I love having lunch at The Masala Grill everytime I visit Cove. It's all so relaxing - the pool, the individual tent setup, the music and ofcourse the FOOD! ❤️

We happens to visit this place 4-5 times.
And everytime we loved the barbecue. They have good variety and good quality food.
Their kababs were different from the kababs which we usually eat at other buffets.
Their dal makhani and Rajma are so good.
Not a fan of their desserts though. But they serve both Indian and western desserts.
You can give this place a try.

Veg main course buffet not tasty but has variety in it.. starters are too good. Crowded place better to book in advance.

Great food and great people. Loved to be here
Romika Dhamija
The service was so poor. They did not ask water even. The food quality was pathetic. They do not know how to serve even. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Tushar Bhola
The buffet was good starting from starters to the deserts only.the main course was okay service was quick food was tasty

If you ever want to eat paneer tikka, then count Masala Grill 's preparation as number one. They planner tikka so tender n flavourful. Infact, it's the best in tricky. Their tandoori pineapple is equally good , infact give tough competition to barbeque nation and prirate of grills. And their Dal makhani is die for. It's actually makhani.. if u ever try Amritsar' Kesar Dhaba Dal makhani...it's that yummy and finger licking good..I relished my meal every time, we visited cove or order home delivery. Scrumptious dining experience. Keep it up 😊

Seriously worst soup I have ever tasted in my life these soup cost me near by 200 RS and there is not a single vegetables in it it just a salted plain water.i said to the restaurant please atleast give a spoon with it they said giving 2 RS spoon is not our standard toh sir jis plastic bowl mein u gave these soup is also cost 3-4 RS seriously worst experience and soup is like yellow water

It was a bad experience when i visited this place in 2017. This time also, it didn't change much.

Service- Lethargic and the waiters do not pay any heed to your request. They are rude. They don't serve dishes they throw the food on the table. Mannerless and arrogant is the word for them. They surely need to check the behaviour of the waiters.

Snacks- I preferred chicken over fish and the veg items. Crispy potato was good. Fish was not cooked properly . Dimsumps were low on taste. Chicken wings were okayish. The other two chicken barbecue items were good. Pineapple is a saviour.

Soup- Tasteless

Main course- Liked their mutton . Rajma probably cooked a day before. Dal tasteless. Rest items were ok.

Sweets- Major disappointment . Rasmalai was stale and ice cream was melted. Milk cake was the only saviour.

Better spend your precious 699 somewhere else.

Ps- Management needs to work on their waiters and the live grill concept is a waste if the food remains cold.

Visited this place now many times and everytime i liked it. Their staff service is very good and the quality of food is equally delicious.
.
They have a wide range of starters+ main course+ desserts.
.
I go there again and again just because of the quality of their food😊.
.
For more updates
Follow- @taste_strikers on Instagram

I found it costly initially as i got less options in buffet but when i had it the taste was awesome. Starters were ok, main course is awesome and must have was there papaya halwa in sweet dish.
Ambiance was awesome.
So overall-
Quality- 5/5
Variety - 4/5
Value for money-4/5
Overall-4/5
I went there with my family and we had a great time.
Service was not upto the mark but food was very delicious..

If you're momos fan than you must try their dumblings

Food : 4/5
Service : 3.5/5
Ambience : 4/5

First visited the place with my team during lunch and liked the concept of grills but the taste was average. The food was not warm enough and gave a feel that it was cooked in the morning.

Best place to enjoy buffet in Panchkula. The food was top notch. Had a great family outing. Hospitality of waiters was amazing. Ambience was super good as well. Will recommend to others and surely visit again.

Not sure if the chef has changed, but the food quality has degraded to the next level. Went there for Monday dinner buffet with my family. Both veg and non veg snacks were below average. Main course dal and rice were undercooked. In all, a very bad experience.

