Review Rasa Bistro - Palolem

Sins Of Wanderlust
Great food and drinks in a very cool ambiance. The food can be a bit bland due to the many foreigners so make sure to tell the server to make it spicy. The guava cocktail and carrot cheesecake are must try.

This place is s real gem... cool design contemporary but still relaxed, the staff are friendly & seem to enjoy their work. My fish dish was exceptional. The best bit though was the cocktails.. I was drink a new invention still unnamed.. I would call it The Vodka Lush...

A very good to hangout for food and drinks. The place is very lively and the interiors are welcoming. A very different type of sitting arrangement they have which is very interesting. Staff is very courteous, helpful in ordering food. Service is good. Food has good taste. Open kitchen brings in the confidence to customers and aroma of food preparation makes you mouth water.

Amazing ambience, very chilled out place where time really stops. Delightful service. Ask for Vinod, he manages the place, great guy. Food is outstanding. Made me visit twice for its hospitality, food, ambience, great music and excellent service. Keep it rocking, Rasa! Oh yeah!!! Clean kitchen, a 10/10 on hygiene.

Excellent place for digital nomads, I've spent the whole week here and I've been absolutely loving it. The weather in Goa is hot as hell, but here you can enjoy chill vibes, cool, friendly staff, refreshing drinks and great food at very inexpensive prices. I highly recommend spending some time here! Holler to my man Abhishek for making my time spent here even better!

What a modern Indian dining. Well this place is real gem in Palolem. This modern Indian cuisine trend is taking world by storm. And great to see this gem place in Goa to have captured and executed this. Don’t forget to try Palolem bunny chow stuffed with stuffed pork Sarpotel. It is great to see goa, specially Palolem is developing in such a manner. Serving some extraordinary yet delicious and simple food. We tried their paneer 56, and believe me the flavours will blow your mind. Great find. Visited almost everyday in our six day visit.

Huge drink selection and a small appetizer/entre/dessert menu. Food is fantastic!!! It's one of those places that has a short food selection because the food they do make, they make with perfection! Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Looks of the restaurant are expensive, but it is cheap and much better than any restaurant in Palolem main road. Food is just superb, tried chicken cafreal, Himalayan thupka bowl. And of course extremely courteous staff. Regret dint find it earlier.

Great ambience, Their Himalayan thukpa is same we had in Nepal. Great place for regional food and cheap drinks. Also their starters are worth trying

Beautiful coworking space near palolem beach. Comfortable sits with really good wi-fi. The place might get little noisy sometime considering it’s a restaurant with co working facility but after all good place to work and eat.

We couldn't find Maggi nearby and when we asked the owner if they had Maggi on the menu, the owner asked us, "Are you only looking for Maggi?" We said, "yes". He quickly asked his staff to get Maggi from a store and prepare it for us. What came on table was a delicious semi gravy mouth watering Maggi with veggies. We loved the hospitality ❤️ We need more people and friendly owners like this restaurant has. 🤗

Cheap and good portions. Specially very different presentation than usual Indian food.

Such a gem! Rasa Bistro offers a unique ambience made up of up-cycled tables, quirky decor and natural material like bricks and wood, with an equal amount of softness and colour. The food is innovative, delicious and healthy. I tried the Twisted Chicken Bites, one of their specials, but preferred the Rasa Paneer 56 more, because of its clean, fresh flavours. Their Penne Mushroom Cafreal Bowl was definitely unique, and it is really bold of them to experiment with such classic flavours, but the dish is wonderful! The perfectly cooked, juicy mushrooms add to the taste. The Thukpa was delicious as well - served differently, with the noodles/chicken/veggies in one bowl and the broth in another - but it the mild spices and flavours was comforting! Missed having dessert, will visit for the Carrot Cake and Lemon Cheesecake!

We are a group devotees travelling with our guruji ‘shri Sadanand’ based in Rishikesh. We have
been studying holistic nutrition for last 25 years and serve food to around 1000 students every dayi n our Ashram in Rishikesh. After analysing yoga based diet and vegetarian food in south goa (we visited almost all the so called overhyped healthy and food places in palolem) , I believe there is serious misunderstanding about vegan and vegetarian food here in Goa. Holistic food is a journey not a statement. Specially the most famous place we visited , after many recommendations, We observed they use food colours. And that’s the most notorious thing in food which can give you serious ailments like cancer, as we all know. There is lots of importance given to good looks than nutrition. Well but found this beautifully designed bistro on main road, rasa bistro. What an atmosphere. Enough greenery, and pure ashram vibe. We tried their peanut Patal bhaji, and mushrooms with coconut curry. What a delicious food. It straight away reminded me ashram back home. Same healthy curry served with homely roti. Simple yet exotic. Also kudos to their team who was kind enough to show us the kitchen and way they cook. What is the point of travelling in India and eating so called exotic hyped colour mixed quinoa or whatever dreaded combos. Rasa is great, limited vegetarian options but homely, healthy food.

