If one love desserts, this is surely a place to visit. I was totally in the love with chocolate eclairs, they have more flavours in it too so one can suit themselves. Apart from this, they have many other varients to choose from. From presentation to the taste everything was up to the mark. The owner is the chef himself, very sweet and helpful indeed!
I got acquainted to this bakery recently. They have just the perfect desserts to offer. The chef has made sure that their desserts stand a class apart. My favourite were the sun, the chocolate and the chocolate eclair!

So for all the dessert dears like me I have discovered an adorable little pastry joint in Gk-1 M block called the Dessertvala. It might be a little difficult to find the place but will make it simpler for you. It's simply behind Moti Mahal. Attempted these treats:
1.Chocolate Eclair: This oval baked good made with Choux mixture loaded up with cream and bested with chocolate icing was so alleviating to the eyes. It was a flavorful blend of firm patty and tasty cream.
2.The chocolate: Its 54% chocolate custard, marginally on a dark mode yet engaging and completely luscious. The crumble on the top gave a bewildering taste. Unquestionably attempt this.
The cake jars were delicious and the pastries were so soft and succulent. I was fascinated by the presentation and the aroma of the place. The cakes were good too and I would definitely recommend this place.
This was trio by desertvala it's affordable costing 200 bucks , it's made of three different layers of chocolate, mousse and crumble . It's really worth buying and tasting once you have it you would want to have it again 💚 I got to keep this cute jar with me as well, would like to order again from here since they have huge variety of flavors and taste ✔️

Actually 4.5 stars, one of the best places in New Delhi for high quality desserts. Have tried Macaba, blueberry cheese cake, and chocolate mouse with the 1st 2 being a solid 8-9/10 and mouse 7/10. Macaba and blueberry cheesecake are creamy in texture and an absolute bliss to eat. The owner is polite and well informed, has done his culinary studies from America. We were happy when the owner refused to serve an item on display because it was not fresh, just shows the passion. They can improve :- the seating arrangement inside the parlour, also make it easier for customers to order full cakes (the phone number on Google is usually unavailable). All said, would highly recommend for delicious desserts. Worth the money. A must try!
Came across via zomato, but it was so close that we ended up picking ourself. The best seller is definitely correctly set by zomato I.e. carrot cake. It was freshly made, moist and left a wow feeling after the first bite. Supportive, and cordial crew. Must try! We will for sure in future too with other options.
It’s my favourite bakery to pop by at whenever I’m in GK to satisfy a sweet craving! But it’s equally good to order from.. Especially their banana loaf is my favourite! The thing that really sets this place apart is the customisation the chef is able provide you with in each order. I am #lactoseintolerant and each time I have been presented with delicious options at short notices which I loved! Really a must visit in case you have a sweet craving and it’s a rather easy to find location too! :)

How was it?
The new york cheesecake was the classic and it's simplicity made it our dessert for the day! It was great baked and was absolutely melt in the mouth!
The Chocolate has to be any chocolate lover's fantasy! One could actually feel the quality of the chocolate being used in this which was unlike the milk chocolate we get commonly.
The Sun was an absolute delight to watch! It had a tangy flavour of lemon and a soft base of cake. A definite recommendation for anyone willing to experiment.
Trio was the most presentable of the lot. It was served in a jar and you could see 3 layers, i.e., dark chocolate panacotta, milk chocolate mousse and Vanilla mousse. It was so creamy and we loved every bite of it!
Dessertvala is one of the best Patisseries that I have been to in Delhi NCR. Its a very cute little store manned by the Pastry chef himself. Fresh products prepared on a daily basis with premium quality products in an authentic french style. Their "The Chocolate" is to die for. Can't imagine something more amazingly delicious. My experience with Dessertvala was brilliant! The desserts are lip smacking, easy on the stomach and simply unforgettable. I had the chocolate eclair and the banoffee tart and they were both really yummy. My friends also surprised me on my birthday with a salted caramel cake from Dessertvala and I have to say it was absolutely amazing. The desserts, in addition to tasting great also look very classy. Dessertvala is a cute little dessert outlet in Gk m block market. It serves variety of desserts and cakes.
Coming to the desserts, we tried chocolate pastry and hazelnut eclair.
Chocolate pastry had raspberry filling inside which was delicious. It was so heavenly and raspberry flavour was well suited with the chocolate pastry. Hazelnut eclair was delicious too, the filling of hazelnut cream with crunchy eclair and topped with chocolate sauce. It was so damn tasty.
This place deserves a definite visit next time you are craving for some desserts!

