Review Bamboo Shoots - Noida

Looks and ambience from outside/inside maybe not look good. But they have very good menu as well as good foods. They also have good cocktails. I ordered Thai green curry (chicken) & steamed rice and LIIT here. And both taste amazing.

Lovely ambience. Great food and service. Pretty exclusive menu.

Great food with good portion size Have been their customer business a long time and they have maintained their quality

A nice place to hangout with friends. Ambiance is good and service is on time. It's pretty affordable too compared to other restaurants in the same line. However, they really need to lighten up the place properly. Lighting has to be more brighter as yellow dim lights make the place boring. Rest is fine. Weekdays to best day to dine.

This is one of the perfect destination for a real foodie person. This place offers a range of veg and non veg cuisines. Even the buffet packages are super awesome and who regret missing any favourite food items. It's located at a very prime location of sector 18, Noida. Commuting here is very convenient by any means of transport. Above all, the ambience and the behavior of restaurant staffs adds extra satisfaction to your perfect dining experience. Strong recommendation!!

Bamboo shoots has been awesome Chinese food option whenever we think of Dining in sector-18 Noida. It might seem to be a simple look and feel from outside look but menu and taste of each dish here is awesome and authentic Chinese.

It has always been a great experience every time I dined at this place . It is a cosy place which can be recommended for both families and friends. The Chinese and Thai cuisine served is commendable with wide variety of dishes having delicious taste. The staff is hospitable too. #LetsGuide # Chinese # Thai # non-vegetarian

Don't go if you are vegetarian!

I am vegetarian, but as insisted by my friends I went to this place, you can try mushroom in the starters, a good dish for veggies but all other is just (no comments)

Manager asked to fill the suggestion form, and there I gave them good, good, good. Bit as annoying a person can be, manager himself came and asked if we could change the same to awesome great.

I have ordered from Bamboo Shoots today, bill attached, and it is very sad to say that all soup packets received were damaged, in fact chicken pieces were found in veg pieces, this is pathetic service delivery

Ordered Mutton Biryani and Chicken with bell pepper and dried chillies. Food was good. Nothing exceptional. But worth a try once.

While I love their food and quality...I am often disappointed by their delivery service...so enjoy their meals at the restaurant and avoid home delivery...its been over 1.30 hour, and I am still awaiting by food...

This is probably that one place in sec 18 that still provides cozy, comfort food ! I have time and again been here for Chinese food and their sea food. It’s one of the best.

Absolutely, try their mustard chilli prawns for all you prawn lovers out there :)

Dissatisfied with both the taste and level of service. Food delivered was super duper spicy though I have clearly mentioned to make every item less spicy. On calling them, they simply ignored saying we will call you in sometime and never got any response.
This is probably the first few restaurants of Noida sector 18, it is still good, over the time it has become more of an Indian restaurant, the Chinese bhel is good innovation, common hot n sour soup is a good one, so is veg sui Mai, in the main course, wok tossed chinese greens and chicken Teriyaki with steamed rice also score high

I have been to this place quite a few times and ordering food from them since more than 15 years. They never disappoint me.They do a few customisation as per the taste and service is mostly upto the mark.I like their talumein soup, veggies in almond sauce,Mongolian chicken, salt and pepper vegetables.
I have recently visited this restaurant with a friend. The place is nice.... Food was ok, nothing special but good...Service is definitely not good, it was so slow..not coming back for sure

Food and ambience both are equally poor... Bad choice of room freshener... Dhaniya in Nasi Goreng???? Marinated chicken in Nasi Goreng.. quality over years has gone from excellent to extremely poor.
If you are going with your family, think twice. They serve excellent food, really excellent. But the story ends with that. Last time, when we had visited them, somehow, we sat at their ground floor, in place of their basement. Suddenly four drunkards sat on the nearby table, and they started to converse in the most filthy and loud way, we had listened in our life. None of the staff was interested in maintaining the order. having no option, our whole family left the place, obviously after paying the bill, and settled ourselves in another restaurant. The most surprising part was that none of the staff tried to stop us when we were leaving the facility without consuming the food. So, next time think twice before you visit Bamboo shoots along with the family.

