Review Kylin Express - New Delhi

Kylin express is a foodchain brand having 2 outlets in Delhi. One of them is situated at food court of DLF place Mall, Saket. It's on the 3rd floor. They serve a well organised Chinese platters as well as starters. I ordered chilli paneer platter. It was served with fried rice, veg manchurian, spring roll, honey chilli potato and a soft drink. It was delicious.

Love to have food here . Delicious food serve by them . It’s nice experience to have food here . First they serve quickly. We ordered a combo of Manchurian, Chilly Paneer ,Cold drink , Spring roll & rice . It was beautiful served & good to eat .

The best honey chilli 🌶 potato is served by them. Momos are the best too. Specially burnt garlic and chilli sauce. It’s mouth watering

Ordered veg Khao Suey at Kylin Express, Ambience Mall VK food court. The dish looked great, noodle soup with a variety of condiments. The DEAD COCKROACH in particular was lovely! If a food inspector were to perform an audit of the establishment, I'm very sure there would be multiple violations. It is a risk to eat food at such hyped food establishments.

I ordered a non veg combo meal and was HIGHLY DISSAPPOINTED....Rice tasted Stale and not freshly prepared and Spring Roll tasted Sweet instead of Spicy.....The same meal I have eaten at Kylin Express at DLF Promenade and it was fantastic that's why I ordered it at Kylin express, Ambience Mall and look what I got....Please avoid Kylin Express@Ambience mall and SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY....

For some fun and shopping with some friends I was at Ambience Mall and went to food court for lunch around 3 pm. Good authentic and Chinese dishes were super tasty. Good portion and very affordable price. Lovely spot in Vasant Kunj. for Chinese craving.

Was at Ambience mall Vasant Kunj. Ordered one deluxe combo along with a portion of honey chilly potato from this place.<br/>Deluxe combo consists of chilly paneer gravy, Manchurian gravy,a piece of spring roll and small portion of honey chilly potato and fried rice. Actually u can choose between fried rice and noodles and I have chosen rice.Also you will get a glass of fountain coke along with your combo.<br/>Honey chilly potato a la carte portion was descent and made from home made potatoes which are not crispy at all. Also it was too sweet and one can only feel the sweetness without any chilly flavour.<br/><br/>Overall an average food.

Order for bowl meal from here that is kung pao style with noodle. The portion felt less but the taste was great. Yummy food. Will come back to try more options.

Sizzler by kylin express is too hot to handle you can enjoy your sizzler as they are best in this field. A nice place to hangout with your family or friends.

I had this non veg box of hakka noodles that was good in quantity and quality ofcourse.<br/>You can have veg or non veg box according to your wish.<br/>I had the chicken one in which chicken pieces and gravy was there which were making absoloutely great taste to these hakka noodles.<br/>A must try thing for noodle lovers.

Kylin express is one of my favorite places. The food feels and tastes very authentic. The veg noodle box is a value foe money and if you want to take this a step further you can try the meal box which i highly recommend.<br/>The sizzlers were amazing. I will highly recommend this place.

I hate eating at a food court, but kylin is a promoising place. Ordered a chilli paneer noodles sizzler and some chilli honey potatoes. It was fine 😑. Tasted just like fast food tastes. Do check this place if you are in the mall and you want to grab a quick bite.<br/>Service was ok quick.

One has to be really selective with the items in the menu.... I ordered a red thai curry with sticky rice tasted like mortien or hit, even their combo meals are total waste of money overall a slightly overpriced outlet

Since I am dimsum lover . I had this amazing platter of veg dimsums, they had served it along with sweet chilli sauce and burnt chilli sauce. 8 pieces of dimsums costed me ₹205 including the tax. I loved the taste. It is situated in the food court. The service was quick the staff were friendly.

Awesome delicious food, & their service is right on time!.....I went there with friends and we tried both veg & non-veg box noodles 🍝...Food is so tasty, we are looking forward to next visit.

Totally dissappointed. Ordered non veg meal super deluxe combo. The noodles were tasteless. Even the schezuan chicken had some different kind of smell. Couldn't even eat the whole food. I know myself my money got wasted. Will never ever recommend.

Visiting kylin express and not having honey chilli patatoes is like breathing without air so the thing is I like going there just to have honey chilli patato.