The Sun, with Lemon Mousse, Lemon Curd and a meringue toasted to perfection, in my honest opinion, is the BEST citric dessert the city has to offer. They also have multiple types of eclairs which are soft and completely melt as soon as you put them in your mouth.
Their delivery is on point as well. The only concern you may have is that of time given everything is made fresh everyday, so if they're out of your favourite items, give them some time to whip up a new batch!

Well last weekend after dinner I wanted to have something sweet and we stopped by Dessertvala.
A small cute bakery at the main market and the owners were warm welcoming and friendly.
I asked them what I can have the best, as I wanted to ditch chocolate , Dev (the Owner) suggested us to have Their best seller Carrot cake and Banoffee pie.
All their bakery item looked so good and tempting.
Finally we got our Dessert served and the very first bite of the carrot cake made me Drool.
It was just so fresh and the base of carrot pulp made it even better & heavenly.

I truly loved this bakery and the best part is that everything is freshly baked. You won’t find Display of the cakes at Dessertvala because they do not believe in wastage of food, so they make fresh cakes on order within 2-3 hours and the leftover bakery items or food they donate it to the NGO.. Was in GK M block market yesterday and came to my mind about this place i heard a while back Desertvala by owner and chef Dev Dhanda ! So went to try some stuff and i tried :
Red Velvet Cake and Chocolate Eclairs !
well i must say i am not a red velvet fan but this was amazing the sweetness level was perfect and the flavour of red velvet was not overpowering at all or the other hand chocolate eclairs was also a good choice just that i would have enjoyed a more dark chocolate filling inside but the texture and taste was amazing !

Their cheese cake dome shaped with soft and tasty cheesecake on top and a crumbly biscuit base below. The cheesecake was a little thin when I ate it with a different taste. It was actually very good andthe whole combo with the base was quite nice.
The second thing I had was their Raspberry eclair. The eclair as a whole was really delicious with custard filling inside and raspberrysauce on top. All the components only seemed to compliment each other so well.
As in zomato,this place was top rated in delivering desserts,I decide to order from them..

Like a bear in hibernation, there’s not much that can wake me from my Zomato induced slumber. Watching Zomato decline into this cesspool of mediocrity that it has become is quite an abject process. But I guess that Spider-Man quote is apropos for Le Zo; you either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain.
So, what shook me out of my slumber. Strangely, my sweet tooth. It really is the dark age when umame isn’t my flavour profile of choice, even for a night. But really, I had to write about Desertvala because it really is that elusive young unicorn; an undiscovered gem that’s absolutely underrated and utterly value for money. And yet, by putting this out into the cyberverse, I risk making it all I deride. That’s the risk you take sometimes.
I never liked places that serve every single cuisine under the sun. I’m more of a less is more kinda guy, except in the case of size zero gals. Which you definitely won’t be if you frequent this joint. Filled with sugar, some spice and everything nice, Desertvala pulls no punches with its minimal menu, but where it excels is on the two big T’s; taste and technique.
Take their eclairs. Or two of them. Because it’s what they specialise in. To call their choux pastry soft would be like saying Trump is perhaps orange hued. No, their choux pastry is like a lover, waiting for your touch and then collapsing in your arms, yours and only yours. Because you’re damn right I won’t share one of these eclairs with you.
The flavours here are beautifully muted and melt in your mouth, but if I did have to recommend only one thing for you to try here it would be...carrot cake. Yeah, what’s up with that doc? Seriously though, I don’t do carrot at all, and I ordered this total trepidation at the owner’s (repeated) behest. And boy, does it work. The walnuts do it for me, I think. Your mileage might vary, but that melange if smooth creamy sponge and walnuts really hit the spot. Like ‘hit me baby one more time’ hit the spot.
So, Mr. D really does know his way around a pastry or two, without making you a choux. Pop in here the next you’re in GK-1, and I can promise you you’ll be laying your hands on the best pastries in this part of town, hands down.

