Review Govardhan Vegetarian - New Delhi

It is very costly with comparison to their taste. Especially their dosa. But overall other than that service was great. Atmosphere is great. Good for north indian lover

This cozy restaurant has left great impressions with such nice service and mouth watering food..especially with the DAHI KE SHOLEY,which were the best I have ever tasted..this is a must visit restaurant .

Good food, service needs to improve. While serving its best to wear glove as the person serves me has cut in his finger with a bandaid, not healthy.
LAKSHAY GUPTAo
One of my favourite South Indian restaurant. Here you will find North Indian and Chinese as well. They even have combos and platters and very attractive party packs. I recently ordered masala dosa, rava masala dosa and South Indian combo. Everything was fantastic and delicious. Though the food got delayed as I ordered it home. Sambhar was sweet and yumm. Really liked the sambhar. The only problem was after telling them over phone and mentioning on thé special instruction over Zomato, they didn't had the courtesy to send 'red chutney' which is their special dish.

The experience was good .kit kat milk shake ,soya chaap gravy , Manchurian and noodles they all were good. I like the environment and service here, all waiters were quite attentive.

the mighty dosa! And who better to do it justice than Govardhan Vegetarian, a well-known name in the world of delicious veggie fare. Yesterday, I ventured into their warm embrace and emerged with a satisfied stomach and a song in my heart

Tried this restaurant number of times. It is located near to adchini chauraha, and besides hero honda showroom. The place has good quality food and offers proper dine in. Service is average in class and can be improved. Prices are premium one, and thus requires improvement in quality or better service. Place has limited parking and needs improvement. Still the place is much recommended to visit for quality food and good taste.

Delicious food , good price and wonderful for pure veg/vegan

Great experience at Govardhan, fully vegetarian. Jain food options are available (without onion & garlic). South Indian, North Indian and Chinese cuisines are available. Staff is really knowledgeable, the manager was out of the box and explained the ingredients in detailed. Vale parking is available for free, A good premium dining experience for pure vegetarians.

Last week I went to Govardhan Vegetarian Restaurant and I had quite a pleasant experience. I ordered Maharaja Thali and it all tasted heavenly good. The food cost me about very cheap but it was really worth it.

I went here with my family, we had fried rice with manchurian and dal makhni, masala chaap and paneer. The presentation was nice but the taste was really average. The portion size as per the price could be improved. Though for breads we had mirchi naan and pudina naan, both were good. The fried rice were good too so was the manchurian sauce but the manchurian dumplings wasn’t good. The service was quite slow but the interiors are nice. There was family crowd so one could visit with their families.

Thali was overall good❤️ I specially love its paneer sabji❤️ portion could have been more better but overall it was good💓 this thali could be added in my favourites!
Gulhasan
Experience was good enough.. Complete vegetarian menu.. Without onion food available. Perfect match for my requirement. The ambience was okay. Interior was good though. Item prices are reasonable and not a burden on pocket. Starters need some improvement in taste though. Must visit place for vegetarian dinner..
Yesterday I visited this place with my friends and had an amazing time!
We ordered:
Dahi k sholey (dahi kebab):
Oh such amazing pockets of happiness! Dahi was not sour nor overly filled. Just of right amount and even wrapping was thick enough to hold the dahi inside!
.
Masala chaach:
Such homemade feeling!
.
Fruit punch:
Must try!! Really refreshing
.
Amritsari platter:
More than enough for 2 people!
Kulche were just good enough!
Chole were so good, might be interested in ordering more.
Dal makhni was mind blowing! Fresh, good, full of right spices and just enough!
Gulab jamun wasn’t overly sweet but just of right amount. Glad I could taste everything!
Apart from these, there was raita, papad, and salad
.
Fried momos:
Trust me, not oily at all!! Cooked perfectly and stuffing was good too. It’s chutney was blast!
.
Mysur masala dosa:
Perfect! That amount of spices and mixture of potatoes(filling/ stuffing) was good! Just so good, couldn’t have enough of this!

