I've been eating chaat from here with my family since childhood and we love it... My favourite papri chaat in Delhi is from here only. Other foods are good too but there chaat and golgappas and snacks are just the best.

Changes my rating after visiting Nathu. The place has definitely improved a lot. It is first of better in ambience. The food is tasty, not out of this world but tasty. The chola bhaturas were pretty good and some of the items on the thali were nice too. I’d like to try out more items on my next visit. Pricing wise better than Nathu and also in taste. Think I’m lying? Try out both and you’d know!
Went to this amazing classic and one of the oldest near canaught place. Perfect for family outings and dinnings. Had delicious pav bhaji, uttapam, araj kachori with some amazing deserts like rasogolla and ras mallai..A must viait place for a delhite❤️🤤🍽️
Well prepared and tasty chat. Specially the Raj kachori. The filling was good and upto the mark. But the service of Chinese dishes was slow.
One of my goto place whenever I’m there at bengali market.Cholle bhature papdi chaat and noodles are my favourite and not to forget kulfi faluda which is a must for me.

Famous shop in famous market. One can expect really different taste for our day to day dishes, they will not disappoint you. I have ordered chole bhature, papdi chaat, sambar vada. Taste was really different and also good. I hadn’t tasted that kind of chole bahture yet. Though the service was slow a bit and hard to find seats during lunch hours. But great quality and great taste.
There is no one who don't love pasteries. I always love sweet after my meal. This place is perfect for pasteries. They always serve fresh. I love this place.

Sweet place to be for someone who wants to try delhi chaaaat out. What I loved the most about the place was the poster hung on the wall which literally said "Mind It" with important notice on not to flirt being the first one of it and many more! haha you dont often find those in Mumbai at least 😂. Ordered a chole bhature , which had two huge bhaturas and was good. The aloo tikki wifh chana was damn good , crisp and perfect. The seasonal makki di roti and sarson ka saag was delicious , the saag especially was something I really liked . The ambiance was nice but the service can be better .
Bengali Pastry shop and snack corner stands up to its name. The food especially the pastries are delicious and mouth watering. The ambience is very good and it is also centrally located. I always visit it for an eat whenever I am around.

The food was super delicious. i loved the vatiety of chaats and really appreciated the hygiene. The food from the bakery was also exceptionally soft and fresh. Must try.
Recently I went to the place with a couple of friends and had an amazing experience.the service and food were very nice.mysore masala doa, chola bhatura,golguppa n Chaat are a must try.we also tried firni which all of us agreed was the best we've ever had.the pastries we're fresh and kids loved them. We bought cookies from their and I think we've never had better ones.(oat cookies,Choco chip)

Tastiest cake under 400 Rs, I was a loyal customer of Nathu Pastry but on 30 July when I reached Nathu Pastry it was closed so I took cake from Bengali Pastr the butter Scotch cake & it came out very very tasty

Everything they serve is prepared with the idea of HEALTH FIRST , with minimalist approach regarding use of salt , sugar , fats , spices and condiments.The restaurant serves one of the best dal makhni in the city one can find . A must have for all food enthusiasts . Can be rated 5.0 for dal makhani.
This is a nice and petite place located in the beautiful area of Bengali market, they serve a variety of dishes ranging from indo-chinese, North Indian and South Indian delicacies. The food was good and service was prompt. We ordered a Raj Kachori, Garlic Noodles and Cheese sandwiches, everything was brilliant specially the Sandwiches, however I feel that the quantity was too less they could have given us atleast four slices of bread. Nonetheless I have always loved this place and I keep coming back here for a good meal. All the time.
Nice family restaurant. Tried their Chocolate Truffle pastry. I really liked the thick Chocolate all over the soft cake. It was totally value for money.
This is a good, family place for a pocket friendly dinner. However, the place is a bit noisy. The menu is vast, the food items have a decent taste. But there were very few good dessert options available when we went. Maybe that's because we went on a busy Sunday night, when the dessert items, like pastries and puddings, were over I suppose. Nevertheless it was a disappointment.
A not to miss place with some mind bogging pastries offered here. The aromas that surround you when you enter are enough to tempt you. Will be trying many more items whenever I visit them again.

