Awesome mutton dishes. Mutton seekh kebab, mutton tikka and Mutton Barrah are way out of the world.
Ashish Saran
No frills. Just good food. Decent prices. Ample parking......and delivery in the car. Or takeaway. Plus point is the variety.....I don't get kalmi kebabs easily but here they do it to perfection.

So far, it's good taste and quantity of almost everything. But need to work on hygiene.

There was a time when Saleem's used to serve the best chicken biryani in Delhi NCR. Their biryani was one of the most authentic biryanis of Delhi. However, things have now changed.

I recently went there with my brother, and I had spoken highly about the place to him. I ordered biryani, and they pulled out a pre-packaged box from the freezer and threw it in the microwave.

They heated it for a considerably long time, to the point where the plastic had become sticky and then they served it to us. The accompaniment was stale green chutney and nearly-rotten onions.

The experience was embarrassing for me, and unpleasant for my brother. I urge Saleem's to improve their food quality, train their employees, and re-engineer processes to bring back the good old taste.

Dropped by for some roasted chicken and chicken tikka. The roasted chicken was unnecessarily spicy despite me requesting otherwise. And chicken tikka tasted more of marination than tikka.

Worst of all, the guy at the counter refused to accept online wallet payment despite agreeing to it for another customer right in front of us.

I don't like being harsh with my reviews, but this one was bizzarely bad.
KABABCHI RESTAURANT

The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the seekh kebab and butter chicken, it was great (even took photos so we could try to replicate at home). Enjoyed the dinner!!!

Well I have been ordering from this place since I was a kid and the food here has never disappointed. They serve great non veg food. So if you are fan of Non Veg North Indian and Mughlai then this a great place to oder from.

Their tandoori Items are truly amazing specially their mutton seekh Kebab tends to melt in your mouth. Apart from tandoori their butter Chicken is also really nice.

As I have already said that I have been ordering food from this place since I was kid, their food quality in all these years has never changed and still remains as good as it used to be.

They also do catering for private parties.

As the name itself says its a takeaway spot. the food quality was good but had to wait for more than 20 minutes to get my order. the egg biryani and panner tikka was good. price is reasonable

This was a one of a kind drive to this place with my friends over a Car'O'Bar where we got to try multiple dishes by the very famous Saleems.

We ordered for Mutton Kakori which was cooked on coal. It was rich, flavourful and colourful. The goat meat was tasty and very well cooked. Never had such soft and tender mutton kakori till date. A must try dish if you are visiting this joint. Post finishing this one plate - We had like 8 plates more :). Just to let you know how the dish was - I reckon it's clear now.

It is a wonderful and cosy place in terms of takeaway or doing a car'o'bar - They dont have dining arrangements as it's a takeaway outlet so not recommended for dine in.

I can call it a pretty decent place for non veg lovers around sector 28 area. Place is small don't expect to come here for a family dinner, you do take aways, their chicken is good especially the roasted murg and yes they use lot of oil in their dishes so avoid if you don't prefer oily food
Yadvendra Singh Bisht
Worst mutton Nihari, 6 pieces sent in a Dish, but only 3 edible rest cartilage & bones with lot of chilies and pathetic taste. Wondering how any one eat this & at this price.
Sachin Kapur
A very good option if you are looking for some quick snacks that compliment your drinks or just generally in the mood to skip dinner. The seekh kebabs are good. And so is the chicken tikka. The rolls are not the best in the world, but very good considering the speed and price at which they are delivered. The malai tikka was below average though
Fahad
Very tasty food. Their tandoor items are just too good and the rates are quite reasonable. Service is quick as well. It's located on the main road in sector 26.

Every dish includes copious oil pools for your tasting pleasure. Your fingers bathe in the oil, turn reddish brown and drip the essence on the table. You wonder if you can see your reflection in the oil above the pieces of mutton floating like dead fish in an oil slick.
Abc098
Excellent seekh kebab. Very very good mutton tikka and burrah. Wonder why such low ratings.
Place is a tiny shack, take away only, of course. They're happy to serve you in your car while you enjoy your peg (most do in Noida).
I've never (been twice) found anything wrong with food or service.

It is like an escape plan (from veg meals) for me. I had Tandoori chicken and frankly, I have never seen this quantity around here. It tasted great, was cooked properly and freshly marinated as it was visible. On the contrary, Chicken Biryani was a bit of a disappointment as it tasted bland. Lost flavours and again bland pieces of chicken added to the misery.

I finally made a combination of eating the Biryani with Tandoori Chicken and yes it tasted good.
Overall it is alright. Quantity mentioned above was enough for two people. Delivery could have been faster as I live in close proximity in the same area.
Would soon update more. :)
CHOMPING CHAMPION
Since this joint is in my neighbourhood, I have been ordering from Saleems for almost five years. Over the years, I have tried almost every dish in their menu.