Went to this place and had their veg buffet.... in starters they served
Dimsum, dahi kebab, chilli potatoes, paneer tikka and grilled pineapple..... they were good in taste
Then in main course there was huge varieties.... tried them all.... salads were tasty and desserts were the best part... service was a bit slow... need to improve that...
Prakriti Malhotra
This one is a great place for family dine in. They have buffet and Al carte as well. But their buffet is must try! Love the variety of snacks - food and dessert. Each time we visit here the snacks are new and so are the desserts. Love this place for the food . Just that afternoons can be quite noisy though because of the kitty parties

I has been quite some time i have tried buffet places, but this definitely is one good place in chandigarh if u looking for one such place.
The staff is polite and their service is amazing.
Tried their lunch buffet.
The starters both veg and non veg were delicious. Also there is live barbeque as well. In main course i liked their paneer veg, dal makhni was amazing. And chicken and fish were equally good.
Didnt try my hands on desserts since i was already full.
This is an amazing place to go for get togethers or family outings.

Nice place to have buffet in Panchkula.Centrally located in sector 5, it has good parking lot and restaurant masala grill offers good food with nice ambience.Overall food is good and veg starters were tasty but were bit oily.Main course had dal both yellow and black, mushroom masala, mix veg, paneer makhni, kadhi, white rice,pulao...noodles and veggies ,sauteed veggies...a whole variety to choose from and chicken curry in non veg was good.Golgappa is a must try and sweets were fine too.

One of the best place to dine with family in Panchkula.. You can enjoy great food with live grill. Food quality is really good. You will not be disappointed.
Anu Gupta
This is my recent review about the place and I decided to write about it because the place, food, and quality has changed a lot.
The restaurant has increased the price of buffet by 100 rs. But has reduced the number of snacks to just two on grill.
And the worst is that all the snacks including food were not hot at all. They were all at room temperature.... Guys you have really pathetic food now. Your service part has improved but rest everything has got worst...
Even the managers were busy watching match...
Definitely won't visit the place again..
Kanav Gupta
The staff is superb and polite. The quality of service is amazing . They just don't let your table stay vacant. All the starters are simply amazing. Went there for lunch buffet. The main course is also great and the desserts are super delicious. The ambience is also very nice.

I am generally not a huge fan of buffets but after a long time this place made me like the buffet experience.
They served veg and non veg starters. Had a live barbecue as well. Cold drinks were unlimited too.
•main course had decent food aa well.
• the serving staff had been very quick and active throughout.
•dessert section was a little disappointing as I didn’t relish even a single thing.
Hitesh Batra
The place is having both options i.e. ala carte order or buffet.
We preferred to have a buffet lunch. Buffet starts with grill snacks alongwith some fried items.
Non veg has option of chill fry fish, chicken tikka both with bone or boneless, chicken lolly pop.
Veg has paneer tikka, grilled pineapple, dahi papdi, grilled mushroom.
Main course has Paneer veg, veg, dal, chicken and fish items.
Dessert has option of sweets, gajar ka halwa, ice cream and gulab jamun.
Taste of all the items were good. The only problem was lack of options in snacks and dessert, reason for four stars.
Ambience was great. Five star for ambience.
Overall had a great time visiting the place. 4.5 stars in totality.

Good ambiance with decent quality food.
In veg buffet I just love their snacks (BBQ). My personal favorite are grilled pineapple, which was so juicy and spicy.....mushroom tikka and honey chilly potato.
In main course
I really dont find their main course so attractive i mean it was just average. there are lots of varieties but with average taste.
In dessert part I just love rajbhog and darsan.

All and all it was an good experience.
Deepak Jaidka
Love their food quality, ambience and hospitality. It’s always great to eat at Masala Grill especially because of their sumptuous snacks and desserts

Went with friends for lunch buffet, its not great but more than average.
Limited options, okay okay taste. Its fine to go once when you are looking for something closer in panchkula.
Tarun Sharma
Ordered 2 main course for home delivery! And out of 2 one was khadhi paneer which was without a pinch of salt in it ... must say completely taste less ... en even butter chicken was average ! Avoid this place if you value your taste buds !
Over all good experience, food was good, ambience was nice,,, overall Food Variety was great. The only issue was monotonous atmosphere ... which could have been better. Nothing else to do except eating

Masala Grill - The Cove, Panchkula

The Cove located in Sector-5 Panchkula, is amongst the few spots in Panchkula where people like to visit with their family for quality time. This place has good accessibility to commercial houses and management pay attention to the Service, Hospitability with finesse.