Revamped space does not mean good food.
I went with my family to Bamboo shoots, Noida and the dinner was pathetic. We had ordered veg and non veg food and nothing was good . Food was smelling bad and taste was the worst. I wonder how it is serving till date. A strong no to everyone. My son hardly ate anything and so did we. Got most it packed and now don't know what to do with it.

Also, we paid by card and after swiping the water took the card in basement and we told the manager that money has been already paid, then we got the card back. I assume they were trying to misuse it or what's the reason, we don't know.

To top it all, I am a Zomato Gold holder and It feels i have wasted my Unlocks on such food.
Attaching a copy of our Bills.
Well I am visiting this place from so long and let me tell you since they have stopped their specialty for serving Chinese and mixed this with bistro dinning they have ruined their taste, I visited them on 28th of April for dinner and was ready dissatisfied with the taste and level of service. Almost all the tables what we noticed were dissatisfied, it use to be a good option for all time dinning but not now. Only few words pathetic, pathetic and pathetic.... kindly change your attitude or else no one would ever come here again

9810488769

BAMBOO SHOOTS delivers a MANGOLIAN CHICKEN !!

And after that crazy hailstorm to have hit Noida it was time to get cosy with some chinese affair. Now we have been regular to bamboo shoots since the early 2000s when probably it was the go to destination in sector 18 market. We had tried the other restaurants and thought of going back to the old fav the only exception being that this would be a delivery set up from BAMBOO SHOOTS

We ordered VEG CHILLI GARLIC NOODLES AND MANGOLIAN CHICKEN. It was supposed to be light and enough for two kinds for a Friday evening (8th Feb). The delivery had a minor hiccup in the sense that had to seek the support for the zomato guys since the order pick up didnt show any progress close to the delivery time and it raised doubts if the order was coming to us on time. Thankfully it got sorted out in a span of ten minutes when the delivery guy stood outside with the package.

Hmm nothing to write about the packaging when the earlier deliveries had been much better in terms of seals and add ons. But this was decent. the noodles box was sealed and the chicken dish was warm and no leakages. The ketchup for a chinese dish seemed to be an overkill but it was there.

THE VEG CHILLI GARLI NOODLES - a little on the yellow brownish hues that one typically associated with garlic noodles. We felt it could have done with more garlic flavor

MANGOLIAN CHICKEN - thick pasty with lots of chicken pieces. All in line with the expectation. I think the beauty of the dish is that it be eaten in one go and not made to undergo reheat as it looses the kind of texture and crispness when done the second time. This one was decent and held on to its originality in the second round too. All in all decent.

#FOODIE_BYTES RATING

#Food Presentation - 2.5/5

#Food Ingredient Add on - 2.5/5 (two pouches of ketchup and chilis)

#food Taste - 3/5

Ease of consuming - 3.5/5

#Money - 3/5 (Rs 893 inclusive of taxes, packaging and delivery charges )

#Shareable - 3/5 (just good enough for two)

Venue Ambience - NA

#Food PACKAGING - 2.5/5

#SERVICE (delivery only) - 3/5 (was almost on time but yes had to follow up )

Date of order for delivery in noida- 8th feb , 2019 (Friday)

Bamboo shoot is not a new name for Noida circuit....

Been coming here since years now, loads of changes have come up in terms of interiors, that are really chick with nice frames which have some nice content written on them....

The food remains amazingly tasty and perfectly presented....
I enjoyed Kasundi Fish Finger ,Chicken butter pepper garlic,Soya keema nanza and Mini corn cigar rolls with mozzarella....

Main course also had amazing variety to Hogg on....

Followed by dessert, though I m desi meetha lover so enjoyed Matka kulfi but the angrezi date pancakes stole the dessert show....

