After shifting in the vicinity I was looking for a place that serves good mix veg & dal and my friend , who recommended this place , was not wrong. The owner knows his objective. Food is brilliant (the one I order). Reasonable and fills you well.
This outlet has been there since ages and one thing that is distinctive is its consistency. Food is good specially Dal Makhani, shahi paneer, kadi pakora which is my favourite here... this market has some of the best nonveg food joints and in between all of them they are doing good business ..
One and only dhabha which serves vegeterian in the clusters of Non-veg food in the DDA market on Jail road. The place is little over priced but the food is just amazing , I love thier food, Veg kebab and muishroom tikka is a must try.

Been going to this place for more then 20 years this place has never disappointed me , this place has the best vegetarian food in delhi , no add on flavors , the food quality and taste is like professionally home cooked food , i will keep visiting this place
One of the best vegetarian dhaba in delhi, awesome kadhai paneer u cannot resist. Rest of the stuff is ok ok. Only problem is it is surrounded by all non veggie dhabas so vegetarians may not like the place because of the smell.
Food is yummy, also customer service is very good.
Food is spicy and tasty, quantity is very good if ypu are visit the place with family. Just place is not good to sit and heat due to so much polluted air
This is the best Vegetarian Dhaba in West Delhi. No doubts. Their ingredients are fresh and the spice is mild. I have been eating here since 1992 i.e. for the past 25 years. They put more butter sometimes. The ambience can be improved, but it is the same as in other dhabas in Delhi. Of particular interest are:- Mixed Vegetable; Dal Makhni; Stuffed Parathas and Lachcha Paratha. I recommend that. The pricing is a little high compared to some cheaper dhabas, but the food is definitely worth it. The Roti is wonderful. If you are a Vegetarian, or would like to eat vegetarian food, I will certainly recommend this place.

Usually my order stays the same i.e Dal Makhni , soya chaap and shahi paneer.
Dal Makhni tastes great and the best that I have came across. Shahi paneer and soya chaap are also great and tasty.
Tandoori rotis are also good and crispy.
Dal Makhni is a must try.

Pure veg dhaba located on jail road adjoining Kohli Chicken/Pul bangash chicken. They also have seating space in open for families. Regular customer from past 10+yrs. Quality is consistent, packaging is fine. Price is for sure at higher side. Dal makhani, dal tadka, mix veg, malai kofta are food items which are my favourite from this dhaba. They also serve veg tandoori snacks like paneer tikka, soya champ and mushroom. Along with tandoori breads, tawa roti also available.

Best Vegetarian hole in a wall, takeaway or home delivery in Janakpuri. I have been visiting this place for over 20 years and quality is always consistent. I generally order Paneer Tikka and Yellow Daal and it works all the time. Yesterday's order was quick took only 15 minutes from scratch to finish. Best part is his vegetables on the Paneer Tikka Seekh. Magical and rarely they are over cooked.
Good place to order for home delivery and pure vegetarian food if one is vegeterian. Their dal makhni is amazing and not too pricey and worth the amount

My craving for dal makhanI with some missi rOtis introduced me to this restaurant cum dhaba which is satisfying taste buds of foodies since 1979.so I ordered panner butter masala, dal makhani butter naans and missi roti.BTM was more like paneer bhurji but tasted damn good .the dal makhani if could've been more creamy would be the best I would have ever had still it was a delicacy.although it is termed as dhaba but prices are more like a restaurant -220for BTW.also they charged 30 rs for delivering just within 1 km which I didn't find justifiable.
Had been ordering food regularly from this place and the quality is same for years. The food is pure veg and tastes the way a punjabi food, tastes in punjab. Proper blend of spices, neither too oily nor too spicy.
Having food from here since my childhood and the taste of food have remained the same all along.

Dal makhani,shahi paneer and butter naan have always been my favourite....and not to forget the lache vaale pyaaz with awesome green chutney..

Deepak Vaishno Dhaba is a good place for North Indian food. As for my taste, I've had many food items from here. The shahi paneer is the best in my opinion.We order it once a week and the price you pay for the food is worth it. All snacks are great but the seating arrangement isn't that attractive so in my opinion, you should get a take away order and enjoy the food at home.

its a great product and i will recommend all to buy it. just make sure to make the atta dough sticky. otherwise it wont be able to make those round rotis.good product nicely packed and great seller, timely despatch as per committed.

A very regular and normal restaurant located in Janak Puri - West Delhi. Been more than 15 years since I have been eating here without even a single complaint in Food items. Have tried almost everything here. Decor is pretty simple and its an open restaurant with simple seating area.
Food - Taste of dishes they serve is just too good. Proper flavor of spices and aroma. Tempting.
Best dishes - Dal Makhni, Kadhai Paneer, Paneer Butter Masala, Boondi Raita, Missi Rotti.
Do try all these items. Best place to have dal makhani.
Go earn some calories :-)

