Review Jodha Akbar Restaurant - Noida

Recommended by a friend, i tried my hands on this Food Delivery Option Jodha Akbar, i ordered from appetisers section of menu, the delivery was on time, food packaging was good and beautiful. What i had and how it tasted: Dahi ke kabab & Hara bhara kabab - The kebab was stuffed properly and were soft taste was mouthwatering. Paneer malai tikka: It was delicious soft large paneer pieces perfectly marinated with flavours. Tandoori murg was also prepared well and tastes well with green sauces provided along with it, chicken pieces were juicy and nicely coated in masala, it was really toothsome in flavours. Salad, raita, green chutney were provided along with spoons and tissue. Service was prompt, food was delicious, quality and quantity was appropriate, all in all i was pleased.

Been to this great place for a lunch. And came out satisfied! Starting from the decor it's great, the multicoloured theme was up to the point, from curtains to show cases. To keep the theme to it's ancient name they have menu written on a scroll which is quite fascinating and different. Moving on to the food they had some great starters. Perfectly spiced dahi k kebab were delicious for the price. Spring rolls were really good, also had a great portion. Among the mocktails, black current was my favourite, sweet with a punch of lime. Perfectly made and presented. Guava marry had a punch of guava mixed with soda to make come up really well. Among the main course the best we had was dal Makhni, dum aloo and murg masala. Each of these were perfect. Not so spicy either. Everything had enough quantities too. Among the desserts gulab jamun with ice cream was great, some hot gulab jamun with vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate syrup was the best dessert. To sum up i would say this place great for a family lunch or dinner. The crowd is good too. This place has great decors accommodated with some real good music. Overall: 4.5/5 Food: 4.5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Crowd: 5/5

Jodha akbar. The name reminded me of the huge Mahal where Hrithik is walking with Aishwarya. The decor was similar to that era only. Lighting, cute designs of the windows and the best part was the Menu. It was written in a scroll. Totally loved it. Also, the background music was very soothing. In short, i was in love with the Ambience. Now it was time to check the food. We started off with the Mocktails - Fresh Lime Soda - The tanginess is what it makes such a good drink. Black Current fizz - Tangy, sweet - liked the drink. Hawwaiian Blonde - looked so pretty, but was too sweet to handle. Guava Mary - A little spicy. Personally not a fan of Guava. Hence a no no for me. Coming to the Starters, we had - Spring roll - Crispy. That's how it was. Dahi ke Kebab - Not the softest Dahi ke kebab but tasted good. Tandoori Lollipop - Something new in the menu. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Hara Bhara Kebab - Very soft and Delicious. After the tasty starters, we moved on to the Main Course - Shahi Dal Makhni - Thick Dal makhni can lift your mood and this one did. Kashmiri Dum Aloo - Can be tried if you're looking for something different. Subze Korma - This was one good dish to try. All sorts of veggies prepared together which tasted quite good. Murgh Masala - The masala of the gravy was lip smacking. Totally loved it. Paneer Makhni - Creamy and tasty. After the delicious Main Course, it was time to end it with some Desserts - Gulab Jamun with ice cream - A small glass with ice cream in it and topped up with Gulab jamun. Do you need anything else? Shahi kheer - The Shahi kheer didn't taste so Shahi to me. Tasted average. Overall - A great place to try some authentic Mughlai food and go backin time and come back satisfied. Loved the place!

Jodha akhbar restaurant will give you feels of some royal dining. It is a great place for a romantic date or even family dinners. The ambience and service is on point too. Coming to the food, we tried dahi ke kebabs, paneer tikka and corn malai kebab. Dahi ke kebabs were crispy from outside and soft inside. The texture was amazing, secondly paneer tikka was perfectly toasted in tandoor. In the main course my recommendation is to try dal makhani and sabz e qorma. They both just give a gret taste with some butter naan and green chutney. Also,we tried some drinks like hawaiian blonde, virgin mojito and pina colada. These drinks are a must try, a mix of tangy and sweet flavour makes it complete. Overall, a simple royal themed restaurant which takes you back to the time of our history treasures with decent food and drinks.