Cheers to the bamboo shoot team for making it more enjoyable....

#wickedBhavi

I was in In Noida for a Business meeting and decided to have dinner in Noida.. So i decided to visit a Known Devil rather then the unknowns (newly opened food joints) When you visit a place after 7 Years what would you ecpect Good food, Service and the Reason you decided to come back after such a long gap.

My Order was Crispy Waterchestnuts Butter Chili Garli, Treasure Vegtables in Mustard Sauce & Hakka Noodles.

Crispy Water Chestnuts were amazing, Noodles were good but the Mustard Sauce was a disaster there was no flavour no aroma.

Service was good the staff knew how to maintain the decent diatnce form the table and still being avaialbe whenever customer required assistance.

Interiors were good after the renovation however the Sitting was not very comfortable you really need to look into the siting chairs.

Value for money i would say somewhat had been the main dish prepared the way it should i'm sure the review had been different but still not a 5 star.

One thing i apprecaite about the restaurant they took the pain to call me and take my feedback on the feedack form which i filled at the restaurant, you need to up your game by giving what you are selling not calling in a for a reconsiliation call. sory.

Overall a good experience nothing for which i will think of a re visit.

This place is the BEST. I had their tiger chicken and it was so yum. They spice and the flavours made the taste so great. We ordered them along with rice and lacha paratha, garlic noodles, Singapore prawns, butter garlic mushrooms, and the taste was impeccable. We also had their famous cocktails, the Burma green and Jaipur red. I love the unique names of their cocktails. We also had their most recommendable paneer makhni naanza. Naanza is a great innovation and they serve the best paneer makhni naanza. The taste was so pleasing and I bet there is no place that serves such delicious paneer makhni naanza. I also adore how well they have renovated the place. the prices as well are quite genuine according to the quality of food, the quantity they serve and the taste is for sure one of the best factors. I am so going to visit it again.

After a tiring day at College, I went to this place with my friends. The place has a nice ambience. The staff was very sweet and attentive. So I ordered tiger chicken, thai sambusa and tiffin meal. Tiger chicken had amazing taste. Just loved the way it was marinated. Thai sambusa was a samosa with a much better filling than just normal aloo. Tiffin meal had a quantity to fill 2 stomachs and also tasted delicious. I enjoyed my meal. Would love to come for more.

This is one of the best outlets in Noida region. No matter if it’s a party, a birthday celebration, a romantic dinner, or you are alone, you have so many things to enjoy here and it is the best. I tried their mocktail which was named Pattaya Sunrise. The flavour the drink was so strikingly good that I ordered another one of the same. I also had the Anda curry lunch tiffin meal, butter chicken samosa, bruschetta, and mutton biryani. The Anda curry was super yummy and eggs cannot do better than this. At last we also tried the Pan flavour ice cream which not only tasted good but smelled even great. The flavour charged our taste buds and eventually made us crave for more. I am impressed with the new additions they have made to the menu. I hope they start home delivery soon. I am going to have the ice cream again super soon.
Rate-o-meter
Taste 🌟 🌟🌟🌟 1/2
Service 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
VOM 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

So, I heard that this restaurant called Bamboo Shots has renovated itself and is coming up with great additions on their menu and I was so intrigued to take a visit as this has been one of my favorite restaurants in town and they are pretty famous as well. so, I with some of my friends went and we ordered their hari mirch roti along with lehsuni palak corn, chicken dim sums, vegetable spring roll, chicken man chow soup. This was the best palak corn I ever had. The corn was great, the palak tasted so great with the flavour of garlic and the hair mirch roti added the spice and the combination overall made it overwhelming for all of us. After the dinner we had their moca rage. I tell you, there is no better dessert than this in the whole of Delhi. A must visit place if you are looking for some good food.