A famous poet has said, “History is theirs who’s language is sun”. This outlet situated at the prime location of Adchini is all the way ready to create a history in it’s own way.
If you are a vegetarian you would definitely love this outlet,
And if you are a non vegetarian then you would indeed get fascinated by visiting here.
Superb plating
Great food
Nice drinks
Kind Hospitality
All upto the mark.
* Start from the starters- Dahi Ke Shole are amazingly soft and juicy, Veg Steamed Dimsums are excellent and Chaap Tikka Masala is breathtaking ❣️
* In main course- Goverdhan Special Dosa is outstandingly exceptional as it contains dry fruits and amazing topping which makes it as a matter of record.
Secondly I tried Amritsari Kulcha Platter that includes Chana Masala, Dal Makhani and Raita along with Amritsari Kulcha + a dessert also (Gulab Jamun)😍
And ofcourse Kaju Curry is a surprise for me.
* In drinks Fruit punch and Virgin Mojito I would recommend.

Visited this vegetarian restaurant located in Adchini for lunch with friends.

They have ample seating area on ground floor as well as first floor. We found their hospitality very amazing, service was quick and staff was courteous.

Here are some of the things we tried and really liked from this outlet :

-Govardhan Special dosa : This is their special dosa and it was made with a mix of aloo-paneer masala and was topped with lots of dry fruits, served with sambhar, chutney and more sabji. It's a must try.😇

-Crispy Fried vegetables : Mix vegetables were fried and assorted in a sauce similar to schezwan, tasted amazingly well.😁

-Soya chaap tikka: I really liked how this starter was cooked, not too soft not too hard and it was made in delicious chatpata spices. A wonderful starter item.

-Kaju masala: This is a main course item, and one of their speciality, i have never had something like this anywhere else, it's a wonderful treat to your taste buds.

-Amristari Kulcha platter : This platter contained pieces of kulcha stuffed with aloo and served with chole, dal, raita, papad and gulab jamun. I felt quantity wise it was very good. Two people can share it. 😇

-Dahi ke sholay : The dahi ke sholays were so perfect, they were crispy and yet melted in the mouth, it's a must try 😇.

-In drinks we tried fruit punch, virgin mojito, Butter milk and sweet lassi. All the drinks were refreshing and tasted amazing with the delicious food.

Our experience at this outlet was splendid, it's a perfect place for people who enjoy vegetarian food. They have a vast menu to choose from and almost everything that we had tasted amazing, quantity and portion size was also good. A definite recommendation to go here with your friends and family.

But but dont be disheartend as all the non veg foodies can also try some nice veg items. So we tried
Steamed dimsums
dahi ke sholey
fried dimsums
mysuru masala dosa
kaju masala
soya chaap tikka
crispy fried veg
amritsari kulcha platter
greeen chilly parantha

The spcl govardhan dosa

Coming to drinks we had 4-5 of them
fruit punch
masala chatka
butter milk
sweet lassi
virgin mojito

Then came the deserts and as usual tasted amazing and we tried 2 of them
Triple sundae
Fruits with ice cream

Overall one of the finest places near malviya nagar metro and the location is nice as its on the main road towards adchini market. A very nice vegetarian restaurant located at a place where parking is not a problem. The food items are really delicious. One can get items even without onion and garlic. The items we ordered for were so good that we have decided to visit this place multi times. The crockery is too good. Absolutely clean place.

In Adchini behind Hero showroom there is a beautiful restaurant Govardhan. You will enjoy the view specially at night and ne glad they have a valet service.
The restaurant has good decor and ample of spacing which makes it enjoyable for big family dinners.
Since Navratra is going on I had the chance to taste their Navratra thali along with that I ordered Paneer Tikka masala and Naan.
The Navratra thali had lots of dishes which will be ample for two people. The thali had an average presentation and the number of dishes was quite normal too. It had Sitaphal ki sabzi, aloo ki sabzi, Shahi paneer, arbi fry, fruits, sama k rice, sabudana tiki -1, sabudana papad, raita, poori, peanuts and sabudana ki kheer.
Each dish tasted nice but my favourite was sama rice, kheer (had foxy nuts and generous amount of saffron), and Shahi paneer was quite standard. Pooris were nice and so was the others dishes in the platter.
Regarding the service, I felt it was bit slow and also the kitchen door sounds a lot when used which is quite an irritating thing.

I would really recommend the dish if you are round the corner and even if you are not having vrat, you should really have it.
A nice restaurant with a homely feel. Everything I had was delicious. The staff is courteous. A good dining experience.
Tanya
It's a really good family restaurant. The food quality is amazing. We ordered dry manchurian, crispy chilly potato and hakka noodles. The manchurian and chilly potato were really spicy so if you aren't really a spicy food person then you must tell them before! Hakkah noodles were tasty. All over, it's a decent place with good ambience.
Surya Kant Maurya
The ambience was pleasant and good music playing in the background. Would recommend this place for all vegetarians

Good vegetarian food be it North Indian starters or Main course coupled with nice ambiance. Slight improvement required in the quality of Mocktails but Overall a very decent experience in terms of food and service.

