Review Lazeez Affaire Cp - New Delhi

We ate here on our arrival in Dehli. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and staff very attentive. The food was delicious and very rich. Thoroughly recommended. The rest of india has something to live up to !

The food is phenomenal. We absolutely loved it. I wish the waiters could explain their food better. We have limited knowledge about Indian food and could use some explanation.

If you want to eat tasty food in Delhi, This is a really good place. Very relaxing and calm place. They offer great service too. Here, you can also enjoy some lovely classic Hindi music as you dine.

Tried Palak Paneer ( bland), drums of heaven (yummiest 🥰), dahi ke sholey (yummy), manchow soup(👍👍👍), Virgin Mojito, breads and fried rice. Overall the food was delicious but the palak paneer could have been better. We spent ₹3k which includes 10% service charges after the discount from EasyDiner. The ambience was nice and cosy. The washroom was on the upper floor which can be inaccessible to elderly. Rest, it was a 4/5 experience.

The food and service was really good. The price is about 1500 rupees per person, a bit expensive in comparison to other local restaurants, but i recommend it anyway.

The food tasted good. My friends too loved the food. Servicing was slow although there were several waiters standing nearby. Non alcoholic drinks sounded very exotic but didn't taste that great. Overall the pricing was on the higher side for okay food.

The food in this place is really amazing and delicious.I had been for first time. The food and service is good. That's the reason i give it a 5 star review. The chef there is really polite and good behaviour towards the customers.. Finally I liked it...

It was amazing experience with native Indian cuisine. Most recommended. I also want to mention Rakesh as an excellent waiter, he helped with the choice, he completely nailed it! The staff was attentive and polite all the time.

I am surprised myself that I gave this place 4stars. I could not do otherwise though. Food was excellent, staff very welcoming and helpful as I speak no hindi. I had the lamb bhuna with garlic Nan. For me it was a big portion, lamb cooked brilliantly and the taste mmmm. I had a glass of buttermilk with it. I was tempted by beer but that would have just filled me up and I would have had a problem finishing it. I paid around 800 rupees. That to me is pretty good value.

2day I had buffet lunch,very poor service,manager is also puppet,quality of food spl mutton,they r serving beef coz pcs r so big,seasonal no fruit cut,no cold sweet,wastage of money.

Been here for family dinner. Beautiful and elegant place. Love the decor and maintenance of the restaurant. The ambience and food was great. The meal was delicious and refreshing. The ambience and the decor gave a royal vibe. Love this place for ambience and courteous service of staff.

One of the good places to try mughlai food in CP; the collection of breads like butter naan, pudina parantha and lacchha parantha is extremely delicious. We really liked the tomato soup and pineapple raita. The chicken curry unfortunately was not tasty at all. Amazing service and warm staff. Ambience was pretty average.

I visited their during the Covid-19 unlock 3.0, So, I found this place totally empty and were following all the safety measures.<br/><br/>I went their to celebrate birthday, the staff served me the cake which I took their. They don't serve birthday cakes. Best place to have food, i had this place and ordered my favorite butter chicken the butter chicken was literally so delicious. Amrtisari fish was also good in taste and also i have ordered chiken malai tikka which also good. The ambience pf this place was fantastic.

The mutton biryani served to us today, day of Holi was not fresh. I believe they have served us biryani which was not made today! This is what a 4.3 star restaurant is doing to their customers!! Horrible

Loved everything about this place. Ambience, staffs, atmosphere and most importantly the food. We ordered some drinks and butter naan, lachcha parantha, lahori chicken and lahori mutton. Everything was piping hot, and taste was amazing. Staffs were courteous and always available around. <br/>Washroom was very clean! For me, Washroom is really important as much as the food and theirs was very clean. Overall, experience here was great!

Been here for the second time and loved it the same as much as the first. The servers are courteous and prompt. Each table has a designated server which makes their service fast. The most beautiful gesture of the servers is that even if they aate designated to your tables and standing there all the time, you wouldn't even notice their presence. But when you need them, they aate always there. Truly amazing hospitality. Good is excellent but a little overpriced; still we managed to get value for money with zomato 1+1. The prices wouldn't pinch even if one doesn't have zomato gold because the quantity served is adequate and you get complimentary fried papads of 5 types - that too with as much refills as you wish. Giving an extra star for hospitality to this one.