Wow is the word I have to say for bamboo shoots new looks & their new food & beverage menu. The place is quite spacious and ambience looks great. A new must is their new creative Indian section although a small selection. Pioneers in Chinese for over two decades. The broccoli almond dim sum , hing daaal tadka & chilli olive naan was nice. Dim Sum dips was out of the world.
All the dishes were freshly made and tasted superb also well presented. It's a nice place to have amazing food with affordable prices.
Staff are friendly and attentive which is a plus.
Nice to see old faces of Mr Puran & Mr Verma.
Amazing experience and will come soon to explore more dishes from there menu.
I love this place since years. Earlier they used to serve the best Chinese food in Delhi NCR but now they have made so many additions to the menu and the taste of all them is super great as well. I tried their Chicken Dhaniya adraki and it tasted bliss. The flavour of the adrak and other spices gave the hint of the best north Indian food to the chicken. We had them with butter naan. Naan were compelling too. They were soft and crisp. I also loved how the quantity of the food they served was great so it is was a pretty amazing experience for me. To wind up the meal, I ordered their beerita which is the best cocktail they have. Overall my experience was super good and I will definitely recommend this place to all those who want to have a good time at a good place with some really good food. We also had popcorn caramel mocktail, Kalia cocktail- kaala khatta, and chicken fried rice.
Thepicureansoul
Nice new looks --- more spacious & bright.
We ordered - Chinese Bhel (fusion version of Indian bhel with Chinese seasoning), Kali mirch tikka brushettas (french version of brushettas but made on naan with Indian flavours), prawn hargao (excellent new dips), kasundi fish finger(mustard flavour ). For mains we tried lehsuni palak corn, talli dal (flamed on table), & the old tried & tested kung pao chicken. They are still maintaining their old standards. A great thumbs up to the management.

Bamboo Shoots has redone itself totally right from the exterior to interiors. All superbly done. They have a new menu in which old oriental fare has been retained with some new exception like Chinese Bhel , Thai Green Curry Samosa ,Pataya Prawns (all to perfection). The new addition is the Modern Indian Food (Naanzas, Brusheetas, Butter Chicken Samosa , Kasundi Fish Finger) all were fingerlicious.Has truly retained its past glory with a new concept.
Sphinx
Just out of sheer nostalgia, walked into Bamboo shoots after many years. The interiors were changed completely, which was sorta welcome surprise. But when we got the menus, we were in for a shock. Bamboo shoots isn't a pure oriental cuisine anymore...it is mughlai and oriental now.

We stuck to the oriental fare only. Ordered soups, which were good. The prices are on higher side, but quantity of dishes more than make up for that price.

Overall, if you have pangs for good old chinjabi, walk in here. There are other similar and cheaper options available. It most definitely has lost the edge, it used to command a decade and a half ago.
Sandy Sandy
The last time I ordered, they delivered egg friend rice instead of chicken. Luckily for them, it was ordered about a month ago and I have no proof of the bill (except perhaps a PayTM or bank transaction receipt).
Bamboo Shoots was the Gold Standard in Fine Chinese in Noida, once upon a time. Their food is still good. But it needs to get back to Excellent. And please don't make errors in deliveries or orders. It reflects very poorly on the management.

The all new Bamboo Shoots Bistro has taken the cake! A fresh new menu that plays on the classic Bamboo Shoots Chinese dishes, and adds a whole new Indian menu!

Must have :
Prawn Dynamite
Chicken Tikka
Veg Cigar Rolls
Paan Ice Cream - it's created in house
And the butter chicken

It's the best you will get in Delhi!

It's located near sector 18 metro station. We planned to go for dinner here.
We tried veg manchow soup,
Chicken manchow soup
Chicken saute,
chicken fried rice and
fish fillet in butter chilli oyster sauce.
Chicken soup was good where as chicken saute was not that good it's completely different from what we expected. Chicken fried rice and fish gravy was very nice.
Enjoyed our dinner. Ambiance was also nice they closed their basement section and space was not very large.

