Review Swagath Restaurant & Bar - Noida

Good restaurant, tasty food , service ok , faster service is desirable. Ordered daal and roti. The taste and masala was just good and right so liked the food. Costwise slightly on higher side. Overall ok , can visit second time.

It was a foggy night and we wanted to have something sitting on a quite street of greater noida, we looked around and realized that there is nothing much like we were thinking, so on a quick google search, we got to know that there is a place nearby where we can go and grab a quick bite, hence Swagath, its is located inside a small open mall and near to a big hospital, ambiance is good, price on the menu looks on the higher side but when you order and look at the quantity, you kinda get ok with it, but still is high, may be because it is near ot offices and office goers comes for a drink and office parties, they accept all types of payment open till 11, may be late after sometime since its corona time presentation of food is simple all in all nothing exclusive about the place, but simple yet expensive

Food is tasty but expensive. A party of 2 people can expect a bill of rs 1600-1700 including appetizer. The portion of the dishes are decent. Service is also good but not flawless. All in all a decent family restaurant. The restaurant is also located adjacent to Decathalon, so check it out if you were go to shop there.

Great food and service. We tried veg chettinad and Khumb Mutter Masala with Kerala parantha and Garlic naan which were great to taste. Great family restaurant with Bar

Located in Omega-1 Market opposite Yatharth Hospital. I found this as one of the Premium also one of the best Family Resto & Bar in Gr.Noida. This place have full bar with extended happy hours. Food quality and taste was just amazing. They were also offering corporate discounts. Service was excellent. And all staff members were well experienced. Happy to visit here again.

Really an amazing place which offers mouth watering dishes and the cherry on the cake is it's service. I would visit this place again and again.

It has a good ambience, with diffused lightings, and a bar located in the centre. The food is bit on the costlier side, but it is tasty. I have visited this restaurant many times in past 4-5 years. The cleanliness can be bit more and also the service can be a bit quicker. They give 10% discount to defence personnel. It's located in Omega-1 Market next to AWHO, Greater Noida with ample parking space available on roadside.

Haven't had such pathetic food in recent times.. we ordered 2 chicken dishes and one paneer and one mushroom.. and I cant decide which one was worse.. BAD QUALITY STALE FOOD.. My niece had stomachache an hour after having this BAD FOOD..<br/> Probably the last time ive ordered such overrated over expensive and tasteless food. Never going to have food from Swagath anymore. The review is kind of mixed. Liked few things while didn't like few other. Here is the summary:<br/>- Ambience: Didn't like especially the paintings which give a cheap look to the place.<br/>- Food quality: Good. Overtly expensive. Nice ambience. They charge you so many taxes there extra. The government waved of some, inspite of it they continue charging that. Good food and good hospitality. But there are other restaurants in Greater noida where you can get a similar experience for half ir 2/3rd the price.

Nice and worthy of money, but chicken biryani was not good. Rara chicken, paneer butter masala and butter naan was good. Quantity was also good enough.

We ended up eating here after a night show of Avengers end game. Admittedly, this would not be my first choice but we didn't have many options available so late in the night hence we had to make do. The food was alright, nothing very good about it. The staff behavior felt like that they wanted to get rid of us so that was weird. Wouldn't eat here again if I had any other choice. Coming on to the food, we ordered tandoori chicken in starters and it was great. The Chinese noodle and rice dish was not that impressive. P.s. this was suggested to us by the manager. Anyway, all in all, they can do oodles better.

Zomato is asking me to be polite and friendly on my review, but please tell me if u get died cocroach in vinegar bowl, and food bieng served on torn table cloth with cracked soup bowl...how long u could be polite?

Keeping up with the vibe of greater noida, nobody here likes to put in the effort. The lack of everything will be evident as soon as you step foot in it. <br/>food is what the lower middle class knows and wants. Everything will taste the same. Salt is there favorite thing to use. <br/>Buy if you are hungry in Greater Noida, this is the place to go.

Have been ordering food from this place often. Today for the second time the amount of food delivered was not worth the money. It was very high in salt too. Very disappointing!<br/>

Nice place for friends and family. Service is good and the food is also very good. We had a veg and non-veg platter in starters. Mutton Roganjosh, chicken rara, palak kofta,chicken Lababdaar and garlic nan. Food is excellent grt taste with good consistency.

