Visited Thaal Vaadi for a family lunch. The place is quite dingy, we opted for the unlimited Gujarati thali which comes to around Rs 500/person. Service is quick and as soon as you sit they begin serving you with Gujarati delicacies, beginning with a Chhach which was not very good. From the thali items I was having a hard time picking anything that I liked a lot. It was all a very ok kind of fare. Though the thali looks really tempting, (see pics) I wish the taste did justice to the price. Overall an average experience.
Priyanka
Over all experience was good and staff was very polite...

It's a highly recommendable main course Gujarati delight which not only by taste but even the mouth watering aroma will make you fall in love.

Nothing great.<br/>The thali is certainly not worth 446 rupees (inclusive of GST).<br/>Ok food. Very oily bhajiyas. And to my surprise I found a sharp steel wire cutting in bhajiya! Dangerous! Notified the staff, but they were casual, no response or apology.<br/><br/>Sweets too are ok ok.<br/><br/>They should visit any authentic Gujarati thali restaurant in Ahmedabad and take inspiration or rather visit very famous Sukanta in Pune. Sukanta charges almost same, but the variety and quality is on another level.<br/><br/>Also I noticed they did not serve masala puri which they showcased in display thali. Wanted to ask but my mood was already off.

Great place, tasty food and very good environment I found at this place. Starter was excellent, paneer was good and service quality was top level. Kudos to their team management.
Sindhuja Kashyap
An ultimate thaali place.. Similar to rajdhani.. This place serves variety of dishes with an u limited servings.. You may want to check for the menu on the board at thw gate before entering to ensure you don't end up committing to food you don't like.

Good unlimited thali restaurant. We went there as a big group. The thali was tasty and all the items were delicious. Staff was also very courteous. These guys have secret hand gestures for denoting food items from thali. Looks interesting to watch. I specially enjoyed daal baati choorma and bajre ki khichdi.

Rajasthani culture & food.👌<br/>Awesome service.😊<br/>Bit costly but worth spending money.🤗<br/>In love with the style of presenting.😊😊<br/>Feels like home food 😋😋😋

Ambience was okay, staff was not trained they keep forgetting serving dishes that we have to remind them. Food was not at all good.Apart from gatte ki sabji, everything was extremely bad in taste. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Vaishali Singh
In case if you are looking for an authentic indian food, I would please recommend NOT TO VISIT THIS PLACE! The ambience is very dull, the service is pathetic! Your food will take ages to arrive. There is no point of wasting 425 per head for this kind of food! The food is typical and does not create any difference!! Thanks<br/>

A very authentic North Indian - Gujrati taste. Dhokla, Dal-Batti-Churma, Khichdi, Chaach.. everything tasted good on the buds. Go with an empty stomach and enjoy as they keep serving :)<br/>Though everything seemed good, it missed the ambiance since it is in a mall. The seating and interiors are just like any other restaurant.<br/>Taste - 4.5/5<br/>Cost - economical<br/>Happy Eating :)

A place for people who loves authentic taste of Indian Thali. You get variety of taste with in a price of 425 approx with unlimited servings.<br/><br/>I have visited the place many times, some of the menu items are seasonal and presence may vary over the period months.<br/><br/>My over all experience everytime was satisfying :)<br/><br/>Content of Thali :<br/><br/>Mixed veg salad, Green dhaniya chutney and Red Saunth chutney.<br/><br/>Snacks - Dhokla, aloo bonda, moong daal pakoda - was delicious.<br/><br/>Celebrity of the Thali - Baati in a bowl topped with Daal and ghee.<br/><br/>Breads - Tawa Roti with ghee, Bajra roti served with grounded jaggery (Gud), Poori, Papad.<br/><br/>Main Course - Palak and Corn, Shahi Paneer, Dry Aloo sabji, Dal makhni, mixed daal, kadhi, gujrati meethi daal.<br/><br/>Desserts - Gulab Jamun, Fruit Custard, Choorma (coarsely grounded, roasted wheat with, sweetened and topped with ghee).<br/><br/>Beverage - Chaach (Butter milk) is served unlimited times just like any other thing on thali.<br/><br/>Its a good place for friends and family with worm hospitality, staff is well mannered and soft spoken, their service is so super fast that you need to request them to slow down the pace a little bit :) .<br/>

I run to this place for a simple home style cooked meal. The variety is delicious. Loved the concept of Thaal and delicacies.<br/>Highly recommended.