I visited this place on a friend’s recommendation who is a regular here. She told me so much about the place, I knew I had to try it. The shop is a cute little one tucked in the by lanes of GK Market.
We ordered Cheesecake, Red Velvet, Chocolate Eclair and ‘The Chocolate’, all the items were freshly prepared. Also, one must try their Eclairs as they’re the specials here, and are out of stock mostly, so get your hands on them while you can.
I really loved the Cheesecake, as it was exactly how a genuine cheesecake should be.
The red velvet can be improved a little, according to my palate.
The chocolate was a chocolate heaven for its lovers.
The pricing is slightly on the higher side, but that’s how it should be when you look at the quality they offer.
I had their cheesecake and abellana single piece cakes.
The cheesecake had a biscuit base as usual but the taste in this one was a little different. The base was a bit crumbly which made it taste even better. The cheesecake on top had a soft and creamy texture and was better than many others.
Abellana was shaped like in a dome with a white chocolate disc crowning the top. From the inside there was lots of hazelnut mousse and in the belly of the dome rested orange jam which gave it it's tanginess to the dish.
Both were really great in taste and i will most definitely order again.
Dessertvala from Greater Kailash 1 is the perfect place for all the dessert lovers. They have a unique collection of desserts. They serve the best eclairs and have a wide range of eclairs. They also serve mousse, pastries, cookies etc. A small heaven for the dessert lovers.

This small, sweet any tiny place probably serve one of the most offbeat and ravishing desert in the town. The yellow colour of the walls gives you a soothing and mellow look. Ambiance and decor is pretty simple but when it comes to desert they’ve lot to offer and probably one visit won’t do justice to you. I asked them their signature dishes & tried
#Abellana: As interesting as the name is, this was Chocolate Hazelnut Mousse. Unlike other place where it’s either too dark and bitter or sweet, they perfectly maintained the equilbrium. Hazelnut was icing to the mousse. I loved every bite of it and it is truly the star.
#Carrot Cake: Well, it takes lot of innovation and thought process to create such things. Who thought of having carrot as desert? But they made it so well. The texture was nice and smooth. It was topped with walnut and rolled pieces of carrots and I firmly believed that deserts aren’t unhealthy!
Do visit the place to have some piquant and toothsome deserts.

We had Abellana, Carrot Cake, Panna Cota and Chocolate Chip Cookie here. Abellana ( Chocolate - Hazlenut Mousse) was the best of all. Carrot Cake and Chocochip Cookie were also good in taste. Panna Cota was not good in taste. Overall, a nice outlet and worth trying at least once.

Very good, almost excellent fare. So far, I've had the chocolate eclair, the berry framboise, caramel eclair and carrot cake and they were all good. The chocolate eclair was particularly lovely. I hope they can consistently continue to deliver this quality of flavor- I'll certainly keep coming back for more, in that case.

The ambience is amazing, sweet soft and beautiful place.
Coming to food I had Chocolate eclair whose very first bite told me the reason it's their specialty. The way it is made has apt taste of every single thing it has, caremel, chocolate. It's perfect!
Next I had was a framboise.. it was also amazing. The combined taste of chocolate truffle with berry jam is so great.
I never had such amazing desserts, so if you are around count on me and visit it for once sure! Loved it..

The name is quite appealing and bulls on the eye. The owner is lovely to talk to. I asked him for the recommendation where he suggested me to have berries and cream eclair and framboise. The latter is a mixture of berry jam, chocolate truffle and whipped ganache. Well, i am not usually a dessert freak but upon looking at these, i couldn't resist myself. Both of it were too soft. The former was very delicate and left a very lovely after taste of berries. The latter was too soft, fluffy and the whole of it could be gulped in a single shot with no regrets.
I loved the packaging. They gave it a very royal look, as if somebody is carrying some luxury. Also, the outlet happens to be very appealing.