Masala Grill is the in-house restaurant of The Cove that offers an array of authentic dishes from the North Indian cuisines with the help of great chefs. I had made a booking with the restaurant day before yesterday and had got a confirmation call from the restaurant itself for the booking. But then yesterday I just called to confirm from the restaurant but there was no table in my name. I was extremely surprised. But then again made the reservation for 8:30. I received a call from the restaurant again at 8:25 asking whether I was coming as there were people waiting and I told them that I will be reaching within 10-15 minutes. However I again received a call at 8:36 saying that since I had not reached, they would give my table to someone else. I told them I was just outside. He said that I would have to wait till 9:30. He said that I made a booking for 8 and was 45 mins late when I clearly have a message that shows that I had a booking for 8:30 and there is a 15 min window. I had reached the place by 8:40. Then I cut the call and reached the restaurant to which he said that the person to whom he talked on the phone said that I would be coming at 9 contradicting his previous statement of me booking at 8. This is ridiculous on the part of the restaurant and zomato both. I had to suffer embarrassment in front of my guests even though I was on time and they wanted to give the table to some vip guest.

Okay first of all I'll like to mention that because of Navratri this place didn't set up the buffet but don't take it as a bad thing take it as a great deal instead. Because the food is to be served on your table and you don't have to reach the food table again and again for refill.
Now the actual review part.. Cove is a very nice place , ambience is good not great but good.. staff there was good..Snacks were 2.5/5 main course was 4/5 and also because the food was specially made for us only. I always prefer ice cream for dessert but ice cream here was not authentic one. Moong dal halwa was average overall 3/5 for dessert also. Overall I'll give Cove-Masala Grill 3/5. It's a must visit place for once.

Decent food. Good ambience. Had the dinner buffet, both veg & non veg. Service was a bit slow with respect to refilling the grills. Comparable to other places offering same concept, the options in both veg & non veg were limited, especially non veg. Only chicken tangri & fish were served. No prawns. No mutton variety either. Good place if you really have to be in Panchkula, but there are better options around as well.
Yuvraj Thakur
A really nice place with good ambience and nice food. Although the concept is copied from elsewhere but they are maintaining a decent level of quality.

Visited this place yesterday . Had veg buffet.
Starter- their were 6starters in all. 3/5
Paneer tikka(it was good in taste), pineapple ( it was nice and juicy but lil too spicy), dahi kabab(it was very soggy), hara bhara kabab(it lil dry), honey chilly potatoes (it was the best among their starters, veg salt and pepper( it had lil of extra salt in it).
Main course- it was good. 4/5
They had a wide variety in main course. I loved their daal, malai kofta, paneer tikka masala, briyani and hakka noodles.
Dessert- they had 5desserts. 2.5/5
Chocolate pudding (it was below average), kheer(it was less sweet),pumpkin halwa(it was ok), malpura( it was undercooked),ice creams(there were 4flavours. It was ok)
.

We had lavish lunch buffet at Masala Grill. Their food was so tasty especially the snacks: dahi papdi, fish, chilli chicken. Oh god, I just loved everything their. N also in desserts there was something which our generation won't like ie. Papaya ka Halva, n when I tasted,it was so delicious that I had that whole bowl of halva.
I just loved there food n team. Great work!

This is the best buffet in tricity. You may all would have heard that barbeque nation or pirates of grill are best but this is one of the best buffets I ever had. I like it more because of its ambience

AMBIENCE *****
FOOD *****

Its ambience is best especially for couples as it is unique and very cozy atmoshphere to spend time rather than fish market. Its food is good I am non veg so i tried both.

PANEER TIKKA AND CHILLY FISH ARE BEST HERE.

Desserts are good with variety of ice creams there.

OVERALL I GIVE IT 5/5 ratings... Enjoy!!

I went to masala grill on the 25th of August. The food was not up to the mark. The chicken was raw. And the rice in the main course was raw as well. The food was also cold. They said that the food is different because of some Lucknow food festival, but even the streets of Lucknow has better food to offer. The ambiance was good no doubt but the food is not worth it. The service was slow as well
The Foodie Banda
I went there last week for lunch and it was delectable experience.

