Annapurna bhandar is located opposite Gurdwara, Chandani Chowk. This place is very small, so you have to observe carefully in that crowd. We had rasgulla and misti doi. Rasgulla was really average but misti doi was perfect. If you want to try Bengali delicacies in Chandani chowk area than you should visit this place.
Annapurna bhandar is located opposite gurudwara. You can visit this for authentic bengali sweets. You should try their samosa followed by red rasgulla. Though you will not find this restaurant in food blogger’s website. But it is definitely worth a visit. You can thank me later :)
I 1st visited here in December 2018 with a friend who is a Bengali and it is wonderful I had jolbara sondesh, Bengali samosa, Honey dew, Anand bhog etc.. trust me.. I was amazed
Every time I am at Chandni chowk, I can't stop myself from getting tempted to visit this outlet once for tickling my taste buds...the sweets are so good that they just melt in the mouth...
I was in chandichowk and felling hungry so find this outlet near by only.
They have huge variety of sweet dish. I had mohan bhog and samosa which was good in taste. Place can be more neat and clean.

Waaoh! This is amazing place to drool over the traditional foods and sweets of Old Delhi.
The ambiance is pretty good because it helps you to experience the Old Delhi vibes.
So, when I was in Chandni Chowk few days back, I went to the restaurant and my experience was quite amazing.
The cleanliness is letdown for the restaurant and I think they should work over it.
So, overall it is amazing place , there by I am giving it 4 rating.
Located on chandni chownk at the corner, just opposite Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib parking entrance gate. If you looking for authentic Bengali sweets, this is the shop every sweets lover must try
My favorite sweet here is DIL BAHAR : it is so tasty that you would surely get a full box of dil bahar packed for your home!
Most authentic, yummy, mouth watering, Bengali sweet shop in Delhi. All delicacies are made from cow's milk that makes them all the more delectable.
I have been a customer over 25 years now, and the consistency in the quality is what strikes me the most, you blind fold my eyes and keep any number of sweets in front of me and I can tell you immediately which once belong to them.
The light aroma of the begali sweet that stays on your palate for the right amount of time, that delicate balance of fat and sugar is what makes them so dear. The lightness and the flavor in perfect balance ...I bet they can complete with the best of delicacies from anywhere in France and Europe.
And the most touching part is the humbling conversation with the person behind the counter who has been here at the shop since 1979... you go anytime in the morning around eight and it is the same person that greets you every time....
Its right on the fountain crossing in chandni chowk. A must go for all bengali sweet lovers and a must go for anyone who loves a samosa.
The bengali snweets here are in some cases even better than the ones u get in c r park which is a proper bengali colony.
Just go there and try out the jaggery prepared items in the winters specially kara pak.
But the samosa is a must
The owner is anice and generous man
The place serves the best if samosas with a different taste of turmeric chutney which makes it different from everyone else
Moving on to deserts malai chaap(chamcham) the best that anyone can get is its speciality but its only available in morning because the stock diesnt last till evening
Pink rasgulla and shank sandesh are a must try
I am very fond of Bengali mithai, and Annapurna at Chandni chowk fulfills all your cravings for the same. From Sandesh to mishti doi, from kachagolla to dil bahar everything is to die for. Coming to their samosas they are so different and so yum and the nimki which they serve is best when you taste it with a cup of tea.
This is a small shop in the busy Chandni Chowk market.
It can be located easily opposite sis ganj Gurdwara. If you are a sweet lover, this is the place to be. All the sweets here are tasty!
My favorite sweet here is DIL BAHAR : it is so tasty that you would surely get a full box of dil bahar packed for your home!
