we went their to celebrate birthday and we were 25 people.. it's a small place and we ordered shahi paneer, butter chicken and tawa chicken it costs us only 4000 ruppes it is actually awsome
The ambience is decent and it is located on the main road near the metro station tilak nagar.
I had
Paneer malai tikka - it was too yum soft paneer pieces marinated with cream and veggies.
Chicken monchow soup - It was delicious and the quantity was also much i had the prope taste of chicken pieces and hot soup in this cold weather.
Tawa chicken - It was not that good as I was expecting

The food r amazing i really love it but the chapati was bot hot but its taste was really amazing i like it . Fresh lime soda is also very good i really want visit again for try different dishes i also like the ambience 😁
Visited this place last week. This place has good space and food as well. We ordered veg platter , paneer do pyaza and some butter roti's. Everything was delicious. We loved the presentation as well. Veg platter was so well presented and looked mouthwatering as well. Service was also good. We gonna surely visit again here to try some non veg dishes as well.

Nice place with a very basic ambience. Food and service was good. I liked the Peshawari chicken the most out of all other items. Also the place is quite economical.
We visited Royal Punjab last weekend and were fascinated with the ambience of this place. The cuisine served at the restaurant is mouth watering. We loved eating Peshawari Chicken and the minced chicken filling in each piece was making it more delicious. Everything about this place is great.
I visited here first on new year, 1st January exactly an year back. And after that twice more on different occasions. It's got a bright signboard and good floor area so hard to miss it inspite of many eateries in the vicinity. Inside, it's got a dimly lit ambience which feels great. The tables are well spread.
The staff is courteous and humble. They suggest us well what was hit selling for them and what should we option for according to our mood and taste.
Once you order, food comes pretty quickly. So the service is fast. Presentation is good but nothing to rave about. Taste is really good and the serving per plate is good enough. You order 2-3 dishes and naans and rice for a group of 4; that should suffice I believe. Starters are also delicious os the place. Pricing is little bit on the costlier side but you also get a slightly premium service and dine out compared to most other places in Jail road.
It was a last minute decision to visit this place and was worth it. You can't ask for anything better at such an affordable price.

This is an amazing place to visit, food is normally good. Tandoori momos are a must try the only drawback is slow service at times. all in all a definite 4 star and you should check our the place once.

I always have Chicken rara at this place best taste with a good price. The place is very neat and clean, the sitting arrangement is very good. Must try place for lunch and dinner.
Aa I go here, I get a real feeling as I am in Punjab that for all of us is a matter of proud and totality. my favorite from here is gol gappe and they taste brilliant. their chowmein is also good and definitely should be tried by everyone. I would recommend everyone to visit here if they wish to feel like having Punjabi taste food.

A regular customer of this place from almost last 4 years. Highlights of their menu Royal punjab special butter chicken. And my personal favorite peshawri chicken which i guess has now been discontinued. The taste pf butter chicken is very good and i dont know how but it is improving day by day. You can also try mutton rogan josh. If ypu dont want to travel far to go to mughal mahal you can order or dine in here because they give a stiff competition to Mughal Mahal
They've got the best Afghani momos. Nobody can say a word against them because of how good the momos are. For a Momo lover like me, this place is on the top of my list for ordering momos.

Had a great evening with great food at Royal Punjab restaurant, jail road.
For starters we had tandoori chicken and chilly chicken(dry) and in main course we had chicken tikka butter masala. Everything was perfect except main course which was little bit salty. Service was quite decent. Atmosphere was good though place was overly crowded by sikh people.
But if you are lookin for a cheap place for a dinner Royal Punjab will be one of my recommendation.
Usually they have one of the best butter chicken on jail road but yesterday I had most PATHETIC of them all. Never expected the same.

A must try place for mouth-watering and delicious snacks. The quality and presentation they serve you is worthwhile.
Although there is some issues regarding service, its too delaying, waiting long time to get your food served is sometimes irritating.