Heard a lot about this place from friends and yesterday i got a chance to visit this place . As the name says ‘JODHA AKBAR’ , the restaurant theme was just like that and infact they will give you that caps to make the ambience quite lively. We started with mocktails : Fruit punch : quite good and fruity Black current : sweet and tangy Fresh lime soda : Must a try good one ☝️ Coming to starters: I had mushrooms buttons : They were really very good and properly baked Crispy spring rolls : The stuffing was good Dahi ke kebab and corn malai tikka : They both became my favourite, so soft and smooth. Panner tikka : It was okay type Then we ordered main course , in that we had Amritsari chole , dal makhni , paneer and mushroom , lacha parantha and rice Please try chole they were totally amazing . Im the end for desserts: We had gulab jamun with vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate syrup: Good combination and tasty

Went there with a few friends for lunch yesterday. As per the name the overall theme of this place has been kept royal from curtains to ceiling to artwork on walls. The place is not that big but has enough space/seating for almost 25-30 people i would say. Coming to the food- We had a couple of starters including dahi kebabs, corn malai seekh, spring rolls. Dahi kebabs were crispy from outside and although very smooth creamy and very well spiced from inside but I felt just a tad bit of dryness. Spring rolls were presented as shots and were very good, the outer layer was supremely crisp and filling was good too. But the star dish was the corn malai seekh, just melt in mouth soft with balanced spice level 👌. For the mains we had shahi dal makhni, pindi chana, subze korma, mushroom mughlai. The dal makhni although good in taste but was not that authentic in taste as one would like. Pindi chana was good, chanas were soft well cooked and the masala complementing it was good. Subze korma gravy/masala was very creamy and delicious in taste. The butter we had I felt were thin, bit the lacha paranthas were really soft 👍. For desserts we had gulab jamuns with ice cream and kheer. Gulab jamun with ice cream were served in small shot glasses, it is a combo made in heaven and you can never go wrong with this, but would jave liked my gulab jamun to be a bit more hot. I'm not much of a kheer person so for me the kheer was okay. The service was good too. Overall a very good experience, worth trying if you are around and looking for a good place to eat.

Impressive decorations and they dnt charge for this decoration. We booked this hall for my sister's birthday and to be honest i had a great time. Incredible dj but AC was not working properly and there was no AC on dance floor. But food taste was Good. Staff behaviour was ok. Everything was Great except AC . Maybe they Solved that issue. I visited here on 26th august 2019. If you have alot if friends and you want to have a dj party you can book this hall For a memorable time. ❤️

Loved the name and the vibe❤️ Got a chance to visit this place with few of my friends on weekend. As we went for a lunch- In Starters Veg- Paneer Tikka shashlik- soft and fresh Dahi ke Kabab- melted in the mouth🤤 In Starters Non Veg- Mutton barra- okayish, as I felt that salt was more in it. Chicken tikka- good💯 COMING to the Main Course Veg- Pindi Chana- the flavour was perfectly blended👑 And Main course Non Veg- Butter chicken- soft and creamy Dessert Gulab Jamun- good Double Ka meetha- not recommended❌ 💔 the staff here were very sweet but the service was extremely slow. Overall a good place for family get together👍🏻

Located above KFC Sector 18, Noida. The ambience is really good. Non veg is food is better than veg dishes. Service was really good. Prices are easy on pockets. Try once.

Very nice place to have a small party with close friends. This place is very nicely decorated in Akbar Style. A very royal touch is given to every aspect of this restaurant. The food here is too good and are pocket friendly as well. And the service is also very nice. We were nicely greeted and served well. Must try the Paneer Tikka Masala with naan, truly delicious. The place is quite small but is surely worth a visit.

I ordered food from jodha akbar yersterday . The food was hot and was delivered on time . The packing of the food was excellent and they even send you a greeting card which was something unique . Coming to food , i tried their murg -e-tawa khaas, himalayan paneer and schezwan rice. Murg -e-tawa khaas was excellent and certainly was one of the best i have ever had , himalayan panner was average nothing extraordinary and schezwan rice was also good. So overall a good experience👍

One of the most good food and mughlai restaurant. The name itself suggest the theme. Nice ambiance and good service. The taste are very good and Freshly cooked. Nice flavour of mughal type. Overall must visit restaurants or order from here ..!!

Jodha Akbar Restaurant is one of those typical Mughlai restaurants which are no fuss restaurants good for a family ousting with better than average food. Do order the Lagan Murg which is a classic Hyderabadi mughlai preparation.