Decent atmosphere, helpful staff and delicious food. It's a dine in ó bar. It is a family friendly restraunt. The Indian cuisine and sea food are it's speciality. Peak wait is 15 mins. Price is affordable as per the quality and taste of the food. Average cost for two person is around 1500 INR.<br/>Ideal for family visits.

Not value for money.Chicken didnt taste good really slow service and the manager was very rude while talking and said that if you have any issues contact upper management, just pay us the money as what we have printed in the bill.

An oasis in a place having no good dining option<br/><br/><br/>I am a vegan and so deprived of good eating joints in greater Noida area.<br/>I have to this place and went through the menu, for options suiting my needs. Menu was full of non vegetarian options, never heard of.<br/>After extensive search and taking help of their staff, zeroed down to Malabar parotta and vegetable stew with a instruction to prepare dish in a vegan way.<br/>I was surprisingly delighted to taste the food which was awesome, suiting to my taste and hygienic.<br/>Would like to visit the place again<br/>

Very disappointed with the service and behavior of the staff. AC was not working effectively and had to literary shout to have a fan put. Food quality is no longer as it used to be. Staff seemed least bothered. Not visiting this pathetic place ever.

Disappointed with the food, it is the second these people have sent me the wrong order. Ordered pan fried noodles, they made a slush out of it and was not edible at all, had to throw it away. <br/>I will never ever recommend anyone to eat or order from swagath. The quality is deteriorating day by day. The staff doesn’t know how to talk to customers on call. Swagath is a disgrace in the hotel industry. <br/>

Pretty comfortable ambiance for family time. Food is really good .Dal Makhni and panner butter masala are must try dishes here.<br/>There are options of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages as well .<br/>Weird was when one of the restaurant colleague asked us to get masala on the side for the masala papad to avoid sogginess.<br/><br/>Still the staff was courteous.<br/>Need high chairs for kids. Worst chicken chettinad.... Bad experience.. They don't specialize in South Indian cuisine...I would not recommend it for South Indian cuisine.... It seemed boiled chicken was put in some gravy with no spices....

The quality has been drastically changed. It used to be one of my favourite place but this time I was really disappointed. I went there to have some dinner and ordered tomato soup and Tandoori Veg Platter. Soup was perfect but the platter was horrible. I was so hungry that I ate some pieces from the platter and calmed my hunger and requested the waiter to clear the table. He asked me whether I want the remaining platter to be packed, but seriously it was so bad that I didn’t even want to take it home. I am a fan of Tandoori snacks but I literally hated the ones I was served today. <br/><br/>The worst thing was the staff didn’t even cared. I directly told them that I didn’t liked the food and more than approx half of the plate was returned back, but unfortunately nobody didn’t cared. Nobody came upto me to ask what was wrong or anything, even when they actually saw that half of the food is being ignored by the customer. <br/><br/>The quality of the staff has been drastically changed. They were talking to eachother so loudly and giggling amongst themselves. In short no manners no etiquette nothing was there, specifically amongst the senior staff. Please guys remember, your customer notices your every move and action and then make a picture about you and your restaurant. Such behaviour is never accepted if you are anyway related to hotel management.

This outlet of Swagath has consistently failed to serve good food. We have visited multiple times and each time we regret our decision. <br/>Only good part is the long happy hours 11 to 11.

Was here a few weeks back with a friend. Wonderful service and great food. We ordered drinks along with their non veg platter and masala papad. The chciken was well made and served well. While it can't really be said to be value for money exactly, it was close enough.

Love their food. I am a very big fan of their menu. Great place for seafood. And the vegetarian food is also at par. Love the fact that it delivers, so you can easily enjoy at home as well.

Come and enjoy the most expensive onions for the season... serving 5 mini pieces of mutton at a whooping price of Rs 550 plus taxes... A decent place for having ice cold beer after work, personally recommend the chilli mushroom. Nothing exceptional in the food they offer despite the variety and choice they offer. A drinks and snacks place.

