The best food I had in my two week trip to the south of India, without question. I went back three times in five days. Excellent, friendly service and the food is to die for. Try the kingfish thali and then go back and try the pork vindaloo! Prawn rawa fry is also a great choice of starter/side if you're feeling hungry. Cannot recommend it highly enough!

This is just back off the beach behind ‘coco sea resort (2023) and I can promise you, it is worth the visit. The food is so good I was absolutely blown away. We got the chicken vindaloo and paneer masala. Dear lord the masala was good. We are going back tomorrow for New Year’s Eve. The service was lovely and they have recommended lots of dishes for tomorrow. We’re so excited.

A highly recommended place for some very authentic Goan homely food. The owner Mr. Mauvin Fernandes is very warm & hospitable. He's also the chef here & I'm told the masalas are specially made by his mother. Don't judge a book by it's cover is what I would say when you visit this humble & small eatery. The food was finger licking good, very hygienic & the kokum sherbat, Goan sausage curry & Goan pomfret curry with some local bread Poi & steamed rice is not to be missed. The food is extremely fresh & flavorful. A must visit if you're in Goa.

I had the most delightful dining experience at this restaurant! The taste of the dishes was nothing short of extraordinary, each bite bursting with true goan flavor and creativity. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel truly welcomed. We had lunch here for 3 consecutive days. All the meals were simply delicious. We had nothing else but just FISH. Crab sukka, Surmai fry, Pomfret fry were just amazing. Actually, crab wasn’t available on the first day but on our special request they arranged. It was worth the wait. Also, they charge you reasonably compared to other local restaurants. I can't wait to return and savor more of their exquisite cuisine. Highly recommended!

We have eaten here for the last two nights and the food is amazing. It has a small but fantastic menu. Be sure to try anything that is Goan as it is just fantastic. We had the Xacuti and the Cafreal and they were fantastic. The guys are happy to suggest local food for you to try and are always happy to help. The restaurant is one street back from the beach but it definitely worth venturing inland for.

Best Goan food I’ve had in South Goa: Usually I’d say it’s difficult to find proper local food in south Goa as compared to the north. But Rian proved me wrong. We ordered a couple of starters along with Special Fish Thali which was more than enough for 2 people. I’d suggest don’t order anything else if you are planning to go for the thali. The fish was fresh. The prawns and squid were cooked in different kinds of masala’s, both exquisite. There were two types of fried fish, one was rawa fry and the other was masala fry, couldn’t decide which one I liked more. The crab could be meatier but I’m willing to let that slide since everything else was perfect. The service was very nice and accommodating to the requests of our European guests. The ambience is simple yet clean and constantly evolving for the better. I wish them best of luck for the future and I’ll be sure to visit Rian again when I’m back in South Goa :)

We ordered the Rian special fish thali for 2. It comes with 2 pieces of fried king fish and 2 pieces of fried mackerel. 2 curry’s with king fish and mackerel, one prawn curry and one squid curry. One veggie dish and rice, roti, papad & salad. Everything tasted good. I’d say this special thali is a must try so you can taste a bit of everything they have to offer. Good service staff and overall a very lovely experience.

Stumbled upon this Goan food spot and couldn't be happier. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the owner and staff were friendly and considerate. Highly recommend for an authentic Goan dining experience!

Must try if you are in south goa. Completely authentic home made Goan dishes which are extremely tasty and fresh in big quantities. Rian is a very gracious host. Special recommendation is the Rian special fish thali and pork sausage curry.

Their food is authentic home-like Konkani food. We had their special fish thali and loved it. It was the best fish thali we had in Palolem and the service was great!