Tried this theme restaurant in Sector 18 and was amused with the pretty decor and ambience. Good food , music and ambience it is an ideal place for family and friends alike who like Indian cuisine!! Starting with the Drinks They have a lot of variety in their mocktails section. I personally loved the fresh lime soda 4/5 The virgin mojito was also up to the mark 4.5/5 The best drink was the fruit pukch , zingy and refreshing! 5/5 The guava mary and bloody mary were exactly like your cocktails minus the alcohol! 4.5/5 Starters- Loved their chilly fish a lot ! 5/5 The chicken tikka and paneer tikka were excellent! Good quantity as well ! So a paradise for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Tandoori lollipop here was a different dish altogether 4/5 Their dahi kebabs and hare bhare kebabs were mouth smacking good 5/5 Main course Loved their daal makhani and paneer makhni ! 5/5 The naan were crispy and fresh ! Mouth watering food The Kashmiri dum alloo tasted too good ! 5/5 We also tried their noodles which were pretty good for a restaurant who serves Indian cuisine! 4.5/5 We also ordered masala papad on the side Dessert We ordered two desserts and both were absolutely delicious- gulab jamun with icecream is a must must try at this place ! And the kheer was shahi as the name suggests! Overall a good place for a lazy lunch brunch afternoon! Would definitely visit again !

This place was in my 'bookmark' for quite a while, and today I got the opportunity to be here. I was excited for this. It's ambiance is not very lavish, but it's perfect to hangout and chill peacefully with your friends and loved ones. Also with your family. As the name suggests, the theme of the restaurant is based on 'Jodha Akbar' and it's speciality is suppose to be Mughlai cuisine, though they serve Chinese and North Indian food also. I was welcomed by their staff with a smile, and was seated right on. I ordered 'Black Current Fizz' which came in few minutes and was a perfevt drink to start my day. I also tried 'Hawwaiian Blonde' and honestly, I didn't quite like it. It tasted more like chilli, maybe because of so much tobasco in it. 'Fruit Punch' and 'Fresh Lime Soda' was delicious as well, but Black Current Fizz was my favorite. Coming to starters, I LOVED 'Chicken Malai Tikka', it was the best, and also my all time favorite. Their 'Dahi ke kebab' tasted good as well. Also liked their 'Paneer Tikka'. But my most favorite dish was 'Corn Malai Seekh'. It melted in my mouth, and was super delicious and super soft. It was excellent! Beyond words. Main course was excellent. Mutton was perfectly cooked and was soft, which added extra flavor to it. Chicken gravy was quite delicious. I was totally impressed by it. Their 'naan bread' was soft and not chewy. I also had 'Jeera Chawal' aling with my gravy and dal, and it was one of the best meals I've had recently. And in my special part of course is dessert. I had 'Gulab Jamun with ice cream' and it was the winner. 'Shahi Kheer' didn't taste that good. It could be made better. But the star of the was 'Corn Malai Seekh' and 'Gulab Jamun with Ice cream'. These two dishes made my day. I'll definitely come back to have more of this place.

When I entered this place, I was impressed with the interiors as they totally justified their name. Jodha Akbar is a themed restaurant following the mughal era in Sector 18. The place was neat and spacious enough. An ideal place for family and friends who like to taste Indian cuisine plus the songs which were getting played in the background were amazing. Starting with the Drinks: Virgin Mojito: Met my expectations and recommended. Guava Mary Was Really outstanding. (Recommended) Presentation and Taste : 4.5/5 Starters: Spring Rolls: Multiple small pieces comparative to other outlets and was perfectly crispy. Presentation: 4/5 Taste: 4/5 Paneer Tikka was loved by my friends as it was spicy. It was a bit spicy for me. Perfectly cooked. Presentation: 3.5/5 Taste: 4/5 Main Course: We tried Dal makhni and Veg Korma (as suggested by some of my friends). Veg Korma is actually a must try, nicely prepared and was served hot. Taste was good and not too much spicy (which is a plus point for me) Breads were freshly prepared and crispy. Served hot. Dessert We ordered Gulab Jamun with Icecream which was absolutely delicious and is a must must try at this place!! Service was quick and staff was polite and friendly. Overall a super amazing experience. :) Would love to visit again. :)

Based on the theme of the Mughal era..Jodha Akbar Definitely the ambience is as per the name. This place is Clean and Spacious, no cluttered tables or anything. To start with - Paneer Spring rolls were amazzzing!! Paneer tikka was average. But you can try Hara bhara Kebab, Dahi ke kebab - they were simply perfect, soft and creamy from inside and little crispy from outside Mocktails - All the cocktails were punchy but a little more on sweet side, like Blackcurrant fizz could have been perfect if it was a little less sweet, Bloody Mary and Guava Mary was very well made. Also the best mocktail would be Hawaiian Blonde, one must try it. Main course - Best dish I had was Veg Korma, this dish had mushroom beans with a sweetish thick curry! It's a MUST have. Shahi Dal makhni was perfect with a crisp tandoori roti. Other breads like Naan and Laccha parantha were also at par. If you are fond of Stuffed Dum aloo then you can also try Kashmiri dum aloo. Dessert - Gulab jamun with ice cream is worth it.. also one can try Shahi kheer if you are a Kheer lover, it was a little low on sugar. Service - Good enough Ambience - Already mentioned, Spacious, clean and decorated very colorful on Mughal theme. Overall, I would recommend this place