The child in me will always be a monkey around heavenly desserts though I do practise restrain and manners. But here is how I treat lesser cheap (in taste) desserts, I take a bite or two and discard them.
Big Chill is my standard dessert comparison bar and I always formulate 5 potential grades.
1. Exceptional and Better than Big Chill (hasn’t happened in this country)
2. Great and Equivalent to Big Chill
3. Good but slightly inferior to Big Chill
4. Alright and much inferior to Big Chill
5. Not worth taking the 2nd bite.
This scale is in descending order of quality and taste and there is no sixth measure yet.
Dessertvala comes between 2 and 3 on my scale and it’s closer to 2. The eclairs they do are fabulous. I used to have Eclairs as a child and that time I was dessert dolt who would eat anything with Sugar in it. I last had Eclairs like 5 years ago and it was poor chocolate whipped cream stuff, too sweet and cheap to be appreciated. “No Eclairs in life now”, I swore them off my list and I wouldn’t have sampled them now if the chef-cum-owner had not insisted. The alumni of one of the prestigious baking schools of New York, he whips some of the finest and greatest eclairs in town.
So the flavours were as many as 6 and I tired Rose and Salted Caramel. Rose is perfect, has this beautiful pink rose glaze, filled with Gulkand tasting cream inside the freshly baked patty that’s pleasing to eat. Salted Caramel wants a bit of salty taste in it to be called Salted Caramel indeed. It’s a bit of a feedback which can be worked on. Nonetheless they both are splendid, tasty and fresh, you will gobble them up in minutes.
Milk Chocolate and Banana Pastry is just perfect ❤️❤️ I suggest you all try it. I seldom get to try such perfect desserts from a bakery other than Big Chill. Prices were moderate, no one will be grieved to shell out Rs 170-200 for a dessert that lives up to the flavours and good taste. Dessertvala assures you with quality and class both. It was my dad's birthday and i planned to gift him a box full of sweetness. As my dad love exlairs i landed up at dessertvala to buy sone delicious eclairs. Here, the eclairs are not like those tasteless eclairs which are avaliable in other bakeries. The chef has its known recipie which can hive compition to any other known bakery in the world. The eclairs are made every day, filled with flavoured custurd cream and glazed with various flavours. I ended up buying 1 pc each of all the flavours.
Then, the pastries cought my attention. The pastris are not too sweet, they are made with fresh butter cream and freshly baked cake. I bought pastries as well.
Not only me but all the memebers of my family loved it.

A small dessert place in GK 1. I am not a big fan of them but I like chocolate and try them once in a while. It had been a long while since I had tried something so when a friend suggested me I decided to go for it. I placed a takeaway order. I chose a Caramel Eclair because Eclairs is the speciality of this place and another I choose was a Chocolate Tart. I like chocolate and the tart was very dense and completely of chocolate. After a while it gets too much chocolate. Two people can easily share because the flavour is so dense and rich. I would recommend this one to you all. The chocolate quality used is also very classic and not the regular type used in most mudane bakeries. I would definitely look forward to try more products from them. The eclair I tried was a Salted Caramel eclair. It was topped with caramel sauce and a had long chocolate strip on top. The inside was very soft and warm and had a liquid filling of caramel. It was mild tasting not very sweet or else it would have put me off. Based on my trying out of two products I can say that this bakery is one of those unique places that come about only once in a while. Their quality and freshness raises the bar of other places. If you are searching for something good, different and tasty but fresh products also than you must try nice place

A newly launched place in the market of GK 1 and its loaded with great goodies and treats. Dessertvala promises you a very fine dessert experience. You just need to try them and give them a chance and you can be a regular here they are so good. They have just started and I was a bit cynical at first because I don’t like trying new places, it makes me feel stupid and irritated after a disappointing experience. Also money wasted on bad tasting food. So I had lowered my expectations from Dessertvala and to my surprise, it proved to be a delightful cakery. They have small cute products and the main options to choose from are
1. Eclairs
2. Desserts
I went for a Chocolate Eclair and A carrot cake. My goodness I don’t know what they did with but both of them exceeded expectations. The carrot cake was made of something different base. It’s Amazing, AMAZING. A real good carrot cake should taste as good as it. It’s not like other carrot cakes, it had a different taste. I am Not a big lover of chocolate and I like less density flavours. But the chocolate eclair I tired was something different. The cream was fresh and it was decorated with chocolate and inside too there was a generous portion of chocolate. The crust of the eclair was soft and good and yummy. I don’t eat eclair from everywhere it’s too predictable but here the eclair is different and delicious. I really liked it. The prices are also reasonable compared to the market and their quality and taste. I will visit again and I think it’s a place which will be well loved by the people. It’s worth your money and it’s worth it.