Visited this place in afternoon around 4 pm and so it was very less crowded.<br/><br/>We just took couple of starters, Thai Spring Rolls and Crispy corn. Both the dishes were equally good. They also serve you with complimentary starter.<br/><br/>The ambience of the place is quiet good. It is themed decor types. The staff is polite and courteous. Everything was fine....but they keep on insisting on charging 10% service charge....which has been declared illegal by govt. <br/>No matter what the restaurant say....dont pay the service charge<br/>If you like the service tip the waiter according to your pocket....they have no right telling anybody how much one should tip

I made my first visit last night to Lazeez Affaire Connaught Place after being multiple times to Lazeez Affaire Chanakyapuri.<br/><br/>It was good to see that we were seated with ease at 11:15PM, and I was amazed to see them welcome guests even at midnight!<br/><br/>The food was similar to the one I have been indulging in at Chanakyapuri.<br/><br/>The staff was also courteous, however even though the ambience was good, it was not at the same level as that of the Malcha Marg outlet😌<br/><br/>I ordered for:<br/><br/>1. Galauti Kebabs: 3/5. Have tried much better galautis in Delhi itself.<br/><br/>2. Butter Chicken: 4/5. Gravy of butter chicken served here is not sweet unlike the conventional recipe and rather a bit spicy.<br/><br/>Due to Zomato Gold, we were able to waive off the charge of one dish😃<br/><br/>I recommend Lazeez Affaire if you are looking for a fine-dining north indian in the outer circle😇

The food here is pathetic, do not order malai kofta , jeera aaloo and chicken curry . If you will tell them to make it bit spicy they will add extra salt. Apart from that after the food arrived I requested for salad and green chili but after 15 minutes I got green chili and no salad.<br/>They charge sevice tax for the service not provided by them . Trust me dont even try and waste your money .......rest up to you friends. Let's come to deserts Phirni was good no second thought on that but dont order brownie it is a brown brick which hotel staff was not able to take a bite with spoon. This place has a lot of hype. After Chanakya Puri they came to Connaught place. The ambience is good plus they have a lot of footfalls from the foreigners because of their chanakyapuri legacy where all the embassies have their den.<br/><br/>We tried butter chicken, Dal Makhni with butter naan and garlic naan. Butter chicken was fantastic while dal makhni also tasted quite amazing. Breads soft and crispy.<br/><br/>Negatives:<br/>Very small table size for two people.<br/>No onions were served with food and when we asked for the onions then both the waiters kept looking at each other as they didn't remember to serve onions.

This restaurant is marvelous for authentic Indian cuisine, the place speaks for itself "Lazeez". Having an awesome experience in its Chanakyapuri branch, I decided to visit this place. I went here with my family.<br/><br/>We starters ordered <br/>Chicken Tikka: It was perfectly grilled in marinated special spices. It's a Wow dish.<br/>Dahi Ke Kebab: Crisp and soft that yummyly melts in your mouth.<br/><br/>For the main course, we had<br/>Lahori Murgh Masala with Jeera Rice and Garlic Naan: You can feel the perfect flavor of various spices specially garam masala. I stumbled across this place on Zomato and thought of trying this on an evening last week.<br/><br/>We ordered Tandoori brocoli as our appetiser which was great in taste and we loved the dish. One of the dissappinting factor was the very slow service but it could be a possibility that this dish preparation takes a lot of time.<br/><br/>We then asked for Palak paneer and some breads along with it. I must say, it was one of the best Palak paneer i have ever had.<br/>The palak was so thinly crushed and the whole texture of the food tasted so well.<br/><br/>I am going to try this place one more time whenever I get a chance!

Had dinner here during my visit to Delhi and it was a good experience. The food time to come but it was almost worth the wait. Food is good but staff and ambience is pathetic staff is not humble and heigene is not word in their dictionary they don't have proper seating arrangement and no crowd arrangement! In CP there is more places to explore! my suggestion is avoid this place.

The staff was friendly and the ambience was pretty chill. This fine dine restaurant serves pretty good mutton roghan josh and raan. The food is well cooked and professionally served to the diners.<br/><br/>The only down side was the service was quite slow.