Starters - I would love to order two things for sure in next visit Roasted fish and chicken seekh kebab. Barbeque pineapple was good but it can't match barbeque nation taste.

Main course - Fish tikka masala and murg makhni are my main course favorites.

Deserts - Don't ask me about they have large variety of deserts for you. The have kheer, rasmalai, different types of ice cream garam gulab jamun and many more items are there in deserts.

Service was quick and staff was friendly.

Best place for food lovers where u can find best buffet with different types of cuisine with number of deserts all are delicious. The ambience, interior, and place was very good. They have large variety of deserts which are delicious. The drinks they served with buffet was also good. For non-veg lovers u will find great quality and taste here.

Ambience was absolutely great. Its a proper fine dine restro.one of the restro in panchkula who has always been able to maintain authentic taste of food. It has wide variety of menu's items in veg and non veg. A place for family who don't like too much noise environment. We choose buffet meal. Taste of kabab, pineapple ,mushroom , paneer tikka was upto the mark. In main course masala rice and paneer lababdar was also good. Staff was courteous. But they need to add some more items in sweet dish.

I would recommend for a family get together.
MJ
One of the nicer buffet options in the area .. but lately the food is not fresh .. and service can be a little delayed .. loved the pineapple starter .. and sweet dishes .. good option for lunch..
Manan
Unprofessional staff. The food is overrated. All the dishes mentioned were not available and the staff was also not responding to the customer demands.

I visit this place regularly and I must say it never disappoints you. Most recent visit was last Friday. Food was good as always with plenty of options. Choices in buffet are also not same everytime so you find new options whenever you visit. Though I still feel they can improve on their service. On the contrary Manager is good enough there so if you face any delay in service he gets it sorted quickly. Overall a safe play specially when going out with family!

The live grill is a given. The food is really good. Delicious. Chef is good and interactive. The ambience is good. Family friendly. Grilled chicken is obviously a great dish.

I loved the food here. Been there twice. Once on my birthday and the buffet was absolute delight. I loved the spread. Chicken lollipop and dahi ke kebab was absolute show stealer.
Second time i went there they had himachal food festival going on. We didnt know what we were eating but it was stunning. I usually like to explore food from different places. So it was a very good chance for me to taste each and every delicacy of himachal in panchkula itself. The crew was very nice they explained each and every dish to us. I can give 5 star for their hospitality. But at the same time i found it a little expensive. The buffet rates are good but if you have some drinks along, also the taxes and charges adds up to alot.

Buffet ? The Cove ?

Yes you read it right ! If you live in Panchkula and cannot travel much so the best place you can go to is Masala Grill, Cove. The food is delicious with a perfect Ambience. But the kindness in waiters was missing.

Rarely does it happen that you've had food so good that you Smile for days and make it a point to tell everyone you meet to experience what you did. I guess that's the best way to put into words the #Foodgasm we experienced at Masala Grill, The Cove. Exceeding my expectations in every manner possible it was one of the best Lunches of my Life.

We were a large group and were all very excited to try the pahadi Food at Cove, afterall it was the first time such a Food Festival was ever happening in the tricity. So on a fine Sunday evening we made our prebooking at landed at Cove. All of the Food Critics on one table with an eye for detail and very particular about our food. Hardly did we know, that we were to be bowled over by the warm hospitality coupled with one of the best luncheons of our lives. Fast forwarding to the special dishes we had:

- Tadka Chachh: Perfect light Masala Chachh as a welcome drink.

- Veg Soup: Timru Tarkari Soup (Unlike the taste of any soup I've ever tasted this was made with Pahadi Herbs and acted as a detox with all the Fresh Greens)

- Non Veg Soup: Kukhura Soup (Addictive to the last sip that's how good this was, made with authentic herbs and spices found in the Himachali hills).