But what I like the most is the Chicken Malai Tikka and Fish Tikka's when the fish is in season. For Rs 330, they serve 10 good size chunks of chicken marinated in cream and mild spices grilled in a tandoor. The fish tikka comes for Rs 630. The tikkas are always accompanied by freshly sliced onion and cucumber and a green coriander chutney.

There are problems like consistency at times. But they serve good food fairly quick, most of the times!

Try Mutton Bara with Saleems, it is delicious. My overall experience with Saleems is good. Taste of food is good, quantity of food they serve is too good. I had to give them 5.0 rating but I am not giving them 1.0 because hygiene issues. The place looks dirty. Outlet is surrounded by dirt also their staff does not follow basic parameters of making food. I hope they will work on this part as well. Highly Recommended.

We were one of the repeated Customers. Thus, never expected that kind of a behavior from sector 26 outlet. It was 11 in the night and we were dead hungry and tired after whole day of work!

Chicken Biryani was spoiled and was stinking horribly. Same was the case with the plain rice. Mostly the same rice was used for the Biryani. It spoiled our entire evening!

I called up furiously and they had promised that another Biryani will be delivered in a few minutes but in vain!

Have been taking service from Saleems' since 2009! love its Chicken Kali Mirch.
Being nearest to home, convenient take away and home delivery have always loved ordering from here. have been a saviour from hostel food! :D
Taste: 4/5
Pocket friendly: 5/5
Quantity: 5/5
Food tried: Chicken korma, Kali mirch, tandoori, afghani, biryani, butter chicken, Kadhai Chicken, Chicken Do pyaaza.. probably a lot more things in span of 5 years! and have relished eating from here always!
Ekesh Tewari
Food does taste good mostly, like the authentic Muslim hotel dishes, but I have hygiene issues with this place. There has been an instance wherein there were a couple of strands of hair in my kebabs, so stopped ordering since then.
Puneet Dhalla
This take away outlet serves good mutton seekh rolls and stuffed chicken tangri . Quality is good ,service is good. Good for a quick bite. Price reasonable
Abhishek Jain
This is a decent and affordable take away place. They will cook as per expectations. Since I am a vegetarian, tried the butter paneer and was as per expectations. You get what you pay for. Food wasn't too oily unlike some other popular joints.
Vivekanand Gorai
I m regular to this outlet. Only home delivery no dine in. Outlet is very small. Hygiene got to be ignored. Coming to food I like thr tikkas, chicken burra n tikka rolls.its not pricy. Quantity n taste is decent.

Went there because my friend insisted that the food is awsome. He also told me that it is owned by the family of Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi. I love her work so decided to try the restaurent too. Did not like the food much. A little below expectaion . Also I found it a bit costly. Although the whole place was crowded and everyone seemed to love the food. Each to his own.

Names like this make you feel you are missing something if you do not try their food...Well not true for this place.

Once while coming back form office, I picked up their chicken curry with roti. It was not worth the money i paid for this meal. Nothing special about the taste. Thoroughly disappointing.
You can give this place a miss.

I was expecting a lot more from Saleem's but the dishes taste just about average. The mutton stew didn't look or taste like stew at all and the mutton-do-pyaza did not impress much. The delivery is extremely prompt though, so you get your food hot. The gravy dishes taste kind of similar so don't expect a variety in flavour.
Love that quick delivery!
Hate that you can get food which is better & cheaper elsewhere!

One unfortunate night, I ended up at this place for a quick take away. I ordered for tikkas, biryani and chicken curry. We couldn't finish the food and had to throw away good portion of it. It was stale, the rice was super oily for biryani, the chicken was under cooked to say the least.
The Guy at the eat out even flaunted huma qureshi's name while packing the order (it's her father's joint) but unfortunately she can't really help ppl overcome this nightmarish experience. Strictly no, going with one Star for huma's acting in wasseypur..

This used to be a good place once upon a time but the standards have really gone down over the period of time. The food is below par. Only one word, "avoid".

(UPDATE, April 11, 2015: I just came to know that the 'free food offer' limit has been raised to Rs. 750/ from Rs. 550/- and that changes things for a lot of foodies. Anyways, I'm sticking to 4.0 right now, will update after tasting a couple of other varieties I ordered today.)
Breakdown:

Quality- 4/5
Quantity-4/5
Timeliness-4/5
Packaging-4/5
OOMPH! Factor: 3/5

The only reason I'm not giving a complete 5 is due to lack of variety. The place is not fit for dining. But that should not stop you from ordering because a couple of dishes are pretty good.