We went there yesterday in a group of 8. The food was above average, some dishes were nice some were not.<br/>We ordered buttoned mushroom(vey nice), honey chilli lotus stem(Not at all good, too hard also very very sweet), chilli paneer(nice), crispy babycorn( okayish), honey chilli potatoes(good after we asked them not to make much sweet).<br/>In main course we ordered Dal makhani and paneer lababdar. Dal makhani was excellent while paneer was okay.<br/>the service was also okay but staff was not at all helpful. We enquired about how much people can have in a one bowl of dal makhani, to which he reluctantly replied( "do bhi kha sakte hain 4 bhi"), so we ordered 2 bowls thinking that quantity will be less. But when we ordered we got two big bowls and entrie 1 bowl got wasted. <br/>Similarly we had issues with Zomato Gold usage. There is no such condition on zomato gold that with starters we will get starters free with main course we get main course free. We went to this place in a group of 3, we have been there a couple of times. We had hoped for excellent service and food, although the food was decent the service was not only bad, but even rude. <br/>1. After ordering the buffet, the service took 20 minutes to even begin with starters.<br/>2. After 1 round of starters we had to wait for another 15-20 minutes, on complaining to the staff he simply said ‘Everyone is waiting’. <br/>3. After another 10 minutes when we complained about the unnecessary in delay in starters the bearer said that we are getting it hot, that’s why it’s taking long. (Seriously ??? Starters for buffet not ready ? As if only lazeez affaire is gives starters).<br/>4. We called for the manager, but didn’t get any response. At the end of the meal we met the manager near the door. When asked he told us, no one told him that we called for him.<br/><br/>It’s a big restaurant with great ambience, but the staff behaves as if they’re working on a road side dhaba. Heights of unprofessionalism. Management needs to train these rowdies. At least learn something from other restaurants, there are enough options out there.

Located on outer circle CP, easy to find and if you are a little early or late.... Don't worry, finding tables here isn't a challenge... Not much of crowd.<br/><br/>The place isn't worth much mentioning due to cost factor and that's something the management here should look at.<br/><br/>What's the buffet cost for non veg..... It's equivalent to veg.... No questions....<br/><br/>The menu is very short unlike of you are a fan of buffets...<br/><br/>You can choose 2 non veg or 2 veg... Non veg will have only chicken , veg can have a combination between cottage cheese and something else.<br/><br/>They don't have skewers system, they will bring and serve you, actually good to save wastage... But options wise, waiting period is high.<br/><br/>The main course and deserts also aren't worth my mention. No second visit for me.

The place had a decent atmosphere. It has a menu with many dishes to choose from.We had bhatti ka paneer, handi meat, drums of paradise, firm chicken with bean stew and nectar, the flamingo mocktail, paneer tikka margarine masala, and cheddar naan.

I went to lazeez affaire for a family dinner last night. The food was amazing, specially the lahori murg masala. I'm deducting a point for slow service. It was taking a little too much time to bring food but the food was served fresh and was amazing. The wait was almost worth it !

Chicken achari tikka was too salty. Rest everything we ordered was good. Kalmi kebab and Lahori chicken was awesome.chilli chicken was average. Good service by the restaurant.

I went there for my mother’s b’day dinner. I would admit that it wasn’t my first choice, but I am glad I ended up there. I first visited Veda where even though it was completely empty (4-6 people in total on 2 tables) the Manager said they are overbooked even at 8pm and said No to even a table for 2. While I was coming back after my good dinner at Lazeez Affaire, Veda was still only 75% occupied at 9:45pm.<br/>Anyways.... about Lazeez Affaire now, we liked the ambience, service, courtesy and Zomato Gold happened to be the cherry on cake. We ordered Fish Tikka, Dal Lazeez and Matki chicken (recommended by the server basis what we were looking for and explained 2-3 different varieties of chicken dish they had), Garlic Naan, Pudina parantha... everything was tasty. I could feel a tinge of mustard flavour in fish, which was nice for me. Quantity was also fine. They served complementary fried papad and a shot of mocktail as welcome gesture, which was again nice.<br/>Ambience on the ground floor is better than the 2-3 tables on top next to the bar, unless your purpose is to concentrate on drinking. I would recommend a table on ground floor only. Went here with my family and had a really good experience. We were served a welcome drink. In starters we had akhroot seekh kebab which was really good. Main course was also very good. Khasta roti is highly recommended.

Being a fan of Chanakyapuri Lazeez affair, tried the CP branch for the first time & i must say it is awesome. The fish tikka, murg makhni and mutton biryani are a must try. Thr food has so much aroma and it is so tempting. Delicious food, courteous staff makes this place a must visit. Will definitely visit again. I would recommend this place to family/friends for dinner.