Veg Appetizers:

- Tehri ke Ptunge: (Flat Lentil Fritters served with a Mint sauce with Pahadi herbs these had a very fresh taste and were quite fulfilling)

- Pahadi Siddu: Fresh Bao Buns filled with Lentil paste and many fresh Pahdi ingredients, served with the same Pahadi Mint chutney, I'm told these are the Pahadi delicacy and made almost daily in all the Pahadi Households)

- Bhabri ka Paneer (Soft Paneer Chunks seered to perfection in Tandoor. The secret ingreidients were again Pahadi herbs which were used in marination and the Pahadi Mint Chutney as the accompaniment.)

Non Veg Appetizers:

- Topchi Kukkad (Whole Chicken roasted with Skin and marinated with Pahadi Herbs and Spices)

- Gaad ko Machha (Fresh Sole Fish grilled to perfection)

Pahadi Veg Main Course:

- Kadai ka Bhat (Made with Short Red Rice variety found in the hills, these were quite fulfilling and the texture of the rice was like what you'll get by mixing and churning Quinoa and Tapioca Seeds)

- Kafulu ka Saag (A very rich and detoxifying Green Saag, unlike the Punjabi Saag this had a lot stronger flavour to it)

Non Veg Pahadi Main Course:

- Pahadi Jangli Murgh, Kirti Shahi Shikaar (Mutton) were both fabulous with gravies made from Pahadi herbs and spices.

Kachmoli Salad, Pahadi Raita

Roti:

- Lagda Hara Pyaz ka Roti, Suwali (Like a Poori Stuffed with lentil paste) , Mungri ki Roti, Metha Roti (Sweet Roti) - All very authentic Rotis native to the hills.

Desserts: Amla ka Murabba, Chamcham (Out of the Box dessert, Khoya in the middle of a hollowed out Green vegetable which has been marinated in Sweet Chashni/syrup for a long time), Jhangora ki Tasmai (served in a small Clay Bowl in the shape of a Matka this was pure dope). All the desserts were garnished with Kesar

Mukhwas: To end our Foodgasm we had Mukhwas (mouth freshner) which came in a bowl presented in a tray Pink Rose Petals. The Cove management surely knows how to exceed Customer Satisfaction.

This festival was such an amazing experience which goes beyond words so much so that you have to experience it yourself to know it. We surely were bowled over by the Food, Hospitality and ambiance. Cheers to many more such beautiful evenings at Cove. :)

Kudos to them for organising a Pahadi food festival. You get to visit food festivals for all kinds of cuisines, be it oriental, South Indian, Goan, Punjabi etc but a Pahadi food fest is rare. Great food. Different flavours. Courteous staff. And Pleasing Ambience.

So, what on Earth was so shattering that I drove all the way to Panchkula from Chandigarh, just to have a buffet meal? The answer is the Pahadi Food Festival which Masala Grill has organized. Now, here's a thought which probably struck any other hotelier in this region. A huge chunk of chefs in the tri-city are from Himachal or hilly areas in general. And yet, we have all kinds of festivals ranging from Hyderabadi, Goan to Bengali, Rajasthani and South Indian. But I, at least, have never heard of a Pahadi food fest, when you've got just the right folks in the kitchen to make it happen.

So, full marks on that note to team Cove. Now, for the execution. When we travel, we enjoy local favourites of the region. So, when in Goa, you just can't avoid the vindaloo or the fish curries or even the calamari. But that works to a point after which saturation hits and one yearns for homely food from the roots. Similarly, chefs who’ve left their native villages and towns and have come to the city to work, miss their cuisine, their own flavours, their home. So, when a chef is asked to serve his home cuisine, you can imagine how excited they get and you can never be disappointed if the chef is happy. This is precisely what we saw and savoured at the Masala Grill during this festival which officially begins on 6th and ends on 15th April.

We began the meal with tadka chaas which was outstanding and it set the system rolling for the meal. The meal itself began with Kukhura Soup, a light chicken shorba that was just superb. Perfectly spiced and yet devoid of any thickener, this was chicken soup for the soul.

Among the starters, I absolutely loved the Topchi Kukkad, a type of grilled chicken that was just outstanding, to say the least. Along with that, the Gaad ko Machha, a type of ajwain grilled fish was equally superb. From the vegetarian menu, Pahadi Siddu was a bao style steamed dumpling with daal pitthi filling which was unique and went brilliantly with the novel garnishing that was served along.

