I used to love Spago. It used to be a favourite for lunch, dinner for years. I visited Spago recently. We ordered the: Feta salad Tomato and mozzarella salad Arancini risotto balls Tomato bruschetta Farmhouse pizza Tomato risotto The warm fudge cake with vanilla ice cream The restaurant has about 12 tables but the service is horrible. We had to wait to receive a menu, wait to receive water. Nobody came to clear the tables and it took so much time for someone to just listen to our order. The portions are really tiny for the prices you pay. Overall it's okay to visit once.

Hi guys a few days back I went you for a lunch with my friends. It was an amazing place where you can come with your friends and have a hangout. The environment is very cosy and ambience is beautiful. The staff take care of every customer need. We had tried their lots of food and beverages. The quality and quantity of food is very sufficient to fulfill your hunger. Presentation and taste it just mind blowing. I highly recommend to try their pizzas and their desserts.

All dishes were delicious and well presented. The service was quick and fast. The was awesome and calm . The Seating waa good and nice. The staff is friendly and obeying. It's an Italian restaurant serving best quality of food and drinks. They have a lot of options in mocktails, pizza, pasta and desserts etc. All are in Italian way and this is what i liked here. I have tried their cheese pasta, cheese garlic bread, pizza, desserts and some mocktails. All are really good in taste and well presented. ambience of this restaurant is really awesome. ample space available to eat and have fun. The names of all the dishes are in italian so I confused at the time of ordering but they helped me to understand. 😄

Tried an authentic Italian restaurant. Ambiance was fabulous. Seating was very comfortable. View from the restaurant was very nice. Totally Italian vibes, cozy vibes. We ordered different pizzas,pasta, salad and drinks I ordered watermelon mojito and sangria freddo. Sangria was very amazing. Ceazer salad was very delicious, pizzas was fabulous. Totally loved everything. Much recommended.

It is a very beautiful place. The food here is also very good. The service is also very good. The seating is also well maintained. Cleanliness and food is also very tasty. I ate the Veg Pizza Pasta Lasagna here which I found very tasty and was very flavorful, fresh and well cooked.

TL/DR: My parents haven't eaten out in over 6 months and they LOVED the dining experience.<br/><br/>Spago has its own elaborate packaging that separates the dishes along with sides, packs extra bread with every thing and tops up the food with little delights like complementary green olive tapenade that one would only expect in the restaurant.<br/>I wanted my parents to have as close an experience as possible to dining out, and that's what it was. The soups were phenomenal, the Ombrina fish was just rightly spiced, and the Pollo delivered exactly what it promised. Set a table with candles and some fancy dinnerware and have a restaurant-like meal at home. :)

For authentic italian food one should definitely try this place. The pasta and pizzas are drool worthy for the amount of cheese they put it in . The quality of ingredients used is really appreciated

As beautiful as this place is, the food here is equally delicious. I liked the desserts here and the thin crust pizza here. It is very tasty.

One of my all time favourite restaurant, specifically the leg of lamb is delectable and a scrumptious meal. They have a decent variety of wines to accompany some very well planned and prepared Italian dishes. The mashed potato side dish is always a pleasure to have...

One of the best place in greater kailash for chilling out with friends. If we talk about ambience then it is outstanding. Must visit with your friends/family/loved ones. Yesterday i visited this place in greater Kailash and it's one of the cool place for Italian food so I ordered one cranebull that have cranberry and redbull, one vegeteriana it's loaded with mushrooms, capsicum and cheese, one cold coffee, one watermalon mojito that have watermalon pieces,lemon, watermalon flavour with mint, one chicken breast pizza loaded in pizza base itself and it's very fluffy and I loved all these Italian styled food and the interior and decor is very pleasant and staff is just mind blowing and cool

This restaurant located in N Block Market of Greater Kailash - 1. This cafe with limited seating options has a very pretty ambience. They serve really delicious and authentic italian Cuisine. I tried many of them . But what i liked the most was the crisp base of the pizzas , their veg formagio was just too good in taste. Try their chocolate mud cake for a perfect conclusion.

Visited this here for lunch, the place has great ambiance with an overlooking view of the road and ground.The staff was courteous and the service was prompt . I ordered watermelon virgin mojito which was refreshing. I ordered L'atomica chicken pizza which was delicious and cheesy crust and rissoto fritters with mayonaisse. For the desert I had mousse d ciaccolato which was rich in chocolate and delight to mouth. Just loved this place and a must visit specially for Italian food.