I'm a Chinese food lover and this place was everything that I wanted it to be, food was amazing and DimSum were delicious.  I didn't get a chance to sit at the live kitchen counter but it's definitely on the to-do list.

Now this is a place which is not par excellence but then it is so thoroughly consistent that you’d wanna visit it again and again. A great menu, scrumptious food, good ambience and we are all set to go. Will be visiting again...

I came across kylin express at the food court and being a dimsum lover I wanted to try their dimsums since I haven't.So I ordered chilly garlic veg.<br/><br/>The momos tasted delicious.It had good amount of filling and were made perfectly.The filling was spicy as mentioned and the dips along with it were also amazing.I simply loved the burnt garlic dip.The dimsums from the outside were rightly cooked,the layer wasn't too thick nor too thin or sticky.There were 8 pieces in one plate which were big in size and quite fulfilling.After a long time I had a good plate of dimsums and couldn't find any single fault.<br/><br/>They turned out to be above my expectations.Perfectly cooked dimsums with quick service.A little expensive but the taste is good and Quantity is also good.I'm surely gonna be a regular at them and would also like to try their other Chinese dishes!

I went to this express counter and had a Veg Manchurian gravy. The Veg Manchurian Gravy was average. The gravy was okay okay. The balls were small and I don’t think that the price of this dish is justified. According to me, not at all. I would suggest everyone to try some other dish.

Since now I'm exploring more choices for chinese food, I'm very selective with the restaurant choice as I don't want to spoil my love for Chinese and Thai cuisine. <br/><br/>Recently, I tried Delux Combo which includes Vegetable Hakka Noodles, Spring Roll, Chilli Paneer Gravy and a glass of Pepsi at Kylin Express (Food Court - Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj). The noodles are not that fine if I keep in mind the aspect of authentic chinese food but yes the quality is really good. Gravy is according to how you want so I ordered less spicy and I was served perfectly well. Spring Roll was as crispy as it should be and the taste was giving an authentic touch of Thai food. <br/><br/>Will surely visit again :)

The ambience is good as it is one of the famous outlets in the food court of ambience mall, Vasant Kunj. Kylin express serves a great variety of chinese eatables. Various combos are available to provide the items at a reasonable price. The taste can be a bit better but it is worth a try ofcourse.

Service is quite poor and you shouldn’t expect a prompt response from the staff in here. The food is very okay and the ambience is decent. The live kitchen is definitely an attraction of this place. A very average place.

Have dined in Kylin twice. Good ambience. Sushi is also good. If you are a sushi newbie then this is a good place to start. Food is good and drinks ( nonalcoholic) are also decent. A bit expensive though. Quantity is good. A nice experience.

Nice chinese on the go. Good combo meals. Value for money. The hakka noodles are really good especially for kids if you ask them to make it plain not spicy.

Worst experience ever! We took a noodles combo which had chilly paneer, spring roll, manchurian, chilly paneer and honey chilly potatoes. The noodles had a stale smell and even worse taste! The spring rolls were hideous and hence we didnt even taste the rest. We went back to the counter to return it and they said there is no refund policy and that we had to take smtn. When we refused, he made us wait another 20 mins at the counter before we actually screamed at him and then got a refund. Not at all recommended!

I've tried two times from kylin express and the experience was from low to okay. The dishes don't seem to be authentic and the taste was just okay.<br/>Removed it from my list of Chinese restaurants.

Kylie express is the fastest and I would say economical version of kylin in the food court. The food tastes good and time they take for preparing is very less which is really good. We had sizzler and manchurian was very well prepared

Nice Chinese food... loved the platter. Quantity is good and quality of food is amazing... if you are confused about what to order try platter it has all the Chinese items. So you can eat so many items at a time....

This is a place to have a sizzler I have had thier food so many times and not one time was I disappointed thier spice is just appropriate and their noodles and veg dipped in a hot gravy sauce with the right amount of spice I ordered their prawn sizzler which was very good a must try if you like sizzlers.

Ordered there mix bowl of veg noodles and shrimp noodles and they didn't let down with the most juicy shrimp pieces and as always they give you the best and authentic noodle Kylin experience , the only downside being is at a food court and no place to sit down 😅 the staff was very courteous never had eaten from this outlet so they do make everything a bit spicy which I love and overall a great experience ✌️

I had a meal chicken bowl with basil flavor is an excellent dish with soft chicken mince nice falvor, dish was very authentic and the staff was very cool, if u r at ambience vasant u must visit for a quick bite at a reasonable price with great ambience.