A simple yet very nice eating joint in west delhi. I have been eating vegetarian food here since last 10 years and surprisingly the taste and quality has not changed a bit. The kadhai paneer served here is very different as compared to other places comprising of paneer keema along with cubes. Dal Makhni, Kadi Pakoda and Mashroom Tikka are must have. Overall a must try if u are looking for pure vegetarian food in west delhi.
I have been eating at this dhaba for last 15 years. This is one of the best pure vegetarian dhaba in West Delhi. I order for Kadi Pakoda, Dal Makhani and Mix veg for home dilvery every other week. Kadi pakoda of this dhaba is best in class. The place is crowded coz there are so many non vegetarian dhabas and restuarants are nearby this pure veg dhaba. Visit this at least once in your life to try Kadi Pakoda, Dal Makhani, Mix veg and Shahi paneer along with pudina butter naan which is crispy from outside and soft from inside. You will simply love it. In just 400 Rs. you can eat all these, this is a real value for money dhaba

Had another outing but not so good this time. Got Malai Chap Tikka which was tasteless, absolutely no taste. Also had Cheese Chilly which was made in a completely desi manner, had curry in dry Cheese Chilly and they used raw paneer rather than fried in cornflour. So it was evident they had no clue what to do with it.
Still, whatever it was, good part is it tasted good. But then that is not how Cheese Chilly is done. Didn't like Chana Masala and Tawa Chaap also, again Chana Masala had no taste and Tawa Chaap was done in Shahi Paneer gravy, paneer replaced with Chaap.
I guess if I go again, I would stick to the things I had earlier.

I have been seeing this place for more than 7 years now and it is always crowded even though it is cramped between non veg biggies like Kohli and Manjeet. People who eat here always prefer eating here in case they want vegetarian place.
Please do not expect an ambiance, this is a market area which has open seating, though it's safe for families and women since it is always crowded. Try Dal Makhani which is amazing and delicious, KadI Pakora and Rajma are also something I tried on my last recent outing and both were amazing.
Parathas were extremely good, medium sized and thankfully made from Atta and not Maida. Prices are quite decent and we had a lavish meal in under 500 bucks.
Used to be a frequent visitor to this place during my college days... went there today after a long period of time.. and trust me the place still remains almost the same.. good pure veg food served hot.. though i wud say its a bit over priced.. but at the end of the day , satisfying our taste buds is all we desire..!! Right?

Although it is surrounded with other non vegetarian dhaba's I'm surprised to see that vegetarian people actually love eating here!

Now where do i start, its the most awsome dhaba food i've had for a long time. Totally a hidden jem because i live not too far from this place for last 20 years and only noticed this because of its excellent zomato ratings. I would generally pass from this place because i am a veggie and most of the other places are famous for non-veg.
Hidden among those is this veggie gem. To start the most humble waiters core to the heart and not just acting that way. Totally amazing saag and missi roti alongwith other veggie delicacies. Good point its non greesy and totally light on tummy. They did all they could to make our food even better. Deserves a 110 and hence a 5
sooooper yummy veg biryani, dal makhani, pindi chana, gobhi aallu... its a simple glorious heaven for vegetarians... I know frens who come all the way from far of places to get food packed from here.. its recommended for a take away or home delivery... I have actually never been here but had home delivery food a lot...
All time favorite dhaba.. they must have increased atleast 20 KG's of my weight.
Have lots of memories.. apart from one of the tastiest food I have had.
Khoya Paneer, Dal Makhni and Butter naan is a must have over here and has been an all time favorite for our group and team em up with a Pudina naan / Parantha.
Also find the place and time to try the Navrattan Korma. Kadhai Paneer or Jeera rice but keep those the later visits.
The veg deluxe thaliis also a HIT if you are alone and would not be able to eat so much.
One of the bet shahi paneer in the area.
You can eat your hearts out here.. with no guilt and easy on pocket.

5 Star for the taste of Food but 2 star for cleanliness. Complete Veg menu with affordable price. not that cheap though, they serve the most delicious and authentic food here. The quantity you get totally compensates the price you pay for.
I tried Missi Roti Thali here and it was finger licking good, daal makhani being the best. I also loved the onion salad with green chutney so much. Excellent Food.
The staffs were also not seeming to maintain good hygiene but my luck they were so careful about hygiene while they were serving me and I loved that. Cooperative and quick!

This place has good food and best in the area. If you are pure vegetarian and do not eat from non vegetarian dhabas then this is the place to go. Pricing is a bit expensive if compared to local dhabas but the quality is worth it. Although I still.miss their old lacha paranthas which were dark brown and super soft but the food is fine.
Nice seating area. Good option for Veg choice among lots of Non veg shops. Staff is co-pearative. Onion salad with green chutney, wow, it's best.

Over the years I have tried a number of places for food, but no place is as good as this one. The spice is balanced, the ingredients are all fresh, the taste is not harsh. The conditions in the Dhaba are as per the other Dhabas in Delhi. The negative point is that, while this Dhaba is 100% Vegetarian, it is surrounded by other Non-Veg Dhabas. Excellent Mixed Vegetable and Rotis and Stuffed Parathas. The mint chutney is wonderful. The paneer used is very soft. Full marks.
With the rising price n quality war in the vicinity, dvd has been forced to slash prices by almost 40% flat across its menu..its actually reached realistic levels now...
Nice place to dine with family or friends.... or even alone.... here one can bring young kids.... mouth watering veg food at very affordable price. Must try ....