Rasmalai a real treat here, also samosa with delicious chutney, mishti dahi, rasgulla all are real good taste. Very old shop continuing its high quality.
best mishti doi ever!!
i had two types of cham chams and a mishti doi.. mishti doi was best!! cham chams were also yumm!!
i will definitely go again and try other sweets.. highly recommended..
musts: mishti doi
food/taste/quality: excellent
quantity: small quantities
service: quick
location: very good, opposite to dariba kalan, corner shop
cost: inexpensive
Located on chandni chownk at the corner, just opposite Gurudwara Sees Ganj Sahib's parking entrance gate. If you looking for authentic Bengali sweets, this is the shop every sweets lover must try. Thanks
Best place for authentic Bengali sweets...if you are in chandni chowk and want to give your taste buds some Bengali sweets , this is the place you should try , do try samosa also.
Dad has brought something in his bag today, guess what that is samosa from annapurna ... mostly all the sweets at my home comes from this outlet only and they are the best.
Today it was the samosa Rs18 per piece, the samosa was small but but really tasty , one thing which is May be unknown to people is that the alloo stuffed in that samosa is cut into equal shaped cubes and is not the mashed one. If you are taking the samosa to your home they will pack a dry chutney with that which you just have to dissolve in water before serving though you can have that in the way it is served as it is really very spicy.
Try it whenever you are in chandni chowk.
I have been eating there since I was a 7 or 8 old kid and now I am 23. So you can assume how long it's been I am going there.
I still go there.
Food.. 5/5
I ate everything they make, from every type of sweets, samosa's,bengali style mathi, etc.
With any fried dish, they serve a side "dry green saucy paste".. OMG ! I am in love with that thing. I play extra and get extra of it every time even if I don't order anything fried.
Ambiance.. n/a
There is nothing in a name of ambiance in here. It's a kinda take away outlet. Just pack your stuff and enjoy the best.
Service.. 5/5
Very prompt, choose pay and go. Though sometimes they may take time only because of the crowd as it is always jacked packed.
Pricing.. 4/5
The pricing is really good, to be personal I don't care what price they charge because they serve the best in town.
Value for money.. 5/5
YES..!! period**
Thank you

If you are a fan of Bengali sweets - this is one place u cannot miss!
My favourite item is the pink rasgullas
P.S.- the stuff sells out pretty fast so make sure you are not too late. Else u would be disappointed to see empty trays
Also, consume it within 24hrs; they don't last long.
This place is exactly opposite to sheeshganj gurudwara.
I have a question for you, Do you like sweets made to chenna? ( I dont know English word for chenna , anyone who knows please feel free to comment :p). What ever is your answer yes or no , you should visit this place.
If yes, you will fall in love with place.
If no, you are very close to have some new favorites in sweet dishes list.
They have fresh sweet everytime. Visiting their from more than a decade and never got disappointed.
Must try.
Best Bengali Sweet Shop in Delhi. Period. You get the freshest, the most authentic and scrumptious Bengali sweets like Rasmadhuri, Sandesh and others! It's a really small, old shop, tucked just outside the Chandni Chowk metro station, before the gigantic Haldiram's. It's yellow and Pink logo makes it distinctly visible from a distance :)
Tried the misthi dahi in Annapurna bhandar.. It's a Kolkata delicacy that u can find in chandni chowk!..at RS 22 u can eat a bowl, and it's so gud, it will not take you more than 10 seconds to finish!
This place has some childhood memories as it was introduced to me by my father. He used to seldom take me to have annapurna's immensely popular mishti doi, ras malai, sondesh and the pink rasgullahs.
For the past many years, this place has been my absolute favourite and there is no close competition to it. All the other sweet places which have commercialised have no better bengali sweets than annapurna.
the mishti doi is such a delight to have. So sweet, so rich and so heavy served in lakdi ke kulhad. The traditional taste is what what it gives. The rasmalai is not the same as sold elsewhere, yellow in colour. Here it is an off white colour and full of malai and heaviness that you expect from the milk it is served in. The sondesh sold here is one of the best sweets i have ever eaten. It drips the sugary solution but it is worth having whenever you visit chandni chowk market.
A meal for two would cost about rs100.

Hello friends when we talk about Chandni chowk foodies favourite place. Spice's & sweets. Her we talking about sweets awesome traditional Bengali sweets. I tried all item in Menu everything is testing...
