Must be a hidden gem as Zomato ratings doesn’t offer justice to this place. The food had all the makings of a Old Delhi joint as if they were cooking the same in the byelanes of Jama Masjid and then brought to this restaurant. The Raan was rustic meaty with authentic flavors and the Mutton Nihari was one of the best I have savoured in India. If given a choice I would visit the restaurant just for the Khamiri and Nihari. The seekh Kebab was licious but could have had more fat to it. The phirni in the end was nice to satiate my yearning for a sweet nutty closure to me meal.
Had a dinner here with friends, and fully enjoyed the ambience and food. DefCol places in general can get packed and noisy, but this relatively small place allows you to at least have a civilized discussion with more than one person at your table!
The staff is friendly and attentive. I just had to look up and somebody was already at our table.
The food was delicious. I particularly liked the “dry” foods: chicken tikka, paneer tikka (really nice and soft!), mutton and seekh kebab (taking me back to Karim’s, the Jama Masjid one that is!), and - very innovative for me - a dahi / yoghurt kebab. The latter sounded a bit odd, but it had a nice mix of paneer and kebab flavors. My friends had the biryani and butter chicken; I stole a couple of bites and enjoyed those as well.
Had a mixed sweet ‘n salt lime soda, which was properly mixed.
Though I normally visit at least one of the two Sagars when I am in DefCol, I will definitely add Mubarak Kitchen to the list - and it helps it is conveniently located between those Sagars :-)).
Well just wanna say food off the hook !! Must must try mutton raan, mutton biryani, mutton korma... infact I am very regular to this restaurant, reason am hardcore mutton eater and this place serves the best.
The food was delicious 😋 had a function in Mubarak kitchen non vegetarian and vegetarian food both was very good, The staff was very friendly will definitely go there again
Its a small cosy place serving very delicious food. I love the pulao dal makhni but what won my heart was the KHAMEERI roti must try!! kudos!
Well well well... I simply love to visit new places and this is one of them... a small but very pocket friendly and decent place with great ambience... it is a barbecue food outlet but it starters will come directly from kitchen... Fish tikka and Chicken Korma are the star dish and everything must try it
Mubarak Kitchen was amazing. We're definitely coming back. Chicken Tikka, paneer Tikka, Dal makhni, seasonal vegetables: amazing. Great prices.
We found this really small but cosy restaurant today. The ambience is very good. The service staff is really sweet. The overall food was good at this price. Dahi ke kabab were more of bread than dahi, but tasted good. However, malai kofta was very well prepared. Would recommend this one if someone wants to have light food on lazy afternoons, may be.
Pleasantly surprised by the food here. The mutton seekh was really good. Chicken tikka masala was different, but also good. Ambience and service was fine. Recommended.
Had lunch here on Sunday. I love their fish tikka soooooo much. I am pretty sure it was my best experience of fish dishes in India, even I been Goa and Mumbai tried their seafood many times.
Definitely I would love to visit Mubarak Kitchen again soon!!
I have been here three times and every time it gets better and better. The first time I ordered mutton shami kabab, followed by mutton korma with khamiri roti. For dessert I had firni. In my most recent visit I had chicken methi kabab, chicken korma, chicken biryani followed by firni for dessert. Again excellent! The food is clearly prepared with a lot of care, with high quality meat and fresh ingredients. One can taste the distinct spices! The flavours are delicate and not just loaded with a lot of masala. The service is excellent. If you are confused about what you would like to order, ask them for recommendations and I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.
Mubarak kitchen , a mecca for people who are true connoisseurs of authentic non vegetarian food.
Move over Kareem's ,Al Jawahar , Al Nawaz, Mubarak Kitchen is here with its out of the world menu. Their service is fast and friendly.
I strongly recommend them to tantalize your taste buds offering you best in class Mughlai Gourmet. I bet you'll not stop eating even when your mind says No
Must try Nahari, Mutton Qorma and Seekh Kebabs.
Thanks Moin bhai for introducing me to Mubarak kitchen.
After meeting with my client , I order lunch from this outlet .
I ordered Fish Tikka , Shahi Paneer and Butter Naan .
Packing was of ok type . FIsh tikka was good in taste but should me more spicy .
Shahi paneer was good and Butter naan was also good .
In order to satiate my wife’s craving for chicken at night we casually reached Def Col market.
After looking around in order to figure out where to eat, as we had planned on just having starters, we landed at Mubarak kitchen.
Initially I was apprehensive, to try the food here as the place was empty, and my food sense says, “ If the place is empty, either the food is not good or it would be stale” but, I was MISTAKEN.
We tried burra chicken and it was really delicious.
The chicken was really tender and was very well marinated.
Would definitely try the place for its main course after having read the reviews.
I guess the place was empty as it is a relatively new joint.
nice staff great food rolls we had were awsome authentic mughlai quisenes weldone to the owners as the really take care of their guest hoghly recommended
for families and friends. will surely visit to get the taste of more mouthwatering heavenly dishes. love danish
.
Went there for Lunch with friends after the Marathon!
Food was yummy and we really had a good time here!
Loved the Chicken Biryani and the Raita :)
We loved the food. The Kebabs were delicious. Nihari was very well balanced and the mutton was melting in the mouth. The bakharkhani , khamiri roti and butter chicken were a super hit. We’ll be eating here again very soon.
A good option to try , averagely priced and an not so bad ambiance. Starters - Fish , chicken tikka and seekh kebabs were li’ll dry ... specially the kebabs, try a different option if available.
Coming to main course - it kinds of covers up for everything. Butter chicken was really good .. creamy but tasty. Khamiri roti was a good combination with butter chicken and chicken biryani was also good. Could actually feel all the flavours in the biryani .
The place wasnt that occupied which was good and bad . Good because of the service, bad because too many waiters and owners tracking ur meal ;). All in all - a place worth exploring!!
Awesome food, beautiful ambience.
Simply love it.
Must for mughali food lovers.
Pocket friendly. Must have Butter Chicken, Mutton kababs & Fish Tikka
The veg was better than Non veg here. But otherwise the here is amazing and worth ur money. The interior is nice but the only problem is that there is no division given between the sitting area and the area where the waiter take the food from kitchen. The service is slow but worth waiting for
Great food! You get real taste of mughlai cuisine. A must visit place.
One of the best Nihari I’ve tasted - and I’ve tasted quite a few. Well done Mubarak Kitchen!