Today I wasn’t keeping well and for a mood/taste change I thought of having something sweet when I found this newly opened pastry parlour. They have a limited variety of desserts but everything is worth trying. I ordered chocolate eclair and lemon dome. The lemon dome was something unique and visually appealing with infused tangy flavour syrup in the middle layer and white creamy top layer with exotic flavour. Chocolate eclair is a puff which is dipped in homemade chocolate syrup along with choco chips. It had perfect sweetness and was heavenly. They even take pre orders for cakes.
Easily locatable in the market, you can walk into this bakery for some sweet course after dinner. Try out this outlet if you have a thing for desserts.
I recently visited this place with my cousin and ordered chocolate eclair nd rose eclair and i was really mesmerized with the fine finished product they provided. Its amazing place to have good and fine desserts.

This new bakery located in GK looks to change the dessert game in the city by introducing some new flavors, and making some Anglo-Indian desserts. And their specialization lies in the delicious eclairs.
I tried the Salted Caramel Éclair that had light and airy caramel pastry cream filled generously in a perfectly aerated and baked choux pastry that just melted in the mouth. It was lightly glazed with salted caramel sauce and topped with tempered chocolate. They have a range of unique flavors in these eclairs such as pistachio, mango and cream, and rose.
The Carrot Cake had a ginger cookie, moist carrot cake with all natural flavors and no essence, layered with cream cheese frosting and topped with a walnut crumble. All the textures were balanced well and the layers of the cake and frosting were perfect in proportion.
The Hazelnut Dome was a beautifully constructed dessert with hazelnut mousse, chocolate chards and a tangy orange jelly in the center, glazed with chocolate.
But our favorite of the lot was the Lemon Dome that looked super pretty and tasted even better. The dome consisted of a biscuit base topped with tangy lemon curd, with a thick layer of lemon mousse, finally surrounded by soft peaks of toasted meringue.
Another favorite was the Cranberry Walnut Tart which has the perfect buttery tart shell filled with a mix of walnuts, cranberry, and sweet paste.
Overall, if you’re someone who loves desserts and enjoys trying new flavors, do check this place out.

Dessertvala is a welcome new addition, that dishes out some killer desserts, straight from the oven. The quality of ingredients is top notch and super fresh, which absolutely key in my opinion.

Carrot Cake - The Carrot Cake is indeed a sinful indulgence. The cake was soft and the cream cheese on top,simply makes it melt in your mouth.
Salted Caramel Eclair - Bitting into the rich creamy centre of my Salted Caramel Eclair, I knew I was in for a treat. I highly recommend trying these!

First time I went here, got a box of 6 packed, finished it by the time I got home. Carrot cake was amazing, so were the eclairs. I also loved their take on the lemon tart.
I had chocolate eclair and mango cheesecake at this bakery in GK 1 M block mkt. Gotta admit one of the best chocolate eclairs I’ve ever had. It has 2 layers of chocolate on the top and chocolate filling inside as well. You are overwhelmed with chocolate and the good part is that it’s not overly sweet. Same goes for the mango cheesecake. Subtle flavours so that you can enjoy them well rather than making the dessert extra sweet. Definitely worth visiting!

Finally found a place which has successfully imported international dessert flavours into the Capital, without compromising on authenticity and taste. Had ordered the Mango Cheesecake and Yoghurt Panna Cotta.
The Mango Cheesecake leaves one with a quintessential Philadelphian nostalgia. On the taste, consistency and overall-satisfaction contours, Dessertvala's Mango Cheesecake does not leave one craving for better, but only for more of it.
Although I hadn't thought that the Panna Cotta could compete against the unblemished Cheesecake, its unique flavour struck just the right nerves of my sweet tooth. It didn't disintegrate while we were eating it, and its exquisite taste ensured that it remains with me till I order it again tonight.
I'm certain that the place cannot possibly not cater to one's dessert cravings. If dessert is an Elvis song, Dessertvala's dessert are the ones which will make you dance.

Next comes the CRANBERRY RAISIN TART & PANNA COTA though m not a very being cranberry lover but it was a delicious change and PANNA COTA is an amazingly refreshing dessert with a tangy touch.All an all a perfect 10.Waiting for next cheat day to order again..😍✌🏻