Best Samosas...!!!
I am enjoying the taste of Annapurna Bhandar from my childhood.
Their samosas are just awesome, the stuffing of small diced potato is just out of the world.
Bengali sweets such as honey dew,Kacha golla are also very good.
Must try.
This place is very close to my heart. I can't explain how much I like samosas at this place. And more than samosa I like the green chatni which they serve. It's been more than 20 years and still I can't find samosas better than this place.
Think authentic Bengali sweet think annapurna Bhandar. the sweets are too sweet not recommended for diabetic patients. but fr others u'll have the best time of ur life. they also have a branch in mayur vihar which is equally good. Cheers!!!
The only place which takes you to a flashback of how real Chandni Chowk was. The taste itself is enough for the nostalgic touch. Honeydew and Samosas are a must try!
One of the genuine and traditional bengali sweet maker in delhi....they are basically from kolkata...even they are serving aloo samosa in their traditional unique style....mishti dahi and kacha gola sandesh are their most famous sweets....do try dilbahar and pink rosogulla.
Got a mixed bag containing all sorts of sweets (all that was left at 4pm) from the small branch at Mayur Vihar for 600/kg which I thought was pretty expensive. But well worth it after finishing the whole box in a few hours! Highly recommended.
Annapurna Bhandar is one of the oldest Bengali Sweet Shops in Delhi. They are selling authentic Bengali sweets to Delhites since 1920s.
It is a very normal practice in Delhi, what I have seen from my childhood, Bengalis purchase sweets from this outlet and consume it at home and specially non-Bengalis eat certain varieties over there instead of taking it home. It is not with everyone but a predominant practice.
I personally prefer some of their preparations which are extra delicious than other similar shops. Like Honey Dew, Notun Gurer Kancha Golla, Mishti Doi, Kheer Kodombo and Raso Kodombo.
The samosas taste very different if compared with North Indian samosas. I personally prefer North Indian samosas and Kachoris, so hardly buy them here.
One can try from different types of Sondesh, which are available over the counter. Dim Sondesh is another specialty of this outlet.
The charm of this place has reduced due to availability of Bengali Sweets in other localities and also new good shops like Kamala Sweets, Annapurna Yusuf Sarai, Rasoraj, and many. But still a visit to this place is worth if not for sweets but definitely for Mishti Doi. The taste has something unique.

I'm writing review for it and I can't wait to visit here again.....no Sweet lover can avoid this place..... I'm keen towards the Bengali sweets since childhood... And someday I went there with my parents to get sweets after our school results..... From that day this place is at the on my list for Bengali sweets....
Love their dilbagh, sondes, rajbhog, misty doi, malai chap, rasmadhuri n pink rasgulla....
Annapurna Bhandar is perhaps the oldest Bengali sweets shop in the city. In the 1920s, when the shop came into existence and was moved to Chandhi Chowk, the interiors resembled like that of a first-class railway compartment (then-owner was an ex-railway employee). When the structure started falling apart in the 80’s, the shop was renovated into its current form. Currently owned and managed by the Mukherjee brothers, the shop is still in the family but are worried about business succession as the next generation is not interested in continuing the family tradition.
I was told that Bengalis from all over Delhi NCR (read Faridabad/Ghaziabad) travel all the way to the shop to buy traditional delicacies for Bengali New Year. I asked for a serving of Mishti Doi and Rasgulla. Mishti Doi – too sour for my taste. Rasgulla – Marvelous! Soft, spongy and melt-in-mouth! The place is air-conditioned and have a table inside to eat while you stand – a blessing for a deadly combo of Chandni Chowk + summers.
MUST TRY: Rasgulla
Cost for one portion: Mishti Doi (INR 22) and Rasgulla (INR 18)
News: They have a branch in Mayur Vihar and swears that the others are mere namesakes!
Its a Bengali joint in chandni chowk and it is the best place in Delhi for original Bengali Sweets taste. Have tasted quite a few of their sweets starting from roshogulla white and red, sandesh to misthi dahi etc.