We North indians love mughlai cuisine wether it is butter chicken, mutton rogan josh, chicken tikka etc. There is something beguile about this cuisine. No doubt about it.But what if the food is served in an ambience which is also similar to the cuisine. So that's what happened with me this time I went to this outlet which has been designed according to the cuisine.Oil lamps were installed along with the beautiful artwork done on the wall which was quite exquisite.Moving on to the staff and the service well the staff was very courteous and were fully acknowledgeable about the product which they were offering to us and service which they have given to us was kinda felt freakish to me..Moving on to the quality and execution of the food aspects well the starters was spellbounding we have ordered around 6-8 starters and they were wondrous. Then talking about the main course items. No matter whatever we ordered wether it is a pindi chana to paneer or paneer to chicken it was phenomenon. The gravy and the pieces of mutton and chicken were extraordinary and the tenderness of the chicken was 'wowey' for me.Also the vegetarian dishes were also spellbounding as well and no undercooking was found there ..Also there were some beverages which we have ordered. The hawaiian blend was a killer strike for me ..it literally hits at the bulls eye of my tongue ...and make me astouned...The place is a must a visit

I was eagerly waiting to visit this place because the name attracted me too much. When entered this place gave me a soothing vibe and amazing music tracks. Coming to the food part- I tried- corn seekh kabab which was well cooked. Mutton barra- I didn't like it much as salt was more in it. Chicken Tikka and Malai tikka were average. Dahi k kabab were good Oreo and KitKat shakes are must have- be it because of the presentation part or the Taste Just amazing Coming to the dessert- gulab jamun were good. Shahi kheer was just opposite it's name. Overall good

Although the interiors were good and certainly matched the name and theme of the restaurant, the service was extremely pathetic. The waiter who was serving wanted to order as soon as we can and just eat and leave. There were no drinks available as written in the menu. If the services are improved this place will do much better.

The food, the service, the entire experience was TERRIBLE. There was a corporate lunch organised recently and the entire experience was horrendously bad. There were a few fixed starters available. Once the tray was exhausted, no refills were made available. No soft drinks were served, till we repeatedly asked for them. There was no one to clear the empty plates off the table. Food was to be served at 2pm. It got served at 3:45pm.<br/><br/>Very very disappointed with the overall experience and the taste of the food.

First of all ambience is very good. Decoration mindblowing. But price in high. Take too much time to prepare food. I have waited more than 30 minutes for my order.

It says 39mins delivery time...and after waiting for 45 long mins it suddenly cancels the order...pathetic experience. Do not take the order in first place if you can not fulfill it. Sakshi Noidacravings

I was planning a party at my place so thought of ordering starters from JOHDA AKBAR, so i called them the previous day and they confirmed to my order. On the day of my party they did not pick any of my calls, even after having a discussion with them the previous day. It was unreliable and unprofessional of the entire Jodha Akbar team.

This is one of the best fine dine restaurants to have your meal with family. They served some of the best north indian food with quality service. This place is famous for its mughlai food. We went here for dinner and ordered Dal Makhni, Paneer Lababdar and Lachha Parantha.<br/><br/>Dal Makhni is so creamy and well cooked. Really liked the taste. Paneer was so soft and the gravy tasted just perfect.<br/>I also liked the breads. Lachha Parantha was so crispy, just how we like it.<br/><br/>The service is prompt. We got our food in no time. And everything looked freshly made. It’s a great place for north indian and mughlai food lovers. Highly recommended!