I also loved Bhabri ka Paneer and Tehri ke Ptunge.

The mains blew us away. The simplicity that we experienced in this meal was very impressive. Most festivals try to commercialise dishes which usually means they’re over enthusiastically prepped with spices, cream or other enhancers. Here, the quintessential “atithi devo bhava” was evident in the homely cooked cuisine. For instance, the Pahadi Jangli Murgh was a simple chicken curry which was 10/10 in its own right. I generally don’t like chicken curries, in lieu of the more Punjabi, creamy and buttery gravies or the complete opposite oriental style recipes. But this curry blew me away. The chicken was exactly how one cooks at home, a little too soft and too easy on the bone and the curry was spot on, perfectly balanced on spices and flavours.

In a similar fashion, the Kirti Shahi Shikaar was a mutton gravy done absolutely right. Not only the mutton was succulent, the gravy itself was just brilliant. When paired with some of the most amazing rotis we’ve ever had, such as the must-have ‘Mungri ki roti’ or the kachori like Suwali, you would be left with nothing more than heart’s content and a big smile on your faces.

I loved the assortment of rotis that were served. They were filled with everything from colocasia to beans and more and they were all very unique, very novel, very earthly. From the vegetarian menu, my favourite was the Kafulu ka saag.

We finally made it to desserts and what better way to end the meal than with Parwal ka Chamcham, Amla ka murabba and Jhangora ki Tasmai, a type of rice kheer. Overall, we were left super impressed by the authenticity of the cuisine and a chance to discover recipes that we, townsfolk hardly know about.

You must try this fest. It is unique, never seen before and quite economical too. Savour it, as long as it lasts and I wish this becomes a regular feature here.

800₹ per head for a non veg buffet dinner.

I’ve been to puzzles a few times and always wanted to try the buffet here. I did it on Monday. Starters include :
chicken tikka ( was not tender ) ,
roasted leg ( I didn’t try it ),
Chilly Fish ( best item of the entire buffet 😍 ),
Chicken lollipop ( full of flavours ) ,
Paneer tikka was very soft & fresh ,
Even the soya tikka was good,
Pineapple in a buffet starters is my love coz when you eat so many meats you need something sour & sweet to change the taste of your palette,
After the super hit Fish chilly , the next best thing was papdi dahi kebab ; a must try and very well prepared dish,
I missed mutton seekh or a mutton snack but it’s ok coz you can’t complain when you are already full with so much of chilly fish.

Chilly fish was exact same recipe as of the chilly chicken , the fish was crisp from outside and felt like chicken but it was fish. Perfect flavours!!

Mains had a variety of dishes , mutton and chicken gravy , dal , Saag , pasta & veggies , manchurian & noodles , kofta , 2 types of chana- chi peas and green grams, alu gobhi, etc

I tasted more or less all of them. And I liked alu gobhi , pasta , mutton and kofta. Rest were very average.

Dahi Bhalla was soft and a must try.

Couldn’t get a chance to try the soup albeit I always taste the soup at a buffet.

Desserts :
Malpua 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Fruit cream 👌🏽👌🏽
Ice cream ( choice of 3 ) I tried chocolate chip 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Didn’t try the gajrela, spongy Rasgulla or the dry cake as I was full with Malpua and ice cream.

Will I recommend : Yes. Staff is good , place is decent and food is value for money. As it was Monday and it was very less occupied so can’t say how it is on weekends.

Good Place for grabbing Buffet with Family.
Had Veg Lunch Buffet, do use trideal to grab some discounts and offers on Softdrinks.

Initially Starters were not served hot, but it became good later on. I had a lot of expectations from their Dahi Kebabs after reading reviews about them but they were too salty for my taste. Really liked their Salt&Pepper Veggies and Tangi Pineapple. Paneer tikka and Honey Chilli Potato were again something you won't have again. Only Cold-Drinks were offered with buffet and Limemojito and other ones had to be purchased separately.
Service was quick.

