The food was simply outstanding. Chicken qorma was definitely the best I have ever had. Mutton Keema was also sumptuous, nothing was overtly spicy and the breads were outstanding. The khameeri roti was soft and fluffy and the sheermal was absolutely divine.. Guys kudos to all of you.

We ordered mutton biryani and Murg Musallam for my Daughter's Bday. The quantity was great for 8 people (big eaters). Had to pack some of it and give it to my friends, while saving some for dinner.
The food was delicious, would be an understatement. U cud feel the richness of the Musallam and Biryani was fabulous. Thank you soo much for the lovely Lunch.
One of the best biryani and korma in my entire life. My son's ordered from this place for father's Day special. We had to order one day in advance but it was worth it. We were literally licking our fingers. The biryani had amazing aroma and the meat very very soft in korma and biryani which we can find in any other restaurants or delivery places. A real treat and a real Delhi 6 food.
We had food twice from Delhi 6 over the past week, and the quality justified it. The haleem was perfect: wonderfully flavoured, with no overpowering spices. The shab degh was excellent; the meatballs just the right mix of firm/tender and with such understated flavours and aroma. The rabri was rich and very smooth. Chicken sheekh kebab. Here the secret is the chicken keema well grated and well fried which gives a wonderful and tempting taste. Well served with green chutney and onions.

The best part of Delhi-6 is the authentic Mughlai taste. I have been a foodie and been to almost all food joints of Delhi who serves Mughlai. but the taste, preparation and perfection i saw in the food ordered from Delhi 6 was awesome. they really take the patience, pain and hard work to craft that particular dish for you. Since i ordered for the first time, me and my colleagues have become regular customers of Delhi-6 and order food at least once a week from there. You have to try their food before you comment. mouht watering Pure Desi Ghee preparations are not for those who are calory concious.

I’ve eaten their food at various places when they put up stalls, especially during Durga Puja. In fact I’ve eaten their food at Durga Puja for the past 3-4 years. They have never disappointed!
The chicken biryani that they make is heavenly, the Chicken korma and Mutton korma is also so so flavourful.
The food is really oily, that’s why I’ve deducted 1 star, but the flavour is so good.
Their food is quite reasonably priced also.
I always look forward to eating their food.

I am writing a review to reinforce my trust in the quality of food, service, reliabililty and taste that Delhi 6 food offers. In the last 2 months I have ordered food at least thrice and the latest offering was on September 1. Mirchi Keema, Chicken Korma, Shami Kebabas and melt-in-the-food Phirni. In their food you can taste different ingredients, spices without being overwhelmed by one dominant taste (that some other food outlets offer) and enjoy different textures. Although I ordered vegetarian food only, it was a fulfilling meal with the right balance of spices and unique flavours. You may not find the vegetarian dishes on the menu but do ask for the menu. It's well packed and delivered to you.
The food from Delhi 6 is scrumptious. We order regularly from them. Have tried most of the dishes on the menu and each one is delicious. The food has always been a hit at all our get together’s. The delivery of food is always on time. The best part is that you can enjoy the awesome food of the walled city in the comfort of your home.
Ordered Mutton Biryani at 6pm and the food got promptly delivered at 8,30pm and that too to Gurgaon! The taste was exquisite. Succulent mutton pieces with a perfect amalgam of high grade rice.
Next order is going to be Nihari with khameeri roti.

A lesser known gem in the heart of Old Delhi. Their chicken korma and mutton nihari are the most delectable so far. The quality of raw meat is evident once you dig into the succulent pieces of mutton in nihari. Cooked to perfection, just until the meat leaves the bones. :)
Special mention to the good quality oil they use for cooking, you don't feel heavy even after stuffing yourself.

I ordered Nihari and Pakistani mutton biryani. The Nihari was unbelievable! The meat just melted in your mouth and the flavours were subtle and delicious.Each mouthful was a treat. The biryani was excellent, the meat juicy and succulent. The owner was extremely helpful and made sure the food was delivered on time and way better than my expectations. Will surely order again.

I had placed an order for a party I was hosting and was anxious about the delivery time as well as the quantity and quality, despite positive recommendations from acquaintances. All my fears were allayed by the excellent service, prompt delivery, and most of all, the great food. Delhi's Mughlai scene has been hijacked by pretenders who use too much tomato and cream as a shortcut. To taste the food Delhi 6 provides is a welcome break from this awful trend, and this is precisely what makes them stand out.
I ordered chicken biryani where every grain of rice was perfect, and the chicken tender and juicy. The chicken qorma was a standout as well- it tastes so much better than the terrible fake-Mughlai stuff you keep getting in Delhi, even from so-called authentic restaurants, that you're almost surprised by how subtle and yet flavorful it is. I had wanted mutton seekh kebabs but they had run out of it when I had ordered it, and I had to settle for the version with chicken. I was not excited about this at all since chicken seekh kebabs almost always taste terrible and strange. Once again I was proved wrong the moment we bit into those kebabs, which were succulent and did not taste funny at all. To top it all off, the kheer was such a pleasant surprise. I'm a Malayali and have considered kheer as a watered-down inferior version of our payasam but this was so distinctive. Creamy, nutty but without being cloyingly sweet.
I had to order the safest items since many of my friends do not eat a lot more than chicken. But I will be sure to explore the rarer items when I order next. Their menu looks fantastic.

We had Mutton nehari and mutton korma today along with whole wheat khameeri rotis and we guys were bamboozled by it.
The flavours of the right amount of spices and the perfection applied in the cooking were equally satisfying for a bunch of foodies like us.. I would personally like to recommend this place if anyone would ever ask me for one of the best quality of mutton served in delhi.

Had the pleasure of getting an event for about a 100 people catered by them recently. Excellent food! Everyone loved the seekh Kebab, the chicken malai tikka and the Hari Mirch ka Keema. The rava maida paratha was great too. Though a word of caution, they handle the kitchen only.
The food is great and especially the bheja fry and the Shami kababs are to die for.......I am a big big foodie and I give full ratings to the restaurant!!!!! Probably the finest Mughlai food in Delhi today. While Karims and Moti Mahal have fallen prey to commercialisation, these guys are the true inheritors of the legacy of Matia Mahal, Sitaram Bazar and Turkman. The gravies are authentic with a yoghurt base unlike the Punjabi tomato ones. The food is uniformly superlative and the customer service is exceptional. Only grouse-they should probably consider selling kebabs in smaller quantities so that people can order some starters with the entree.
Well cooked food with authenticity and richness the royal dishes demands and deserves, served with a courteus service.
Food from here is an experience, popularity of which is spreading by word of mouth.

We ordered Chicken Korma and Gola Mutton Kababs and were very happy with the taste of both. The korma was mildly spiced and flavourful, with the meat finely cooked. The kababs were a tad spicy for our personal pallette, but the spices grew on one's tongue gradually, suggesting that the meat and the spices were very well mixed together.