To be honest its a big let down for me. The place look dirty & retarded. The food is below average. Staff gives you feel of you being served in a dhaba. Overall its the first & last visit for me.

Hidden gem at Connaught place.. loved the food... Yummy Kali Dal and malai kofta....kudos to Rajesh for warm hospitality...was a good experience ....

Loved the ambience. We had opted for their lunch buffet. It was good for the price that we paid, but not great. A la carte would have been a better choice.

The food was good no doubt but<br/>Some items came cold (surprisingly)<br/>The staff was not polite as if they were doing us a favor.<br/><br/>This spoiled the overall experience hence the 3 star!<br/><br/>Advice to management: train the staff well.

Lazeez Affaire is a fairly new restaurant that has come up in the outer circle of CP. It looks a bit dark from the inside and is a little compact, hence might not be an ideal.place to have a large gathering. The decor, however, was eye-catching.<br/><br/>Kasturi Kebab: The chicken was too chewy and seemed like it had been kept for days before being served. The taste was totally up to the mark, but the chicken core was disappointing.<br/><br/>Matki Chicken: It was a delicious blend of curry with chicken. I'd call it a refined Tawa Chicken with a little less spices.<br/><br/>Lahori Murg Masala: A famous Muslim dish which is supposed to be spicy, but here it was a normal dish. I was expecting a bit more of flavour to come in.

Had a booking on 04.05.2019 @08:15 pm.<br/><br/>I didn't receive any phone call from the restaurant unlike any other restaurant which gives a call before 1 hour of schedule booking. I was running late to the restaurant and gave them a call to inform them. I was told that they shall wait for 10 min and if I don’t turn up they shall cancel the booking. I tried to book for another slot but failed. I took the risk and went there. <br/>I was lucky to get the table. CAUTION 1: Never take a table which is for 4 seating. It is TOO small.<br/><br/>CAUTION 2: The welcome drink is too sweet and if you are diabetic / don’t like too sweet stuffs, please avoid. Even the coconut that was used in ‘Virgin Colada’ was very old and was not smelling fresh. We complained and our drink was diluted with pineapple juice. Even that was not drinkable. The mixed fresh lime soda was made too sweet and later they added soda to manage it.<br/><br/>CAUTION 3: The chicken pieces were really hard (in starters and main course). So hard that we were finding it difficult to cut by knife! Kasturi Kebab (in starters) and Murg Rara (in main course) were much below the mark. We even found a stale piece of chicken in Rara Murg (We didn’t complain to the manager since by that time we understood that nothing good is expected from them).<br/><br/>The only thing that we found good was the ‘Lahori Kadhai Paneer’ and the breads (Onion Kulcha and Butter Naan). And not forgetting the mouth freshener (dried sweetened paan leaves) which was the only stuff that was awesome!<br/><br/>Lastly I was having problem (network issues) to pay online  and they made me comfortable and even asked to pay the amount when I reach home. That was a good gesture however, I got the signal outside the restaurant and paid them there.<br/><br/>Overall experience: Pathetic. Please avoid. You have many other restaurants where you can enjoy the food as well as the environment. Don't spoil your day and money!!!

lazeez affair is one of the finest restaurant in Delhi for fine dinning. The food was delicious. But the ambience was not classy the way Chanakya Puri have it. Overall experience was great.

Really fast service!! Yes! It was quick and yet did not miss anything from a welcome drink to the great tasting dal makhani and breads.. ambience and polite staff adds to the experience.. surely a tick for delicious North Indian for me :D <br/>No fuss whatsoever with app based discounts too! :)

The name stands by the experience of the place. An absolute "Lazeez Affaire". Great interior makes the experience of dining worthy. But the food is always the star.<br/><br/>The restaurants often work on their interior rather than putting efforts on food. Its good to see a beautiful place with great food.<br/><br/>We were offered the welcome drink which was in a shot glass, the flavour was very mild i guess it was strawberry. It was weird to see they served the welcome drink to only 3 people & other 2 who came in 5 mins late kept asking for welcome drink from the waiters but were not provided with that.<br/>Our order then was :-<br/>1. Tandoori Platter(veg)<br/>2. Dal makhani<br/>3. Lahori chicken<br/>4. Mix vegetable<br/>5. Breads-butter nan, laacha pratha, stuffed kulcha & tandoori roti.<br/>The food was amazing specially the Dal makhani. So creamy absolutely lip smacking.
