I ate here every day for 5 weeks straight - often twice a day - and was never once let down. Dosai, idli, puri, parotha: all cooked to perfection. The potato masala is to die for - just the right combination of oil and potato (around 50/50). Vemurugan is filled with character that only a small-town, simple value-for-money restaurant can offer. With high customer turnover the food is always hot and fresh, and the water tastes a little like the wood smoke that cooked the food. Hard to go past this outstanding establishment for taste, price and atmosphere. Five stars!