Its a great place to dine-in in Sector- 18 and offers a great variety of Chinese cuisine .
We ordered these-
1. Chicken Dim Sums
2. Vegetable Springroll
3. Chicken manchow soup
4. Three flavoured chicken
5 . Vegetables in sweet chilli lemon sauce
6. Fried rice
All the items were amazing expect the spring rolls. Those could’ve been better . Otherwise everything else was delicious . Also the soup was really really good .

The food was very delicious.we wanted a less crowded place where we can chit chat a little bit and it definitely served our purpose. The ambience and the interior was excellent. The service was also very good.

The restaurant i guess is undergoing some renovation hence can’t comment much on the ambience. However i quite liked the food. Very few restaurants offer Chinese close to the authentic taste and this one goes quite close. I loved the thupka and the chicken dumplings but didn’t quite as much like the noodles.
Would go back again for both thupka and the dumplings!

One of the nice place to dine in, at noida sector 18. I tried appetisers here, loved exotic mushrooms in butter garlic. And also tried prawns Singapore with garlic noodles. All the dishes were apt and blended in flavour. Service is good so far.
Good place to try seafood or Chinese.
It could be crowded on weekends, better call for reservations and save yourself a table for good meal.

I hate Thai food. You know why? It's bamboo shots. Worst experience. The food sucks I will never go again. After eating their food I was in bed for 4 days with food posing.

If you are looking for some authentic Asian cuisine near Noida, Bamboo shoots is a decent place to go. Since the restaurant is undergoing renovation, its very difficult to find because there are no board or anything and even we have to call to confirm where it is located. However, when you reach inside, everything seems good. The ambiance was quite good and peaceful. However, the room freshner was too strong.
We ordered Talumein soup and Thai Herb Dimshums for starters. Talumein soup was good with a mix of vegetables in it and a balanced flavour with soya sauce and other ingredients. Dimshums were overlooked and were a bit more sticky. The sauces provided were a bit different. One with the herb leaves in olive oil which was good and other was just like any other Dimshums sauce.
Green Thai Curry taste was good giving us a feeling of authentic Asian cuisine. The flavours of cocunut milk, herb leaves as well as chicken cubes were making the entire dish delicious and having the same with Steamed rice was the best dish of the restaurant.
Whenever you go, least you could order without worry is Thai Curry

The old workhorse is getting a makeover. Went there with family last evening and was surprised to see the place under renovation. The basement sitting was however functional in its new avatar. The theme is more reminiscent of a lively pub sans the dim lights and blaring music than an oriental eatery. The food however was great as usual.

It was my birthday treat there by the office colleagues. The food that we ordered was pathetic. Although they serves sea food but the options are limited. The burnt garlic rice was good. Overpriced in terms of hospitality, ambience and the food quality and quantity.

Worst Pork i ever had in my life. They clearly don't know the art of cooking. utter dissapointed. Kindly dont order from Bamboo Shoots. its waste of money.

Yesterday's visit to Bamboo Shoot was quite a pleasant surprise. Had visited this place probably 1.5 years back and it wasn't a good experience owing to not so yummy food and bad interiors.
The place is halfway under renovation and they have opened the ground floor for patrons...the new interiors look quite swanky and give a very modern feel with bright lights and a cosy ambience! The decor and seating has been changed and the chairs felt quite comfortable...so a big thumbs up to the team for the renovation.
Coming to the food, starters were Butter Garlic Fish and Thai Chicken Skewers. Though the food took slightly longer than the normal time, it was worth the wait. Taste was totally yummy and the assorted dips were also complimenting the dishes well.
Main course was Phad Thai Noodles, Pork in Sweet Chilli Sauce, Three flavoured Chicken and Chilly Garlic Noodles. All of them were absolutely smashing!! Right balance of flavours made all the dishes very interesting and tantalized our taste buds.
Pork was very well done and so was the Phad Thai which was melting in the mouth!
Staff was helpful and courteous.
Also got a 20% birthday discount on food bill!

