Review Noor Jehan Fort View Restaurant - Palakkad

A castle for Biriyani and it's varieties. The rest of the dishes and foods are also nice. A hotel with great hereditary of quality foods in the Palakkad town.

This used yo be one of my favourite restaurants in the town when I was a student in Coimbatore. Now, after 10 years visiting again, this place needs a renovation but taste wise it is still the old Noorjehan... still one of my personal favourite.

it was my first and only time try at this restaurant. But i can assure you that im very impressed. The food the quality and taste are excellent. I haven't tried all the dishes,but their special biriyani and some other varieties also was pretty good. Normally some restaurant have their own variety of biriyani or some kind of dish but those are not as special as the restaurant claims., But here the specials of noorjehan was special just they said . But to everyone going to this restaurant i would suggest buying smaller portion😄., Cos we ordered a full biriyani(for 4 people portion) for 5 of us , but there was enough food for 6-7 people. Im not complaining. Its a pretty good deal if u ask me. But since i dont want anyone wasting good food ,i gave a suggestion to the customers. To the restaurant owners, keep up the good work. The price was reasonable for the quantity and also the quality of the food. Also to everyone reading this., Everything above mentioned is my opinion about my experience and the food we ordered. It might differ from people to people and other food. And if there are places to improve i hope the restaurant will improve those places and give even better experiences in future to all the customers.

Great food options in one of the famous and oldest restaurants in the area. Food is very good, delicious and the quantity is good for the price charged. The service is quick too. Parking space is available behind the restaurant now, so that problem has been resolved. Overall, a great restaurant to visit with family or friends.

The food was excellent, as was the service. The dry fry beef with a hint of spice was good.

Always crowded restaurant. Always a wait here . Parking is available on the back side of the restaurant. Seats are classic style and idle for families with kids. Food is good . The chicken biryani thalassery style is the highlight. Chinese and other items are also available .

No doubt it is the best Noor Jehan branch in Palghat. very good and clean food. The Porrotta and butter chicken combo is a must try.

They have the best parrotas and great service as well, making the restaurant a great family place

You can get good Kerala dishes and Arabian food in this restaurant. It's good that they have parking.

One of the best hotels whose biriyani is very famous. They do have multiple branches in Palakkad town. Had been to their hotel opposite to Fort in Palakkad They have served a special Biriyani which could be taken by 5 people. Not the regular kind of biriyani as the masala was different and lesser. They are also providing family packs at normal cost. They do have other varieties in non Veg too. They have got parking space too

We ordered one Chicken Biriyani and Chicken Biriyani combo. Biriyani was good and tasty, while the combo is not worth it. Combo had few small pieces of Chilly chicken, but the rice was normal rice without masala and the quantity also was not sufficient.

Ordered iftar kit worth Rs. 320 and all I can say is full wastage of money. Even though it had all items as mentioned by them it was of toooo much less of the quantity we expect for the price. Taste is good but the quantity is toooo less. Fooling us

I had ordered porotta and chilli chicken. The quantity was ok but while eating I found a piece of egg shell in the porotta. It makes one question how and where they are making the food.

Ordered for Chicken Kurma. Received spoilt chicken make shift tomato curry.<br/>Packing was very poor. Biriyani rice got spilt.<br/>Customer interest not taken care.<br/>Won't order anymore from this restaurant.

Ordered a combo pack from the hotel and the quantity delivered was VERY VERY LESS. Disappointed and do not recommend..

Average നും താഴെ മാത്രം........ ബിരിയാണി ചില്ലിചിക്കൻ combo 129 rs .. rice വളരെ കുറവും ചിക്കൻ വളരെ ചെറിയ കഷ്ണം ചില്ലിചിക്കൻ 4 small piece .. 7 വയസുവരെ ഉള്ള കുട്ടിക്ക് മതിയാവുമോ എന്നുപോലും സംശയം ആണ് ..... മുതിർന്നവക്ക് ഒരിക്കലും ഒരു നേരത്തെ ഭക്ഷണം ആയി കഴിക്കാൻ സാധിക്കില്ല

It’s not good and the chilly chicken which is mentioned is purely without chicken....

Our family is a regular customer of Noorjehan fort view restaurant since ages. But they are compromising much on quality of food. Just today I ordered Porotta, Chappathi, Tandoori Chicken and Gobi Manchurian. I ddnt expect extra ordinary taste but to be worse the Gobi Manchurian was stale, the cauliflower, onions and capsicums were soggy and old and smelled like something else. Noorjehan, people can never avoid you, so please keep up your standards.

This restaurant brand has been here since my childhood. Their biriyanis have always been a favourite.

I ordered parotta+chilly chicken+butter chicken combo.. But i didnt get chilly chicken in that combo. Size of Tandoori i ordered also too small in size.

Sawaya, combo chicken biryani with butter chicken and chilli chicken, chicken fried rice, paneer butter masala and gobi i had.<br/>I greatly recommend sawaya to the arabian food lovers out there :) Great taste.

Veg biriyani waste of money

Chicken Biriyani <br/>(The most authentic style Chicken Biriyani of half portion served. The small grain rice makes it more yummy with enough amount of ghee coated over the grains. The chicken was juicy and soft with equal amount of spicy and masala. The pickle served with Biriyani is different from usual ones- Beetroot pickle.
