This was an amazing visit to the Angaara restaurant. The kind and welcoming warmth of the crew into a tastefully crafted ambience just lightens your mood immediately. The fine quality of food is the shining feature of this place. The Mutton Angaara specials and the Chicken Alfaham left us licking our fingers !! This is a must visit place for super fine dining experience in Ooty. Hope the standard is maintained throughout.

We had best food here,it was a great relief after a tiring day.
Chicken kebabs were juicy and delicious.
Pasta was rich in flavour,it had strechy cheese and yummy taste.
Chicken Mandi was good,for my Andhra taste buds it was a bit bland.
Blueberry cheesecake was 'berry' blast
Not too much restaurant in Udhagamandalam - Ooty, however I had some dishes here which was very good in taste and presentation. Also there was very courteous staff.
Our overall experience was quite good. We had visited Angaara a few times earlier too and each time, the food was really good. This time we ordered, chicken manchow soup, alfahm chicken, lemon fish tikka(really really good), tandoori and roomali roti, chicken angaara, mutton kheema and a buttermilk, blueberry cheesecake and caramel custard for dessert. Each and every item was well made. Our waiter Bikram Roy, was very friendly and took good care of us. Service was pretty quick. Our additional advantage was that all the staff we interacted with was Bengali and understood our requirements very well.

Another great find in a new city. Neatly decorated. Prompt and polite service. Delicious food. I have eaten Chicken Lollipop in more than 50 restaurants but i think, i got it best at Angaara. Soft and juicy. Just melting in the mouth. Do give this place a try, whenever in Ooty.

Great ambience (for Ooty) and nice music , Extremely Courteous and friendly staff .
Highlight dish - Chicken Angara - rich curry with perfect blend of all spices and nicely cooked chicken ( please convey our regards to the chef)
Variety of desserts , caramel custard was outstanding ...
Only grumble is that they can add more sign boards in the front and around the restaurant so that it becomes easy to find the place ...
And finally we ate delicious food in South. So we have visited Ooty and found this restaurant which is in the city. The ambiance is perfect. Best place to hangout with your friends and family. The people there were also good. This place is famous for Chinese as well as for Mughlai.