1. Pathetic entrance to Restaurant.<br/>2. Lift was not functioning for entire 3 hrs of stay. All guests had to use , shabby, unsafe, injury prone, Dangerous Stairs.<br/>3. AC ducts, live electrical Wires were hanging out on Stairs. 100% unsafe.<br/>4. No provision for Lights on such dangerous and risky Staircase.<br/>5. Entire floor had smell of fungus/Molds.<br/>6. Kitchen was just next door to the sitting area. Which was in pathetic Condition.<br/>7. Absolutely no Fire escape. In an event of any fire, be assured that 100% of people will die for sure.<br/><br/>8. Only plus point: the food was good.<br/><br/>9. There was no technician available to mend the fault in lift. Only few underaged boys/Servers were repeatedly turning ON/OF switch. God forbid if anyone gets stuck in old rickety lift !!!<br/>But will never advise anyone to visit this place at all. It's just not safe. Pictures attached speak for themselves.

Ambience is quite dark but good if you want that historic vibe... Food and service is really tasty specially mix veg... It was surprisingly damn good

Had a disastrous experience at this place... staff is very weird, they are not rude but they are hardly interested in entertaining you, you have to wait for ages for your food to come and when it comes what you get are the noodles soaked in oil n the manchurian in which they forget to fry the manchurian balls properly.

It was an absolute delight to visit Jodha Akbar. The place is perfect to visit with friends and family. The host was very welcoming and the service was really quick. Almost everything I had was a delicacy. Chilly Chicken and Tandoori were succelent and Dal Makhani and Paneer Lababdar were mouth-watering.<br/>The chef kept special care of the specifications mentioned and food served was hot. Very nice dining experience in Jodha Akbar. Went with family for my wife's birthday celebration. Very nice and professional staff. On my request the manager had arranged a very beautiful cake for our celebration. After cake cutting started with Veg platter: all the starters in a single platter. It was just amazing. Best of all was Dahi ke Kababs. The Aam Panaa was amazingly refreshing. In main course, we had Paneer Lababdaar and butter nan. Also had Murgh Dum Biriyani. Portion was sufficient for 2-3 person. Taste was very good. Perfectly cooked, nice flavours of spices. Price is not heavy on your pocket. Overall we enjoyed very well.<br/><br/>I'll definitely recommend for this restaurant.

Had a great dinner here with my friends. The food was perfectly cooked and the decor is lovely as well. would come back to explore more from the menu

Going for a date with your partner? Want a shahi style mughlai dinner? Jodha akbar is the place for you. The ambience of the place will take you to a trip with the mughals. The food is really good and it doesn't disappoint you for the word "Shahi". A bit costly but its worth the money.
Preeti
This us a wonderful place if you decide to go out and eat but at the same time, this a a bad choice for food delivery. With zomato's super attractive discount you might end up ordering good amount of food but you will recieve half the portion size. Very disappointed with the home delivery experience.
Md Imran
My experience is good. Me and my friends had a dinner buffet here. Jodha Akbar offers good lunch and dinner buffet at reasonable prices. The North Indian stuff is good.

So they decided to do a giveaway on their instagram handle and i won. After that they msged me that their auditor is saying "1.) I'm not a girl. 2.) My instagram profile is not genuine enough." So they wont give me the vouchers. Just after when i pointed out that are you guys seriously looking only for girls with huge number of followers to be the winner. They immediately chose a new "boy" winner and then msged that "New Winner is a guy tho"<br/>Like seriously??? Do does that? Just because my instagram username is not my real name. They said we cant give you vouchers. They said im a imposter XDDD 😂😂 and my profile is not genuine. Just check this profile and tell me if this profile looks genuine enough to you or not. Why god why Do you serve Cold drink In a Paper cup which seems like "Niche wale juice wale se lekar aaye ho"<br/>Before I go any further let me say that the Food is great Service Sucks .<br/>There is no coordination between departments and Sometimes You can hear The server say On phone "Yeh Zomato walo Ka Khaana laa do "which is every unprofessional .<br/>I didn't like the visit to wait for 45 min to even offer starters is a dampher for the mood .<br/>But the food was good .Gobbling down stuff on a empty stomach does that I suppose.<br/>Hated the gulab jamun and Kheer as Sweet delicacies what we're they undigestable .<br/>And Chicken lollipop looks like A kids lolly from a chicken dolly .<br/>Service 1<br/>Food 4<br/>Ambience 3.5<br/>Overall 3