We visited this place yesterday for a birthday party.<br/><br/>Pros:<br/>As the restaurant was empty when we arrived ,we got our desired seats.<br/>The manager was courteous.<br/>The main course dishes which were methi murg and chicken tikka lababdar were good.<br/>The decor was good.<br/><br/>Cons:<br/>Inspite of restaurant being not so busy, the service was delayed like anything.<br/>We had to wait so much to place the order.<br/>The quantity compared to the the price is very less.<br/>The kitchen door was open and we witnessed a fight between the cooks , not pleasant sight to watch from a customer point of view .<br/>The starters which we ordered was a non veg- platter and none of the kebabs were cooked properly.

Its a family Resto-Bar, Nice place to eat North Indian Cuisine. Great Ambience with good quality food. Try Achari mutton here. Slightly costly as compare others but its worth the money.  Must go on special occasions. Also giving loyalty discounts :P. Best for Dinner/Lunch....

I was on a business trip to Greater Noida. Ordered food to be delivered at my place of stay from Swagath of Greater noida. <br/><br/>The food arrived promptly within the time indicated. Had ordered mixed fried rice and Hong Kong chicken with thick gravy as side dish. <br/><br/>Both dishes were fantastic although the quantity more like sufficient for 2 people. <br/><br/>So next time in Greater Noida on either side of Pari Chowk in sure to patronise this restaurent with some colleague to accompany me. Wonderful dishes.

I wish they could serve Crab , although they could with one day notice. <br/><br/>Appam with veg stew is perfect. <br/><br/>Although I do not like too much spicy pastes on fishes. I like more meat with mild spices . But that is what Swagath is . I do not complain , I know what is going to come when I reach there. <br/><br/>

Good South Indian food<br/>. I visit the outlet for Appam and Stew.. Always repeat it without fail and enjoy the same every time. Decent environment and staff.. All in all satisfactory.

Wanted a Bhuna Ghost, which sadly was not available. Navaratan Korma was alright, can't say nice. Tried the recommended mutton stew as we wanted something mild, wasn't good at all. Again recommended prawn biryani was alright too. Ambience was fine.

Went to the college with my daughter in Greater Noida and had no decent options nearby except this one and so went there to have lunch.The overall ambience was not warm or welcoming.The staff to were disinterested and busy with their own jokes.The food quality was no where near to their defense colony outlet.The price was on the higher side.Must say of does not have any Repeat Value.

i love the food here...even the ambience is great.. swagath is known for best chettinad in ncr and has the same menu at def col , noida and gr noida....they also serve hard drinks & wine ...their appams, stews, malabari parothas , gassis, chettinads, neer dosas are to die for ...but its costly specially after the hike in taxes on food ...anyways if u want to spend a nice romantic evening with loved ones or a fun filled gathering with relatives & friends...do visit this place for the best coastal food and great memories..

Food and service are both good. I think the chef has an inclination towards chillies as most of the stuff that we order is spicy. Last time we tried chicken soup, chicken tandoori and chicken lolipop. The lolipop was not that great as it was fried, which in turn made it very crispy

When it comes to greater noida whr we have limited places to go out with family for some quality time it's quite difficult to find out the good restaurant. Swagath is one of them, ambience is nice, service is good, bit expensive, suggest everyone to order northindian food for good experience. Big No to Chinese here. Hindi Chinese they serve.

I am a regular customer here....really satisfied with dishes and delighted with their service.... chicken 65 & chicken ghee roast seriously recommended and would also request to add some continental dishes as well if possible!!

Had been here yesterday , had been here before as well and tried their fish, but this time wanted to avoid seafood considering the heat.order for chicken Afghani which was okay, the bharwa chicken was awesome. The main course dal tadka was really very taste

If you want to have the authentic South Indian Sea food, you must visit this place. Shallow fry Pomfret is recommended here. The ambience is just calm and gives you a look of proper family fine dining restaurant. Service is quite good. Appam and Chicken stew is also delicious. If you just want to relax with friends and family and enjoy just the sea food, this place is highly recommended.

A nice and pleasant resturant. Very nice ambience and decor family restaurant. Good on hygine, quality and taste of all dishes was amazing. Quantity as per thr price was totally worth it. This is a very nice restaurant.. With good ambience.. Greater noida really lacks such restaurant. And when you find one like this you are really happy. They serve good mocktails as well. All their dishes tastes well. But Chettinad veg pepper fry is one dish which I love here. And they serve good appams and neer dosas also.. Will surely visit the place again..

