Review Bansal Amritsar Food Street - Panchkula

Bansanl Amritsari Kulcha offers incredibly tasty food, especially the aalo pyaaz and dry fruit kulcha – a must-try for kulcha enthusiasts. However, the overall dining experience left much to be desired. The service was notably slow, and the tables were quite dirty, likely due to the high rush. The dine-in atmosphere was less than ideal. Despite the delicious food, improvements in service efficiency and cleanliness would significantly enhance the overall dining experience.

We have tried their zriakpur branch but this time got an opportunity to try out their Chandigarh branch and it was worth the visit. We went on a Saturday morning and as expected the crowd was increasing with every minute. Thankfully we got our seats and ordered garlic chur chur naan and aloo pyaj kulcha along with tea. Both the kulchas and naan was nicely cooked with a perfect crisp in every bite and the filling also up to the mark making both the items really delectable. Tea was also good in our first round. The second round of the tea was a mess. Nevertheless, we loved the food and will definitely come again to try other variants of kulchas available here. Cheers ;)

Best kulcha. Very tasty and heavy loaded. We tried Mushroom kulcha and gobhi matar paneer kulcha. Along with it they provide amul butter. In drinks: We tried Pineapple lassi and Strawberry lassi & that’s too yummy.! One issue we faced was we ordered something and get something else like we ordered mushroom kulcha and received mushroom garlic. Similarly, we asked for Strawberry mojito and received lassi instead. So, kindly ensure these things. It’s in Panchkula. You can take auto or uber.

Delicious Food I ordered a mushroom and aalo kulcha it was fabulous. It came with tamatar and imli ki khatti chutney and chole (complimentary) with unlimited refills. Curd is soo fresh and tasty You get a decent amount of butter and pickle along it. And the CHAI is just awesome. Just finger licking experience. Would definitely go there again

Quite famous for Variety of kulcha's in affordable price ambience is normal with air conditioning. I ordered churr churr naan but they serve me same kulcha I had earlier in my last visit. Taste is amazing and very crunchy but No difference in chur chur kulcha and churr churr naan.

Order chur chur naan and lassi, the food was very delicious highly recommended. However, their service need to improve high time and also they need to add better ventilation because of humidity. Would suggest to order them from swiggy or Zomato rather than going to the restaurant.

Amritsar kulcha lovers in town Knock! Knock! They serve supar se upar Amritsari kulchas. Huge variety they have in it is amazing. Lassi malai maar ke. Wah! Garlic choor choor, Mushroom garlic are must tries.One thing i feel they can improve on is the sitting and in dining hygiene.

The Kulcha’s here are very crispy and tasty I specially liked the mushroom kulcha but the hygiene and cleanliness can be improved. There were flies which annoyed me but the Food was tasty.

Coming to Gur ka halwa..it is heavenly delight. It takes me to street of Amritsar, with its every bite, remind me of Kanha sweets(opp. of bijli Hanuman Mandir, Amritsar) Gur ka halwa..it's that level good . Today I ordered 2 Kulchas from zomato, one with dal and one with chana. Kulchas I received is in brown paper envelope, totally ruined by the unprofessional handling of zomato delivery boy plus didn't get the dal as ordered despite giving 10 Rs extra for dal addon. Very bad experience. We are the regular customer of BAFS but this time you ruined our dinner. Very bad experience.

Was craving for some Desi dinner so went to this place as it is really really famous for its Amritsari kulcha and chaap.<br/>Did not even think twice before ordering these two items on the menu. The service was very quick and we did not have to wait for giving the order as well as getting the food. <br/>We started with Amritsari kulcha. We ordered Aloo garlic kulcha. It was thick and filled with aloo. A big piece of butter on top. Served with chhole and an odd-looking chutney.<br/><br/>The odd-looking chutney was something we did not expect and tasted amazing. Also, then we tasted Soya chaap and it was soft and delicious. Served with two butter naan, it was very fulfilling. <br/><br/>The place has a dhaba like vibe that makes it Indian and very accommodating. The food was delicious and the service was quick.

On 17 of August I and my mother visit bansal kulcha. Taste of kulcha is very bad. They even serve de kulcha widh cold Chane. Tasty of chutney was OK OK. Once I also visit dere VIP road branch zirakpur. Dere was also same problem. Even they doesn't wash DE potatoes and chana. Little little stones are in chana. Totally wastage of money. Even they doesn't listen what de customer is complaining .