“Sorry, Thaal Vaadi had to cancel your order because no one's available to deliver it. Please try another restaurant.” Really?? thanks for letting me know when the order was due to be delivered. Height of unprofessionalism..

Place is ok, it’s unlimited thali had Rajasthani cuisines in it , daal baati is nice, desserts are yummy!<br/>Its a family place..affordable and nice, it’s better to go on lunch or dinner time.<br/>Ambience can be better, service was good.
Antim Bhowal
Well this is a pretty big thali with lots of food. The restaurant is pretty good looking and you will love inside. I paid only Rs 450 and my stomach was more than full. The food is really nice and its unlimited!! People who are serving are really nice behaved and they will keep you feeding until you say no. Lastly a sweet dish is served named as basundi. I challenge that you cant have it only once. You will definitely ask for it again. Just wow and I felt like my soul is more than satisfied. I loved it. Worth giving a try! 😊

Very bad service and below average food. Unfortunately this is the only "Thali style" restaurant in Noida - and many people go for the unique experience of dining in such a place once in a while. However, I would recommend going to a similar restaurant in Delhi instead of coming here. You will end up asking for each and everything at least 5 times, beg them for tissue papers and hoping that some mosquito doesn't drown in your butter milk (one of the mosquitoes wasn't lucky enough when I went there). Please avoid!

As the name says, they serve North Indian Thaali with unlimited food. There is an option of limited thaali as well for people with low appetite. The specialty about this place is, they serve Gujrati & Rajasthani dishes along in Thaali. We wanted to have Rajasthani food, Dal Baati alone, so they served us Dal Baati Churma Thaali.<br/><br/>Thaali comprises of 3 Baati, 1 Katori Dal & Handful of Churma.<br/><br/>Baati were very soft & already soaked in ghee, so no additional ghee required. Dal was perfectly cooked with right proportion of all five pulses, which make this dal special. Churma was also delicious and not at all sticky in mouth.<br/><br/>Overall great place for foodies.<br/> <br/><br/>

Food quality was not good which resturant delivered.they have to think more about quality when they are delivering the food and as per they are showing in Zomato.

Its just Okay Okay . The best part is so much of unlimited food. <br/>I visited this place on one weekday evening, but i find the food was not fresh enough during weekday.<br/><br/>Desert especially Aamras was superb <br/>

Woahh!!! Love it.., but quantity as compare to previous 1 is less.. overall tasty and beautifully packed.. impressive must say🤩

Very bad thali..tasteless..all food served is cold and stale...no fresh food..sweetness overloaded on jalebi because of re heat..very bad experience..waste of money ..😫😫😠😠

Rajasthani Thali is something I always look upto..but here at Thank Vaadi the the experience was not at all good. The service was super slow. They intentionally did not serve sweets before and waited till we were full! They hardly repeated the dishes..I had to call them several times for roti. The khichdi was served so late that we had to skip...this is not done! The beauty of Rajasthani Thali is the frequency of food serving..the cheerfulness of the people serving...both were missing...not worth the money!
Siddharth
The place is best to be visited by family for an amazing experience. But, hey! that doesnt mean a quickie with pals will do any no-good. The feel you get therein is classical, and Rajasthani. Service is good and quick. You get served with promptness and they keep your needs during your time there, on priority. Food is fresh and tasty. (THANKS god). I didnt find any specific dish to be not good. The dessert is offered at the end which again, is fresh and actually worthy.<br/>Fully recommended.<br/>(Did I tell you that being a thali system every person is entitled to unlimited food:?:)<br/>PS- Dont miss the way the staff communicates with each other without words.
Ishan Kaushal
Disappointed, that will be the only feeling you will be left with after visiting this place. The whole idea of this restaurant seems like a mess, the thali you are offered has rajasthani, punjabi and south indian food all mixed up to create a plethora of taste which in theory might seem like a good idea but ends up being chaotic.<br/><br/>The ambience is decent, seating and service is satisfactory at best.<br/><br/>Not worth the price, you are better off going to a decent buffet/barbeque. Worth trying only for people who can't decide what they wanna eat and want a taste of everything.<br/><br/>Overall Score - 4.5/10

