Review Sattva Fine Dine Veg Restaurant - New Delhi

Mudit Karwa
Heard the hype and visited this place with Family. The place is small, well kept but crowded. The restaurant is known for Indian & Kashmiri cuisine. We tried the Dahi Puri and Palak Patta Chaat To start with. Both were decent. The quantity was enough for 4 people. Then we tried the Rum Punch cocktail which was well made. The kaafir lime tasted delicious in it. Then we tried their specialty Kashmiri Tarami. It’s more like a Kashmiri Thali served with rice. The portion size was good enough for one person. We tried both the Veg and Non veg options and it was good. The taste was authentic and sublime. Overall a good experience.

Great authentic Indian cuisine near the India Gate. The place is very clean and well taken care of. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area. P.s. the butter chicken is sublime

I had the pleasure of trying Chor Bizarre yesterday. But everything about my experience was far from bizarre and more close to being wonderful.(Had to make that joke) The way the interiors have been designed beautifully, the calming classic Hindi music and the exceptional service. I was already in a good mood even before I grabbed the menu. I felt like having chicken and after much discussion with the staff, I decided to order chicken tikka masala with some garlic naan. I must say I was quite honestly impressed with the flavour and the texture of the gravy. To me it was a memorable dine in experience. From the spice level to the juiciness of the chicken, everything was done right. I would love to visit here but if you do stay in Delhi or are even visiting, I highly recommend trying this place. They’re known for their Kashmiri dishes but even the other items were fantastic.

The food is very tasty. But quantity is very less & price per plate is very high. Palak patta chaat for example is very tasty & fresh but a plate has only 4-5 pieces at a price of 215 per taxesBatata puri has only 5 puchkas at a price of 215 plus taxes. Tandoori non veg platter has only 3 pieces per snack. Be careful while ordering.

Chor bizarre, located near Bikaner house , is a place which serves authentic Kashmiri cuisine. The dishes are all very authentic and are quite tasty! The decor has also been done quite well and does actually resemble a chor bizarre! It’s a good place to go to with family for an authentic Kashmiri experience. The price point is a bit high in comparison to other places, however.

The Food was just good, I personally liked the service more than the food. The non veg eaters definitely liked it more i guess. Must visit place. Best service.

One of the best places in town at the best location possible in Delhi. I have been a big fan of this brand for almost 25 years when it was at a different location. If you love North Indian especially Kashmiri food don’t miss this place at all. Best Tabak Maaz, amazing curry dishes like Yakhni. Rogan Josh, Haaq and a vibrant atmosphere. Chef Srinivas and his talented team has always been so consistent with their food it surprises me how beautifully they do it. Do book a table in advance. Parking is easily available inside the compound.

If you are here for good food, you won't regret. Taste & service, both pleasing. Gaolouti kabab - 3.5 (though it's melt in the mouth type, but needs to be little bit more moist with fat) Gostaba - 4.5 (bang on taste, 0.5 less due to smaller than expected ball size) Mutton - 5 (superb taste, very soft) Garlic Naan - 3 (was cold). Was thinner also due to which it was more crunchy than being soft. Chilli garlic Naan - 3 (was cold, & was expecting with green chillies not red chilli paste) Steam rice - 3 (normal rice used instead of aromatic versions, portion very small) Mutton stuffed Kulcha - 4 (it was nice, better filling possible) Dahi balla - 5 (as expected) Berry crush mocktail - 4.5 (kids liked it) Side dish - liked the walnut louki raita. Food portions can be little more, I won't say it's less but as prices are on higher side so expectations are according to it. Plates are also nice, with different decorations in each. Decor is what we see in images, but as the restaurant sitting space is not too big, difficult to move around and appreciate the old relics. Chairs can be made more comfortable, with better back rest. Better do reservation, else may have to wait.

The ambience of the place was really beautiful. It will give you old school vibes. It is a once in a while experience. Food was really delicious. We ordered Non-veg Tarami and kahwa. It was a little expensive. The rest was absolutely up to the mark. One should definitely visit this place❤

Chor Bizarre is a gem that truly lives up to its name, providing a uniquely delightful dining experience. From the moment you step into this restaurant, you're transported into a world of eccentricity and charm. One of the standout features that sets Chor Bizarre apart is its purposeful use of different plate designs for each guest. This attention to detail not only adds an element of surprise but also creates a sense of personalization, making each visit feel truly special. When it comes to the food, Chor Bizarre continues to impress. The mal pua, a traditional Indian dessert, is an absolute must-have. Its delicate texture, coupled with the sweet syrup and subtle hints of cardamom, will leave you craving for more. Pairing the creamy dal makhni cooked for 24 hrs 🤯 with the heavenly chilli garlic naan is a match made in foodie heaven. The rich flavors of the dal complement the perfectly spiced naan, creating a symphony of tastes that will satisfy even the most discerning palate.

This place offers excellent authentic Kashmiri cuisine, great ambience and very good customer service. The Mutton Yakhni and Tabak Maaz tasted delicious. Being at Bikaner House it's centrally located and hence easy to commute to. Highly recommended for those interested in authentic Kashmiri cuisine.

Wonderful place to dine in a serene atmosphere. Both Veg. and non-veg food is excellent. My only advice is they should add more veg items in main course (other than paneer items). Chicken Rogan Josh is a unique item here. Worth a repeat visit.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) Review: My recent dining experience at the Kashmiri Restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in the heart of the city, this hidden gem showcases the vibrant and rich flavors of the Kashmiri cuisine in a cozy and inviting atmosphere. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an ambiance that instantly transported me to the beautiful valleys of Kashmir. The restaurant's decor exuded elegance, with traditional Kashmiri artwork adorning the walls and soft, ambient lighting that created a soothing ambiance. The attentive and friendly staff made me feel right at home, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that every detail of the dining experience was taken care of. Now, let's talk about the highlight of the evening—the food. The Kashmiri Restaurant offers an extensive menu featuring authentic Kashmiri dishes, each prepared with meticulous attention to detail. The flavors were a delightful symphony of spices, providing a unique blend that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The use of traditional Kashmiri ingredients, such as saffron, fennel, and Kashmiri chili, added an unmistakable authenticity to each dish. I started my culinary journey with the fragrant and flavorful Rogan Josh, a traditional Kashmiri lamb curry. The tender pieces of meat simmered in a rich gravy that was bursting with aromatic spices. The flavors were balanced perfectly, with just the right amount of heat. Accompanied by fragrant basmati rice, this dish was a testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs. Next,a dish that perfectly showcased the delicate flavors of Kashmiri cuisine. The fragrant rice, cooked with aromatic spices and succulent pieces of meat, was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The subtle hints of saffron elevated the dish to new heights, leaving me craving for more. The sweet and savory combination was a revelation, adding a unique twist to the traditional naan. To end the meal on a sweet note, I savored the Shufta, a traditional Kashmiri dessert. The combination of caramelized dry fruits, honey, and saffron created a heavenly indulgence that was both rich and satisfying. Each bite was a reminder of the culinary legacy that Kashmir holds. Overall, this restaurant left an indelible mark on my taste buds and my heart. The authenticity of the cuisine, combined with the warm hospitality and cozy ambiance, made for an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur of Kashmiri cuisine or someone looking to embark on a culinary adventure, this restaurant is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more .

Love the ambience and the location, the place is usually quite. Situated in Bikaner House, the decor looks amazing. The staff is also polite and considerate. Parking is never a problem and the location is quite central. I just had chats and they were good.
