The only Japanese restaurant near Sriperumbudur and Oragadam region. Went last week with our Japanese client and he really like the food. He in-fact compared the tastes and said it is at par with the Japan. Forgot to click some pics. Not a great place for vegetarians and very less varieties in vegetarian. Must visit place if you like Japanese cuisine.

Good restaurant to taste Japanese cuisine and part of Hudson hotel resort. Not very authentic taste and with little bit of local flavour, but good for both Japanese and Indians.

Good environment and Great food taste.... Need to improve the exhaust system as the kitchen smoke rotates inside the dining area.

I ordered Tempura prawns, Chilli Prawns and Chicken Ramen.

Tempura prawns (4/5):
The prawns were really well cooked. The tempura coating was good too but they need to improve the consistency of the flour base they make. The prawns were really fresh and easy to eat. Not a single smell of ammonia in them. They didn't taste frozen either, which is a good thing because we can eat food made from fresh ingredients at such prices. I would say the tempura prawns were worth the price. The soy sauce given along with the sauce was so amazing. I ate Japanese food after 6 long years which really satisfied me.

Chilli Prawns(3.5/5) :
They weren't as near to Chinese style chilli Prawns. Though we did ask the chef to make it a bit spicy. The prawns were again well cooked and felt very fresh. No smell of ammonia or the weird taste you get when the fish is Frozen or old. Fresh ingredients 😍

Chicken Ramen(3.5/5):
The chicken was juicy, fresh and well cooked. The vegetables were fresh and I could taste the individual flavours of all the veggies. The miso soup was absolutely exploding with flavor. The addition of some soy sauce definitely caused foodgasms in my tummy. There were only two things missing in the puzzle, that is broccoli and eggs(boiled) which would have given the ramen a different face entirely. The noodles were really good too, but FELT LIKE INSTANT NOODLES.
Overall, the ramen was absolutely good, but there is a huge potential of improvement.

Overall(4/5):

The ambience was really nice. Calm and quiet with some soothing music playing. The service was brilliant and all the staff were friendly and cordial. I would say it is worth the price because you are getting fresh ingredients (fish,chicken,meat) to eat that are plated beautifully.

More comments because I am coming back here again:
I want all the serving staff to taste each and everything on the menu. I want them to be completely knowledgeable about Japanese food since most of the guests that dine there are Japanese expats. They shouldn't say that only non spicy food is available here. I felt they were confused whether they are serving good food or not. In fact, they should be proud to serve such food that is so far away from the city and the sea shores and yet they have kept the food standards high. The kitchen is sparkling clean. I observed the chefs working too and they held the line well.
Another point is, beers like Kingfisher, Budweiser, etc. do not go well with Japanese food. Instead there could be Japanese beers ( Asahi ) or hot sake which could go really well with the food served here. Why I say this is because I had kingfisher beer and it massively interfered with the beautiful flavours of the ramen. Beers like KF, Budweiser,etc.go well only with Indian or continental food.
Overall I had an amazing experience here and I shall come again. Cheers
Great place for Japanese cuisine! Although the place is very far, ambience is good. Some dishes are bad...not Upto the mark. We had ordered a Japanese prawn dish which tasted like chilli prawns Chinese style..

Food and Flavour: 0.5/5
Ambience: 3/5
Service: 3/5
Seating: 3/5
Value for Money: 0/5

* Parking Available
* Beer available

After a meeting at Oragadam, me and two of my associates decided to try a Japanese eatery from the area. Decided on Moshi Moshi since neither of us had been here. Located on the first floor of Hudson Hotels and resorts.

Order:-

No sushi available.

Ramen chicken (₹600) - Korean instant noodles, cabbage, carrots, beans and chicken in hot water. The worst ramen I’ve ever had. If it could be called so. Bland and tasteless. Large portion size.

Chukkadon (₹700) - Rice topped with cabbage, capsicum, carrot, prawns in a thick soup. Bland. The miso soup was mild. Chicken from the Karaage was cold inside and hard. Carrot and banana stem tossed in sesame oil was okay. Horrible.

Katsudon (₹730) - Sticky Rice topped with pork cutlets, omelette and sliced seaweed. Mildly sweet and soy flavoured. Served with what tasted like Chicken Pakora, Miso Soup and sesame oil tossed carrots and banana stem. Disappointed.

Service was rather quick. There was just another table occupied by expats. Seating and air conditioning were adequate. The food was awful except for the Katsu Don which was passable. Didn’t regret the try but the experience for sure. One of the few times I’ve felt I wasted money on food. Not coming back for sure.
Total Bill:- ₹2768/- including ₹654 for two beers and GST at 5% of ₹100.50/-