Well well. Feel bad how yogis travelling in Goa are fooled by so called vegan dishes. Guys healthy

food is simple food. Thank you rasa for all the vegetarian delicacies. At last some real vegetarian

homely food. And thank you for preparing dishes as per my demand (I am allergic to nuts ).

Travelling in Palolem for last ten days. Initially tried all the super expensive so called famous restaurants. But this one is just the gem. Their twisted chicken balls to die for. Five star.

Rasa has made it to my list of favourites. This simple but elegant place is managed by a group of very sweet people - from the waiters to the chef to the manager, everyone is very polite and friendly. They actually know how to look after their guests well.

Now, the food. I am absolutely in love with their thai green curry bowl - quite different from what I’ve been having so far. A portion of steamed flat rice noodles with a portion of curry. The curry’s made of coconut milk and has oodles of veggies in it. The flavours of the dish are wonderful. The assorted bruschetta is also good. I loved the one with the pesto and parmesan. The parmesan mushrooms are quite delightful too - A crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior, and a burst of cheesy flavour. My non-vegetarian friends loved their creamy butter chicken and naan.

In cocktails, I had Shana and Whiskey Misky. Both the cocktails had a nice, fruity flavour. It’s closed for the off season but I hope they reopen soon. Recommended.

Overall not an extremely pleasant experience, as it is low season we asked the waiter if everything was available from menu and he confirmed, which was actually not the case after we sat. Food quality was so so, we ordered fried calamari and fried prawns; naan and roti. Premises not very clean; WC either.

This simple, quiet place located on the main street holds many surprises in it's menu! Simple, delicious and healthy- the food is sure to put a smile on your face! Prepared fresh and served in generous quantities, definitely a delightful experience.

One of the best places I have been to recently. Must must try their innovative cocktails, speak to the chef and he shall reccomend what's best. Good options to choose from for the food. We tried the Chicken Schnitzel, Chicken burger and Asian style honey coated chicken served with rice. Do visit this place, I highly recommend it.
The Meat Hunter

Our experience at Rasa was Brilliant. The Ambience and decor was noveou and very cool. Not seen anything like it before... Creative and Innovative! The food was simply smashing. We ordered a beef steak that came with French fries, a broun sauce and lip smacking vegetables at the side. The steak was well cooked and really tasty. We also ordered an American burger again with sides. The burger was humongous and in terms of taste... Couldn't have asked for anything more. Vinod who runs the place and Parth were warm, friendly and very helpful. If you are at Palolem do visit for an Amazing experience. Vinod, I wish there was a 7 star rating.... Will definitely visit you on my next trip.

The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the special bar drinks, tasted some bengali dishes like sondesh and It was delicious and exactly what we ordered.(even took photos with the chef, who made the dinner memorable). Must visit.

Great food and even better ambience is one way to describe Rasa bistro. I went there with a couple of my friends during our stay in Goa to try out their bengali cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food, the courteous staff and wonder ambience that greeted us at the bistro. Coming from a Bengali family I can say with complete confidence that the food was truly authentic. The kochuri with alur dom was prepared to perfection. Even the deserts - gurer payesh and sondesh were all exemplary. They reminded me of my hometown, a truly nostalgic experience 😊

I have been to this place during my last visit to Palolem with my friends and yes my experience was really amazing, specially with the ambience( lots of recycled things were used and that is nice). We were welcomed with a welcome drink as well because at that time they were having "Bengali Festival" going on. Food in terms of taste and plate presentation wise was just on point and delicious. (If you're planning to make a visit soon then please try there Bengali dishes, you'll get the real taste of Bengal)
I had and amazing time with my friends over here.
Even the Chef's are also very friendly including the manager. They make a visit to your table to check if everything is fine or not which is very delightful.
Please make a visit and enjoy the rest of your time there...
Good effort team...👍👍

Crispy, Saucy Chicken Parmesan from Rasa Bristo, Palolem, Goa.
.
The chicken was tender and sauce was too good. If served with a portion of pasta, would be filling for two. Could have had a melted cheese topping to make it more yummy.
Maurya Gautam
Excellent food with friendly staff. Tried grilled red snapper, parmesan chicken and prawns pad thai. Happy to rate it amongst top three places to eat in Palolem. The interiors are quirky with lots of recycled material. Will surely be back...