Stuffed aaloo roasted. This is my favourate dish over here. The aaloos are very well boiled. It is very well located in the heart of delhi. Can be eaten by two people.
Good for a quick meal. Had got our lunch packed from here for a friend's birthday. We had ordered
masala dosa: it was great.
Pizza: this was exactly how I expected it to be... Horrible.
Pao bhaji: was okay
Noodles: they were edible
Chole bhature: super tasty
Kulfi faluda: the best was saved for the last.

Situated in the Bengali Market of Connaught Place, this is one is a small bakery shop serving quick bite grubs and desserts. Although there is nothing substantially wrong with their preparations, I feel that the need for amelioration still persists. Was hanging around near CP when I saw Bengali Pastry Shop right across the street and decided to pop in for a quick bite.
Their Veg. Cheese Burger was fine but seemed a bit unflavored. They should make the patty more spicy I guess. Paneer Patty was decently filled and tasted good.
The Veg. Sandwich was very light and not that scrummy. Again, addition of spices is duly recommended.
Altogther, eating at Bengali Pasty Shop was a satisfactory experience and considering the minimal rates at which it serves the preparations, it is not that bad after all.

Nice place for family casual dinning...value for money...although their pasteries are something to die for...my personal fav is chocolate mousse...not to forget their amazing variety of snacks like paneer tikka bread , cutlets , pizza bread , onion garlic bread...tried their south India too...dts also yummy...😋 🍞 🍕 🍫 😋

Cakes and pastries are a super hit, with the variety, taste and quality they offer its worth trying for. We are taking birthday cakes from here from past 15 years and it has never failed. The star point it's very pocket friendly. You can have a simple 500kg vanilla cake in 260.a price to die for. And not just the cakes, bakery products are also very good.

The old & famous Bengali Sweets has a new addition to its food kingdom and this one is dedicated to desserts, snacks and similar items. Opened recently, this place is an instant hit, not surprisingly, because of its family name.
Located right next to old Bengali sweets shop, it has similar space as the older one and is in the process of learning to serve good snacks.
The present list is not as big as you may find at other ‘dedicated’ places, but for now, whatever they serve is a quality item. I happened to visit the place a day before Eid, thus the place was filled with sweets, cakes and other bakery items in large numbers.
I tried the #BreadPizza from the snacks and #LaddooMotiChoor and was very happy with the preparations. I’m hopeful that they’ll introduce more snacks in future for they already have a competitor right opposite who is doing well in terms of snacks and fast food.
In fact one important that they can capitalize on is, healthy snacks at decent prices as there is a lot of demand for it but no supplier as of now.
This place is bound to do well but the direction it takes will depend. It’s anyway a part of existing favourite for many living in the neighbourhood. Must try if you’re around.
Its a famous pastry shop in bengali market that also serves fast food items, north indian & south indian food. What one should not miss here are their pastries which are really nicely baked. Prices are not too high in comparision of the quality they serve. They have wide variety of cakes & pastries to choose from. Must visit!
A must visit place to enjoy and get the taste of delhi famous chaat. Be it their spicy gol gappas, papdi chaat,tikki chole, samosa everything is just yummy. They are also famous for their chola bhaturas,gulab jamun and jalebi.
So to me Bengali Sweets and Nathu's go together. While, I prefer the snacks and thali at the other joint, I much prefer the pastry shop at Bengali.
The old world charm, rivalled only by Wenger's in that part of town add to the delicious paneer patties, mushroom patties and cold coffee. Still enjoy the cookies and the warmth of the staff every time we visit.
Recommended, not just because it reminds me of an age (yes age, not era;) gone bye.