This is the best restaurant in the city for non veg food . Awesome service and very friendly staff. They take minimal time to prepare the delicious recipes.
Ankit Gupta
Yes, the food is good and ambience is average also. In veg starters, spring roll and hakka noodles were tasty and in non veg, we have tried ajwaini fish Tikka, which was tender and soft.<br/>Dinner items were tasty as expected, but given 1 star less only for the plastic bowls ( like in bhandara) were given to us when we asked for the bowls for dal makhani, which was shocking !!<br/>And yes, service was not up to expectations, very slow . Overall , good experience. Food supercedes the all flaws.
Karisma Praharaj
Being a foodie we like exploring places. We went to dis place after seeing the review of 4 star...however to our surprise nothing was good. The service is too too poor . No one cares. Food was so so...much lower in taste as compared to other restaurants. They do not have finger bowl . When we asked they told is to wash our hands. This was one of the worst experiences over a period of time

Given the name, it is but fitting that the spices and cuisine of the royal kitchens of the Mughal dynasty are the speciality here. Plush seating and mirrors-and-chandeliers décor gives the space an old school emperor’s courtroom look. Mouth-watering kebabs, prepared with authentic spice rubs and cooked to perfection are definitely the thing to order at this restaurant. Start your meal with one of the (I am yet to replace the food and beverage names after refering the menu) Thandai, from Kacche Aam Ka Panna to Boondi Jaljeera and Kalakhatta Shikanji. For vegetarians, the Dahi Kebab is a good bed, and meat eaters should try the Rumwaali Masaledaar Chops, which indeed, have a drizzle of rum, or the slow-cooked Shahi Tawa Nalli. There are a plethora of chicken, mutton and seafood (fish and prawn) items to choose from for mains as well as starters.<br/><br/>Insider Tips: <br/><br/>The Sultani Platter (available in veg and non-veg) is a good way to experience a few different starters and kebabs from the menu, in one go<br/>Portions are quite generous and good for sharing between two or three folks<br/>Do not miss out on the biryanis, which are beautifully cooked and really flavorful.<br/><br/>Overall, the restaurant has a good variety of Indian, Afghani and Mughlai spread with elaborate spread of vegetarian and non vegetarian delicacies. And the ambience is sure to make you feel like a king or, a queen and you will just not stop eating until you are high on food!

The food of jodha akhar is not so good its just normal in taste. But the place is so beautiful with the good theam.<br/>For photoshoot it is a good place. Service of this restro is also ok.<br/>Jodha Akbar Restaurant

Horrible experience...ambiance was not as shown in photo...it was very dull ...without any colorful lights...Live.music was just 3rd class...sound system was poor...Food came in 40min...I was with family & friends & it was very embarrassing..
Rudrajit Banerjee
Good experience! The place is a bit small, so feels more crowded than it is. But, apart from that, everything is perfect. We tried Tandoori Chicken, Paneer Lababdar, Dal Makhani and Garlic Butter Naan. And they nailed it to perfection.<br/><br/>Super courteous staff too. Our food came in after just 20 odd minutes, yet they apologised for the delay twice. Good experience overall. The live music was good, but feels unnecessary. Considering how small the place is, probably a soothing Indian classical or jazz background music would've worked better.<br/><br/>Food: 5/5<br/>Service: 5/5<br/>Ambiance: 3/5<br/><br/>Would recommend to a friend!<br/><br/>

I have been there with my friend we order malai paneer tikka, Rogan josh, cold drink, butter naan and sahi tukda & gulab jamun with vanilla icecream. The place ambiance was really good, taste of non vegetarian food was really authentic and good but i found vegetarian food average. I suggest one must go in the evening time, at the day time shakes and some items are not available.

Went to sec 18 Noida with my friend and for lunch we chose this place..Ambiance was one of the main attraction😍......We ordered Starters like tandoori paneer tikka, Shahi tukda , rogan Josh , tandoori roti n much more..<br/>1. Quality and quantity of the food was enough for two people.<br/>2.Service was quick, we don't have to wait for order so long<br/>3. Staff was coperative, items also was reasonable<br/>4.Taste of the food was upto the mark ..fullfilled our expectations 😊<br/>

The food was good but the place need renovation. We tried chicken changezi and rogan josh and both was good. Courteous staff and musical night too. Only drawback was ambience

It was an amazing experience. Food and ambience was amazing . This is one of the must try restaurant. Portion was quite big and satisfying our hunger. Waiters take orders nicely. Loved the place not only because of its historic ambiance but because of its royal essence. The food is incredible and it literally beared away my heart. I would love to recommend it to all the mates who are looking out for a fine dine with a divine experience. ❤<br/>

