It is a non-vegetarian restaurant on the left side of the service road just after Jivas and before reaching Nongpo traffic point if one is traveling from Guwahati. Food is good and rates are also very reasonable along with prompt service. One can drop in for lunch on the way to Shillong.
Stopped at this roadside restaurant in Nongpoh for breakfast. The service was quick and the food was good. The restaurant was clean with super clean toilets. The prices were reasonable too. A good place to have food en-route Shillong.
Nice Restaurant in the town of Nongpoh , it serves Indian Thaali , Chinese and Tandoori dishes... Food yummy and tasty .. Washrooms both Male & Female are clean and well maintained with modern accessories ...
Went to the restaurant last evening with my friends and had some really delicious food/dishes there the food was really great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented.
In spite of the heavy rush they were really caring and hospitable towards us and provided us with a table as soon as it was available. I would also like to mention that the restaurant staff really kept their cool even though the place was packed.
You can go with your friends, family, partner or whosoever you wish to. I would love to visit the place again.
Last night we had a wonderful time at dinner. The restaurant was fully packed. Yet we we're served with tasty food. In addition, we had delightful staff. The manager was adorable and full of personality plus. She just has the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. She is a huge asset to your restaurant and deserves much kudos. She along with other staff members made certain that we had everything we needed.
We will definitely be back soon!!

Wonderful! A little Gem.
Firstly, we never experienced the 'Sour' service as outlined in some review comments. Inspite of a heavy rush, in every aspect the staff were obliging, courteous and efficient and I must say that their food is amazing, always cooked to perfection and we've never been disappointed going there on our own, or with family or friends. The restaurant deserves a 5 STAR status. I absolutely recommend the Romillie restaurant to everyone..😍

1. There is no food variety despite numerous items listed on the menu - Its basically the same thing repeated again and again with fancier names
2. Food Taste Could be better - like way better
3. Its value for money because they cut down on the quantity of the main item within the dish - e.g. if its pork fried rice - the amount of pork will be next to zero
4. Parking can be a pain during daytime