Very rarely it happens that my family looks for vegetarian food but we were really fascinated by how this thaali looked. Too appealing to the eyes. Quantity was enough to fill the stomach but not all items tasted very well.

Food quality was not good; it was like a stale food; Food was not fresh;very slow service and when it was informed to the manager about the food and service, he too k it very casually and ignored it. so anyone going for thaal vadadi; think twice before you go.<br/>Overall very bad experience.

Food is not upto the mark of restaurant name in the name of veg Sabzi they provide Kudurun.which is a JUNGLI vegetable not a vegetable. Not worth for money while order on-line it's better to visit because item sent in order are totally different.so disappointed.

Worst restraunt I have ever been in.shitty service, no management!! The waiters were apparently too busy to serve us,we kept waiting n waiting for the food to come and when it came,it wasn't fresh. The quality of food was pathetic and the way they were serving the food was not good either.worst experience!!!

Went for Thali with high expectations, food is ok with lot of variety. Snack and sweets are good but a lot of improvements for food and service required.

Was looking for a pure veg buffet place for our family dinner, over the past weekend and this was the first option that Zomato threw up at the top.<br/><br/>Food: 2/5<br/>Below average. Lot of options but not great tasting. Only saving grace was dal bati churma, and moong dal khichri. They did taste good.<br/><br/>Service:0/5<br/>Terrible. Tables were dirty. Upon requesting, paper napkins were just thrown on the table. Food was served in no particular order. Though mentioned in the menu, no snacks were served, saying it got over and stale. Only one of the senior steward was attentive enough and got some fresh paneer pakoras made. We truly appreciate the effort but by the time it arrived we were already half way through our meal. <br/><br/>Ambience: 2/5<br/>Regular. With a Rajasthani touch.<br/><br/>All in all: Its affordable, but still not value for money. It was a family dinner planned for my parents and parents in law, who do not step out for dinner that often, and we all were completely disappointed. :(<br/><br/>

It's a unique concept and the food is very homely and nice... normally when we go out my we are more worried what my 2year old can have ...buts it was not the case here... everything is so Indian and so healthy ... not very spicy... every age group with a large appetite will love this place

• Location, Ambiance and Infrastructure: The location of the restaurant is prime as it is in the most popular mall of the city. Ambience was good and peaceful for a lunch. Infrastructure had a Rajasthani touch to it which completed the theme.<br/><br/>• Food: The restaurant has two types of meals Thali and Unlimited Buffet. I chose North Indian Thali and below are the food items included<br/><br/>1. Paneer Lababdar: The sabzi was good, the only thing it was lacking in was the spice. 3.5/5<br/>2. Aaloo ki Sabzi: Just like the usual Aaloo ki Sabzi with no salt or very less salt. 3/5<br/>3. Dal Tadka: I am not very much fond of peas and this one could also not satisfy my taste buds 2.5/5<br/>4. Boondi Raita: Raita was tasty 4/5.<br/>5) Gulabjamun, Rice and Breads: All of them were well cooked and tasty. 5/5<br/><br/>• Staff And Services: The service is quick staff and is energetic and to make the customers more comfortable they make you wash your hands after meal on the table itself.<br/><br/>• Value For Money : I found the place economic. But you can eat better food in the same price in some other restaurant..<br/><br/>• Overall Ratings : 3/5<br/><br/>• Will I Visit This Place Again?: No I will not, but to have Gulaab Jamun maybe YES..
Amit Jha
A nice quite place for a buffet indian / not so Rajasthani or Gujarati food 🥘 .. their daily specials are good bt not awesome .. they play real safe with the taste by keeping it just moderate .. nothing too sweet or spicy .. however the pricing is appropriate and service is prompt..
Disha Poonia
They tried their best to serve the Rajasthani theme , and it was somehow upto mark, but nit that mich satisfactory!!<br/>Thali has various items , the items we liked the most were like dhokla, lassi, alotamatar . The ambience was okay , kind of completely family restaurant.<br/>

