWAR
ALOO CHAAT ........best i have ever had.this outlet serves the best of aloo chaat and alo tikki .the fruit chat is average. it is near to the chawri bazar metro station gate no. 3 .if you do not like spicy food ,ask them to keep it low. Quantity provided in such price is also good.
Baljeet Singh
Overall theek tha as in I will not come specially for this to chawri bazaar, that’s what my taste buds speak for this.<br/><br/>I think it is overpriced for 100 INR you get good fruits salad nearby.<br/><br/>Though it is named uniquely kuliya it taste like fruit chat only nothing too different about it.<br/><br/>

Hira chaat corner is located on the main street of chawri bazar, its a tiny shop but can be located easily. They have aloo chaat, fruit chaat, pav bhaji and other chat varieties. Being an avid foodie, I am always looking for legendary places to eat at out of which most of them turn of to be amazing but this isn’t one. Ignoring the hygiene factor, people who come to these kinds of places expect a standard of taste. First of all its a little pricey (Rs.100) considering a plate of fruits. A few of the fruits where not even fresh which was a total disappointment for me.
Maidan Singh
I saw a program on You tube about the Kuliya chat of Hira .Was very excited to visit it .I went there with my friends .we ordered one plate of Kuliya Chat .<br/>It was extremely disappointing ,The chat was pathetic full of masala and salt .<br/>neither was it fruit nor it was chat .Another example of an below ordinary outlet and dish being over hyped by bloggers

The best place to have yummy food. I tried Aloo Chaat and kulle ki chaat. Both were perfectly prepared. You can’t say no to the both. Must go and try this. They use everything fresh and also prepared hygenic.

Tried burger and mixed chaat while I was here in chawri bazaar for some shopping. Small shop and good taste. Loved the simple patty and chutneys.

Hira Laal Chaat Corner is a famous Chaat wala in Delhi that serves lip-smacking Fruit Chaat in Chandni Chowk. Kuliya or Kulle is fruit and vegetable cups that are scooped out of its flesh and then filled with flavoured stuffing. The fruits induces freshness, while tangy Chaat Masala gives it a marvelous flavor.
Jagdeep Singh
one of my friend told me about if you are around chawri bazar you must try hira chaat’s aloo chaat ,so i went there i ordered and after taking first bite it was so much salty .taste was like hell . i was very disappoint with the taste n hygiene . it is not like old delhi stuff , its just exaggerate. a big no no from my side .👎👎👎👎👎

Old chat shop food quality is excellent. Kulia chat delicious. Rate are cheap. But food quality is good. I am regular customer of this shop.

Old Delhi's nostalgic flavors, it's legendary eateries have been very well documented. But some good ones still stay hidden, probably for the best of their patrons 😅 Hira Lal is one of them. A miniscule corner shop at a ten minutes walk from the Jama Masjid, this place serves some absolutely delish chaat. Their specialty, and their biggest attraction, and their magnum opus, is the tangy, spicy, sweet Kulle Chaat. The owner improvised it out of a desire to experiment, hollowing out fruits & veggies and filling them up with chaat fillings. And we're left a whole lot richer for that stroke of genius. Do try if you happen to be in the vicinity.<br/>Could've been an easy 5, but I wish it wasn't so cramped for space. Probably that's part of the appeal in the old lanes of Old Delhi.

Old chaat chop in chawri bazaar. Famous for kule ki chaat. Nicely prepared with the refreshing stuffing of pomegranate and chole with loads of masala.<br/>Must try.
Rammi
Been there.<br/>It is literally situated at the corner in a 'gali' called Gali Lohe Wali (Chawri Bazaar). General chaat is available almost at every nook and corner in Delhi and northern India but there ''Kulliya ki chaat" is different from the lot at this place. It's hollowed salad veggies and fruits filled with chaat stuffing (mainly boiled white chana) spiced a bit excess with squeezed lemon but tastes amazingly nice to tongue. The first bite tells you that.<br/>A definite try!

100years old chaat shop in chawri Bazar...I ordered aloo chaat ...taste of chaat was super amazing ....aloo was so crispy and delicious chaat masala sprinkles of aloo chaat ...love it

Nice place in Chawri bazaar. It serves you healthy eating options. There kuliya ki chaat is amazing a must try. It a lot different thing with veggies inside a hollow salad. Loved this place

I won't start with how famous this chaat is. It is located near chawri bazaar metro station.<br/>This place has an amazing concept. They sell paav bhaaji, aloo chaat and kulle ki chaat(special one).<br/>We had aloo chaat. They were really crunchy and well spiced. I loved them.<br/>The kulle ki chaat was definitely worth every penny. He served us a plate with fruits scooped out and filled with chickpeas and masala. It tasted amazing. The juicy and sweet fruit with spicy masala.<br/>Am i coming here again?<br/>Yes, definitely.
Arpit Gunecha
Their Kuliya ki Chaat is a nice and different option to try. The concept itself is pretty unique and delicious. I love their Aloo chaat as well. Kuliya ki Chaat was a bit overpriced. I find this small place an amazing delight.

