This is how an outlet differs from others in terms of taste. Ordered Paneer do Pyaza and Butter tandoori roti. Paneer do Pyaza was just remarkable and not like any other outlet Paneer do Pyaza. It was buttery, creamy and at the same time not much spicy and suitable for all age groups.
The disadvantage with this outlet is its sitting area and less quantity as compared to price. Overall it's a simple outlet with good food.
This is the place where we visit when we are dining out on a tight budget. The food is tasty and good. The place is nothing fancy or comfy, this is just a regular dining place with good food. Service is fast and price is very cheap.
I have been going to Shere Punjab from past 4-5 years, this has been a go to place for us as and when we are craving desi Punjabi khana and our budgets were tight.
Here's what all we have eaten here.
1. Tandoori chicken - succulent perfectly cooked chicken pieces served with delicious chutney on side, surely my favourite dish.
2. Peeli daal tadka - okay, if you are a daal fan, their daal tadka is amazing! Loaded with onion garlic and Hari mirchi. Yum
3. Butter chicken - it's buttery perfect on spice and chicken pieces are juicy, quantity is generous
4. Lachha Parantha, tandoori roti, butter naan trust me every bread is super fresh, soft and perfectly cooked.
5. Seekh kabab - most of the restaurant serve over spicy seekh kabab but they know how to make it right.
The pricing is also on point not too costly not too low. If you're a group of friends go ahead and enjoy their delicious food.

Simple, tasty food. Not the usual onion and cream generic gravies. Don't understand the complaints regarding service. Very, very quick delivery. More importantly, they are scrupulously honest. I had given a 2k note instead of a 500. The owner sent it back and called me advising me to be more careful in future.
Simple food, generous serving and fair prices. It also has a decent sitting area. I ordered, Chicken Achari Tikka and Garlic Naan, both of which were quite satisfactory.
A decent Punjabi joint in kalkaji. Me and my friends ordered lemon chicken full, lassi, chaas, rotti and naan. The lemon chicken was above average and the quantity was good enough for three people. Rotti and naan were excellent. Lassi and chaas were also great. I am yet to have a full impression of this place so should try out more dishes in coming days. Another cons is the waiting time. It's just too much, we waited for almost 30mins to get the food.
Would recommend if you are in or around kalkaji.
Every time a memorable Indian experience. The service and hospitality reminds us of traditional punjabi khatir. Must try butter chicken and garlic naan with their complementary onion salad.

Best place to order in from in c.r.park and kalkaji. The food quality is great and so are the portions. If on a budget, look no further. New shere Punjab will not disappoint.

A dhaba open since childhood.. same taste and same recipe.... Although didn't had many options then in 80s-90s. So a good place back then....
Now the Delhiites taste has gone to another level... Must change accordingly....

We ordered from this place to just try out something new. A friend of my brother suggested this place, and it did not disappoint us. The quality and quantity was really nice. The taste was none-the-less tingling the tongue with its taste. Worth eating. The prices are reasonable. We ordered a variety of breads woth dal makhani and kadhai paneer, and the quantity of good enough for th entire family. The prices were rather less as compared to other restaraunts around kalkaji area and still the quantity was more.
Bahut hi vadiya khaana banate hain...u should try it atleast once..pure family restaurant .. Paneer butter masala is vry good..party ke lie best hai
One of the best places to eat in Delhi. Superb food best quality one of the best guys making food 3 generations are involved just can say it's wow wow wow! Mouth watering food!
So this rating is just and just for the taste of food they serve. Breads nicely baked and clean. I tried there veg only yet and all of them were mouth watering and giving true punjabi tadka to it. Thumbs up.

The sitting and ambiance is simple but clean, so is the serving style. But if you want amazingly tasty non vegetarian food, you should definitely go here. Not only is the food very tasty and well prepared, the quantity is also generous.

Shere punjab dhaba in kalakaji is famous for its nonveg. Its very pocket friendly and simple outlet nothing special in ambience simple table chairs. Servicing style is also simple. Staff is just ok. But taste of the food is appreciable its yummy. I had here garlic naan and butter chicken(boneless) i must say at the price they offer the quality is a thumbs up. I will visit here again for snacks . I have given 1 point extra just for taste.

Nice place to visit for paranthas, everything else is fine but the pranthas are really nice. They make tandoori paranthas which is great as less oil is used and then they make amazing gobhi parantha. Aaloo parantha is fine too. Ambiance is alright, service is great.