Once in a month i always try to visit here. If you love home made food like me then this place is just for you. The mixture of gujrati and rajasthani food is excellent. I loved Daalbaati churma, dhokla, pakodas in snacks. Their peeli daal, chole, khichadi everything is very good. In dessert fruit custard is very yumm. <br/>Ambience is also good. Their service is very good.<br/>This is a excellent place for vegetarians.

Food is not good and service is also not good, you may get better option in CP in less price, thaal vaadi is below expectations. It's not at all good waist of money and time, don't go there better cook Maggie at home it will be far more better.

Went to lunch to this restaurant located at GIP 3rd floor after a overwhelming majority of my team voted for vegetarian food. Respecting all religious sentiments, we entered the restaurant which displays their thali at the entrance. Ambience reminded me of a fading star ready for a revamp. As is in all thali places food started coming in immediately. The Dal Bhati churma was good but not exceptional. The dhokla samosa and pakoda got pass marks. The mains were all good especially the kadi, sweet dal and jelabi. The bajra roti with gur and humble kichdi was excellent. Service was efficient but not as eager to serve dishes as is in some more famous thali joints . All in all a good thali with some bright sparks.
Sargam Dimpy
Feels like home food and it's actually good with fabulous menu.😍<br/>I visited with my friends and we had a great experience.<br/>I loved 😘 their Kadhi, fruit custard and buttermilk the most.<br/> must visit