It's very sad that Saleem's has not been reviewed properly. Maybe vegetarians have been rating the restaurant. Anyways, let me own this.

WHAT TO ORDER?

Kakori Kebabs- are a must. You can order rumali roti or parantha or other breads with it. The kebabs will take you back to Lucknow if you've been there. The taste is authentic. Try eating them while they're hot.

Mutton Biryani- There is a unique aroma in their Biryani. The mutton is red and fresh. The overall preparation is truly amazing. Add some Kakori Kebabs to your Biryani to make it even more grand.

And yes, if you order for Rs. 500 or more, you get FREE FOOD! I usually ask them to pack half plate chicken seekh kebabs.

The joint is not that great for vegetarians. Also, there is very limited variety when it comes to Non Veg. But at least the quality is up to the mark. They get 4 for maintaining the quality.
High On Food
We thought of picking up some food on the go as we were already running late and there was absolutely no desire left to go home and cook....that's when we spotted Saleem's Takeaway near the entrance of Jaipuria Plaza at Sector 26, Noida. After having some Golgappas from the Amritsari Chaat corner beside Saleem's , I thought of getting something packed from Saleem's situated next to it. Kadhai chicken, butter naan an chicken biryani that was all we got packed. The outlet did not seem busy at all and the employees were pretty much relaxed. We got our order packed in a jiffy. So, service was pretty fast. The food was completely average loaded with above average ladles of oil. This had actually killed the taste of the biryani and the kadhai chicken both. Somehow washed down the food with some really chilled coke picked up on the way. Not a very good experience at all.

Unhygienic, Rude Staff! Must Avoid! Cold Meat, Partially cooked.
Akshay Malik
Love their "Burra kebabs" & "Kakori Rolls/Kebabs". Veg fare is average.
Rahul
Worst biryani ever ordered ,please avoid this place .

Saleem's has one my personal choices when ordering for any chicken dish. Firstly the quantity is high and secondly the quality is awesome.

recommended dishes are Kali mirch chicken with roomali roti.
Souparno Banerjee
Very bad. We ordered mutton biryani, and the mutton was half cooked, smelly and definitely stale. Do not risk it. This is certainly not the Saleem's we knew and trusted.

Saleems use to be good once upon a time..
i tried to give this place couple of chances.. and every time i regretted it..
use to love their mutton buraa n chicken tikkas and tandoori's, malai tikka, butter chicken, karahi chicken, and mutton gravy dishes.. but now all of them are lack lustering and just so not good..
tried to ordered everything i loved at this place.. couple of dishes at a time.. bad packing.. stinking onion(as they were packed in plastic polythene for too long i suppose)..
chicken tikka, both malai n normal were bad.. and i swear i couldnot make out difference in both of them if i closed my eyes.. the diffrence was too little.. n taste was not good.. same was case with tandoori..
mutton burra's msala was tasty but the mutton were mostly bone and no meat..and that to not cut properly as i was getting small tiny pieces of bones in every bite..
other dishes were nothing to talk about..
and mind you it is not on cheaper side too..
so.. give this one a pass..

There is no comfort food like a well-made tikka roll on a breezy evening. After having heard praises for this place despite its not so hygienic location, I decided to bite the bullet (no pun intended) and try out this place. It was on a weekend, so the place was more busy than usual. I opted for a safe choice - ordered a chicken tikka roll. I prefer romali roti rolls to calcutta-style rolls any day.
Unfortunately, the roll which I was served here was sub-standard. It was cold. The chicken was dry, it seemed as if it hadn't been marinated properly/long enough. Green chutney was poured carelessly over half a dozen rings of unappetising onions. I couldn't remember the last time I had such a disappointing roll. I didn't have any inclination to try much else. Don't fall for their elaborate menu - half the things another guy had come to order apparently only existed on the menu.
Many people have said this before, and I would like to reiterate that this place doesn't seem hygienic at all. I would say avoid this place at all costs.
Sarthak Gupta
order only starters as they are fine but a strict no no to gravy dishes and biryani
Foodielicious
I thought the quality would be near to the Nazeer's at sector-18 Noida. Starters are okay. I'd ordered for Butter Chicken & Mutton. Never had such pathetic food in my life. Poor taste.
Jatin Kandpal
there was a dead cockroch on my tandoori rotis pack. i am very disappointed.

Amazing non veg grills at amazing prices
Tried their mutton barra and malai tikka. Both were amazing
prepared in very clean environs- in fact the cleanliness was a first in my experience for such road side take aways.
Can definitely give a thumbs up to- the rolls and the korma
Very polite and helpful staff.
Absolutely 10 on 10