Located near the peaceful Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Delhi branch, this family restaurant is the place to hangout with your loved ones. With cusines including North Indian, South Indian and Chinese it falls in the budget restaurant category. Staff is friendly and helpful and services is also very good !!
Murali Krishnan
It was really a wow feel and I truly enjoyed the ambiance, food, variety and above all the warmth, courtesy and personal care and service extended by Mr.Atul Kumar the Manager in charge. His professional approach towards meeting the needs of the guest was truly exemplary. I am sure that every Delhi visit of mine will henceforth have a visit & dining at Govardhan exclusively because of this gentleman. Best wishes to him and Govardhan hotel.

Poor food quality and pathetic taste.. Went for the first and had very bad experience... Will never visit again... Uduppi restraunt is far far better in South Indian food than govardhan

Best food in Delhi !!!! 😋😋😋 Love this place very much ! Biryani dal and paneer are very tasty ! Deserts are also very mouth watering must try place

Good ambiance...super delicious food..must try Chinese cousin and paneer tikka...staff quite well...good parking space...pocket friendly..1 no.👍🏼

Air conditioning not upto the mark... Manager talks to the customers while playing golf with hand in the pocket... No kids menu... Waiters curt and have no clue about the menu items placement... Takes 4 minutes to find where noodles is listed in the menu.. mosquitOES feasting on the customers blood, cockroaches all over... overall dissatisfied with the noisy and unhygienic conditions at this "fine dine"...

#Govardhan
Review..

Govardhan Vegetarian Restaurant in Adhchini, South Delhi..

The place seems to be attractive from outside and had from friends earlier on the food.. but ny visit to the Restaurant was not that exciting .. Nothing was good about it..
We were about seven people in our group and other tables were also fully occupied..though there was no waiting time..
We ordered Dal Makhani, Malai kofta, Roti's, Masala Dosa & Onion Dosa, Idli, Fried Rice, etc.

The service was very poor and we had to ask three times before the water could be served..

Onion Dosa was nothing but a plain dosa with Onions sprinkled on it..
Masala Dosa had no Masala..
Dosas were served without the Sambhar and Chutney and we had ask twice for the same..

Malai kofta was too sweet..

Dal Makhani was ok ok ..
Fried rice was good but the quantity was very less as compared to other restaurants at the same price.
Idli was nice ..

Then when the billing was done, it had a mistake as 2 dosa were served and billing was done for 3 dosas.. the manager confirmed that the billing once done cannot be cancelled and customer will have to pay the full bill and the excess shall be refunded in cash only..
No senior personas available and since we were also getting late could not write a complaint..

There was chaos in the Restaurant and people could be seen complaining for one or the other things as the waiting time for food to be served was very high...

Place not recommended by me neither the food nor the service..

A bad experience in a long time..

#BadExperience

Simply the best vegetarian food. Just perfect in every sense. Never too spicy or oily. Old seasoned staff. Service is good. Delivery is good too.
Ankita
The dahi kebabs of this place are amongst the best you'll ever have. Also loved their Soya chaap. The food is delectable and in sufficient quantities. The staff is polite and courteous, but the service could be quicker. One should try this place atleast once if you're around!
Nicholas B Choudhury
Really delicious vegetarian dishes. Tried most of their dosas. Very hospitable right from the parking valet till the waiter. Great to have a meal with the family. Will try their north Indian next time.
Neha Agarwal
Paneer uttapam was bland and badly prepared. Dosa was fine. Buttermilk was ordered but it arrived after the meal was done. Even then waiter had to be reminded.
Sarabjit
Good ambience with ample wallet parking is a plus with this restaurant. Vegetable biryani is one of the best dishes. Variety of food is impressive. Though service needs to be improved. Found it a bit overpriced also.
Manmohan Singh
my first order. dal was okay but malai kofta was flat. should have been slightly spicy and gravy should have been colourful.
Akhil Kumar
We had ordered a dosa and it was the worst I ever had. The coconut chutney was old and expired yet they kept service the Same again and again.
Sunpreet Kaur
A pure veg place near Adchini, it’s a decent lunch-cum-meeting place. The ambience is great for any kind of occasions. Mini-meals give great light-on-the-pocket options. Love their coconut rice, a dish that calls me back to this place quite often.
Ankkit O Aggarwal
The food is good. But staff if rude and unfriendly the moment they heard Zomato Gold, it was like they got bitten with Snake! Terrible. Unfriendly. Rude. Unprofessional. Wish owners must look in customer service rather anything else. Must not offer if you can’t honor.
Trishna Barman
The Rawa dosa, masala dosa and chowmein tasted amazing. Nice clean place to go on a family outing. Friendly staff. Good quantity. Recommended.
Happy eating!;)

This place is just Okay to have some regular under the budget meals. Not so happening though. Food was good and the service was quick. Staffs were amicable.