This is one of the finest rajasthani Thali I ever had<br/>This restaurant is on the 3rd floor of GIP mall near to carnival cinema.<br/>A wide variety of rajasthani dishes with superb taste<br/>Service is prompt and staff also coperative<br/>Will definitely visit again
Sarangi
Worst restaurant. Don't go there. Its a waste of money n health. The staff was not at all friendly. They had kept unlimited while they were not even ready to serve the bread(roti) twice. They were just intrested in money. <br/><br/>Coming to the qulity of food, it was the worst food I ever had. Only gulabjamuns were edible which Were also unlimited but when we asked for 2nd piece, they told us that its limited and when we said you had mentioned "sweets are unlimited too" while welcoming us, they gave us the perished gulabjamuns which led us to vomiting in a couple of hours.<br/><br/>Don't ever go to such a place.<br/>Value for money-1/5 <br/>Food-1/5<br/>Staff-0/5<br/>Ambience-1/5<br/><br/>Its a total waste.
Rama Singh
It's a place where you can party in a plate , wide variety of vegetarian dishes serve in an elegant way with traditional Rajasthan touch in it.<br/>Service is prompt & staff is cordial<br/>Best thing is tasty food & it's unlimited!!!!
Abhijit Gupta
Delicious truely delicious what to say about this place so much to have that a true thali lover will just say waoo. The best part is that all the things are superb in taste. Just visit this place and you'll face only one problem, where to start.
Anisha Thakur
The Rajasthani Thali is a must try from this place.  I loved each and every items included in it.  It is really a feast and  value for money.  If you have smaller apatite you may not be able to eat all items and it is that big.  Service, ambiance and pricing are good enough.
Ankit Kumar
It's a good restraunt good food good ambience but nothing was like surprising or above expectations . There was nothing special in it that would make want to come here again soon. It's a once in a blue moon type of place! But I am giving 3.5 for the waiters there. Very helping and friendly. But again nobody goes to a restaurant to meet friendly staff right!
Amar Bansal
Hygiene is not taken care at all and also the service is very poor. The food they serve was not at all fresh and was not also hot. I really do not like this place.
Nandita Chanana
Was there in GIP with friends and wanted to try Rajasthani food so we went here. And my visit to this place was totally worth . The place is beautifully and traditionally designed. One thali will cost you around 420 with taxes and it's delicious. You'll get around 25 dishes and baring 2-3 every dish every dish was superb. Their staff is also very quick , organised and efficient. The service was really very quick. And special mention to their khichdi and kadhi. These both dishes were delectable.
Nitya Gupta
Food is great. Ambience can be improved a tad bit to enter the likes of other rajasthani restaurants. Price is on a higher side. Doesnt fulfill the expectations from the ambience and services standpoint.
Delpicures
Located at the 3rd Floor of GIP Mall, Sector 38A, Noida, Thaal Vaadi is the only place in Noida which exclusively serves unlimited pure-vegetarian  Rajasthani and Gujarati cuisine for a fixed price. The concept of serving numerous Rajasthani and Gujarati cuisine in one Thaali is very similar to “Rajdhani Thali Restaurant” and “Suruchi Restaurant” located in New Delhi. Though Thaal Vaadi is slightly affordable as compared to other restaurants of similar type, but at the same time, it compromises in ambience and quality of food.<br/> <br/>Ambience: There is no doubt in fact that opening of DLF Mall of India in the same vicinity has impacted the outlets in GIP Mall severely and this outlet is one of them. At one point in time, this outlet used to be jam packed on most days, but now rarely one or two tables are occupied even on the weekends. Though, the interiors of this place compliment the Rajasthani theme beautifully and the place has a decent seating capacity which is capable of accommodating more than 50 people at a time, but furniture, crockery etc. are shoddy and simply not up to the mark. They have been using the same old tables, chairs and even Thalis since ages. An overhaul in the entire seating arrangement is highly recommended from our end. (3.0/5.0)
Rachit Dev
Good food, good service. A great place if you want to be completely filled. There are too many dishes in your plate to choose and taste. Desert is again good
Naziablogs
They serve the Rajasthani & Gujarati thaali.. I love theirs daal baati.. The food has a decent taste. And for vegetarians it's preferred option to have varieties but if you are a fan of Rajdhani or katputli you won't become the fan of this place.<br/>I remember, earlier their food was too scrumptious but it's not same now.<br/><br/>P.S. I hope something would be done to bring back that magic of food 😊😊<br/>I hope you guys take this review in good spirit

Having tried the regular thali here earlier and having liked it, I was looking forward to indulging myself in the 'Navratra Thali' at Thaal Vaadi but it was a bit underwhelming. <br/><br/>FOOD (2.5/5) : The major food items in the thaali were Paneer (Good), Samak Rice(Average), Curd, Singhade ke curry (Good) , Lauki (Very Good), Vada (Bad), Kuttu Poori (Okay), Sabudaana Kheer (Yuck), Aloo Halwa (Yuck Yuck). Rest included, things like Fried Potatoes, Fruits, Chaach, Chutney (Who has chutney as a food item?). There was no novelty in terms of the platter and most of the items were places just to add the numbers on the plate. <br/><br/>AMBIENCE (3/5) : Nothing great but nothing bad either<br/><br/>SERVICE (2.5/5): Lazy. I had to search for the staff so that I can ask for refill<br/><br/>PRICE (2/5): Rs. 927 for two thalis. Over priced given the thali we had with Chutney & Fruits as one of the things in Thaali. MEH!
Abhishek Sinha
Nothing great about the place but it offers a wide spread. Taste of some dishes was great and some were okay. I personally liked kadi, custard and dal batti.
Nitij Katiyar
Taste is good but you will feel like you have no space in your stomach to eat when you will see your plate full of items. They serve one thaali for a single person , sharing in thaali are not allowed. You can visit there at least once if you are fan of Rajasthani Khana.<br/>Pricing - average