The non vegetarian food is amazing, I love the mutton Korma. I would really recommend it to all the non vegetarians. The ambience is great as well and the live music nights are a cherry on the top. The staff is very cordial and cooperative. Make sure you book a table because the restaurant gets very busy in rush hours. But worth it for the food!!
Rajat Mehra
Food is eatable. But their pathetic service totally kills it. We had booked a table using Zomato’s reservations and upon reaching there the guy reacted as if we had come unannounced to a pub on a packed Saturday evening. In any case, it was even half full so there wasn’t really a need to have a reservation. On the service part, we had to repeatedly call the server as they just would bother checking on us. Very sad service. The guys just didn’t seem to be wanting to serve guests. Food was ok. Although they could have done better at making the dishes saltier. Also, malai paneer tikka had the tikka part missing - it had the sweet malai and the paneer which wasn’t cooked on the charcoal. We returned it and they took 30 minutes to bring it back again half-cooked. Overall, on the value-for-money part, this place is big ZERO.

Making this post elaborate to make it more relatable:<br/>Visited today for lunch with office mates. The ambience was cosy and descent. This restaurant was thinly populated(it would be correct only to say we were the only customers there today). <br/><br/>Service started as usual but caught us, on the wrong note when a few glasses were not clean which were promptly replaced on bringing this to notice. While we ordered for non-veg platter and veg platter along with main course dishes(to save time), we asked for pickled onion(sirka pyaaz).<br/><br/>Pickled onions did arrive on the table but many of them were stale and spongy with a bad taste. On highlighting this the staff, instead of apologizing and replacing them promptly, started giving reasons(onions have been soaked long in the vinegar solution) why they are this way. As if it was our failure to ensure that the pickled onions remained crunchy and tasty.<br/><br/>The wait started. After 30 minutes we waited some more and after about 45 minutes when we asked the order taker, he said we do not readily make the items and serve the items but make them fresh with every order. This spiked our senses as we expected yummy food. <br/><br/>The Non-veg platters arrived first and were they wonderful? you bet your taste buds they were wonderful. It's quite some time since I had some good non-veg starters. <br/><br/>Seeing our experience, vegetarian friends began expecting something similar but boy, were they in for a surprise. Not only the veg starters were delayed and the first plate to arrive was after 90 mins, but they were equally distasteful. we tasted some, to find the mushrooms were deliciously cooked and the remaining were just bland. Hara bhara kababs were undercooked, paneer tikka were large chunks of paneer with only the top layer being slightly cooked and undercooked Dahi ke kebabs.<br/>The situation flared up when the staff tried to justify the taste(which implicitly questioned the taste buds of our vegetarian friends ;) ). Instead of trying to make the situation better the staff started justifying the bad taste, the delay and overall everything. Our vegetarian friends being true to their taste buds promptly got up and left the restaurant. They could have stayed back if coaxed a little bit in an apologetical/humble tone. The staff instead, argued that they have prepared the main course and will go waste as our guys were being unreasonable. The tone of the staff, the taste of the food and OH I forgot the pathetic soft drinks(out of fizz, soft drinks and watery thin lassi) was too much to take and our friends left.<br/><br/>We(the non-vegetarian bunch) stayed back adamantly to try the non-veg food as we had the trailer in the form of starters and wanted the full movie now. The non-veg main course consisting of mutton rogan josh, changezi chicken, jeera rice, chicken biriyani, keema paratha(a must try) took us to the next level. Although we felt really sorry for our friends but were glad to stay back and try our luck on the non-vegetarian main course. <br/><br/>Now rating in brief for all who don't have time:<br/><br/>Ambience: 3 *<br/>Service: 3*<br/>Staff helpfulness and courtesy: 1.5*<br/>Non-vegetarian food: 5*<br/>Vegetarian food: 1* STAY AWAY<br/>soft drinks: 1* - many on the menu were not even available<br/><br/>Note: an on-demand complimentary ice cream were served to the remaining non-veg that was gooey and not firm.<br/><br/>Would recommend to someone who is a non-vegetarian, has tremendous patience and ignores everything else over tasty non-vegetarian food.

Great place for official lunch party, amazingly served chicken and taste , courteous staff and the beet e vulgaris was amazing. definitely gonna come back . Thanks Team Jodha

Making the perfect blend of Mughlai cuisine is hard and very few restaurants gets it. Jodha Akbar is one of them. And if you try different places and then have to go back and choose that serves the authentic taste and is consistent every damn time, have to choose Jodha Akbar without fail.
Krishna Agarwal
Its one of the best places if you want to have a large team outing lunch or dinner. They serve there dishes beautifully and the restaurant staff helps a lot. The tandoori murgh was my favourite and i am definitelt going to order it again. Kudos to Jodha Akbar. Keep up the good work.