The food was amazing and the staff was also very good. Chilli paratha is worth trying and so is the tawa chaap. Budget friendly with tasty food.
Purva Bhojane
great service and food, liked the ambience and new place. good parking place with good valet parking option. with zomato gold it was amazing
Saxena Pankaj
The food quality is not up to the mark. It seems as if the food was prepared from the oil which had been used multiple times before. The kulcha does not have any filling and the chana masala does not have good taste. NOT SATISFIED WITH FOOD.
Jasneetsingh1993
Poor service and staff doesn't know how to behave with customers. Had a very bad experience and would never recommend anyone to go there. Staff was very rude 😡
Parag
Staff not aware of Zomato Gold timings
No prior information given.
Overcharged us. Unsatisfied.
Dont Visit this place not worth it. Staff rude and did not accept Mistake

It was the best restraunt we found in delhi for proper jain food. The staffs were coordinating properly and the food was soo delicious......

For all the vegetarians out there, this place is a must visit. The food here is super delicious with all the delicacies available. It also has a soothing and pleasant ambiance. It is best suited for family dinners. So the next time you want to take your family out, you know where to go.
Vipul Shastri
This place used to be soooooo good. It has gone down sooooo bad now. I used to go there with the family so often there but won't visit it after having suffered the last 3-4 times I went.

1) Staff: uncourteous, uncouth, indisciplined, rude. Except the manager who is always so sweet and smiling and always apologising for the mistakes of the staff, everyone else is downright rude, with so much of a wrong attitude. They talk to you like they are doing you a favour. From taking down incomplete orders and argue later, to not having enough plates for enough guests on the table. This happened repeatedly. 7guests need to be put 7plates. And despite asking for it multiple times, still nothing. Used straws given for buttermilk every now and then. The straw holder is soo dirty, I swear if you'd take out all the straws and look inside, you will find some buttermilk floating in it. Little done ever to change that.
You may keep asking for cutlery but nope, they just make a face and act like they are going to get it. But they never do.

2) Food: I'm part southy. And I know how things taste. And this place serves things that amaze me. The coconut chutneys made with stale coconuts. Stale, pungent. Sambhar has lost its taste. You need to add salt everytime. The idlis are hard, disappointing. But what has changed over the years is the taste. Everything has become too goddamned sweet. The sambhar is sweet. Bisi bele bhaath = Sweet AF.

3) Experience: Total let down. You will always find someone complaining or shouting at the staff. The last time I went (december i think), there was a gentleman, visibly south indian, shouting at the manager that the sambhar was stale and smelling bad.

Classic example of how a good south indian restaurant that also gets the numbers in throughout the day and is packed mostly, can get it wrong and continue to down. Patrons I'm sure would be a disappointed lot. Would really expect these guys to turn it around for good.

A pocket friendly vegetarian restaurant.. We were around saket looking for some good dine in restaurants!! This a good place for family dine out!! Soothing music with delicious food!! The dal Makhani and kaju curry were awesome!! The breads were soo soft.. Planning to visit more to explore their Menu😍
Rohit Vora
Good choice for pure vegiterian. Every one has different taste hence for me lot of improvement required. However any vegiterian must visit once. Service can be better subject to staff motivation.

Was craving for some good north Indian food after getting bored from the routine Hostel mess menu at college.
The place did meet my expectations.
We ordered Malai Kofta and Kadhai Paneer. Both the dishes are perfectly cooked.
5 Star for the Malai Kofta dish served with cashewnuts.
PS: The place can be quite crowded during peak hours. Make sure you have reservation in place.