We had visited this place about one year ago. At that time, we found both the food and the service very good. However, in a recent visit, we found that the quality of the food as well as the service have deteriorated significantly.
Vikas Bhardwaj
Food variety and taste is just OK.  but I had some unpleasant experiences at Thalvadi yesterday on 2nd Feb. <br/>I was about to complete the Kadhi in the bowl and I found a burnt match stick in my bowl. I showed it to the duty manager and he said sorry and took the bowl inside. It appeared to me that it was a casual thing for them.  Post this they didn't served me fresh curries or replaced my dish.   <br/>After sometime I also noticed one waiter who was serving us was having some small food item hanging on his face. Giving an impression he just had something from the kitchen. I indicated it to him and he cleared it while going back to the kitchen. <br/>Overall I was not happy with the hygiene standards of this restaurant. There was no apology or special consideration during billing and see off.
Tanya Chaturvedi
Not extraordinary but yes it was totally worth it..They offer quite a bigger meal than some of their competitors..The plate had everything from choley to KADI and poori, paratha to roti..The desserts were also good with gulab jamun being the best..
Travelfoodchronicles
Thal Vaadi is the best place in noida, if you are looking for some authentic taste of marwari thaali. They have good options to choose for the snacks. Great ambience and good value for money
Mohammad Bilal
After waiting for a long time I finally visited the Thaal Vaadi with my cousin. The ambience was quite simple and sober. I order their Unlimited Thaali for my self, and Limited North Indian Thaali for my cousin. They started serving me quickly while my cousin has to wait for atleast 5 - 6 minutes. They started with starters which contains 2 types of Pakoras and a Dhokla with Salad and Green Chutney & Meethi Chutney. Also Daal Baati with Ghee. Then they move on to main course which comprises of Shahi Paneer, Aloo ki Subzi, Dal Makhani, Dal Tadka, Gujarati Dal, Kadhi, Poori, 2 Roti with Ghee over it. After I saw this much of food. I have to stop them to serve Rice and Missi Roti. Then they served the desserts which includes Gulab Jamun, Jalebi & Custard. When I got my plate full, then my cousin got his plate of North Indian Thaali, which comprises of Shahi Paneer, Dal Makhani, Aloo ki Subzi, Butter Roti & Plain Roti, Rice, Raita and Salad. The last item which was served was Cold Chaach.<br/><br/>Their food was tasty though we were not able to finish it. I tasted each and every item which was served except Jalebi & Gulab Jamun. I was able to finish all 3 types of Dal, Shahi Paneer, Kadhi and Startes. Then only disappointing thing was that the food was not hot enough.<br/><br/>Overall experience was good. One can try this place. But should be empty stomach to eat all the food items served.
Rahul Tagore
There is nothing like rajasthani, its totally North Indian. No need to taste food here as you will loose your belief on North Indian food. Even my maid cook tasty than here.
Ritesh Mittal
A perfect place for authentic rajasthani and gujarati food. It's a thaali system with unlimited food starting from starters like dhokla, bhel puri, khandvi, cutlets and then main course - khichdi with ghee, daal baati churma, 7 different varieties of vegetables and then comes to dessert- fruit custard, gulab jamun and jalebi with rabdi.<br/>I always love this place with a lot of tasty and marvellous food. A must try place for all the food lovers.<br/>Have a nice day foodies....!!!!!
CHOMPING CHAMPION
We decided to have the traditional thali which they offer for lunch. Here is what we got on the thali.<br/><br/>Drink: Chhachh<br/>Salad: Mixed Veg Salad without onions<br/>Starters: Dal Bhatti Churma, Khaman Dhokla, Moog Dal Bhajiya and Mirchi Pakoda.<br/>Maincourse: Paneer Makhani, Sarso Ka Saag, Aloo Tomato Sukha, Chole Masala, Gujratai Saal, Daal Tadka, Kadi Pakoda<br/>Breads: Phulka Roti, Poori, Makkhai Rotla<br/>Rice: Plain Rice and Moond Dal Khichdi<br/>Desserts: Fruit Custard, Jalebi and Moong Dal Halwa<br/><br/>In the starters, I thought the Mirchi Pakoda and Moong Dal Bhajiya was good.<br/><br/>In the main course, I liked the saag, which was buttery with the taste spot on with Makkai Rotla. I also had couple of helping on the Aloo Tomato Sukha. The daals and the kadi disappointed me.<br/><br/>I will tell you why. None of the dishes had any aroma to entice you into taking your first bite. Since, it was a regular thali, in the way of presentation, I did not expect much. Most of dishes were pretty bland and lacked that extra zing! It could have been the smell of asafoetida or roasted chillies or hot ghee in tadka. I also have a complain that most of it was regular North Indian food. I would loved to see the ghatta sabji or masala, ker sangri, tomato subji or bhujiya ki subji, which would have made the thali interesting!<br/><br/>A small note. The vegetable salad served looked like a mess. Can the chef me little more creative?