Rosogolla is the best selling item here.
Must try once.....................:)
A lot of people just know this place because of their sweets, though one thing that is a must try is their samosa, unarguably the best samosa i'v ever had.
The place is easily accesible being at the corner right opposite to gurudwara sees ganj, you can also locate it by its name written on the board in bengali and the year when it started. A good varity of bengali sweets are available and the taste it real good, though it would not entirely match the taste of kolkata but still, even this is really good.
I'm quite surprised by the poor ratings here because I quite like Annapurna. I visit their branch in Yusuf Sarai quite often as that one's close to my house, but this branch at Chandni Chowk is supposed to be the oldest branch. Now I am no expert on Bengali sweets and I have not tasted the original Kolkata versions of most of these sweets, but I find this place to have the best Bengali sweets in Delhi- and in particular, I love their mishti doi. It is served in mitti kulhads and has the right amount of sweetness and the perfect consistency, with a thick, creamy layer of malai on top. This place should be tried!
Very few places where we can buy authentic bengali sweets especially rasugullas and sandesh, though we may not find it on par than in WB, but still has a good taste to offer. Absolute oxygen for Bongs and Kolkataites,
It is easy to find. Just opposite to shish ganj gurdwara. A small and old shop that serves only bengali sweets and snacks. I think they are from 1929 at there. Offering varity of sweets.
Best sweet for me is the kheer kodom 10 on 10.
Mishthi dhoi is also very good.
But the kanchagoola is avg.
otherwise it is a nice place for bengali sweets. But it has no place to sit. Situated at very crowded place no place for parking it is better to go there by metro.
A place in chandni chowk which deserved to be in top 10 of chandni chowk.
Just go for it once u will definitely enjoy something new.
Its is simply a sweet shop but a good place.

It is situated next to Shri Balaji Chaat Bhandar on the opposite of the Sheesh Ganj Gurudwara. They have bounty number of sweets which are nice to taste. The shop is Bengalli origin, so all sweets belong to Bengal. I tried the Roshogulla, Mishti Dhoi, Lal (Red) Roshogulla, Bengal Sandesh. The Roshogulla was too sweet and not that fluffy and spongy. Lal Roshogulla was no such different in taste, features or texture yet this time a bit balanced sweetness, it instead just had a touch of gulab jal or rose water in it which gave the rosey aroma and taste. Mishti Dhoi was par excellence and a rejoicing desert which i have decided i will have whenever next i visit this place. Sandesh was a nice and well done no flaws in it at all, it was just right.
At a glance : service - self service, taste - 3.5/5, value for money - 3.5/5, ambience - 3.5/5
The place has been open since as far as I can remember. Opposite to Gurudwara Sheeshganj, Annapurna bhandar is a small bengali sweet treat haven.
A half bengali myself, being in old delhi and missing out on Annapurna seems criminal. My favorites are labongo lotika, rosho kodombo, kheer kodombo and the warm spongy raj bhog. One must not miss the variety of sondesh and the heavenly mishti doi sold in a mud 'haandi'. The classic small bengali 'shingara' ie. samosa is sheer bliss.
One might debate the relatively high prices of these seemingly simple looking sweets, but mind me, making such tasty goodies out of 'chaena' ie. home made paneer ain't anywhere close to easy. The place has stood the test of times for god knows how long and stands as a symbol of legacy for years to come. The next time you're in chandni chowk, do check this place out.
My favorite in the menu is labanga Latika which now they make on order. Samosa is just out of the world . Ras madhuri will just melt in your mouth leaving a very mild sweetness behind and a wish to have another..and another and another...
This is a really old place and a landmark in chandni chowk. I have had mostly one thing from their place and it was so good that it is with recommending. Their ras malai is better than any other I have ever had. If you compare it to say Haldiram, well you would know the difference just looking at them together.
One of the best bengali sweets in the city. Lal rossogolla, misti doi and labanga latika are my personal favorite. Also their samosa with sukha green chatni is highly recommended.