A very good restaurant with cozy ambience. The food is very tasty . We tried the veg chattinad pepper fry and it was awesome . I cannot talk about non veg but I heard the coastal food is their speciality . A must visit and highly recommended .

I second the last review that I see, Swagath is a decent restaurant, atleast in greater noida. I'm a fan of their mutton biryani that is always custom made to suite my taste.  Has a very pleasant ambiance in the restaurant and have a decent delivery time. Good stuff !

Visited on 28th Dec 2014.... Enjoyed the food and ambience.<br/>Some of the items are of same taste but named differently :) taste was Improved from the last time we visited about a year ago. Almost everything is overpriced. 1500 for two is an understatement. If you start with soup and end on dessert it will cost you over 1000 rs per head. The one who take order will pitch for every course and will make sure you order and he sells more than you can eat:)

I would sum up all what I had to write with a single thing. You want tasty delicious food in a proper ambiance without much effort, head to Swagath in formule1. You wouldn't be disappointed! <br/><br/>I would strongly recommend their Handi Chicken.

Been there couple of times. overall, found it worthy enough to spend time and have food with family, than most of family restaurants around this area (not many though) - ambience, service, cleanliness (don't know how is it inside the kitchen), food is fine (not great), good selection from bar, only family or corporate guests (my observations during both of my visits - dinner and lunch).

A bit over priced but totally worth the money. Service is sharp and food is a treat to the taste buds. Cool and calm ambience adds more stars to it, a must try place with family and friends to relax and hangout.

I have had food from swagath before on delivery, but this was my first visit there.<br/><br/>The ambience is quite good, and seeing its prices, I never imagined this better setup and service staff. This may be due to the reason that it was a red hot summer with just 2 tables filled.<br/><br/>Coming to the food. Nothing was that extra ordinary, though fish tikka hydrabadi and veg kebabs really suck.<br/><br/>Cheese chilly was a good one in veg. Non veg was just average. Breads were soft and served hot timely.<br/><br/>In sweets , gulab jamun with vanilla was cool, will recommend to have less of food and take it in the end. <br/><br/>Will not recommend you if you are a foodie. Swagath is the only good restaurant in Greater Noida according to me.<br/>The ambiance is good.<br/>Staff is polite and respectful.<br/>Food quality and taste is good and the value for money is decent too.<br/><br/>I am not saying the the food here is great but it's way better than the other restaurants in Greater Noida, both in terms of hygiene and taste.

Good south indian non veg & coastal food restaurant but not this particular branch. I hate when people serve just some sea fish & prawns & call it a coastal restaurant. For almost 2 years, whenever I have gone or tried to order Crab, it has not been available. The reason given is, no one orders here, you get it in Delhi or Noida. This is not justified, then why do you have branch here!!!! The price is going high for this restaurant at the same pace availibility of dishes are reducing. Dissapointed with this branch.<br/>11.02.17<br/>I again tried to place advance order for crab for tomorrow dinner, but they wanted order 3 days in advance. One Mr. Praveen was very arrogant and wasn't even interested to offer help organise, instead kept arguing how he can't help. I revise the rating from 3.5 to 2.0

Had lunch with some friends in Swagath. The veg starters were meh - sheek kebab & achari paneer. Friends had murg malai tikka - they liked it. <br/>In the main course, the dal makhni, malai kofta were pretty good. The roganjosh there is fabulous. The rara gosht was good. For dessert had kulfi - a bit grainy in texture - okish.<br/>Overall, a pretty decent experience.

This restaurant used to be good and economical. Recently, they have raised the prices so much that one needs to think twice to go or order from this restaurant. Butter chicken 8 pieces is Rs.725+taxes...which come to around Rs 900...the pieces are also small...It's better to go to Radisson hotel in Greater Noida rather than this overpriced restaurant which is charging 5 Star rates. If you want to waste your hard earned money, go to this restaurant...other STRICTLY AVOID SWAGATHI !

Been there in a large group and enjoyed thoroughly. They have a huge menu option and very authentic food.<br/><br/>If you have appreciation for sea food or in general enjoy variety of cuisines, this is the place to be. Although, if you are not a foodie, you will find it hard to justify their prices.

Extremely beautiful place to dine , food is awesome though highly price but is affordable in terms of quantity they delivery .Service is bit slow one has to wait for several minutes but once you had the awesome food you forget about the delay.