Located in the N block market of GK1, Spago is a nice and soothing place for people who appreciate good Italian food.<br/><br/>The staff is really polite and provide a good insight of the food.<br/><br/>The place is not too big but makes for a really intimate ambience.<br/><br/>The food I tried was:<br/>1)Exotica Pizza- Stuffed well and not too cheesy, this thin crust pizza tasted really amazing.<br/>2)Ravioli Di Spinaci- Nice,thin rolled Pasta, stuffed with just the right amount of Spinach, fat and with a really good sauce to go along with it. Absolutely brilliant.<br/>3)Penne Verdure- Red Sauce pasta with a lot of veggies and a good portion size.<br/>4)Risotto Fritters- Small,stuffed balls that are a really good appetiser.<br/> <br/>In desert, I tried Torta Di Fango, which is a really good chocolate brownie style mud cake and a vanilla ice cream in a crunchy canopy. Terrible terrible service. From having us wait 30min even with prior booking (even when the restaurant was half empty) to poor service at the dinner table. The waiting staff wasn't even attempting for hospitality. This restaurant is just a cheap shot at fine dining with their over the top prices and sloppy attempt at authentic italian cuisine.<br/>If you're still going here, I suggest you stick to the free bread basket and the pizzas.

Yesterday I was at spago GK-1 with my friends as this place was recommended by someone for Italian delicacies. The place is beautiful and on first floor. It was different in terms of their seating arrangements wherein I liked their chairs style. It had light on one full area.<br/>Coming to food, we had<br/>- hot chocolate<br/>- pizza<br/>- tiramisu<br/>- one dessert which we had ordered was ultimate as it was damn different and unique. I loved it a lot. I dont remember the name but it had kalakand i.e it was more of a fusion.<br/>- mustard chicken<br/>- pasta<br/>All were different and good. The portion size of some were less which might be because of the bigger plates that they used for presentation. Overall, it was a good experience...

It's a very good restaurant with amazing ambience and the music in background is just mind blowing. The restaurants staff were also helped MI with what I add to order and what their specialities is.<br/><br/>So I ordered chicken pasta and margherita pizza. Chicken pasta was good enough and my little bit about the portion but a price there taking for it and the food quality and the taste is just outstanding and it is very much worthy in my opinion..<br/>And I am doing sex very very late as I already said the lighting and the dacor is outstanding.

Recently Visited this Beautiful Italian Restaurant with my friends , Had Exotic Pizza , Spagetti , Garlic Bread,Hot Chocolate , Mocktails , White Sauce Pasta and Lasagna and these all things were superyumm, Staff Was Courteous and Ambiance of this place is literally flawless , Also we had dessert here Like Tiramisu etc and it was scrumptious 😍 Recommend you guys to visit this place supersoon

Beautiful place and interior with nice food...its soo much of a classy place that u will feel royal while dinning there.. loved the white sauce pasta and had amazing chicken pizza which was thin and light yet super delicious!! Tiramisu was soo much juicy and a lil bit sour..but that the whole beauty of it....itvwas very different from the ones that i have taken before..overall a nice experience....a lil bit costly but that what royal dinning is all about!♥️

Very nice fine dining classy place in GK. I really love the ambience and the food is so authentic with fresh flavours. I really like their loaded pizzas, pasta and starters. Also their desserts are to die for. I tried 2/3 desserts and all were amazing. Surely gonna visit this place again soon.

We ordered Tre Vie Bruschetta which had three huge bruschettas with plenty of toppings consisting of fresh tomatoes, olives, etc. The Bruschetta tasted great but was difficult to manage due to the high quantity of toppings. Next we ordered a Veg Caeser Salad which was very fresh and had ample to dressing much to our delight. The good amount of dressing meant that the salad was not only healthy but tasty too.<br/> <br/>For the main course we ordered Ravioli Di Spanci & La Focacceria Formaggio Vegetariana. The Ravioli’s sauce could have been a little better both in texture and taste but the ravioli in itself was quite good with cheese and spinach filling. La Focacceria was a different kind of pizza with two layers of soft unleavened dough filled with cheese and veggies and cooked in an Italian copper pan. Definitely a welcome change from the usual and quite boring thin crust pizza.<br/> <br/>The end of our meal was something we would never forget. Torta Di Fango was simply eggless mud cake with a lot of chocolate sprinkled all over it along with vanilla ice cream served in a waffle cup. The mud cake is the best I have ever had as it was ultra soft and simply melted in the mouth.<br/> <br/>They can work a bit on their drinks as both Appletini & Mintchee were a bit too sweet for our liking. Their service was noteworthy as the wait time was minimal and the servers were very courteous.<br/> <br/>Spago is definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in town and with its gorgeous fine dine set up, confined not so huge menu and some great delicacies, it definitely deserved a visit.