Food was below average nothing great. Ordered Kung Pao paneer and bang bang angry chicken. Very less quantity of chicken and gravy . Rice was like very cheap quality according to price it wasn't a worth deal at all. So not enjoyed my meal at all So disappointed.

It’s a nice outlet if you want to try some quick Chinese options. We wanted to have some nice Chinese flavours so ordered from this outlet in ambience mall, Vasant kunj. Tried their chicken Sui mai dimsums and honey crispy chicken and I must say that the food was indeed delicious and we enjoyed the meal a lot. I just found the quantity to be bit less as compared to the price. Otherwise the food quality was amazing

My comfort place. <br/>Whenever I am craving a red thai curry, kylin is what I go for, it’s no fuss and a filling meal. <br/>I like both the veg and the non veg varients. <br/>The Chinese they serve is pretty nice too. <br/>

My favourite thing here is the Minced Chicken Chilli Basi. Somehow though I ordered it again and it wasn’t as good. They are random. But decent food!

Am surprised that this comes in at 2.7 stars. Absolutely love the sizzlers at this joint. Even brought two colleagues from Africa who had come for a seminar and treated them to sizzlers. It was quite a treat to see them take that first mouthful and watch their eyes roll from the heat though they later assured me it was form how tasty the food was :-) <br/>Have always wanted to take some snaps but by the time I remember, the food is half over.  Service is great and food is served fast. Would get more visitors if the price came down though the food is more than ample for the price.

Its good place to eat chinese cuisine in Ambience mall Vasant Kunj.I especially loved there chinese platter combo.Its one in all combo in a single plate from honey chilly potatos,manchurian,spring roll and chilly paneer.You can choose between noodle or rice which is also included in the same plate.Found the delivery time a little slow,but rest is good.

Was there for the Avengers....<br/>A bit hungry so decided to go the the food court<br/><br/>For a change I was in a mood to have some Chinese <br/><br/>I ordered a Dimsum and a Crystal Dimsum ( they call it something else) <br/>I thought I had ordered one veg and one chicken but I was billed for both Chicken. I could be my mistake also .... not sure <br/><br/>both the items were good and i liked the chilli paste also .....I wish they had accepted my request to pack the leftover .... I have always been a big fan of their meal bowls. Though they have stopped a few yet it their rice bowl meals are fulfilling, pocket friendly and suoer tasty.<br/>

They offer various varieties of Chinese cuisines. But among all, I love their Thai Spring roll & Schezwan veggie sizzler. Good in hygiene as well as taste too. :)

We visited kylin and I ordered sizzlers( prawn and Chilli chicken), to be honest I excepted more from Kylin, it was not bad in taste, but I have had way better than this, so the comparisons come automatically, the prawns were a bit soggy and the Chilli chicken added to it was a mistake, please do justice to the prices of the food <br/><br/>

we ordered veg corn soup, hot & sour soup, veg & Non-veg bowl.<br/>Soups were very bad full of salt and tasteless. when i told them he argued that they dont put salt....! shocking....<br/>Bowls were below average.<br/>non veg bowl had just 2 small pieces of chicken......too bad at that money.....

Tried the Chinese dish after long time and it came out to be at great place. Ordered chicken hot garlic sizzler bowl which was really nice and perfect for two persons to have and add on spring rolls where also nice.

Food quantity is not much but okish. Staff is frequently changing there need to up a notch a bit in food floavour it used to be very good back but it's just good now not bad but good.

@I went today with my friends which i had great time their such a wonderful food. We ordered chilli paneer and honey chilli potato, some moms and fried rice. Despite such low rating, I went there to give a try.<br/>I tried Kylin Express Bowl Meal - Veg Hot Garlic with Hakka Noodles. I found it good enough to match the taste of authentic chinese. This outlet is famous for chinese and thai food and they did full justice to it. Hakka Noodles were non spicy with chilly garlic gravy which was full of veggies(Broccoli, Baby corn, Carrot and many more). <br/>Overall my first experience with it was good!<br/><br/>P.S. It will be good if they add more vegetarian dishes in the menu, kind of more veggies in different sauces or something. Would love to experiment that also!