I went there on my Birthday with a couple of friends for a lavish lunch and it actually lived upto my expectations and more. The non-veg is amazing and the vegetarian dishes are no less. The staff & owner were very helpful and explanatory, they made sure i had an amazing lunch buffet with my friends there. <br/>The ambience is perfect with beautiful interiors and lighting. Parking can be a little difficult but i would definitely take that risk for the food. I am surely going to recommend this place in Sector 18 main market to my friends and family for special events.

Great place to have mughlai and North Indian food, great food and great music ,sector view and great service, courteous staff and live music made it perfect for dinner.

A good place for Mughlai and north Indian cuisine. I ordered butter chicken with butter roti. The food was good but the ambiance can be a little better. But overall the place is good for casual outing.

Heard a lot about this restaurant based in Noida Sector 18 main market. I went there on a special occasion with my friends and loved it to the core. North Indian and Mughlai they are the best in both. I love there innovate starters and desserts, but what won my heart was the Dal Makhani - its creamy, perfect consistency and taste. I would definitely recommend foodies all over Delhi to come here and try for themselves. Also adding to the charm is there LIVE MUSIC performances. Its clearly the best in Noida. The owner Mr. Ankit is very a sweet guy and makes sure the customer is attended well. Will visit again. :D

Good experience, live music made it charming, food was great and courteous staff. Harabhara kebabs made deliciously and served beautifully..

Ordered an entire lunch at this place. And its definitely worth a try. The service was very good. Staff Served very politely... and every dish we ordered was very tasty, except the dahi kebabs, which were a little too sweet... should’ve been a bit spicy rather than sweet. Rest everything was very very good. More than the expectation and worth a visit ♥️♥️

I ordered some stuff from them last night. They accepted the order and it went to the kitchen for preparation. Zomato assigned a delivery person to the order. At 11.40 pm suddenly they rejected the order. Received a call from Zomato about the same. Apologising. Where would a person go at that hour specially when 4 hungry people are sitting with you. I find this highly highly unprofessional and unethical. I will never order from a such a restaurant and will not recommend anyone to order. If you order you may remain hungry. Choice is yours...

If you enjoy live music, especially ghazal and Sufi and love North Indian food taste, visit this place. Service and staff behaviour is good. Environment is decent and relaxing.

Heard a lot about this restaurant but was dissatisfied <br/>Ordered butter chicken, mutton nihari and chicken biryani with tandoori rotis<br/>Butter chicken was bland with no salt..<br/>Nihari s gravy was nice but the pieces were too tough<br/>Chicken biryani wasnt great<br/>Had an average experience

There food is good but little over pricey too.<br/>Presentations are average and so is the service <br/>Ambience is still good for family outings.<br/>I liked there mocktail.

I went to Jodha Akbar on a Friday with a couple of friends. The ambience of the place was very good and there was even a live performance that day. The quality as well as the quantity of the food was exceptional, specially the mutton curry which had minced mutton in the gravy and was perfectly balanced in terms of spices. I had also ordered a virgin mojito which was of the perfect consistency. Overall very happy with the experience I had here!

The staff was unaware of the dishes on the menu, we specifically asked for boneless dishes and he suggested two dishes, when served, one turned out to be a keema based dish and the other was not boneless. The ambience was good, but the staff is horrible.

Its the worst experience that I have ever had with any restaurant. We went for party and ordered 2 veg and 2 non veg dishes. The non veg dishes were like raw spices half cooked. No original taste. Veg dishes were even worst.<br/>On the service part: One of our member were not having glass of water. The waiter picked a glass from one of the sitting person and gave it to the person who have asked for it. We asked for spoons but got it after we finished with the food.<br/>Guys please never visit this place for good food. The price is same as of Desi Vibes which is one of the best in Noida.

Jodha Akbar restaurant on first and second floor with lift facility owned  with mughlai culture.<br/><br/>In between hustle bustle sector 18 market this place is quite peaceful where food is served as Mughals were used to enjoy earlier. and i enjoyed romantic music.

Had ordered Goan fish curry, the taste was not up to the mark. There were some ingredients missing probably. The fish was fried and put in the gravy, not at all Goan style. The Naan ordered was rubbery. Would not order again

A small but nice place with very good in their taste of food. I also loved the ambiance which was very beautifully decorated with fairy lights. We ordered tandoori lollipop and murg lababdar with garlic naan bread which was very tasty especially tandoori murg was very nice. Only the service was little late.