What you expect of this place after hearing so much about it kills your experience. Much like what I got when I had anticipated a royal treatment and prompt service from them, but what I got was delayed service and food about which I can't complain. Authentic flavouring and baasundi which tasted amazing in the thaali,so was the freshness of sarso ka saag. The chapati that I had asked for would have created it's own legs to reach me ,had the serving man not brought it in the fourth call(limit to my patience, great job that).<br/>Service killed my experience and the revised rating was a bit of a turn off too.

Their Daal Baati Churma and Paneer Butter Masala are lip-smacking.<br/>The thaalis out here are quite filling and the rates are quite affordable as well.<br/>Visit it to relish traditional delicacies.

One of my favourite joint in tgip mall if you are to have a vegetarian meal. One should visit the place to experience the way the stag their communicates. The high point is their khichuri which comes when you are half way through the meal.

My friends are going to laugh when they read this, but man oh man the Thali was kick ass 👍<br/>The daal baati churma with ghee was the perfect way to start the meal. What followed was a surgical strike of flavors and colors. The chhole, the kadhi, the paneer, the Gujarati daal (sweet), the tadka daal, the assorted veggies were piping hot and fingerlicking good but not in a KFC kinda way. The chaas and dessert were the icing on the cake. I am a convert, hallelujah

If you are a fan of flavours, this is the place. Firstly the service. The overwhelming nature of the staff is worth noticing. They seriously treat and make you feel like a king. The service is fast. U wont have time to get rid of your hands digging.<br/><br/>Food talks :-<br/>They have a standard thaali with a lot of variants in it.<br/>First they serve you with chorma powder- sweet, big lumps, dry fruits were absent. Then the chutnies are served one of them is the pudina chutney and the other is sonth. Salad and papad are served. Then served is daal baati. Dhokla and a samosa is served. Then they wait for you to dig into it. After when u feel you are finished, then they start with the main course. Shahi paneer, rajma, aloo, bhindi is served. Their bhindi subzi was insanely great. Shahi paneer and rajma were hats off. Aloo subzi was just an ok. With this is served bajra roti+ gur+ ghee, puri and roti. Daal fry, sweet gujrati daal, dal tadka is also served along with it. <br/>The fascinating fact of this place is that the food is unlimited. You can order as much rotis, subzis, papads etc as you want. To top it off comes the deserts. Deserts had 3 variants- gulab jamun, basundi, moong dal ka halwa. Basundi was worth trying. An ultimate desert it was. The gulab jamun had a mild flavour of cardamom which made the gulab jamuns rich in taste. Moong dal ka halwa was a bit disappointing as it lacked sweet.<br/><br/>And you get all of this at an affordable price of 325<br/><br/>Ps- u gotta be here