You might have had a fruit chat, but I bet you never had something as good as this.<br/>Fruits and veggies hollowed out and filled with beans and. Spices. They call it kulia!<br/>Do try this place, a bit expensive but lovable!

First time ever in chawri bazar!!<br/>Had this pao bhaji 👌<br/>Amazing taste (little bit tangy )👍🏻<br/>Served with green chatni and salad.<br/>All over great experience 😊<br/><br/>

This place is situated on the Chawri bazar road close to the Hauz Qazi Chowk. They are famous for the kulley ki chaat. This chaat is basically a combination of fruits and vegetables which are hollowed out and filled with tangy secret masala along with chickpeas and pomegranate. <br/>The masala is a real winner. It gives the chat a real kick. The chat contained a piece of watermelon, papaya, banana, pineapple, potato, cucumber, tomato and guava. The pomegranate adds a little crunch and goes perfectly with the chaat. My favourites were the watermelon, papaya and pineapple. These three fruits complimented all the spices very well. <br/>Regardless, the chaat is unique to this place and is a very different take on the usual chats.

Old Delhi which is known as cultural and traditional hub of Delhi never disappoints you if you're looking for something traditional food. <br/>Chaat which is one of the major part of Indian snacks from so many years, being it is golgappe, papdi, tikki, pav bhaji etc. they always satisfied your taste buds and gives you immense satisfaction in the near future as well. <br/>But here, I want to share my experience in a different form of chaat which probably you won't get anywhere apart from this 100 years old shop. <br/>"Hiralal chaat corner" which is running from past two-three generations serves kuliya ki chaat, pav bhaji, aloo chat, tikki etc. <br/>But here, I would like to mention something special about "Kuliya Ki Chaat". This can be made by creating cavities in the fruits and filled them with chickpeas, pomegranate, along with secret spices and lemon juice. The tangyness of spices is balanced with sweetness of fruits that creates a very unique taste of it. <br/>They use potato, tomato, cucumber, banana, pineapple and mango to make this chaat. <br/>This is their signature item so please go and have it. <br/><br/>P. S. :- This shop is located 300 metres ahead from Chawri Bazar metro station, gate no. - 3. No seating space is there, you have to stand there and enjoy your chaat. <br/>Price:- Rs. 100/- per plate

Famous for Kuliya ki Chaat, this place was on my list since long! Their sumptuous Kuliya ki Chaat is a mindblowing concept with masalas so spicy that fruits become a new treat. Scooped and filled with chickpeas and pomegranate seeds, the plate is as soothing to watch as the pieces in the mouth. Good treat for the price. Must Try!<br/><br/>Have a video of this place on my Youtube Channel: My Plate Review (Check it out)

Innovation is the buzzword nowadays, be it in manufacturing industry or in the food business. While the market is flush with concepts propagating molecular gastronomy or mixology, my heart still goes out for traditional players. One such institution is the Hira Chaat corner in Chawri bazaar and you can go back almost a 100 years to trace its footprints. The family business is run by its 3rd generation and you can experience the history in the flavours which are dished out in the chaat that they serve. Famous for the kulliya ki chaat, aloo chaat, tikki and pav bhaji - The kulliya chaat is the one that stands out !! Simple and healthy, basically its a fruit chaat. If you go for the mixed variety, they would give you a piece of mango, pineapple, tomato, potato, watermelon, banana and cucumber. They make a cavity in the pieces of fruit and top them with boiled chickpeas, pomegranate seeds, the secret masala and a generous squeeze of lemon. Heaven !! One bite and the flavours just explode in the mouth !! The sweet fruits on one side with the masala and lime on the other provide the adequate balance. Highly recommend it !! I am yet to try the aloo chat and pav bhaji but trust me, if kulliya ki chaat was anything to go by I should be at Hira chaat corner very very soon !!<br/><br/>Follow me on Instagram @SPICEITUPWITHSAM

Hira chaat corner is actually a hira of the chaats outlet..and deserves the 5 star rating as even after its tiny demographics..this place is one of the most favourite place of the people visiting chawri bazaar for chaat and more..they actually serves a lot of things including aloo chaat, aloo burger, pao bhaji..fruit chaats etc..mine favourite is the pao bhaaji and fruit chaat ..both have the immense flavours 💞
Debjyoti Mukherjee
I've been here a couple of times, their chaat is unique and different than all the places, I've had the pav bhaaji too <br/>Their food isn't heavy on the stomach, the quality isn't compromised for taste

we went to this little shop in chawri bazaar on our food trip just to savour the kulle that you get at so few places in delhi....kulle is basically tangy chane full of spices and lemon filled in a scooped out potato or tomato or cucumber and some other things as well...<br/><br/>the place looked hygenic enough...the chaat was great but a little too tangy for our liking...i love the potato version as according to me it balances out the otherwise super tangy filling....<br/><br/>worth a visit if u are in the area...they has sell staples like aloo chaat and pao bhaji etc;