A rustic asian restaurant with some delicious asian cuisine. It is a humble joint in the hearts of sector 18 Must try Roasted lamb in bamboo shoot

This place is absolutely the best. I've not had more incredible Pan Asian and Chinese food anywhere in Delhi or NCR, as I've had in Bamboo Shoots. Their NASI GORENG (Seafood) is incredible! It's delicious and I don't get such authentic Malay Nasi Goreng, as Bamboo Shoots makes it. It is STELLAR. Their Satay chicken and peanut sauce that they give along, is also out of world. The American Chopsuey, their Lamb dishes and Crispy duck in garlic sauce is very good too. Hats off to the chefs. I am glad we have Bamboo Shoots in Noida. It's a personal and a family favourite whenever we crave something pan Asian.

Our gang visited Bamboo Shoots very recently, celebrating one's b'day. We started off with Peachy Martini (classic Martini with Peach flavour), Black Russian (Coffee based Russian Vodka and Kahlua cocktail), Tequila Sunrise (blended with orange juice, grenadine) along with the sweet and spicy Butter Chilli Garlic Water Chestnut and hot, spicy Sliced Fish with Roasted Schezwan Pepper. We tried Kimchi, loved the raw taste of the salad.
Main course included the tangy taste of Prawns with Kikoman & Lemon Butter, superb hot & aromatic Fiery Chilli Oil Basil Lamb and Nasi Goreng (traditional flavour & taste).
We ended with luscious Mango Blast mocktail and crispy hot & cold Honey glazed noodles with Vanilla ice-cream.
Great Food, Lovely People! BS has been one of the most popular restaurants in Sec-18. Was here for a lunch with my friend and we ended up having the following:
TOM YUM
A delicious soup with the right amount of lemongrass. A personal fav!
THAI GREEN CURRY NOODLES
Was expecting more in terms of the flavor. This dish is for immediate consumption else will turn soggy.
CHILLI PEPPER CORN
With fresh red chilli and crispy spinach, this was just the starter we were looking for! Well-seasoned and cooked to perfection.
EXOTIC MUSHROOMS IN BUTTER GARLIC
if you are a mushroom lover then I would recommend this dish.
MANGOLIAN CHICKEN WITH FRIED RICE
Delicious spicy chicken was very filing and left no room for desserts for us!

The service can be a improved.

Went there for lunch with my friends and we ordered chilli garlic noodles, chilli chicken and fried pork. This place has really good seating arrangement and ambience. The staff is very polite as well.
Everything tasted amazing specially the noodles which had a smoked chilli garlicky flavour to them. The only thing is that they have such a wide variety in non veg food but a very few items in veg. But other than that my experience was good.

We had a great meal here. Food was amazing. The decor is not great, but don't let that put you off. If you want authentic chinese food this is the place to go

Have been coming here for years. A comfortable stable of classic Indian Chinese dishes that they do well, but what I really like about the place is the attempt to add to the menu with new dishes, and experimentation. May not be perfect, but it works most of the time.

It was in 2009 that I had come here 1st time and I happened to visit again today, this place is about good food and they are serving one of the best Chinese cuisine in Noida. Lovely mushrooms in butter garlic sauce. The best is their Fried Ice Cream, try it as it’s definitely something you wouldn’t have had before.

So we were at Noida Sector 18 , and were soo hungry in this hot weather , decided to pay this place "Bamboo Shoots" a visit, and believe me , we didn't regret at all, the experience was soo amazing . 😍❤️ First of all, the #ambience is great❤️😍, and bow the most important part , which is the #food 😍, it was super yummy and delicious 😍❤️. We ordered #ChillyChicken ( #price - ₹470), #FriedPork ( #price - 470) and #ChillyGarlicNoodles ( #price - ₹360), and they all were sooo #delicious , and I can't tell my whole #experience in words.😍😍❤️❤️. I know this place is not as pocket friendly , but if you go for the #taste , this place is totally worth it ❤️❤️😍😍. The #staff and #service is also very good and #fast.