We ordered Spcl Chur chur Kulcha, Mushroom cheese Kulcha, Aloo pyaaz Kulcha and Butter Naan with Soya Chaap from here. These are one of the best Kulche I have ever had. The Chur chur Kulcha had good amount of oil and tasted exactly like Chur chur Kulcha. The Mushroom cheese Kulcha was also awesome with proper stuffing of Mushroom and good amount of Cheese. The soya chaap was also good. The Aloo Pyaaz Kulcha was also good. All Kulche were properly stuffed. This is a must try outlet.

The alu onion kulcha was very thick and burnt with no taste and the thali kee khan has no special taste and did not have sweets and salads and rice 💥💥

I am usually not a huge fan of kulcha’s but looking at the popularity of this place visited once during dinner. Was quite crowded. Due to personal preference I was not impressed with kulchas.

This place has my heart. I never felt disappointed after having their Bansal special kulcha. Its been more than 3 years but their consistency is just amazing.

Incomplete order. Did not send the daal and chana with my aloo pyaz and chur chur kulcha.<br/><br/>On calling the restaurant, he rudely asked me to call Zomato helpline because as per him, he sent the complete order amd the rider must have goofed up. Zomato support couldn't do more than refund for the missing items.<br/><br/>The whole experience was terrible. Tried recently via ordering online. Had Aloo Payaz Kulcha first time around and it tasted good. It reached hot (Summer Effect). The kulcha was overcooked and hard to chew along sidelines while it was okay at the center and around.<br/><br/>With every variety of Kulcha you get served with 1. Option of Cholay/Dal (I always prefer cholay) and 2. obviously as per trend Onion Syrup or as we Punjabis call it Pyaaza wali Chutney and Amul Butter. The thing I didn't liked was potatoes were not clean and by not clean I mean it had outer shell cover on it which should be sliced. The coriander tail wasn't cut and it was used as it is. You are ought to use leaves only. So had to take it out. Please take care of it while preparation. Cholay was average. Nothing special. Have to add chutney to make it taste better. Overall it was good.

I have ordered tawa bhatura from bansal, it was half uncooked and really very bad in taste and cholle was seems like there is only water in them.. totally tasteless.....  worst experience... i appreciate kulcha's of bansal but today's order was horrible. Kulchas are something which one cant miss from munching... Now when we talk about bansal kulchas, The food was absolutely wonderfull and up to the mark, the prepration was very pleasing... As they say, looks can be deceptive. Don't get bogged down by the interiors or the entrance of this place; just focus on the delicious Kulchas. The recent favorites have been aloo methi, spl chur chur garlic kulcha, paneer garlic and gobi garlic, all stuffed in atta base instead of the regular maida base that they use. The sweet lassi is good. The icing on the cake is the Pandit Ji special kulcha - a perfect ending to your meal! The service is good.

If you are in Chandigarh and want to try something new try Bansal's mix sabj kulcha. Mix sabj kulcha is my favourite with daal makhni. Mix sabj kulcha has very unique flavour and you would not end up eating just one. It's recommended that one should have it in their restaurant.

This is by far the best place in Tri City to have Amritsari Kulchas. They also have atta options if you don't like maida. They serve Kulchas with Chana or Dal. Loved the food !!

Brilliant variety of stuffed kilchas to die for. Just one piece per plate, but quite filling. Crisp kulchas with generous, delicious stuffing. We tried gobhi matar paneer, onion matar, Dal cheese, dal methi and Chur Chur kulchas. Desserts include the good old gulab jamun and the rarely-available Gur halwa prepared in desi ghee. A trip to Chandigarh is incomplete without visiting this no-frills dhaba. Recommended indeed!

Afternoon, I ordered one Aloo pyaaz kulcha and one mater garlic kulcha. And it was very good experience.<br/>At night, I ordered one Sahi veg thali with some vegetables like Sahi paneer, dal makhni, mix veg, pulau, raita, salad, gulab jamun, 2 lachha prantha and papad. And it was too good.

This small dhaba kind of place was a real find on a recent visit to Panchkula from Mumbai. The kulchas are crisp and soft at the same time and very filling. The chole makes a great accompaniment.