I've been visiting Annapurna Bhandar since my school days . I loved its' sweets then......I love its' sweets now! Unbelievably, the taste of the sweets haven't changed a bit. Arguably....Its the best bengali sweet shop in the city. Try chom-chom and kesar malai (highly recommended) and mishti doi. Go for it and give it a try and find yourself lost into the divine taste of its sweets.
Best in bengali sweets . Unbeatable . Must try dilbahar its the best.
One of the old shops in Chandni chowk serving Bengals sweets. I prefer their rasgulla and samosas. There are other sweets that people swear by. The shop is generally crowded with no seating option.
Good and authentic Bengali sweets in the heart of Chandni chowk. They don't accept cash, so do carry some beforehand.
Recommendation - Mishti Dahi, Sandesh
True and authentic Bengali sweets. Amazing taste. Initially I just ate few however I found it so delicious that I boxed a number of varieties to take back home.
It's a must visit shop at the corner, very easy to find.
Annapurna bhandar in chandni Chowk Delhi. This sweet shop has delicious samosa and Bengali sweets such as rasgulla, saundesh, cham cham,Mohan Bhog, anand Bhog, Raj Bhog, misthi doi. They also provide one of the best quality of Bengali sweets in the area and a part of many childhood memories. This shop near by Gurudwara shish ganj. Near Metro Station Chandni Chowk.

This is one of the oldest Bengali Sweet Shops in Delhi. More so since this is in Old Delhi and not New Delhi. (The other two with the same name are in New Delhi.)
The range of sweets is less, I think. But the quality is on the same level. I was surprised to find how good their samosas (which are called shingara in Bengali) are. You can clearly taste the ghee and the high quality of the filling.
The other miThais are mostly at the same level. The Kancha Golla was very good.
I was unlucky to miss their jaggery sweets, whose quality I would have liked to have checked. Even though this is 12 March 2022, they didn't have jaggery sweets even though they're available in other outlets in Delhi (and definitely in Chittaranjan Park and Green Park).
Recommended. (I hesitate to add "Highly", but under the circumstances I should. Especially since there's nothing equivalent close by.)
There sweets are best in chandni chowk. Love Bengali sweets here. Samosa is also good. Sweets especially honey dew, malai chap , sandesh are good.
I know this shop for some fifty plus years and consider it one of the best Bengali Sweet shops in the country .
Every thing you get here is freshly made and they still follow the tradition of finishing of all their inventory same day and carry nothing the next day .
All their sweets are made in Desi Ghee and they use less sugar compared to most other shops .
A confectionery store (more commonly referred to as a sweet shop in the United Kingdom, a candy shop or candy store in North America, or a lolly shop in Australia and New Zealand) are stores that sell confectionery and the intended market is usually children
Exact taste of Bengal . Bengalis may find prices little bit higher but it's quite worth. Try singhara( samosa) , something little different from regular one.
I had rasgulla here. Which were almost very Authentic as you get in Kolkata or West Bengal.
I bet the other sweets will be authentic Bengali sweets too, since it are run by people from Bengal.
If you are looking for bengoli sweets then you can try here.. you'll find some famous variety of bengoli sweets
The quality of the products is unbeatable. Awsome delicious, pure, authentic, don't have words to express more, just have it.
Arguably the best Bengali mithai in town... Have been having thier sweets since childhood...Every Diwali I reach there before 9am and get my order packed as Bengali sweets cannot be kept even in refrigerator for longer duration as it perishes fast.A must try once...
Bengali sweets trust me you can't miss this.. I love Bengali Sweets 🔥😍♥️
The best bengali sweets shop in entire Delhi. Excellent quality and service plus affordable prices with a blend of great taste. A must visit place.
Juicy Chamcham 😋😋 spongy Rasgulla, Sandesh and many more delicious sweets.
Unmatched Quality, irresistible Taste
A must visit for all Gourmet and sweet lovers.