Messed up service. Ordered vegetarian and they gave non-vegetarian. All these guys have to say is sorry. Then, I am told it’s your mistake!! Read the bill you guys gave me - it also clearly mentions veg

Been to this place after rigorous shopping in ambience mall if vasant kunj. <br/>They have a lot of options to offer in chinese . Being a chicken lover i picked up my all time favourite chicken lollipop and one of their hoghly recommended hong kong noodles with curry. <br/><br/>The food was delicious, only disappointing thing is the quantity. <br/>Lollipop was amazing. Hot and crispy and really fresh. <br/>Noodles were okayish in taste also as well as in quantity. <br/><br/>Still once you can try if you are also chicken lover and that too good starters!

Take too much time. It's not exactly express. We got our order after 15mins of wait, so be it. I tried their schezwan dimsums. There was nothing extra ordinary about them since they are from Kylin. But I enjoyed them, and won't pay that much for the dimsums which I could get anywhere in Delhi ! Although my friends who are not from Delhi, enjoyed them so points for that. Also tried their sushi, since that was the first time I had sushi, I did not enjoy that concept at all. I would give this place a miss, next time.

I recently ordered a honey chilli potato from Kylin express. The portion size was satisfactory. The taste was really good. The balance of sweet and hot flavors are a hall mark of Chinese food which were captured really well by their honey chilli potatoes. It's a must try

I came across this joint at palate festival and I tried veg Hakka noodles in box. The taste was ok but seemed a bit dry.service was quick and staff polite.

Awesum Chinese restaurant. This restaurant is a must try. I have ordered varieties of momos, sushi, noodle, fried rice and chicken curry. All the items are distinctive in taste which is seldom seen in any Chinese restaurant these days.

I cannot remember the last time I had such worthless, tasteless and messed up Chinese food. I was in the food court of Ambience mall Vasant Kunj and for some extremely sad reason chose to eat at this outlet. The combo that I ordered came with two starters, two main courses, a rice/ noodles and a drink. Not a bad deal at all! But the moment you delve into the food you realize that all that you spent is going, gone and gone for good! <br/><br/>Starters <br/>1. Honey chilli potato - rubbery and smelling of cheap oil<br/>2. Spring Roll - surprisingly edible but only 1 piece is served (that's right, a small piece)<br/>Main Course<br/>1. Veg Manchurain - more like mushy veg balls in burnt garlic brown gravy with very high salt content<br/>2. Some kind of red curry - extremely bad in taste not sure what it exactly was<br/>Noodles <br/>1. Veg noodles - Cold, rubbery, no salt at all tasted like eating shoe laces <br/>Drink<br/>1. Tasteless Bland food, A big black spot on the name of chinese/ oriental cuisine. We were served Watery chicken gravy and undercooked fried rice along with spring rolls that were full of oil! Not recommended at all.

Prompt service but taste wise, not better than the rival Chinese food chains. <br/><br/>I ordered hakka noodles and monchow soup. While noodles were okay, the soup just tasted weird. They definitely need to do more taste testing.

This place in DLF promenade food court is great for some Chinese food combos. <br/>The combos are both in veg and non-veg and can be changed accordingly. <br/>I personally like their chilly garlic noodles and spring rolls. The spring rolls are worth a try. They are great in taste and quality. Though quantity is an issue here. <br/>

Kylin express is located on the 3rd floor of Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj. This food point is mainly for chinese cuisines. It serves combos of both veg and non veg items, rice bowls etc. I ordered a non-veg combo of noodles, chicken in schewan sauce and spring roll. Food was tasty and fresh. Chicken pieces was soft and delicious. But, Kylin express is a little expensive food point as compared to other food joints who serves chinese food.

Order :<br/><br/>Minced Chicken basil with sticky rice -<br/>perfect sweet and savory bowl, had a strong star anise flavour and sticky rice which are rarely seen on the menus, elevated it to an another level.<br/><br/>Chicken Dimsums-<br/> <br/>not the best ones i had. Dough was thin but the filling was not well seasoned.

It was a chance I took to order the food from here and that chance has led me to be a sort of a regular here. The staff is good and quick, as expected. The food is amazing, at least in cent percent of the cases when i have ordered, so no ill wills. <br/>The Bowl Meals are a quick grab and they are a delight to have. My fav. is Chicken Kung Pao. I ordered a meal the last time and it turned out to be just as good. The Thai curry tasted the best. So whether you have time or not go grab something from here.