Useless, Tasteless rotten food. Would never order again from this restaurant (have ordered in the past but it was never so bad although quality was getting deteriorating every time..
Abhishek Sawant
Really Good Place.
We really loved the food here they serve pure veg dishes & tasty food really at this price.
We have tried kaju curry here which was good.
Mushroom Masala was nice as mushroom was cooked properly & Creamy Flavoured.
Thank u so much Mr.Kamesh
Apoorva Gaur
Everything here was too oily be it dosa, chole bhatoore or thali.
Due to Saturday evening and the crowd the service wasn’t proper, they gave us dosa without the sambhar. The sambhar was given when we asked for it twice. Thali was served without the rice,we had to check the menu and tell them that rice is missing from the Thali. The food taste wasn’t up to the mark.
I will not recommend.
Resham Palai
Worst experience....we take away a sahi paneer from the restaurant with out onion garlic which cost us 285 rupees but found only a single piece of paneer from the whole container..I would have given it zero rating for the betrayal we face..simply cheater..only know to thug people...and this is second time we are facing this type of unprofessionalism from goverdhan
Abhishek Upamanyu
I ordered talumein soup. The delivery was on time and the soup war warm. There were enough vegetables and noodles to make it a nourishing treat. But presence too many green chillies and hard kernel corn somewhat dampened the experience. Overall a pocket-friendly decent buy.
Vaibhav
This restaurant is a very good place for family time regarding dinner, lunch and buffet breakfast. Starters are Specialties of this restaurant.
Ajay Kumar
Awesome quality... Yummy taste... We really enjoyed #DahiKadum#... Ummmaah... Special biryani and having dinner wide frnds was great with such a taste and satisfied.
Visited Delhi from Mumbai but it's was great food.

We have loved this place for the food for a long time.... As we stay in sarvodaya enclave we always go here. Now they have shifted near hero showroom from the original location still the love for it is still there.

Today I took a client of mine for pure vegetarian south and north indian cuisine. Our food was satisfactory and this client of mine is a coffee lover just like me and we ordered 2 filter coffees and suddenly this manager called Jo tall guy comes running and says that coffee not possible because it will take a long time. I have been to this place for many years and to agree with him was difficult and asked him to make it anyway... He tried to dissuade is trying to tell us stuff like coffee will have to be made from a scratch wherein an ardent coffee lover like me knows that south indian food joints always make the decoction in advance ( off course) and it is not possible to prepare it from a scratch. When we argued this guy brought 2 coffees in 5 mins and the gentleman with me was furious. The only reason he didn't want to give us coffee was because he wanted us to release the table. How horrible? A steward came an apologised later outside and he said u know he was fooling you. It has really given me a sour taste in the mouth.
Praveer
In it's earlier version on Aurobindo Marg, the food was tasty, had authentic flavors. Frankly, it's latest avatar leaves me wondering what happened to the fantastic sambhar, idlis, dosas and more. My dosas in the new location, were boring. Street dosas are more exciting. On top of that, they ruined my gunpowder chutney by adding mustard oil instead of ghee. The new interiors are nice but the service remains indifferent. I do hope they brush up their cooking skills.
Azhar Husain
Lemon rice was delivered without coconut chutney.
Sanya Anand
I often visit this place with my family. They serve South Indian, North Indian as well as Chinese food so plenty of options for everyone to choose from. My favourite dishes are Mixed vegetable Uttapam, honey sesame potato, soya chaap tikka, vegetable noodles and dal makhani. Their food is great and it’s also pocket friendly. The staff is attentive and polite. Their Sunday buffets are also worthwhile.
Parth Yadav
Well, a guest house cum banquet hall converted into a restaurant. Food isn't that good. The thing about Indian food is that, it's full of flavours, here it's simply bland. Being completely vegetarian was the attractive point for me to go there, but I left the place disappointed. The paneer was of very substandard quality and considering the price, A2B at Green Park is WAY BETTER.
Aman
Went there with my friend from England. I was hoping they have good food. My friend ordered some Indian dishes. The best part was they cooked it fresh and I could feel the fresh taste
Shrishti Jha
Decent place to order some light South Indian food.
Ordered rawa onion masala dosa and masala dosa.
Dosa's were crisp . And the masala tasted good too.
Portions of chutney and sambhar were well.
Nariyal chutney tasted authentic and the food was overall tasty.
Manish Jain
Must go place for vegetarians living in Adchini area. Has variety of delicious veg dishes available apart from paneer delicacies which are the only generally available elsewhere
Vaibhav Chauhan
Worst staff ever. please check your bills before paying.. poor food taste.. totally sweet paneer and cold sambhar! Worst experience of dining!! There are many better places with much better food.. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE
Kritika Khullar (enchantcaptures)
If you need to eat and are not sure where to go this place is surely one to count on. A simple yet spacious resturant offering a great variety in every cuisine. Chinese food like fried rice and Manchurian is fine. North Indian platter is worth and tasteful. Chilli paneer is a worth trial. Overall good place to visit and eat. Preferred for family get together.
Bharatkalra27
A good family restaurant. Serves only vegetarian food, but delicious food.
Service is good, can improve the ambience/interiors.
Hassle free parking facility available.