Good option for chinese food in the area. We order from this place at least once a month, they always deliver early and the food is always fresh and well cooked.

Not for a family. Its a place where you will see more of people drinking only. It's mostly crowded with only large group of people who entertain themselves like its a Sangeet party. Lol. . Cramped up place. Food is just OK but overall with the waiting time etc is worth 0 stars or - 1. Families should avoid
Bamboo Shoots is a popular place in Noida, Sec 18. Tough it's now time for a new interior and the menu is also same for years. If these two issues are overlooked, everything is good about this place. In my last visit with my friends, we enjoyed their Dimsum Basket: an assortment of dimsums. Every variety tasted pretty cool. Don't miss the Crispy Salt and Pepper Fish Fillet, it's awesome. No one in this area cooks Manchow Soup as good as Bamboo Shoots and so the Tom Yum...very scrummy. Spicy Sambal Chicken was awesome attempt...we loved this Indonesian prep...it's delicious. Vegetable in Sweet Chilli Lemon Sauce tasted elegant with Stir Fried Sticky Rice. Honey Glazed Noodles are must try.

Bamboo Shoots is our first ever choice in Atta Market area to satisfy our Pan-Asian craving. Our friends' group is fans of oriental dishes we love fine dine too. Hence, bamboo Shoots is best place for Groups, and their friendly staffs, peaceful ambience, huge range of food make it all worthy. Most of the time we visit this place our order starts with Smirnoff and assorted Breezers with starters Chilli pepper Corn, Gin Chicken, Golden Fried Prawn. We love their Veg Hot & Sour Soup, Non-veg Steaming Hotpot (serve 4). In main source we stick to seafood items including Chilli Hot Whole Pomfret, Prawn Singapore, Sweet Chilli Crab and Plain Steamed Rice. In dessert we prefer Honey Glazed Noodles.

Old is really gold. This old Pan-Asian restaurant in Atta Market area is real gem. I recently visited this place for a corporate event and had the chance to taste a range of foods and drinks. Best quality domestic Vodka and Whisky were served along with veg and non-veg starters. I loved their Chilli Pepper Corn, Mustard Chicken Golden Fried Prawns most. In main course I opt for simple Fried Rice, Sweet & Sour Vegetable and Chicken Hong Kong. In dessert I tasted Coconut Roll (filled with dry fruits) and Mocca Rage (awesome coffee & ice-cream combo) and it were great.

Special Mention: Welcoming staffs and pleasant ambience.

Bamboo Shoots is a nice place to explore Oriental Cuisines. I recently visited this place with my friends and the experience is really nice. We tried the refreshing house special Lemonade mocktail and classic Bloody Mary first.

Next we ordered food. Gin Chicken, Butter Pepper Garlic Prawns, Deep Fried Chicken Thai Style, Tom Yum and Tom Kha soup in starter...soups were delicious and fried chicken was best among the appetizers.
In main we had Spicy Sambal Chicken (Indonesian delicacy...awesome zesty taste), Chilli Mustard Prawns and Lee Noodles (with Seafood and Oyster Sauce). Mustard Prawns had delectable flavours and juicy taste. Lee Noodle (of our choice) was really good in taste, filled with fresh seafood. Coffee ice-cream with strong coffee flavour was superb.

A classy place to have a little unconventional chinese. I absolutely loved their starters that included chilly pepper corn and crispy salt and pepper. It was soo good that I had to repeat my order. The main course also lived hoti the bar set by the previous dishes. The stir fried vegetables in sesame sauce was a good blend of sweet and spicy and a perfect replacement to the traditional manchurian.

This place definitely deserves a visit.