Aap Dilli aayen aur Chaat na khayen yeh to impossible hai. There is no Chaat better than what is available in the walled city Delhi6, or chandani chowk as popularly called. Hira Chaat is among the pride of Delhi when it comes to chatora chatpata Chaat. <br/>Their Fruit kulliya is simply to die for and so is the Aalu Chaat and tikki.

Delicious Delhi
Have been hearing about this place for very long time, so one day we decided to try their kuliya chaat. We found this place near chawari bazaar (almost 1 km from hauz kazi, towards jama masjid). They made this chaat in front of us. It looked too delicious. The guy made scooped out pulp from banana, orange, cucumber, tomato and watermelon. Then he filled those holes with lemon juice, pomegranate and chickpeas. Then he sprinkled some masala over it. <br/>Our mouth was watering and we were pretty eager to eat them. The taste of chaat did not disappoint us as it was too good. We loved the watermelon one the most. It was quite filling. It is a must try place in chawari bazaar. Next time we will try their other chaatsas well.

Chandni Chowk is synonymous to *CHATS*. The choked roads will lead you to the oldest eatries - 'Hira Lal Chat Bhandar' when you get out of Chawri Bazaar Metro station. From crispy Tangy Aloo Chaat to Fruit Kulia chaat and Pav Bhaji there are lot of options to satiate your taste buds.<br/><br/>No compromise on flavours & presentation and lipsmacking taste. Would definitely like to recommend this to anyone who's has inclination to taste various street foods. <br/><br/>Do pay a visit when you are in the vicinity as this is totally worth it!
Ratandeep
This is a average place to visit.burger was below average and was fried like Gupta burger<br/>The ambience of the shop was also nt so good and is located in middle of the market

THE exceptionally over-hyped chaat is nothing but an experimental dish gone bad for your mouth and a extravaganza for the eyes. Don't let them fool you with the internet hypes, it's nothing but a tripe .

"Panna Ki Tamanna Hai Ki Hira Mujhe mil jaye"<br/>Aise hi Meri Tamanna Thi Ki iss chaat corner Ki chaat mujhe mil jaye. <br/>The food was awesome service was good but it was Pure Nostalgia that made me really happy.<br/>The Name Hira rings quite a few bells and has come to be equivalent to greatness. Be it Dr. Hira or Hira sweets or Hira chaat corner ..Hira's are taking over Delhi after having conquered Punjab. <br/>Anyways this Hira shop is worth the time and Money.. Hence is a Hira to invest in. <br/>

I was introduced to Hira Chat after watching Mark Wien's video on Delhi Street Food . Given the reaction which he had expressed after having the famous 'Kulle Chat' , I came with high expectations. Given the general chaos of the Chaawri Bazar market, it was surprisingly easy to locate. The Kulle chat, as many would know, consists of hollowed fruits and vegetables filled with masala and chat. We straight up ordered the chat, forgetting to ask for the price first. Having had this chat, I can safely declare it as overhyped. The masala overpowers everything else that comes with it. The vegetable/fruit taste is barely detectable and the same goes for the sweet potatoes and pomegranate.  Given the reputation of this establishment,I was expecting much out of it and was quickly let down by its one-sided (in terms of flavour) chat and exorbitant pricing. It has an atrocious value for money , and your money would be better at any other regular chat corner.<br/>Food:2/5Value for Money:1/5

A small chat/khomcha shop but a true delite for success lovers.<br/><br/>Yes, they make awesome Fruit's KulIiya (speciality) and Aloo chat (these are not boiled aloo, these are roasted aloo in sand - bhuna aloo and they fry it upto the mark to achieve the golden brown color mix with 4-5 secret spices topped with lemon juice).<br/><br/>Pav bhaji is just ok types, nothing special.<br/>

Hira Chaat Corner is one of the old chaat shops in chawri bazaar, Its near Chawri Metro station, just get down at gate number 3 and go straight after getting down from metro station.<br/><br/>I tried Kulle ki chat which was amazing, it was so tempting that i forgot to take its picture :P, i took 4 pieces chat, which was containing 1 potato slice, 1 cucumber, 1 mango and 1 watermelon and it was sooooo yummy and refreshing, and you can try it at home as well, its really easy, but try here once :)<br/><br/>And I tried 1 Aloo chaat, which was not so tasty. Other than this they offer tikki, burger, fruit chaat etc.