When my parents first moved to south Delhi more than two decades back, this place used to serve some of the best possible north Indian food both veg as well as non veg. I remember my younger days when this was a modest place in terms of ambiance but absolutely top drawer in terms of the food quality. I fell in love with Palak Paneer due to this place.
Yet the present generation has not kept up the good name. Service quality has gone down and food portions are lesser. Ambiance has improved at the cost of the nuts-&-bolts food.
Awsum is the word. Had amazing food after long time. Tastes pretty well and specially hospitality which you get in this dhaba . A must for all non veg foodies.
Full marks for value for money, and more for the taste. I read some reviews about hygiene. They do everything in front of you it's like a living room non swanky, but surely not unhygienic.

The Afghani chicken perfectly cooked with flavours not laden with unnecessary cream etc. The Rara mutton awesome. Gluten free bread -missi roti. My day was made. After many expensive horrible meals at famous places, this place is safe and never disappoints.

Remember this from my NIIT kalkaji days. Place used to be cheap and one of the only few affordable option to offer a proper meal back in the day. Dal fry with tandoori roti is the best.

God what kind of a gem they are in making some north indian delicacies.... i would recommed this for any one passing by deshbandu feeling hungry to gorge on something they could drop in here for sure.... u would find yourself satisfied to the core... with decent expense here.... not very costly but okay to the kind of taste they deliver in.... my experience is bout dropping here unfortunately and surprised with great delicacies provided here.... better than any dhabha around....
Being a graduate from near by Deshbandhu College, I always wanted to eat in this Dhaba.. But got chance one day with my professor. The food is very good. It gives you a feel of very rustic regular dhaba. Service too was quick and ambiance is not there suite and those who go there are also not looking for it. They just want good tasting food and affordable rate and yes it hits that spot perfectly.
My survival is majorly based on this place. Easy on stomach and quality of food have made this place as conventional place to order food. Tried every dish on the menu and trust me it all tastes authentic. For a visit, it has a simple dhaba type facility with no A.C. but always peaceful before we enter. Would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Non-veg was very good but no A/C not very hygienic the cold drink was served in glass bottle instead of plastic bottle or glass if anyone goes there take a sanitizer with them for good non-veg I will give 3.5
This place gets 5/5 in cleanliness. Till so far we have tasted Butter chicken (4.5/5), Chicken curry (4/5), Murg methi malai (4/5), Karahi chicken (4.5/5), Shahi Paneer (4/5), Adraki Paneer (4.5/5), Paneer butter masala (5/5) and lachha paratha (3.5/5), pudina paratha (3.5/5), garlic naan (4/5) and makki roti (4/5)... this would be the best value for money place, to cater your traditional taste buds :) , and one of the most neat & clean restaurant in South Delhi.
best part about this dhaba is location and service. initially i was not so sure to enter place by looking it from outside but one day i could not resist my self.
obviously i tried veg food. panner kali mirch, alu gobi & mashrrom masala. generally i avoid paneer in delhi but this paneer dish (gravy) was really tasty, first time i had something like that. others items were also good with moderate oil. i enjoyed this in my debut.
since then, shere punjab has become my regular take away. their home delivery is also quite good, i receive it exactly within 30 mins. till now i have almost covered veg domain of the resto and satisfied with it.
i am sure non veg will also be yummy, this much you need to trust, after all its punjabi dhaba.

Their Price are so reasonable and I love their Shahee Paneer and Butter Naan a Lot.

I'm a strictly chicketerian but dammn i wanted to have some vegetarian food that day so i took a gamble on the menu of sher e punjab dhaba n boy i wasn't disappointed the dal makhani was also superfine nd i really loved it........

very decent 'north indian khana' at prices that are entirely affordable. nice staff, we've known them generations now (dad used to visit this place when he was a student in the early eighties. good for delivery and take away, although they've expanded seating too. quality has been pretty consistent, and your complaints (like dal mein namak kam hai and all) are always heeded.

I've loved the Shahee paneer of here. I would recommend it for simple and tasty punjabi food. Also cheap n hygienic. I order from this restaurant every once in a while, that the delivery guys have started to recognize me.
Once while in the restaurant, his owner told us that "he wants to make delicious punjabi food just like the proper food in Amritsar. And personally he takes care to make this possible. Everyday.." And he has done it very well..

Our sardar driver took us to this small Hotel. We were really hungry by 3pm. Initially we didnt have any expectations. But once food was served we were amazed. It was wonderful. Tasty and neat.....They should improve the hand washing area. Tasty tasty tasty...and it didn't upset our stomach.