Spago boasts of bold flavours with simple and quality ingredients.<br/>A few days back, I tried their Pepperoni Pizza, Lasagna Bolognese and (the best dessert I have ever had in a restaurant) Torrtaa Royale. Even though the pizza had become cold, it retained its flavours with a fatty pepperoni and quality cheese. The lasagna was another hit with thin but firm pasta sheets proudly holding the amazing minced meat.<br/><br/>Their Torta Royale though is a show stealer. A single bite and it took me to that moment 3 years back when I first had it. I tried Spago with my colleagues on a Wednesday night. It's a small place in the N block market with classy, soothing interiors and a pleasant playlist. Basically a good place for a date or quiet meal by yourself or close friends.<br/><br/>The order takes tad more than at any other cafe but that's probably because they try to tailor make the preparation according to your instructions. The meal starts with a complimentary bread platter and boy isn't that a surprise. Their garlic bread with the pesto dip is the finest I have ever had. Soft, fluffy and naturally melted in the mouth.<br/><br/>For our meal we ordered the penne verdure, the tagliatelle amatricinia and the vegetariana pizza. From the very bite of each preparation one could tell that they had tried to recreate an Italian dish in the most authentic manner. There was no additional Indian spice touch or artificial flavour. The pizza was thin and crispy and the penne was done to perfection with it's such just the right mixture of herbed spice and cheese.<br/>My only complaint could be with the tagliatelle amatricinia which was a mushroom sauce pasta which seemed to have been prepared in a manner that made it taste artificial. The quantity of mushrooms was also far less than I would have wanted. The pasta nonetheless was well done and would make for a pleasant meal if you are not a conneiseur.<br/><br/>The best part of the meal was the mud cake and ice cream. Highly recommended and a must have here. It was soft, gooey, chocolaty, smooth and incredibly satisfying.<br/><br/>Despite my wonderful experience above, I have only rated them 4/5 for their exorbitant prices. The tagliatelle amatricinia which I liked the least was about RS. 850 for a tiny portion. What an amazing Italian cuisine restaurant hidden in GK 1. Delicious yummy food they serve. Ordered di polo lasagna which was one the best lasagna i have tried in Delhi. The packing is so amazing that food was delivered hot. Filled with lot of chicken made it superb. Its a must try if you like lasagna.. we also ordered whole wheat vegetarian pizza which was superb the quality of food they serving is above the mark. And yes lasagna was served with small garlic breads which were good too. We also ordered pollo tiepido salad which was brilliant, chicken slices flavoured with suave and vegetables. i had that great salad after long so would say it was brilliant .. its a must try outlet if you are looking for authentic Italian food.

And tre vie bruschetta also deserves a mention.<br/><br/>In mains, penne verdure was lip smaking. It's red sauce tasted so good.<br/><br/>Dessert was the best part of our meal here. Had visited this place a year or two back. Visited again for lunch. While most of the food items were good which included a caprese salad pizza pasta and a calzone, what was disappointing was the risotto which was over cooked and bland but more so the way the complaint was handled by the manager. The gentleman Mr Rahul not only refused to hear the issue but also was very rude. It seemed they were not open to guest feedback. While we were stating that it was over cooked he explained to us that it was suppose to al Dente. The dish was cooked more, they added cheese and spices - more of a tadka and brought it back. <br/>I hope management take note of this as this I hope was a one off instance as the place is overall good.

So last night I visited Spago with my friend, in GK 1 , N block . It is a perfect place to have Italian cuisine. We started with drinks . In drinks we had Virjito and mintchee. Virjito was a virgin mojito and mintchee was a mix of litchi, mint and orange. It was good .<br/>Then in starters we had Asparagi alla grigila , tricolore caprese and peta apple , carciofi al gorgonzola. All dishes were amazing but my favourite was asparagi alla grigila. Everything was cooked properly and presentation was amazing. <br/>Coming to main course we tried penne verdure pasta and spago speciale pizza. Pasta was made in spicy tomato sauce , which had an amazy flavour. Where as pizza was super thin crust with toppings of paneer sundried tomatoes. It was amazing. I would totally recommend it . <br/>Ending our meal with a dessert , we tried Torta Royale - it was an oven baked cake dipped in white chocolate. That was the perfect dessert I ever had . This is a must try . <br/>Overall it was a nice experience. The place is perfect for a romantic dinner with dim lights . Worth it !!

The ambience is quite great for a romantic dinner- dim lights and a great view.<br/>1. So we started it off with some drinks. We tried mojito and mintchee. Mojito was the basic mojito. Mintchee was a mixture of orange juice and mint and litchee which worked really well.<br/><br/>2. In the starters we tried Asparagi alla griglia, carciofi al gorgonzola, tricolore caprese and peta apple. All of the dishes were properly made and were quite presentable. My favorite was the asparagi alla griglia. It was perfect for the tastebuds.<br/><br/>3. Coming over to dinner, we tried penne verdure pasta and spago speciale pizza. Both of them were great in taste and would make you feel like you are eating in Italy. Pasta is a must try<br/><br/>4. We ended our meal with an amazing dessert - torta Royale. This oven baked cake is a treat to have. Amazingly sweet.

spago is a mindblowing place for true Italian cuisine lovers. It's unexpectadly good. I had heard mentions but tried for the first time few weeks back and loved my experience of it. The food is phenomenal- 5 stars to the preparation and presentation. The hit chocolate was so yummy and they also have goof drink collection that is awesome. In food do try the pizza and risotto.