Main Course again had a lot of variety but food was a bit less hot. Dal Makhni and Gobhi Adraki were very good(must try), Biryani tasted nothing special. I also really liked the Flavour of Noodles and Manchurian, but again they were not Hot.
Macroni Salad and Chef's Special Pasta was good too.
Could not find good breads here, Ordered Butter and Garlic Naan and I was served Plain Naan instead, by the time Naan arrived the Dal Makhni went cold. Assorted Breads need improvement.

Dessert section was a limited one which had some Great Malpua. Kheer wasn't very sweet and they had only fruit Pudding, no Cake Slices. Ice-creams were of Lotus Brand which I don't like. This section does need more varities.

All in all, probably the best Buffet Place in Panchkula with great Staff. Varities offered here are worth your money.
Cheers.
The masala grill is my favourite place to have buffet at. The Ambience of the place is amazing along with nice seating arrangement. The service is quick. I have also tried their kebbas and pineapple chat. All dishes are platable. It is love to visit masala grill.

The good part was the main course. All dishes were good in taste. The bad part was the starters. 2/6 options available were worth trying. The worst part was the desserts. From kids to elderly people, none of the desserts was good enough to make their buffet meal complete. Overall waste of money.

Food is good with limited menu. Lunch time is not advisable as this place is usually booked with Kitty parties and service is terrible. Overall food is ok not great. It would be great if restaurant bring rotating menu and good service. If you get chance just check icecream fridge , I am sure you will not eat anything in the restaurant after seeing the dirt and black spot there.

have been here ample times. Courteous staff with good food. Nice ambience and perfect lighting
The food is also good. The only problem i find is that they dont offer variety . The menu is almost same everytime. So it becomes a bot boring after a while.
Otherwise a must place to go

The restaurant has good ambience. It is family friendly. The snacks are pretty good though they weren't as hot as they should be. The main course was fine. Included all the usual fare and the taste was up to the mark. Deserts were somewhat limited but good in taste. The service was exceptional. Overall in the price range definitely gives a value for money especially with the deal from trideal.

We make up our mind to go for the buffet.
Excellent quality and variety of starters they provide.
Be it be Paneer tikka, Babycorn , Hara bhara kabab.
Famous for their Dahi kabab and pineapple tikka.
Pineapple tikka had a mixture of sweet and spicy flavour, rich in pineapple juice.
If we talk about the main course we are really disappointed , as it is normal. I found manchurian and noddles to be quiet good , though they had a large variety of salads and items in main course but they are not upto the mark as Starters.
Overall to be recommended once , atleast for the quality and variety in starters.
Pineapple halwa as sweet dish is the best among Malpua, Rasgula, and Milkcake.

This was my 2nd visit to masala grill, cove..
My first visit was in 2016, and i was so disappointed with their food and service.
And the second visit was the same,
Disappointed with their food and variety.
The kheer and fruit cream served in dessert was stale and was bitter in taste.
I won’t recommend this restaurant to anybody.
Worst thing happened today. Poor service, cold snacks, poor hospitality, nothing worst that this could ever happen. May be minus -10 out of 10. I strongly recommend not to visit.

Had a 4 course meal and felt slow service in between but food was good. A good one in category of family restaurants Got some discount as well without asking for it :D

I like the Buffet and all the contents offered in the same, however they many time forget that the one having NV Buffet can also eat V items and he must be served with the same.

Finally got a chance to this restaurant with my family. Ambience was nice & decent. As far as food is concerned, starters were amazing. Dahi papadi kebab was the show stealer. They were awesome & really different. Corn salt & pepper were great too & pineapple chat was again amazing. In Salads pasta salad & kimchi were too good.Kimchi was very juicy.Coming to the main course, it was ok.The only great things were dal makhni & pasta. Again desserts were worth trying. There was kheer which was not good but rest gulab jamun, malpua, rabri were awesome. All in all a nice place to visit for a change as there isnt much in panchkula.

Sloppy service, irresponsible staff, lousy management with careless attitude, midiocre food...list goes on..we arrived there at 2.30 which was half an hour before their deadline but they insisted we were LATE and thus will be served starters only once. But we didnt get all of the starters and staff behaved like we were UNINVITED GUESTS and displayed such irresponsible behaviour that we had to literally get plates, spoons, water and even rotis ourselves by asking their ppl in kitchen.we couldn't even get water on time and when we complained about their attitude, waiter straight away said its our mistake that we were late...so does that mean we have to be treated like that... Pathetic is the word that falls short of what we experienced there.