Thaal Vaadi<br/><br/>It's a nice place situated on the top floor of 'The GIP Mall' . I visited here during navratra looking for pure veg. They welcome us warmly, and at the entrance there was a paalki of baal gopal thakur ji, which seemed to be very auspicious along with the thali food offered.<br/>We were offered seats and asked whether we were having vrat bhojan or normal thali.<br/>We went for normal thali and a staff came up with the Bronze Bowl for hand wash and towel.<br/>Then they started serving, first they came up with Chaanch (butter milk) and water.<br/>Then salad, corn tikki, roasted papad, dhokla, green chatni and sweet imli chatni.<br/>After that different types of daals and vegetables, which were including Daal bati churma wid ghee, dal makhani, matar paneer, mix veg, alu lauki sabzi, daal fry, gujrati daal, kadi. Along with alu paratha, fulka roti with ghee and rice or Khichdi.<br/>It's an unlimited kind of thali, they come time and again to serve whatever you need. I was ful upto neck. And mind it you glutton stomach will b full too.<br/>The food item are tasty and quite homely kind of.<br/>At last the desserts came, lauki halwa, custard and gulab jamun, gulab jamun was of regular kind but lauki halwa n custard made our sweet tooth awesome.<br/><br/>I would highly recommend this place especially for them who are pure veg, you must have a meal here. You would love it.<br/><br/>So have your thali guys.. Bon Appetite.. :)

Just when you thought that the list of options offering you unlimited thali services was confined to Suruchi, Thaal Vaadi came into play and proved that there still are a lot of hidden gems in NCR. Being vegan restaurant and serving delicacies from Rajasthani and North Indian cuisines, Thaal Vaadi successfully manages to gather a handsome crowd of traditional food lovers.<br/><br/>Talking about their quality first, there seems to exist some flaws that one might witness after having the food here, I guess it is not substantial enough to make that big a difference.<br/><br/>Hence, in quality this place gets a 4/5 from my side.<br/><br/>The service out here is certainly not quick and there can be times when you have to wait for the person to come and serve you the food.<br/><br/>For service, 3/5 seems quite reasonable and apt.<br/><br/>Easily affordable and hence 4/5<br/><br/>On the whole, Thaal Vaadi definitely does not fail to deliver a relishing and enjoyable eating experience.<br/><br/>A clear cut 4/5 altogether.

Based on the similar patterns of the very famous Suruchi and Rajdhani, Thaal Vaadi is yet another very good food joint serving unlimited quantities of traditional food at fixed rates. While the cardinal attention here is paid towards the Rajasthani delicacies, Thaal Vadi also serves a variety of North Indian preparations that taste highly appetizing as well. Located in The Great India Place Mall, Thaal Vadi is the place where you should go to satiate a starving tummy.<br/><br/>Their daal baati choorma is amazing. The variety of sabzis out here is also very rich and even the breads, rotis and salads are also served fresh.<br/><br/>The only drawback that it leaves is in terms of service which seems to be not very responsive and quick.<br/><br/>The rates are nothing to worry about and considering the extensive portions that this place offers, Thaal Vaadi gives no prominent reason not to visit it again.<br/><br/>FINAL-<br/><br/>FOOD- 4/5<br/><br/>SERVICE- 3/5<br/><br/>VALUE FOR MONEY- 4/5<br/><br/>OVERALL- 4/5

Its nice they offer us to wash hands in a traditional utensil :) :) The food is great. All the Rajasthani and Gujrati cuisine :) I personally liked dal (All the three types) but did not understand where does spring roll fit in! It was nice but. Haan, but these guys should wait for the person to settle down and then start serving :)

The food here is good as well as the service we got.I would definitely come back and eat there again. They were and able to accommodate our group of 7 pretty quickly as it looked pretty crowded at 8 pm on a Sunday.

Totally avoid this place. I had thali here and food is below average. Service is slow & pathetic. My thali looked good but sadly taste didn't appealed to me. The place was crowded and very noisy. Overall it was a bad experience

Thali is always much loved by foodies. We visited Thaal Vaadi on recommendation of a friend. Well, quite decent food though sweets were average especially Jalebi. Cuisine was a mix of North Indian & Rajasthani.. Definitely a one time try for Thaali lovers.

Haven for vegetarians. If you want a pleasant break from the usual naan and paneer sabjis, this place is for you. Thali provides you with north indian+ rajasthani+gujrati dishes. Chaach is awesome. Two sweet dishes will be served that are yum. Nice place to dine out with family. Service is quick. People serving are courteous and friendly. Ambience is ok.