Kylin has never disappointed when it comes to Chinese/Asian foods. Dimsums were great, kung pao paneer bowl was just perfect. <br/><br/>Very few outlets that provide good Chinese food. Kylin is one of them. Will recommend for sure

I am a very regualar to vasant kunj.. basically most of the stuff is good. A minute ago i order tom yum soup and carried away to home.. it was quite disappointing to see just a clear warm water with two three diffrent vegies and few pieces of chicken. Will have a second taught to have again

I went in there on a Sunday.<br/>I understand there was rush due to weekend.<br/>But if you compromise quality with quantity then sorry but you're very low on my scale.<br/>The food was cold and so was the staff.<br/>We ordered a meal.<br/>It included<br/>Springroll<br/>Chilly potatoes<br/>Veg Manchurian<br/>Noodles<br/><br/>Firstly i asked for honey chilly they simply ignored it and gave mein chilly potatoes.<br/>Secondly it took them almost 25minutes<br/>And the worst part is the food was cold.<br/>Overall a pretty bad experience<br/><br/>

I read a small review on So Delhi, and decided I had to go here. Have to say, I was surprised. A small food court joint producing such delectable meals. One plate of honey chilli potatoes, one plate of noodles, schezwan sauce with veggies and a can of Coca-Cola. It was so good! <br/>All that was for Rs. 515, with a decent serving. <br/>Loved it!

Pathetic food taste and even more miserable was the hospitality.<br/><br/>I would rather rate it just .5 but sadly there isn't such a rating.<br/><br/>I ordered for a combo and they only had two options in the curry, vegetables in schezwan sauce and the other being, Thai curry.<br/>I went with the limited choices.<br/><br/>Next, I was almost about to order the non-vegetarian platter with the same limited choices, one of them again being in the schezwan sauce, when my mom complained that the schezwan sauce was terribly over the top spicy and extremely hot.<br/><br/>I complained the same to the area manager Mr. Negi, who gave a very rude reply saying they have no solution, could not be of any help and showed no courtesy and concern for their very own mistake.<br/><br/>Since, he was all helpless, my mom beared and had the same sauce and fell sick for the following two days.

It was a nice experience. The staff was very helpful and courteous and great service.  We tried the sizzlers and the dish is value for money.

Kylin is famous for authentic chinese food. Apparently, kylin express is a smaller version of kylin fine dining restaurant. You can get both in ambience mall food court. But, i planned to gave this express version a try.<br/><br/>Portions : i ordered a plate of veg dimsums which costed almost 150 bucks. I got exactly 5 pieces of dimsums which comes out to be 30 bucks for each piece of dimsum. Hence, quantity should not be expected from this place.<br/><br/>Taste : To be very frank, though i didnt like dimsums much. I loved the paneer noodles platter. It was juicy, spicy and was enough to kill my chinese cravings.<br/><br/>Overall, i think it is an expensive place and you should only visit this place if you are looking to satisfy your chinese cravings and not your tummy.<br/><br/>Cheers!

I had ordered a super deluxe combo here which consisted of Thai chicken curry, chilli chicken, veg noodles , spring rolls and coke... food was below average. Chilli chicken was tasteless. Rolls were too hard. Noodles were bland. Only Thai chicken curry was ok. Okay so I'm not sure why this place has such poor reviews but I've had the khao suey 2 times from here and both the times it was really good. <br/>Forget the meat and the noodle, the gravy itself can be eaten only, it's that good. Highly recommended if you like khao suey!

Like the theme and ambience of this place. Totally tasty food.Must try.love its Noodles and Dumpling.<br/>Staff is also warming and friendly. environment of the place is very elegant.

This place serves some nice Chinese dishes. We tried their chilly chicken  which was amazing in taste . We also ordered schzwan prawns with Hakka noodles taste is great and service boy excellent .Great work and keep it up.i love kylin food

Gone for lunch with the friends at ambiance mall food court TODAY at 1.15 and order meal bowl kung pao chicken and minced chicken with rice .<br/>                   Awesome taste and excellence service the food dispenser is friendly <br/>                   will visite soon

Lethargic, pathetic, bad and stale food. Takes infinity to give. It's meant to be a take away but takes long time. Bad experience, not recommended