We went there for Dinner buffet. They started serving snacks in a fast manner. Snacks were good especially baby corn and dahi papdi kabab. Then immediately we were told to have main course because time was close to 11 pm. Main course was almost over and there were no salads... Breads were cold. Waiters were basically waiting for us to finish as fast as we could. Desserts were ordinary..

In short- Snacks good only
Don't go late

Heard a lot about this place. And ratings were also good. So went here with my friends for lunch.
But sad to say that the experience was below average. Service was a bit slow. In non veg section Chicken tikka was not well prepared, tandoori chicken was good, chicken wings lollipop were not served hot. In veg section Dahi ke kebab were yummy while pineapple was ok.
Main course was bad. All the dishes tasted sweet though every dish should be having it's own authentic and distinct taste.
To ruin it all, the time window of buffet is very less. We started our buffet at 2 pm, sat there for like 10 minutes and no one payed any attention. In the end I had to call the manager and asked him to start our buffet by putting grill in our table. Snacks were closed at 2:30 while main course along with deserts was wrapped up at 3 pm. All good buffet places stretch their timings to 4 pm.
I'll think twice before going to this place again.

Food is average. Starters do not have much of a variety in veg buffet.I don't remember the exact name of the mushroom dish but it was not appetising at all.Main course is acceptable. Il surely recommend this place but they really need to focus on their starters.
Bir
Got a lot of positive feedback from friends but not at all worth it. Normal dinner buffet cost on weekend is rs 1k per head in which you will get unlimited drinks along with food. In starters only good part was dahi papri, you can skip soups because they were not upto the mark. In the main course the veg was okish but non veg was hellish. And finally coming to desserts the best was kheer

This was my third visit here with my Colleagues. Good Ambiance actually quite impressive. Food was awesome. Starters I love the variety they provided. Also have barbecue option if you insist. Staff and service was professional and good.

Most awaited place.. gr8 look n feel.. lightning was just perfect.. courteous staff.. starters, soup n desserts were great.. main course was ok ok.. moong dal halwa was just amazing; very light on palette (not like regular heavy moong dal halwa).. thumbs up to this place..
main course need to be improved a bit..

Awesome buffet. The starters are quite good. Paneer tikka nd Dahi k kebab were really tasty.
Main course is delectable. I can't resist myself using 2 plates for tasting everything they had.
Lil less variety in desserts but thats okay!
Must visit place for buffet lovers.
Better than Buffet Hut.
The ambience was also great!

I've meaning to write a review of this place since a long time. Ever since it opened cove has been the buzz of the town. Although I'm not sure why. It's an average restaurant.....fine ambience and okayish food. Although their desserts could use a lot of improvement. For me it was a 3/5.

I was looking for some nice restaurant for a family dinner on zomato and I had heard about this place many times from friends and checked its reviews and finally thought of giving this a shot.
Honestly, I had pretty high hopes for this place but it doesn't quite satisfy that. The dinner started with the live grill starters. Starters were pretty good even though I found paneer tikka to be a bit sour, but they changed it on request and the other batch was fine. Starters were well flavoured and satisfactory.
The main course had quite a variety but it fails in comparison to starters. The biryani was bland. The malai kofta and palak paneer were delicious though. There was also a live pasta which to my surprise, was delicious. The pasta was perfect in taste and not every place can make nice pasta, so I loved it a lot.
Coming to the desserts, not upto the mark. There wasn't much variety. I only liked the fruit cream among all the desserts and ofcourse, the variety in ice creams. Initially they were serving pan ice cream too but soon they ran out of it and then replaced it with kaju-kishmish, that I found wierd. They should have had some fixed ice cream flavours.
Anyway, the ambiance was really good and the entire place was jam-packed.
Overall a good experience. Could've been better!

Not very impressed. My 3rd visit and every time I hoped it would be better but it's the same as an average Indian cuisine restaurant. Nothing particular to mention. Maybe the dahi papdi Kebab is a different experience. Test is average fare. Good enough for Pkl though
