If u r a authentic Tamilnadu fare freak....than u must head here....Quite crowded yet u can snuggle, ur way thru..I plumped for the Pongal, it swept me of my feet, the right consistency, lots of( pepper which especially is a good bet to have) in this weather to keep u in good shape , given the climate the chill and cold, so make sure u don't discard the whole pepper chew it alongside the rice, cashews and jeera added overall , it did not disappoint me. It was served with beautiful piping hot sambar with yellow pumpkin, drumsticks, onions in plenty a beautiful aroma wafting alongside two chutneys, white coconut chutney and 🍅 and onion chutney, the Pongal was quite a fill.....The coffee was the filter coffee refreshing.... U ve plenty to pick from like khichdi it's the rawa khichdi a must try, idli, vada sambar, poori and more....Pls visit this place ur tastebuds wl be enhanced for sure.

This is the only good veg restaurant in Ooty if you need to have an early breakfast. When all other restaurants are closed, they are filled with huge crowds for breakfast.
Tasty veg menu options and this place can accommodate a huge crowd too. They also have a parking area behind their hotel for cars. So many travellers arriving to Ooty early morning will have only this place for a good tasty breakfast.
Our waiter, an old person was well mannered and suggested to us what to have and was quite friendly.

Its just u need to have food in the plate.
Price is cheaper comparatively.
Very nice place for veg they have many choices including meals .
And many items like paneer butter masala ,Gobi Manchurian etc .,
Service is excellent .
They are offering two pickles with your meals and served very hot in the Ooty climate.
We had biryani but it was too spicy and when we told them they have offered payasam .

We roamed around the city of Ooty in search of good food and reached here after a 20 minute search. It was good food. The service has to rise a little more
It is a decent restaurant for vegetarians. I had ordered south indian thali, and it was good.
But during lunch time there are very limited options.
Service was good.
Decent simple sounth Indian lunch we had here. Rice papad was good. taste was good. most importantly dirt cheap rates. value for money.

Good service. Good Taste at affordable price. Very rush at peek hours. Take long time to get the ordered food. Nearby they have Non-Veg Restaurant, named Spices. But there Taste us moderate.
