Review Adrift Kaya New Delhi - New Delhi

My family and I celebrated our last evening of a 3 week vacation in Rajasthan at this restaurant while staying at the Marriot. I don’t know if I should admit; that this was probably the best meal of the trip - and for certain the very best cocktails! It was many times better than Megu (at Leela Palace). And the service was professional and personal. Special mention for Gokul the bartender for his amazing custom cocktails. To Chandra from Marriot for being amazing, and also to Aliya, Tulsi and Shivraj for great service. We all highly recommend this place for all foodies, lovers of cocktails, and anyone who wants a flawless culinary experience.

Best place for sushi in India. The fish is so fresh. Chef Vlad is there for all you could ask for. Presentation is above and beyond. A must stop for all seafood lovers.

Without a doubt, this is one of the best dining venues in New Delhi. The cuisine is beyond comparison, the presentation is exquisite, and the service provided by Shivam and the rest of the servers, including Ms. Ananyuri, is extraordinary. As regular patrons, my friends and I have become part of the culinary family here. Head Chef Vladimir and his team treat us like celebrities, ensuring every bite is delectable. The dedication of Chef Ashish, Chef Deepak, Chef Ankit, and Chef Sonu is evident in their creation of stunning dishes. Each chef pours their passion into every culinary masterpiece, resulting in a truly remarkable experience. This restaurant is an absolute must-visit. I highly recommend the seared tuna, the pork dish, tempura shrimp, teriyaki chicken, or any of their stunning handcrafted rolls. Additionally, their skillfully crafted cocktails are not to be missed.

One of the best japanese food in aero city The ambience is perfect for date, good japanese with drinks, or business meeting High quality food, must try the miso black cod Staff are very service minded, always ready to help especially Kartika who is service orientated and eager to help and good product knowledge 2 things i would like to suggest for improvement, their wasabi is not fresh wasabi. For a restaurant like this, it should be fresh wasabi, not a hard sticky wasabi as it spoilts the food. Second, their japanese green tea should be authentic green and not from a tea bag. The rest is all good.

This authentic Japanese restaurant serves the most delicious food imaginable. And every guest feels cherished! We were so impressed with the decor details, the care with which the food was prepared, and the incredible flavors. Can’t wait to go back. The private room is so inviting! And the people who work there genuinely care about their guests. Chef Vladimir, we cannot thank you enough!

Best place for sushi and omakase in Delhi. Amazingly fresh and friendly service.

Exceptional Japanese food. There is much to like about Adrift. Sashimi was of high quality, the "small bites" menu was quite large. An acceptable wine by the glass menu for the solo dinner. Staff attentive, almost too much. Perfect stop prior to an international flight. You don't need to worry about Delhi traffic, come and have a great meal and then taxi a few minutes to the terminal.

The hype is real and deserved. Delicious Japanese cuisine in a beautiful hip space with excellent attentive servers and amazing food. I am an American and are the sushi, ice, etc - everything is clean and amazing and safe. My sashimi was amazing 🍣 and so fresh. The truffle Miso was to die for. The okonomiyaki was a fun yummy and unique take on a classic comfort food. Well return!!!

The freshest food, the perfect combination of the finest quality ingredients, and the best cocktails are the perfect ending to my trip to India. I love Japanese food but chef Vladimir villerba, blows my mind with one of the sushi dishes I have had in a long time. I highly recommend this restaurant to experience in my opinion, the best Japanese fusion cuisine in town.

I cook Japanese food and moved back to India after living abroad for 10 years. It has been a month and I missed sitting in Izakayas, savouring Japanese delicacies. Worried ill never experience the authentic Japanese food I began enjoying last 5 years. Adrift Kaya put all those worries to rest. The food is undoubtedly top notch, providing deep satisfaction. However the hospitality goes two notches above. Let me give 2 examples. I asked the server if they have Aburi sushi and he said no, probably didnt understand what I asked. As I was sitting on the chef table, probably the chef staff heard me, and lo and behold, they served me an Aburi Sushi! Next one of the chefs informed me it was Osaka night. I asked them what does that mean, and he said we make Osaka street food like Takoyaki. I love Takoyaki. So they got me a serving of Takoyaki on the house! Within 1.5 hours i was smiling ear to ear. Adrift Kaya became not just an amazing dining experience, but a reminder that it is possible to enjoy authentic Japanese food in India. The warmth of the staff touched my heart and the food touched my soul. If you love Japanese food, you HAVE to experience this place. I will surely be coming back to try everything on the menu. Otoro, maki, gyoza and mochi were all excellent. Next time ill try the black cod.