A fine dining restaurant, Bamboo Shoots, located in Sector 18 Noida, serves a delicious variety of Seafood, Chinese, and Asian cuisine with a contemperory touch. The food here has various ingredients and authentic herbs and spices which undoubtedly impart a soul-satisfying taste. The well-stocked bar is an icing to the cake that this place has in store for people. It is an ideal place for people who like to experience an eventful nightlife paired up with good food and a variety of drinks. The ambience and decor are not to be missed, they are absolutely exquisite. The staff is very curteous with a thorough knowledge of the menu and chef special delicacies. The food served here is authentic and mouthwatering.
We gorged upon a lot of dishes.
We had the following :

Grilled spilcy fish fillet in banana leaf : A very well presented and a special dish one can try in the oriental cuisine. The fish fillets were wrapped in a banana leaf and locketed with a help of thin bamboo stick. Seabass fish was well grilled and perfectly spiced and presented with chinese parsley which made the dish palatable.

Prawns with kikoman and lemon butter- prawns sauteed with soy sauce, lemon and butter gave an amazing flavour to the dish.

Chilli pepper corns: Crispy fried corns sauteed with bellpeppers and onions with the hink of chilli and black pepper. Delicious dish, a must try.

Golden fried prawns : Prawns hold a special place in my heart and i try to order them everytime
I visit an authentic restaurant. Prawns here were well fried, well crisped and beautifully presented, but the outer crust of golden fried prawns needs some improvement in flavouring.

Mains : We had veg fried rice and chilli flat noodles, fish fillet in butter chilli oyester sause.

3 flavored chicken : This is the star fish of this place in mains. The flavouring was superb. The chicken pieces were well cooked and were soul satisfying with rice or noodles. Hugely recommneded.

Bamboo Shoots is the perfect place to have scrumptious sea food. Visit this place or else you will regret it.

Giving it an extra star for atmosphere and service. Very nice place with decent but skimpy (portions) food. It was a very nice place to eat lunch at a reasonable price though. Felt like an upscale restaurant. I would go again.

Bamboo shoots is popular among pan Asian sea food lovers and people who have been around here for sometime, thanks to reviews. I was searching for a sea food destination and found this with 4.0 rating and visited it yesterday; the ambiance is still the old one and needs certain renovation but good food overrides an average ambiance. A quiet place it proved to be( which I favoured), however food experience was not that great. Golden fried prawns were ordinary and so were fillet fish. Not too much impressed with the taste; but burnt garlic rice tasted great with a perfect balance of ingredients. Also the restaurant should add accroding to me some variants in sea food, I saw just prawn and crab. Overall, not so great experience with the kind of rating by previous visitors and I think the price is on little dearer side compared to taste.

A friend of mine has returned from abroad for a short while and the first thing she asked for was the Chinese food we get in India. We wonderful Indian people have taken the aromatic and wonderfully flavoured food of the Chinese and given it a twist as only we Indians can. The result is that beloved of all Indians - Chindian food. That's exactly what my friend was craving.
Lucky for us, Bamboo shoots does Chindian really well. We ran to the place after a late movie but we knew we'd be a little late. So I called them en route and asked them to wait for an extra 10 minutes for us, which I'm so glad to say, they did.
We ordered Kung pao chicken, Chicken in a sort of a black bean sauce and house mix fried rice.
I can't eat spicy food and so, I'm grateful for the advice of the knowledgeable server who suggested just the right menu items.
Overall:
Food - tried and tested authentic Chindian food which is much loved in my family, and now, by my friends too.

Service - the servers know their stuff, will try their best to cater to special requests and will try their best to give you a good time. In short, you can't ask for more.

Ambience - the ambience is what it's been like since the last decade. That's why I've given one point less in my rating. The decor now looks a little worn and needs to be improved.

VFM - For my order, I paid approx 800/- ( one main dish was comped because of my Zomato gold membership). In this day and age, even without my gold membership, I wouldn't get such prices easily. So yes, total VFM.

Will I go back? - of course! I love Chindian and I love Bamboo Shoots. Do go. You won't regret it.