This place is located in the heart of Bengali market.
Bengali sweets and pastry shop has been around from a long time and is in itself a brand.
The ambience is pretty decent. It's like one of the many sweet shops but it's nicely done up in comparison. There's a lot of space and the seats are basic yet comfortable.
A lot of shops of similar kinds have self service but it's not the same at Bengali's. You can take a seat comfortably and you'll be nicely served.
I want to appreciate their service as well which is quick and the servers are happy to serve.
One must have the chole bhature and the gol gappes here. My personal favorites @ Bengali's.
Apart from that I've had their Indian meal or thali to be apt. One can choose accordingly.
I chose the one which had dal makhani , matar paneer , naan , rice and raita.
It actually reminded me of 'ghar ka khaaana'.
The dal was decent but paneer was quite good. Overall I was quite satisfied with the thali.
I've had their badam milk too which as usual was nice.
Coming to the desserts , I've had their jalebi with rabri which was just perfectly made and the kulfi falooda which impressed me as well.
It's the perfect place when you want to have value for money meal and trust me , you won't be dissapointed.
I've been a regular at this place and will remain to be the same.
I really feel good to update my review after seeing the new facelift, I have my great fond memories. I can never forget eating desi burger, cutlets, pastry, patties and cakes which I have taken during my childhood.
I still have the taste of chocolate eclairs fresh in my mouth. Nice, creamy and chocolate.

Very decent taste. I am a regular customer of bengali. There veg thali is amazing very affordable and beautiful location. Pasteries and sweets also too good.
We only have Golgappas here.. Rs 7 for 1 piece.. Very pricy.. But great taste.
Water is prepared from Bisleri water as mentioned.. Test God knows.. Please try

If you are tired of those pathetic so called GolGappas and Chana Bhatura of HalDiram, but Don't want compromise on hygiene, Bengali sweets is the place to be. Located Centrally @ Bengali Market CP it still keeps the traditional olD world taste alive.. howeVer that's where the Goodness ends, everything else is Very average..
This is the go-to place for my family when we are on a day-out. You can get any vegetarian cuisine here: north Indian, South Indian, Chinese, what have you. The service is expectedly slower because of the high inrush of customers but the food is so much satisfying to your belly that you will come here again & again.
I think the quick , easy place to quench your thirst and fill your hunger. You can Relish all the Chat & pakori from this famous shop . Everything is decently priced .
The best thing about the place is Quick service , everything is fresh , from sweets to snacks , from Beverages to Desserts. Gol Gappas are served with Mineral jaljeera water ( As claimed ) .The hot Gulab jamuns are to die for in the Chilly wintery season.

Bengali Sweets is situated bang on the round about of Bengali Market. Known more for their desserts, one can find variety of cuisines here predominantly Indian and Chinese. Their sweets are good. Food is okay, rather average. Just went there today and two of us ordered a plate of khandvi, tandoori roti, Dal Makhni and rajma rice and lime water. We ran a bill of 300 rupees. Food was average. The khandvi was tasteless and the dough they made it with was too thick and undercooked. I could only get the taste of coconut and nothing else. The dal makhni with roti was made properly. The quality of rice in the rajma was below average. The lime water was too too sweet. For their stature and reputation they should really work on the quality. Quantity was average as well. The service is good and the waiters are very polite. During afternoons, the place is really crowded mostly with lawyers.
For meal which does not burn a hole in the pocket, this place is okay for that. Their only USP are their sweets and other milk products. Rest can be given a miss.
Another good place in Bengali Market for a perfect meal. Cookies are just amazing and mushroom patties. Staff management is where the shop lacks but located in a middle of the hub so attracts a lot of crowd.
Got a cake from their for a birthday. It was superbly done. Tasted amazing. Well worth for the price. And yes they have eggless options as well :)

The outstanding food quality and taste outpowers all demerits this place has... If you're new to delhi... This is the place to be!!! I wud prefer it over any haldiram, bikanerwala...... I visited this place well in the afternoon and tried the blueberry pastry along with mushroom and cheese patties. I really liked the blueberry pastry while the patties were also pretty good. The seating is a problem since the place is generally quite crowded, but then after waiting for 5-10 mins you will find yourself a spot.
Avoid having full fledged food at the bengali sweet house, its not that great. But thumbs up to the pastry and snack shop !
Well a quite ,homely and I must say clean place.ln my search for cheap and tasty food it stands out a lot. Masala dosa is amazing, should also try cold coffe and kesar milk.