I had ordered the inslata di pollo which was grilled chicken breast marinated in a sauce of mustard and balsamic vinegar. There were veggies along. The chicken was dowsed in the sauce of the same marination.<br/>For desserts i had tiramisu which was a little creamy but delicious, nonetheless.

I was here a few days back to try some italian cuisine. It's at the first floor with such a beautiful ambience. Their staff were on their toes to serve. I was with my friends and began with the drinks. Their cocktails & mocktails both were pretty refreshing. Coming to the dishes, definitely try Crostini Pollo - combination of crisp bread and minced chicken was delicious. Tried Della Casa from La Pizzeria section and that's a good option for chicken lovers. Then came Penne Verdure pasta which was basically pasta made in spicy tomato sauce. It was good in taste. For desserts, I tried Torta Royale & Burnt Caramel and I'd say the former one is highly recommended from my side. All in all, I had a great time here.

This place is one the classiest place I ever went. The environment and interiors gives you a nice European vibes. The service was way too great and they were always there to assist us. <br/>I started with the complementary breads that they provide with a nice dressing, it was so delicious that I could not stop myself from eating it in excess.<br/>Then I had caesar salad which had perfect dressing and juicy lettuce. <br/>Then, I had La focaccia which was a unique dish just like pizza, loaded with veggies and cheese. <br/>I even tried the spinach and cheese cannelloni for the first time and it was basically pasta rolls filled with spinach and ricotta cheese, one should definitely try this. <br/>After that I had fettuccine pasta, with mushroom sauce, and it was okayish.<br/>I ended my meal with panacotta, which was a milk based dessert served with blueberry and it was so perfect. <br/>For drinks I had red wine sangria which was amazing.

Spago is one of many fine dining options in GK. It offers pleasantly quite - no loud music which makes the atmosphere good. From the drinks until the desserts, the service is constantly top-notch <br/><br/>For Drinks, We ordered <br/>Red sangria wine and <br/>Heineken beer. <br/><br/>For the starters, we order:<br/>Chicken Cesar Salad<br/>Garlic Bread With Cheese<br/>Penne Pollo Peperoncino<br/>The food was really good, especially the Peperoncino and must recommend everyone to try the same. Garlic bread is nice to go with the drinks. <br/><br/>For dessert, <br/>We order our favorite Tiramisu and it was mouthwatering. <br/><br/>Did find the price a bit on the higher mark but totally worth the experience.

A welcoming environment, a courteous staff, and nice décor combination is what Spago, GK N block market is. The places specialises in Italian cuisine, it has well organized menu all written in Italian. I had ordered the following items at the place :- <br/><br/>1. Insalata Di Pollo :- This was basically a salad with fresh chicken, fresh lettuce some tomatoes and olives. The flavour of the blend of mustard and vinegar was quite eminent in the dish too <br/>2. Funghi Arrosto :- The starter was really toothsome, it basically contained roasted mushrooms which were nicely presented, the mushrooms were of supreme quality mixed along with spinach, almond and red bell pepper <br/>3. Zupa Asparag :- This was a chef’s special soup which was again nicely presented, the presentation of all the food items showed the professionalism of the chef. The soup was thick and lip smacking <br/>Torta Royale :- The royal desert made a royal ending to the fine dining experience of the day. It was basically white chocolate baked in the oven. The whole flavour of the dish could be enjoyed in the bite taken top to bottom <br/>

My quest for Italian fine dine restaurants in NCR ended with one which ironically lists at the top of NDTV Food list (https://bit.ly/2TEaclP). I'm talking about Spago, a wonderful restaurant located at the very heart of south Delhi, in the GK1 N block market. It is wine friendly with adequate red, white and sparkling options. The wines in the frame are Montelcuano D'Abruzzo and a Pinot Grigio IGT from Veneto, both available in wine by the glass list. These went well with Italian dishes made with a variety of Italian cheeses - ricotta, parmesan, Gronzorella, mozzarella and goat cheese (more about cheese n wine in future posts). Polishing off job by signature Tiramisu and Pannacotta. Besides exemplary italian cuisine and class, the restaurant has a cool, easy going and a non pretentious vibe. A great place for a decent Italian wine dine outing.<br/>