Staff is very rude, don’t have basic courtesy while talking... food is ok nothing great.. Overhyped compared to other better restaurants nearby...

Service and Food was good.Ordered delux thali, buttermilk and filter coffee.Buttermilk had lot of black pepper but they politely changed when told about the same.
Arun Singh
Chinese is bad. Too oily and far away from authentic. Refused to serve few things/platters on zomato Gold. And were providing tea with food as 1+1. Funny right? I hope their Indian is better. Didn't try that though but going by restaurant's name, their indian should be nice
SUPER CREATION STYLE
food was delicious and quality also very good but the quantity was very very less. Disappointed with a quantity.

*Jain food place alert*
One of the best place for veg and Jain food. I'm mentioning veg food because the Jain food was also stunning thus the veg food has to be stunning.
Subz biryani: perfectly cooked, proper blend of vegetables and yes mouthsmacking taste
Dal makhani: pretty good
Amritsari kulcha platter: It included amritsari kulcha, chhole ,raita and dal makhani. The taste was very good infact stunning. Good enough quantity to eat for a single person.
But while ordering Jain food make sure that you give the description of Jain properly
*Highly highly recommended*

Honestly, I thought it was a south indian place but the guests around were just ordering north indian by the kilo so I was confused initially. I risked it and tried the south indian, rava coconut masala dosa and the masala dosa. Apart from the fact that it took over 30 mins for the order to arrive, (in comparison, the north indian dishes were rolling in way quicker) the food was average. The coconut chutney wasnt upto the mark but the sambhar kind of made up for it. Although it's cheap (600 for 2 ), you can definitely find much better dosas for half the price.
Varun Kajla
ordered thali but taste was not good . delivery of zamato was poor . guys don't waste your money .

Recently visited this place. Really yum south indian food! I ordered
1. Tomato soup
2. Virgin mojito
3. Honey chilli potato
4. Rava paneer dosa
5. Garlic noodles
6. Tandoori aloo
It is really pocket friendly and family restaurant. The mojito was really sweet though and the chilli potato too spicy. Rest the service was really good.

North Indian dishes were very delicious and beautifully served. I ordered Malai kofta and mutter mushroom which were very tasty and one more thing , they served me the best Malai kofta I ever had. Also I ordered south Platter , which was just satisfactory , sambhar was too sweet which should be avoided in making . Overall in terms of service they were very nice and polite. Yes little efforts should be made in terms of lightning. The lights were too dim.
Food - 4/5
Ambience - 3.2/5
Service - 4.1/5

Overall a must visit for North Indian cuisines.

The first experience to this place was good. We had mushroom and paneer chilli dry. Tasted awesome. So was Paneer lababdar. Also the manager was very cordial. But the next time around the behaviour had already changed. When we asked for luke warm water to drink they made a face. I could hear them whisper among themselves about the pain that we were causing and also took well beyond 40 minutes to get a glass of water. Get your service right.

taste was good. but quantity was very less.

On my way back to home with a friend, planned to stop by here for a Vegetarian South Indian lunch. Should say it was a good decision. It had a good ambience although a bit of a kitty party type but then also good for a family mealtime. So we had kind of a rava meal. Rava onion masala dosa, rava coconut masala dosa and rava kesari. The service by the staff was prompt. Food tasted delicious and very authentic. I have become a fan of their sambhar. It was one of the best I've had. Will surely visit again.
Richa Shivhare
Not a great experience. I had ordered for Uttapam. It was half burnt, half cooked.
So, avoid south indian food in Govardhan instead try the north indian thali stuff. That is good.

rava onion dosa. The secret here is the layer of the dosa which is large and fulfilling. Very heavy to eat. Can be taken with the family. Wonderful crowd.

found an insect moving here and there on the amritsari platter, worst packaging of south indian...only food quality is awesome but still who wants to eat that kind of food in which you found an insect...really disappointed