Bharva -tangri : The dish is presented with 4 properly cooked drumsticks stuffed with juicy chicken mince and marinated as afghani chicken with a coating and dipped in cream thats makes the taste so delicious that you wil ask them to serve you with more of it. A MUST TRY.
Chili-chicken : crispy Chicken breast pieces sautee with well prepared chili sauce along with bellpepper and onions gives a tremendous taste to your taste buds.
Chicken spring rolls:Properly cooked and well stuffed Chicken spring rolls will make your tongue get rolled to get taste of every bit of it.
Chicken Afghani Momos: A MUST TRY DISH for all delhites . Truely recommendable dish for a momos lover. Momos covered with creamy texture will npt let you to forget the heaven taste the got.

Very good quality of food but want to say only 1 thing dat just improve your service quality and have a good behaviour of staff.

Nice place to eat with family, i should say the best amongst all in the crowded area of jail road. Must try butter chicken and Dal bukhara, it's finger lickin awesome.
I would recommend this restaurant only for those people who can have patience to wait for their food. Because the food is definately worth the wait. Their service should improve otherwise the number of people visiting will decrease. I simply love their boneless butter chicken, chicken malai tikka, and their lovely garlic naan
So we were around 12 people and on recommendation by 2 of our friends who had previously dined here , we gave royal punjab a shot for what they have to offer for a daawat - e - khaas.
We ordered butter chicken , tawa chicken , handi chicken and all were just fabulous , superb tasting gravy and chicken was just too succlent and pleasure to eat :D.
It has decent ambience mind you and gives you nice comfortable feeling while you enjoy your scrumptious meal :) .. indeed this place is worth a try , most of my friends had their tummy full with a delight and satisfaction reflected from their smile and even the last drop of gravy was savoured :D

Lack of parking space was an instant drawback.
Interiors and seatings were also modest and average.

Once a pass by this restaurant one of my friend dropped in grabbed a menu pamphlet from the manager and provided us a brief description about this new restaurant back before two years.
So we checked in on a hot Monday afternoon for a birthday retreat lunch and orders were about a half kadhai chicken and a half portions of butter chicken too. The breads accompanied were soft and complimented to the curry varieties with green chutney and pyaaz.
Tandoori chicken momos were good!
However I felt they can improve on to their afghani chicken momos and it will be bang on!
Butter chicken was nice too but nothing extra ordinary.
I have tried i guess most of the items on the menu, my family orders food every week from here excellent food i mean everything they make and delivery is good, get piping hot food at my doorstep every time and restaurant is also a nice comfortable place to eat.

Tried this restaurant when we had no other option and trust me it was a good decision taken. Ordered Rara Chicken, Garlic Naan with Paneer Butter Masala. The chicken is to die for, i havent had such an amazing rara chicken in a real long time. The ambience is average though and the service is okay.

Afghani Chicken - One of the best i had till date. Again nice combination of Malai cream and chicken which was very soft and fresh.
Butter Chicken - They call it their specialty and they really kept their word. Gravey is too awesome.
Rara Chicken - Not so good as compared to above dishes.
Breads - Have ordered Plain Roti,Garlic Naan and Pudina Parantha. Breads were crisp and nicely baked.

Quite a decent place both in terms of the ambience and quality of the food. The only thing which needs some improvement is the response time of the waiters as we had to call the waiters multiple times to place the order.
I ordered Tandoori Chicken, Fish Orlay in snacks and Butter Chicken, Kadhai Paneer, Tandoori Roti, Butter Naan and Coke in main course. I like the taste of tandoori chicken it was Yum😊 and kadhai paneer mie favourite although the food is good.

This is a very old and renowned restaurant on Jail Road, Really famous for the Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani, Chicken Tikka Tawa, Shahi Paneer, Mix Vegetables . They do have buffet option during Lunch and in dinner depends on the Strength of people. Owner is polite, staff is good serving food with full passion. Dine in is a good experience here. Starter are all best to have.

Service is poor, One item was wrongly billed and I paid the amount and all of a sudden I noticed that the item paid by me was not consumed,so the front desk guy modified the bill and return the excess amount paid by me and also when I requested for a container from the waiter to pack the left over food, he denied and gave me polythene which was little wiered for me but the owner took the stand and ensure the same... He was really humble and nice.... Overall the place is nice for a family dinner outing.... 7/10
